okay the first wips I ever shared I was sort of nervous-excited about sharing them but I am genuinely so EXCITED to share of piece of this wip!!

me and @introvertedfangrl were talking and I said “Cullen is too precious for this world. Put him in Ancient Rome where he can be a bottom boytoy in peace.” and then I got actually possessed

When the room echoed with only the sounds of kisses, a voice called out from the pool. “I’m ready for washing.”

The girl approached the tub with haste, falling into her practiced routine and pointing out which bottles Cullen should use on the guest. After the washing was done, he wiped down the warrior’s body with a towel, followed by a generous slathering of perfumed oil. The couple was outfitted with fresh robes before they departed, leaving Cullen and the servant girl to collect the soiled robes and towels and take them to launder in silence.

That was the way the next several baths Cullen attended went. Senator Pavus would enter the baths with his warrior guest - who later he would learn was named Rilienus. He watched them everytime, though his desire focused less on the couple, and more on Senator Pavus himself; the way he gripped and demanded, the way his mouth parted to praise the gods, the way he looked back. The first time the senator caught his peeping and held his gaze deliberately, a shock zinged through him. As he paid more attention, became more bold with his glances, he was rewarded with the senator seemingly catering to his view, performing for him.

One day, Cullen was surprised when the senator entered the bathhouse alone. He kneeled and bowed his head as he always did, but this time a finger pressed under his chin, tilting his head up to meet Senator Pavus’ steel gaze.

“I want you to attend to me today,” he said simply.

“Yes, Your Grace.”
