I need people to realize how horrible 'stalking/constant surveillance/breaking into each other's homes is how the Batfamily show love' is. Like i really need someone to just acknowledge how horrific saying this bullshit is.

Like even fics where they're shown as happy and healthy and with good ties, you've always got this thing where none of them have privacy or any boundaries with each other. Which is directly antithetical to actually having good relationships. And this invasion via hacking and stalking and breaking into homes is portrayed as a positive, good thing; it's just how they show love and care to each other, after all. But for some reason I just personally don't find stalking, lack of privacy or boundaries, and emotional manipulation funny, endearing, or healthy, and just end up disgusted at the attempt to sweep it all under the rug.

i know that graduating one semester later is not that big of a deal and i haven't made any plans about what comes next so it doesnt even make a difference. so why does it feel just so terrible

#there are no chances of us finishing the thesis on time #i mean the presentations are only until the 24th so we should have already be done with it #but miss girlie said one week ago that she'd add her parts of the introduction and today i asked her and she said she'll do it tomorrow #and then there's the results and conclusions which i havent even started yet cause im a complete idiot and ive wasted so much time #and i very much doubt she has written anything about them yet #which okay i understand that she is working and i know working σεζον isnt easy #but she could have at least done a copy paste #whatever #i need to at least focus on the exam #i only have a few more slides but i started feeling a panic attack coming so i took a break to try and stop it from coming #if anyone knows how to stop that little voice in your head that always tells you how big of a failure you are please lmk 🙃#okay gonna go finish #then I'll cook lunch and maybe if i spend the rest of the day writing we'll make some progress #maybe we can ask for an extension? idk. i doubt she has even bothered calling the professor even tho she said she was going to #whatever im so done with everything #not looking for pity just needed to complain about it #which seems to be the only thing ive been doing sooo yup #okay going fr now #jo says stuff #university update

one reason I dislike sonamy is that it goes against Sonic's personality. I CAN EXPLAIN. sonic would be intimated by his own emotions to an extent, sure, but he always goes for whatever he feels is right. if he liked Amy back, he wouldn't hesitate to let her know or even ask her out since he knew how she felt about him. he's not one to wait it out. he's not one to look back at his past to have any regrets. so, he wouldn't look back at his past and realize his "true emotions" were different than what he thought and regret that he didn't make any moves. like, he's the guy that acts before thinking and always moves forward no matter what? he always follows his heart? yknow?

i need eddie to get another guy friend in season 8, and buck loses his shit about it (again), so he breaks up with t because he's convinced that the weird feeling he gets when he sees them together is because he is Really attracted to the new guy.

It's a little funny. I spend so much time compartmentalizing that I convince myself I'm totally fine, of course, all the time.

But when I was filling out the questionnaire before my therapy appointment yesterday, it was like

#speculation nation #it's ok i am now in therapy and we have weekly appointments set up #i havent always had the best experiences with therapy. and by that i mean it has never really been helpful to me #mostly tho bc it's been depression therapists. and i dont actually have depression.#what i DO have is trauma! and barely managed adhd and fibromyalgia.#and especially grief trauma in the past 5 years. oh God do i have grief trauma.#but i searched Specifically for a grief therapist with this. so she should be equipped to properly help me.#ive managed to reach an okay place regarding my old traumas. but this stuff. man it's hard.#i pushed myself to a near panic attack the other day upon realizing the painting i have is an authentic lithograph #& the realization that i am carrying the mantle of several generations of my family now.#most of the generations above me are now dead. so it's up to us to carry on their memories #and i am The One who is unapologetically incredibly tacky. up to me to carry that legacy.#it's pressure. weight that i didnt want. but i dont want to ignore it bc i dont want them to be forgotten.#so im hoping that with therapy. she can help me sort things out so it's less... difficult.#help me remember them without being paralyzed with panic and dread.#and maybe help me with my death paranoia...? 😅 i dont like feeling like anyone in my life could die at any time.#inevitable after my uncle died with only a month's warning and my dad died with barely more than a day's warning.#idk. for someone whose will to live comes from the people i love. it's rather paralyzing.#just gotta cling to the people i have left. and hold them dear.#negative/#kinda but not really. tagging just in case considering the subject matter.#idk im just trying to sort things out. no one goes through this many sudden deaths without a severe complex over it.#but. im in therapy now. and im trying. i am.

I feel like you get a lot of weird and oddly specific requests, what’s the strangest one you’ve ever gotten?

i dont wanna put anybody on blast so im not going to divulge but yes, i do get a lot of very specific/strange [for me] requests - this is why i had some modifications to my rules and normally i would tell people if its too far gone [for me]

i stil feel bad rejecting those requests though [sob] but sometimes i reach the breaking point for certain things just bc they dont intrigue me/are too detailed which then to me makes me go "well you've already written it i dont feel like i can contribute anything productive to this conversation/i fear not pleasing you because i can tell what direction you want me to take this but i dont wanna go there"

ooo grindr is scary but i'm proud of myself for trying

#figured maybe i was ready to give dating/hookup apps a shot since im mostly recovered from top surgery!#but turns out it really just scares the shit out of me to go for hookups - and really just to get to know a stranger really fast online #at least in that sort of context #so had wee little panic attack - it had been months since the last one actually which is fantastic!#but i am very very proud of myself for going and giving it a try even when it scares me #i feel a little bad for just ghosting the one guy i was talking to but i really just... wasn't into him #sure i wanted to hear more about his physics research but everything else felt a little red flag-y and he just wasn't my type #and i gotta remind myself that I really don't HAVE to talk with anyone on something like that and ghosting is okay #i did totally delete the app though #which does make me feel better #and thus ive learned that its not my sorta thing! think i like starting as in-person friends with people; stuff kinda takes me time

she wouldn’t ask you to do it, but if you put a wing around her in public she’s trying not to get too excited

cuddling is a must for wings. you’re sitting on the couch? she wants a nice feathery blanket. lying in bed? same thing. watching a scary movie? she’s using your wings as a shield to duck under anytime theres a jump scare

some days you’d wake up and he’d be completely hidden beneath your wings. if you lift one, he’d very quickly tug it back (definitely how he found out about sensitive wings)
