I'm going to re-watch this entire series again and write down every time Numbuhs 1 and 5 have a moment.
They might not be canon, but they live in my head rent free and won't leave.

Day 7 of @bucktommyfluffebruary will be posted here until I can get on ao3. But for now have 1k words of Love Letters/Letters.
This was inspired by my own Dear Maddie series that I am working on as new episodes come out. In that series, Buck writes letters to Maddie that he doesn't send. In this fic, Tommy finds letters Buck wrote after their breakup. He doesn't read all of them and he tells Buck right away so he is not invading his privacy. Just want to make that clear! So I hope you enjoy! Fic under the cut!
Sharing My Heart With You | 1K | GA | Bucktommy
In his defense, he didn’t mean to find the letters. Tommy had been watching the loft for Evan since he was away on special deployment. Most of the fire department had been called to help in an emergency and normally Tommy would have gone too. However, he had injured himself during a rescue right beforehand so he already had been off duty.
Tommy was going back and forth between his house and the loft, even though Evan said he was welcome to stay over. However, Tommy had some things to do around the house anyway so it was easier to just drop by, leave his boyfriend’s mail on the counter, water the plants, and then head back out.
On the way to Evan’s loft this particular day, he went over a particularly bad pot hole and ended up spilling coffee all over his shirt. Cursing his luck, he figured he would just borrow a shirt of Evan’s. He knew he wouldn’t mind, since they were about the same size.
He first worked on getting the stain out as much as possible in the faucet before throwing it into the washing machine. Evan had some clothes he hadn’t gotten around to washing before he left, so he figured he wouldn’t mind if Tommy just tossed it in with the rest.
Heading up the stairs to the bedroom, Tommy dug around in his drawer before finding a shirt. Putting it on, he was just about to close the drawer where he spotted a stack of letters inside. They were all folded up neatly and had his name on them.
Tommy wondered why Evan had letters with his name on them, and a part of him wondered if Evan meant to send these. But then why were they in the drawer?
His curiosity piqued, he opened the first one and noticed dried, crinkled spots on some parts of the paper.
Tommy,
I am so mad at you. How could you leave me like that? I didn’t think you’d hurt me this way.
Closing the letter, Tommy took a deep breath. He shouldn’t read this. Obviously from the tone, he wrote this when they broke up. But he couldn’t invade Evan’s privacy like this. If the letters were in the drawer, then obviously he didn’t plan on him reading them. Then why keep them?
His phone dinged and he looked at it, seeing Evan had checked in. Hey baby, how’s your day going? Just got a short break so checking in.
Hey! Just got to your place. Borrowed a shirt cause I spilled coffee all over me.
No problem! Although the fact that you didn’t send me a selfie of your naked chest is rude of you.
Tommy just shook his head in amusement. Funny.
Then he decided he should be honest with him. They had promised each other to communicate with one another better, so he decided to call him. “Hey.”
“Hey. It’s so good to hear your voice.”
“Yours too. Um, so when I opened the drawer to grab your shirt, I found something.”
Evan chuckled, “I don’t keep my toys in that drawer, though.”
Tommy blushed thinking of the last time they had some fun together. God, he missed him.
“Cute. Um I saw some letters with my name on it. I got curious and opened one.”
Evan was quiet for a moment before groaning, “Oh, I forgot about those. I, uh, they were kind of like a diary for me. I wasn’t going to send them. They were just for, like, a memory, I guess?” He winced. “I used to write to Maddie when I was traveling and it was cathartic for me so that’s what I…which one did you read?”
“The top one.”
Evan let out a hiss. “Sorry. It was written that night.”
“I’m the one who should be sorry, Evan. Not only did I invade your privacy, I made you cry. I’m such an asshole.”
“I mean…you were. But right now? You’re not because you called me and told me. I appreciate you being honest with me about that, baby.”
“Would you have been upset if I didn’t?”
“Maybe at first. You know, you don’t have to read them but if you want to, I give you my permission. Just…remember that all the things I said are the same things we discussed when we got back together, okay, baby?”
Tommy closed his eyes, just focusing on the tenderness in Evan’s voice. “I’ll try.”
“If it gets to be too much, don’t read them. Or just call me. Even if I don’t answer, you can still call me.”
Tommy had to admit, he was tempted but wasn’t sure he was ready to read the top ones, at least if Evan wasn’t there to remind him that they were stronger now.
Once he got off the phone, he took the stack of letters and decided to read the bottom one. He looked at the date, seeing it was from the night of their second chance first date. That night had gone much better than their very first date and they both had wondered if they were supposed to count this as their new anniversary.
It had been such a fun night and Tommy wondered what Evan said about it.
Dear Tommy,
Tonight was perfect and one of the best nights I’ve had in a long time. I told you I never stopped loving you and when you looked at me tonight, I could feel it in your eyes. You felt the same way. I’m so excited to restart our adventures together. I still want everything with you, but I am still scared to say it out loud again. To scare you off and lose you for good. I don’t think I could handle losing you again.
Is that how you felt about me the first time? I didn’t get it before, but I think I do now. You’ve seeped into every fiber of my being and shown me so much love. I missed it more than you could ever know. I know in my heart that I am yours and you are mine. We’re going to do better this time, baby.
I don’t know if I’ll ever send these to you. Maybe one day, on one special day, I can show you my entire heart. However it happens, just know the journey may have been painful, but it led me back to you.
I love you so much, Tommy. I’ve felt love before, but not like this. I’m going to make sure I show you just how much I love you and want you for the rest of my life.
Love, Evan.
Tommy sniffled, wiping his eye as he pulled out his phone. I read your last letter. The one after our second chance date. I love you so much, Evan. I cannot wait to spend my life with you. And I am going to kiss the hell out of you when you get home.
Can’t wait. Love you too, baby.

Thoughts on Squid Games season 2 (spoilers):
1. That Pentathalon was brutal and one of the hardest games in either season. Seriously if even ONE person chokes you ALL die and it is so easy to choke at games like that under pressure. Should have killed way more people tbh.
Also I have been obsessed with Gonggi since watching that episode. Don’t have the real pieces, but I’ve learned to do level five with dice😎
2. Gi Hun and Player 333 defender, y’all don’t get them like I do🙌
Player 333 ate when he stabbed Thanos, you go pookie🥰
Also Young Mi’s death wasn’t his fault😞
Okay maybe I just think 333 is cute💕🤭
Gi Hun making sacrifices to try to stop the games for good is not and never will be on the same level as the game makers running the games in the first place, wipe that smirk off your face Mr. Frontman😠
Also his plan wasn’t terrible, he just didn’t know 001 was the Frontman. Maybe he should have known they’d try something like that again, but he probably figured they thought they’d beat him when they took out the tracking device. He got so close to the control room and could have won if he wasn’t betrayed!
Gi Hun could have left it all behind but instead he willingly put his life on the line to try to stop the games for good!!! He’s not “playing the hero” he IS a hero!!
I mean I’m not saying he is perfect or makes all right choices, but he has a noble goal.
3. It breaks my heart how different Gi Hun is😢 he was so bright and full of life in S1, now he’s quiet and broken. Powerful character development, but I miss my wife😭
4. Didn’t really think of 457 as a ship while I was watching, but seeing it in the fandom… yeah it’s a good ship. Gotta love a solid hero x villain, and the idea of Jun Ho finally finding the island only to realize his evil brother is psychosexually obsessed with Gi Hun is hilarious😂 457 is a great ship name too.🫰
5. I miss Sae Byeok💔
6. Player 120 and Player 149 carried this season, I’m glad they survived and am excited to see more of them!
7. I feel for Dae Ho, but I don’t think I can 100% defend him purely because he should not have volunteered to go back for the ammo. Like his reaction is totally understandable and looked like a PTSD attack and I don’t blame him in the slightest for getting out of that situation. But let 120 go back for the ammo!!! She already volunteered and she had it!!!
Although in his defense the others really should have seen that he wasn’t in a good state of mind for that mission, so that’s on them as well.
8. Player 390 was the hardest death for me, he was a good dude and Gi Hun has already watched too many friends die😭 to know it was his plan that got him killed is so much worse too.

