WAIT DO YOU HAVE A CONDOM?!?!!!
Has anybody ever thought about when MC and their respective suitor started getting intimate, and MC's brain goes straight to "wait-do you have a condom?" and they're just like "....wut???" Like you went from 21st century to the 16th or 19th century, so you have to stop them and explain to them the uses of condoms and what it's for. Like:
~~~
MC: Wait!
Nobunaga: ?
MC: *automatically* did you bring a condom?
Nobunaga: ?????
~~~
MC: Wait!
Leonardo: ?
MC: *automatically* Do you have a condom?
Leonardo: .....a wut?

Witch of Penchant
Prologue: Part 1/4
Shingen x MC (Mai)
the thread of INSPIRATION | Next
Logline - A women in nuns clothes, with an unsettling resemblance to a fox, the witch of Honno-ji, has traveled back in time to an era she has already lived through. She accidentally saved the life of Nobunaga Oda, but now she wonders how else the past has changed.
2200-ish words
Nobunaga scolded him. “Let her be. Her name is Mizusaki Mai. Oh yes and she saved my life.”
Mitsuhide looked surprised, wide eyes, “You saved Oda-sama’s life…?” snakey smile, “And you’re such a slender thing. but it appears your courage makes up for it.” Mai rolled her eyes, returned an equally disturbing, but unusually toothy smile, scoffed, then continued scanning the scene.
This starts as you would expect it, a woman and man find themself at a lonely stone monument as the rain starts suddenly. Although, this is not an unusual spot for the woman to be; witches like her throughout time and space have been the protector of rifts, weak spots in the fabrics of reality. Mai sighed as the undergrad fell through the wormhole before she dived in after him. She would have liked to return him to his time more immediately, but he apparently distracted her enough that she appeared 4 years after him. Oh well…
Mai soon found her vision to be quickly obscured with streams of billowing hot smoke. The Honno-ji shrine came into view around her, currently in flames. An armor suited man sat asleep amidst the chaos. In the year 1582, betrayed by Akechi Mitsuhide, Oda Nobunaga committed seppuku amidst the fiery wreckage of Honno-ji. Or that was how the past played out when she successfully protected the rift from mortals. With the young man nowhere in sight, she infrured he fell into some time before, and the effects of such meant it was nothing like the first time she lived through it.
A man (presumably Oda Nomunaga) dressed in a suit of ancient Japanese armor was sitting on the floor, head tilted down in sleep. Another man holding some kind of walking stick approached the unconscious man. As Mai’s watery eyes squinted in the smoke, she recognised the gleam as that of a sword. Sparks from the flaming paper walls illuminated the sharp edge of the raised metal blade.
With a sharp intake of the oxygenless air, the witch bellowed a wordless cry at the armored man. Typhoon force winds suddenly blew from her mouth, and the man slammed through the paper walls out of sight. The sword clattered to the ground in a cruel imitation of church bells. Mai heard him scramble for the blade before fleeing.
She hurried over to and crouched beside the unconscious man and shook him urgently. He finally woke, eyelids lifting lazily, ”Who are you?” he sputtered out into the smoke.
“No time for introductions. Come on, let’s get you out of here!” Mai said with a chuckling tone. Mortals were always so confident in their self importance.
"Take my hand!” He obeyed, grabbing her hand. She shifted her weight before hauling him to his feet.
Concerning shapes flitted by in the edges of the pair's vision. They were ignored in favor of an exit. The wooden stairs won’t hold much longer.
The exit came into view! The pair burst through the door, into the refreshing, blessed cool night air and barreled down the path, far from the smoke and flames.
The temple was being engulfed by uncontrollable flames. The man glanced at the destruction before his eyes came to rest on the women in front of him. “Someone tried to do away with me while I slept,” he began, “Audacious but foolish. Killing my guards and getting that close to me is another matter.”
So those shapes had been guards-Mai sighed, she had been too distracted, if she didn’t cut this chain of distractions from her mind or the rift would fall to desecration and mortals would fall to harm.
The samurai (presumably Oda Nomunaga) meets her eyes, “You there. Woman. Let go of me.”
