YEAH LIKE... I DON'T THINK THERES ENOUGH EXPLORATION OF JASON AS SIR NEVER-MET-A-FIRE-HE-COULDNT-THROW-KEROSENE ON. the makes it worse guy!!! bc like Jason CAN be so completely earnest but thats on rarer occasions, most of the time he's an absolute cunt. and he is playing mind games like you wouldn't believe, jason would be winning the chess match even WITHOUT eating the pieces but baby he just does it for the love of the game!!!!

and honestly im really interested in like. the juxtaposition btwn that and jason being a little bit obsessed with tim in the way where. god, post-resurrection jason is SO lonely and SO unwell about it. and like i said originally all these comics are bad to the point where I don't necessarily expect other people to incorporate them into their interpretation of jason so if someone wants to be like "actually i think jason should think tim sucks and be deeply unimpressed with him" ykw thats fair. but i mean. god. okay i mentioned all of these in my original post but im going to actually post panels now to talk about hang on. (atp im less in conversation with the person im reblogging from and more just rambling again lmao, sorry)

but god i do think its SO funny that canon post crisis jason actually thinks pretty highly of tim, the guy he repeatedly wipes the floor with

like. okay so first of all I understand that jason having delved into fucking tim drake lore to find this out was not an active characterization choice, it was bad writing. jason knows this bc the reader knows it. but in-universe this is not like. common knowledge. talias opinion on tim drake begins and ends with "spends too much time on those computers of his." he could access various peoples files on tim but to extrapolate this level of *correct* information from what ppl would feasibly write down or even know in the first place? HES THOUGHT ABOUT THIS A LOT.

AND HE DOESNT BELIEVE ITS POSSIBLE BC HE THINKS ITS JUST SO. VERY. IMPRESSIVE. its so goofy like its sooooo goofy!!!!!

AND I MEAN-- i only read as much into the picture wall in lost days as i do bc i already ship it but like. its there. it sure is fucking there.

anyway what we have here is like. the Jason-Liker's Dilemma, where its like we have to cherry pick through bad comics and massively inconsistent characterization to decide what we'll incorporate into our personal canon and this is really one of those where. even though the actual canon is pretty clear that jason thinks highly of tim and keeps seeking him out im not going to argue with anyone who wants to be like "postcrisis jason hated him actually" bc like. whos to say, maybe the comics youre pretending exist would have actually been good instead of bad.

but to ME these instances took root in my brain and now im just like. jason todd wants to crack tim open like an otter with an oyster jason wants to crawl inside him like a tauntaun jason needs to get RIGHT UP IN THERE and figure out what the fuck his deal is. and i think it is very interesting to contemplate how he would go about doing this if given the opportunity.

this is getting way too long....... im just going to send it. lol

the fact that preboot jason never found out tim took jason red robin costume once he "got fired" (-tim, only in the privacy of his own head)/"graduated" (-dick, well-meaning)/"got thrown out with the other garbage" (-damian, hilarious)/"left" (-tim out loud, ignoring them both)

the way tim (reliable narrator) was like. yeah this costume is already tainted and i have to be willing to do morally gray things to prove bruce is alive. so thats why im wearing it. because its tainted. this is the most logical course of action and also the only reasonable explanation i retroactively landed on for a decision i already made

tim also having no way of knowing what the universe jason GOT THAT COSTUME IN WAS LIKE OR WHAT BRUCE DID FOR JASON IN THAT UNIVERSE

and its like well MY interpretation is that. yeah of course he wants to take on one of the outcast's identities to bring bruce back. and then of course hes going to just hang it up when bruce comes back because hes going to stop feeling like an outcast just as soon as bruce comes back and everything goes back to normal. This definitely doesnt signify a major change in the status quo or his role in the family (he *is* still family they signed the papers and everything, they gave him the name, it wasnt just pity its real hes still family he *is*, he hasn't been cast out, he *hasnt*) or his priorities or-- its temporary. when bruce comes back everything is going to be better and he wont need this suit anymore and hes going to hang it up just as soon as he stops feeling this way and everything is going to be fine.

