to be honest i really doubt he had such amount of time in this social experiment just to die right before the "end". he was intentionally made as a character who would make ranboo get back for him and loose their chance to escape

and we actually never seen him die from wire monster, but as we saw before and after that it wasn't a problem for SFM to show dead people. we saw a huge cut on hetch, a dead employee and, of course, ranboo's brutal death, but they didn't showed charlie even bleed. and that's fucking sus. instead of that we heard him fuse with the wire monster and lead ranboo to the trap he couldn't actually know about because he supposedly never knew that even cabin was a set, but HE KNEW THERE IS A BUTTON BEHIND THIS SET WHAT WOULD "HELP" RANBOO

my theory is that showfall knew ranboo has a chance to escape, so they wrote a character that ranboo will care enough to go back for. a character who would be a wolf in sheep's clothing, whos sign says "lies" with blood, who s being near ranboo all the time to make sure sfm won't lost him in the mall. a character who will lead ranboo in the right, scripted direction, who will make them believe they are not alone

He and bill had history and who’s to say that this wasn’t just Bill trying another method to get inside his head once more by using you, his beloved, as a cheap tactic to do so.

‘Oh Stanford, do you really think I’d bluff about this? You should know me better by now that I do not bluff, I’ll show you instead seeing as how stubborn you are into believing me nowadays.’ Bill said as he then showed Ford of all the infinite ways you died throughout the multiverse:

Went through a curse doorway unknowingly and never returned, etc, etc.

Bill took immense pleasure in the horrified look upon Ford’s face as he gingerly traced your face as though you turned into porcelain and not stone.

‘Sucks doesn’t it knowing they your loved one is bound to die in every single timeline, it’s enough to suck the joy out of everything.’ Bill said as Ford only glares at him. You don’t deserve these fates, none of your alternate selves did and he could only imagine what you could’ve possibly felt before dying alone.

‘Oh and your beloved y/n is on route to die in like five months.’ Bill casually mentions and Ford immediately looks to him again.

‘What do you mean by that? How do they die! How can I stop it!’ Ford exclaimed as he felt his heart race and his blood run cold at the sheer helplessness he felt in the moment, but it only proved to humour bill all the more. ‘Oh you can’t prevent this one Stanford Pines, they’ll die regardless of what you do to try and prevent it they’ll die regardless and you’ll have to live with it.’ Bill says before leaving Ford alone with his rampaging thoughts.

He could send you away to Dimension 52 to stay with Jheselbraum for the time being, just until he figured something out, but what if Bill foresees this move being made and goes after you himself? Ford didn’t know what he could do to protect you and it was driving him mad with Bill’s vague nonsense not helping him in the slightest. He’ll become paranoid of every little thing you did from that point onward to the point that even if you got a paper cut Ford was expecting something unfortunate to happen, but it never did.

Shit like this kept him awake at night as he holds you tightly against his chest, staring at the ceiling as though daring it to try and take you from him, which it didn’t but Ford grew skeptical of everyone you came across in case they were the catalyst for your death and kept himself near you at all times, hand on his gun in the instance he need to use it to keep you safe.

Ford would busy himself down in his lab to the point of exhaustion looking and theorising methods on how he could prevent your death, so much so that you’d have to come down and practically dragging him out because he was worrying you and the rest of the family. But Ford was stubborn as stubborn could be when it came to you and your safety that he tends to drown out your concerns for him, much to your dismay.

Ford believed that Bill was tempting him into making a deal to keep you safe but he knew that even as powerful as Bill was, even he couldn’t prevent something that he himself and told him happened across the entirety of the Multiverse. So Ford stuck to his guns and buried himself in work to keep you safe because he couldn’t and wouldn’t loose you if he could help it.

Stan

Doesn’t believe a thing Bill is saying in the slightest and thinks it’s all a pile of horseshit, up until the triangle demon shows him of all the infinite universes of which you did indeed die did Stan actually start to believe that Bill was actually telling the truth for once.

Zombies made you one of them.

Got turned to stone by a gorgon like creature and wasn’t saved in time.

Possessed by bill and had multiple stab wounds, bruises, scratches and lacerations from his misuse.

Submerged in amber/tree sap, face permanently stuck in horror.

Eaten by the Summerween Trickster.

Replaced by the shapeshifter after you were killed for being the imposter.

