It's finally the time ladies, gentlemen and nonbinary people ! This lovely blog that I have had since 2022 is finally reaching its end. VISIONKEPT is no more as Tomo will resurface back on a NEW BLOG !

Dear friends, thank you so much for so many amazing years in this silly corner of tumblr ( and especially grateful for everyone's patience ). I hope I get to see all of you in the next chapter. THE NEW AND IMPROVED TOMO blog will be COMING THIS MARCH ! Why not now ? Well, I'm taking a month and a week break from Tomo to focus on irl stuff like improving my portfolio and getting more active on the drawing side. Might open a graphic blog one day, who knows.

ANYWAYS, I have to thank you all once more for the support and for giving this character a chance. After almost four years I have finally found the direction I want to take my Tomo and for that, it's for the best to start fresh on a new blog as the new Tomo will have an entire different focus, a kind of REBOOT if you would like to call it that way. Worry not, it's the same idiot you love and care for BUT with a few tweaks in verses and lore.

UNDER THE READ MORE you'll find the NEW RULES AND CHANGES ON TOMO'S CHARACTER expected to be seen on the new blog ! Please ❤️ this post if you have read through them and you would still want to see me and my blond idiot around when I come back. If what you read wasn't of your liking, then it was a pleasure to cross paths with you even if it's for a fleeting moment ! ( Small note : i will slowly start following the people that liked this post on the last days of February ).

CHANGES IN TOMO'S CHARACTER:

Tomoya's name will be changed from "Aoki Tomoya" to Sunohara Tomoya ( yes, to match the spring aesthetic ).

Tomoya's character will be the current reincarnation of TAKAMINE THE MISTSPLITTER and their lore will be heavily tied to INAZUMA'S LORE.

Compared to this old blog where Tomo being alive is more of an AU, the new blog will have a MAIN VERSE where Tomo IS alive. Will be treated as if IN GAME they had been trapped in Ei's plane of Euthymia all this time right until Sumeru's interlude. They manage to break free after Wanderer's Irminsul incident. Currently they are an occasional Crux member that travels around all the nations. MORE TO BE EXPLAINED LATER.

NEW IMPORTANT TOMO LORE. Tomoya got CURSED by the ABYSS when they used to be Takamine and every reincarnation has it. MORE TO BE EXPLAINED LATER.

Tomo used to have a biological sister in the genshin verse. Well, not anymore lol. Making them an only child. At least they still got Chi - chan !

Unless I've approached you to be mains, ALL ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIPS WILL HAVE A RESET. Lil crushes or platonic bonds do not count on this reset.

NO EI "BOOBA SWORD" OR "KAZUHA WEED JOKE". Makes me uncomfortable and I think they are dumb. Next question.

IMPORTANT NEW RULES:

Will soft block, in some cases hard block, blogs that use AI for icons, edits, etc.

Won't follow blogs with voltro.n, south par.k, haz.bin hotel, and h.elluva boss characters. For multi muses, it will heavily depend on how present said characters are on the blogs.

WILL BE HEAVILY SELECTIVE WITH DOING ROMANTIC SHIPS. I require plotting, interactions and some ooc talk for it to happen. If the excitement isn't the same, it's likely for me to lose any interest and drop it.

(person who asked about toji and naoya) I'm really glad you feel the same way as me when it comes to their relationship, i honestly thought i'd only get a couple sentences, so thank you so much for that lengthy answer. Also with the 'naoya being an example of what gojo could've been' thing, i think that's really interesting. Cause i've seen something similar be explored before, with people writing naoya and gojo being raised as almost rivals of eachother, but they also seemed to glorify naoya in a way, so i took it more as their own intepretation rather than a reflection of how things would have been in canon. Back to your point with gojo and naoya tho, thinking about it more, you're really onto something there, cause kid gojo sorta acts like naoya?? still different, but the similarities are there. i also just realised toji seriously affected both of their lives. I can't imagine how naoya would have been had he not met toji. It just feels like he wouldn't be naoya. Christ, you were so right about toji haunting everyone. It's funny how someone regarded as nothing impacted so much of the lives of those who are regarded as everything. (you may be america's strongest run-on sentence soldier, but i'm britain's. we will compete to see who gains the title of world's strongest run-on sentence soldier one day..)

i case you couldn't tell by [gestures to playback] i have a lot of big big feelings about the zen'in clan in general, and naoya - honestly, feelings i didnt have before starting it that i've come around to the more i study these guys under a microscope! i dont know if the comparisons between young gojo and young naoya are intentional, but to me they're very much there - each is the prodigal genius heir of their clan, inheriting a genetic technique that sets them apart from a young age and has them both praised and isolated for this technique. each at a young age is egotistical and carries themself above others because that's been treated as outright fact by the people around them. gojo is exposed to other viewpoints and experiences that allow him to grow beyond it, though aspects of that mindset remain in him they don't take a malicious form - naoya isn't given that social opportunity, and instead stuck in an echo chamber that eventually makes him even worse than the people around him. they obviously aren't 1:1 but i do really think there's a comparison to be drawn

and imho the zen'in clan as a whole are kind of a microcosm of jujutsu society, where even those in privileged positions in the social hierarchy suffer and live less fulfilling lives for it. literally none of them seem happy. naoya is one of the most insecure, bitter, unhappy characters we meet imho, feeling challenged by and overcompensating to extreme measures to every single perceived threat and slight. we see much of the same with ogi, honestly, with one key difference - naoya doesn't seem to have anything or anyone that would make him happy, while ogi has a wife and children and yet self-sabotages every chance at a meaningful life and meaningful human connection because of his fixation on rank and power. his family is just an extension of himself, and therefore disappointing and discarded as worthless because they don't meet his expectations.

