Tbh I think the most logical and realistic theory to why RBR is pushing the lestappen agenda so much more than Ferrari is that it just benefits Max more than it does Charles. Charles is already like an angel to the F1 community. He’s EXTREMELY well liked across all fans. No one genuinely dislikes him (there are trolls that hate on him to annoy the lecfosi but otherwise). Unfortunately Max doesn’t have that same luxury. He’s seen as an evil jerk by probably a good half of the F1 community (although it’s improving). Being seen having such kind and gentle interactions with Charles helps soften that reputation. And the only drivers whose interactions with Max get this much attention is Charles and Daniel. However, I don’t think Daniel has the same positive effect on Max’s reputation that he used to, or at least not as much. Not since he got his seat again at another’s expense, and even more so after he got the contract renewal instead of Liam Lawson. The general view of Daniel is still positive I’d say, but not nearly as much. Plus, when Max and Daniel interact on behalf of RBR, it just excludes Checo and looks more like a different agenda, which pisses some people off even more and doesn’t help anyone. Charles on the other hand, there is literally no negative side effect to their interactions to be widely seen, so RBR is going to take advantage of that.

yes, this is also a strong theory in my mind! the added baggage around doing it with daniel these days is a good point. charles is unproblematic and has great star power on the grid and that’s why all the top teams like to flex their charles interactions on social media (not just rbr).

i think charles comes with the added bonus that he has never really spoken badly about max and clearly approves of his (controversial) driving style. last year, the friendly rivals “full of respect” narrative that rbr was big on was a dig at lewis for sure, but it was also about max being seen as friendly/fun at the height of a (brief) title battle. especially when rbr (or christian) still gets some good press for “defending charles more than his own team” (every time ferrari fucks up, the chrisrian horner quote goes around? great staying power for rbr). yes, there was the austria 19 scuffle (and the great lestappen unfollowing) but everyone talks about that in a fond way now because of the change in their friendship since. and austin is a good example (“no i don’t mind max trying to punt me to dallas, i - an angel! - would do the exact same”).

i think it also benefits rbr to suggest that they might be able to get charles. yeah, it’s unfortunate for the Look if they can’t get him (and suggests that even the best car can’t lure whoever they want), but this is charles. the suggestion that they’ve even been able to get him to consider it for longer than a second is powerful, precisely bc no one thinks charles will ever leave ferrari (and many think rbr would be the last place he’d go, because of their “bad” rep).

charles benefits from it too, imo. rbr was definitely driving it and charles seems more passive with it (liked the merc tweet, but not rbr — which i think is more about the “mr russell” joke than merc). the padel date is new buy in. for him, it’s useful to suggest he has options elsewhere — but i also think max’s reputation benefits him for the exact opposite reason (suggesting he’s not just a “soft” angel and is in fact as brutal and deranged as max on track, given the chance).

so. yeah. there’s also a very strong plausibility that this is all just rbr capitalizing on rehabbing max’s reputation and charles taking the extra bargaining leverage with ferrari.

Barbara Gordon's Obsession with Smalltown!Reader

A/N: I feel like I'm spamming with everything I keep posting, and it's making me self conscious. Yikes. Imma have to start queuing stuff. But, good news, I think I got a breaking point for Reader for Part Seven. Of course, I was half asleep when I came up with idea, but I did it!

A/N: Up next, Dick and Steph. I want to start the Supers, but I wanna really make those good.

A/N: I feel like Barbara is the most rational of the family, which makes her a difficult Yandere to write. But, I attempt it!

Warning: Mild Yandere themes

Barbara’s Obsession with Reader is a bit more mild compared to the other’s. She wormed her way into this family and, yes, she was a bit annoyed that Bruce kept Reader a secret and that Reader was his favorite child. But, she could understand. Reader’s conception was much different from Damian’s.She gets it. She does. 

That doesn’t mean she was obligated to like Reader. She’d be cordial, but Barbara had her own priorities assisting Batman as Oracle. Not spending time with some childish civilian. (Maybe she was a bit saltier than she let on.) Barbara will fully admit she had a few preconceived notions about Reader before she actually got to know them.

However, things changed when Reader personally asked Barbara if they could come to the Library with her. She had assumed Bruce had put them up to it, but was mildly surprised when she talked with Bruce and he revealed he hadn’t. (He also seemed a bit surprised, too.) 