So many timelines where you’ve died cruelly or unfairly and it broke Stan’s heart knowing that in all of these universes his other selves might’ve been either too late, or made the wrong choices that he probably regrets as he downs each and every bottle of the hardest liquor in hopes he’d numb the pain.

He was destined to loose you no matter what and things weren’t made any better when Bill tells him that you were on route to die really soon, taunting him with the fact that there was nothing he, Ford or even the Pine Twins and their stupid pet pig could do to stop it; you’re death was an inevitability across the entire multiverse.

Stan hated being told that there was nothing he could do to prevent you from dying, he hated being told what he can’t do in general! So he’ll much rather take his odds with trying any and everything in his power to keep you safe and sound, even if it means dying himself he’ll do it gladly knowing you were okay.

He was already protective of you to begin with but with the added fact that you were bound to die sooner or later had Stan become even more protective of you. So much so that he doesn’t leave the shack without a crossbow or even his brass knuckles to fight off whoever or whatever was going to try and take you from him; hell he might even teach you how to fight should you get into trouble and he’s not there to protect you.

He keeps you by his side almost 24/7 at this point and would shower you in affection as though he was going to run out of time to do so, even going so far as to keep you away from walking under any ladders, tripping over anything and or crossing the street when you shouldn’t. However it got concerning to the point where you’d have to sit him down and ask what was wrong. Stan isn’t one to talk about his emotions nor how he felt about certain things but this was something he knew he had to share with you sooner or later, regardless of whether you believed him or not.

Stan still thought Bill was full of shit and even acted like he didn’t believe him about you dying and everything, but deep down Stan was scared that his best attempts to keep you safe wouldn’t be enough and that you’ll be taken away, regardless of how hard he fought back but Stan wasn’t one to easily give up not when his loved ones are involved.

today was the day, he’d decided. the day jj was going to reveal to you that he was infact spiderman. it wasn’t so much a choice, infact — he didn’t have much. he’d gotten in a bad fight, and knew you could patch him up, being a nursing student and all. he stumbled through your window, wearing his suit that now was home to a few rips and tears he was relying on you to sew up. his heart was racing, wondering what your reaction would be. he smiles as he hears your voice, about to exit your bedroom door — but his smile is quick to drop when he hears another male voice accompanying you, your joint best friend john b.

“look, i know you said to rule out rafe — but who else has his access? those web thingies that spiderman has, they had to cost a shit tonne of money, right? what does rafe have plenty of? money.” john b theorises.

“i think the webs come from his wrists john b, i swear — he’s like a spider mutant.” jj can hear the smile in your voice, clearly excited over the theories.

“yeah, you know that’s like— impossible, right?” john b’s voice flattens sarcastically.

“oh, and a guy flying across the skyline is totally normal. embrace the impossible, jb.” you grin and john b shakes his head, not buying it.

“whatever. you got anymore yarn? runnin’ kinda low here.”

“yeah, there’s some in my room somewhere. come.” you nod to the brunette for him to follow him, the sound of footsteps drawing closer. jj realises he’s about to be caught, big time.

“oh shit.” the now maskless blonde curses, going to take a step back but walks straight into your vanity, spilling an abundance of bracelets and necklaces onto the floor. he knew the commotion gave him away, so quickly — his wrist shot out and he closed the door with his web, the footsteps stopping suddenly in the hallway.

“who’s there?” you call out fearfully, and john steps infront of you protectively.

“got a baseball bat and im not afraid to use it, dude.” john b calls out, making jj pipe up quickly.

“its me! guys its me!”

“jj? what the hell are you doing in here?” you relax, storming over to the door. “how’d you get in?” he senses your hand reach for the door knob, and he panics once more.

“w—wait! okay! i’m uh— i’m naked!”

“dude.” john b’s flat voice sounds from behind the door.

“i got jumped, okay and they nabbed my freaking clothes.” as he speaks, he’s working on ripping his suit off, stuffing it into your full waste bin below your desk, covering it with balled up papers, making a mental note to retrieve it later.

when the door opens, jj stands fully naked, only his hands covering his junk.

“oh gosh.” you gasp, and the brunette shakes his head.