smash cut to bruce upon his return doling out one (1) hug and immediately fucking off on a globe trotting vanity project and Tim just left staring after him like Oh. okay

(and like bruce was never like. going to be able to magically fix anything even if he *had* any interest in doing so. this was not a reasonable expectation tim had. some of the shit tim is losing his absolute marbles over does not actually even *need* to be "fixed." to be excessively clear.)

anyway i think jason "do you really think youre that good" "so work *with* me" "join me. be my robin" todd deserved the chance to really gleefully dig his fingers into every single one of those sore spots. GO FOR IT JASON. MAKE HIM WORSE

also like. god battle for the cowl was so unserious on every possible level but can you imagine if dick at the time had been like "i still cant figure out how he GOT OUT OF PRISON. he used the jla codes! how did he even get those!" and tim (guy who gave jason the fucking codes in robin 182) was just like

oh me too.... I don't think there's a single character thats NOT a hot mess, and theres so many of them that it would have a few full seasons of shenanigans. the character dynamics...

-everyone having a crush on pereskia. (she is extremely aro and too focused on Important Matters to actually notice)

-arilla doing way more jobs than he SHOULD be and being an exasperated babysitter to everyone. please just let him eat an entire cake alone and drop into a food coma. thats all he wants hes already half dead!! let him rest!!!

-queen's the horribly demanding boss that you dont want to say no to, because..she IS nice, don't wanna hurt her FEELINGS, but...my goodness she asks a LOT. but she asks it so nicely!!! (the running gag of her being so proper and pretty in public vs in the lab when shes a mess, too) + queen and arilla both being the worst at fighting. the episode where pereskia, worried queen might not do so well if shes not there to act as a body guard, tries to teach her to fight and its the most pathetic flailing youve ever seen in your life. she gets a LITTLE sweaty and just curls up bc its TOO HARD and shes SORE and doesnt want to be sweaty anymore :( (she has done (1) push-up, with shaky arms)

-sapote and cara being an entire comedic duo. cara's culture shock abt the aliens vs sapote never being shocked by humans bc shes so down for anything. (all of the other aliens are shocked by how unphased sapote always is) sapote and her sister being SOOO opposites (her sister is older, more mature, and way sweeter. and also a crybaby) +the daycare shenanigans vs how...it would very quickly devolve into an r rated series if sapote was the main focus and we werent around any kid or teen charas jkdhfkj it would turn into. magical girl rick and morty im sorry to say but its the truth

-saguaro and queen's little passive aggressive talks every time they speak to each other. 'oh im sorry was it SCIENCE that brought deep blue back the first time? noo it was the miracle of mew aqua miss queen ^_^' 'mew aqua IS science from our ancestors ^_^' 'no, i think you're mistaken! there's no way thats true it was a gift from deep blue ^___^' ...everyone deciding saguaro is a weirdo (they are ALL weirdos) but then it cuts to saguaro explaining WHY they do things in their particular way (explaining deep blue cult stuff) and its like oh ok! theres an entire cult on this ship! haha thats probably fine! but they keep insisting its SUPER normal guys cmon. also using it to justify anything they do. deep blue sama WOULD want you to give them that bag of tea and pastries u stole from the cafe btw he told them himself. not lying btw. true and if you dont well. PERHAPS deep blue will tell them to put a tack on your chair.

-erdisia having to take a workplace sensitivity class bc she keeps trash talking humans. sure, we want to kill ALL OF THEM, but! you ought to speak nicer abt them when cara's around!!! :/ (none of them see the irony in this btw except arilla whos regularly just staring directly into the camera like :\ ) every ep she tries to sabotage cara so SHE can work with sapote senpai instead. this is always thwarted in extremely looney toons fashion and its so frustrating to her but hilarious to watch. tunillo is in the same sensitivity class. but they, and this is important, cannot STAND each other and refuse to believe they have any of the same issues (or their humanphobia is even an issue)

-tunillo refusing to sleep for a week and starts being increasingly paranoid and hallucinating things on the screens he monitors bc hes so sleep deprived. so every other hour hes setting off red alerts and everyones panicked trying to find the. fake threats...that increasingly become more absurd...but by the end everyones incredibly unhinged and worn out by the end because theyve been on high alert all day...so they dont believe tunillo when he spots team tm2 actually breaking into the ship HAHA

