what about the fire ghouls?

sure, they're warmer and the cold doesn't bother them much like it does the water ghouls, but they need the sun. it sets so early and when it's there is covered so much by clouds. the air is damp and foggy. they get sick more often. they spend so much of their energy keeping the fires for the ministry and in the den going for everyone else and they're exhausted. the weather seems to make it harder in general to use their magic. dew struggles with joint pain on a normal day esp in his hands. in the winter it can be excruciating. ifrit is almost never late for practice but as soon as the days begin getting colder it takes at least 2 other ghouls to drag him out of bed.

The trailer for Home is unironically my favorite because of how Genuinely Terrifying it is, and I was sad to see it go. Massive W, I still have access to the trailer! So for old time's sake I decide to give it another watch, and-

Wilson having NPD is one of my favourite headcanons. I know everyone says House does, but I truly believe he's just autistic. And I know people are going to say, "How can he have NPD he's so selfless." Which, first of all, people with NPD can do selfless things. But mainly, I don't think Wilson is selfless at all. In fact, I'd argue he's one of the most selfish people on the entire show. Yes, he helps people a lot, but he's not helping people just because he genuinely cares and wants to do good. He helps people because he needs to be needed. He wants people to rely on him, and he craves that constant attention. Honestly, you see it with his ex-wives. He finds someone needy, and he comes in like a knight in shining armour, sweeping them off their feet. And then they have this honeymoon period where that person is so smitten with Wilson and relies on Wilson, and Wilson thrives under all the attention. But the second that that person doesn't need to rely on Wilson anymore, and that person becomes more emotionally independent, Wilson leaves. Because the helping people isn't about them, it's about him.

I mean, House straight up points it out, and they talk about it multiple times.

I fucking love romancing Emmrich as a non-Mourn Watch Rook. I love it I LOVE it!

I've done both routes and I enjoyed the meeting of minds you get in the special MW dialogue options but the JOY of watching Emmrich experience love from outside his own secluded circle is unmatched.

Of course a fellow Mourn Watcher would match his freak, of course they'd get necromancy of course they'd love wisps and the necropolis of course.

But he spends so much energy defending it all to the rest of the team early on, because outside of Nevarra it is taboo.

They don't know if they can trust the necromancer

They side-eye his skulls

But then there's Rook. An outsider respectful of the tableaus, charmed by wisps and friendly with Manfred. They compliment his control and passion. They're impressed, rather than suspicious. He doesn't have to defend himself to Rook and how unexpected...

Rook as a person with no previous experience with Nevarra looks through the taboo and the superstition and the preconceived notions and sees Emmrich. Sees his passion. And loves every piece.