“they took your boxers, too?”

in solaricks when rick goes back to dimension C-137 he seems just about ready to start at least trying to move on from hunting prime, he admits that he can't find him and even goes on to tell "diane" about their grandkids

yet this is him less than a season later

so, what changed?

well, this, obviously:

not to mention how traumatic that episode must've been for rick in general, having to revisit his past like that, the diane ghost ai. well, rick makes it pretty clear he's not exactly thrilled to be alive

so think it's pretty safe to assume that this was the first step to the rick prime relapse, especially since we know he went back and managed to snag a killbot

one could also argue that rick wasn't ever really over it, so it took very little to push him back, and while i don't think he was over it either, he did seem to start to want to be, morty saying this:

was all it took for him to step away from the base, though it's likely he returned in another moment, but still, that could've been later on

okay, anyway, into the actual point of this post, i think rick took small steps into falling back into finding prime, because even when he seemed to want to be bettering himself things kept going wrong, so eventually he decided, what was the point?

this is how i see it:

obviously preceding solaricks we have rickternal friendshine of the spotless mort, which i'm not gonna go into too much detail on rn despite it being one of my fav lore episodes bcs i wanna look at post-solaricks (but for pre-solaricks rickmurai jack is also worth mentioning due to him having to revisit his backstory with the citadel which is very closely linked to his time looking for prime/killing ricks) but go ahead and check out this post by dirty-bear-rick-sanchez for the best explanation i've seen on it and its effect on rick

anyway, so just 2 episodes after solaricks we have bethic twinstinct, and i've gone into this in a past post how this might have taken him back to his past so i'm just gonna copy paste it from my other post (summarised) bcs im lazy:

a lot of ppl theorise rick and prime knew eachother before he offered him the portal gun so if thats true what if beth and space beth reminded him of them and how he was (hypothetically) cheating on diane and then lost her forever at the hands of the man he was having an affair with and also lost his beth

which is why rick said "remember, its not just your ice cream you're forgetting, it's your family's" or smth. because he forgot his familys ice cream too much, and all that happened

also look at all the similarities between prime and SB's outfits

then 5 episodes after that we have analyse piss, where we see that rick relates to pissmaster, sympathises with him

i will never not reccomend this fic by abed-with-a-knife about how rick was taken back to his own struggles with suicide and such, but it's not only that, so many features of pissmaster's experience are things rick can relate to, his rocky relationship with his daughter, everyone hating him, i think in general it's pretty clear that this episode was made to link rick and pissmaster

anyway, the next episode after analyse piss is immediately a rick in king mortur's mort, and this is quite clearly rick's breaking point, obviously we know this is when he replaces himself with rickbot, following this scene:

rick tells morty not to take the sword and morty doesn't listen

morty says rick's boring and calls him a "drunk cranky fuck" which does seem to bother rick

despite him shitting on a similar insult in the previous episode

in ricktional mortpoons rickmas mortcation, the following episode, he says the reason he replaced himself was because of this, because he feels like morty doesn't respect him any more, and that:

so first the show wears away at his friendships and his past trauma and self hatred with rfotsm, rickmurai jack goes even further into his past, his relation with the citadel, his "crybaby backstory", etc.

then solaricks forces him to confront his past, specifically his relationship with diane and accept his future and his new family, while giving him a small clue to prime.

then bethic twinstinct, provided he and prime really did know eachother previously (which im a little on the fence on if i'm honest), reminds him of his guilt for diane and little beth dying and how he feels responsible for it by mirroring the situation with older beth and the "edgier" version of herself. after that, analyse piss continues to dig into his current relationship with a beth that isn't his own, and takes a shot at his suicidal tendancies and how he feels like "god hates him" or the universe is against him or whatever.

and lastly akikmm takes all of that that rick is already carrying on his shoulders and adds morty not respecting him or caring about him to it, and it clearly cause rick to finally snap. if all of this was building and the only thing keeping rick afloat was his codependant relationship with morty (as seen in solaricks when morty gets him to not go after prime just by showing his care) then morty (by no fault of his own) seeming to dismiss rick must make him think "what's the point anymore?" if no one cares about him, then he might as well complete his life-long revenge plot, even if it destroys him again

because no one cares about him, right? (dramatic old fuck, get him psycological help)

anyway it's almost 2am so my thoughts aren't as coherent as i would like and i'm too lazy to read over this post and check if everything is right and good

Ok its time to talk about Vergillius

SPOILERS CANTO 7 PART 3, MENTIONS OF EVENTS IN BOTH DISTORTION DETECTIVE AND LEVIATHAN

Ok so this is somewhat split into two parts, the first is talking a little in medium length about Virgillius as a character and the newer things in part 3, as well as some prior things that are interesting enough to discuss, the second part is about rivers.