Mai chuckles, “Oh sorry.” She let go and pulled back. The man looked over her thoughtfully. He stared at her rakusu overtop a brightly colored kimono, the religious garment indicating her servitude to Buddhism.
“You saved my life. You may be some girl the monks snuck in for amusement but I owe you my thanks.”
“The amusement of others is neither my intention nor my job, but you are welcome.”
Mai surveyed him for injury, but found none. His pale red eyes were unsettling, proud and brutal, hair a solid black. His clothes were finely made, he stood in black armor, with red tassels and a white under-haroi. As fine as the sword and as deadly as tanegashima hanging from his belt.
“What are you staring at? Surely you know who I am.”
“I really don’t.” And Mai really didn’t, it was best not to assume in this unfamiliar past.
“You saved me without knowing who I am? Not expecting reward or favor? … So be it I shall tell you my name. I am the man who rule all under the sun -”
Definitely Oda Nobunaga. “Actually, you don’t really need to tell me.” Mai started approaching the temple. She wanted to stabilize the rift before the fire watch came.
The samurai smirked, “You’re a curious woman. No one’s ever spoken so impudently to me before.” He let out a loud amused laugh that echoed far into the night before continuing, “You intrigue me, which is almost as worthy of praise as saving my life. I am the lord of Azuchi Castle and Daimyo of Owari, Oda Nobunaga.”
Devil King of the Sixth Heaven, Nobunaga Oda-and he was just in the burning Honno-ji temple-meaning…
“Pardon me for asking something strange but what year is it?”
Oda Nobunaga looked confused at the question, “It is 1582. Why?” Because in the year 1582 betrayed by Akechi Mitsuhide, Oda Nobunaga committed seppuku amidst the fiery wreckage of Honno-ji. Mai signed.
“I’ve given my name; now it’s your turn.”
Oda Nobunaga took a full step forward and took her chin in his hand, forcing her to meet his eyes. “Oof!”
That surprised her. Nobunaga’s face was almost touching Mai’s as he smirked.
“Give me your name.”
“Mizusaki. Mizusaki Mai.”
“A good name.”
“Glad you approve. Now let go of me.”
Mai brushed off his hand and would have continued walking towards the burning temple if she hadn't heard a large group coming their way.
A finely dressed samurai, with grey hair in a white coat, a black chest piece and long lavender hakamas, ran to Nobunaga crying “Oyakata-sama, you’re safe!”
The man arrived at the front of a unit of soldiers, rushing toward the two.
“Mitsunari? Why are you here? Where is Hideyoshi?” Nobunaga said.
“Hideyoshi-sama sent me ahead. He should be here shortly.” He took in the sight of the burning temple with a frown. “We received information about an assassination attempt. It appears to have been true. I had my men search the grounds but whoever it was had already fled.“ Mitsunari glanced at the women beside him, "If I may ask who is this? I saw the two of you leave the temple together.”
"Mai, present yourself to my subordinate." Nobunaga indicated Mitsunari with a nod and then waited.
“I’m sorry, did I miss the part where I became a subordinate too? I don't have to follow your orders."
Nobunaga glared, “Then you’re choosing to disobey me?”
“It seems to be hard not too when one is so set on things going his way.”
Mitsunari coughed before chiming in, “Please this is on me. It was rude of me not to introduce myself first. My name is Ishida Mitsunari. I serve at the side of Toyotomi Hideyoshi-sama, Oyakata-sama’s right hand man.”
"Nice to meet you. I’m Mizusaki Mai."
Nobunaga gestured to Mai once again, "I don’t know who she is, but she roused me and saw me to safety.”
“She did! I can’t thank you enough for protecting our lord’s life.“ Mistunari bowed enthusiastically deep in a show of thanks.
“But what brought you here tonight?” Mitunari continued his questions, “You dress like a nun, but your attire is quite unusual. Are you from abroad?”
“It was the gods’ lightning that guided me here. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a fire to be dealt with and a fox to strangle.”
“What?” “What?!” was the response from both men.
They stared in shock and then disbelief.
“You poor thing. The smoke from the fire was very disorientating, I'm sure.” Mitsunari grabbed her shoulder and began guiding her away from the smokey temple grounds.
