Prompt: Gotham Baby Switch Mystery (DCXDP)
Gotham City is in chaos. Major breaking news has just surfaced: a nurse or doctor (your pick) has been involved in switching the identities of nearly 200 babies over the course of their career. Gotham PD, working overtime alongside other police departments, has been investigating the swaps. The authorities now have a list of affected families, and the shocking implications are that the child you’ve cared for, loved, and raised with all your heart may not actually be yours. Worse yet, the child you buried may also have been someone else’s.
Among the families affected? The Wayne family. And, understandably, the Batfamily is freaking out. The questions are piling up: Does this mean we have a brother or sister out there in the world? Why hasn’t Bruce told us about this? Chaos ensues.
Bruce Wayne, however, is left with only one certainty: the child he and Talia al Ghul had together, a baby born prematurely. The child spent days in the ICU, and the doctors were hopeful, but ultimately, the baby passed away. That tragic event had driven a wedge between Bruce and Talia, and she cut ties with him. When she became pregnant with Damian, Talia did everything in her power to ensure that her second child would survive to term, determined not to lose another baby like their first.
Faced with the turmoil of this new revelation, Bruce does the only thing he can think of: he calls Talia. He tells her about the baby swap scandal and asks if, given the news, she’d like to meet the child who might be their lost son or daughter. Talia, understandably, is furious. Her emotions boil over. The trauma of burying her child, only to now be told that the baby may not have been hers at all, is too much to bear. Her first instinct is to kill the person responsible for causing this pain.
Still, Talia decides to take Bruce up on his offer. If the League of Assassins and Batman work together to gather information, she wants to know the truth. And of course, Damian has just discovered that he may have an older sibling—and he’s determined to meet them first. He’s not going to let anyone else in the family get to them first, calling dibs on being the first to see the once presumed-dead sibling.
Two months had passed, and there was still no new information about where in the world Bruce and Talia’s child was. However, since the news had broken in the U.S., many of Bruce’s friends had stepped in to help. Lex Luthor and Oliver Queen suggested that Bruce's child might have taken a DNA test, as it was becoming increasingly popular among adopted or orphaned individuals who wanted to find their birth parents or potential siblings—whether through sperm donation or other means.
That’s when they discovered that a 14-year-old kid from a small town in Illinois had done a DNA test. This was how Bruce, Talia, and the Bat family found out that their lost sibling—whom they all assumed was a boy—was alive. The confusion had arisen because, when she took the test, Danny had used her nickname, Danny Fenton, rather than her full name, Danielle Fenton, which led everyone to assume she was male. In contrast, Jazz, her older sibling, had written her full name—Jasmine Fenton—on her own test. So, when the Bat family found the results, they expected a boy but were unaware that Danny was, in fact, a girl.
However, Danny and Jazz’s parents, Jack and Maddie Fenton, had never opened the letter containing the letter explain the whole affair. . It had been sent to the Fenton household, but it was discarded as junk mail, with the Fentons assuming it was another complaint about their family, specifically Jack and Maddie’s eccentric, often controversial, scientific endeavors. No one realized the importance of the letter until much later.
The test results showed two key revelations that shocked both Danny and Jazz. First, the two were not biologically related at all. They were not sisters by blood. Second, the test revealed that one of Danny’s biological parents had Middle Eastern ancestry. This was a detail that Danny hadn’t known, nor had she ever suspected.
Meanwhile, as Danny was undergoing a strange and painful transformation, gaining her ghost powers and becoming a half-ghost, she unknowingly shared this moment with a significant event taking place far from Amity Park. On the other side of the world, John Constantine was battling demons. During one such fight, a particular demon expressed an intense fear, saying, “Are we really going through with this? I thought Lady Gotham would never agree to it. Hell, most of us demons don’t want to deal with her wrath.”
Constantine, intrigued, asked, “Why would a demon like you be afraid of Lady Gotham? I’ve met Batman and his insane family, and honestly, half the time, I don’t even believe they’re mortal. But what does Batman have to do with you? He doesn’t even know you.”
The demon paused, clearly shaken. “There was an event where Cronus ( Clockworks) called together all the demons, all the powerful beings, into the infinite realms. During that meeting, Cronus ( Clockworks) revealed one truth: the Ghost King will wake from his slumber. And only a warrior—not from the land of the living, nor from the Infinite realm—will be able to defeat him. This event will happen in every timeline Cronus has seen. But the parentage of the warrior changes with each timeline. This time, the warrior’s parentage is what scares us. Nobody wants to see the wrath of Lady Gotham.”
Constantine narrowed his eyes, sensing the gravity in the demon’s words. “What are you talking about?”
The demon continued, fear lacing its voice. “The decision that was made—bringing this individual, this warrior, into the fight—has caused a ripple effect across the ancient realms. Some of us, those who are eternal, those who have never known death, have already overstepped. Even some of the observers—beings who are supposed to remain neutral—have meddled. Now we have to deal with the consequences of our actions. And it’s not just us. It’s the entire infinite realm. We’re all doomed. Let us pray, Constantine, that the Ghost King never awakens. For when he does, and the warrior defeats him in single combat... that will be when all of our fears come to fruition. It will be the beginning of the end.”
Constantine’s stomach turned as the weight of the demon’s words settled in. “You’re serious, aren’t you?” he muttered under his breath.
“Deadly serious,” the demon replied. “What they’ve done… is beyond repair. And the worst part is, they didn’t even realize it. The actions of the living—specifically Lady Gotham and her vigilantes—have overstepped a boundary. The warriors of Gotham, the protectors, the police, the citizens—even the Joker—are all unknowingly playing a part in this colossal mistake. It wasn’t Darkside, or any of the other cosmic threats or even Supernatural threats that you and those Heroes have faced, that will bring about the end. NO It’s this one misstep. One moment of carelessness. One action, and now it’s too late.”
Constantine stood there, his mind racing. “This prophecy... It’s not just about one person, is it? It's about the whole damn city, the whole damn world.”
The demon nodded grimly. “Gotham is the key. And once the warrior rises, once the wrath of Lady Gotham is unleashed, nothing will stop it. Cronus himself is holding an emergency meeting about this, trying to figure out how to deal with it. And let me tell you—things are not looking good for anyone.”
Constantine cursed under his breath. He realized that the situation was far worse than he could have ever imagined. If the demon was right, and this prophecy was truly tied to Gotham, then they were all in serious trouble. And what terrified Constantine the most was the thought of Batman finding out that someone—someone he loved—was being manipulated, consciously or not. Batman didn’t care about the methods or the reasons; if anyone he cared about was caught up in a scheme like this, the consequences would be catastrophic.
“God help us,” Constantine muttered, more to himself than to the demon. “Because if this gets back to Gotham… none of us are getting out of this alive.”
So if this post gets a lot of likes I will make a part 2 continuing the story. Because this is something that has been stuck in my mind I just want to share it.

Tim Drake, Son of Green Arrow: A Wild What-If Timeline
Okay, picture this: Tim Drake ends up being adopted by Oliver Queen. Wild, right? But hear me out.
It all starts with Janet Drake. Back in her boarding school days, she was close friends with Bruce Wayne and Oliver Queen. As adults, they drifted, but she always trusted them. So, when drawing up a will with Jack, she names Oliver as Tim’s guardian if anything ever happens to them. Why Oliver? He’s got a stable family life with Dinah, and Bruce is still just “Brucie” at this point, with no Dick Grayson or Robin yet in the picture.
Fast forward. Tim’s parents die in a tragic accident, leaving him alone… until Oliver Queen steps in. Tim gets whisked away to Star City, where he finds himself in a home that actually feels like a family. Oliver, Dinah, and Roy include him in their lives in a way his biological parents never did. They’re attentive, warm, and actually there.
Tim’s obsessive interest in Gotham and the Bat still exists, though. Even as he helps the Queens behind the scenes (because, of course, Tim figures out their identities), he keeps an eye on Gotham and Robin. When Jason Todd dies, Tim immediately notices the shift in Batman. He sees how broken Bruce becomes and, unable to ignore it, brings it up to Oliver.
Oliver listens. He pulls some Justice League strings, and they all step in to help Bruce. But even with the intervention, Tim can see Batman isn’t the same. Batman needs Robin.