-cara catches a (mild, normal) human cold, and everyone else catches it and are convinced theyre gonna die of Human Cooties. rip. and like, queen is a doctor. like, shes a scientist, and shes a doctor, technically speaking! but no one with a brain* TRUSTS her to do regular doctor things (*sapote and arilla are outliers adn should not be counted.) but in the event of everyone getting sick, she WANTS to play doctor!!! please just let her poke you with a LITTLE needle 🥺 she wont do anything weird she promisessss u wont wake up tomorrow glowing purple or anything 🥺🥺🥺

-cara calling tunillo an incel gamer type and he has NO idea what ANY of those DIRTY EARTH WORDS mean but hes SO insulted bc of her tone that he goes and rats on her to queen. queens like, cara honey sweetie my dear little snake child. what does gamer mean? and cara turning red trying not to to laugh. and shes like ohh no worries maam. gamer is a COMPLIMENT. and her and sapote and arilla are trying SO hard. so hard. not to laugh bc queen spends the week telling everyone theyre being such GOOD gamers!!!

-sapote continuing to bring human things on the ship, and people asking cara what they are since shes their resident human. and cara just starts, at some point. lying? for her own entertainment? theres not much else To Do when ur So Watched all the time. so its like oh yeah! well THAT is an item of HUGE importance to us, used in very sacred ceremonies. very ancient and beloved. and it cuts to a shot of a toilet plunger.

-cara and sapote dont have clearance to certain areas. (cara even less than sapote!) they want to GO in certain areas sometimes. (well. sapote does, and cara is obligated to follow her) so it stands to reason they just. they just gotta get the fingerprint of someone who DOES have that clearance! like arilla! sapote knocks him over the head and the entire episode is them trying to weekend at burnies him around to explore the ships more closed off areas. but they keep being stopped by EVERYONE because EVERYONE needs SOMETHING from arilla, all of the time. forever.

-the running joke of erdisia being some kind of Creeture, like. why is she like that in general? crouched in the rafters hissing. can someone get her down. shes tiny but so so so mean. there would be erdisia roast comp videos of all her sickest burns.

-all of them enabling each others worst behaviors. its like if its always sunny was set in a scifi setting. an episode where mira gets kidnapped or something and is like wow! all of you are really messed up :/

-...the quiche commentary corner where it cuts to him in his cell making comments on everything (dont ask how he can know whats going on. its not important whats important are his opinions) he hears abt mira and is like ohh. so. do you think them having a mew kid is gonna add stress? to like, ichigo and masaya's marriage? u think theres a chance of divorce? think I got a shot maybe? ik its been 20+ years but 🤔 instead of caring abt the drama of queens upper circle, LMAO

My fandom Beliefs..

never quite understood why ppl need posts like this, but i think i get it now.. its mostly about kpts ofc but i decided to go through other fandoms as well while im at it.. so.. in order to avoid any further awkward interactions and unpleasant surprises here are my preferences and Opinions on controversial topics (that seem completely asinine, yet somehow garner strong opinions). may not correlate with what i post on the daily, but this holds more creditability lol. nothing is negotiable, everything is a subject to Revision bc 1) im unstable lol 2) the more you know..

BUT like this topic is not hot for me, bc im not sure if any other company currently available in TH BL industry could have done any better. STILL i can see that ppl on tumblr for some reason like to defend boc even when they really really screw up big time, so if you feel the urge to defend them reading this pls DNI pond: dont really care, but his chase for fame is Amusing. and as a ceo all the companys pros and cons are largely on him kpwt: dont really care, if it sells it sells, they seem to be having fun with it. "but its cringe" - i dont think with these categories, if you do not like it, just dont watch it, like i havent seen 50% of it and im like content abt it the novel: its trash daemi: its trash shipping kimchi and/or jeffbarcode: not my cup of tea, but if it floats your boat go right ahead, im not the one to judge what i ship: kp (but its yk.. lukewarm), jeffbible (i honestly believe this is the only sincere rs in the cast regardless of its nature), apo with Happiness (regardless of its form) do i think my faves are perfect: well nope, clearly not, look at their frens cracking r*pe jks like they are being paid for it and we are only being shown the tip of that iceberg. i mean tell me whos your friend.. but i just think that my faves are better than yours 😎 bc yk jks abt age and bad habits (esp based ones) are just jks, jks abt r*pe are never just jks

