YAY OC ASK TIME!! I actually answered this on the app and tumblr poofed it. So im going to reanswer the questions again lol. Its going to be a long one so BUCKLE UP CUS HERE WE GO!

If they were an animal what animals would they be?

Sephtis would be a black cat 🐈‍⬛, Izara a bunny 🐇, Benny an otter 🦦 and I have really introduced him to the blog yet and gotten into his character, but Dante would be a dog 🐶 specifically a Jack Russell

2. Do they have any siblings? hows their relationship with family?

I love this question and I will get more into detail with all of my ocs in another post or in their character page (when i create one :3)

Sephtis has an older sister (three years older). They both have a good relationship with their mother, but a terrible one with their father. Their dad actually cut ties with them because they are both (according to him) "a disgrace to the company and family name" he ended up giving the company to their cousin because neither of them wanted to inherit their fathers company, nor cared about his business lol. Their father was never really there for them, their mother practically had a facade the entire marriage & fought so much for Seph and his sister to live "normal lives" as nepo babies (lol) they were pretty popular in school because of their bg which they hated. Their parents divorced Sephs senior year of hs and at that time is when his dad cut ties w him as well.

Izara is an only child. She has a good relationship with her parents. They're more on the traditional side & older people, so sometimes they dont see eye to eye, especially when she was in Junior High & High school. Izara's interests concerned them (literally just regular interests teenagers have that freak out ethnic parents bc they need theyre becoming demons or some shit lol) also didnt like that she loved art and wanted to be an artists/art curator. Eventually though, they understood that they cant control what their daughter does with her future and that is all up to her ( I think they left her alone more so because they realized she is successful in her art and modeling career).

Benny is the youngest of 4. He has 3 sisters. His relationship with his parents was really shitty growing up, sadly. He is gay & hes known that for his whole life. Having 3 sisters and being the only boy, he loved to play with dolls. His parents being very religious, seeing him play with dolls, was not something they liked. Even if he was just playing with his sisters. In school, he was bullied. There was name calling and rumors that spread around about him. His parents hated the rumors and name calling not because it hurt Benny, but because it makes them look like bad Catholics. Benny truly only had his sisters and other female friends by his side throughout school. It wasnt until high school where things seemed to change for the better. This especially were better because he had Sephtis. His parents have come around, but they def took their time to finally accept their son.

3.Where are they from? do they speak another language?

Sephtis is from Osaka, Japan (Mt. Komorebi) then moved to Los Angeles at age 4 (Del Sol Valley). He speaks English and Japanese!

Izara is from New York (San Myshuno), shes Ethiopian-American. She speaks English and Amharic.

Benny is from Quebec (have no idea what sim world would be considered Canada lol) He speaks French & English

What's their biggest (stupidest) fear?

Okay so Sephtis & Izara are afraid of movie characters LMAO Sephtis will forever be afraid of Kayako (The Grudge) movie he watched as a kid with his sister that scarred him as a child ksfkksfks. Izara specifically does not like the older Godzilla (model?? costume??) she thinks its ugly and creepy as fuck like literally nightmare looking ass creature. IS THIS NOT JUST CREEEPY TO U???

Ok I wouldnt say Benny's is stupid....hes afraid of bugs specifically roaches. I mean logically, hes bigger than them so he can step on them and kill them, but he just finds them super fucking gross that he cant bring himself to do that lol.

Favorite music genre/artist?

Sephtis' fave band is BUCK-TICK, Fave genre is Rock (I'll keep it broad because he loves a toe=ne of sub rock genres).

Izara's fave artist is PinkPantheress! For groups, she likes New Jeans, Aespa & Perfume (yes she listens to kpop/jpop). Fave genre is pop for sure!!

Benny's fave band are the cranberries!! fave genre is also rock, but he prefers alternative rock!!

Okay well, I want to share a little about Seph and Benny's relationship rq!! So they went to the same high school. Sephtis is a year older than Benny. Their paths didnt officially cross until Sephtis' senior year and Benny's junior year of high school. They met one day after school when it was raining, Benny didnt have an umbrella but sephtis did :) thats all ill say for now :3

so! as i said in another ask, this is a fic following sirius (and regulus, later) starting hogwarts as walburga’s obedient heir, only to end up in gryffindor and learning that life isnt quite the way he’d been taught. his revelations and his sorting end up causing tension at home in the yule holidays, and a series of events end up with regulus in gryffindor too. im sure we can all imagine how that one goes. i posted a snippet in the other ask here

7. french epi fic

HA okay i love your guess, but— well, actually, youre closer to the truth than you might’ve thought. sort of.