Tim, being Tim, takes matters into his own hands. He sneaks back to Gotham, tracks down Bruce, and demands to be Robin. Bruce, skeptical but too tired to argue, lets him. Tim starts living a double life—splitting his time between Gotham as Robin and Star City with the Queens, who have no idea what he’s up to. Bruce assumes Tim’s guardian is some guy named Eddie (a lie Tim pulled out of thin air), and Tim’s balancing this precarious act of being a superhero under two noses.
Then comes the reveal.
After the Tower incident, when Jason comes back and beats Tim bloody, Tim limps home to Star City, where he can’t hide the injuries anymore. Oliver and Dinah are horrified. They demand answers, and Tim finally confesses everything. Dinah is livid, Oliver is fuming, and Roy is caught somewhere between “I’m proud of you” and “I want to wring your neck.” Oliver decides he’s going to have a chat with Bruce about endangering his son.
But Tim? He begs them to let him stay as Robin. He swears he’ll stop as soon as someone else steps in, but Gotham needs Robin. Reluctantly, the Queens agree, but now they’re involved. The next time Bruce and Tim are working a case, Oliver is in the Batcave, glaring daggers at Bruce while Dinah insists on debriefing Tim like he’s an adult.
And oh, the dynamics.
Tim is fiercely loyal to both his families. He adores the Queens—they’re the parents he always wanted—but the Bats become like a second family to him. Jason, after getting over the guilt and anger, starts treating Tim like a brother. Meanwhile, Roy and Jason develop this weird rivalry over who’s Tim’s actual favorite sibling.
Roy: “I taught Tim how to shoot a bow. Can you even use a bow?” Jason: “I’m sorry, does the term ‘second Robin’ mean nothing to you? He’s literally following in my footsteps.” Tim: “I like both of you equally!” Tim, internally: It’s definitely Roy.
Bruce? Bruce gets jealous. He watches Tim laugh freely with Oliver or cling to him at the Watchtower, and there’s this pang of something he doesn’t want to admit. Bruce cares about Tim, but Tim’s already got a dad in Oliver, and it shows.
But at the end of the day, both families fiercely love Tim. Whether he’s in Gotham or Star City, he’s surrounded by people who’d do anything for him. And Tim? Tim wouldn’t trade either family for the world.
#tim drake#batfam#oliver queen#bruce wayne#jason todd#roy harper#when damian comes around tim steps down as robin and starts working in star city more than gotham after he establishes his new identity#the bats are in shambles#roy harper is tims favorite brother but he doesn't tell anyone#I don't think his red robin run would happen in this universe bcs he actually has people that would listen to him and believe him

Hello Marinette Salt prompts!
After coming across a post that someone gave you an ask about the deconstruction of Maribat and how Adribat makes more sense, I (admin of Maribat Menagerie) took a look on the blog and wanted to commend you on the job you have done.
Maribat as a fandom tends to salt on Adrien's character a lot and make Marinette OOC. Adrien as a character already has enough parental trauma yet Marinette, who has a great home life, seems to get hers stripped away somehow and there are times when Adrien gets told off as if has no family troubles at all.
Adribat has a lot of potential for the Marinette salt lovers out there. For example,
Hawkmoth is defeated and is revealed as Adrien's father. Chat Noir holds onto the butterfly miraculous because Ladybug wants him to know that she trusts him. Ladybug and Chat Noir meet up to do their reveal. Ladybug goes on a tangent about how her parents could be as bad as Gabriel because of xyz from Lila. She claims that having Hawkmoth as a parent would not nearly be as bad as her parents believing a liar. Chat Noir is already disliking the comparison when Ladybug decides to reveal herself first. Seeing that it was none other than Marinette as Ladybug, Chat Noir's view shifts entirely. Marinette asks for the butterfly miraculous and tells Chat Noir that he does not have to reveal to her until he is ready. He refuses and backs away. Chat Noir pops off on Marinette for her dismissal of her parents and her audacity to say she would rather Hawkmoth had been her father. Once he has said all he has, he leaves Marinette up on the rooftop. Cue Adrien leaving Paris and ending up in some DC city with Marinette trying to manipulate the Justice League to help her get the Butterfly and Black Cat miraculous back.
There is other baseline potential for Adribat that feature Marinette salt.
Marinette Wayne (Bio-Dad Bruce AU) envies Adrien having a fashion designer father and says that Adrien should be happy about it
Justice League member of choice reaches out after learning about the Paris situation and only will talk to Ladybug because Chat Noir is not "mature enough" or "the leader" of the Miraculous so they only wish to talk to the one who has been through it all (aka Adrien relevance erasure)
Bruce Wayne comes to Paris undercover to investigate the situation and ends up trying to adopt Marinette because of a couple not-so-great Lila influenced moments instead of listening to his kid(s) that noticed the home life problems of Adrien (More of Bruce salt with added Marinette salt if she backs him up)
Ladybug gets offered a position on the Justice League, but Chat Noir is either not offered any spot at all or is designated to the Teen Titans/Young Justice instead
The classmates give credit to Marinette for Wayne Entreprises related events (class trip to Gotham, visiting Paris branch, etc) when Adrien is the one who reached out for Marinette because the Agrestes know the Waynes as well as Oliver Queen
Ladybug moves to Gotham, does vigilante type things, gets caught then tries to make it out to Batman and Co. that she was the only one to defend Paris, but little does she know that Adrien followed her (Perhaps Catwoman helps teach him how to steal stealthily and he gets a miraculous back from Marinette to make a point)
Apologies for how long this ask is. For those attempting to come up with a new way to do Maribat and make it flow a bit better, hopefully one of those helps.
Happy Creating Everyone!
P.S. I would love to hear the fellow admin's thoughts on any of these if they would like to. Adribat plus Marinette salt is always a sweet combination.
As someone who was cautious about any prompt involving Maribat, I (the admin of this blog) am grateful that you saw some of the prior prompts and chose to not come with pitchforks blazing, given the stance on this blog against the topic for salt-related reasons. And thank you for the commendations!
I do not know if I said this before, but I don't feel particularly against the idea of a Miraculous/Batman crossover. For what its worth the idea does have some merit, and despite the difference in tone and medium, I don't think that the idea is too far fetched given there has been more crazier crossover ideas than two franchises involving animal themed costumed superheroes.
However, I do take a strong stance against Maribat (as it currently is), due to the fact that the "genre" was created for, and is still strongly based on, the idea of creating salt against other miraculous characters one way or another. In all honesty, some if not most of the ideas created by Maribat creators do have some merit for interesting fanfic ideas, but they are largely utilised as excuses for salting on characters.
The idea of Maribat came across with the salty backlash against Chameleon, and the whole Damian x Marinette ship was made to cause as much Adrien salt as possible. Bio-dad Bruce Wayne is a bit out there, but it could at least be fun to read (especially if you consider they made a similar idea with Terry in Batman Beyond). However, the number of Maribat fics that take this idea without bashing against Marinette's parents (which itself makes no sense considering canon itself shows how much they care) can likely be counted on one hand. And that's assuming they don't go full on fanfic and make Marinette an orphan.
But back on topic, thank you for reaching out! I had a look at your own blog and I can appreciate the idea of taking the Maribat idea and trying to make it it's own thing rather than just another salt prompt. I appreciate your suggested ideas, and I hope that you will find much joy in my blog as I do in yours!

Look out, it's time for the Potted Fanon History of the one, the only...BRUCE WAYNE!
Bruce, 8: His parents were shot dead by [Someone/Joe Chill/the Mafia] outside the theatre in Park Row where they just saw Zorro. Kneeling in blood, pearls, etc etc.
Bruce, 8: Jim Gordon was the cop who responded to the scene and took care of Bruce.
Bruce, 8: Alfred takes custody of Bruce and they live in the Manor together.
Bruce, 12-16 (optional): Bruce attends school with people like Oliver Queen and Lex Luthor (at a boarding school), or Zatanna and Harvey Dent (at a regular Gotham school). Bruce is known as the cryptid who hides in the library reading forensic pathology textbooks in his free time.
