being intersex is quite possibly the most isolating thing i’ve ever experienced. all my life, i felt alone. that no one in the world knew what was wrong with me. that i was a weird, abnormal freak.

i felt horrible. and so, i made sure that i would make people like me feel seen

every day, i see people sharing the terms i created, talking about how relatable they are. when i first saw someone talking about how seen they felt (i love you smilepilled!!!!) my heart was a damn opera, it was singing so much!

while things are pretty bad right now, i’m grateful to have provided a little bit of comfort to those who need it

Hey guys so I'm pretty new to the x files fandom, but I wanted to show off my cosplay... which was the first cosplay I've done for many years actually. Anyway I was at horror con and thought that mulder and scully would be perfect for it!

Btw I was mulder, my sister was scully.

I had a great time with it! There was great props for photos , and a lot of people knew the show and played along, and talked about them watching the show long ago. I also tried to bounce conversations off my sister and I of ransom shit you would see at a horror convention

Some things:

-i am NOT a good actress, but I will hopefully get better with time. I tried for "oh Scully I m getting my insides taken out" look on my face but idk. The other one is "scully look at the Martian. Look at it. LOOK AT IT. Why are you not lookiting "

-i had a binder and promptly panik because I thought I was gonna get stuck in it

- I do not have a very androgynous face. I tried with make up but ymmv. I put bronzer under my eyes a bit, but after realised that the bronzer was not kidding about the sparkles. My sister thought mulder was just being fabulous lmao. Meanwhile I spent my time looking like a homely dude

My wig... I know is too dark. I will continue my quest for a wig that is both the right shade, right cut and not uglyyyyyyyyyy. Idk why that is so hard but it is

I had the time of my life with that simpson ID insert. I dont have a good pick en but there was a photo frame thing on my lanyard that was a UFO beaming up the picture inside. I couldn't NOT put picture of samantha in it lmao.

i wish i could find more ppl similar/find a way 2 talk about like. the specific intersex "damned if i do damned if i don't" scenario where you're gonna be trans regardless of how you identify because you don't have a body that could be solidly identified as male/female so you feel like. like you relate to and feel at home with trans people all over the spectrum but no matter how you identify you also somehow feel like you're intruding. that said, i love you intersex-specific terms

wasnt really vibing with any of the current intertransmasc/intermasc flags so made my own as well as similar versions for intertransfem/interfem and intertransneu/interneu

could probably also be used as intersex-to-male/masc (itm/ixtm/xtm), intersex-to-female/fem (itf/ixtf/xtf), and intersex-to-neutral (itn/ixtn/xtn), idk

anyway, design notes under the cut

i really like these four striped transmasc/transfem/transneu flags and wanted them to be part of the design for the intersex versions

i combined them with the general design of this internon flag since it was another four striped flag that also used white and black in the design

and i was also slightly inspired by this pcos + intersex flag for intertransmasc, especially because i personally feel like pcos influences my identity as a trans man/transmasc person

So my sister and I did a collab sketch with a commission. He wanted it of his furry character , and since we were cosplaying mulder and scully, he requested it xfiles themed. We were ecstatic to comply

This was my favourite sketch commission I ever done. Unfortunately I wasnt around when he picked it up, but apparently he loved it and gave permission to "spread it far and wide"
