honestly i think hes genuinely thrilled to be taken around and about with you in his little box! usually hes sitting in his box waiting for an unfortunate soul to take it home; its been like this for... a while now... so actually being able to go around and see things is a nice change of pace! plus it makes him feel more included in your life rather than just being an "at home friend"

i think in the beginning youre going to have to ask him to pipe down a little since he might talk a little too loud... like near yelling because hes just so excited

probably sneers at people who give you looks tbh, will probably trip them if they decide to be a little ruder and mutter something under their breath while theyre passing by you... i mean they cant prove anything! they just tripped on air! jack totally didnt swipe one of his long arms out and tug their ankle back!

the only downside is that jack cant do much outside of talking and sneaking stuff around since him just fully popping out his box might blow his cover, you know? doesnt mean he doesnt have the urge to jump out when he sees you getting a little stressed out or overwhelmed about your surroundings or when someone is being particularly cruel

though i dont doubt hes remembering faces; i mean at the end of the day hes still a clown that specializes in torment, do i really need to say what hes cooking up in his brain?

no in cases where you're beginning to struggle hes probably going to try to quietly urge you to disconnect and take a breather

keeps your favorite candies on him at all times and slips them into your hand, probably does the same to any stress/fidget toys you may or may not have.. though i do hc he can just materialize certain things and i can easily see that sort of thing falling into something he can just yoink into existence

very good at reassuring you of your worth and how much you mean to him; this is a general thing but i think he makes it more of a point if self image is something you particularly struggle with

i just need to vent about fanfiction because if i told this to my irl friends theyd give me side eye but omg!

i really appreciate yall's nsfw writing capabilities because there's a problem in the creepypasta fandom especially. i feel like every single smut fanfic/oneshot/whatever in this fandom treats squirting as the ultimate form of pleasure for afab readers and characters. its so rAAAAAAH.

obviously im no expert, but i have never been able to do that personally. and i know theres a suspension of disbelief for this sort of thing, but i get kind of insulted when the expectation is that squirting is the best it can get. it makes me so sad sometimes and i feel like when done wrong it feels lazy and juvenile and just turns me off from their writing completely. and it completely shifts the focus away from the orgasm and the connection between the two characters. i think if a writer can tastefully incorporate squirting its fine and obviously no hate to anybody that can do that but man. :(

anyway thanks for letting me get on my soapbox. you guys make me feel sane and seen. it feels like everyone has to have it in every nsfw scene and it's making me so tired.

Squirting is just not possible for most people. Also it's mostly piss. It supposedly can be learned but that involves lots of trial and error and straight up piss without ejaculatory fluids.

I have a lot of problems with erotica writing in fandom. It tends to be an echo chamber of misconstrued kink, the wet cardboard equivalent of dirty talk, only p in v, the same boring d/s dynamic that's genuinely misogynistic. I understand making things more extreme for the sake of kink- see all of ycyd- but it can be badly done very very easily. Like for example the 'you had a hard time walking after' I garentee you unless you literally came 20 times after doing knife play to the legs and/or got fisted you are fine.

It's all very heteronormative, baby's first bdsm fic, and has only had sex like two times and it was very disappointing. Anyway I think if fic blogs wrote more fisting there would be peace on earth.

thats trinity!!! hes not from their world hes a human guy and shes just really into the show. weirdo goth/industrial guy and is probably one of the people with the most knowledge about the monster world or at least about the show. like shes the guy who puts whatever episodes he finds onto dvds & keeps episode lists on his blog. but unlike some other people who like the show he has absolutely no desire to be on it LOL. there have been a few people like her who have managed to make it onto the show but the thing is if somebody does TOO well at the trivia vann will just kill them anyway. the rules dont matter very much it just comes down to what he personally thinks is entertaining LOL. especially since a lot of those people are annoying because theyre like "omg i made it on the show!!!! guys im on the show!!! no hate to you but im still not quite comfortable with writing romantic for toby!/nm wooo first creepypasta request of this batch lets go we're returning to this blogs roots yipee! this post may be a little blugh since i only just started allowing myself to write for toby and im still trying to get a hold on how i want to write his personality

one of the first ideas that came to my head when i first read this when it was sent in a few hours ago is that theres some level of disconnect... for lack of a better word. i mean toby himself doesnt feel pain, and he has mixed feelngs about it. on one hand he knows it makes him different and that often makes him feel like an outsider. on the other hand, he uses it as an advantage to power through things. the topic is complicated with him, and when it comes to you he doesnt fully understand why you're so careful with yourself; its not as if youre made out of glass

not to say that he completely invalidates your pains. no, i think the opposite would be true. he cares about you a lot and hes going to hold onto you, and not let go. he is clingy and he is going to be obnoxious about it

i think he makes little notes to remember what helps with you (the admin totally isnt self projecting and giving toby horrible memory, definitely not), as well as leaves little notes for you to find throughout the day. cute ones, encouraging ones.. a little clunky and awkward but hey its the thought that counts!

^usually does the little notes for you on days where hes not going to be available for whatever reason, be it he needs to be put to work or what. honestly i dont think its uncommon for him to go MIA for a few days at a time given the nature of his work as a proxy

totally doesnt shoplift things that you like/will ease your pain. meds, snacks, stuff like that. that he paid for, obviously! nooo its not weird that hes asking to hide out at your house for a few hours he didnt do nothing!

offers to do your chores and stuff (with varying success) so you can lay down and rest. tends to only really offer them on your worse days, again in part to him not fully being able to grasp the level of pain youre in every day. hes trying his best!

gets you movies and games.. sometimes books, heating pads/blankets, things like that as well

less of a comfort guy and more of a distraction guy, definitely not a solutions guy; asides from getting (stealing) things for you, thats about where a lot of his comfort/solutions end, hes more so better prepared to keep your mind off of the pain with conversation and jokes and the aforementioned movies/books/games

definitely helps him to understand if you explain whats going on with you, be it simply saying whats hurting and why or even explaining your diagnosis, gives him something more solid to digest and work off of instead of just basic labels