YR: 97% omar rudberg, 3% malte gårdinger well im not that deep in other fandoms, so just some potentially controversial things off the top of my head wilmon endgame: well ig? otherwise what all of this was for? but honestly idc, if they decide to make it dramatically realistic i would understand second season: yeah no sorry i didnt like it, i watched it and i immediately forgot abt it. all i got out of it is that omar is super hot, which i already was aware abt. its sorta sad bc first season was lifechanging for me and also it was one of the few shows i have actually watched more than once . i will still wait for s03, but my expectations are low shipping edmar: not my thing, but generally its ok in my book if done respectfully (eg dont stalk dont send death threats dont let them see your sexual fantasies abt them etc) nurbo: uhh.. are they still 2gether? anyways idc what i ship: honestly nothing id like omar for myself lol (see there's no need to hate on his real and/or fictional partner in this situation). but omar+malte would be super hottt

TWN: 70% jaskier, 30% yennefer books: didnt read but like i Respect them and i understand that twn is a shit adaptation that missed everything that was possible to miss abt the books lauren: yeah i dont like her shes largely off putting geraskier: yeah i sorta ship it but i use the other half only as a shipping tool for jaskier, like you can replace it with anyone else, i wouldn't even notice (yeah, i know, the irony) blood origin: boring and unnecessary what i ship: geraskier and yennskier, which is groundbreaking bc i dont usually ship het, but its just so delicious honorable mention: you will see me randomly hatin on ciri, bc I JUST DONT LIKE HER LET ME BE

watcher: 50.95% shane, 49.05% ryan my toxic trait is believing that this fandom is drama free (pls forgive me this blissful ignorance) and the only controversial topic is shyan: yes i ship it baby. cmon i think the boys are also into it. in a fun way ofc, not a full on delulu mode. ofc i dont believe that they be casually fucking, but the thought is largely Entertaining. you know its there and if its there its there 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ once again no stalking, death threats, porn where they can see it, keeping it civil 😌

Well if you want me to keep going outside of tags ill gladly obige bc boy do i have so many THOUGHTS. These bitches are gonna be stuck on a space ship together for however long theres so much that can happen like for example:

- idk the character from miracle nikki obvs but what youve laid down is already so interesting bc im just imagining these 2 otherworldy beings (even if theyre human theyre still otherworldly ig xD) explaining what the deal is and suddenly the Trash Nobel cale henituse pipes asking actually useful questions like “is the culture different than ours?” And “do they speak the same language as us or do we have to learn a new one?”

- cale is mia for like three days, making the henituse worry frantically, before he shows up with aforementioned documents, books, pie-charts, graphs etc etc on the population, culture, language, etc. cale thinks its the most normal thing in the world and he tries to lock himself in his assigned room to work on it further. He is very surprised to find people not avoiding his existence

- eric is tasked with finding out what the fuck. Cale is like “its very simple really” and then rants for about 2 hours about how to do population analysis and what hes found earth is like “i mean i managed to do it when i was 8, its just that now im doing it based off actual numbers instead of novels and gossip” “what do you mean. Cale henituse, WHAT DO YOU MEAN.”

- alongside with finding a bunch of music, cale finds out abt earth fashion after a week and he tries out a different of clothing style every day: rocker chique, old money, new money, preppy, dark academia etc etc (“cale what… what are you wearing” “on earth they call this fashion aestheric ‘bratzcore’ and its very ‘trendy’. Apparently they show a lot more skin in south korea than in roan.”)