Bruce, 16-18: Bruce finishes school and embarks on a Secret World Training Tour. Highlights of the Tour definitely involve the League of Assassins and probably several nameless monks. Bruce may have an intense homoerotic relationship with Minhkhoa Khan. The following individuals may be namechecked but are unlikely: [Shiva, David Cain, Henri Ducard, Richard Dragon]
Bruce, World Training Tour Edition: Bruce will first meet Talia at this time, and they may get married/conceive Damian. Do not look at the timeline too closely.
Bruce, early-mid 20s: returns to Gotham, is reminded that he is scared of bats. "Yes father, I will become...a Bat!"
Bruce, early-mid 20s: has encounter with An Individual (name varies, solidifying to 'Red Hood' these days as everyone's hung up on Jason) in the ACME Chemical company vats, the other person falls into the chemicals. The Joker is born hahahahahahahHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Bruce, mid 20s: meets Superman and Clark Kent, they simultaneously figure each other's identities out. Shortly after they form the Justice League with Wonder Woman.
Bruce, mid 20s: Bruce goes out for the night to see Haly's Circus when it visits town. Graysons fall, Bruce sees crying kneeling Dick Grayson and immediately imprints on him and takes him home.
Bruce, mid 20s: Dick Grayson becomes Bruce's Ward (TM). Dick also becomes Robin. They swear an Oath (TM) by candlelight to "fight together against crime and corruption and never to swerve from the path of righteousness!" (Actually I don't think the words of the oath are that well known but I couldn't help myself)
Bruce, mid 20s: has many undetailed adventures with Dick. I cannot reinforce how big a blank hole this period is.
Bruce, early 30s ish: Bruce runs into Talia and sleeps with her again (as written by people who CAN count to 10)
Bruce, 30s: Dick gets injured during a fight. Maybe with Joker, maybe with Two-Face, quite possibly with no details. Bruce tries to ground Dick for his own good. Bruce and Dick have a big fight over Dick being an adult now and you can’t tell me what to do. End result: Dick is no longer Robin and moves out (to Blüdhaven). Bruce immediately sulks.
Bruce, 30s: Batman parks his Batmobile in the middle of Crime Alley and comes back to find the tyres being jacked. The teenager attempting this then hits Batman with a tyre iron. Bruce, missing Dick yelling at him, is immediately charmed and takes Jason home and proceeds to instantly adopt him and make him Robin.
Bruce, 30s: Bruce learns about classism from Jason. Bruce Wayne, a man with the biggest charities running in Gotham, years of criminology experience and who travelled the poorest parts of the world in his quest for training, had never contemplated that poor people commit crime because they’re poor and the laws are against them. This rocks his world.
Bruce, 30s: Bruce fails to call Dick to tell him about his new adopted Jason!Robin. Dick comes over to have a screaming match with Bruce in the Manor/Cave about this. These will be a regular feature of Jason’s entire time as Robin.
Bruce, late 30s: Felipe Garzonas occurs. Bruce accuses Jason of killing Garzonas. Bruce will shortly feel intense guilt for this.
Bruce, late 30s: Jason runs away to Ethiopia and is blown by the Joker in a warehouse. Bruce arrives just out of time, to find Jason's body. He is devastated and blames both himself and Jason. He takes Jason's body back to Gotham where there is an autopsy. Joker just disappears with no trace.
Bruce, late 30s: gets more and more violent in his despair over Jason's death. Tim comes to him to explain why Batman is going off the rails and offers to be Robin.
Bruce, middle aged (don't look too closely): Bruce accepts Tim as his new Robin, however insists they are Just Coworkers. He may still be suicidal at times. He probably calls Tim 'Jason' by accident. He insists he never wants to be close to another child again.
Bruce, middle aged: Bruce comes face to face with Bane, who Breaks His Back (TM). Bruce then recovers. This is a very important moment, however any details of the recovery or who was Batman in the interim are unknown. Good job, Gotham healthcare services set up by Thomas Wayne!
Bruce, middle aged: Bruce becomes worried about Tim's parents (as he's reluctantly become attached to Tim). They are never around, which is how Tim manages to be Robin. They are definitely neglecting him. They might be abusing him! Bruce either fosters Tim because of his terrible neglectful parents OR Janet dies and Jack ends up in a coma and Bruce fosters Tim. Either way, Bruce becomes Tim's guardian.
Bruce, middle aged: there's a new crime lord in Gotham called the Red Hood. Batman must track him down. Bruce discovers that this is Jason. Jason begs for Bruce to kill the Joker to avenge his death and Bruce refuses because He Has A Code. Bruce throws a batarang at Jason's neck and slits his throat.
Bruce, JLA edition: at some point Bruce made some Protocols, or possibly some Killer Robots, just in case someone else on the Justice League goes evil. The rest of the Justice League find this out, due to this situation going wrong and the plans being activated by something. Everyone on the Justice League gets very upset with Bruce.
Bruce, middle aged: at some point Bruce adopts Dick and Tim and Cass. Details of when or where are scanty. They're his kids now. Everyone moves into the Manor (except Dick, who visits from Bludhaven every weekend to see his siblings).
Bruce, middle aged: Talia drops Damian off on the doorstep. Bruce now has a (biological) son! Unfortunately Ra's Al Ghul wants to steal his body. Damian must be protected.
Bruce, middle aged: dies. How does this happen? What are you, a cop? Fortunately Bruce being ultraprepared for anything including incipient death, he has left extensive notes about who deals with what when he's dead. Dick gets custody of Damian (but only Damian). Tim gets Wayne Enterprises.
Bruce, middle aged: returns from being lost in time (not dead). Thanks, Tim. No I will not return to being the main Batman in Gotham or take back Wayne Enterprises, it's time for me to travel the world and create Batman Incorporated in every nation on Earth!
Bruce, middle aged: eventually returns home and moves back into the Manor. Damian is now his Robin. Everyone else may still be living in the Manor, may have moved out because of Sad Conflict Drama because Tim feels like he's Just A Coworker or Cass is In Hong Kong. Dick may or may not return to Bludhaven now.
Bruce, middle aged: begins to reconcile with Jason, because he finds out about Jason's Pit Rage and trauma. Jason promises to use Rubber Bullets or to just shoot people in the knee, and says he will patrol Crime Alley because nobody else understands it and the people inside it like him. Bruce is just fine with this.
Bruce, middle aged (Damian edition): Damian dies. Bruce is extremely distraught about this due to his trauma over Jason and immediately works to hunt down a way to resurrect Damian.
Bruce, middle aged: meets Duke and seeing another teenager who is trying to fight crime, immediately brings him home to foster/adopt.
Bruce, Good Dad edition: at some point Bruce has Seen A Therapist and gotten Therapy. He is now completely au fait with the latest things you read online about complex PTSD and is sorry for the hurt he has ever caused any of his children. He goes around talking his children down from disassociation and panic attacks and nightmares. He wraps them up in weighted blankets and watches TV shows You Like with them. He has a new Ace, who is a Therapy Dog for Trauma. When someone has a bad night the entire family sleeps in his giant bed as a sleepover. He is completely focused on the mental health of his children.
Bruce, Bad Dad edition: Bruce has punched Dick/Jason/Tim/Damian (choose whichever set you want) in the face and accused them of not following orders. He has rages and demanding expectations on everyone. Multiple of his children can no longer put up with it any more. He does bad things to them and says it's for their own good.
Bruce, currently: Bruce is a Good Dad! Everyone is either living at the Manor or stays over after patrol regularly. They have regular movie nights. Bruce is actively running Wayne Enterprises. If he sees an unattached teenage vigilante anywhere he might adopt them and bring them home too! He looks after all the associated Gotham vigilantes and does not know what money is worth. This is hilarious as he tips 3000% or whatever on every purchase.
Bruce, currently (alternatively): Bruce is a Bad Dad! After failing his children nobody wants to be near him and he needs to apologise to all his children so they forgive him. Bruce has left Damian for Dick to raise all by himself (that's ok, Dick is really Damian's adoptive dad) and Tim to struggle with the pressure of being a high school dropout CEO of Wayne Enterprises. He is fighting with Jason over the One Killing Rule and won't compromise, even to kill the Joker, despite Jason desperately wanting that proof that Bruce loves him more than he loves the killing rule.
