y/n loved his curly hair. it was her favourite part of him. the curls that would fall on his forehead, and that would reach his nape where she’d always wrap her fingers around when they kissed. it brought her peace. it brought her comfort. it made her feel loved.

with the 2024 season over, and a few months before 2025, their entire group, or rather, lando’s friends had all planned a trip around the world, and she was his plus one.

it helped that everyone liked her.

almost everyone.

lando’s ex girlfriend, though they’d only hooked up now and then, and were never exactly dating, it was still easier to say “ex girlfriend”, was a mutual friend, and a part of the friend group. so, of course she was coming on the trip as well.

lando was civil and respectful with her. y/n had seen it. and, she trusted him too. she knew he wouldn’t do anything stupid, if not for the love he had for her, then the fear he had of her. it just made her love him more.

lando’s ex girlfriend noticed everything. she didn’t want to. she wanted to enjoy her own vacation. but she didn’t miss the way lando insisted on carrying his girlfriend’s bag, or buying her cute little stuff, or always holding her close. she didn’t miss the way lando demanded they click cheesy, couple pictures, and was kissing her every so often, and keeping her wrapped in his arms.

he spent time with the boys as well. of course, he did. yet somehow, he always gravitated back towards his girlfriend, like if she wasn’t around him, he was losing oxygen.

she had noticed how his girlfriend had a ring on her ring finger that lando always played around with, as if he’s dreaming of their future, how his girlfriend touches his face so often, how she comes up with fun ideas for the boys to do, and plays around with hats and glasses, dressing lando up and taking pictures. she noticed how lando always followed without hesitation if she ever wanted a picture.

she noticed how lando’s girlfriend played with his hair all the time.

lando’s ex girlfriend couldn’t understand why. lando hated having his hair touched. he hated it when someone ran their fingers through his hair or just held onto them and pulled a little during sex. his hair, somehow, was always off limits to touch, to feel, to experience.

it was when the entire group had had lunch in a park somewhere, sitting on blankets laid out over the grass, and food containers every where that she finally had the courage.

lando laughed with everyone, making jokes and teasing and laughing. the stayed laying against his girlfriend, his head against her chest, as she sat. no one said anything, no one teased him. it baffled his ex girlfriend on how that was possible.

what confused her even more was the fact that his girlfriend was picking out flowers from around them and setting them in his hair. just adding all the fallen flowers into his hair, running her fingers through his hair, wrapping her finger around his curls, touching his hair. why was she touching his hair?

it was when the boys had fallen asleep, and almost everyone had fallen asleep except a few that his ex girlfriend finally said. no one was paying attention to them, no one was listening to them, so it didn’t hurt to say.

“y’know he doesn’t like getting his hair played with,” she said.

y/n looked up in surprise, her hand freezing in his mass of curls. “really?”

“yeah. i was never allowed to touch his hair before.” she didn’t know why she said it. she wasn’t jealous of y/n. she was happy for lando, she truly was.

“oh. i don’t know, i’ve always played with his hair and he hasn’t said a thing to me about it.”

“always?”

“yeah,” y/n shrugged. “it was during one of our first few dates and we’d ended up lying on the couch, watching a movie. we’d both had tiring days, and we just wanted to be together at that time. i was playing with his hair, he didn’t say anything, and i continued,”

“that’s never happened with me before. he’d get so mad every time i tried to touch his hair,”

“i think it could have a lot to do with how his hair makes me feel? i don’t know. i never found it an issue,”

sometime during the conversation, y/n’s hand wasn’t touching his hair, wasn’t caressing it. lando stirred, muttering a soft, “baby, hair.”

it made y/n smile, that he needed her to keep her hand in his hair, and that it wasn’t something he allowed her do.

his ex girlfriend watched the whole interaction, though, small. she watched y/n’s face lighting up, and running her fingers through his hair again. she watched as lando’s face relaxed, even in sleep.

