( @emoautism , it's been a long time, but I've finally added an Image Description for you & anyone else who needs it.)

[ID: A mostly grayscale sketch-style comic where Kris is holding the red heart-shaped Soul representing the player, speaking to it. Kris's speech is in second-person, as it is in-game, and is colored black. The soul answers directly, and their text is colored red.

Black text: You ask it why it acts like it knows everyone in your town, despite the fact that none of them know it at all.

The Soul hesitates, then answers in red text: "Because I did know them. Once. In a world far different from this one, a long time ago, I had become very close with each and every one of them. We were like friends. We were like family."

Black text: Your teacher?

Red text: "In this other world, she was a brilliant scientist, who lacked confidence. I helped her face her mistakes, and become stronger."

Black text: The police chief?

Red text: "The true hero of monsters. I earned her trust, and helped her overcome her hatred of humankind."

Black text: The Grocery Store Guy?

Red text: "Another friend, both he and his brother. He was the judge. I hope him to see hope in the world once more."

Black text: Dot dot dot. Your mother?

Red text: "She... Was like my mother once, too. I cared for her very much. The same for your father. He was like mine. Dot dot dot. And the same goes for your brother."

Kris's looks surprised. They look down in silence for a moment, then their black text reads: * You ask it why, if everyone and everything was so happy, why did it leave, and why doesn't it just go back?

Red text: "Dot dot dot. I left because my role in that world had been fulfilled. I brought that world to its conclusion. It no longer needed me anymore. And I cannot go back because... In order for that world and everyone in it to remain truly, everlastingly happy... I can never see them again. I want to go back. And I miss them. But I made a promise to someone. And it is a promise that I intend to keep."

Red text again: "Despite the conflict of our relationship... I hope someday we can become friends too, Kris."

Kris's black text has two options: "Me too", and "Dot dot dot." The second option is selected, and Kris puts the red Soul back into their chest quietly.

That's so many of us. Undertale made us care so much for the characters. Made them feel real.

To the point where we love a video game so much that we'll never play it again... 🥲

And honestly, so many, many of us feel this way going into Deltarune too. Most of us aren't cruel, or meaning to control Kris in a way that harms them. In fact, it's quite clear that they like Susie outside of our influence, & we've helped them become closer to her.

I'd definitely like to hope we can become friends with EVERYONE. Which Toby expressed as his wish while talking about Deltarune.

I'd like to hope that includes Kris too. 🥹