Bruce, currently: Bruce is dating one of Selina, Talia, Clark or Minhkhoa. Whichever on this list he is dating, he would never ever consider getting with Selina and/or Talia again (delete whoever necessary).
#potted bat fanon histories#apologies for the delay but Bruce took some effort#additions for this edition are welcomed#bruce you have done everything (and nothing)

BREAKING: ANYA'S DIRTY LITTLE SECRET ID'd! IS ANYA DATING A BUILDER?
A Tartosan Tabloid appears to have identified Anya's Mystery Boyfriend! Lingua Tartosa recently published an article identifying Anya's new man as "Gus," who happens to be a builder.
The article claims that "Gus" is a builder who works in Tartosa. Excerpts of the translated article reveal:
"Our sources can 100% confirm that Anya is dating a builder. He goes by the name 'Gus' and lives and works right here in Tartosa. Imagine? Anya is dating one of ours! Well, technically, no. Although he has been working in the country for a while now, he is apparently originally from Rennaux.
The lovebirds met during renovations of Anya's villa. Who knew Brindleton's future queen liked them rough, rugged, and blue collar? Maybe that's why she's been hiding him! Imagine a Crown Princess slumming it with a builder - although he is admittedly handsome! We're proud to say we've finally cracked Anya's code, and we can now reveal her dirty little secret."
The write up also included paparazzi photos of the man in question. Gus is pictured wearing a red and black flannel shirt, and tried to go low-key with an olive green baseball cap. The flowing hair, the luscious beard, the piercing brown eyes, and his overall casual style seems to confirm that Gus, indeed, is Anya's not-so-secret boyfriend.
Gus also looked to be a little agitated when he realised that his photos were being taken and made a quick escape to a nearby truck. The photos were taken at a construction site in Southern Tartosa, about two hours away from Anya's new (old) cliff-side villa.
Anya's dating history is being dragged back to the surface after the revelation. Thus far, Anya's confirmed relationships were with a Duke, a veterinarian, and a football superstar. A builder is definitely quite the surprise - not that there's anything wrong with that!
However, not everyone seems as open to the idea of a blue collar royal boyfriend. Discussions on social media have been rather... colourful. One post read:
" Anya broke up a royal engagement and still managed to turn down handsome Prince Fonsi for a grumpy-looking BUILDER. Fonsi left Felicity for Anya. We all know it here in Selvadorada. Poor Fonsi's heart has been broken twice."
Of course, such claims cannot be confirmed as multiple reports suggest that the Prince's engagement ended for completely different reasons. There's also the fact that Anya and Fonsi have never been romantically involved.
Another person wrote:
"I would LOVE to see Emilia's face. She's been bugging Anya to marry and get knocked up so she finds the first bloke she sees and calls it a day. Our future consort is a builder. Heck, my brother's a builder and he lives right here in Brindleton! Had we known, we would've sent his ugly face her way! LOL! This is worse than Alice and her bodyguard! Serves Emilia right for being such an overbearing parent!"
There are, of course, those who love the idea of Anya's latest love story:
"I think it's wonderful and very romantic. It shows that love knows no bounds and class does not at all matter. I think this reflects wonderfully on Anya. She's always been very humble and kind towards everyone. He must be very special if Anya chose him. If they love each other, I'm all for it!"
It looks like we'll be hearing more from Gus and Anya real soon! We still have questions and we'd love to get some answers!

Adolescent Antichrist Pride Special 2024
Father Figure! Lucifer Morningstar x Teen! Reader
Demon! OC x Reader
Pride Special 2024
“Is that Lucifer singing on the drag float?” said Em, blinking.
“Oh, yeah, but he set up the pride event in LUX, so he decided to include himself in all the ridiculousness,” said (Y/N). “But it is fun.”
“Bisexual mess,” said Em, nodding.
“Definitely,” said (Y/N), rolling their eyes.
“His makeup is awesome,” said Marcel appreciatively.
That was true. Lucifer was wearing his usual suit, but he had on eyeshadow in bisexual hues, and his voice was carrying over the crowd as drag queens and kings danced around him.
“And he sounds amazing,” said Noa. “I didn’t know he could sing like that.”
“Yeah, yeah, he looks and sounds good, let’s stop complimenting my dad,” said (Y/N), making a face.
“Harsh as ever, even during Pride,” laughed Olive.
“Well, no need to change your personality for Pride,” said Leon.
“Of course not,” said Em. “And we should know—we’re the LGBTQ+ Breakfast Club!”
(Y/N) laughed. “Hell yeah we are.”
“I can’t believe you had time to design pride-themed clothes, too,” said Olive. “I love how this looks.” She spun around in the lesbian, sunset-themed sundress (Y/N) had made.
“Well these aren’t hard to do. I just did simple, pre-made designs instead of deciding on all the patterns myself,” said (Y/N). “I’m still working for my senior project anyways.”
“We still appreciate it,” said Leon, nodding his head. They wore a pin with he/they on it and another with the asexual flag on a vest in pansexual colors over his collared shirt.
“I love shirt you made,” said Marcel, tapping the trans-flag-colored shirt he wore over his favored. He wore a rainbow choker overtop that.
“Really, it wasn’t anything,” said (Y/N), waving a hand. They had on pants with patches of nonbinary-flag colors while their shirt was white and read “Queer” in cursive paint (put on by themself, of course).
“Oh, come on, take some credit,” said Noa. “You do a lot for others and then you just act like you haven’t done anything. They had on a crop-top with bisexual-colored butterflies and ripped jeans. Giant earrings reading “they” and “them” hung from their ears. (Also, they had change the beads in their locs for rainbow patterns).
“Come on, just say ‘thank you’ and admit you worked hard,” said Em. She had on a pin with “she/they” on an oversized t-shirt overtop white pants with lesbian-colored flowers printed in.
“…Fine. Yeah, thanks,” said (Y/N), looking away uncomfortably.
They were used to just handling situations or problems by themself, even if others were involved, so being reminded that people cared and appreciated the work they’d been brought up to expect was nice. Sometimes, the lessons (Y/N)’s biological parents impressed upon them didn’t go away. The remnants stayed in their mind.
Luckily, their friends showed their appreciation for (Y/N) and who they were and what they liked to do. They had a support network, and (Y/N) could relax more. They only did things for others when they actually cared. (Y/N) was happy.
“Now, cheer up! Let’s have some fun!” said Em, pulling (Y/N) into a side-hug. “Don’t be a grouch during Pride, Birdie.”
“I’m not a grouch,” protested (Y/N).
“No, just living off sarcasm,” laughed Olive.
“Don’t worry, we love it,” said Noa, chuckling.
“Leon, let’s dance together,” said Marcel, grabbing his partner’s hand.
“I’m coming,” said Leon, following their boyfriend onto the dance floor.
“If Lucifer spots them, he’s pulling them on stage, isn’t he?” said Noa, grinning as they moved onto the dance floor with the others.
“He threatened to involve me,” said (Y/N). They shook their head and smirked. “But I threatened to have a panic attack and he let me go.”
“Oh, please, you’d be fine and you know it,” said Em, grabbing their hands and swinging them around to the music.
(Y/N) spun and faced her again. “Yeah, but Dad’s protectiveness always wins out over logic.”
“You’re way more cunning than he realizes,” teased Olive.
“You’re lucky he didn’t disapprove of Em,” said Marcel.
“You’d be surprised of who parents approve of. Most of society would think my parents wouldn’t approve of you, Marcel, but my parents love you,” said Leon.
“Him? The idiot punk?” said Noa.
“Hey!” said Marcel, but Leon laughed and kissed his forehead fondly.
“The point is, of course Lucifer approves of (Y/N)’s choice. They know what they deserve and wouldn’t date someone terrible,” said Leon.
“I’m not surprised he approved,” said Noa, smirking and exchanging a knowing look with Marcel. “Em is one of his demons.”
“Oh, yeah, definitely,” said Marcel.
“Shut up, I was terrified my boss would disapprove of him,” grumbled Em.
(Y/N) groaned and turned away before their cheeks warmed too much. “Instead making fun of my love-life, can we just enjoy pride?”
“I agree,” said Em quickly. “Want to keep dancing, Birdie?”