- cale likes carly rae jepsen

- i think the trash cale suddenly mellowing out and actually being friendly with the new people would freak people out. Lily takes it as a chance for her to get closer to cale herself, but basen is initially too shy and hes very jealous of aeon and marina. Cale is still under the impression that people dont like him (his trash act was superb after all) so hes very surprised when suddenly his siblings wanna hang out a bunch

- also idk if people can die on this ship but im sure that at some point people would try to kill eachother (cough, venion, cough). Cue murder mystery, cale solving it way too quickly and alver wanting cale to work for him rlly rlly badly (ive made another post sorr of like this but rehashing plots is my specialty LMAO)

- cale finds out about the earth hobby ‘bedrotting’ and is absolutely delighted. Eric and his family are incredibly worried that hes suddenly staying in bed all day and just looking at the ceiling after being active with his earth research for ~2 months. They think he is depressed. He isnt and has everything under control. (Hes totally depressed 💀)

- cale eventually decides to work with alver bc he thinks alver would be the best person to introduce their worlds’ population to the earth population when they arrive. They work on immigration plans together, like planning out housing matters, making korean language courses (especially for all the kids, no matter what class they were originally from), culture courses, actually maybe they just make a whole curriculum for people to distribute and learn. When alver asks how much korean cale knows, cale can already write whole sentences. Alver doesnt know why hes surprised at this point

- maybe some slowburn ogalbecale after they find they work together so well and them spending time together ;0

- Eric: “cale, this is an intervention. You made a whole personality for yourself, and youve insinuated that your alcoholism and anger issues were from a similarly crafted persona. Talk to us!” Cale: “I dont see the problem?? My friend alver over here has been doing the exact same thing so it cant be *that* concerning” Tasha: “…alver, this is an intervention-“

- concensus: YOU IDIOTS YOU CAN JUST BE YOURSELVES STOP TRYING TO ALTER YOURSELVES SO PEOPLE WILL PERCEIVE YOU A DIFFERENT WAY THATS MENTAL ILLNESS BEHAVIOR. ESPECIALLY YOU CALE GOD SO HELP ME…

- i have no idea if this would be bad worldbuilding but idc i had this thought where maybe even tho obvs their status doesnt mean much anymore (at most its just leftover social customs staying in place somewhat) everyone gets their own credit card with rhe amouny of money they had in their og world digitalized. The henituse go from completely neutral to the most powerful family (bc they have the most money). The crossmans also have a lot of money but alver knows his family is gonna have issues w him so hes extra relieved to have connections with cale

Ngl, the Ark of Miracle Nikki sounds like the perfect way to get characters transmigrate from a world to other.

I mean, imagine most people from TBOAH getting suddenly teleported into a massive (techno? magic? fashion inspiration fueled?) flying ship, which can travel through the space-time, because "your world is doomed because of an asshole. We're so sorry. Please feel free to use the facilities and rest until we arrive to your new home".

Besides, I would really like to have og!Cale befriend Aeon and Marina. They would get along, specially having in count that "new world" means their nobility is nothing. He wouldn't need to hide himself and they aren't from his world, so no precoinceived ideas.

Besides, Marina is a kid. Og!Cale would look at this cheerful lively kid and wouldn't be able to hold back his big brother instincts. "She's a lot like Lily when she was a toddler", he probably would think. (Because, yes, I headcanon that og!Cale spent a lot of time with Lily when no one was around and she was still "too young to remember". Lily isn't sure whether she dreamed it all or not)

And imagine Aeon introducing modern music to og!Cale. Og!Cale, who may had learned music when he was a kid (classic noble kid activity), liking many of these various styles of music, all so different from the elegant ones the noble likes and the vivid ones he heard at the streets and bars. Then Marina telling him that Aeon also writes songs, but warning him not to listen them in a way too serious tone (she's such a gremlin).

And between all that you still have the tboah characters aclimatizing to the idea of a new world, fixing relationships, and planning what to do now that their status mean shit (poor royal family. Ha.)

ive said it before but gorillaz kinda lost me after phase 4ish. as much as i love seeing/getting new content, it doesn't necessarily mean its good, character/story development wise? I'm sure ill enjoy the visuals and story bc its now 'canon' that mr. niccals is a #sadboi - but its something we already knew and really took away a lot of creativity/left little to the imagination which kinda sucks.