THOUGHTS ON (some of) SWEET TOOTH SEASON 3
Just my rambles. Also I only remembered sweet tooth existed 2 days before the third season came out so I quickly re-watched season 2 and then season 3 right after AND WHEN I TELL YOU I HAVE THOUGHTS ON THIS SHOW.
spoilers under the cut
Okay, I can't remember which order the episodes are so I'm winging it here and just word vomiting. in my defense my best friend is away camping and I have nobody to yap about this to so tumblr gets it instead.
The first thing I can remember is that whole thing with the bat kid. OH MY GOD. that poor kid man. it's so awful how his parents raised him to believe that what he was was unfit for society, below humans, and not natural. no kid should have to grow up like that. I don't completely blame the parents, but there were some very, very bad decisions made. and the fucking scene where the dad tries to cut off the baby's hybrid traits??? I got SO reminded of when Gus' antler was cut off. baby boy was mutilated. but the difference between the scene with the baby and gus was that nobody was there to stop it from happening. nobody was there to wrangle the saw out of that guy's hands. bruh. tears. I fucking hate it here.
also live laugh love Rani <33
uhh I dunno what comes after that so let's jump to the boat episode! *laughs nervously*
That. freaking. episode. broke me. I didn't even want to keep watching after that (lie) because it was just so incredibly awful. just when they walked onto that boat for the first time and It was dead silent? goosebumps. especially after finding that dead body. by the way, this is when I started to dislike Dr. singh. bro fell way off after Rani left. anyway, I did not trust Darwin AT ALL when he was introduced. I thought he was shady as all hell. Glad I was proved wrong in the end, though. not important. let's talk about those dead bodies and what Gus had to do because that is a whole rodeo.
I admit, when I first heard he was going to have to find and toss dead bodies overboard my first thought was 'FUCK yes trauma angst trauma angst trauma angst' because what can I say, it's how my brain works. it started off pretty chill, the deer boy doing some nice yardwork and tossing the flowers overboard. okay. this is fine. oh, shit, now he's found dead bodies. oh my god he's crying. oh my god i'm crying. MY BABY. MY BABY BOY, WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS TO YOU?! anyway that was probably the most fucked up thing I have ever watched in my life. kill me. kill me- and the fact that he kept all the people's little things as ways to remember them? what the fuck. what the hell netflix. why would you do this. he's just a little kid. I'm going to kill someone. ALSO I fucking KNEW Darwin was going to get sick. I was watching it with my little sister, and when he popped up I went 'bet you Gus is gonna look away and darwin's finger is gonna start twitching' then BOOM. also, that makes it so much worse. at this point I was like, how many more people is this poor kid going to to lose? WHY IS HE SO TRAUMATIZED???
hahaha. boy oh boy.
side note, why was Siana and Birdie actually so cute? I would've loved for their relationship to be explored more before... yk. and Nuka?? my baby. my darling. she means everything, actually.
wait what happens next?? idk
episode 7 time! or at least the end of it.
first of all, FUCK YOU DR. SINGH. I LIKED YOU AT THE START BUT NOW?.ALL THIS DESTINY BULLSHIT 'it's my destiny to kill gus' BRO YOU JUST SAID YOUR DESTINY IS TO MURDER AN INNOCENT CHILD?? WHAT IS GOING ON IN YOUR BRAIN. THIS IS WHY RANI LEFT. and when Adi was getting closer and closer to stab Gus, when he was screaming and kicking, I was actually going to vomit and cry. what the actual fuck. why is this show so incredibly messed up. it's not even funny. this is the most disturbing shit I have seen in a while which is saying a lot. the sheer horror of the things in this show once you start to think about it is insane. anyway before that whole thing I genuinely thought 'hm I think that blood on Adi's knife in the vision thing is actually big man's blood because he probably protected gus' and I was half right? I was not expecting Birdie to be killed AT ALL. It totally took me by surprise. once again, this show is so horrifying and sad. Gus crying over Birdie. i'm going to die. he's an orphan. why is this stupid world so mean to this kid?? he's turning into fucking Peter Parker for god's sake! I really, really thought big man was going to die in that cave. and imagine if he did? Gus would've lost both his parents AND his father figure in just a few months. I would've lost my mind. anyway. birdie's dead. jesus fucking christ. WHY. JUST WHY. NETFLIX, STOP HURTING MY BOY.
Alright, let's see if I can remember literally anything that happens in episode 8.
It was such an emotional rollercoaster fr. I felt like I was getting emotional whiplash every five seconds. he's gonna die! wait, he's gonna live! now this guy is actually gonna murder Gus! wait, now this guy turned good and saved him! holy shit, everybody is going to die- holy shit EVERYBODY IS DEAD! wait, Gus cut himself to bleed on a tree and now they're alive! oh my god, Gus finally snapped! wait, now his dead dad is popping up and convincing him to save people again! OH MY GOD BECKY IS DEAD! WAIT OH MY GOD SHE'S ALIVE! (I think that one was the worst) NO is big man going to die on that mountain?? oh good he's not! omg jordan actually died in the crash!
....there was no resolution to that one. good riddance. sorry Jordan fans.
and then we had the whole reveal of Gus being the narrator the whole time- how tf did I not predict that?? Also, am I the only one who doesn't like stuff that does those huge timeskips where it shows the main characters when they're old. is it just me who doesn't like it. okay i'll go
let's talk about Gus and Wendy for a second. honestly, throughout the whole of season 2 and three there was a little nagging voice in my head saying 'it's a boy and a girl interacting.... you know they're going to end up together' and I would tell my head 'stfu, I wouldn't really like that because there are no good girl boy friendships in any media ever that's completely platonic (mostly, anyway)'. I was hoping SO SO badly Wendy and Gus would stay platonic besties forever, simply because it's cute and stuff like that barely happens. praying to GOD. but I knew deep down it was hopeless from the start. I don't like when media does that. 'oh, look! it's a boy and a girl of the same age meeting as kids! OBVIOUSLY the only possible route to go from here is romance, RIGHT?' I mean i'm biased as a gay enby chronically online person who thinks these stereotypes are shit but it's true. don't get me wrong. I love wendy. I love her so, so so much. but just- WHY?! I was at least hoping it would be somebody we didn't know or something. oh well.
i mean, I guess they only held hands a few times and sat together as old people, so maybe there's a tiny little chance it wasn't romantic? but they also had grandkids. yk what fuck canon. they're old besties. I think they'd be cute either way but I just prefer them friends.
SO. the sweet tooth fanfic community. it's admittedly nonexistent. I went to check the tag earlier and like- what?? it's ALL weird shit. there was like three good ones but just like why Is that all of what's in our fandom?? guys, we have not done well.
I call upon all ao3 authors and encourage them write sweet tooth (if you want to). It doesn't even matter if it's a short fluffy or angst drabble, we just need to wash the weird shit out. go ahead and post that 200 word interaction you wrote between big man and Gus in the aftermath. we need more good fic in this fandom, DESPERATELY.
and why did the writers put Gus through so much. like his dad dies, he's captured, traumatized, mutilated, shot in the leg, shot in the back, traumatizedx100 on the boat, watches his mom get murdered to protect him, has his father figure almost die multiple times, has a scientist try to kill him with a knife while holding him down multiple times, fucking snaps, and idek. WHYYYYYY. WHAT DID HE EVEN DO TO DESERVE THIS?? WHAT DID ANYBODY DO IN THIS SHOW TO DESERVE ALL THAT HAPPENED TO THEM?????? man....
I think that's all that's in my brain? this wasn't really a review just me spitting words.
moral of the story, I have adopted Gus and that is that. if you managed to get through all this you have a longer attention span than everybody I know combined when they try to listen to me ramble so congrats lmao
and I know I only brought up a few things but don't even get me started on Zhang, Rosie, and her kids because I will not shut up. and Jordan. Jordan why did you do that. and Munaq, that poor guy. ANYWAY I gotta stop talking now cuz it's 9:45pm byeee

