One of the things that pisses me off about MWIII and the lead up to it so bad is that whole "Oh I wasn't in the tank" thing around Graves.

Because it takes away from my success as a player and its just dumb.

But more importantly because Activision for some reason decided to play it like "Look at Soap being so dumb thinking he killed Graves, isn't he a ridiculous little man?" while Graves is given the "strong survivor" treatment by them.

Soap took out a tank.

Without dedicated gear.

He survived multiple assault teams while at it too. Not just survived, he took them out as well.

And then blew up a tank with nothing but some C4 to a point where no one in it could have survived.

Like he did that and you're telling me Graves wouldn't be fucking afraid of running into that guy again? If being in a tank can't save you from his wrath you're telling me he ever felt safe around him?

Nah. No way. We deserved to see him flinch the moment Soap enters the picture. To keep to the other side of the room. Trying his best to work with anyone but him.

Soap is unhinged and highly dangerous, or he would have waited for his chance to piss off instead of fighting that thing but he gets treated like instead of letting loose of his anger over the betrayal he was just a big dumb dumb and everyone else was in on the joke.

Like fuck man. That also means the player is seen in the same way, like you thought you just won a cool boss battle? Oh you stupid little player, that was for nothing and we're gonna take that feeling of success back. Games don't need to be gratifying, do they?

How about multiple chunks of lines. how about all the little variations that arise in the text with it's many endings, item descriptions, text that comes from interacting with the enviroment, and character info from the menu without having to boot up the game and go through it at long minutes!!???

well i sure did😊 Since I do a lot of fanart and think up my own silly theories and thoughts that need me to reference the game lines a lot, i have made a transcript for it for convenience's sake. A weirdly thorough transcript handwritten and proofread by me including all character lines available in-game. And I'm sharing it with you all today for anyone that wants it !!! :3 To use as a reference for creative fanworks or a quick search for a line in-game, whatever you wish to use it for!!

It uses the english translation of the game by vgperson. So naturally all credit for the game lines available in here is to her and Parun who made the game.

I did my best to organize it in a way easy to digest. Do note that I'm still human, and there's still the chance for mistake in it no matter how much I've proofread it, since I'm not even an english native speaker ^^. But I hope it serves you well nonetheless if you wish to use it.

5 times. As of today, I've read Project Hail Mary 5 times, and each time, I've happy-cried at the ending.

It's one of those endings that really makes me feel emotional. After a lifetime of fear, fear of being rejected and fear of dying, Ryland Grace makes the decision to sacrifice his life to save his best friend. He had the option to turn around and go back to Earth; nobody would have known. He could have lied about everything, and lived his life as a hero back home. But it was his love for Rocky, his best friend, that made him face the fears that always controlled him and turn the ship around.

Then, he lives quite a number of years on Erid. The high gravity deteriorates his bones, and likely shortens his lifespan by a lot, but he stays. He had the option to leave safely years prior, but he chooses to stay. Even after finding out that humanity survived and Sol has returned to full luminance, he still isn't sure about leaving. Maybe he will one day, but not right now. Because he has people he cares about, and Erid may not be where he's from, but he sure as hell made it his home.

I'm going to sob again. If they change this ending in the movie, I'm going to STORM out of the theatre and never look back.
