there is a laundry list of shit she complained about/asked for but of the most annoying are:

she asked to have a plate comped because we went a little bit over the estimated wait time (which we emphasize at the order window that it isnt exact and offer much faster plates if they arent prepared to wait for our signature)

when we told her we couldnt do that she asked for a free, filled out stamp card (which could be used for a free plate at a later date, so the exact same thing)

when we told her we couldnt do that she asked for a full fucking refund. which. mind you her family had already gotten and eaten their plates. what the fuck. bitch if we can't give you a partial refund why the fuck do you think you should ask for a full refund after you already consumed the damn food

after yelling at our new hire, i asked my head cook to step in because our new hire couldnt handle this karen alone (and i was in the middle of cooking something else) my head cook talked to the lady, explained we couldnt give the things she was asking for, and started to get pissed off because this lady wouldnt stop

so i jump in, have the same conversation and then this lady asks for my manager. she asked if "that lady" (i.e. my head cook) was my manager. we are a family owned business in a food truck. there are no fucking managers. i told the karen we had no managers on site and she asks "well is she higher than you" and i repeated that we dont have managers and we went back and forth like this for a couple rounds before she says "you arent answering my question. is she higher up than you" WHICH. NORMALLY I WOULD GET BUT BITCH YOU'RE DOING THE SAME THING BY IGNORING WHAT THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE TOLD YOU ABOUT THE COMP PLATE AND JUST REPEATING YOUR QUESTION

i eventually say that she's the head cook, but no managers and the karen demands to speak to her (which. remember, she had already talked to her)

we end up offering her one of our small sides no charge because people like her just want something to feel like theyve won

she doesnt accept nor decline it so im trying to figure out what the fuck is going on

finally she says that her family is already leaving so can we give it to them next time they come

Am I the asshole for calling a (now ex-) mutual a stingy asshole?

So to start, I (NB20) am in a pretty rough situation, I'm facing homelessness soon, transphobia at home and work and my hours have been getting cut resulting in me making even less money that can sustain me. I have a toyhou.se forum post up stating I have emergency commissions open to help me out and to please support me if you can. This is where the situation begins. I have a mutual on toyhou.se who I'll call Apple (MTF22) I talk to sometimes to the point I'd say we are friends, not super close but friends nonetheless. She made a bulletin telling people about my commissions and to please comm me if they could which I'm very grateful for since I did get a few customers from her because of that. The thing is, a few weeks later, she made a bulletin talking about how happy she was so many commissions she bought were finished around the same time and posted all of them with the artists tagged in the post. It was honestly... quite a few, I'm talking like 9 pieces of art of her fursona and even a custom vtuber model she got of her sona. I was going to reply all happy for her, but it made me think... how much did she spend on those commissions?? So I went through all the artists socials to find their commission prices and came to a total of fucking $385!!! More than half of my current goal I'm trying to make through commissions to stay out of homelessness!! So I messaged Apple saying since I saw she bought a few commissions if she was interested in buying a comm from me. She replies saying "Ohh! I'd love to <333 but im just not in a place to buy any more comms right now :< sorry >.<!!" So I casually reply really? because it seems like your in the perfect place to help me out after already spending over $300 in commissions. She tells me she's sorry and really wishes someone would be able to help me out but she just wasn't that interested in my art or a custom to which I tell her she could've easily donated to my ko-fi which I have always had since she clearly has money to spend? To this, she straight up IP blocks me. So still fucking annoyed, I vented in a discord server I share with a few friends from being in a few shared CS together, saying how annoying it is rich assholes like her would drop half a thousand for a picture of their fursona but don't even blink twice at their so called friends. anyway, one of my friends takes a look at Apples th profile and notices she has a new bulletin up and sends me a screenshot, but anways the bulletin reads like "hey!! just saying, but please dont come into my dms acting like you know my financial situation better than i do, just because i buy a lot of commissions doesnt mean im made of money! and please dont think that me commisioning artist 1 means i hate artist 2? thats so weird, thanks!!!!!" and seeing all their subscribers just kissing her ass pissed me off so i made my own bulletin that just stated "i thought it was pretty fucking weird to know how bad ur friend's situation was and to go buy a bunch of comms instead of buying a comm from or even throwing a buck to help me out? like yeah im gonna think i know ur situation better than u, you stingy fuck!!!" Anyway, she mustve been block evading (which I reported her for) since she unblocked me, took a screenshot of my bulletin, then went on about how she lived in an abusive household; her dad had thrown her into a sink and chipped her tooth, bruised half her face and scarred it pretty badly. She bought a bunch of commissions immediately afterwards in a panic to make herself feel better, paying everything with her savings. Which to me.. isn't an excuse. Ive been hit and abused and still found scraps of money to pull together to give to mutuals who need it and Ive been bumping my own post like crazy and she had literal weeks to donate or comm me. Not to mention Ive had exmutuals of hers come to me saying that shes never donated anything to them either despite advertising their posts but always had money for plushies, comms and other crap, meaning Im not alone in thinking shes a stingy asshole. (oh and i didn't have anywhere really to slot it into the other post or segue into it here but dodgebrawl as a Moment demonstrates how [this AU] noah can play the social game, just in a very very different way than how it's normally seen.