Things that went through my mind during The Acolyte episode 7
I had a feeling this episode would be another flashback episode.
Yay, more Kelnacca!
I love Torbin’s bit of attitude. I’m happy we get to see more of these character’s personalities even though they’re already dead in the present storyline.
Sol, stop spying on children and being creepy! And to try to break/climb into their home instead of immediately going to tell the rest of the Jedi he found people is a dumb move. He doesn’t know how many people are inside and how dangerous they are.
That being said, I understand him doing something dumb. It shows he has had character growth since the time of the flashback.
This show’s environments are not talked about enough. That shot of the sky was so beautiful!
I am so confused about what's happening with Torbin. Is Mother Aniseya communicating with him telepathically or something?
Yeah, she is definitely working some kind of spell on him. I feel bad for him, honestly, especially knowing he never recovered from this whole trip.
I hope we get some kind of book or comic that focuses on this coven. I’m really interested in where they came from and how they might be related to the Witches of Dathomir, and I doubt they’ll dive into all that in the show.
The twins being one consciousness in two bodies is such a cool idea. They really are leaning into the whole yin and yang thing.
“You may be their mother, but you are also our leader.” “Right now I choose mother.” That line just made me love Aniseya. Her love for her children is so evident.
HER TURNING HERSELF TO DUST IS SO COOL! At least she got a cool and heartfelt death.
The witches possessing Kelnacca is so creepy. A Jedi Wookiee coming after you is scary enough. A Jedi Wookiee possessed by witches is even worse.
Kelnaccca against Sol and Torbin is officially my favorite fight of the show. I like it even more than any of the fights from two episodes ago.
Are we not going to see Koril again? Or is she going to turn out to be Qimir's master? Because my bet was on Vernestra for that role.
I totally did not expect Indara to kill the rest of the witches to save Kelnacca from being possessed. Honestly, it’s almost the witches fault for them dying, in a way. They died because the Jedi were just trying to defend themselves. I’m not trying to discount the guilt all the Jedi feel after this night. Sol did still kill Aniseya, and a whole coven did still die. I was just expecting what the Jedi did to be a lot worse, like killing all the witches in offense instead of defense.
Only one more episode left. I really hope it’s not only a half an hour like they have been, because then it will feel really rushed. But I can’t wait to see Osha’s reaction to the truth of what happened.

Jazz for two
I'm so glad we got to watch this in a week because I don't think I could handle the weekly viewing. What a mess.
Let me start by saying that I read the source material and although that doesn't help at all, it's not why this show doesn't work for me. These are my immediate thoughts after watching. There will be webtoon spoilers.
Two things really bothered me about this adaptation.
First thing was the character of Seohon. This boy has absolutely no agency here and is submissive to every other character. The second is TaeJoon's (TaeYi's brother) storyline.
I could argue that these two things are connected by way of Seheon father. So here is the family background in the original.
-Seheon lives with his mother and not his father. In fact his father abandoned the family and that's why in the WT he can't play piano at home because his father was a piano player and mom doesn't want to be reminded of him. -Seoheon only sees his father occasionally at his office, he's a piano teacher, where he gets to play. -The father was TaeJoon's teacher and they got involved. He cheated on his wife with him. He was not homophobic. He left the family to be with TaeJoon. I'm not gonna go into why they broke up and TaeYi's brother commited suicide because there's a lot more characters that influenced this. Suffice it to say that in the end he was caught by someone else and basically left him.
So why they added the bully father is beyond me but I guess it makes the fact that Seoheon is so submissive more plausible. I can understand why they wouldn't want the dad and the brother story line here. But I don't get why they thought that adding the homophobic brother was a better choice.
I'm gonna echo @lurkingshan feeling here regarding episode 7. That episode made absolutely no sense whatsoever. None of it is credible. They both do a 180 in a matter of minutes. And because of the way they wrote Seheon here, it just makes him look stupid. I'm not gonna compare with the original because it really doesn't matter. It's just bad writing here.
If the main couple is rushed, don't even get me started on the second one. It's just not believable. They removed so much from their story that it just looks like Do Yoon has to be out of his mind to actually fall for this guy. And yes, the original is also a bully/victim romance, if anything he's even more violent, specially toward Seheon, so I'm not saying it's a good couple either way. But at least in the original Jun-Ha is multi dimensional and you can actually empathize with him in moments. Although I wasn't a fan of them in either media. And also this romance takes a while to actually happen so it's definitely easier to buy.
This story is full of traumatized and flawed characters. And I knew from the start that it would be hard to adapt into 8 episodes of 30 minutes. To do that they'd have to cut a lot and honestly I'm still in disbelief about what they chose to keep. All the character are so superficial so none of it lands for me. There's no emotional connection for me to grab on to. It's not enough to give a character a traumatic past. That alone does not a fully fleshed out character make.
Nothing about this story rings true for me and this is not a defense of the WT because that also is not perfect. It's way too long and there's too much shagging filler but I really liked the characters in it. They were much more complex and it all read much more believable. There's also a couple more characters that are pretty important in bringing the whole story together.
There's obviously a lot more things wrong with this but this is already long.
[If anyone else read the original and I made a mistake here please let know. I don't think I did but I've read it a while ago and didn't really wanna go back after watching it]

Hehehehehehe
Muehehehehehehe
Hehehehehehehehe
I'm sorry that you have to see me like this but this is the moment I have been waiting for.
It's time to SIMP for my BOI RICHIE
I have so many questions about him that I'm sure that it goes on from simple ones to scenarios! I prolly got more than 2 batches of questions for him!
So I need to get out the BIG GUNS for this one! I'm sure you met her before! I hope you don't mind!
Tumblr media
Forgive me if I went too feral starting from here, Please let me know if you got too uncomfortable, I'll tone it down! BUT IN MY DEFENSE-- /lh
THERE'S NO SHAME IN SIMPING PUBLICLY SHOWING YOUR LOVE TO YOUR SKRUNKLY!
Here we go!
What kind of kid was Richie in school? Does he get bullied?
I heard that he has a bad temper. Once he started to snap, would he be violent? Has his bad temper episode ever got him killing someone?
Can we still be reasonable and persuasive to him when he's mad? Is he easy to calm down?
Does he remember that he killed his father? Or was he experiencing dissociative amnesia?
What happened and where did he go after he burned down his house?
How abusive was his father?
He works on Accounting, but what kind of company does he actually work for? Is it a bank, a business company, an insurance company, etc.?
Is there a possibility that we could teach him how to say no without feeling bad for himself or someone else? As in, teaching him how to stand up for himself?
Has he gone to any therapy or anger management programs?
How does he feel about a clingy lover? Clingy as in very, very, affectionate--
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
--is he okay?
It's ok^^ I'm happy you like himxDD and sorry again that it takes me so long to reply back ;; w ;; ) I also really like these drawings🙈
1. Richie was one of those quiet ones who focused a lot on studying. He did get bullied but that also kind of stopped at some point when he lost his temper and fought back.
2. When he loses his temper he rarely gets violent.(this only happens if other person is violent/abusive towards him but even then he tries to keep his cool) he haven't killed anybody except his father (that was also more like a self-defense.)
3. He can since deep down he doesn't want to hurt anybody and calming him down is mostly easy.
4. He does remember what happened and that is also the reason why he tries his best not to lose his temper. He doesn't want to be like his father.
5. He left the area and moved to new place where the area is more calmer to get a new start.
6. If Richie didn't do what he told him to do or did something wrong his father punished him.
7. I admit this part I haven't thought much but maybe a bank?🤔
8. It is possible. It will take time when he learns to say no and not feel bad about.
9. He has needed but since he focuses too much on his work he hasn't managed to do it yet.
10. He doesn't see anything wrong about it. He's happy that someone likes him this much.
(I feel I was struggling with words again so I hope these makes some sense..xDD)

