#thinking out loud #was creeping a bnf who is no longer active and they had a post up explaining their indefinite hiatus #as is the case for many ppl fandom provided a place for them when they were struggling with real life #and through fandom they found a lot of friends #including their current SO #bc they were fandom posting on main and an old friend hit them up and they reconnected and they are now talking abt getting engaged #basically their conclusion was that they're moving on from fandom/internet to focus on life/school/career #good for them #but also...what about me 😭😭😭#not in the personal sense bc i was not in the same circle as this blog i just saw them a lot on my dash #it's that feeling i get whenever someone leaves my current workplace #like when will i feel ready to move on 😭 sometimes i still feel like the same person i was when i was 21 #when will i feel fulfilled enough to definitively say i'm ready to move on to the next stage in my life?#or have i already reached my final form and i'm gonna be like this when i'm 50?

#I always love seeing these kinds of things so decided to do my own slightly less aesthetic version #not included is all the random paracetamols ibuprofen pads tampons etc that I keep in the front pouch of my bag #this is pretty much what I’ll always bring #though sometimes I’ll forego my diary and bring my other camera too (the rollei)#the contents is:#empty film canister in case I finish the roll in my camera #spare film. water bottle (which I didn’t actually need today cos I went for a coffee)#everyday essential notebook that I carry everywhere with me #small creative writing notebook #leather pouch which is my wallet and also holds my keys #my diary. book I’m currently reading. Leica m3 #and a tote from daunt books which I got for free for having banter with the man behind the counter :)#and then the bag itself is a satchel from the leather satchel company #I love it very much #I don’t really own any other handbags cos either I have no bag or it can all fit in the satchel or I take a rucksack

Ngl the fact that the guidelines for shinigami eyes say that theyfab is not an anti-trans slur and thus not enough to mark someone as anti-trans and equates transmedicalist as being just as harmful as "tenderqueer" despite it claiming to support nonbinary people is uh. Yeah starting to kinda think this extension has overall been a net negative for the trans and queer communities and was always going to end up like this.

#the current mod is in the replies saying the (primarily) intersex identity afab trans woman is inherently transmisognyistic #and absolutely 100% ignoring anyone who tries to educate them even the ones being nice about it #imo you should be able to vet transphobes yourself and this discourages that which is dangerous #and the fact that you can get falsely marked and your ONLY option is to just hope you eventually get marked green #enough times that it flips is just. bro that's awful actually??#especially with how fast a red mark isolates you and makes you a target of harassment #I just think we should maybe move past this we dont need this extension #and I say that as someone who was once marked green and got unmarked around when I started #including intersex people in my trans activism and defended trans men and pointed out how #radfeminism is spreading in trans spaces at a horrifying rate #so yeah uninstall it at this point it's doing far more harm than good