“he really loves you,” she whispered.

y/n smiled at her, “yeah, i think so. good thing i love him too, huh?”

she chuckled, “yeah, good thing, definitely. i’ve never seen him like this. i suppose that was the difference between the two of you and whatever happened between him and me.”

y/n didn’t respond. she stared at lando’s sleeping face in her lap, his arms wrapped around her hips, and her hand in his hair.

oh how loved she felt in that moment.

I'm hearing that you're going to experience this fairytale kind of love. The one where Cinderella and Prince Charming find each other. They dance at the ball, yadda yadda yadda. You're going to experience it all, so I don't have to reaaalllly go into that much detail. It'll be great.

Except, since I also see that you'll love this person persistently, right? But there's also gonna be a minor issue. They're perfect, sure, but there's that one thing that gets you a bit like... hmmmm.

Aka, ~the ick~.

Now, pile one, you're going to have to get real for a moment. Is it an ick, or is it normal? Can you really chastise someone for existing as, like, a human being?

This year will bring you great love, but also great lessons. You may need to learn how to grow with other people. Meaning, you've done the work to get comfortable with yourself, but are you comfortable with other people? I don't see so. You're actually a bit more judgmental than you thought, to the point where you don't realize it. You may think of yourself as a person who is graceful to others, so maybe try seeing where this thought blocks you from actually giving grace.

Sometimes we get so caught up in our own lives that we forget to focus on growing with other people, too. The thing you're gonna have to remember is to get out of your own head. Touch grass. I don't see that you don't but maybe look at the grass for what it is instead of triumphantly exclaiming that you did the thing.

So, in tandem with what I just said, your love life will go just perfectly. I doubt that this lesson will fly over your head, so try not to ruin a good thing for yourself and it will all be good. You're going to get your happily ever after.

Pile Two

Not going to lie, this pile is similar to pile three in the sense that you've gone through a bit. Life has a habit of throwing things at you, so you are used to bracing yourself. However, where others haven't done the work, you have. Where there was lack before, there is abundance now. You cultivated the wastelands and have conquered mountains. You've done so much and now all is left is... love?

You're pretty balanced as an individual. Nicely enough, this actually attracts people. That. Is. So. Crazy !!!! <- I'm getting that you'll be thinking back on this year and it's interactions like that. Literally, though, it's going to blow your mind how when push comes to shove... your efforts actually led to good results. You're going to see what it's like in action.

It's not like it's going to be too unbelievable. It's literally just a new normal. And, it takes getting used to.

When you do get used to it, dating itself is going to be really nice. You'll know how to get around and find someone. This is going to be less of a surprise to you; I'll explain why.

This lover is very bumbly (almost clumsy) and sweet, and meanly enough you may not consider them an option at first. It's not personal, you just didn't. But they are also kind of obvious too. It's just endearing, honestly. They're a bit silly, with all of this as I'm reading like awww they're so cute. You won't have to worry about the cruelty of the world with them. They're a human with emotions and complications do arise because of that, but you know how to navigate these things and so do they.

Not going to lie, some of you are afab wlw, and others are afab but straight. This person could be either gender, so basically take it as it resonates for the gender you're into.

Pile Three

Admittedly, and I mean admittedly because you know this deep down, pile three, but admittedly you know that your love prospects haven’t been good. You are aware of why, too. There’s a truth that you’re running from, all because it’s a bit too painful to process. And it makes you choose the same hurt again and again. The devil often comes knocking at your door, and you haven’t comprehended that maybe you shouldn’t fall for the different clothes or his sweet words.

All of that is to say: gain more self-awareness. You’re falling for the same tricks in different clothes because you aren’t aware of what you need to do to not let this in. Boundaries are powerful only because they stop things that aren't meant for you in your life. Don't forget: you not liking things and acting accordingly is a boundary, too.

To speak from the heart for a moment: I kept wondering why certain types of people were "attracted" to me, like I was a magnet for bad. But, as it turns out, I've learned that other people tolerate bullshit so much less. Meaning, I was not attracting these people. They interact with others too; I was letting them in where others wouldn't. If you're suffering, and you notice that the people around you aren't, they're doing something you haven't been doing. Maybe you subconsciously tolerate less, or maybe you even consciously ignore the voice in your head telling you to get away.