I would love to hear all the reasons you don’t ship Donna with Eric and don’t think they were right for each other because I totally agree and we’re such a minority! They want really different things out of life and I feel like Eric needs someone more romantic, supportive and loving than Donna is while she needs someone more unconventional and adventurous than Eric (I say this as someone who likes Eric but isn’t crazy about Donna, and she honestly seem to believe she was way too good for him)
Hi! Yes we really are in the minority here. I pretty much don't like them together primarily for the reasons you have stated. What they want out of life will take them in totally different directions, especially Donna. Donna is probably the biggest issue for me, and you can't exactly be a shipper of a ship if you simply dislike half of it.
Donna has always seemed like she thinks of herself as better and smarter than Eric, and is not afraid to disrespect and belittle him. She mostly says nothing when their friends put Eric down in order to prop her up. When there is a problem, he is primarily to blame before she can even think of apologizing for her mistakes.
She thought so little of him throughout season 3, specifically before the episode of their breakup. Main examples I can think of right now: interjecting and belittling him when he's trying to tell his friends a funny story, ditching him for hours after a concert night out and feeling entitled to do so, and her diary entry about wanting Eric to be, like, edgier or something, which led him to attempt to get a tattoo for her. It is Eric's fault for reading her private diary, and he should not have done it. But this specific point goes back to what you mentioned about Donna needing someone more "adventurous". Eric was not that for her.
These were the true feelings that she was yearning for, but chose to settle with Eric after her failure with "bad boy, exciting" Casey because Eric is safe and practically "worships" her, which naturally gives her the upper hand. I just think that's a horrible way to look at someone, in my opinion. At the end of season 3, once she was made to face the reality of being with Eric in the long term, she rejected the idea and didn't want to give him a real answer.
I don't think I need to talk too much about the crap in season 4. More belittling, more pettiness, vengeance (unapologetically slandering him in the school paper and then getting upset when she gets a taste of her own medicine), and rubbing Casey in his face. Eric wouldn't think to treat her the way she treated him. Yet he is somehow still the bad guy and in the complete wrong.
Season 5-7 were basically the same type of behavior. Season 6 brought back Mitch, which really brought some of Donna's worst qualities (ego and pride) in the way she treated Eric. Season 6, Eric ditches his own wedding, knowing this conjugal life will only fill Donna with regret. Imagine knowing that the person you love is going to regret spending the rest of their life with you. Just wow. Season 7 Eric seems to have grown disillusioned with his life and this shitty relationship and just left. I'm glad he did.
In the end, it was all a rollercoaster and while Donna and Eric had their (few) sweet moments, so much of it was overshadowed by these lame negatives for me. As for Eric, he threw himself into this relationship and made Donna his whole world to the point where he had no aspirations besides wanting to be with her. Naturally, this made him insecure, especially when he felt he was being left behind. This wouldn't have happened if he had some solid goals for his future, rather than just sitting around, smoking pot with his friends, and thinking of Donna all day. In Donna's defense here, I can see why her feelings about the promise ring were so hesitant.
So, these are my main reasons for not liking the ship. No matter how many years go by and I rewatch, this minority opinion remains the same.

Good morning! ✨🦄
From the 40 fic writers quest: numbers 3, 7, 12, 13 and 17, please! :3 (and feel free to skip any of course xD)
Thanks, Arja! Good evening to you c:
(fic writer asks)
7. Share a snippet from one of your favorite pieces of prose you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.
Ohh it's hard to choose a favorite, and this isn't necessarily like. Technically challenging, but the scene in Wander when Emma and Cullen finally reunite in Kirkwall always wrenches my heart out:
What had he intended to say to her? He couldn’t remember. He’d written it down. It contained an apology, he knew that much. And…some promises.  Looking at her now, he could only remember the slide of steel through her chest, the gasp of his name on her lips as she collapsed, the tears on her face when she’d come to him and he hadn’t known her at all.  His fingers were still wrapped around the hilt of the sword on his hip. He drew it slowly, so as not to startle her, and offered her the hilt. She was breathing quickly, and stared down at it without comprehension.  “Please,” he said. “Please.”  He held the blade for her carefully, and he let go at once when she took the hilt. Slowly, not taking his eyes from hers, he knelt on the ground before her. Not as he did in the Chantry, when he would brace his arms against one raised knee, as he had when he’d pledged his sword to her, but with both knees pressed against the hot stone in supplication. He left his hands loose at his sides, palms visible.  “What are you…?” she asked, voice shaking. She’d let the point of the sword droop until it was no longer pointing at him. He reached for the point and pressed it to the hollow at the center of his neck instead.  “My lady,” he said. “I have wronged you. I vowed to protect you against any who would harm you, to be at your side until you wished it otherwise, to offer my shield and sword and counsel in your defense. I have broken my vows, and so my life is forfeit.”
3. Is there a trope you wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole?
A/B/O. To me, there is nothing less sexy or compelling than biological essentialism :/
12. Is there an episode above all others that inspires you just a little bit more?
Hmm I'm taking this as scene instead of episode. I mean.....I'm a sucker for the romance scenes from any of the games, but the Fenris Act 2 scene is probably my favorite. There's just so much going on beneath the surface to unpack for both of them, and despite having written one extensive fic on it already I still feel like there's so much more to say. I think the fact that it, ah, doesn't go well makes it that much better for me.
13. What’s the best writing advice you’ve ever come across?
Done is better than perfect. Done can be edited, adjusted, or fixed, but if you're spinning your wheels 3/4 of the way through something it's really hard to get yourself unstuck. If you need to toss a "much later, when they arrived," in there to do it, it's still worth it. Sometimes, finding the endpoint helps you connect the dots in the middle that you would've spent hours agonizing over.
17. Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?
Haha well, per the advice above...When I have a really strong idea of what's going to happen and when, I will write start to finish (especially for shorter pieces). If I have one scene I can't get out of my head and I'm worried I'll forget what I was trying to do, I'll write that first and then backtrack to the beginning again.
The trunk scene in Wander was one of those (where Cullen finds all of his Inquisition things and tries to remember who he was), as was the scene where Salshira discovers she's Cullen's soulmate in To The Bone. (By contrast, I wrote Palimpsest start to finish in a haze lol. It's much shorter than either of the others and was following canon events, so it made more sense to just write straight through)

(I'm still in my Rick and Morty era, spoilers for season 5, seriously go watch Rick and Morty it's great) So don't get me wrong, Rick is a worse person than Catra, I mean he killed a lot more people than her (mostly in self-defense but still) but I do like how he's better written than Catra, which is why I like him more despite him being worse.
I do like how they consistently show that Rick does care about Morty, they do say that while that may be the case, it doesn't make their relationship not toxic...like one show *cough* spop *cough* but it's still nice to see.
We also get to see why he's such an asshole, he lost his wife and child, they were killed in front of him, he certainly is a horrible person, but I can definitely feel sympathy for him, he seems to insult Morty so he doesn't get too attached, Morty truly seems to be the only reason why Rick is even alive right now, as we can see that he does have depression and self-loathing, to the point were he willing sacificed himself so Morty could live, see spop? This is how you make a complex character that people can feel sympathy for without excusing their actions, many people call Rick out and one of his oldest friends, Birdperson left because of his toxicity, and one of the people he loved Unity, left because he was a terrible influence and brought out the worst in them. You can show a character that is a horrible person and complex, to the point where you feel sympathy for them.
Also, we actively see Rick attempting to change, not just in a throwaway line about how he's working on his anger, and then it was never even mentioned again *cough* Catra *cough* We see in season 3 episode 2, he turned himself into a pickle so he can avoid family therapy, but in season 6 Analyze Piss and season 7 Air Force Wong, we can see that he's actively going to therapy every week, despite not even respecting it before, showing his growth. Another example is the Vat of Acid episode (That's literally what it's called) in season 4 episode 8, Rick got mad at Morty and conducted a way for Morty to be forced to support an idea Rick had that Morty didn't like when Morty tried to critique it, Rick imminently became defensive, in Full Meta Jackrick (Great episode btw) in season 6, episode 7, Rick admitted that he messed up when Morty critiqued him. In season 6 episode 10, we again see him admit that he made a mistake and that he should've included Morty instead of just shutting himself off.
The difference is one of them is well written, not shown as an innocent baby who did no wrong, and is actively trying to change with good character development, one is an abusive, toxic, catgirl who was imminetally forgiven and everybody got forgot her war crimes.

Chapter 7 - The Furness Railway 21

James the Second Best (Season 10 Episode 27)