he knows what he's doing is going to bother his team and incentivize them to vote, i'd say in this au he even plays up the cockiness and makes veiled personal slights against specific people

(mainly those who would be annoyed enough to vote him off, see: heather, justin, leshawna, cody/trent to some extent if he said smth about gwen? < and gwen herself in that scenario. and to another extent beth, since hes playing up his outright mean traits, which would make lindsay vote with her. i dont think he would do anything specific to/with owen or izzy, since he may see izzy as too volatile and owen too genuine)

in the opposite way of whats expected, sure, but it is a social play. he can pick apart what these people are and what they show and push at it to achieve his own ends (and maybe its even some sort of way for him to regain control in this fundamentally uncontrollable situation he's found himself in; he can be the punishment in foucalt's imagining, to a much smaller degree))

so his teammates,,, do not like him tbh. his flagrant display during dodgeball and everyone being pissed at him after the fact is true in this AU, just coming with different motivations. even after the fact when the frustration of everyone fizzles out, hes still majorly offputting because of his detachedness, and deliberately makes his shown traits very unpalatable to experience in person combined with that.

the only two exceptions are izzy and owen respectively: owens mostly coming from a place of genuineness and im going to say while he wouldnt be able to verbalize it, in some manner owen would clock noahs behavior as a defense mechanism. maybe in the sense of 'hes just scared to open up to people!!' or something similar, but he definitely has a lot more faith that noah really isnt that cold and flat.

[*]izzy feels much the same -- except maybe it comes off more to her as strategic. izzy can act, and might recognize that in noah. if you wanted to you could write this in as to why she was eager to swap teams in the first episode, but it wouldnt change that he does get eliminated and thats all she sees of him until the special -- which, her intrigue in his lacking and the fact that it apparently wasnt strategic to get him further in the game, could help explain why she picks him in the team-up.

my au my rules eva and izzy became really good friends on the playa; izzy isn't afraid of eva (and curbing her anger before it reaches a boiling point) and eva is physically adept enough to restrain izzy from Shenanigans that might be a little Much. but eva doesnt really?? know anything about noah?? but izzy insists on teaming with him for the special (and unbeknownst to her noah wasnt even planning to participate initially) so he must be some level of Not Too Bad if izzy wants anything to do with him that doesnt seem to be related to tormenting the guy

and she thinks hes Fine. apathetic and detached and unpalatable (but then again, everyone in their little trio really is to some degree), but can kind of understand izzys intrigue: hes still A Guy, hes just hidden behind 20 layers of non-substance that are so offputting from the first meeting it makes people steer clear of him.

now with tddddi comes two other pertinent details: the justin line, and the Thing With Duncan.

i personally thing noahs 'he's the anti-me' line is really funny in the context of canon but if you squint it kinda works here? wherein justin is non-speaking yet flaunts himself to be the center of attention and clearly shows intent and capacity to scheme (underdeveloped or no, see: awakeathon), whereas noah speaks a lot yet lets himself fade into the background, showing vague hints of the capacity to scheme but no intention or palpable ambition behind it.