“Yeah, sounds great to me,” said (Y/N), grabbing Em’s hand and dragging them away from Olive wiggling her eyebrows at (Y/N). “Shut up! They’re my partner, I can dance with them without being teased!”
“At least they’re together now,” said Leon.
“Seriously,” laughed Marcel.
“It took them long enough,” said Olive. “If they weren’t together by now, by Pride, I’d lose my mind.”
“Actually, it’s the most the LGBTQ part about it,” laughed Noa. “They’re terrible at flirting.”
“Now that’s pride,” said Marcel.
(Y/N) and Em, ignoring the teasing, simply listened to the music and screamed the lyrics to Lady Gaga songs. Their hands were clasped tightly together, and when someone came around with rainbow flags, they took one and draped it over their shoulders. (Y/N) and Em were happy, side-by-side, being proud in who they were.

BIOGRAPHY
Ivor, the firstborn descendant of King Fergus, was named Merida at birth. As the princess of DunBroch, his destiny was decided for him even before he was born. He was betrothed to some boy he had never met before to strengthen the alliance between the clans. But he never wanted to be a princess, to be like his mother married to some king. He wanted to be… well, himself. He always felt wrong inside his own body except when he was out in the woods. Exploring, hunting, practicing archery instead of lessons after lessons about how to be a lady. He didn’t want to be a lady. If he had a choice, he wanted to be like his father, a mighty warrior who fought the demon bear Mor’du, the Bear King who protected his people.
Though his parents wanted him to get married as soon as he reached adulthood, Merida fought tooth and claw, competing for his own hand in marriage during Highland games, running away from home or going into hiding. At least when the triplets were born, the wee devils bought him some time by stirring up so much trouble at the castle and took some heat off of him. His parents never gave up, however, especially his mother. After one particularly terrible argument, he ran away into the woods again. Except this time, his fate manifested in the form of wisps and guided him to an old witch. The princess struck a deal with the witch, asking for a spell to change his fate. The witch gave him a cup of magical tea and a blueberry cake; the tea to turn him into a prince, and the cake to help him convince his mother if being a prince doesn’t work. Both spells worked like a charm. Merida was transformed into a prince, and the magic brought him and his mother closer. Eventually, at least, after shenanigans involving his mother turning into a bear and trying to undo that spell, his baby brothers accidentally eating the cake and becoming werebears from its side effect, trying to stop King Fergus from killing the queen… and all that.
That was only the beginning of the story, a prologue if you will. Merida, now going by as Ivor, felt responsible for what happened to his brothers. So the prince left the kingdom with the triplets to help them learn how to control their inner beasts. Once his brothers were old enough, he ventured out into the world traveling far and wide hoping to find a way to perhaps revert the spell on his brothers. A hero at heart, he was often stopped by those in need of helping hands, saving people, fighting off invaders and slaying monsters. But Ivor never stayed in one place for too long, always eager to move on and find a new place to explore.
But destiny called him back home again. Mor’du was wreaking havoc in DunBroch and the princes were summoned to help the kingdom deal with the Demon Bear once and for all. Ivor and his werebear brothers fought fiercely against Mor’du at a fated stone circle, and at the end of the battle, one of the stones fell on the Demon Bear. To everyone’s surprise, from underneath a man emerged. Crínán Na Tuaighe, the cursed prince of the lost kingdom. But at any rate, the terrifying reign of Mor’du was over and Ivor was happy to leave with his brothers again…
Except now that he is in his forties, his parents expect him to settle down and succeed the throne. To find a spouse, start a family and rule DunBroch. Though Ivor doesn’t want to, he is mature enough to understand his parents and reluctantly agree to consider settling down. Especially now that the portals opened between different realms, the new adventures are calling to him but he can’t go gallivanting like he used to.
POWER
Ivor is a master sharpshooter, a skilled warrior and seasoned adventurer. Though he does not possess any supernatural strength or (meaningful) magical abilities, his years of experience and training honed his combat skills to a superhuman level.
While he can wield most weapons with ease, bows and arrows are always his first choice of weapon. As an exceptional archer, he can take a shot while running and jumping, on horseback or even hanging upside down.
His aim with bows is impeccable which stems from his ability to predict the movement of the targets and the environment around him in a split second. He can measure the distance between one point to another accurately just by glancing, and calculate the speed of the moving target and how long it will take to reach a certain point.
His sense of sight and ability to process visual input are heightened and he can see anything from a great distance away with amazing clarity and details. Even when his sight is limited, he can sense threats or targets without needing to see them.
When in melee, Ivor prefers shortswords, short spears or daggers, and he is also skilled in hand-to-hand combat.
He is a veteran horseback rider, and is experienced with fighting on horseback.
While Ivor has no obvious magical gift, he is sensitive to the presence of spirits and possesses an uncanny insight as if he sees into people’s souls.
Wisps and other minor spirits are drawn to him, and sometimes guide him. He can communicate with them, gathering information or finding paths with their help.
His intuition is incredibly sharp and he often gets a read on people instinctively. This helps him in combat as well, allowing him to predict their movements more accurately.
He has an impeccable sense of direction and often finds his way to the destination without knowing how.
HEADCANON
“Mac Fergus” simply means “the son of Fergus” and his clan name is closer to his surname. So his name would be Ivor DunBroch.
Thanks to the magic potion he drank, his body has male genitalia.
His brothers were born when he was in his early 20s, and since he raised them after their departure from the kingdom, he sometimes acts more like a father to them than an older brother.
Ivor was taught how to play musical instruments and how to weave as a child, and studied literature and singing. Not that he is any good at those. But he enjoys weaving and knitting, since it is more tactile and useful.
Although he was taught the proper manners and etiquettes befit a prince, Ivor acts casual and informal enough that not many would assume he is a prince.
Ivor has no romantic bone in his body and he is often called dense and can’t pick up flirting. He is more interested in archery and horseback riding than sexual encounters.
A terrible cook. Thankfully Ivor is not a picky eater and he will eat anything.

Lex Luthor is the villainous version of Oliver Queen. I don't just mean because Oliver is a staunch Liberal and Lex is all about Capitalism. I mean, Ollie has been put in a lot of situations where even without his wealth, he's still a hero. Lex, if poor, would still be a villainous bastard. Some of his origins involve him being poor and killing his parents for money. I don't believe for a second that he needs any of his wealth to be evil or that the wealth is what makes him evil. You can give Lex two paperclips and a Subway coupon, and he'll find a way to use it to try and kill Superman.

Tomorrow Will Be Different 26
Chapter 26 out of 26
Instead of managing to meet up later, Oliver has to keep running with Akio. The only way to keep them safe is to go public with Oliver being alive, leaving him back home in charge of Akio, while Tatsu and Maseo are still in the wind
In this chapter, the Yamashiros leave and Oliver decides what the next part of his life will look like.
On AO3.
Ships: Tatsu x Maseo, minor Tommy x Laurel
Warnings: mentions of panic attacks and ptsd

Chapter 26: Dealing with Them Being Gone
On the tarmac, it isn’t any less strange than it had been two days earlier in the court house that he isn’t going to be in close quarters with Akio or Tatsu and Maseo anymore.
But he keeps that strangeness to himself. They finally have each other again, they’re going home. They don’t need him being weird about it. Besides, it’s not like he’s going to lose them forever, there will just be a little more distance between them.
He hugs Akio tightly and says: “God, you’re gonna do great, Akio. I just know it. Give it some time and call me whenever you need, okay?”
“Okay,” Akio agrees, hugging him back. “You can also call me whenever you need.”
The gesture makes Oliver smile and he tightens his grip for a second. “Thank you, buddy. I’ll remember that.”
They let go and Akio seriously says: “Don’t get sad and grumpy without me. Your face looks weird when you frown.”
“Thank you,” Oliver chuckles. “I’ll try not to. Be good for your parents.”
“Yes, sir,” Akio salutes, something Diggle taught him.
Oliver shakes his head with a grin, ruffling Akio’s hair, before turning to Tatsu and Maseo. He hesitates for a moment, but Maseo moves first, puling him into a hug. “Thank you again for all you have done for us. If there ever is anything we can do, please, allow us to help.”