Ok so, Verg. Virg is an interesting character as he has prior story to Limbus Company, in Leviathan of course, relating to Charon/Lapis, with several things yet to be expanded on. Lapis is in all likelyhood his primary motivation for continuing this contract with Limbus Company, as he is likely to know at least somewhat of the true nature of Limbus Company, being an extension of the Udjat (as partially confirmed by Moses' appearance alongside Vespa, whom would have returned to N corp should Moses's mission of capturing distortions be finished, and the fact that distortions of the companies contracts are captured rather than resolved) (also there was a hint towards the relation that Outis has towards the Udjat as well in this canto, the first part, wherein Moses's gaze rests upon Outis for longer (War veteran lesbians) than the other sinners; This is interesting for the obvious link of Odysseus blinding a cyclops, in fact:

Putting Virgil on the back-burner for a moment, lets theorise about Outis potentially; So there are two possibilites for the relation that Outis and Moses have, the first being that they had previously passed each other in the Smoke War in the past, the second is that they had known each other through some relation to the Udjat or Diaz. Odysseus's most famous act of blinding a cyclops, and fooling Polyphemus by claiming to be named "nobody" or, in greek, "Outis". Outis's current name may suggest multiple things, the most striking of which is related to Limbus Companies relation with the Udjat as mentioned prior; There is a possibility that Outis's blinding of the cyclops, often assumed to be the Udjat even prior to this canto due to their motif being a singular eye, may be yet to happen. The theory of Outis being a traitor is nothing new, i think everyone knows that she isnt fully trustworthy (especially with her mention of killing tens of thousand in the past during the Sancho fight), however i rarely see people discuss the reasoning behind the betrayal, being that similar to Moses's current position taken in reverse, regretting her time working in the Udjat (we're getting presumptuous now) and repenting for it by blinding the cyclops from the inside, from within Limbus Company — This concept is furthered through Outis's sinner symbol (vaguely) resembling that of a horses snout, alongside Odysseus's relation to the Trojan Horse, a plan to invade and take troy from the inside (however this changes the timeline somewhat with the other theoretical aspects?), ok thats enough about military wife.

In the beginning of Canto 7's dungeon, we see Don Quixote's past memories, including her recruitment within Limbus Company and HOLY SHIT VERGIL IS A BLOODFIEND?

ok so, he didn't have or at least show any blood powers prior to manifesting EGO, we arent sure if a bloodfiend can fully manifest EGO either however its not out of the question due to Don's La Sangre De Sancho, even before he was a colour he possessed the same red eyes, which if im remembering correctly were stated to be a combat implement. However, in the flashback, Veggie claims that he, or rather, his *eyes* hold a higher generation than Don, which would of course be fist generation. Due to many reasons, I don't actually believe that Vigil is a bloodfiend, notably his clarification of "eyes". If we return to the basement of canto 6, Virtue's passives include one named "Eyes of a Friend Who [][][][]", redacted in the same manner that Catherine's name commonly is — I think that because of his clear distinction of his eyes possessing the higher generation, the statement that is made of them being combat implements, and the implication that the eyes were not originally his, i think that its safe to assume that this friend who [][][][] is a bloodfiend elder (hell it might even be the primogenitor i dont know). working on the assumption that [][][][] means "died", or means that they were somehow erased post-death, then there are multiple possibilities ive seen posed: the first, and im noting this purely out of spite because i still think im correct over this person, is that "Vinyl was bluffing about being a bloodfiend to intimidate Don". Personally, and only some offence meant to the person who posited this, i think that this isn't really a theory worth considering, not only is it more convoluted to assume that the oposite of what we've been told is true in an involuntary flashback seeing Don's past, but at the same time what use would Viate have to lie in that moment? His reaction immediately after wouldn't make sense without the bloodfiendish nature in place either, as, at least in my reading of the scene, Don's complete lack of reaction or primal fear (such that appears in the other bloodfiends when facing the wrath of an elder, such as Casseti in WARP), was what Viral used to judge that all of her bloodfiendish instincts were supressed.

Ok moving on from spite.

The second ive seen posed is that Virgo "diablerised" (or ate - in order to gain the power of, to non VTM players) a bloodfiend elder friend in the past. Due to the [redacted] nature of the phrasing within the passive name, unless Vexing is Chainsaw Man, i doubt this to be the case, unless somehow said [Friend] merged with Vroom-vroom in the past, becoming the same entity.