regulus has just escaped his parents’ clutches and moves across from france to the one place he hoped he might be welcome: sirius’ home in england. its set in yorkshire, because thats where i grew up before i had to move away, and i miss it :( regulus’ english is poor as it is, but meeting sirius’ ridiculously attractive housemate, james potter, muddles his brain enough where the few basic greetings he knew were gone

james has epilepsy (thats where the ‘epi’ in the title comes from), remus gets them all free donuts, and sirius refuses to flirt on behalf of either james or regulus with the other. its chaos, its fun, and im enjoying it so far despite only being a few thousand words in. here’s a snippet:

Regulus slowly set his eyes back on the house. “It’s so big.”

Seeming to finally catch up on Regulus’ surprise, Sirius explained, “Effie and Monty helped us get on our feet, but with what Alphard left…”

”Mon dieu,” he breathed. But this time, it wasn’t at the house. It was at the man stepping out of it.

Stood at the front door, one hand shielding his eyes from the sun that had emerged from behind the rain clouds, was the most beautiful man Regulus had ever laid his gaze upon. His dark brown hair was tussled in a mess of curls on his head, but almost like it was purposefully messy rather than just uncontrollable. Round golden glasses sat upon his bronze skin, framing his chocolatey eyes perfectly, and a wide grin pulled at his mouth and revealed a little dimple on his left cheek.

When Regulus was eventually able to tear his eyes from the man’s face, his breath caught again at the sight of the rest of him. He clearly worked out, if the muscles making his t-shit stretch were anything to go by, but he wasn’t tall — perhaps only a couple of inches larger than Regulus himself, and he reached only a measly 5’7. Something shining in the sun caught Regulus’ eye, and he saw a thin metal bracelet on one of the man’s wrists.

”Hey, James!” Sirius called, climbing out of the car and snapping Regulus out of his trance. He’d made it to the boot to pull Regulus’ suitcase out before Regulus had even managed to open the passenger door.

”Padfoot!” James called with just as much enthusiasm — that was, far too much considering they lived together and had presumably seen each other just a few hours ago before Sirius had left to pick Regulus up. “And mini Pads!” he added, spotting Regulus finally getting out of the car.

Regulus shot him a swift glare for that nickname. He may be cute, but looks could only get him so far.

this is another ive covered in another ask but i love it so im still gonna talk about it. youre exactly right, by the way — it is a hmt sequel! i guess the naming conventions were similar enough ahaha. its very james-centric with background storylines, and focuses on much heavier themes than those in hmt. i wont go into what they are, but anyone who was around during chapter… four? five? i dont remember, but it was early on. i added some tags, then took them away once i decided id split it into two parts. if anyone remembers those tags, that’s what twoya will cover :))

14. sirius is actually helpful for once wtf

this is planned to be a shorter fic, but still multi chapter. its pretty much just sirius shipping jegulus and doing everything he can to get his two favourite people together :) not written yet, but ive got a fair bit planned so far

okay so, i would love to say i’ve worked on this some more since then but… i haven’t :( i really want to, but i want to do it well, which i know will take a lot of time. but, the details i have so far:

its the snooker world championships. regulus black’s first, but james potter’s third. sirius black — former world champion — is the estranged brother of the newbie regulus black, and the mentor and best friend of james potter, who was second place two years ago, but couldnt compete last year due to an unrelated injury, though healed up now. james, of course, is head over heels for regulus. regulus, of course, pretends hes not pining madly for the boy who stole his brother. sirius, of course, pretends hes not offended or hurt that regulus wont even try to fix their relationship. he also just happens to be stealing glances at remus lupin, who came fourth last year and seemed rather close to regulus. theyre all hopeless, and determined to win.

As a french speaker, the charisma check of a froggy frog Lae'zel would probably fail tbh. But it makes me laugh to imagine her accent being 100% harsher and the words mispronounced. They really missed a comical opportunity.

Buuuuuut in french to say "my love / 🐸 my joy 🐸" you can say "mon cœur" which means "my heart". ( Coincidence? I think not!) I can almost imagine a scene where it's softly choked in a bloody pointy ear at camp after a scary fight. Almost. So just for that I can admit it can be cute. (Want more french lessons? I saw briefly the translated version of the game, it's... an experience. They translated SH literally, it really brought out the cringe I probably should've felt in English but didn't. I find French accents incredibly endearing, not particularly attracted to them, but theres something about them i just love. An obscenely french Lae’zel would make me lose my shit, and honestly, it would fit her. I've always had the hc that lae'zels accent is waaayyy more prominent than in game and that she mispronounces words more frequently. I mean, shes probably never had to speak common to anyone before the nautiloid, how would she know how some words are pronounced?