“It wasn’t a hardship,” Oliver replies. “Thank you for looking out for me the past year.”
They let go, both looking each other in eye, before giving one another a sharp nod, then they step back and Oliver moves to hug Tatsu. He doesn’t expect much, a brief hug at most, but she surprises him by pulling him close.
“Thank you so much for watching out for my Akio,” she whispers. “You’ll always have a home and a family with us.”
Now Oliver is getting choked up, while he told himself not to cry. He pushes it all down, though can’t help but hug Tatsu tighter as he replies: “Thank you for letting me into your home. I’m a better man for it. Akio is lucky to have you as parents.”
Behind them, Akio is saying goodbye to Diggle, while Tatsu moves to thank Moira and Thea, who have come as well, with her husband once Oliver lets go.
When they’re done with that, they board the plane. The Queens have loaned out their jet to them for this trip, wanting to ensure they had a comfortable flight without curious fellow passengers or paparazzi following them all the way to the gate.
Oliver stands next to his mom and sister, Diggle half a step behind him. There is more space between him and Thea than him and Diggle, but he’s getting there.
Neither of his mom nor his sister know of his panic attack at the courthouse and he’s planning on keeping it that way. He doesn’t want them to worry and he doesn’t want them to ask questions. He just wants to go back to always being fine, like he used to be before he left. He wants to get the good pieces from then back.
Diggle clearly disagrees, as did Tatsu and Maseo when he told them not to mention it, but Oliver doesn’t care. With Akio and his parents back to Japan, he craves a normal and his normal has never involved his mom and sister worrying about him like that.
So, Oliver puts all that undercover work to use and plasters on his best brave face as they wave the plane goodbye.
Akio is pressed up against the glass of his seat the best he can, grinning and waving. Oliver imprints it the best he can. He knows it’s not the last time he’ll see Akio, but it somehow feels like it, like an ending.
As the plane disappears from view, it hits Oliver that it is definitively over. He completed his mission.
The thought creates an empty pit in his chest. Ever since Tatsu and Maseo returned, it has been growing, that feeling of unease, but he’s been able to push it down with the thought that he was still responsible for them here. That is now gone.
Oliver is without a mission. It is over. He is home completely. Nothing standing between him and life as he knew it.
It’s terrifying.
His nightmares have already been bad ever since he got home, however, the panic attack didn’t happen until the courthouse, until his mission was almost done. Not having a mission only makes him more anxious and the only way to make it better is to think of his plans as a vigilante.
These plans to become a vigilante are not ones he can talk about. Diggle might be a good asset later on, but he can’t have him stop him before it’s off the ground. It’s something he needs.
Not just to keep the anxiety away or to let out the darker parts inside of him, but to do good as well, to make his father proud.
He still hasn’t forgotten the video his father left him that he found when breaking into QC for A.R.G.U.S., nor what he said in the boat, nor the sacrifice he made so that Oliver could live. These past three years have made it difficult to do right by him, but now that he is no longer responsible for Akio, he can. There is no one dependent on him, should it go wrong.
The latter part is another reason he probably shouldn’t tell anyone about his plans. He knows people will care if he gets caught or hurt, but it’s not the same as someone relying solely on him to look out for them.
He has to reconsider the importance of others in his life when they get back home. Tommy is sitting in the living room, grinning when the come in. “What are you doing here?” Oliver asks.
“Well, as I predicted you got empty nest syndrome the second Akio left and have been pouting ever since,” Thea says. “As your kindhearted and generous sister, I organized board game night to cheer you up.”
His two siblings – because let’s be honest, Tommy is family – have organized this for him. They’ve gone out of their way to make him feel better, to do something with the three of them. They care so deeply about him and he’s planning on getting caught into something dangerous just to make himself feel better.
It’s selfish in a way and he starts to doubt if he should go through with it. Akio might not rely on him anymore, but these people still care. They rely on him in different ways and will be upset if something happens to him.
All of it makes it so that Oliver chokes up slightly, but he luckily doesn’t have to do anything with those emotions, because Tommy says: “I suggested making a custom castaway card for the Game of Life, but Speedy vetoed it.”
“I suggested teen adoption instead,” Thea smirks.
“Both of you suck,” Oliver informs them happily, plopping down on the couch as he declares: “I want to play Ludo.”
“Ugh, you are so boring,” Thea groans as she gets out the Ludo to set up.
“I call playing green,” Tommy says.
“Hey, I wanted green,” Oliver pouts.
“No, you always play blue. I play green.”
“Maybe I want to play green now. I feel like I have the right to first pick today.”
“Oh, I see how it’s going to be, huh, pulling out that card?”
Thea interrupts their familiar bickering: “If both of you are going to be twelve years old about it, then I’m playing green.”
“You no longer want to play red?” Oliver asks.
“I do, but not if you’re going to be a baby about it,” Thea grins.
Oliver narrows his eyes at her, then turns to Tommy and says: “I play green,” snatching the pieces out of the box.
Tommy rolls his eyes, but he’s grinning. “Alright, I’ll play yellow. But I call dibs on green next game. Deal?”
“Deal.”
They play three rounds of Ludo, which Oliver wins none of. He always sucked at Ludo and he had half thought that with the strategy he’d learned, he would finally find the secret, but no such luck. So, he forces them into playing Risk after, gleefully wiping the floor with them.
It’s after they’ve gone two rounds of Risk and are setting up for the next round, while Thea goes to get them snacks, that the happy atmosphere breaks.
Tommy glances around and says: “How are you doing, man?”
“Good,” Oliver replies, cautious at the tone. “I miss Akio, but this is nice. Thank you for coming and doing this.”
“Of course,” Tommy smiles, before his face turns serious again. “Laurel mentioned your freak out at the courthouse, but when I asked your mom how you were doing, she didn’t seem to know a thing about it.”
“You told her?” Oliver panics slightly at that. He wants to hide that from them, Laurel – and now Tommy knowing – is already too many people.
“No, no, just implied, but I got not reaction,” Tommy says. “Dude, are you hiding this?”
“What? No. …Maybe,” Oliver clears his throat. “You can’t tell them, Tommy. I don’t want to worry them. It was just a one off thing. Nothing big. I don’t want it to be something big.”
“It sounded like something big, dude. I mean, Laurel said you were completely out of it, struggling against your bodyguard and needing two people to calm you down. That is something big. You can’t just brush it off.”
“Yes, I can. I don’t want to talk about it.”
“Come on, Ollie. You can talk to me,” Tommy implores.
And in that moment, Oliver realizes he can’t. He can never open up about any part of it, ever. Even if fictionalized slightly to fit with his story. He can’t break the view they have of him, he can’t ruin the memories they have of Ollie.
He carries a darkness, created from the things he’s had to do in order to survive. It has become a part of him. Oliver doesn’t know who he is without it. But it’s not a nice thing, not a savory thing about him.
If anyone here knew the things he has done, they’d be horrified, rightfully so, maybe even scared of him too, and he wouldn’t be able to blame them. No matter how hard he tries, he isn’t made to fit in with polite company.
Tonight has been a taste of the good times, of the simpler years he lived. However, it is never the same as it used to be.
Thea has been way too agreeable, trying to cheer him up and Tommy is now inquiring about how he is, genuinely concerned something is deeply wrong with him. Even in this lighthearted moment, those years and how they changed him hang over him.
He is trying to wave away his episode at the courthouse, saying it was a one off, but he doesn’t know that. If he doesn’t do what he has planned for himself, that might become his life and the thought is terrifying.
The only person he has here now that might understand is Diggle and even he doesn’t fully know or understand what Oliver went through. He’s proven himself ready to support Oliver, help him through this, but Oliver isn’t ready to face that.
He doesn’t want to have more of those attacks, doesn’t want to find an outlet for all that is caught up inside of him. What if he lashes out because he hasn’t found anything yet and someone gets hurt? He already nearly killed Diggle earlier, what if it had been someone more breakable like Thea? He can’t risk that.
No, Oliver needs the outlet, needs the mission to keep him sane. He needs to do right by his city and his father. This is the way to do all of this in one. Keeping the bad men away has been the only skill he has gained these three years that is actually good, he should do that.