~
Edward was pulling the Honeypot on the Main Line, enjoying the scenery of the Island of Sodor, and chatting with the coaches. The Honeypot coaches enjoyed his company. It was only April yet the breeze felt warm and inviting as he went from station to station. It felt just like the old days when he was a really useful engine. He had just completed the delayed run up to Tidmouth and turned around for the next trip, having just left Knapford and heading to Crosby.
"For an engine pulling coaches for the first time in years, you're doing wonderful, dear!" praised the brake coach.
"R-Really?" Edward asked timidly.
"Absolutely!" confirmed the first coach. "You did say you were an Express engine."
"I did. I-I’m still rusty!" he insisted, only for the Honeypot coaches to reassure him that he was doing just fine.
As he and the coaches continued their trip to Crosby, James approached them from the other direction, having just passed Crosby. Edward was fully engrossed in his conversation with the Honeypot coaches that he didn't hear or see the other engine until…
"Edward!" James fumed loudly and quickly braked to a stop.
"James!" exclaimed the Honeypot coaches. Edward gasped, startled, and braked harshly, coming to a nasty stop.
"I can't believe it,” huffed James as his boiler bubbled furiously and he backed down on the line to see Edward's startled face. “But Philip was right! Engines like you cause nothing but trouble!
The Indian-red engine looked down. The lack of attention and respect broke it for James.
“You won't even look at me! Who do you think you are? And what are you doing with my coaches?"
"Your coaches?" exclaimed the Honeypot coaches in unison, offended as Edward looked away with a guilty face.
"We aren't even the slightest ‘your coaches’!" exclaimed the first coach.
"We are Molly's coaches!" followed the second coach.
"And even then, we're our own coaches!" followed the third. "Aren't we all?"
"Quite right!" they all chimed.
"And what was so important that you needed to do?" said the fourth coach.
"Warranting it necessary to leave us in a siding in the middle of nowhere!" said the fifth coach, the brake coach.
"It was Maron!" hissed the fourth coach.
"But still!" argued the brake coach.
The rest of the coaches glared at James, who was absolutely humiliated and stunned. "I-" He was beginning to lose his words. "I just needed to do something!" he scoffed, giving off a defensive tone.
The Honeypot coaches huffed at James. "Come on, Edward. Apologies for his behavior," said the first coach, with a stern tone aimed at James, to the foreigner, who had stayed relatively quiet. "Let's get going. We don’t want to delay any further."
Edward said nothing, still avoiding eye contact. He left James behind with two solemn whistles, quite the opposite of his typical bright whistle.
The tone struck James. Yes, he was upset with Edward but he hadn't intended to upset him as well. "I just wanted to look my best for the show," James said quietly. He followed Edward, backing down the track and quickly catching up to him.
"I just wanted to be part of the Great Railway Show," he mumbled meekly after a moment of silence.
"Eh?" asked Edward, caught off guard by the engine going backward but still refused to look at James straight in the eyes. "I thoucht-"
"I lied!" he exclaimed. "I was upset with you earlier. I'm sorry."
“For? W-Wis it because… I bumpit ye this mornin’?”
“...Yes?”
“Whit dae ye mean '...Yes?'” Edward huffed harshly, feeling hurt. “Ur ye mad at me, aye o’ naw?”
“No. I was mad because you’re…” He looked away, feeling silly. “...you’re red.”
Edward frowned but his eyebrows shifted his expression from offense to questioning. A sign to keep talking.
“Because… I thought…” James paused to word what he wanted to say properly. “I thought that I would have strong competition for the Best Decorated Parade!” He let out a sigh. "It's not like I'm participating anyways."
"W-Whit? Why?" he asked, flustered. "Did somethin' happen?"
"It's silly."
"No' if it's makin' ye upset."
He looked back at the other engine.
"Ye gettin' mad b-because I'm red is… silly. I-I think there’s more than w-whit ye're lettin' oan," said Edward with a hint of genuine warmth and comfort in his tone.
James stayed quiet and continued to look over at the engine as he thought about it. As they neared Crosby, James went into the tiny yard and used the turntable. Once he pulled in next to Edward, he finally spoke. "My sister was chosen for it instead of me."
"A sister? Y-Ye huv a sister? I huvnae seen another ye around."
"No, no! There's an engine who I consider a sister of mine."
"Och!" Edward's eyes perked up. "T-Thon's very lucky o' ye. Ye must be close wit' everyone else."
"Somewhat."
"Eh?"
James gulped. When they both left Crosby, he mustered the courage and asked, "Can I be honest with you?"
Edward was startled. "Uh… S-Sure," he replied.
James let out a heavy sigh. "I'm not that well-liked because of how I am. Unless I do my jobs with no fuss, that is."
"Why?"
"I'm not a very bearable engine," he scoffed. "Look at who's coming down the tracks, oh my, it's him! That's James, oh dear!" he sang in mockery, fully aware that the coaches, passengers, and crews were listening, especially the crews. It transitioned into laughter that dwindled quickly.
"Y-Ye cannae be thon bad o' an engine," hummed Edward. Then, he has an idea. "We got aff oan the wrong track. Start over?"
“Hm?”
“Us. S-Should we start over?”
James quickly hummed in agreement.
"I'll go first! Edward. Ma name’s Edward. Class 21 frae the Furness Railway. Preservit by the Furness Railway Trust. Ye?"
James didn't respond.
"Is somethin' wrong?"
"You're preserved?"
"It’s… some story," replied Edward, the hint of sadness going unnoticed as he quickly covered it up with a sly smirk. "...stranger."
"Och!" James puffed up proudly. "James, the North Western Railway's number five, at your service!" he exclaimed.
The Honeypot coaches groaned, which James had fully expected. What he didn't see coming was hearing laughter from the other red tender engine.
"What?"
"S-sorry, sorry! It’s jist-" Edward laughed a little more. "Y-Ye're a very funny engine!"
"Huh, I do have a thing for humor," James remarked smugly as Edward's laughter subsided.
"P-Pleasure to meet ye. Bytheway, s-sorry I took yer coaches. I should've askit first."
"It's alright. If you had asked later, the Honeypot would've been very late, so, if anything, thank you for doing that."
The preserved red engine became flustered. "Och, w-well, ye're welcome. B-But it was nothin'! I wis built for-!"
"Darling, don't be so modest!" exclaimed the first coach.
"Remember what we said!" followed the second coach.
"For an engine out-of-service for decades, you're doing wonderful pulling a stopping train!" piped the third coach.
"What are you?" James blurted out before his eyes went wide, realizing what he said.
"James!" scolded the coaches before muttering.
"Sorry, but at this point, I have to know! You said you're a preserved Class. I was friends with all the 21s, and I don't remember seeing you. You look similar to them though."
"I wis left in a sidin'," replied Edward.
"What?"
Letting out a sigh, Edward replied, "It's a short story. We huv time."
"You have all of my attention!" James exclaimed proudly.
The preserved red tender engine couldn't help but smile warmly. As they neared the Wellsworth Suspension Bridge, Edward hummed thoughtfully.
"It’s nineteen-fourteen. A railway wis lookin' for an engine s-someane could spare. The North Western Railway."
"This very railway?"
"Mhm, b-but they learnit aboot my behavior issues. They immediately rejectit the offer. T-they, the board, had enouch." Edward's warm brass eyes rose up and stared off into the distance. "I wis withdrawn and left in a sidin'. I-I stayit thare and watchit everyane else work until I wis found by ane o' my sisters. In yon early days o' the Amalgamation. She broucht the rest o' thaim in secret. But they, the board, found oot. I was relocatit again"
"So how did you get preserved?" James asked.
"A g-group o' campers. They found me. I didnae ken where I wis. I wis in Scotland. Then the Furness Railway Trust rescuit me. I-it took aboot a year but they restorit me. I steamit the first time this year."
"...what did you do for that to happen?"
"I-I wisnae a very nice engine," Edward reluctantly replied. "I’m the oldest o' my siblings. I wis… I wis overprotective o' thaim."
"But that's normal," said James, confused.
"No' me. I wis m-more aggressive than others…"
James eyed him wearily. "So… you pushing me earlier today wasn't you being aggressive?"
"Naw, naw!" he replied, offended. "The ship. I wis tryin' tae get oan the ship. T-thon didnae go sae well."
"Oh, right… Wait, then what are you still doing here?"
"I-I got lost at the junction. O-Oan the other side o' thon hill. Gordon’s Hill? Sae much goin' oan sae I went back tae Maron. I thoucht I could fine some-engine tae guide me."
James winced, realizing his behavior earlier hadn't made it any easier. But then he had an idea. "I can take you tomorrow! By the time we get to Vicarstown, it'll be dark."
Caught off guard, Edward gasped and for the first time, he made eye contact with James. "Really? But yer jobs?"
"My first job tomorrow is the Honeypot, so I can take you along with me and I'll drop you off at Vicarstown Station! There are no junctions after that station. Just go straight ahead and you'll find the Vicarstown Drawbridge, which leads you to the Mainland!"
"Och, thank ye, James!" exclaimed Edward, before gasping again. "Jobs. Thon's it!"
"What's it?"
"Ur ye a mixit-traffic engine?"
"Um, yes? Why is that?"
"Y-Ye could enter the new competition! The Mixit-Traffic Challenge! P-Pullin' passenger trains. Pullin’ guids trains. Headin' trains tender first. It's where smaller tender engines go tae compete!”
"I'm not small!" James scoffed.
"I-I ken! Ye get whit I'm sayin'? If yer controller hasnae chosen an engine, ye should ask him."
James hummed. A competition for engines like him? Now that could work! he thought as they stopped at Maron. By then, the sun had set and the night sky began to consume the dwindling sunlight.