Bruce agreed to let Reader go with Barbara. But, once again, Barbara had been stunned by Reader. 

Barbara has been a part of the Bats for a long time. She knew how people in this family acted. She had wrongfully assumed Reader was just asking to go to the library with her so they could sneak off and do whatever. She had everything prepped for when Reader inevitably snuck off and got into trouble

Only, they hadn’t.

They stayed right there. Right in Barbara’s line sight. They did occasionally disappear to get a book, or use the restroom. And, each time, Barbara had thought that was finally it. They’d finally snuck off. Only to be flabbergasted every single time they came back. 

It was unusual, but definitely not unwelcome. 

Barbara was used to having to keep track of the other’s. Acting as the voice of reason, even to Batman, at times. For Reader to actually have enough common sense to not wander off into Gotham by themselves was refreshing. 

It was nice to be able to just look up, and they were right there. Safe.

Chatting with them softly. Filing the silence with a warm small talk. So unlike Bruce and Damian.

She had previously entertained the thought that Reader would be just like them. There were similarities. In appearance and certain expressions. Sitting down and actually talking to Reader revealed to Barbara that, despite the sheltered upbringing, they were intelligent just without the jaded paranoia and need to prove themselves. 

After that day, it was easier to smile at Reader. The strained polite smiles faded into something more genuine and welcoming. 

(All the same, despite her being one of the most rational members of the family, Barbara is just as delusional as the rest of them. In the end, she wants to protect that little bit of warmth and normalcy just as much as the rest of the Bats. And, she’ll do it by any means necessary.)

You absolute scoundrel, you’re gonna give the men heart attacks. Where did you go this time?

Tomas was very careful with his steps. It was his turn to watch over you and prevent you from running off again. That doesn’t work out when you are as small as a rat and you have the skills of an assassin. You can disappear at any moment. Freaking escape artist.

He looked away from you for a second so he could train and you took that opportunity to run away. You have nothing against Tomas, you just don’t like being babysat. So although you are safe, Tomas doesn’t feel safe. Bi-Han is gonna kill him when he figures out he lost you.

He’s damn near dragging his feet because he is afraid of possibly stepping on you. His ears are carefully listening to everything, hoping he will be lucky enough to hear your small footsteps or even scratching.

“Please, come out. If you come out now I’ll give you a treat.” He offered.

Heh, he’s treating you like an animal. Like you’re so simple as to leave your hiding spot just for a-

“I’ll give you some chocolate.”

Oh hell yeah.

Just then, Kuai Liang walked into the room and saw his brother looking frantically.

“What is the matter? You seem to be in a panic.” He said while walking closer.

Tomas put his hands up to prevent Kuai Liang from moving around. He didn’t want to risk the chances of you being stepped on. Kuai Liang was unsure of what was happening until he saw your tiny body running up to Tomas. You stared up at him with your eyes wide. You awaited your treat. You even held your hand out to signal him to give it to you. Give the chocolate! You looked like you’re about to burst into tears if you didn’t receive it.

“Kuai Liang, go get some chocolate from the kitchen area,” Tomas told him.

“…We do not have chocolate. We ran out.”

“You liars!” You yelled at both of them. What did Kuai Liang do? He just walked in.

You turned around and started scattering. You were like a tarantula in a panic. You were moving in a zigzag pattern. Your small size allowed you to move quickly. Your small feet thumped against the ground like rain on a drum. Tomas and Kuai Liang went into a panic as they tried to keep their eyes on you.

Without thinking, Tomas threw his smoke bomb across the room. It smacked against the wall and busted into a large cloud of gray smoke. You stop since you know it would be risky to walk into that mess. It would be like walking into Black Sunday during the Dust Bowl. That gave Kuai Liang enough time to scoop you up and lift you up. You were forced to look at his disappointed expression as he nodded his head.

“You do understand that we are doing this to keep you safe, right?” He asked.

“I’m a grown adult, I don’t need you to watch over me.” Really? You’re grown?

“You are small. You can easily go missing and possibly get hurt. We cannot risk that.” Especially with how important you are to Bi-Han.