^ am i reaching? maybe. the other option here is noah somehow has seen him in-person before on a modeling or red carpet kind of gig and dislikes him on principle because of it/its a jab at it (smth smth they are both opposite ends of the same industry? justin is the face of it in a manner where noah stays behind the scenes and out of sight)

and the thing with duncan,, hear me out here okay noah does his whole song and dance, goes up to him and patronizes him, and duncan retaliates. however, he curses like a sailor and in noah's head has ruined the footage, therefore instead of further retaliating and potentially invoking actual physical harm he just. doesnt react. at all. duncan looks up at him and hes just dead-eyed staring down at him -- and then he leaves.

^ the scene has been ruined, and everyone else is doing so much that theres no reason to play it up any more. duncan and him arent plot important like how heather and lindsay were, theres no reason for the crew to painstakingly edit his swearing out. they just wont let it reach the final cut. duncan is understandably very confused by this, but at that point noah was already gone to find eva and izzy again (< this is when the cast having a running bet that noahs and android becomes Not a Joke)

but life goes on!!! and in the worlds worst comedy of errors (for noah), izzy ends up dragging him along into the lake, thereby leaving him as a confirmed member of the next season.

^ noah is so angry at this. popping blood vessels. he argues with chris endlessly, straight frothing at the mouth at only having two days of real reprieve before he has to deal with the Same Shit again. and chris gets this, to some degree, but also knows that if theres no explanation for noahs non-appearance to hand the producers, theyll be pissed (since all things considered, noahs pretty damn popular among the fans)

luckily for him, courtney just filed a lawsuit against the show!! and since chris is busy running said show, the producers do not want to deal with it and are willing to hand off the case to anyone else -- hence, chris officially signs noah on as his PA, and noah takes over the court settlements and whatnot.

< though i do imagine the producers would see it as a 'get out of the show' scheme, and thereby push way harder for his involvement in WT as a result

but noah does get a break!!! for now, at least.

Corlys has really good rapport with Aemond, Im glad grandpa approves cause that's going to be the future daddy of Luce's kids.

Aegon, really trying to impress Corlys and also Corlys having a better time than Otto getting him into shape, because of well Jace. Ahhh Jace is such a good influence on Egg.

Aemond I liked the bit were she said that Vhagar was his and he would never give up anything that belonged to him, that was sooo fifty shades, the whole Aemond is a chocolate ice cream with nuts and rum comes to mind. I really cant wait to get the part of the secret passages and Dragonstone how much of liberties did Luce really allowed him, I kinda see Aemond as the old fashioned type but entering on the whole technicality of truth, well she is still a maiden but we have .... and is so naughty that even Aegon is impressed.

Alsooo its soo sad reading that Aemond wants even negative attention and he feels everything is easier for Aegon, the problem with Aemond is that he is just sooo prideful he wants and wants but at the same time he doesnt wants to give in a little.

And the part that the Pirate King thinks that Aemond likes swords OMG hilarious ........ I think he is going to be the horniest out of his brothers even though he lacks Aegon's experience.

Corlys likes the Targbros, and he has accepted Aegon as Jace’s husband because a) he has to, it’s a done deal, b) the match is politically good for Corlys who now has all his bases covered when it comes to the Iron Throne, and c) Aegon reminds him of Laenor.

But Corlys has been thinking a lot about the future of Driftmark and his legacy. He loves Luce and she’s his favorite (in his heart and as heir). But because this is Westeros, Corlys places a lot of importance on who might be her future husband ruling alongside her. He has a long checklist of what he expects from Mr. Lucera Velaryon.

Corlys likes Aemond. If Aegon reminds Corlys of the son he had, then Aemond reminds Corlys of the son he wishes he had. (Oof for Laenor.) But I think Corlys is still figuring some things out. And we know that Aemond and Luce run into obstacles, even without Corlys.

Anyway, moving onto more fun things! I love how we all expect Aemond to just be totally insane once he and Luce get some privacy. 😂 I also expect that; hopefully the characters cooperate with my plans. Sometimes the characters do their own thing. It’s annoying.

Racallio was a delight to write! I can’t wait to make Aemond suffer his presence again. 😈