Similar but somewhat different to the previous theory is that the eyes were gifted post mortem to Vindigo-elder, which fits with the concept of them being implements.

personally, im just not really sure about this in any way shape or form.

Ive also seen some theories as to who Viori's "friend" was, and the most likely one ive seen posed... actually the only one ive seen posed, is that of Longinus, the soldier who stabbed Jesus on the cross, due to Vargalia's EGO having the crown of thorns, due to Virgil(real life one so he doesn't get a name change)'s relation to Catholicism through the Commedia, through the Roman links, and through the connection to both blood and water, as:

"One of the soldiers pierced his side with a lance, and immediately there came out blood and water.

I personally dont have too much to add to that theory, however i would like to take my own shot in the dark, enough shots and you've covered every angle:

My proposed [Friend] is Aeneas, whom, after dying, was never found a corpse, and was thereafter worshiped as a god. Aeneas has links to Virgil (once again, the historical one) due to his poem of the Aeneid, which was the first poem to properly weave together the many disparate strands of legend into the singular myth that stories were based on sense. There is also the obvious link to be made with the "golden bough" being the name of a chapter within the 6th book of the Aeneid, but that wasnt what prompted this it just helps at bit.

Im not talking on this at length, as i am far from an expert on the Commedia, and also because Loony Toons exists and is probably more likely to note a link between it and the rivers of the underworld (i dont know, ive not checked whats to be said about Canto 7 since release yet), but i want to note the different mythological rivers that are linked to the river of oblivion, or "Lethe" as Outis calls it.

Lethe, meaning forgetfulness or oblivion, is a river in the underworld with many literary ties, such as Goethe's Faust (part 2), the Commedia, Paradise Lost, and, arguably, The Wonderful Land of Oz, all of which are literature referenced by Project Moon at various points.

The Lethe is mentioned twice in the Commedia, once in the inferno, canto 34, flowing down into Cocytus, the river of "Lament", which freezes to form the 9th and final layer of hell, treachery. In the second Cantica, Purgatorio, the Lethe is mentioned again, in canto 31 of purgatorio, as being placed upon the hill of purgatory, within this river Dante is then submerged to forget all memories of sin, so that his body may move forth into paradise. The water containing the sin then flows down to contain satan in Cocytus.

somewhat interesting to note, as the game has been confirmed to be getting a Purgatorio and Paradisio, it is possible that this will come back later. Foreshadowing is a literary device in whic-

Another thing, back on Loony Tunes, if we're assuming their current timeline to be correct in terms of canto 7 being within the Circle of Violence, which is an assertion that i will return to at a later date, then its important to note that another river of the underworld is belonging to this ring, being Pyriphlegethon or Phlegethon, meaning flaming, which in the inferno, canto 12, is a river of Boiling blood which in the sinners of the ring are submerged in, (specifically those within the first sphere of the ring, for violence against your neighbours) — the blood motif is obvious, alongside the violence against ones neighbors; If we were to assume that the entirety of Canto 7 takes place within this river, then the next would take place in the second sphere, Violence against your self, but once again, i will return to this concept when you are older, by a few hours at least.

i think griffin snapped out of wishing he could fit in faster than robin did but i think a part of him would’ve still been taken by sterling’s privilege and “princely” demeanour as he’s described in the book LOL. and i feel like him being enamoured with sterling when they first meet and then slowly realising how actually awful he was over the years would’ve played a part in griffin’s disillusionment of babel and just personally adds another interesting layer to griffin/his cohort’s dynamic to me. like im theorising but i feel like it makes sense that anthony wouldn’t have been fooled, while griffin’s proximity to whiteness and privilege afforded him rose-tinted glasses and equal footing with sterling for a while, similar to robin.

and sterling clearly…. “reciprocates” is a terrible word to use in this context but like he’s clearly just as haunted by griffin, if not even more so. like the shooting scene obviously, where he doesn’t give a shit if he dies as long as he takes griffin down with him, but also this bit when he first meets robin

and then when he can’t help himself from retreading his arguments with griffin during his interrogation , comparing them constantly + using the chinese metaphor of badgers from the same mound, etc. griffin reaches this point where imo sterling is a constant reminder of his faults and an awful and repeating obstacle to his goal of revolution, but still just an obstacle. whereas destroying griffin is sterling’s final goal. which i guess makes sterling bi in my head too but i care way less abt his racist ass so 😭 diversity loss this racist is bi etc etc

i think it’s fun and fitting if griffin was more obsessed (/pos) with sterling early in their relationship, while sterling grows more obsessed (/neg) with griffin towards the end. so like. yaoi is not the word i would use to describe the griffin sterling relationship but homoerotic definitely is 😭😭

(also bc i feel like i have to clarify sometimes, obviously sterling is horrendously repulsively racist and he and griffin’s dynamic is deeply unhealthy so this is not me “shipping” it as much as it is like. fleshing out griffin’s past and relationships in ways that i find interesting to his character.)