Surprisingly, Bi-Han finds you to be an important part of the clan. Your small size is useful. You can easily sneak around and gain information without anyone knowing. The only downside is your rebellious side. You need to rebel and run around the place. You’ve almost gotten yourself killed because of that. You’ve almost been stomped, kicked, smacked, and attacked by other small creatures. That’s why Bi-Han and his brothers need to keep an eye on you. They can’t save you from every golden orb-weaver you encounter.

Kuai Liang decided to take over so Tomas could continue training. He walked out of the room with you in the palm of his warm hands. This is the only time you will stay still since he is so warm. It’s like being in a heated bed that surrounds you with comfort. He would have liked to keep you in his hands to prevent you from being a menace but he had to use both hands for what he had to do. He was hungry and he had to cook.

He placed you down on the counter in the kitchen area before looking around to see what he could cook. He handed you a cracker to distract you from making a devious plan in your head. Don’t choke on the cracker by shoving it into your cheeks. He will smack your back to make you spit it out. You watched him walk around and collect vegetables to chop up.

As he began to chop the vegetables he would occasionally stop to look at you. The knife would hit the cutting board constantly before stopping abruptly and then continuing. He needed to keep an eye on you. But there you were, munching away innocently on a cracker.

Of course, the moment he looks away from you…you are gone once again. Kuai Liang slammed the knife down as he started looking around. You were just on the counter! He saw your little body running over to the stove. You leaned down and pressed down on the stove’s knob to turn it sideways. A fire ignited behind you, the flames flicker and wave towards you. Yet you are oblivious to the danger you put yourself in.

“You stop right there!” He yelled, but when do you ever listen?

Kuai Liang watched in horror and frustration as you leap onto the flat part of the knob. You took another leap and hoped to land successfully. To your surprise, you landed in the warm hands of Kuai Liang. That man threw himself forward to catch you.

When you looked at Kuai Liang his eyes burned greater than the flames on the stove. He was not displeased by your antics. His hand went up to turn the stove off before he got back on his feet.

“Why did you try to run away again?” He asked.

“I didn’t want to sit there anymore. It’s cold and hard.”

Kuai Liang didn’t say another word. He walked off with you to somewhere else in the temple. You apologize to him since you were being a little stinker.

You saw him walking over to Bi-Han as he watched over the others as they trained. Bi-Han was surprised to see his brother walking towards him with a serious expression on his face. Kuai Liang grabbed Bi-Han’s hand and placed you onto his palm.

“It’s your turn.” He said bluntly before walking off.

Bi-Han nabbed the back of your shirt and lifted you off his hand. He glared at you because he knew what Kuai Liang meant. You drove him and Tomas worried sick. Now it was up to Bi-Han to handle you.

“You have caused enough chaos for today. I have a solution to your little schemes.” There was a certain darkness to his tone. A message saying ‘I won’t let you get away with this’.

You heard the jingling of something metal. You were placed down on a table before Bi-Han started to move your arms around. You were unsure of what he was doing but you felt something slip onto you. A click was heard and when you looked down you saw he put a harness on you.

My gosh, he’s putting a leash on you. One of those leashes and harnesses that they put on rats or squirrels.

He placed you down on the ground and everyone was observing you. Some thought it was silly while others thought it was cute. Come on, look at that angry glare. You could kill a man with that stare if you were full size. Bi-Han told everyone to continue on and he told you to act good. He didn’t need you getting hurt.

And what do you—YEAH I BET YOU START ACTING UP AGAIN!

You didn’t want to be tied down. What is this, a marriage?! You won’t stand for this. You tried to walk off but even taking one step made Bi-Han yank you back. He had no shame in doing that. You were pushing your limits, it’s time to slow down.

Running around his legs won’t do anything either, you’re just upsetting him more. You would run around and the leash would tighten around his legs. Once there was no more you’d fall down with a thud sound being produced. He didn’t even yank that was on you. You’d get right back up and do the same thing except in the other direction. It almost worked too. You were driving him insane to the point he almost unleashed you. But you tired yourself out. Your little body could only hold so much energy. Bi-Han noticed that you were barely moving. He looked down to see you sitting on the floor, slightly swaying as you struggled to sit upright. Bi-Han picked you up gently and held you in his hand for the remainder of the training session.