Otto has both gold and silver jewelry that he switches between to better suit his outfit but NEVER mixes. Bennett only wears one piece of jewelry, the ring Otto gave him the night they ran away together, which is gold ring with an emerald, which is, of course, both of their favorite stone :)

11. what do they have in common with you? how are they different? would you get along with them?

Bennett's backstory is really similar to my own. Lonely Weird Girl doesnt understand why she cant connect to other people until she realizes Hes Actually A Man. Bennett also has a problem with simmering in his resentment and while I've been known to do this I have been trying to get better about it. Unlike Bennett, who is quiet and to an extent calculating, I am a Loudmouth. I don't think I would get along with Bennett unfortunately despite crafting him with so much love and so much of myself put into him. Perhaps In a world Where I met him instead of Otto, he would be a different man, one that I would get along with, but i much prefer him and Otto being fucking insane at each other :3

Like Otto, I sometimes let whats going on in my head get the better of me. Unlike Otto I try not to be such a fucking cunt about it. I would NOT like to hang out with otto cause hes a rich pretentious piece of shit. Love him tho

13. what languages do they speak? how fluently?

Otto fluently speaks English, Swiss German, Italian, and French. Bennett speaks English fluently and is passable in French.

23. how would you describe their voice? can they sing?

i know exactly in my brain how they speak but i dont know how to describe it hahaha

Bennett is non-hrt so his voice isnt very deep, but he tries very hard to sound masculine. he has a problem with mumbling, especially after his accident. i think when he does speak up his voice is rather pleasant, so long as he's not being an asshole. Bennett refrains from singing, his vocal range is in an awkward place because he refuses to sing the upper register, but he cant hit the lower notes.

Otto's got a kind of husky(?) voice with a rather flat intonation. speaks very slowly, sort of melodious. and obviously he's got a german accent. I think Otto would have a beautiful singing voice if he ever trained in such a thing but he wouldnt and thus sounds amateurish and often off key. he has fun though.

34. how would your character describe themselves? it doesn’t have to line up with how they really are.

Otto would call himself a gentleman (yeah fucking right). He'd use words like "elegant," "educated" "cunning," "stylish," "extravagant." He probably thinks of himself as a Ruthless Apex Predator. He thinks he has excellent Taste, and thinks of himself as very handsome.

For Bennett, it truly depends on When you ask. These days he'd probably use words like "Oddball," "pensive," "snide," "witty," and "tech-savvy." (that last one is questionable but i'll let him have it.) He'd say he has a "good eye." He'd probably refer to himself "delicate of manner," and "small", but warn you not to underestimate him.

resending this so i'm really sorry if i miss answering anything from your reply rip jdksdj but hi again dreamy, hope you got better 🥰 it's refreshing looking at someone take it seriously though, most people lightly answer it and, even though i like hearing all kinds of answers, it tell a lot about the person too i believe! i feel like i'd also pick someone who has good survival skills/is a fast learner over someone i'd have to worry about on top of being stranded on an island and thinking about food, shelter communication etc.! then maybe a spare change of clothes? they can be used as bandages, to keep warm if it's chilly/cold & you can alternate between that and what you're wearing instead of sticking to the same set of clothes you arrived in haha as for my final choice, hm... maybe transceivers? something that can help us get in contact with people who can help as i think you can always use wood/leaves/bones as tools/weapons! that is a lovely combination of colours too⏤i immediately imagine a room/interior when people tell me their favourite colour/s and yours is a lovely mainly black/dark grey + whites room with rose gold + slight mustard accents; very elegant & chic! i myself like neutral tones a lot :D but these days i'm into deep greys, muted blues/lilacs and gold! oh and i just saw the languages ask, i must've mixed things up, my bad! but i see, did you learn korean + italian or grasped it/grew up with it? i think english is the only langauage i can say i'm 100% fluent in kdjfdalk but other than that i can speak arabic, enough french and korean to be able to get by if i were to be randomly stranded in the countries, an embarrassingly small bit of chinese despite it being my mother tongue and a teenie tine amount of turkish and swedish. my maternal grandpa knows like 8 languages and he'd speak to us in all of them ever since we were younger so we started understanding a bit of each & my uncle's entire family speaks swedish so we like asking our cousins to speak it 😂 do you like travelling/is there a place you'd like to travel to? oh, and! what's your favourite dessert? - 🌨