All these realizations wash over him in the split second after Tommy tells him he can talk to him about what’s happening.
He blinks himself back into the present and tries to be as reassuring as possible with his expression as he replies: “Tommy, I appreciate it, really. But there’s nothing to talk about. I’m fine. Truly. It wasn’t anything big. Laurel arrived later than the main thing, the rumors got out of hand.”
Tommy doesn’t look like he believes him, so Oliver pleads: “Please, I’ve already put mom and Thea through so much. I don’t want to worry them when it was nothing. I have it handled.”
Thea comes back with snacks before Tommy can reply. She looks between the two of them and asks: “Did something happen? You both look so serious.”
Oliver looks at Tommy, holding his breath as he waits to see what he’ll say. After a beat, Tommy answers: “I just realized how long Ollie has gone without sex. That’s something horrible to mourn, Thea.”
“Ugh, you’re both gross,” Thea wrinkles her nose. “I don’t wanna talk about Ollie’s sex life – or lack there off – let’s play more Risk.”
“Ready for me to kick your ass again?” Oliver gloats, happy for the deflection. Tommy has always been the one better at coming up with excuses.
“As if. Those two times were just luck,” Thea says.
The rest of the board game night passes in a good mood, but Oliver is aware of what his future will hold and he’s sure both Tommy and Thea feel the sudden barrier that has been erected between them.
But Oliver doesn’t acknowledge it. He was a fool to think that barrier wouldn’t be there, that he could just fit back in to his old life.
He’ll still try, of course. He’ll play at who he used to be, because that person can never be who he is now or who he is planning on becoming. He’ll need a cover and his old life is perfect. But those closest to him will feel that it’s not the same. It’ll hurt both them and him, but it’s the way it has to be.
The next day, he goes out to the Glades, using covert tactics to get the supplies he needs as he starts to set up a base of operations.
Within days, he’s in business. His father’s notebook is on the table, open on the relevant page. Tonight he’ll start with the first name he plans to cross off: Adam Hunt.

It’ll likely play out a little different than the first season of the show itself, but I will leave that up to your imagination, because this is the part of the story I wanted to tell. Thank you so much for sticking with me for it’s entirety and congrats on reading 100-ish pages xp

can you tell us more about headverse deathstroke and family/friends/allies?
Slade's father was Charles Ulysses Wilson, the first modern Prometheus, and his terrorist bombings of Seattle (the same attacks where Roy lost his parents and was maimed himself) eventually led to the creation of Star City under Bobby Queen and his son Oliver. He had a younger brother, Wade, who used their mother Francine's maiden name, LaFarge, to distance himself from their father's legacy. Slade's only other major associate from his time was W.R. Wintergreen, a veteran of the English Civil War on the side of the Raven Alliance. Wintergreen fled to America after the Ravens lost, through many of his surviving compatriots remained and went on to form the basis of the Norsefire Party.
Slade himself was already in the military by the time of the attacks, but the revelation of Prometheus' identity barred him from advancing through any legitimate channels. Instead, he found himself involved with Team 7 and covertly deployed in Kahndaq on the eve of World War 3, where he met his future wife, Adeline Kane. Like many of their contemporaries, Slade and Addie were subjected to metahuman modifications by one Dr. Niles Caulder during their time with Team 7, enhancing their physical and mental capabilities and giving Slade a minor healing factor.
After Team 7's dissolution, Slade and Addie had two children--Grant and Joseph--while Slade had a third child, Rose, with Lillian "Sweet Lili" Worth and fourth, Tallant, with Talia Al Ghul (conceived through artificial means). All four inherited the metagene: Grant, Rose, and Tallant had minor variations on their father's abilities, while Joey underwent a drastic mutation tied to a traumatic childhood incident that left him mute, but able to possess the bodies of others, eventually developing into a range of psychokinetic powers. There's speculation regarding a fifth Wilson child, but their whereabouts exist in a confusion of hypertemporal intersections.
After eventually divorcing, Addie founded Searchers Inc, before finding that venture subsumed by a group her ex-husband was already associated with: the Hierarchy of International Vengeance and Eliminations, known more commonly as the H.I.V.E.. Searchers Inc was restructured into Project Defiance, an attempt to create a team of young metahumans under HIVE control following the disastrous events of "The Culling."
Slade was eventually murdered by Tara Markov in retribution for her past abuse as his protege. His consciousness was resurrected and bound to an artificial body created from the Great Darkness by Trigon, this "King Deathstroke" serving as one of the King of Tears of Sorrow Knights during the Great Crisis Era.

Some of the things I hate the most in comics are characters who are time/universe displaced.
These types of things happen because of popularity and making it so that they are stuck in a place, still, I'm not fond of the trope when there are better alternatives.
(DC universe: legacies #2).
Originally 2 of the founders of the seven soldiers of victory were Oliver Queen and Roy Harper, better known as green arrow and speedy. But here's the catch, since they didn't have a Alan Scott/Hall Jordan situation DC would often change the line up to not involve the archers... That is until 2021 with the stargirl spring break special where they reveal they got sent back in time by clock king and where the golden age heroes.
The previous solution was good or alternatively pulling an All-stars wouldn't be bad I think, hell @the-antiapocalyptic-man take on how a golden age green arrow would be is pretty cool.
Usually with these types of things DC easily solves with merging universes with yeah it works like 80% of the time.
Another character that fits the bill is power girl, I'm not a big fan of her (not that the character isn't great, it's just that I'm focusing on other heroes) but her history is intertwined with her "younger" counterpart in ways that honestly hurt both characters.
She is both an unfortunate outcome of editorial mandates and amazing writing.
From the other beast that dominates the comic book industry you have Miles Morales and... Oh boi.
I have a love and hate relationship with him, I get why he is here but more than anything I'm frustrated about marvel inability to actually commit to the decision, one day he remembers he is from another universe and the other he doesn't so what is it? Oh and also while we are at it his 616 origin sucks and I fucking hate Aaron.
(I think a cool version of 616 miles would be him being the son of one of those 7 unnamed Brothers of Hobie, he is also a mutant and would take on the mantle of prowler after his uncle retires or something).
Now the main reason I made this post is Bart Allen, don't get me wrong I like all these superheroes and enjoy their displaced nature but what happens when Bart ages? Is he still gonna exist when parents are born? Obviously none of these questions are gonna be answered because these characters are never gonna age, even if it's there's an ongoing plot for it.
Oh and don't get me started Scott Summers and his panteon of children from apocalyptic futures.
Anyway sorry for the long rant about me being racist agonist fictional people from other dimensions.

Background:
Puppy is the newest addition to the coven, and the first boy to join in decades. Though it was difficult for David to open up his heart to another man after getting it broken by Michael Emerson, he took a chance for the sake of his beloved bride. The new baby bat is as loyal as they come, and desperate to please his beloved queen. Safe to say he fits into the family perfectly.
Oliver’s human life involved living as a gentle soul in a cruel world. He was cared for by his father, Thomas, after his mother, Amy, died from breast cancer when he was a toddler. His parents were already struggling to make ends meet, but the medical bills and funeral arrangements financially crippled his father. It wasn’t easy for them. Thomas would work nearly every single day, balancing two jobs in construction and food delivery to make ends meet. He was in a constant state of exhaustion.
Every last penny had to be spent as carefully as possible. There had to be difficult choices, like whether they would go without heat or water for a while depending on which bill was paid. Having to double, even triple check every last item before checking out at the grocery store. Though his father was a brave man who stayed optimistic for his son, Oliver still could hear his father gently crying in his room, feeling all too somber over what he was going to do.
School was a struggle as well. Not only were some kids viciously cruel towards Oliver due to his lack of money for lunches and stopping by donation lots for hand-me-downs, but he also happened to live in a particularly homophobic community. He had some feminine traits to his appearance, meaning bullies found him to be easy pickings. All in all, he was an average student who just kept his head down so others wouldn’t bother him. It was impossible to make lasting friendships, but he was a lot like his father in that way; stuck in survival mode.
Oliver had absolutely no sights set on college. When he graduated high school, that was it. He had no money or talents worthy of scholarships, meaning that was the farthest he would ever get for his education. All he wanted to do was help out his father. So he followed the man in his footsteps, taking on hard labor fresh out of school. He got his job experience in retail, ringing up orders and getting screamed at by Karens for mere minimum wage. Still, it helped take the burden off of Thomas, and that’s all he wanted.
