Sorry but Le'garde as Clear Sky fucks so much
A pale grey cat in the catacombs with a single minded determination for godhood no matter the cost. And it would be commendable if he also wasn't a war criminal and a huge dick about it.
Clear Sky just going into the Eldritch horror hole to become a god is just so in character, trying to become the god of the "Open Sky" Vast from TMA style, or maybe the God of the Clans, since he embodies the clans pretty well, single minded determination and bravery while also being a complete asshole.
Also it sorta works out but not really, which is also very Clear Sky to me
oh man that DOES fuck really hard. also ties the themes of F&H and BB!DOTC really damn well

#very incoherent rant about my week in the tags; sorry for incoherence i hit my head earlier so b s#im just. so d o n e with this week. 100000% done i say.#on monday i was late to work by 20 minutes and had to stay behind for half an hour to make up for it bc the app we use to clock in suuuucks#and i also found out that i lost $40 of my salary bc of said clocking in app which. suuuuuuuuuuucks#though. this week had a weirdly low number of samples. which was. kinda nice ig since i managed to finish all my work before 7pm… but still.#like we managed to finish our stuff so quickly that we managed to watch bee movie together on tuesday………#mmmmmm i don’t remember much about what happened on wednesday though…..#but yesterday. oh g o d . yesterday. thursday. whateverday. g o d.#so the software to operate one of the [lab equipment] machines kept crashing everytime we tried to print results#regardless of whether there were any samples being tested with said machine at the moment. which. y’know#sucks on its own. but it also means that the tested sample had to be reweighed and every sample that came after it had to be reentered again#which was a m a j o r pain in the behind.#so like. after i reran the sample post-first software crash… the boss’s favourite employee freakin’ remote-accessed the computer and#he did the results thing. and crashed the software. while a sample was being analysed. and the entire monitor!!! went!!!! dark!!!! when he!!#so. i ‘calmly’ and ‘rationally’ rushed out to the office area to give him a piece of my mind.#which. may or may not have involved screaming at him and slapping him. it’s too bad that i slapped him so loudly that our boss heard/saw it…#but. um. she didn’t call me out to screech at me in return. she sent him into the lab area to settle his thing himself in fact. so. hm.#i guess i’m able to keep my job for another week. maybe.#it didn’t stop my coworkers from making fun of me for slapping the guy though so b s#anyways ig i got my just desserts today bc i walked straight into the side of the door of an in-workplace bathroom stall at full force#and i think i bruised the side of my head… what goes around comes around ig……#idek what i’m even typing anymore i blame my head hurty for this#inedible blubbering

#you see i have a lot of feelings and opinions on how many people we kill in Inquisition#Cygnus also has many feelings about it and is constantly weighed down by the amount of people he has to kill. self defense or not#honestly i keep putting that guy through worse and worse shit#he lost his entire sense of self in the span of a month#he constantly plagued by the fears and worries about how his story will be told after he's dead#how his image might be twisted or used and he's as powerless to stop it as he was from the beginning#and then also he has to kill. all the time. for what he has to convince himself is the greater good#even though he doesn't believe in the Maker. and he saw what the Chantry did to Ameridan. and what it keeps doing to everyone else#Also Trespasser is a whole ordeal you can imagine how he felt learning history and context he didn't have before#and then learning his friend and companion is also trying to destroy shit. the shit he JUST fixed#even funnier is i v much gave him a humorous/sarcastic personality so he's just doing his best to make everyone like him#is it working? who knows.#his one strength is like being a people person and taking care of others and so he's decent at leading but like#doesn't mean he wants to do it he kind of hates it all the time always and wants to go home#ok ok im done talking im sorry i have him on my mind rn#man. i need to finish his actual character sheet

im sorry nothing will ever beat my bf and i getting through new tales for the first time and sitting there slack jawed over anu just like. suddenly having cosmic eldritch horror shit happen to her without any warmup. after the constant tonal whiplash of the whole game. and then going "wow that sucked!! anyway cant wait to see the ending" and then we saw the cutscene of them visiting frans grave and somehow our jaws just fell to the floor
#all i remember about the ending was being insanely confused about the anu eldritch stuff because i dont remember it being set up well#i dont even remember if we saw the frans grave scene naturally or had to look it up#i remember just being absolutely lost at that one though#HUH. THEY KILLED OFF THE PAN DISABLED CHARACTER THEY BRAGGED SO MUCH ABOUT INCLUDING FOR BROWNIE POINTS?????#i still start howling like a monkey when i think of that scene it kills me every time#didnt even like fran throughout the game but the choice to kill her off in any ending is just bizarre to me idk.#i know the whole point is anu reconciling with ock but with ocks mind numbing stupidity throughout the game i wish it was him#qnd i like ock!!!! but oh my god the scene where he was supposed to buy them a new base#but they made him just rebuy the old one to save on money and time#worst decision in the history of video game writing i think. it was hard to feel a shred of sympathy for him after that#sorry man. maybe you are just too stupid to function. cant argue with your sister there#sorry to bring up ntftbl in fucking. 2024. im just sitting in bed waiting for the day to start ive got a lot on my mind