After that was done he went looking for his brothers. He found Kuai Liang and Tomas sitting together. Kuai Liang managed to make his food and Tomas was napping. All that worrying made him tired. Bi-Han placed you on the table and finally took the harness off. Kuai Liang was confused but didn’t feel like asking. He already had an idea of what happened. The tiny harness was cute though.

“How did you make them so tired, brother?” Kuai Liang asked.

“I did not do that. It was their decision that made them tired.”

Bi-Han started rummaging around the cabinets. He pulled out a large chocolate bar that was still wrapped in the silver wrapping. Okay so Kuai Liang was a liar there was chocolate. He broke off a tiny piece before giving it to you. Hopefully, that sugar will fully knock you out.

You used up your remaining energy to nibble at the chocolate piece. A wonderful treat to have after being a menace for a whole day. You rested your body against Tomas’ resting face and indulged in the chocolate. You only got halfway through before you started to close your eyes. Your grip on the chocolate piece grew loose until it tumbled out of your hands. Alright, that’s pretty cute, even to Bi-Han.

Kuai Liang helped to clean your mouth up from the chocolate stains that were left. He was about to pass your sleeping body to Bi-Han before he stopped him.

“Is there any way to prevent them from escaping in the morning? I do not want to look for them in the morning just because they wanted breakfast early.” No rest for the wicked.

Kuai Liang took a moment to look around to see if he could use anything to hold you in place. He got a brilliant idea when he spotted a hand towel. He grabbed it and immediately wrapped you in it. He literally rolled you and tightened it. He gave you back to Bi-Han who was intrigued. I mean, if it works it works.

He said goodnight to Kuai Liang before returning to his room. You’re forced to stay in Bi-Han’s room since you can’t be trusted to have your own. Your grandmaster has to keep an eye on you.

He walked over to your makeshift hammock that was in a cage. Yes, he knows you can manage a way to escape the cage. You’ve done it dozens of times. He gave up closing the door.

He placed you in your hammock and slightly swung you to make sure you’d stay sleeping. What a long day. At least Bi-Han doesn’t have to worry about you being gone in the morning. You seem pretty snug as a bug in that towel. He doesn’t want you getting hurt. This world is literally too big for you. Getting hurt is not an option.

Do the men a favor and play nice. You’re gonna send Tomas to an early grave. You’re gonna be the end of Kuai Liang’s life. You’re gonna give Bi-Han a heart attack. Please oh please be good and listen. Don’t go making an alliance with the rodents in the walls.

Do it, it would be so slay because I said so.

Yap notes: So I started one fanfic, wasn't hitting, tried to do another and it didn't hit, got chest pains and took my medicine incorrectly, woke up sad, decided to do this fanfic to make me happy, and now I'm posting at midnight. Bon appétit. I was actually gonna start this a bit ago when one of my wounds reopened because I thought that was my signal but I waited. It’s been a long while since you’ve visited Gandharva Ville , since you had some free time , you decided to go to Sumeru City , and then visit .

Little did you know , in the decade you were gone , another Fennec Fox would be there in Sumeru City ……

Tighnari :

He was only visiting Cyno , Alhaitham , and Kaveh just for a game , and he’s fairly sure he hasn’t gone delusional.

So why was he chasing a person with long ears on top of their head and a tail .

It’s been awhile since he saw any of his kind , they left him a while ago .

So why does he see someone with pale long ears , just like his own, on top of their head when they turn around .

He catches up to them and taps them on their shoulder .

You:

You’re dumbfounded , last time you checked , there wasn’t another fox in Sumeru City…. But then again , that was a decade ago , someone might’ve moved in while you were gone .

“ Um excuse me! Are you by any chance a Fennec Fox too?!” The green and black haired man looked at you with a certain desperation inside his eyes .

You stare at him dumbfounded , as you regain your senses and respond to his question.” Yes , I am , are you by chance one too?”

He smiled before answering ,” Yes , I am! My name is Tighnari! What’s your name?”

Your eyes widen a bit , and then you respond , ” Y/N, “

After that encounter , you and Tighnari start to get to know each other , he introduces the new things of Sumeru to you , and you tell him how Sumeru was like when you were younger.

You two travel across the region of Sumerian and look at the plants along the way , making more observations and questions about them , and also taking down some witherings .

Soon , you reach the desert , you watch Tighnari panic for a bit , and then you ask ,” Is there something bothering you?”

