You cold? Time for big fluffy werewolf cuddles and a face full of fluff as he pulls you into his chest. Cold weather is his favorite, it's the best for cuddling. His tail will be wagging as he snuggles you. He might get a little too excited and give you sloppy kisses all over your face. You'll have to wash your face extra well tonight, if you can wiggle out of his arms.

Too hot to cuddle? He's whining and crying, just absolutely distraught that he can't cuddle. He loves summer but he hates when it's too hot to cuddle with you. The heat makes him whinny as he lays on the floor panting with three fans pointed at him. If you sit down and let him lay his head on your lap he's joyous. His tail wagging up a storm as he closes his eyes snuggling into you. Will hold your thighs, that's the amount of snuggling he could handle in this moment. Oh boy if you start petting his fur or scratching behind his ears he's in heaven. You have four fans now, his tail is wagging so hard he's making a breeze. The next day his tail is sore from wagging his tail so aggressively. You'll need to give him an ice pack for his tail and comforting kisses. 

His cuddly nature doesn't stop in public though toned down of course. He'll be holding your hand the whole time the two of you walk around. You'll be standing in front of an employee with him standing behind you paws on your hips as you tell the worker he asked for no pickles, he hated pickles. Ick. 

If you let him he'll pull you onto his lap and practically hide you in his fur as he cuddles you. Will like your face he has no shame. 

Oh how he loves carrying you around the place while he does things. If you're doing chores and can't reach something he wouldn't grab it for you he'd pick you up and hold you so you could get it. He'd watch you with a smile as his tail wagged. Loves doing chores with you, it's better doing it with someone he loves so dearly. 

He's a bit clingy and will try to follow you into every room and get confused when you push him out. Will wait for you to come back out. Though if you tell him you need some space he'll understand and go do something else.

Times you're not around he'll cuddle your pillow or stuffed animals if you have them. If you don't he'll collect all your clothes and snuggle into them. Honestly anything that smells like you will work. The moment your back he's tackling you and carrying you to the bed for cuddles. If you smell like someone else he'll make quick work of rubbing his face all over you to get his scent on you instead. He's the jealous type but he won't tell you that. It's obvious though but cute that he tries to hide it. 

If someone he doesn't like is near you he will wrap an arm around you and slowly pull you in closer, you're not leaving his side. 

Loves giving you piggy back rides. He finds it so funny feeling you try to wrap your arms around him. If he's giving you a piggyback ride on a hike he's going to run you better hold on tight cause he's going as fast as he can. He's having fun, don't worry he won't drop you. Maybe.

i know the wednesday novel is most likely queerbaiting, and it’s not fair - but that’s not gonna stop me reading it. i know that they probably won’t end up together, because this always happens. but in my brain they will.

i don’t understand why they’d hire a transgender author who is known for writing queer stories if that’s not what they were going for. people are acting as if netflix and MGM had nothing to do with the making of the novel. when the book is literally licensed by them, meaning they’ve GOT to know what’s in it.

wednesday in the novel is clearly experiencing less-than-platonic feelings for enid, and yes, this may be queerbaiting, but i’m still gonna enjoy it. it’s closer than we’re ever gonna get in the show. (i wanna believe that im wrong, but idk - i feel like they’d be too scared to, especially with a franchise such as the addams family. you know how people react when media ‘turns’ things gay. its bad publicity, and they won’t wanna risk it)

obviously i have no idea what’ll happen in the show, and we get no say over the final decision. i believe having both of them figure themselves out is a great opportunity for character development. imagine enid, whose parents (mainly mother, but her father doesn’t exactly stand up for her) express their disappointment, and enid figuring herself out is an excellent way for her to see that she’s more than her parents judgement. (plus, i think the whole ‘conversion therapy for werewolves’ was a metaphor. and the fact that girly wears the lesbian flag in jumper form) and wednesday, who’s so adamant that she’s unfeeling and will never fall in love - only for her to come to the crushing realisation that not only is she very much capable of feeling things, she’s falling in love with her roommate. someone who’s the complete opposite of her. i feel like it’s such a good opportunity for them to explore the experiences of queer youth, how it feels to recognise these feelings, and the anxieties that come with them.

