no like actually i have mentioned this a few times, frank like NEVER talks about books or reading for a guy who has 'bookworm' tattooed on his knuckles. im like let me innnnnnn i want to knowwwww. it would be fodder for psychoanalysis.

anyway, the internet acts that way cause thats almost the only book we know of that hes talked about, and he did say its his favorite. but like not until after gerard said it was his favorite. hmmm.

The in between ones were beautiful, the bigger ones were hollowing out super thick and I didn’t really like the looks of them. I ignored my “If in doubt, don’t go out” instinct and swam out anyway. About 30 or 40 feet from the water line the bar had a ledge, this is what the bigger ones were hitting when they slabbed out. I got a couple of nice ones, then swam for this. If you look at the shadow of the wave as I’m dropping it looks really shallow, maybe only 2 or 3 feet but it’s hard to say. It looks like I air dropped a bit when this one threw, you can see my arm extending out in front as I land. I think I lost all my speed in the landing, and the lip sucked me up and over on the inside onto nearly dry sand.
