thinking abt john who has always really loved the zelda games..

john who plays breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom for johnny, kenshi, and taka...

the four of them making a day of it every friday night-

the living room is cleared except for the furniture and they lay out blankets and pillows and really make it cozy- john sets up the switch, kenshi lays out the pillows and blankets, and johnny and taka are making snacks-

they all settle in and get cozy and john plays until the other three are asleep and then settles in next to them and passes out

the four of them waking up in the living room together, warm and content and also asking john where they left off last night-

all four of them who look forward to friday evenings bc even after john finishes his games, they still set everything up and put on a tv series, or a movie, or they find other games to play- they make it a little thing with each other <3

FINALLY SOME ART FOR AN AU IVE BEEN WORKING ON!!!!! YIPEEEEEE!!!!!!!! So tl;dr Twisted Modes like an alternate game mode designed to be a form of 'hard mode', where the play styles for each toon have been muddied or completely changed to offer a completely different experience for players. The premise is that the toons are like a remnant of previous games, its based upon the clone theory so each individual toon has their own story and lore separate from the others (though there are exceptions for a few characters!). Also the AU is written in a way that's meant to semi-emulate the game itself which is why the stats and alternate abilities are listed, expect more gameplay aspects to be given in the future bc i love coming up with gameplay mechanics 😈

smth so good abt labru besides the obvious thing (narrative foils) is also the fact that laios is such an open book / wears his heart on his sleeve and honest down to earth guy that he just loops back around to being unpredictable . like the fuckin, “its not even a monster??” laios fav food reveal is such a funny bit because like . okay. its hilarious that kabru who’s whole thing is being able to read people super well and remember all these details abt them is just so utterly blind when it comes to laios. hes like shooting a dart everywhere and it hits the general direction but at the same time the trajectory is just so off because laios does something bizarre that kabru has to reorient his chart of “stuff abt laios touden” and scramble things around. its like a game. a flow chart of . whatever the fuck