It extremely woobifies/infantilizes not just Murdoc, but 2D as well. Russ and Noodle were given pretty bare bones and not much structure. (granted, Noodle was a little girl at the very beginning so ofc theres gonna be changes in personality, mentality, etc). So, it's upsetting to see these gritty characters being boiled down to just a few traits by the creators and making them "cardboard cutouts", (stated by pal/eimita/torz). They've lost all sense of 'realness' which is, yknow, fair considering theyre Fictional. But no one gets mad anymore? Theres no banter, tension, urgency, spitefulness, etc. They all seem like Good Pals.

Russ had a lot of potential, being the smartest and most qualified person there (said in canon) so it's a shame that now hes Food Jokes and Whatever. Wasnt he also a bit of a skeptic with the whole possession thing and stuff? What happened to that? Is he just Cool ab everything now? Is he over the whole 'i saw my friends die right before my eyes' because. Great. /s

Noodle is the Sexy BossBitch, which is...neat I guess - shes still optimsitic and sweet too but thats kind of it? I swear they stated they didnt want to sexualize her in a interview but I could be pulling it out of my ass. She seems distant in terms of relationships bewteen the band. I just dont know about her besides her being Pretty now. Does she have anything to say ab the El Manana incident or ab Kyuzo? She just doenst have other emotions other than Happy.

2D was always seen as the lil bitch of the band which, honestly isnt true? Hes shown to be snarky and angry, and hes never condoned any of their shitty actions, but recently hes been "its just me and good pal Murdoc that I care about so much". Yes, hes stated to be "dense", a bit of an airhead but he rarely says things that are revelatent to the conversation/interview and it makes him sound like a child, or straight up stupid (which he canonly is not - he had good grades in school at least and he can hold conversations just fine, but suddenly he cant?)

Murdoc is definitely getting hit w/ censorship and the like, the hardest. His character is based around terrible habits, shitty behavior, and general ugliness. He's definitely become more or less, 'child friendly' in recent content. Always has been entitled/selfish, rude, and a spiteful person - despite that he was very real in terms of showing the fucked up parts of being a Person. The entire phase has been him feeling guilty and openly crying which just seems...so out of character for someone like him? I think its fine to show humility and guilt as a character develops but what he was originally intended to be was completely thrown out the window.

I also LOVE found family poly ships.

I mean- i could be very jaded and list all my favorite things but honestly that's the kind of thing thats in the eyes of the beholder.

So many ships i look at and go "ugh" someone else looks at and sees nirvana.

Its completely subjective and i don't feel right making a comment of what makes one thing great and another not! Bc yeah theres tropes/dynamics i LOVE but everyone loves something.

"what do you mean?"

"I mean usually theres only like one, right? meaning we're most likely in the clear." you nod, you honestly forgot kaachan existed there for a sec, he was just so...quiet.

"kaachan c'mere, you too deku." the former looked at you weirdly but complied, while the latter bounced over to you.

you briefly let go of dabi and pulled shoto with you, and hugged all three of the young boys closely.

you knew that them and ingeniumu were in the same classes all through highschool, and they joined headquarters together, to lose a friend like that...you couldn't imagine it.

shoto grabbed onto your arms again, hugging himself close to you, deku, wrapped his arms around you and kaachan -surprisingly- leaned into you, he didnt hug you back but he showed his appreciation and a few sniffles could he heard from all of them.

"c'mon guys, we just have to finish our tasks and soon enough we'll be home, okay?" they nod and slowly pull themselves off of you. "ill show you guys my place and we'll get froyo, all of us,"

shoto lets out a small smile whereas deku didnt hide his, even kaachan didnt bother hiding the goofy smile that broke through.

during your time together you had become a bit of a mother towards the three, especially kaachan and shoto, deku already having a healthy relationship with his mum.

as deku and shoto walk away, kaachan lingered.

"thanks." he mumbles, looking at his feet, you hold his cheek in a protective way

"no problem kaa, now shoo, go with deku," kaachan smirks and walks away.

dabi almost regretted when the moment ended, but was happy to have you in his arms again.