Does anyone else remember how weirdly toxic the MK Fandom was around MKx era? Becuase I do.

Those like handful of blogs that were just getting into beef with random Kano fans and their whole thing was "Kanno is a peice of shit! And so are you for liking this fictional antagonist!!!" I remember a few who put anti-Kano in thier description of their blog and it was just a hobby to shame people for drawing Kano fanart or liking the character in any way. (And a small revival with mk11 since they made him fuzzy for that game lmao)

Weird uncomfortable age gap shipping... That whole thing about that one artist that drew Cassie cage/subzero stuff and a shit ton of people were like "uh, he's friends with her dad and is like 52. So that's kinda weird." But then it also turned into a headcanon argument bc people were like "yeah subzero definitely watched Cassie cage grow up and he was a part of her childhood." Wich is so funny looking back at it bc there was no need for people to theorise anything about the characters relationship any further than what is Canon for it to be weird.

That fucking Sektor fan who just casually wrote headcanons about Sektor being a huge fucking racist for no goddamn reason?????!?!??? The headcanon specifically was about how they ship him and Cyrax and how Sektor calls him slurs and physically, mentally, and sexually abuses him as part of thier romantic relationship????????????? And they even gave examples of the horribly racist things he says to him¿¿¿? And that Cyrax was just okay with it??? And ended the post with like " I love my evil little man 🥰" No trigger warnings on the post either and when they were critiqued for it they were like "it's realistic and it's just my personal headcanons and you don't have to agree. Sektor is my comfort character and this is just how i see him." -type shit. (Deeper lore about said person. I actually interacted with them way before the headcanon thing. They approached me wanting to rp and they were so controlling they were basically just telling me what to do the whole time. super rude and impatient. So they just suckedl lol.)

Art blogs getting wierd asks that requested them to draw the fem characters in what was very obviously kink art but the asker would ask it in a way to trick the artist into making free fetish art for them. I got so many requests back in the day to "could you draw mileena for me :) but with her jaw wired shut? :)" or "could you draw kitana wereing a new pair of flip flops for me? That would make my day." like ????? Vague to the point of its sus but there were alot of minors in the fandom at the time including myself, i was in highschool at the time. but I was raised on deviantart so I could smell a wierd fetish from a mile away. But I did see other young artists fulfill these requests and several of them completely unaware that they were drawing kink art. Kink art is cool. But not when you're tricking minors into drawing it for you for free. (There was this mileena anon that was the most common one and I swear it was the same dude bc it was always something to do with with her getting her jaw wired shut, her getting bracess, or some other hardware being attached to her jaw/teeth.)

I'm a bit scared abt how "the admin team is not going to intervene with creator's lore" bullet point is worded cause like I don't??? Know to what extent this goes. I might be bad at inferring what this means I just hope it doesn't mean literally leaving creators to their own devices 100%

Like there are some creators lore that's kinda dependent on admins and their coordination behind the scenes, for stuff like custom player models or NPCs interacting, little mentions in official federation things and integration into the full storyline of this whole quesadilla island. Like as much as 100% freedom in theory is great, you really need someone to try and corral the plot points to at least make sense or at least convene at certain points. Otherwise it's a whole lot of stuff that contradicts itself. They still need a DM or a few of them to supervise and lead the players down a proper path instead of them going hog ass wild. Otherwise you end up with parts that don't make sense, and people fucking up schedules

Not to beat the dead horse but dsmp kinda suffered from this sort of issue and they went about it in a really bad way from nlm onwards. From og lman to manberg it had more of a RPG feel and that was in part because there was still the strong main plot, the big event that everyone prepped for. And the subplots were plentiful and still could act as their own separate stories. But then things started to have their own separate scripts and people had to produce a lot of things themselves and then slot of storylines splintered away. Things felt too exclusive and it was all over the place. The magic of RP is gone because it relied to heavily on pre-made events and not about organic choices in response