You can only ever subconsciously tolerate less by consciously getting disgusted at tolerating more.

Actionable advice to change your future: if confronting the monster that needs to be confronted is too hard for you, chip away at its hard scales slowly but surely. Keep your distance at the times you need to, and confront it head on when you need to. It takes patience and you may get burned, but experience is the best teacher. Look to others who have been through the same thing as you and be completely open to trying what they have successfully used to combat their disorders, addictions, and trauma (always get medical professional help first though).

This is a you year. One day at a time, you will get better. And when the next new year rolls around, maybe you'll have learned enough to finally embrace a year of romantic prosperity and abundance. I see that this pile is actually lowkey full of baddies, pulling a quote by Marilyn Monroe isn't for weak personalities.

On a final note, don't get discouraged by this message. One year in a life is a drop in the ocean. You most likely won't remember the lonely times when you finally do reach the other side of the hardships. All that matters is that you get comfortable with *you*, and what's meant for you will soon follow.

Your girlfriend’s Hit me hard and soft tour had started back up again. This was the last leg of the tour finally. You couldn’t help but smile to yourself when Billie showed you just how many dates she would be playing in London. Which only meant she would be with you as much as she could until it all pulled her away. But none of that mattered as she held you close to her body, her fingers spread on your back, lips touching softly, keeping contact with you.

You were at your Kensington flat, outside in your garden, Billie’s favourite weather (grey skies, no trace of the sun.) “be honest. You planned all those dates here just to be with me, didn’t you?” You said cupping her cheek sweetly.

“Well, you know I don’t-“ you interrupted her, placing your finger to her lips. “You couldn’t lie to me this once?” You smiled leaning in to peck her lips. But she pulled you back in for more, letting the kiss linger.

“Of course I came to see my girl. I can’t imagine being here without you.” You couldn’t help but smile, turning into complete mush. This place, your place was your own little hideaway from the rest of the world. Every time Billie came to visit it was like running away together. A little home you had created just for yourselves. Shark ran around in grass messing with something you couldn’t figure out as you admired your work in the garden together. And your cute little fairy tree. Her tattoo and book inspired you to make one together after you laid on the carpet, pulling out the inserts, Billie telling you what each page meant to her when she was little and you couldn’t help but smile finding it all magical. But not even the fairies, Billie.

You put a cute little door on the very bottom of the tree trunk, and hand crafted a few little fairies together. You threw some twinkle lights in a tree and lined the ground with small stones to make a path. You loved the small reminders of her all around.

“This is literally the cutest thing ever babe!” You grinned wrapping your arms around Billie, leaning in for another kiss. Before Billie could, you felt the first few drops of rain caress your face instead.

Three turned into five, five into ten or so before the clouds opened up and rain began pouring down. “Oh no!” You said clinging to her body, as if that could save you from getting drenched.

Billie stuck out her tongue, catching a few rain drops in her mouth, her arms opening as the rain fell all over her body. She held you with one arm, the other snaking up, running her fingers through her hair before bringing her hand down to touch her body. You watched in amazement, completely drinking her in, watching as the droplets of water consumed her skin. God she was perfect in every single way. How could someone be so goddamn perfect?

You dared yourself to feel her soft, delicate skin for yourself. You were so consumed by her and her wet skin that you didn’t even pick up on the fact that she was losing herself in a moment of her own about you.

You didn’t notice until your eyes left her shirt that had been clinging to her. You silently thanked yourself for letting her wear one of yours as it was tighter against her. You bit your lip as your eyes traveled up her body, up her collarbone, up her face, directly meeting her eyes. She was biting her lip too before she lifted your chin gently, bringing you in for yet another kiss.

Her lips were always so heavenly as she caressed you, kissing you with urgency, kissing you like she missed you. Trying to make up for any of the lost time you had spent apart. And no part of you minded. You knew it wasn’t just the rain that was making you feel wet as she pressed her thigh against you. You moaned softly into her mouth as her hands slipped lower, under your skirt. she grabbed the fabric and pulled you closer against her, pressing you harder across her body.