You made egg-white omelets?" Sam muses as Dean puts a plate in front of him. "Yeah. Breakfast of Champions… you know, if you're a dork like you." He does not offer me one, he already learned I have a coffee for breakfast. The only thing that can tempt me are pancakes… I lean on the counter sipping my "breakfast" and listen to the conversation between the Winchesters. By now, I'm used to being ignored by Sam and Dean knows better than to try to talk to me before I have at least one coffee in my system.  Seeing them like that makes me remember how much I miss my sister… "And you slept past 7:00?" "Yeah, well, until we get answers on this Mark of Cain, I am on a 12-step program not to backslide." "12 steps?" I glance at them, intrigued to hear about those steps myself. "Yeah!" Dean starts. "Hey, if Cain found a way to live with it after going dark side, then I just got to find a way to keep it in check. So… I haven't had a drink in a week, eight hours of rack time every night, and...now this masterpiece." He points at the plates on the table. "That's three steps." Sam states. Well… they are actually four… he didn't mention the women… "Shut up and eat." Dean is quick to reply. "Wow. That's… that's awesome." I hide my smile behind my cup, of course Sam would like that kind of "food". "It's crap!" Dean exclaims and I'm not able to hide my laughter this time. He glares at me and I raise my hands in defense, almost spilling the remaining of my coffee. "Ugh… God!" He grumbles in frustration. "Soon as we get rid of this demonic tramp stamp, I am back on the booze, burgers, women and… more booze." Here it is… I huff to myself going to the kitchen's door. "Tell me you got something." I hear him pleading to his brother before I walk into the mainframe's room.

It's around 3am. when I walk into the library on my way to the bunker's door. The boys are asleep on the couches. Sam is out cold with his laptop on his lap, his head slump on his shoulder. Dean is sleeping on the other couch, an open book on his chest. I slowly pick the laptop from Sam's legs, setting it on the table and drape the blanket sitting next to him over his sleeping body. Then I go to Dean, picking up the book and finding some paper to mark the spot he is on before shutting it up and putting it next to the laptop. I grab a blanket and gently drape it over him. He takes my hand when I tuck the blanket over his chest. "Emi?" He asks sleepily. I glance down at him, surprised by the nickname. His eyes are closed and he is apparently asleep but he is gripping my hand tightly. I carefully run my fingers through his hair and he relaxes, his grip on my other hand loosening enough so I can pull it away. I quietly go up the stairs and out of the bunker.
"Ema, we are going out." Dean pokes his head through the slightly opened door of the bunker's mainframe room. "We'll be back in a few days. Am… you have fun with this mess, I guess." I just glare at him and he leaves the room laughing. He started calling me 'Ema' and sometimes even 'Emi' a few days ago, after that night in the library, but only when we are alone. I think he isn't even realizing he is doing that.
The prior weeks were calm. The boys have not been on any cases and were buried in research going through The Men of Letters archives. They never told me what they were looking for but I already knew it anyway. I have done the same thing myself after I realized the prophecy is real. I went through every book and every document available in The Order's headquarter in Prague. And then I repeated the same process with the one in Tokyo. And there was no information about The Warriors of The Fates except that those are chosen families meant to rise in the time of great need… and the fact that those warriors are destined to die, sacrificing themselves. But with all my research I was not able to find a single name or a single story about such sacrifice. The truth is, that there was a time I didn't believe any of this. But then, small things started happening and proving time after time that this prophecy is legit. I had 15 years to accept my destiny and I had gone through every phase. I know now that it is inevitable.  But seeing them trying to fight it makes a little spark of hope flutter in my chest. I even make my share of searching for more information about the Mark of Cain in The Order's systems. I found nothing new… as expected.  I have to kill this hope!  I know better!  I can't afford to be distracted!
The boys are now leaving to meet with Castiel after an emergency call. Castiel is an angel… I don't know why I'm surprised that they have an angel for a friend. The angels are not usually hanging around with humans but if someone is going to have an angel friend that would be the Winchesters.

"Is ketchup a vegetable?" Cas asks. "Hell yes!" I answer without hesitation. We are sitting in a diner after he had called us with some urgent matter.  It turned out to be that Clair, the daughter of his vessel, had dodged him. "How are you, Dean?" "Fine."  He tilts his head in disbelief.  "I'm great!" I try to lie again. Maybe if I repeat it enough times I will believe it too. "No, you are not." He simply states. He has always been able to see through me. "Yeah, well, I lost the black eyes, so that's a plus. But I still have this."  I pat on The Mark on my right forearm. It is barely visible under the sleeve of my shirt but I don't need to see it in order to feel its calling. "Is The Mark of Cain still affecting you?" "Cas, I need you to promise me something! If I do go dark side, you have to take me out!" "What do you mean?" Cas asks me with concern. "Knife me. Smite me. Throw me into the freakin' sun, whatever. And don't let Sam get in the way, because he'll try. I can't go down that road again, man… I can't be that thing again." And I'm not going to let Emilia die for this either. If I can keep her far away from this, maybe she will be ok.  She never told us what would happen to her except that Sam is supposed to kill her after she kills me.  And right now, I think he would. I think he might try it even before that… "Dean…" Cas starts "There are things that the angels can not be involved with. And the destruction of The Mark of Cain is one of them." "Of course you are." I sigh with frustration. "Stopping me is a job for A Warrior of The Fates, right! I'm tired of this bullshit!" I slam at the table. "Wait! What? How do you know about The Warriors of The Fates?" I forgot that he doesn't know about Ema. "Well… because there is one back at the bunker. And she claims that a prophecy has told her that she is going to kill me when I lose control of that fucking thing again." I spit the words angry with the situation. "Wait! How do you know about them? Sam and I have been trying to find any information about them and there is nothing. Nothing on them, nothing on The Mark, just nothing!" Castiel hesitates for a moment before starting to speak. "The Fates…" He starts "They are a special division in the angels' ranking… Do you remember the Titanic incident with Balthazar" "You mean those Fates!? That were killing innocent people!?" "It's… kind of complicated…" He hesitates again before continuing. "When the religions are saying that God has a plan for everyone, they are partially right and completely wrong. Think about God as a writer. He writes stories and in every story, there are main characters and some side characters. Some of those stories are not completely finished. There are some… plot holes. Sometimes God has made some small mistakes in the story, sometimes he just got bored with the story and abandoned it. The job of The Fates is to fix those stories so they may continue. And most of the time they do it without too much trouble. But there are cases when God has not entirely abandoned the story but has written himself in a situation without an obvious solution. For those cases The Fates are allowed to use additional characters. Since the beginning of time they have used special family bloodlines for this purpose. They protected them, nurtured them and bred them, so they could create the ultimate saviors. So they can use them when there is no other option. In fact, it seems your family is one of God’s favorite stories or you are one of those warriors. You check all the marks - the firstborn of two strong family lines." "So my life is just a badly written story? Is that what you are saying?" I yell at him but he says nothing, his eyes full with sympathy.  "But why there is no information about any of those warriors? If they are the ultimate saviors, why has no one ever heard about them?"
"Because… God didn't like anyone but him to create the main characters. The Fates found a loophole. They created those saviors but they always had to die executing their missions or soon after that. And no record of their actions was ever preserved. Even the prophecies that they receive are enchanted so no one could ever know about them, so no one would ever believe them. There are some rare cases that people believe them but if that happens the records are always destroyed and they are lost for history forever." "So those people have no choice and they save the world and nobody knows about it!" "They always have a choice! Of course they do! God gave mankind free will… But I never heard of anyone refusing their calling…" "Is there any way to stop it?" I ask "Is there any way to prevent her from dying?" "No..."
"Dean?" I'm on my knees in the middle of the living room. The smell of blood is stuck in my nose. My hand is gripping the handle of the knife hard.
Tumblr media

"Dean. Hey!" I recognize the voice of my brother. He is kneeling in front of me, his hands gripping my face, his eyes searching. "Tell me you had to do this!" He pleads. "I didn't … I didn't mean to." "No! Tell me it was them or you!" He is begging for an explanation, for me to have some logical reason. But I have none. I had lost control. And he knows it. And that terrifies him. "Not a word to Emilia." He looks at Cas and Cas nods. Emilia… she will need to do her job really soon.  And I can not allow that.  I need to control this better.  I need to find a way to save her.  She is not dying because of me.  She is not just a minor character in God's broken story.