idk, i can’t see them doing it - they aren’t that brave. i think it’d be good if they did, but i think they care too much about how the show is perceived rather than the characters (the main reason being including wednesday in a love triangle, when girly very obviously wouldn’t find herself in a love triangle - in any universe).

so bad news. to be honest i am totally incapable of explaining why im a werewolf and what it means to me with any kind of detail. maybe i could if i spent time trying with a writer or other person more skilled in communicating concepts like this, but idk. its such a strong feeling but its feels a bit like explaining why im transgender. like i dont know, i just am. it just feels right

werewolf for me is a gender, a worldview, and alterhuman identity all in one. im not literally a werewolf, but im also not not literally a werewolf. im a werewolf in the kiiind of same way that fat hairy gay men are bears. im like a werewolf who doesn't transform that they put on hrt. my werewolf identity is also very closely linked with my butch identity which is very closely linked to my trans identity, theyre all wrapped up together

not to give you required reading, but the werewolves in rules for werewolves by kirk lynn are a great example of people who operate under a similarly nebulous werewolf identity. read that! its life changing

i decided to redesign the pdh uniforms bc in my mind this place is a Low Decile New Zealand Public School and u can pry that headcanon out of my cold dead rigour mortis'd hands.

travis isnt here bc i feel like theyd hang out w the not alone buddies during hs more than w dante. like he n dante r still mates but they have different friend groups that dont rlly merge until theyre in uni

laurance had the most Egregious mullet/skullet abomination known to mortalkind all throughout high school. he only cut it off in his first year of uni bc he lost a bet.

werewolves have pointed ears when theyre tucked. dante isnt a werewolf but he is mer'ai so he has pointed ears n is lying to everyone abt his heritage.

aaron has pit vipers to hide his eyes instead of that awful fuckass bandanna bc im operating on the same rules as most stuff w gorgons/medusa in that sunnies can prevent petrification or other sight-based curses.

also he really wants to wear boots like blaze but his dad makes him wear loafers. hes still mad abt it.

hello! yep i have alot of info

so for a creature breakdown - pete and andy are both werewolves, pete being a halfblood, andy a pure blood (for more info on those u can check out my last written post its all abt werewolves) petrick is a fae which is someyhing between a nymph and a fairy id say.???? theyre descendants of the greek muses so they tend to have artistic abilities. theres different types of fae folk, patrick is the most regular basic one. besides his artistry, his fae features include golden skin defects (freckles, moles, scars etc.), golden blood (well its not really golden, it becomes golden when it oxidizes) and golden bits in his hair. the main thing tho is how he is oercieved. when first looking at him he looks almost glowy? like if you applied a blur filter and turned up the brightness of an image. that goes away as ones eyes get used to him.

joe is a tree nymph. kinda the same family as faes but nit quite. hes strongly connected to nature amd trees and olants in oarticular. some parts of his skin are rougher, like bark. he can manipulate nature in small capacities, think reviving a house plant, growing a tiny flower or a mushroom or blooming flowers. hes also a little stiffer in the joints and gets moodshifts and headaches if not exposed to sun for too long, as his cells are oartly plant cells so he does photosunthesize a little.

fobs part in the au is just like mcrs, just navigating life as creatures. most of this au follows the "canon" so its just what if bandom was bandom, just not human. i like doing the worldbuilding and making up little scenarios for them, so theres no overarching plot over this tbh. theres some smaller subplots that are changes or completely made up tho

one of those is petekey. summer of '05 pete fell for mikeys siren atributes, and he fell hard and fast. they dated a couple months, then the charm of mikeys aura and summer wore off and mikey noticed. bcs of his "powers" my guy has some deep trust issues so as soon as he started noticing change, he broke it off to not get hurt again. pete was heartbroken for a bit but then noticed the charm wearing off too. it was a lil bitter between them for a bit but it got talked out. pete wrote a few songs, the hopelesd romantic he is, thinking abt the romance that couldve been. he got over that eventually and they both went into different paths of their own lives romantically. now they remain friends with a tiny bit of awkwardness but mostly laughing abt past.