“B-Billieee.” You said softly, a bit more needy sounding that you had intended. “If you keep this up, you know where it’s going to go.”

“And what’s wrong with that?” She said littering rainy kisses down your skin. She was good. There wasn’t anything wrong with that. Just the fact that she had a show to do.

“I want you in the living room.” She whispered in your ear, still kissing whatever part of skin she could. “On the floor, by the fireplace. Don’t want anything in our way.” She said pulling away to look straight into your eyes. I guess it wouldn’t hurt if we made up for lost time before her show started. You kissed Billie’s lips before grabbing her hand and leading her inside, silently agreeing to be hers and only hers.

a/n: I wrote this in London the other day. In my mind I missed June/July here. And I’m also anticipating next July seeing Billie and how much she loves a rainy day and feels inspired xx

It's genuinely so fucking sad that as a people in 2024 going into 2025, there are kpop fans that are still so delusional and controlling to the point where they hate on idols who in fact are still human for dating which is in fact a very human experience. As humans, we are allowed to experience love, and idols should be free to do that without hate. They aren't robots. They aren't responsible for your delusional behaviour. You most likely will never have that y/n moment or be able to be with them. Being delulu is all fun and games, I myself am delusional sometimes but it's always light hearted and fun because I live in reality where there are actual real world problems and problems and challenges that I have to face everyday. But if your delusions cause you to hate on someone who doesn't know you personally outside of knowing you are a fan, then I think you should consider serious therapy or like the youngins say touch some fucking grass. Get a job, get a hobby, and let people live. At the end of the day, an idols' job is to sing, dance, rap, perform, and give you good music. They don't owe you anything outside of that. People tend to forget that at the end of the day, K-pop is music and idols' job is to produce music. Anything outside of that in their personal life is not your business or your job to dictate. They are human, they live, breathe, sleep, eat, die just like all of us. Let them have their human experiences to love, build a home and life with someone, make dumb mistakes, learn from said dumb mistakes, get married, have children, hang out with friends, etc, all without fear of being stalked or harassed or called out for something average people do on a day to day basis. The immaturity of K-pop stans never fail to amuse and upset me. Those types of fans are the reason K-pop fans have a bad image, and people believe all of us to be immature, jobless, teenagers. I'm not ashamed to be a K-pop stan but gosh, there should be a contract or mental evaluation we have to sign before we become one to cleanse the general Fandom of the crazy

Pedri: «I like being a leader, it's a role that doesn't scare me at all»

Sant Joan Despí, (Barcelona) - Despite his youth, midfielder Pedro González 'Pedri' (Tegueste, Tenerife, 2002) is not afraid to become one of the leaders of Hansi Flick's Barcelona, ​​a coach who, as he explained in an interview with EFE, asked him at the beginning of the season to take "a step forward" as head of the engine room of the Blaugrana team.

According to the Spanish international, Flick's confidence has been key to his improvement - "he told me he wanted me to dominate the midfield," he recalls - and he naturally assumes being one of the leaders in the dressing room.

"There are a lot of young players and because of my experience I should be one of the leaders. I like being that, it's a role that doesn't scare me, not at all. I just want to face it to try to make Barça win titles," he added.

He feels “very light” on the grass

In addition, Pedri has found continuity in his game this season, something that he had been lacking in the last three seasons due to the muscular ailments he had been suffering from.

In this sense, he says that he currently feels "very light" on the grass, where he can make "several efforts in a row" without fear of breaking.

"The way we train," he admits, has been one of the main reasons why he has played in 35 of the 36 official matches that Barcelona has played this season - 33 as a starter - surpassing the 34 he played last season.

"It doesn't mean that the other way of training was bad, but it's just that it suits me very well," he says. After the arrival of Julio Tous as head of physical preparation last summer, the first team of the Blaugrana, says Pedri, does strength exercises "much more measured" for each player and their needs. "It's a job that suits me better personally and, that's why I'm feeling so good," he says.