"that was sweet."

you hum, "yeah, your gonna have to include those kids in our little life plan you wrote," you smirk up at him, teasing him about the page you found a couple months ago, which was filled with things he wanted to do with you.

"shup up," he smiled, genuinely smiled at you, and you leant up to give him a peck on the lips.

"wonder, you ready to go?" you turn slightly to see hawks, and you pout.

"actually, do you mind if I take her from now? you and shoto can team up," hawks shrugged.

"sure! ill rescue shoto and let him be with someone cool for once!" hawks laughed as dabi was obviously annoyed.

as everyone went off with their group to finish their task you couldnt help but think.

you were glad fun loving hawks was back, you were glad everyone was back to normal actually. you dont think you guys would ever officially be healed but the thought that this was over made you happy.

dabi tugged on your hand and you looked towards him.

"can I kiss you?"

you blushed, he never outright ASKED, but you nodded anyways, filling with electricity as he cupped you cheeks and smashed his lips on yours.

you both moved in synch, as you ran your fingers through his hair and lightly tugged at times, knowing that made him go feral and right now you just wanted to forget.

you thought of how ingeniumu would react to finding you and dabi like this, the kid would probably start waving his arms and going berserk, thirteen would probably have to calm him down and tell him that it's fine, he's always nice like that.

or, he WAS always nice like that.

you felt dabi pull away and you were about to question it until you felt the tears on your cheek yourself.

"what's wrong doll?" he cupped you face and you saw worry in his eyes.

"n-nuthin." you hiccup, the weight of the reality of this situation finally crashing down on you.

they were dead, they really were dead.

"is it because of, yknow?" he jerks his head towards the cafeteria, referencing exactly why you were crying.

you let out a sob as you bobbed your head.

"awh, c'mere doll," dabi cooed and grabbed the back of your head, pulling you in for a tight hug and his other hand slipped around your waist, softly squeezing to show support.

"t-theyre go-gone! a-and ingeniumu will n-never be the-there to sco-scold us ag-gain and a-and and-" you hiccupped out, they were gone, they were really fucking gone.

"shh shh doll, it will be okay, think about having froyo with the kids and me, how about we make it a tradition? every Sunday how about?" you slightly nod as he moves his hand around you head to cup your cheek, whipping your tears, "yeah? and with me, you, kaachan, deku and shoto, we'll all have froyo each sunday, and when we eventually have kids we'll bring them along too,"

you hum, that did sound nice.

"kaachan would probably try to teach them how to probably beat up deku before they reached 5," you let out a laugh, he would do that.

"and if they didnt learn how to properly throw a right hook on their own before 3, he would probably stay up all day and night to make sure," your voice sounded croaky but dabi still smiled.

"exactly. even if we have to change the life plan a little bit it will still be our life plan, and we're gonna spend it together," you smile and look up at your boyfriend.

"thank you touya," you lightly kiss his cheek,

"anything for you doll,"

he went to kiss your lips again before both of your watches beeped, an emergency meeting.

you both ran back towards the cafeteria, deku, shoto, twice and hawks already there, where was kaachan?

hawks seemed to catch your eye looking throughout the room, and spoke up, "kaachan is dead."

suddenly it felt like everything came crashing down.

you didnt understand, he was- he was there and alive! and your plans- oh god you cant go for froyo now.

it seemed silly to worry about that but you were panicking, it was what you were supposed to do!

you stared at hawks, "n-no. no. hes not dead."

hawks took a step forward, "wonder-"

"no! he- he cant be dead! t-the froyo and the the-" dabi grabbed you and pulled you into his chest again, your newly dried eyes watering again but you just pathetically leaned into your boyfriend. "he cant be dead." you whimpered.

dabi affectionately rubbed your back, "it's okay doll, its gonna be okay,"

everyone stared at you in sympathy, they were all affected but it was obvious you were struggling.

twice had a different look though, like guilt, one that hawks didnt miss.

"hey twice?"

he snapped his head up towards the blonde, "yeah?" his voice slightly cracked.

"where were you?"