I know that in an interview the young justice (TV) show person gave which languages he thought Dick could speak which were “Robin speaks English, and can get by in French, Spanish, Italian, German, Japanese and Mandarin Chinese, at least. (link)”

Obviously we know that he can do a sign language (link) in the comic but I don’t know whether they ever clarified whether it was ASL or another sign language (ASL seems logical though)

I know for Damian I reblogged a headcanon post on which languages he is best at (link) (which were English, Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Urdu). On panel he speaks Cantonese in the prelude to RRAG comics (the one that was like. at the end of a robin issue where he fights ghosts). He also says he can speak French and German in Batman Incorporated. He understand Spanish in Robin: Son of Batman #2 in the flashback scene ( he understands what oraculo is telling the kids when its in the < > brackets and earlier in teh comic they say thats spanish)

For Babs I think we see her speak French, Greek, and Chinese (writers did not say which Chinese language/dialect) when Savant is talking to her on the phone. in azrael 29 she says she took spanish in high school

I assume that Bruce specifically CANT speak Russian because in the KGBeast follow-up plot they made a point how everyone in Russia was interacting with him in English and they made sure to send Batman someone who spoke English, and I assume if he spoke Russian the writers wouldn’t have bothered doing that.

bruce speaks Japanese in Batman incorporated 2 and Spanish in 3, he speaks portugues (clipped but antiquated) in batman 472. he also speaks farsi in death in the family, however he’s doing so to get around lebanon, so it is possible the writers meant to have him speaking arabic and just didnt know what the official language of lebanon is.

Bruce speaks SPanish in ‘tec 404 and uses sign language in batman 222

superman (clark kent): Mandarin Chinese (talking to Kenan), japanese (action comics 760, COIE 4) russian (superman 1987 53 AND adventures of superman #599) . in superman 54 he says 1 thing in german and then thinks “That pretty much exhausts my german”. superman says 1 line of spanish in action comics 668 without clarifying how much he speaks. he also seems to understand a phonecall in Spanish lois has in superman: the man of steel #3. superman speaks and reads spanish in adventures of superman 610 superman seems to not be able to speak french but may have amnesia. he doesnt know his name but does know dinosaur names, possibly indicating he has some skills. (action comics 671 ). superman has a conversation in arabic (adventures of superman 619)

First day of B day was amazing, my English 4 class was amazing, I wasn't afraid to interact with them for our "get to know you bingo" because none of them knew me so I knew they didn't instantly hate me like at my other school.

On the bingo was "someone who knows at least 2 languages" we had 2, technically 3 kids. I say technically 3 cuz everyone counted me as speaking more than 1 language since I'm currently learning 6. I'm not fluent or even proficient but I'm still learning- one of which... is Swedish...

It gets better.

There's a kid in my class who's from Sweden... and speaks Swedish as a first language (he also speaks French fluently, his mom is from France and dad is I think from Russia, he grew up in Sweden), and his English is really good.

Well when I got to talk to him and he puts his name on my bingo paper he starts talking to me like "So you're learning Swedish?" Because when I introduced myself (that was one of our activities), I included me learning 6 languages, listing them being Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Swedish, and Icelandic.

I was like "yeah but I can only say 1 sentence and it's about my cat-" so he asks me to say it- I was nervous cuz.. talking to a native speaker while just learning the language is nerve wracking but he seemed proud of me and I did it right!

He was also telling us about Sweden and its history, I asked if it was true it's one of the safest countries for the LGBT and he confirmed that, also confirmed that certain parts of the year it's still day light when it's supposed to be dark- I had so many questions I feel like I was overwhelming him or something

He also confirmed that Swedes are kinda shy so you heard it here folks- lmao-

Anyways- 2nd day of school down, 1st day of my second set of classes, and it was amazing! 1 teacher doesn't care if you're a few minutes late and only makes you get a tardy slip if you're 30 minutes late cuz the school is gigantic and stuff

I cant Imagine learning so many languages at once, i can't even stay focused enough to learn one lmaooo But It's cute that the swedish Kid was so encouraging!!

It being day light When It's supposed to be dark reminds me of Here as Well. In the height of Summer it can be light Out Til Like 9-10 PM and in Winter it gets Dark between 4:30-5 pm lmaoo

I'm glad to hear school is nice so far. I Hope it stays that way!

My days been a mess lmao Family stuff ykyk. But It's Not my First rodeo with that so i'll be fine dhdhfbf i'm also counting down the days til Christmas cuz my best friend will visit for 3 Weeks! Shes coming all the way from Trinidad and im excited!
