If I ever become a detective and see that a victim has a cat, you bet your ass I'm going to check for its DNA/hair at/on crime scenes, cars, people, etc. Because I know that cats hair will be anywhere the victim has been since it's on their clothes almost all the time.
What? This case is cold because you couldn't find the victims dna is a car? Check for cat hair and cross reference with the one the victim has. Boom! Case solved!
seb wants to be pet, too 😤💕
((TYSM to @angel-fr0m-venus for asking how seb would react to clora petting all the cats around the school/hogsmeade BAHAHA. like a neglected puppy, thats how🐶))
a lot of people in fandom spaces will hate/demonize female characters for the same reasons they love/romanticize male characters and sometimes it’s not holding male villains/anti heroes accountable for their actions the way that female villains/anti heroes are and sometimes it’s hating female heroes/anti heroes for their personalities/flaws/attributes/trauma responses whilst romanticizing male characters for having the same or very similar characterization?? like hi why so many double standards??
ALSO some of these characters are teenagers??teenagers are really fucking messy, like they’re not gonna make perfect decisions all the time and they might seem unlikeable at times bc they’re … still children …??
cw: incoherent rambling, im still going through it™, unbeta'd++all mistakes are mine
grim being a selfish brat is the point of his character arc. when you're told to claw for your survival in a prestigious yet hostile magical academy, when you're told that the weak must obey the strong, of course you're going to make use of what little advantages are given to you. that means demanding your henchman to do your every bidding and taking any opportunity to prove your strength.
kindness, consideration, compassion, empathy - they don't have a place in NRC. or so it seems.
the great thing about him starting the story with an obnoxious and abrasive personality is in how he awkwardly navigates his first ever friendships. in the sweetness of the rare scene where kinship just clicks for him, where his boasts and complaints become banter, where he feels like he gets to belong, to have a home.
and there's something deeply tragic about grim too, the fact that he's going to be left alone when yuu returns to their original world. what will happen to his student status? will he have to move out of the ramshackle dormitory? can he make it through his studies without you at his side?
when the first person who gave you kindness leaves, what are you supposed to do? will you say goodbye or will you fight to keep them?
Okay, I don't know if this has been said before, or if it's just like a basic idea that everyone knows and I'm very late to understand it, or maybe I'm just looking in places that don't need to be looked at, so forgive me (ha) if it is, but...
"You know, the current word from upstairs is that we'll be shutting this all down again in about 6,000 years."
Is this foreshadowing? Like, not just for Armageddidn't in S1, which was obviously what Aziraphale was referring to in this scene. But maybe, just maybe, it's foreshadowing whatever is to come in S3.
Obviously, by "we", Aziraphale meant Heaven/the angels as a whole, because they were the only ones around back then.
But what if it has a double meaning? Will Aziraphale and Crowley (inadvertently, I'd presume) shut down not just Earth, but the universe? Will it be just Aziraphale? Just Crowley? I mean, surely if Crowley and Aziraphale were the ones to start up the universe, they can be the ones to end it, too...
no i do not have a high opinion on ppl who let their cats stay outside are u not afraid that ur cat is gonna get attacked by a wild animal or hunt down birds that may be rare or get rabies or other diseases or get run over by cars or
do you have any idea how many cats ive had to take to the shelter that were run over or chewed to near death that, when taken to the vet, ended up being tagged and belonged to someone that just let them go outside whenever? theyre not wild animals. theyre capable of surviving out there but cats are stupid dude
"[My Dad, Brother and I] all got matching Stanley Cup tattoos on our quads!"
"Let's see it! Let's see it! Stand up real quick! Let me see you!"
"'Let's see it!' Look at that."
"It's just a little guy! It's just a little guy!"
"I love it!"
"It's just a little guy, but yeah, no...Sam Bennett, Anthony Stolarz, Monty, and Steve Lorentz—we all got em like 2 days later. It was fun! We were all—you know, no sleep, straight into the tattoo estab—"
"Oh sure! You woke up and you were like, 'Huh, I got something on—"
"Oskar Sundqvist did the same thing, man!"
"I like it! I'm a fan of it! I really like it! And the fact that we all have the same one is pretty cool!"
"Let's see that hair real quick! What do you got going? Let's see what you got going—Oh, God! Andy!"
"What?"
"Geez, he's got that Swede in you!"

i also think the fact that i had such a stunted and isolated upbringing and now that im an adult all my friends are on atypical life paths (and honestly even my friends as a kid were like this too) means i find things that are usually very common life stages really interesting. like knowing someone who has a house and a wife and 2 kids (with that wife) and a job with a salary feels like meeting fucking paul bunyun to me. or hearing the kids i work with talk about graduating high school and going to college and being on a real path with that stuff is neat? or even sometimes knowing cis/het people who are like going thru that coming of age stuff that i never really experienced the way you see it in the movies bc of transness/queerness/neurodivergence. its like woah they said the name of the thing in the thing. do u know what i mean???