TIME FOR THE BROTHERHOOD ASK GAME! ⚔️🌑🛡️
1. Who is your favorite brotherhood member and why?
2. Who do you think is the oldest?
3. Who do you think is the youngest?
5. If Adira had an animal companion, what animal should it be?
6. What are some post series headcanons you have?
7. What are some pre series headcanons you have?
11. How do you think they met?
12. What have you named Hector’s animals in your mind?
13. What is an unpopular opinion you have about the brotherhood?
14. Do you think the brotherhood should continue with new members?
15. What are somethings you wished we could have learned about the brotherhood in the series?
17. When did you enter your brotherhood phase?
18. What is a cool headcanon that you liked from someone else?
Thanks for the ask!
I gotta say Hector. He's just such a complicated character and I love how he is an antagonist (not a bad guy!). Plus his undying loyalty and unique character design are other great qualities of him as well!
I HC Quirin is the oldest simply because he seems the most mature to me.
I HC that Hector is the youngest, but only by like a year. I don't really have a specific reason why, just my gut feeling.
Ooh, this is a hard one...I would think some kind of bird. I imagine she'd like a companion that could travel easily with her, but can also be independent without her.
Some post series HC's I have are Hector, Adira, & Quirin having a good moment together (having lived through that finale!). Also that Quirin and Varian visit the DK frequently to help them out and visit their family. Also Edmund finally having a good talk with the Brotherhood and expressing his gratitude to them.
Pre series HC's would be Hector having a partner he was dedicated to, but left for his assignment to the Great Tree. It's just something I can see him doing and I like the angst of it haha.
I HC that the Brotherhood met as orphans that got trained. They all had talents as warriors so they got promoted to the Brotherhood.
In my fic I've named Hector's bear cats Nyx and Delia. For reference, Delia is the nicer of the two (and the one that let Shorty on her back on the Great Tree episodes) and Nyx is more defensive and harder to befriend.
I think all three of the Brotherhood have dated each other at some point. Also that them being an OT3 is a big possibility.
I do think they should continue the Brotherhood, but change their purpose. Until the DK is restored, they need an elite force to help out with getting the DK back on its feet. After that it could be more of a ceremonial thing or a way to pass down traditions rather than be an actual fighting force.
Honestly ANYTHING. I'm still upset they hardly interacted with one another. -.-
Soon after I finished the series. When I started looking for fanart I found Pennumbra, Mo, & Xannerz's art and it was all downhill from there.
I really like a lot of Pennumbra's HC's about Hector, especially from his time in the Great Tree. Just the idea of him being out like that and alone for so long and how it would have affected him. It really fascinates me. Specifically, after getting back to civilization how he would struggle to eat sweets or anything with a lot of flavor.

Episode 7: The Spies...plural.
So spy number one is Elia Kane, and I’m seeing a lot of speculation on who else is the spy, given that the title of this episode is plural.
Further proof that there’s a spy within the Mandalorian ranks is that Gideon knows that Din no longer has the darksaber and Bo Katan does, even though she only acquired it from Din very recently, and only in front of other Mandalorians.
So the way I see it, the spy:
Must know that Din gave Bo Katan the darksaber
Must have some reason to work with Gideon, even if that reason is just money or blackmail (aka, Gideon has threatened to kill their family or whatever).
Let’s go over the candidates, shall we? Feel free to add/refute proof.
Tumblr media
The Armorer
Why she’s the spy:
left before the ambush
she has horns on her helmet, and so does Gideon. (personally, I don’t get this?? tbh seems like most people think it’s her over vibes, and they don’t like her).
The horns on both helmets indicate they are probably supporters of Gar Saxon and/or Mauldalorians so they...want to destroy the rest of the Mandalorians? (I don’t get this either. Like I could buy the Armorer being Rook Kast, but what motivation does she have here??)
It was her plan to gather all the Mandalorians on Nevarro and take back Mandalore, and during the ambush Gideon makes a point of saying “Thank you for gathering all the Mandalorians in one place,” which could imply that the gathering was his plan.
shock value I guess since that twist would come out of nowhere for a lot of people
Why she’s not the spy:
She left the battle to bring wounded back to the fleet....But no one knew there were going to be survivors there? So what was her plan to leave before the ambush if they hadn’t found the survivors? Wouldn’t it have been much easier to just not volunteer to go on the mission?
The information Gideon learns from Elia Kane is that the Mandalorians, including Din Djarin, have prevented the pirates from taking over Nevarro. If the Armorer is the spy, why is Gideon learning this information from Elia Kane and not the Armorer, who obviously knows that the Mandalorians defended Nevarro since she was there?
Gideon also hired the pirates in the first place, so why would the Armorer support the defense of Nevarro if she was working for Gideon?
What motivation does she have to betray the other Mandalorians to Gideon? If it’s because she’s a cult leader who doesn’t want to lose her power, how would leading her incredibly loyal group into a trap help her keep power? If she’s a hardcore traditionalist Mandalorian, why would she help Gideon, who orchestrated the purge? I don’t think she needs money and I can’t think of what blackmail could possibly make her help him. So...no motive.
The survivors on the planet’s surface
Why one or all of them are the spies:
The audience doesn’t know them well enough to really trust or distrust them, but the other characters do trust them, and it would be a huge slap in the face to be betrayed by what they perceive as their fellow Mandalorians
How did the group survive on Mandalore all this time and not realize there was an Imperial base at the Great Forge? Where are they getting food? Are they perhaps trading Bo’s group to Gideon in exchange for their own survival?
They led the group straight to the Forge where the ambush was.
They immediately identified Bo as the leader, and probably figured out she had the darksaber by the time they reached the Forge. They could thus pass that info on to Gideon before he makes his statement at the ambush.
The wounded could be a Trojan horse—they’re not actually wounded, and the Armorer is accidentally (or purposefully I guess if she’s also a spy) bringing an assault team directly onto the ship.
Why they are not the spies:
I like the idea that some Mandalorians survived. But my feelings aren’t really proof.
It’s not really suspicious that the survivors know where the Great Forge is given its importance, and since they do say anyone who tried to explore never came back, it’s possible that they genuinely didn’t know about the Imperial base, and their group was small and sneaky enough that Gideon didn’t notice them either.
If the wounded are actually an assault team, why would Gideon send them and a fleet of TIEs? He’d blow up his own allies. (Or maybe he does plan on blowing up his own allies. He is an Imperial, after all.)
Axe Woves
Why he’s the spy:
The show has kind of portrayed him as a bit antagonistic to the other protagonists of the show
We see in his opening scene that he’s a mercenary, and the show seems to be trying to imply that this makes him...not honorable somehow?
Possibly the show is trying to imply that Axe’s loyalty is determined by credits rather than anything else.
He knows that Bo has the darksaber and could thus pass that info to Gideon.
His motive would be that he doesn’t like Bo Katan and wants her out and/or Gideon paid him money.
He left the battle before the ambush.
Why he’s not the spy:
Seems genuinely upset about the Great Forge being destroyed. Can’t see him working for Gideon, who is at least partly responsible for that.
It would kind of undermine the arc of him learning to get along with Paz.
He did leave the battle early, but Paz is the one who points out the crack in the ceiling Axe uses to escape. If this was planned, then Axe probably would’ve been the one to point it out.
If he is the spy and that’s why he left the battle early, he basically left some of his teammates to die. Which seems out of character, but then, this season hasn’t done great with character development.
Someone else on Axe Woves’s team (Koska? Someone whose name we don’t really know yet?)
Why someone else on Axe Woves’s team is the spy:
Many of the same motives I listed for Axe. Might be pure mercenary rather than loyal to other Mandalorians, might see this as a way to get rid of Bo, etc
Also knows that Bo Katan has the darksaber
Why someone else on Axe Woves’s team is not the spy:
For story purposes, it makes a lot more sense for the spy to be someone the audience actually has a name/face for so there’s more emotional impact. The only character on Woves’s team besides Woves himself that the audience knows is Koska. So I mean, maybe. (But given that the actress has expressed she’s not coming back, I’m guessing they wouldn’t give her character that pivotal a role? Or maybe she said that because Koska is the spy and will subsequently be killed next episode. Idk.)
Some of Woves’s team were part of the scouting party. So if someone on the team did betray them, they also betrayed their teammates. (I mean, if they are pure mercenary with no other loyalties than money, they might be fine with that.)
All of Axe Woves’s team (they’re all in on it):
Why the whole group are the spies:
same reasons. Don’t like Bo, do like money, know that Bo has the darksaber
Also don’t like CotW and this is a great opportunity to stick it to them
If the entire group are collectively betraying Bo and Din’s covert, then that removes the issue of giving a specific name/face to the traitor since Axe and Koska will suffice
Why the whole group are not the spies:
Some members of the team went with the scouting party. If the whole group was in on it, the ambush would have been the perfect time to reveal their true colors.
Paz Vizsla
Why he’s the spy:
Idk why he did it but since he’s in cahoots with Gideon that means he’s not actually dead he was just faking it and he’s totally alive and Ragnar’s not an orphan don’t look at me 😥
Why he’s not the spy:
This is not the way.
I’m pretty sure he’d rather die than help Gideon and, well...
Brendol Hux:
Why he’s the spy:
“It was me. I’m the spy.” callback from the sequels that Favroni are so desperately trying to prop up with this show
Why he’s not the spy:
This is crack please don’t do this it would be SO BAD. Keep Apollo far away from this post
IG-12/Someone on Nevarro
Okay this is a bit of a stretch, but hear me out.
Why someone on Nevarro is the spy:
The Nevarro citizens are in close proximity to the Mandalorians and know that Bo Katan’s group arrived. It is possible that from watching the Mandalorians they know she is the leader and not Din, and could then pass that info on to Gideon.
OR
We know that he has spies on Nevarro at least as of season 2. Remember how mechanics (that Greef trusted, I might add) planted a tracker on the Razor Crest last season?? Do we have any reason to believe those guys aren’t still working there or that they aren’t still working for Gideon? Does Din or Greef even know that’s how Gideon found Din last season in the first place?
Gideon has used trackers to follow Din before. What if there’s one in IG-12?
Anyone on Nevarro, including those mechanics, could have possibly planted a tracker/bug in IG-12 in exchange for money.
It would be a Doylist reason why Grogu has to go with the group beyond “the cute moneymaker must be present for all plot points.” Grogu/IG-12 needs to come so the tracker can also come and Gideon would know the group was heading toward Mandalore. Grogu and IG-12 are also in close proximity to Bo Katan and if there’s any kind of listening device in there it would be easy to determine that Bo is the leader now
Imagine the angst if Grogu or Din found this out
This really wouldn’t help Din’s droid aversion, would it
Why someone on Nevarro is not the spy:
The episode is structured in such a way that Gideon gets the info from Kane before Grogu gets IG-12. It seems a stretch to think that Gideon could have gotten someone to plant a tracker so quickly.
Once again, if they’re going this route then there’s more emotional impact if the spy is someone the audience knows. And while we do know about the traitorous mechanics, I bet pretty much the entire audience forgot they existed. We don’t really know any Nevarro characters besides Greef, his droid, the teacher droid, and the Anzellans. So besides the mechanics our candidates are...
Greef Karga
Communicates regularly with the Mandalorians, probably knows that Bo is the leader.
Gideon is the one who hired the pirates that attacked Nevarro in the first place. Perhaps this is a Lando/Bespin situation and Gideon has agreed to leave Nevarro alone in exchange for Greef betraying the Mandalorians?
In fact, taking this one step further, consider that it appears Gideon planned to wipe out the entire scouting party...except for Din, Greef’s friend, who Gideon explicitly wanted taken alive. If Greef made a deal, could part of it be that Din be spared? (And presumably Grogu??)
Maybe that wine gift was laced with sleeping drugs to keep Din from going on the mission lol
Greef’s droid:
Idk the droid seems nice and like it just wants to do its job of helping Greef. And it saved Grogu from Terminator IG-11. I don’t really know enough about the droid to draw any conclusions on a motive.
Teacher droid
You leave that droid alone they’re trying their best
Anzellans:
could want revenge for Grogu’s squeezies
would be in the perfect position to plant a tracker
Anzellans are probably too cute to be evil
In conclusion...
Yeah I have no idea. My best guess is the Mandalorian survivors or my Nevarro mechanic theory.