their hierarchy prevents a lot of meaningful connections from being formed with ideas of rank and power and honour and tradition getting in the way of them. not in a way that excuses the way a lot of these guys are, but as a whole this is a generational and societal issue as much as it is an individual one, and its noteworthy that someone like gojo, in contrast, turned out as relatively well-adjusted and normal as he did - under the right circumstances, he very well may have been much worse. isnt that just what all of their stories are? under the right circumstances, almost anyone could have ended up like geto, or like naoya. to me jjk is a series where theres a sense of nurture taking precedent over nature very often, and all the spectacular ways one's nature can remain unshaken and unchanged even in the face of that. or something.

this isn't even what your ask was about. i feel like a lot of this pertains to toji in interesting ways but also theres very little to be said about toji that hasn't been already. something something nature of cycles and how his breaking out of it had ripples across the entire world because the clan is representative of the world he was a part of something the way you must break tradition before it breaks you whatever.

mezelean king joel but when hes younger and not yet king and he spends his days exploring in the woods and painting and drawing all the beautiful nature

one day he sees a wolf off in the distance as hes walking and he watches it - it didnt see him

he sees this same wolf a few more times and each time he studies it more, trying to remember every detail so he can be able to draw it

hes out in the forest in a small clearing, one of the sunnier places in the whole woods, drawing this wolf over and over, frustrated with how he can never quite get it right, he thinks its the eyes, every time he draws the eyes, they look wrong

hes so focused on the drawings that he doesnt notice that same wolf coming up behind him until he feels the warm breath on his neck

he drops the sketchbook and scrambles away but the wolf doesnt follow him, it just looks at the current drawing - unfinished - and sits

joel stares for a few moments at this weird behaviour from the wolf before retriving the sketchbook and drawing the wolf again, it ends up perfect this time - joel did always draw better with the subject in front of him - and the wolf plods over to see the final thing

from then on joel spends a lot more time in the forest, bringing food along with him, and some snacks to maybe give to the wolf

the wolf isnt there every day but joel doesnt mind, he feels safe in the forest now, he doesnt think anyone will hurt him

its months later when he encounters a man in the woods, he is tall and broad and for some reason, wearing sunglasses

joel gives the man a friendly smile before continuing on his way

joel ends up seeing the man quite often in the forest and he always offers a smile or a friendly wave, one day he decides to actually speak to the man

from then on joel has a new friend, ren he says his name is, he feels familiar to joel but he cant quite place him

joel notices the wolf is never there when he is spending the day with ren, sharing food and talking for hours, ren always steers clear of certain topics though - where he came from, where he lives, his family - joel doesnt push it though

the wolf is still as friendly as ever although it seems more tired and injured than it always used to be

months after getting to know ren, joel stumbles -literally- across him, his sunglasses are broken on the floor next to him and his shirt is in tatters and he is covered in wounds, his breathing is shallow and joel wishes the wolf was here to help

he carries him back to mezelea, thankfully he wasnt too far into the woods but its still hard going

its a little over a day before ren wakes and the healers inform him immediately, he rushes over to see him and winces at the sight of the bandages around him

joel reaches for rens hand as he sits beside him, telling him how worried he was and ren, turns his head to face him, opening his eyes slowly

joel freezes in the middle of his sentance at the sight, those eyes, he knew those eyes, he had spent countless hours agonising over how to draw those eyes

ren who was up until this point still only half awake realises what he just did and curses and frantically tries to explain himself

joel stands to leave and ren reaches out, hissing in pain at the movement and joel cant help but turn back to fret over him

joel tells him to leave it for now, that theyd talk about it when he was better

joel visits ren every day until he is better but its awkward and they mostly sit in silence before joel finds a reason to excuse himself

in the end ren comes to joels room as soon as he is allowed to leave, joel lets him in and ren sits on the bed, awkwardly looking anywhere but in joels eyes

joel walks over and sits down next to him, gently nudging him with his shoulder as he did so

and then ren just spills it all, how he had always spent most of his time as a wolf because it seemed easier than losing people again but then he saw joel and he drew him and treated him like a real friend so he wanted to try again, to be with people again but he didnt think itd get this far, he didnt think hed end up falling in love with him and then he didnt know what to do, because he saw how sad he was when the wolf wasnt around but he didnt really want to be the wolf as much anymore

joel stays silent until the end of the explamation but then- you fell in love with me? and ren who didnt realise he had said that gets all muddled up and doesnt know what to say but joel just kisses him anyway

When Henry kisses Alex later that night, Alex's first response is a burning anger. It's directionless, curling up in his stomach as he wonders how long he's been without this, when the last time he felt this way was.  If he'd ever felt this way before. And then Henry's delicate fingers are curving over the crown of Alex's head until his palm is cupping it and those same fingers are tugging recklessly at his hair dragging noise after pitiful noise out of Alex all while Henry's tongue begs for the taste of him. The anger is gone and all Alex is left with is a resounding answer to his question.  No, he absolutely has not felt like this before.
