Lightbulb gets erased

Paintbrush drops to their knees, and starts sobbing

don't get me wrong, I am so so so so SO excited for more lightbrush in ii17, along with the emotional damage that comes with the highly probable angst that we're all probably going to be beaten to death with BUT nothing compares to how excited I am for the marshbrush reunion!!! I think we as a fandom all collectively forgot and or glossed over the fact that those two are supposed to be FRIENDS!!! And I can just TELL (hope) that tensions are gonna be HIGH because like, marshmallow left them without a WORD not a goodbye, not a see you later, NOTHING, and that really upset them!!! they were HEARTBROKEN!!!(/exg(probably)) Nobody even knew where she or apple were, and nobody would've guessed the weird creepy manor they visited once for a challenge! I'm just so excited to see what ii has whipped up for us on that one!!! I've been waiting for SO LONG to get this reunion!!! because of the red X imagery I'm gonna guess this one is called MePhone X. and if not, well I'm gonna refer to it as that until I find out otherwise

with how scary that moment was clearly intended to be, we can all agree that Toilet just got permakilled, right? like. despite not being in space? that was definitely. not anything good that happened to Toilet there. I'm just gonna assume Toilet's dead, yep that just happened. aaand now there's a seemingly murderous (although maybe it had a grudge against Toilet for some reason, but I find that unlikely) MePhone roaming around. n e a t .

thiiiiinking that thing is the exception to the "each MePhone we see is dumber than the last" rule that seems to be present. hm. wonder who the Big Villain is going to be

So, after the release of the episode 17 I’ve been thinking about and seeing people talk about what might’ve happened to characters we didn’t get to see. (Bot, Floory, etc.)

Now I’d like to add my own question in. What happened to these guys?

Like, aside from Apple and Yin Yang because they’re actually in the show. I don’t think we really see these other characters do we?

(Just to clarify, I mean in the universe of Inanimate Insanity, because irl most just went to other shows ((dictionary, TV, etc.))

Were they also “frozen” for a really long time like how the season 2 contestants were? Did they just, I don’t know, disappear after another character got in?? Did COBS notice them and have THEM erased too??

And it’s not like there’s a chance they could’ve not been made by Mephone right? Because there was a scene of Yin Yang getting killed in the same way everyone made by Mephone has been, and Apple was erased out of existence when they pulled the plug. So??

To go back to me mentioning some characters moving onto other shows, doesn’t that lean towards the possibility they’re not in the same universe if they’re not affected then??

I honestly don’t know. It’ll probably not be mentioned at all, but oh well. I just kind of wanted to give something to think about that I haven’t seen people mention!

Mediaposting 2023, #39 and #40: The Bear (seasons 1 and 2)

1: it is so good that most of the episodes of the show are only 30-ish minutes long because i think i would go insane if they are longer

2: season 1 is incredibly stressful the entire time and then season 2 is a weird mix where it is more long-term stressful (AND THE CHRISTMAS EPISODE IS. AAAAAAAARGH) while also having the fucking best single-episode character-focused slow burns

3: please for the love of god watch this show it does character arcs so well

4: i don't actually dislike [romantic interest in season 2] as much as a lot of other people seem to but i also dont really care about them. like they could have been turned into literally any other kind of distraction including an inanimate one and it still would have worked ok. idk they're just not that interesting lol

5: the cinematography of the final ep of season 2 is so good. the fucking freezer ying/yang scene w carm and richie. chefs kiss

6: i think the christmas episode is one of the best television episodes ever made

7: I LOVE YOU DUDE (starts sobbing)!!!!!!!

8: the fact that theres a 7-minute monologue in the same episode as a one-take 17 minute thing is so. god

9: i feel like i need to rewatch stuff bc they plant little clues everywhere and dont just Tell you things a lot but its all there if you're looking for it. its so nice to find another show like this where theres so much showing rather than telling. man

anyway yeah. watch this show. it has a lot of moments where things are visual metaphors but so many people keep misreading them on [insert social media platform here] and it drives me insane bc theyre obviously not literal. also some moments are wild and are obviously only there to push the story forward but thats okay i can accept it in this show.

also i REALLY appreciate that most of the cast outside of carmen/his relatives is not white and everyone is still written well. like sydney and tina being two of the most important characters in the show while also being incredibly well written (syd especially since she's one of the two main leads) makes me so happy. the rest of the supporting cast is absolutely fantastic too (MARCUS AND RICHIEEEE). the only thing i feel like im missing at this point is an ebra-focused ep bc he so badly needs one

Cause it yes... I hope they give a springy backstory and give him a redemption arc... just some food for thought

I mean I'd love to see suitcase beat the shit out of doctor fizz and knife literally pushing the camras off the cliff and heck if have sprinkles be adopted by light bulb while Yin say "WHY CHOOSE HER OVER ME" then yang say "I think he's still mad at you for yelling at him... and also for naming him sprinkles"

Also since the toy versions of the final three are ment to be like them what if the balloon bot sacrifices themselves...

For a pretty long time I didn’t have motivation to write anything. I had no ideas, no motivation and no desire. I guess it was a kind of a writer block…

But after watching ii17 I came up with more than TEN ideas for fics and I keep getting more ideas. AND I WANT TO WRITE THEM ALL. AND I WILL DO IT
