I am so thankful for all the people who decided to support this project and this comic I have started working on this summer, The Overseer. I will be honest here, I wouldn’t have decided to continue it if the reception wasn’t so great and if I wasn’t told to continue telling this story. Being my first time writing anything sci-fi, I almost sabotaged this project and on a few occasions cried myself to sleep because I had no idea why I was making it, giving the fact Sci-fi wasn’t always my thing.

So I am announcing an issue #2 , though I am not yet sure when I will have it done! Maybe stick around though, just in case! #scifi #comic #indiecomic

The other 2 alternative designs are for what I’m hoping to make , The Overseer merch (tshirts). Working on that too, but again. I still need to think this through.

This is how I got my happily-ever-after.

When the wayward heir of a grand duchy crosses paths with an impossibly handsome American chef, they experience un coup de foudre; a bolt of lightning, love at first sight. Unfortunately, River is NOT gay (he swears!) and Ro, heartbroken from a recent affair, has vowed never to catch feelings again. Happenstance keeps them colliding with one another—and falling a little more in love—until River is forced to contend with his closet door and Ro realizes he is too warm to have a heart of ice. Inheritance marries prose and art to create a graphic novel that leans heavily into the "novel" side of things. It is written and drawn for a mature audience, with heavy themes and, at times, NSFW. Reader discretion is advised.

🇲🇽 working on a story based in pre-colonial Latin mythology because not only is it my cultural background, but there's just not enough of myth fan art/expansion.

To introduce- we follow Cocijo here, who is the rain God (he has several names depending on the region- famously known as Chaac)

In my story, he uses his ability to make clouds and storms in combat.

In myth, he usually wields an axe and has 2 serpents with him- which I added on his poncho and come into play later.

Most Latin gods had animalistic traits but could pretty much take shape as they saw fit.

As one of the main gods, Cocijo here has jaguar eyes, ears, and feet.

Anyway, I hope you love the concept and character as much as I do 🌧🥹🌧

Project Announcement!

I am proud to announce that @withlovefromthecrowss and I are collaborating on this exciting project together! Feypocalypse is a queer, fantasy horror comic set in medieval England following the events of a Fey Apocalypse in the 1300s. It follows a group of knights trying to survive in a world that has been turned into a Fey hunting ground, whilst protecting the Changeling child they accidentally adopted. The current plan is eight issues, to be published on Patreon and then printed as a complete novel at the end! It will be written by myself and illustrated by my amazing co-creator @withlovefromthecrowss. I am so excited to finally be able to share this with you all and I hope you will follow along for the ride! I will be setting up a side account specifically for this project, so come and have a look!

bit of a tangent under read more, just my thoughts on the asks i've been getting. i get kinda heated ngl.

i've been having an influx of asks to donate to and share their gofundmes and i find a lot of them have sick families. it's not entirely the same, i know, but i know how it feels to watch a family member be horribly sick and have nothing to do or help but to tell them it's going to be alright.

so please, i beg of yall, share these around and donate what you can. if you can volunteer in any way that would support them then do it. do not stay quiet, never cease your resistance to those who want to silence gaza and palestinian people, not until they cease fire. share these gofundmes on every single social media account you have, to every family memeber who can share it as well or donate, put posters on the streets if you can, just do everything i unfortunately cant due to my situation other than reblogging their posts.

and to all the people in gaza who may see this, we do not stay quiet. you will have your homes and peace back and those you may have lost will have justice. that is a promise we will keep and see to fruition even if we have to reach it ourselves because those in power are blinded by their greed and the blood they splatter in their own eyes. you will have your justice and we will always continue to support you.