In addition, genetic tests were carried out which, according to the Tenerife midfielder, determined that he needed to play the matches in a row, with hardly any breaks. "I prefer to play, since my body finds it harder to get going when it stops for one or two weeks," he added.

Good atmosphere in the locker room

And that is what Hansi Flick is doing, asking him to "stay calm, maintain possession and from there create opportunities" in a team in which there is a "feeling" between the players, he highlights.

"We're always laughing and joking around, because there are many players who aren't even 20 years old. We laugh a lot and the good relationship we have off the pitch is transmitted on it," he says.

In addition to Pedri, another of Barça's footballing leaders is the Brazilian Raphael Dias 'Raphinha', the team's second top scorer this season with 24 goals, who is praised for his work capacity.

"He deserves it a lot, because there was a time when he was being criticized, when he wasn't at his best, but you always saw him training, wanting to improve, wanting to have those opportunities that you knew were going to come to him because of the way he worked, he's spectacular," he added.

He also praises other colleagues such as Pablo Páez Gavira 'Gavi' and Fermín López - "they seem to be going crazy, but the work they both do is incredible," he says - as well as his friend Ferran Torres, who this season is reaping "the fruits" of his work.

Optimistic about the selection

Since his breakthrough in the elite with Barcelona in the 2020-21 season, Pedri has also established himself in the Spanish national team, with which he won the European Championship last summer.

“Whenever you win a tournament like the Euros, you always think: I hope the World Cup comes soon, we are doing very well. We have to wait, they are dynamic, we have a great team. It is good that Rodri (Hernández) and Dani Carvajal - both injured - can make it to the 2026 World Cup and so we have everyone available,” he says.

The Barça player also highlights the influence of coach Luis de la Fuente, who he says knows “almost all” of the national team's players due to having trained in the lower categories of the national team.

“That is very important when it comes to transmitting. He believed in you when you were little and he continues to believe in you in the absolute. That gives you a lot of confidence” he points out.

He doesn't forget his roots

Beyond his day-to-day work as a professional, Pedri does not forget his roots, not even when he chooses to join forces with a brand. This is the case of Plátano de Canarias, a product from his “land” with which he is very proud to collaborate.

“Many times it is personal issues, emotional issues, that make one thing satisfy you more than another, and not so much because of the economic value or other things. You value sentimental or emotional things more than anything else,” he says.

The Canarian footballer has also been involved in a campaign to promote healthy habits among young people through the consumption of fruits such as bananas.

WIP Wednesday 🎇

Kicking off with my first WIP Wednesday of 2025 - how exciting 😄

As requested by @anon, here is a li'l 🤏 snippet of the fic I'm currently working on! It will be a high school AU with gay loser Stiles and closeted jock Derek. Derek also happens to be dating cheerleader Paige...

“Whoa, whoa, just – calm down,” Stiles cuts in, because Derek is dialling himself all the way up here, ratcheting to tip over the deep end in a matter of seconds, and it is really starting to freak him out. “It’s literally just some unoriginally homophobic bullying, dude. I’m used to it by now. Why the hell are you getting so worked up about it?”

A harsh breath flares at Derek’s nostrils, his earlier tirade now bitten back behind the snap of his teeth. His jaw clenches as he looks away once again, the shadow of his pale eyes sliding into the empty darkness over Stiles’ shoulder.

“I’m not,” he says tightly.

Stiles scoffs another laugh. That’s a lie if Stiles has ever heard one.

“You totally are,” he argues, eyebrows knitting together as he searches an avoidant gaze and comes up completely empty. “Seriously. Why would you even, like… care?”

His heartbeat stutters against his ribcage when Derek’s eyes snap back to his. Sharp, and piercing, and almost glinting in the moonlight that streams down from the inky sky above.

It is quiet between them. A light breeze whistles through the green of the trees around them, and distant engines rumble from the highway out of sight to them, and the music of the party still beats steadily on behind them, far away to mean nothing, nothing at all, to either one of them right now.

