I wanna talk about Miguel for a second….no not in a bad way.

I just think the way he’s drawn is really cool. Personally, I’m a sucker for when cartoons show you the basics of how they were made. For example, that one TAWOG episode when the budget got low so they showed you the storyboard

For this reason I also really like the way The Spot if drawn because you can see his construction lines

It’s a really cool touch to me.

Now, we’ve all seen those little lines on Miguel’s shoulders, right?

I’ve sure plenty of people have noticed/figured this out already but that’s color bleed!!!!!! Like when you’re erasing any color on the edges and you miss some? That’s it. And that’s so cool to me! Look!

You can see the lines on his face!!!!!!!! It’s so comic like!!!!!! It’s not like other things where the cheekbones are just sharp, those are literal lines, and it looks like they’re left over from when he was sketched!

It’s like his coloring process is messy! Because he is messy!!!!! He’s a complicated guy!!!!!!!! You guys fawn over his features so much, pay attention!! To!!! The Details!!!!

There’s probably something analytical I could say about Spot having construction lines too!!!! He’s being rebuilt as a person!!!! He’s building himself as a villain!!!! He’s only a sketch right now but soon he will be fully rendered and powerful!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All this post is saying is that animals are not infallible judges of character and some of them make really stupid vibe checks and that people should try not to take it personally. re that one post tbh i do want to stress i dont think animals are like magically psychic at knowing your True Gender tbh i think ppl definitely get way too weird about Animal's judgement of ppl.

the number one tip i can offer to every writer out there is to change the font before you finalize

go ahead and write and rewrite that draft, but before you submit it to wherever you're wanting to, change the font before you do so and re-read and analyze it. 9/10 you'll notice a mistake you didn't before or change something you now realize doesn't fit as well

staring at the same text for too long will make your brain normalize and gloss over easy mistakes to correct bc you've been looking at it for too long, so changing the font and seeing the shape of the words change will instantly make the draft seem like something new to your brain