"I-"

"oh god not with this shit again! hawks will you give it a break for two fucking seconds?" dabi snaps, "I dont care if this is your way of coping is fucking interrogating us or something but just leave it alone!"

"oh im SO sorry for worrying about who's gonna be dead next!"

"i dont ca-"

shoto interrupted the two, "tomura said he was with twice last time and twice agreed. but now we know tomura was killing." shoto's voice cracked.

twice widened his eyes, but nodded. "i-im sorry."

everyone stared in shock, even hawks was silent.

he didnt look up, "the system is fucked, I'm telling you that, but I didnt want to hurt any of you i swear!"

hawks didnt say anything as he pushed him into the trash chute room, and neither did twice, he didnt even protest.

"can I ask you one more question?" hawks asked, twice slowly nodding.

"are there anymore?"

twice makes eye contact with dabi, another look hawks doesnt miss, and nods, holding up a finger.

with that hawks pulls the switch and out went twice, into space.

I looked thru mallowstep’s and Queerhollyleaf’s blogs and couldnt find any proof they were proship, can i see any proof cuz im sure ive interacted with both of them in some way ^^’

queerhollyleaf, while i did not get to see their comment in full, commented on a post of mine to make sure their url was correct on the blacklist- so im sure they dont mind they're on it. also, in the tags of this post, they go on to say "im not a proshipper but i agree with proship views" and that entire statement just rubs me the wrong way.

mallowstep has a whole post (linked here) basically claiming that they "dont align with either side" but go on to say that they agree with proshipper views. the post goes into how they believe it to be a much more detailed ordeal than simply being "proship" or "anti".

more under the cut i literally just rambled

while i kind of agree with that (once again, anyone i personally know doesnt align with "anti" because imo, i think its "believing romanticizing pedophilia/incest is okay" vs "thats fucking weird actually") generally what i dislike is the fact that they label it as ship discourse when it is clearly a much more serious ordeal.

theres things in fandom you can handle with nuance and it be considered "toxic" or problematic- abuse and such, but people who try to wax philosophical about it fail to realize is that is not the proshipper norm anymore.

i've been called an anti numerous times solely for just trying to get pedophilia/incest out of the main wc tags- i have not crosstagged (except once in the "main" proship warriors tag, but i was mad people were telling lies about my gf so.) nor sent any kind of genuine hate to anyone. the blocklist i think has been the biggest kicker, but i think its within anyones rights to form a list of people to block (i also explicitly say not to harass any of these users) for their own comfort. i did call them trash but some of these people, esp the first ones on the list, were all posting and supporting genuinely upsetting material.

long story short i just. i dont want people to think i am not going about this with my own nuance

This might contain a spoiler, Im not sure if you have seen the special, but because i trust you as an adrien stan who doesn’t hate on Adrienette, sis, the boy is slowly realizing it, when Nino tells him to look at New york, instead he looks at marinette and says “yes she’s beautiful” and cue his trade mark soft look, i have been theorizing everything about his expressions n this cant be otherwise, but the way everyone jumped on him and trashed him for “supposedly” dating kagami, no, the boy is still not official with her otherwise nino wouldnt have lowkey pushed him in situations where him and mari are alone, anyways, i trust you to understand because you love adrien and wouldnt give up on him

giiirl (as a gender neutral term here) last thing i would do is give up on adrien, i watch the show because of him and i support whatever ship brings him happiness cause he deserves it 💕

as for the dating thing. funnily, it was confirmed on twitter today that adrigami and lukanette are, in fact, dating post s3! i think that the reason this was kept ambigous is probably due to zag. as far as i know, jeremy is not really fond of these ships so everyone has to meet halfway, cue not so much kagami/luka content, cue more adrienette still etc. it gets kind of confusing as I have to wonder... do alya and nino know? is it official in-universe?

either way, im not mad or upset at all, im really here for it. I like that mari and adrien get to date other people before they find their way to each other - its realistic!

i know theres people going around blaming adrinette for cheating now but i think thats a total reach as these two didnt really do anything that can be regarded as cheating. mari was really trying to get over adrien and i rly appreciate that!