A lot of magic of QSMP lore was kinda that ttrpg shit, event and response and allowing own growth. A lot of great character moments were like that (first example I can think of is well elquackity elections and maxhalo coordinating to get him out of the running, that last show was phenomenal). Another thing is that there is sort of a magic to players themselves theorising and strategizing with the situation, it gave us the Theory Bros then into Ordo Theoritas

I believe in qommunication smp though, I have faith the lore will be good, I've just been burned before and I know just how bad it feels (like I was a cfundy main I never win)

I feel like having him pass away might be a bit of a harsh sentence, but I’ll leave that up for debate… The hooking up with either Helion or Eris…I dread to think what sort of drama that would land her in if she actually did either of them, but hey, it’s all fictional, why not theorise?

I think between the two of them (theoretically) Helion would be the better choice, since I don’t think Eris has allowed reader close enough that he’d be openly affectionate with her—which I think is some of what she needs, most of all 👀

Helion though, I think they would bond well, both with the scholar aspect and with Helion probably being much more open—I imagine it wouldn’t be too dissimilar from how her relationship was with Bas when they were still intimately sleeping together? And plus I think just reader getting to visit elsewhere is something she’d love to do after her trip to autumn and getting to see the different things 👀

for those that are blissfully unaware, tiktok is becoming the new 2014 tumblr in terms of eating disorders and trends that revolve around trying to make people insecure about normal human body parts. can't pinpoint exactly when it started, im theorising around when y2k started to come back in fashion. but it's gotten to a point where people are outright putting a heavy emphasis on the fact that being skinny is superior? i guess?

influencers are posting about their horrendous diets in the form of "what i eat in a day" videos, but some go as far as to outright talk about their disordered eating in a glamorous way while doing their makeup and showing off their body.

the parts of the body that these people deem as ugly are frankly shocking for lack of a better word. people have been making up insecurities about the most mundane, essentially universal features of the human body. im not even sure how to word this because it's so ridiculous to explain out loud (im using voice to text rn). to name a couple: nose gap, which is the space between the bottom of your nose and your top lip (there should be a space there, by the way.) strawberry legs, which are the dots on your legs where the hair follicles are? im not even entirely sure because its just something on my body that ive never paid attention to.

the "micro insecurities" have gone so far that somebody essentially made the "toothpasting" of the modern day?? LMAO 

during a rant video, @ superkeara made up (what was intended to be) a hyperbolic version of one of these pseudo-insecurities, dubbed "vuvuzela arms." vuvuzela arms are when the top of your arm is bigger than your forearm, also known as how an arm works, that was the joke. but people took it seriously, not in that they straight up missed the joke, but more the fact that shit in this vein is so inherently ridiculous that it fit in with its more genuine counterparts. and i would find it much more funny if it weren't something that people actually found a way to be insecure about. i generally like tiktok as a platform but its main user base is becoming concerning.

to add: people also make videos saying that "we need to normalise (whatever pseudo insecurity they're talking about)" or "(whatever pseudo insecurity they're talking about) is sexy" which i suppose is vaguely better because they're encouraging people to like these parts of themselves? but at the same time, please stop making a thing of something that is nowhere even close to the blast radius of a thing.

i've known about the re-rise of eating disorder culture and fatphobia on tiktok for a bit over a year now, but i wasnt actually aware of how deeply ingrained its become, especially among kids. even with ozempic specifically, i thought it was a lot less mainstream and stayed within the sphere of LA influencers with podcasts. but no, random teenagers (and potentially younger) are trying / wanting to go on blood thinners to get skinnier.

if any of my following spends a majority of time on tiktok and sees these videos as something to take to heart: please don't listen when beauty influencers tell you that a part of your body is something that needs to be fixed. if you thought it was normal your entire life, and now somebody is making up a term to tell you that it isn't, youre probably the right one in this situation. a gap between your nose and your lips, dots on your legs, and whatever the fuck vuvuzela arms are, theyre all fine and should not be put on the same level as wisdom teeth or an appendix. 

and before anyone points it out, i know that fatphobia has never fully gone away, that much is obvious. but there is certainly a lot more now compared to 3-5 years ago, especially on tiktok, and ESPECIALLY targeted towards kids.