He looks at you sheepishly before replying,” Well , umm…. I can’t go out in the desert for long periods of time …. But I need some herbs from the desert..”

You smile at him before telling him,” No worries ! Tell me what you need! I’m a desert fox so I can get them easily .”

He looks at you , surprise lingering in his eyes , before giving you a grin and then telling you he needs a few Ajilenakh nuts.

You nod at him before going into the desert with some water and food .

It was a long time before you returned , Tighnari worried that he actually put you in danger because he needed some herbs , he didn’t think to confirm you could actually go in the desert for long periods of time!

Before his thoughts could spiral even deeper into the hole of self-doubt . You gently tapped him on the shoulder .

You didn’t expect him to literally jump 7 feet into the air and cling onto a tree branch….

You stare at him , a bit speechless as he looks at you and then comes back down and gives a sigh of relief.

You hold up a pouch full of Ajilenakh nuts and then give it to him, he opens his mouth to ask for your condition, but you beat him to it.” Don’t worry , I’m fine , I’m a desert fox!”

Soon , you guys began to hang out more , and by chance , you fell asleep on his shoulder underneath a tree.

Okay so starting off, my unfiltered thoughts throughout the episode

-They actually spend time together when outside the adventures aww! (Not like they really have a choice, but still neat-)

-Jax being a bitch

-"Zooble turns Straight" Welp, the whooooooole fandom was right!

-Bubbles reversed dialouge. Damn they really don't want those content farms no more.

-CAINE AN POMNI INTERACTION YEAAAA (It was one piece of dialogue I'm so delusional)

-He made this adventure JUST for Zooble cuz they never go and he really wants them to GUYS HES NOT A VILLAN SEE?

-Jax being a bitch

-LUIGIS MANSION REFRENCE FUCKING YESSS

-Wow the visual here are super pretty :o

-Wow the lore Caine writes for these stories is just like your average artist who torments their OCs (he so me fr)

Overall, this was definitely my favorite episode so far! The team is getting better each and every episode! SOOO much happened here!! I'm super excited to see what happens next!!

Okay, THEORY TIME!!

-Okay so to start lightly, so far, all the episodes we've seen contain:

Gangles mask breaking

Jax breaks the 4th wall

A cute/sad heart to heart conversation or interaction

A reference to angels or god or Christianity in some way

Interesting right?? Wonder if this keeps up...

-On the topic of Christianity, I saw a theory saying that if it's true that the gang developed the game (which may be true because of that computer science line), When Pomni says "I knew it would end up like this... He just wants me to suffer..." she may not be referring to Caine, but her Boss at CnA.

If that boss exists and is NOT named able, Imma be mildly upset-

-Okay, Alot of people have been talking about Jax being an NPC, and I wanna bring up my opinion on this:

As I mentioned earlier, he always breaks the 4th wall, witch could be seen as a character in a game being like "What do YOU think?" *Insert Game Options here*

I saw another theory saying that if this is true, Jax might be self aware or sentient to some degree, and This is why he tortures everyone. He knows that this world Revolves around the players and nit him so he wants to make them more miserable.

-OKAY, NOW WHAT (I) WEVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR... THE WHOLE DEAL WITH CAINE GLITCHING OUT AN' STUFF!

As one of many Caine angst connisuars on this platform, I really enjoyed this scene...

Caine knows that he only exists to make adventures and if he can't do it well enough than he serves ZERO purpouse and his existence is useless... (he's just like me fr)

This has SO MUCH POTENTIAL FOR A SERIES FINALE.

Since in each episode we've (mostly) seen a character being comforted (mostly Either Pomni being comforted OR someone being comforted BY Pomni)

What if the last episode had Caine and Pomni having a heart to heart?

(Shutup this is not about showtime I swear let me have this-)

Someone abstracts, (Ragatha or Kinger probably,) and it's Caine's last straw. He finally breaks and the circus goes into ruins. Pomni does her best to comfort him. This could go one of two ways:

Either she sucseeds and happy ending for everyone :D

OR, they fail and The Circus is destroyed, Taking Caine down with it.

Maybe then that would be how they escape cuz if Caine is emotionaly attached to the circus, it would be completely destroyed or erased if Caine finally broke...

The angst potential is crazy...