“I don’t care,” Derek says. “I don’t know.”

Lie. Lies, lies, all goddamn lies. It is clear as day in the break of Derek’s voice, in the nervous flash of his eyes and the hard set of his jaw and the fists he has curling into the grass they sit on. There is no doubt in Stiles’ mind that Derek is lying to him, but he just does not understand… why.

The pieces begin to fall clearer into place when Derek jolts forwards to kiss him.

Stiles feels frozen. His hands hover just above his lap, his eyes open, big and wide and stunned as they stare across at Derek’s closed ones, the dark shadow of his eyelashes against the sharp height of his cheekbones. There is a blade of grass stuck to the heel of Derek’s palm, damp where it presses to Stiles’ cheek, cool against the flush of Stiles’ skin, that shaking, gentle touch holding Stiles carefully in place for the dry match of their unmoving mouths.

A second passes before Stiles can truly catch up to what is happening to him. He breathes through his recovery, closes his eyes, and kisses back.

Their heads tilt, the faint nudge of the tips of their noses as they angle for better, angle for more. The sound of their lips catching at one another is so loud to Stiles, a deafening, repetitive smacking to be heard even above the steady roar of blood inside of his ears. Derek keeps his hand on Stiles’ face. Stiles cannot move his hands from midair.

This is his first kiss. Ever, actually – literally his very first. He really was not kidding about feeling like the only queer kid around for about a hundred miles or more. Any kind of opportunity like this has never presented itself to him before. He barely knows what to do with it.

Derek’s mouth is warm, and his hand is kind of warm now, too, but his tongue – his tongue is hot, so fucking hot. It sweeps along the seam of Stiles’ bottom lip, wet and pressing and burning at the twisting pit of Stiles’ stomach. Derek takes the chance to lick instantly inside when Stiles’ lips part with a humiliating hitch of breath.

Time passes. It’s a cliché, but Stiles truly has no idea how much, loses track entirely of even the concept of its passage as he sinks into the feeling of Derek touching him, kissing him, holy shit, Derek Hale is kissing him. Stiles’ trembling fingers clutch into the fabric of his own jeans, too terrified to even consider reaching out for Derek, too aware of how easy it would be to break whatever fucking spell is happening between them right now.

In the end, his restraint is futile. The crash of a patio door swinging into the wall from the house behind them has Derek ripping away from him so quickly it could tear a hole in the very fabric of the universe.

They stare at each other with wild eyes. Derek is breathing just as heavily as Stiles is. Stiles’ mouth feels weird, puffy in a way he has no experience with, and there is nothing he can do to stop the hand that flies up to his face, fingerprints denting into the bow of his lip.

Derek’s eyes dip down to follow the movement. They are not allowed to linger there long.

“But,” Stiles says, little more than a whisper, raw and quiet, “you’re straight.”

A beat. Derek merely stares silently back. His mouth is red as it parts around a ragged breath, and no words follow after.

“You have a girlfriend,” Stiles presses on.

Derek leaps instantly to his feet.

Welcome, you must be new to my blog because whatever you’re here for, JayDick has been around since 2016 and I don’t think they’re leaving anytime soon, if not ever.

At this juncture I see Jason and Dick as colleagues because I honest to god hate “batfam” and whatever the fuck it stands for thanks to DC and people like you.

I don’t care if you’re disappointed because you’re irrelevant to me. My mom, partner, family and friends don’t care because they know—I know—that my fictional preferences do not determine who I am as a person.

Speaking of, I am a responsible adult that pays tax, I have other hobbies outside of Harvey Dent etc etc. If you’re terminally online and spend most of your time bullying people championing your “moral” crusade online from the comfort of your bedroom, honey, you’re in no position to pass judgments on me, okay? Go out, touch some grass and maybe interact with non-fandom people/things.

Honestly, it’s really not that hard to block a tag. I block so many things I don’t like to see on my dashboard without harassing or being a bitch to whoever that posted/reblogged those stuff.