I never really *liked* the canon explanation that it was lily’s love that saved him, because most mothers love their children enough to die for them so how was lilys love enough and not theirs? Just the way he happened to kill her first somehow triggered that magic? But I’ve always gone with it because I try to stick to the canon rules as much as possible… though the idea that she did something more is pretty appealing, she was a really talented witch canonically and it would make a lot of sense that she would do a shit ton of research about how she could protect her only son after the prophecy came out!

we know the susie relationships. everyone cherishes kris and susies friendship. id say it comes first if anything. people vaguely appreciate her and ralsei as well - we had plenty of hangout opportunities for the two, there are even two or three comics about ralsei and his beef with her. friendship content. dynamic exploring

kris and ralsei presentation however includes but is not limited to: dry interaction (choose your flavour: kris/kris as player projection aka the thing everyone did with ch1 ralsei cutesy content), dry interaction 2.0 aka The Sillies/ralsei as sole background commenter in goofyass situations/the normal dude (may or may not include in-game shit), kris' resentment of ralsei (at least theyre getting creative), and finally mushy romantic couple shit and sugarcoating tropes

vc: and you could excuse that with a "oh, well but we dont know anything about ralseis backstory" yet we hardly know anything about susies either. we only theorise of her past related to adoption, being homeless, insert other determinators based material. we factually know very little of her, yet susie has established friendships with both kris and ralsei, even well-written fan content with noelle that is not limited by surface romance but rather the exploration of their dynamic, friends first, partners - second.

as in for either of them being morally gray? susie has no problems with that and i love her, we love her, the_newest_girl sweepstakes log hasnt changed anything. i do have a theory on how that could affect ralsei, though. might contemplate on that.

so susie has all that. kris, their nature still unknown to most, but overall sympathetic with a shade of gray morality (HEEEELLL YEAAA) has the similar spectrum. kris has all that.

with them and ralsei though? its like. not a single plate of them as a dynamic. as actual friends

and honestly its no wonder kralsei is getting rejected from lightner ship/old darkner ship communities

we present no base. no fundamental understanding or interpretation of them

...though i wish id browse through deltarune tag more legitimately and take samples every time i see kris and ralsei on-screen to have a list of categories for each interaction to sort them like legos by shapes and colours.

there was one.ONE comic of them that kept the hopes up. this is why kralsei is stayin alive. that, and tunas scarf thingy. our icon (shhhh hes seepy)

i, uh, dont have a conclusion. i remember writing it because i wish we actually came up with who they are. wish that even they had conflicts and resolutions, similarities and differences, like any other dynamic in the fanon, having multiple headcanons and interpretations.

OH MY GOD UM im really not sure???? as far as i can remember ive always been writing

i was a freakishly verbose child ( I CALLED MY SISTER AN IMBECILE WHEN I WAS 3??? ) and very ahead in terms of reading and writing because kno. The Autism. i was reading like actually Reading adult-level encyclopedias for fun from when i was like, 3 or something so ive always been into literature and i think it just kinda spawned from there?? i was writing stories and keeping them in punched pockets, writing plays and fanfiction and stories on microsoft word, so it was something i always did afaik

if there was a key point i don't remember it, but there are some things that stick out to me; once when i was around 11?i got a pokemon fan magazine that had honest to god fanfiction in it and that was like. immense to me. like you're telling me other people write about their favourite franchises like this?? and after that i really started taking stuff more seriously in regards to how i was writing another was when i was. ??? unsure but my teacher at the time wrote on my work "remember me when you are a famous author :)" and that sticks with me to this day. she was kind of a huge bitch but that was such a genuinely moving comment and i think abt it a lot sometimes

and a lot of little things too. like being told by online friends that i was an amazing writer for my age, or my english teacher being legitimately visibly excited to talk about my writing. so yea :3

Are you happy with how your favorite canon muse was portrayed in canon?

HMMM. in terms of raikov i Think so ? but i do wish we had got more of him. and specifically more of his relationship with volgin because they're very cute together. idk if i've mentioned it here before but i theorise that their relationship was initially meant to play a larger part in mgs3, because mgs is known for having very multi-layered and complex villains, and volgin isn't really shown as one. and yeah that's likely what they were going for with a more bond-esque narrative, but the fact he's constantly portrayed as evil personified WHILE ALSO having parts that shows he genuinely loves and cares abt someone... idk. it feels like they wanted to make that more prominent to add more depth to his character but they just didn't

SO REALLY thats my only critique, i wish we had seen more of him interacting with the other characters rather than nameless npcs. i'm kind of content with him being a mostly blank slate, though -- it means i can do a lot more work on him :3