Unfortunately, Thomas never got a happy, restful ending. He fell asleep at the wheel after working one of his many all-nighter shifts and crashed into a tree. The only peace Oliver got from such a terrible loss was knowing his father went quickly.
There was no hope in the hometown Oliver grew up in, and nobody left to call family. He decided to just hike out to the west and see if the grass was greener on the other coast. It was an incredibly dangerous journey, but he felt it was worth it when he finally arrived in Santa Carla. He had heard great things about the city getting cleaned up over the past few decades, and he could certainly see that with all the bright lights, beautiful beach spots and amazing businesses on the boardwalk. It gave him a newfound sense of optimism.
Of course, Oliver had to start from the ground up. He found work as a waiter at a popular Italian restaurant in order to pay for the shoe box of an apartment he was set up in. While daytime shifts were pleasant and easy, he found that there was a change in the atmosphere when nighttime came. Tourists always had a blast, but familiar faces to the area seemed on edge. They became cold and silent towards him. If they did speak to him, it was advice to keep his head down and mind his own business.
He found that the locals were quite secretive and paranoid. As if some terrible force had its control on them. As if it was a secret they all held.
One day he learned why that was. On a beautiful, moonlit night, a couple came into the restaurant. Voices hushed to pure silence as a stunning woman and her platinum blond lover made their way to a private table in the back. Oliver would have been confused at such a reaction if he hadn’t been so captivated by the lady. Sis was her name, as he learned. He got tongue-tied and red in the face as he stumbled through taking her order. He was quite embarrassed, but she was amused by his behavior.
Sis was so happy with his service that she had her husband, David, leave Oliver a huge wad of cash for a tip. Enough to cover the rest of his rent for the month. From that moment on, he became their go-to server whenever they came by.
Oliver never understood why his co-workers never wanted to serve the couple. They were charming, generous, and always complimented him for his hard work. He even found that Sis was growing quite smitten with him, often flirting to a point of making him blush. Though Oliver worried it would bother her husband, he found out later that they were actually quite open in their relationship, as they’d often bring other dates. Sometimes they shared a partner, sometimes they had separate ones. It was inspiring with him, especially since he was coming to terms with his own identity.
One night while Sis was dining with David, Oliver tripped and spilled a glass of wine all over her dress. His coworkers all scattered to the kitchen, scared of how the couple would react. But before David could reveal his nature and tear the boy to shred, Oliver immediately jumped into action. He gathered various material and offered to clean the dress himself. Even pay for the damage if he had to. The guy was down on his knees, tending to Sis with the utmost care. It was then that David realized there was a greater purpose for Oliver. Something he could use for the benefit of his wife.
After the restaurant closed that night, Oliver’s boss warned him not to get involved with the couple. He even offered to put Oliver on the day shift since they never came in during that time. But it was too late. Oliver was starting to develop feelings for Sis. She was truly perfect in his eyes, and he would work hard for her just as his father had done for his mother.
Little did he know just what that would entail.
On his walk home, Oliver was followed by three handsome men. He assumed they were just random locals until he heard sinister giggles from behind him. He looked behind for merely a second, but it was just enough for the three to get the jump on him. He blacked out after one of them injected him with something.
The next time he woke up, he found he had been kidnapped. Oliver was bound and chained in a strange room full of torture devices. He slipped into a state of panic before a familiar voice greeted him. It was David, now showing his true colors. He explained how fond Sis was of Oliver, and that he wanted to give him to her as a “gift”. It was then that David and the other Lost Boys revealed their darkest secret.
They were all vampires. Blood-sucking monsters that preyed on the fear of Santa Carla. It was why everyone was so fearful of them. They were tormented by creatures of the night. Oliver hadn’t known a terror quite like that.
For a few months afterward, each of the boys took turns in “training” their newest member of the coven. They taught him how to take both pain and pleasure, follow every command, memorize every code of the pack, and most importantly, how to make the queen happy. David found that the best tool in corrupting the boy was using his crush on Sis against him. He promised the two could be happy together. That she adored him. That he could be with her forever and never lose her like he did his family.
It reshaped his mind, slowly turning him into an obedient, desperate-to-please slave. By the time his training was complete, he was given a new name like all the other mates.
Puppy.
David presented him to Sis as an anniversary present. He was freshened up with the finest soaps and oils, had his gorgeous curls styled, and dressed in clothing with soft colors. Puppy even had his own collar. Something only Sis had the key for. David explained that this new mate was a gift to make up for what he did to her cat, Queen. Puppy was more than eager to take on his new role. He believed that his true purpose was to take care of her. To worship her. To make her happy. Sis was overjoyed, and she played with him quite a bit that first night~
He’s now a vampire like all the others, acting as a servant to the coven and a guard dog to the baby bats. He’s still got the sweet, adoring personality from his human life, but Sis’ blood has dialed that part of his personality up to an 11.
Puppy struggles with terrible fits of anxiety from time to time. He’s seen what kind of punishments the others face when they disobey their Head Vampire. Not to mention the Toy Room left him mentally scarred. Whenever someone so much as threatens it, he falls to his knees and sobs out, begging for mercy. It’s gotten to a point where he needs medication for these moments. Whenever he doesn’t use a prescription, Paul will get him some special gummies to calm him down.
He’s also incredibly territorial when it comes to Sis. If they’re out together and he feels someone is disrespecting her, he goes on a rampage, screaming, cussing, fighting and even tearing apart anyone who would even think to speak to his queen in such a way. Sis has affectionately named him her guard dog.
Fun Facts:
Insecure of smiling with teeth before he turned (never really got proper care for them)
Knows advanced first aid.
Wanted a pet growing up, but wasn’t able to bring one in.
Misses the hugs his dad used to give. His father was a warm-hearted man who gave great bear hugs. It’s why he’s so affectionate too.
Is nicknamed “Angel” by Marko. The two look somewhat similar, and Marko sees him as the angel to his little devil.
Identifies as Pansexual.
Hates smoking. He’s often teased by the Lost Boys for coughing over their cigarettes.
Is originally from Pennsylvania.
Was gifted a special necklace by Sis when he joined the coven. It’s a metal collar that can’t be removed by anyone but her. The tag is engraved with her initial.
Is the only one in the coven to be sired by Sis. Everyone else has been given blood from David and the boys, but since he is a gift for Sis, he was turned by her so they’d have a special connection.
Loves playing basketball. He played it a lot during after school programs and at the park, so now he plays with the others whenever he’s in the mood for a game. He’s hoping to teach the children how to play when they’re older.
Relationships:
Thomas and Amy - Parents. Both deceased. Loved them both dearly.
David - Leader/King. He looks up to the brave, charismatic vampire. Shows him the utmost respect and appreciation. Fears him whenever he’s angry.
Sis - Mistress/Queen. Worships the very ground she walks on. Fell in love with her at first sight, and did not hesitate to become a vampire for her. Believes his new purpose in life is to be her loyal pet and do whatever she wishes. Sis thinks he’s precious, and has a lot of fun using him as her own personal toy. She also has a weakness for freckles, of which he has plenty.
The Lost Boys - Coven Brothers/Superiors. He’s the first male member of the pack to not hold authority. He’s the lowest in the chain of command, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t cared for. In fact, the others adore him, often treating him like a Sugar Baby. He works for them however they want, and they reward him with plenty of cash and goodies. It gives him a rush since he never had such luxuries before.
The Brides - Coven Sisters/Superiors. The girls adore Puppy, both as a friend and as a piece of eye candy. They’re grateful to have someone to keep authority over. The boys robbed them of their independence, so Puppy acts as their own toy to bring back their power. Unlike the boys, they aren’t needlessly cruel. They’re very sweet to him and very generous with rewards.
The Children - Honorary nieces/nephews. Puppy is an excellent caretaker whenever the coven needs help with the kids. Growing up in poverty, he had his fair share of experience seeing kids of all ages struggling, and they all did what they could to help one another. He’s not sure if he wants a child of his own, but he doesn’t mind hanging out with the little ones for now.
