drawing sidestep in a turtleneck, sweater, and leather jacket. as if going outside in that outfit in Los Diablos weather wouldn't kill them instantly. like man i understand your need for layers and secrecy and whatever but there's a high of 114° i think you should just stay inside today. which is riskier, exposing yourself to the Special Directive or exposing yourself to a fuckin Southern California summer day??? If the Heartbreak Incident couldn't kill them, the goddamn. Heatstroke Incident will take care of it jesus christ. Their tan lines have got to be fucking crazy. they will never recover from this.

What's the story behind Denmark and the Netherlands?
Like, behind the ship? Or just in general?
Denmark and the Netherlands has a long history of friendship as well as many similarities between them. They have been trading partners since the Middle Ages, especially regarding cattle trade, that peaked in the 1600s and is this ongoing with Denmark exporting a calves to the Netherlands. Many Dutch refugees fled to Denmark during the Eighty Years War between 1568 and 1638, which further established links between them. They had a rough patch in the 1620s when Denmark upped the toll through Øresund because they were low on money. This cuased the Netherlands to join Sweden in war against Denmark in 1643. Still, after this, the Netherlands and Denmark-Norway remained allies and the Netherlands came to help when Sweden attacked Copenhagen in the 1660s. The Netherlands saved the city from capture. Likewise, Denmark-Norway helped the Netherlands in the war against England in 1665, which resulted in Dutch victory, as well as in the Thrid Anglo-Dutch War between 1672-1674. Further on, Denmark attacked southern Sweden as retaliation after Sweden had attacked the Netherlands in 1675. Sweden won the battles on land, but lost at sea.
Both Denmark and the Netherlands have similar terrain, extremely flat, and as such has both a love for biking and have infrastructure that facilitates this. Apparently the Danes and the Dutch are two of the few countries that celebrate copper wedding anniversaries (12,5 years) in the world, and they are both known for having similar mannerisms.
So, Denmark and the Netherlands have a long shared history of allegiance, trading, and cooperation between them, as well as cultural similarities and shared interests. Also, both their languages are incomprehensible garbage

Having a thought about how the amount of wealth Bruce comes into and then amasses for himself changed over the decades of Batman media, and the reason he's beeen scaled up to be so impossibly wealthy is probably because cities and companies in DC lore are analogs to real life places and companies.
Wayne Enterprises probably reflects how homogenous American multinational corporations are now, where a single company can make and distribute almost all consumer goods because it has bought out/merged hundreds of smaller companies + purchased everything it needed from the ground up so it does not depend on many others besides itself.
Just something that crossed my mind when I was looking up what WE actually does and the Fandom (bleh) wiki listed so many branches. Wayne Shipping? Wayne Foods? Like...is this Amazon and Bruce is now Bezos? Wayne Entertainment? He's also Disney? Wayne Electronics? This is Apple? Wayne Aerospace? Boeing??? Bruce is trying to be in control of and monitor every single means of production and every production line fr
Feel like that should influence how people view Wayne Enterprises and Bruce himself. Steadily creeping in and taking root in every industry. People get curious about a new construction project in the city, but once it's revealed to be a Wayne Tower it's filling people with dread. Though, it was a long time coming...everything you order online comes in a box with a W on the tape delivered to your address in a black as night truck with a giant W emblazoned on the side. The meds in your cabinet were produced under Wayne Pharmaceuticals. The cable and streaming services were recently bought by Wayne Entertainment. The Wayne Foundation started offering scholarships at the major college campuses. Your phone is Wayne tech. Your car was built with Wayne Steel. Soon the hospitals will be all Wayne Medical, your insurance company bought out. The local newspapers and stations will be bought up. The libraries. The clinics. The orphanages. The schools. The grocery store. You're never going to scrub that b ig soulless W out of your head. The way the logo looks like the head of a pitchfork, ready to stab and capture the intended prey.
Thinking about how Wayne Medical seems so innocuous in what it does except for the bit on how Bruce has access to every person in Gotham's medical records, because he can access the Wayne Medical databases and use that information to track suspects. And the thing is WE does not just exist in Gotham, it's a multinational corporation with bases in major cities not just in the U.S. but around the world. This man has millions of people's medical records easily accessible to him which feels both extremely unethical and extremely illegal. Not that civilians can prove he can and does access those records though.

i understand people say albedo is good for every team but not invaluable for any team (mono-geo aside), and i was fully prepared to play with him for the aesthetics because i adore him, but he actually pulls A LOT of weight on my teams and i ACTUALLY hate it when i have to put someone else in his slot. his quick cooldown? his off-field constant damage? his EM boost? his constant shields? i mean. i love him. he has genuinely reduced the damage we take by a huge amount.
plus, him and venti work weirdly well? you suck the mobs, you drop a flower, and you wait. that’s it. that’s what it is with mobs.

Ahhaha.
I'm happy to find someone who gets it. And that this someone has the same birthday <3
Also when I saw the dog! Robin fanart I was like "God I wish we had an option to praise the characters. I could call him a good boy. "
Also what do you think about Alex? Like I know that you enjoy Wren and Ivory Wraith (same here) and sent away Kylar (which I support completely, he has interesting plot but I hate his guts).
Hewwo hewwo nice ta meet cha finally~~ Ehehe thank you for always looking out for me~
and same I wanna have more pampering interactions with him, so much that it's starting to get in my dreams lately.
For Alex... boy I really haven't drawn him huh? That's incredibly forgetful of me, or I just focused too much on Wobin and totally forgot to mention Alex.
In short: He's my boy toy and hoo boi he's good at this job~
Joke aside I really adore him. Genuinely. Cannot rivals the love for Wobin, but he's honest and kind and got that country boy charm. I interact with Wren so much and while the truth is indeed I find the blackjack endearing, I only do it to protect the farm. Gotta kick Remy's ass. Those only nights I don't ride back to town to sleep at the orphanage are during Remy's raid. Gotta reward Alex cuz he worked hard and brave~
I just hope I can interact with his "Mad scientist" side more. I'm more than capable of growing, like, helluva of strange flowers for him if needed. Just thinking: he in the lab, tinkling with those glowing purple phials, and his usual smile fades into frowning, concentration is just *chef kiss*
All in all, I enjoy his character, even more than Sydney. Sydney's something else, he just... doesn't sit right. But that's another story for another time.
