Secrets and Shadows: An Intricate Tale of Love and Deception in Goa #ShortStory #fiction
Sunlight drapes like molten gold over the Goa coastline, and already the fishing boats are stretching their nets across the calm, iridescent waters. Going back to episode 3 cause I'm still hung up on how RR claimed that he could get away with delaying the Medusa reveal in the book but in the show it was just so obvious, and thus Annabeth would get it right away. And its just like dude, come on, you yourself wrote the perfect device in the book called the Mist that obscures a monster's true appearance and can also trick demigods and the like. He also heavily implied in the book that there was some form of magic going on at Medusa's that was lulling Percy and Annabeth.
Like, as much as I ended up liking the styling for show Medusa, you could have (through the Mist) given her sleek glossy hair in loose curls and put in the faint sound of hissing snakes in the background that Grover would be picking up on nervously. Put some sunglasses on her that could have purposefully clashed oddly with her anachronistic style. Then, when she reveals herself truly, the mist dissipates.
Just. Believe it or not you can convey mystery or intrigue or deception from page to screen. You could have used music to imply that magic was at play effecting Annabeth and Percy. There's just so much the show runners could have done.

ok ok ok so i feel like suo would be the type to tease you and make you cum multiple times without even penetrating you??? he'll have you posed in the most embarrassing positions possible and that just goes on for weeks. you've yet to see what he looks like underneath. he wants to see how far he can get you to beg. it's like youre some kind of toy at suo's mercy.
one day, he just has you on the bed-- face down, ass up, hands tied behind your back. he's eyeing down your panting body after your third orgasm. he smacks your ass. "you're so naughty, sweetheart" he says as he spreads your ass cheeks, watching both your folds and tight hole pulsing, clenching around nothing. "suo.... you're soooo mean..." you whine from the sheets.
this man plays so coy!! i just KNOW hes freaky in sheets!!! ngaanahahdnnshs
ANON. Anon, anon, anon.
Your mind’s so beautiful oh my god I see the vision. He’d be such a little shit when it comes to sex too—so willing to forego his own pleasure with his extremely pretty, fat cock painfully straining against his dress pants, just to see you squirm and beg. “‘Nother one, dove. F’me.” He purrs. Tortures himself that way too. Edging until he’s certain you’re absolutely spent. (With your express consent, of course!!)
And when he finally fucks you? It feels like you’re with a different man. Gone is the gentle Suo, gone is the polite and teasing Suo. You notice he’s not wearing his eyepatch when he’s got your ankles dangling by your ears, folded so obediently in a mating press, growling as he fucks himself into you with your bed creaking in protest.
You can’t walk straight for a few days, mind you. But that’s okay. Your Suo’s at your beck and call whenever you need him.

In Focus
Bruce Wayne’s annual gala was an event that drew Gotham’s elite from every corner of the city. Journalists and photographers buzzed around, eager to capture the essence of the night. Among them was you, a journalist with a knack for photography. You arrived early, your camera slung over your shoulder, and set to work, quietly focusing on capturing the perfect shots before the chaos of the evening began.
As you moved around the grand hall, adjusting your lens and snapping photos, you remained oblivious to the figure watching you from the shadows. Jason Todd, attending one of his adoptive father’s galas for the first time in years, found himself inexplicably drawn to your quiet dedication. While the rest of the press bustled noisily, you seemed almost serene, absorbed in your craft.
He approached you, curiosity piqued. “You’re here early,” he remarked, his voice a low rumble.
Startled, you looked up from your camera. “Oh, hi. Yeah, I like to get shots of the place before it fills up. Easier to capture the details.”
Jason nodded, a small smile playing at his lips. “I can see that. You’ve got a good eye.”
“Thanks,” you replied, trying to hide your surprise at the unexpected compliment. “Are you a guest here?”
He chuckled. “Something like that. Name’s Jason.”
You introduced yourself, feeling an odd sense of calm in his presence. “Nice to meet you, Jason. I’m a photographer and journalist. Mostly here to cover the event for the Gotham Gazette.”
He leaned against a nearby pillar, watching as you adjusted your camera settings. “Do you always get so absorbed in your work?”
You shrugged, focusing the lens. “I guess so. It’s easy to get lost in the moment, trying to capture the perfect shot.”
“I can respect that,” he said, his eyes lingering on you. “It’s rare to find someone who’s that passionate about what they do.”
His words struck a chord, and you glanced at him, curiosity evident in your eyes. “What about you? What are you passionate about?”
A shadow flickered across his face, but he quickly masked it with a grin. “Let’s just say I’m passionate about making sure people are safe.”
You raised an eyebrow, intrigued by his cryptic response. Before you could probe further, the first guests began to trickle in, signaling the start of the gala. You turned back to your camera, snapping photos of the arriving attendees.
Throughout the evening, you caught glimpses of Jason, always on the periphery, watching the crowd with a careful eye. There was something about him that piqued your interest, a mystery that you couldn’t quite unravel.
As the night wore on, you found yourself drawn back to him. During a lull in the festivities, you approached him, your camera dangling from your neck. “So, Mr. Mysterious, why do I get the feeling there’s more to you than meets the eye?”
He smirked, a glint of amusement in his eyes. “Maybe because there is. But some things are better discovered slowly.”
You laughed softly. “I suppose I’ll have to keep an eye on you, then.”
“I’d like that,” he replied, his tone sincere. “Maybe we can figure each other out.”
As the gala continued, you felt a connection growing between you and Jason. Amidst the glamour and chaos of the night, you found a kindred spirit, someone who understood the passion that drove you. And as you captured the evening through your lens, you knew that this was just the beginning of something special.