Dragon Ball Super 120
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Beep beep buweeeeep!”
“Lord Mosco says that this crappy robot gestalt is just like how Caulfila and Kale combined together to fight Goku, and therefore this episode is mathematically just as cool as the Kefla fight.”
“Oh, why are these people booing?!  Don’t they appreciate the way I push my glasses up my nose in every scene?!   It’s as if Universe 3 were somehow ‘hella mid’, but that simply can’t be accurate!”
Tumblr media
So the field is really thinning out now.  Universe 7 has six fighters: Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, 17, 18, and Frieza.  With the most active fighters, they are currently in the lead.
Tumblr media
Universe 11 has done absolutely nothing for the past nine episodes.  They remain at three fighters: Jiren, Dyspo, and Top.  Despite having the fewest fighters, they remain the team with the greatest advantage in power, thanks to Jiren.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, Universe 3 is somehow still in this thing with five... ahem... fighters: Dr. Paparoni, Biarra, Koitsukai, Borareta, and Pancéa.  They all look like trash.
Tumblr media
I’m not convinced that Paparoni even is a fighter, since we never see him fight.  the implication here is that he built/upgraded several of his teammates, and he’s only on the team so he can directly supervise them on the stage.  That’s stupid, since the other teams can receive instructions directly from their respective gods, like when Belmod and Helles telepathically contacted their guys, or when Champa and Beerus scream at theirs.
So Paparoni chooses this moment to make his big play, and sicks his four robot warriors on the U7 team.  I guess this is sensible for two reasons.
First, U11 has made it clear that they plan to sit out the rest of this tournament and clean out whoever’s left standing to win it all.  They won’t interfere, so U3 has a clear shot at U7.
Technically, U3 doesn’t need to beat U11 at all, since they have more fighters.  All they need to do is eliminate some of U7′s team, take the lead, and then run down the clock.  So despite Jiren’s fearsome power, Universe 7 still has the target on their back.
And actually, when I put it that way, this makes U11′s stand-around-and-wait strategy seem smarter than I gave it credit for.  The less active they are, the more obvious it becomes for the competition to attack each other.
Tumblr media
There’s just one problem with that, and it’s that attacking Universe 7 is a really tall order.  Everyone’s been trying to take them out since this thing started, and no one’s gotten very far.  Paparoni sics Biarra on 17 and 18, and they just... defeat him.  I mean, it takes a little while, but the fight’s incredibly simply.  Biarra’s whole thing is his defense, but 17 and 18 have unlimited stamina, so they just keep attacking until they wear him down.  Biarra was expecting them to tire out first, but it never happens.  So they throw him out.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile... ugh, these things look like shit.  Also I’m pretty sure they weren’t this big before.  Anyway, Koitsukai, Borareta, and Pancéa attack Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan.  But Gohan insists on fighting all of them by himself, so that Goku and Vegeta can be fresh for the endgame.  Also, these three dopes suck, so I feel like Gohan should be able to handle them on his own.
Tumblr media
They do all this computery shit where they analyze their opponents’ moves or whatever, but it doesn’t matter, because they look incredibly stupid.  Universe 3 is supposed to be the high-tech robot cyborg universe, so why are all of their guys so crappy looking?  They should have a T-800 endoskeleton in this thing.
Tumblr media
This is like the Sigma Force from GT.  Oh, I just made myself sad.
Tumblr media
Goku’s like “That’s my boy!” Awww.  Well, that’s one cool thing about this episode.
Tumblr media
Anyway, once 17 and 18 eliminate Biarra, the U3 gods order Paparoni to execute “Plan X”.  Goodness, what could this secret technique possibly be?
Tumblr media
Yeah, all three robots combine to form a bigger, worse-looking robot.  I saw this coming a long time ago, when that one robot looked like a platform with big legs, and the other one looked like a toroso with teeny limbs.  The only thing that surprised me was how the combined form has arms sticking out of the sides of its head.  It just looks so damn stupid.  It really is the Sigma Force all over again.
Tumblr media
So Goku and Vegeta jump in to help, and they keep “Koicéareta” busy while Gohan charges a Kamehameha to take it down.  Then they corner Paparoni and demand his surrender.  The one saving grace here is Vegeta’s smug little grin after they win.
Tumblr media
But Paparoni refuses to give up, and he activates his ultimate ultimate technique!  Hint: It also sucks.
Wow, Dr. Paparoni did not have the cure I was thinking of.  I guess I need a second opinion from... Dr. Love.
youtube
Wait, Universe 3 should have had the evil KISS robots from “Phantom of the Park”.  Those guys were badass.