so ywah thats petekey in my au (a condensed version anyway) im a big petericker so thats what petes got going on oretty much since the mikey fiasco. there was alot of yearning and denial involved but they got together eventually so yay. i also like the idea of trohley cuz i tought i might aswell go ahead and make everyone gay while im at it. that was a thing brewing since pretty much the beginning so just a sweet uninterrupted (mostly) slow burn. some brief joetrick somwhere in there too but thats just thanks to teenage hormones and being locked in a van for weeks, nothing serious or longlived

GUYS IM LITERALLY TWEAKING WHY DO PEOPLE NOT BELIEVE ENID IS INTENTIONALLY A QUEER ANALOGY?! MY GIRL WAS GOING TO BE SENT TO CONVERSION THERAPY THATS LIKE VERY MUCH ON THE NOSE. Like idk maybe I’m giving the show too much credit but I genuinely think it had to be on purpose, there is no way no one in the entire process of pre production went like “guys maybe we shouldn’t say that because it sounds like a gay allegory and that’s not what we are going for”.

Like I’m currently in a college English class and my teacher has me analyzing the smallest of shit so language is very important. I’m also a film major and I can tell you this type of things are not a quick process with small groups of people, this is a whole ass process. So excuse me when I don’t believe they didn’t notice what they were doing with Enid. I genuinely believe Enid IS a queer analogy and that it wasn’t just a coincidence. LANGUAGE IS IMPORTANT IN ANY MEDIA. And I feel is specially necessary in a show where characters are known for being unable to simply express what they mean, Wednesday is always saying shit between the lines. Like I feel like people forget that language and wording is not simple and meaningless, like guys the curtains being blue is meant to symbolize something. Everything within a show or a book is meticulously written to enhance a story and yeah maybe shitty media doesn’t do that but I have faith in the Wednesday show, SPECIALLY considering that cinematography wise the show is very good.

THIS WASN’T A SLIP UP THIS IS GENUINELY WHAT THE SHOW WANTED YOU TO THINK. They want you to understand Enid through the eyes of a queer analogy, you are meant to sympathize with this girl because she is going through the same misery as a lot of gay people. YOU ARE MEANT TO SEE HER STORY AND THINK OF QUEER PEOPLE.

Also the show in general has a lot of analogies and metaphors related to minorities, it wouldn’t be far fetched to think they also have queer analogies. Like for the universe sake guys we had Goody literally being an indigenous person during the genocide of colonialism. THERE WAS LITERALLY A RACIST PILGRIM. The whole outcast community in the show is meant to serve as an analogy for minorities. THE ADDAMS FAMILY ACROSS MEDIA HAS BEEN AN ANALOGY FOR BEING DIFFERENT IN A WHITE SUBURBAN CENTER SOCIETY. It’s not far fetched to think the queer community (A MINORITY) would also have some representation within the show.

Conclusion: Enid is very intentionally a queer analogy and I really hope the show would continue on this analogy even after she finally wolfs out (I’m a blood wolf believer, there is no way they won’t play around with the idea she literally transformed under a blood moon, cause if you pay attention there is no other werewolves in the scenes so they are either cheap or it was a curious detail that Enid is still not a “normal” wolf)

Okay side note after posting this I’ve realized that I’m missing one point and that is the fact the analogies aren’t good. I can admit the show Wednesday is not the best and quite frankly is far from it but I do believe it shouldn’t stop me from thinking of it more critically (or as critically as I can get). But I think my point still stands that it is a very obvious analogy and taking it as accidental is forgetting a part of Enids character.

Also yes I know Tim Burton is KNOWN for lacking diversity and he would likely not make a gay character but I feel people forget he is not the sole person in charge of this show, he can hate minorities all he wants but it takes only one person in that writing room to create the gaynesss that is Enid.
