The thing I dichotomously love and hate about SW fanfic is that people use relative-earth time to age things- as if earth even existed in the SW timeline. (I.e: "you are like Aphrodite" - what species is a Greek? "Have you ever heard about WW1" - you mean like the knights of the old republic versus the first sith upriring? Or--?)

It's called star wars and shot almost like a documentary/war film BECAUSE ITS BEING BROADCAST LIKE A DAMN HISTORY CHANNEL MOVIE ACROSS TIME AND SPACE TO US and that means it's FROM THE PAST.

All we see of stars is their dying light.

Star wars is millions of years older than our Galaxy.

You just think it's futuristic because we suck at evolution and social development as a species.

if they ever made a star wars / once upon a time crossover I WOULD watch it but I would hate every second of it. OUAT was only good for like 2/3 seasons if that. but a smaaaaall part of me wants to see this now.

If they actually made a star wars themed OUAT spinoff, I would fly out to California and break every Dianey executive's knees with a cast iron skillet before self-immolating on one of their green screen backlots.