Nobunaga laughed, “Are you claiming it was a kitsune who tried to kill me?”
“I never implied that is what the kitsune was plotting, only that I know he is involved.” One of them is referring to a wily bastard of a man, the other is referring to an actual mythical being.
Mistunari interrupted, pushing the two further away, “Sit down over there and get some fresh air. Someone will bring you a change of clothes.” Mai’s sleeves were black with soot, and the hemline was burned several inches higher.
“Once you’re freshened up, you’ll feel much better.”
“Thank you.” Mai quickly bowed as a soldier approached with a bundle in his hands.
Mitsunari said, “Now let’s get you into these shall we, Ojou-sama? Prepare a tent!” before walking off to conduct the soldiers. Mai redressed in the yellow kimono, white obi, and orange haori. She changed into the clean white tabi before putting on her old geta again. Her hair clung to her back, the two braids at her temples not unwinding. Once she stepped out of the tent, Ishida-san guided her to the center of the hastily assembled camp.
“Wait, right here.“ he said, ”I’ll bring you a cup of good clean water to clear your throat. “ With him gone the only other person nearby was Nobunaga.
"You clean up well”
Mai glared as his eyes lingered in return. She turned and kept her gaze on the entrance waiting for Ishida-san to return. The smoke from the Temple started to clear. Ishida-san’s troops must have put out the fire. As she breathed the clearing air, someone parted the curtain and entered camp but it wasn’t Ishida-san.
A fox-like man, and Mai knew fox-like, approached, “Oyakata-sama. I see you are well.”
“Mitsuhide?” Nobunaga questioned his surprise appearance.
Him? The person who started this whole incident, no—the history is different this time, but how?
“I hurried when I heard about the attack,” Mitsuhide seemed not in the least bit hurried, “but it seems there was nothing for me to worry about.”
“You worry?” Nobunaga smirked, ”Don’t make me laugh. I’ve never even seen you sweat.”
Yet another person entered the camp. This, this was a man in a hurry. “Oyakata-sama! Are you injured?” He cried!
“The only injury I suffered is my pride in letting my assailant escape.” Nobunaga responded.
“I see.”
“And now Toyotomi Hideyoshi shows up!” Mai said offhandedly, she continued to study the temple ground from a distance.
“Aren’t we outspoken? Have we met?” the correctly assumed Hideyoshi said this pointedly.
Hideyoshi asked, “Akechi-san, what are you doing here?”
And Mitsuhide returned a, “ I was wondering the same thing. I didn’t know you were in Kyoto. What about the campaign?”
“When I heard about the threat to our lord’s life I dropped everything to come here. But I never heard anything about you being in Kyoto.”
Mitsuhide frowned, “Are you implying something?”
“Can you swear before our daimyo that you weren’t plotting anything?” Hideyoshi barked out.
Mitsuhide didn’t answer him. The two locked eyes, tension filling the space between them. Hideyoshi is already suspicious that he is responsible for the attack.
Finally, Mitsuhide said, “All men have secrets in chaotic times. Are you saying you act with no ambition of your own?”
“Stop being evasive! Confess!” Hideyoshi said, his eyes flared. He gripped his sword, ready to draw. “If I find that you played any part in this attack on our lord, Akechi-san, I’ll show you no mercy.”
“It wasn’t him…” Mai said, still facing away, she began untangling her hair.
“What?”
Mai looked back and said, "I caught a glimpse of the man who attacked Nobu—um, Oda-sama, but the drape of his clothes was all wrong. And Mitsuhide is spotless.” The bells the man wore also reminded her of monks. “And we were both covered in soot.” He still smelled of soot actually.
"Mizusaki-san, was it? Stay out of this.” Hideyoshi said rudely, “We’ll settle things with you later and learn why you’ve schemed to get so close to Oyakata-sama.”
“Excuse you,” Mai snarked,“I’m a nun with no interest in scheming-” A lie. Two actually, she hasn’t been a nun in a long while.
Nobunaga said, “Enough, Hideyoshi. Regardless of what brings Mitsuhide here, I am alive and well.”
Hideyoshi bowed his head, "My apologies, Oyakata-sama.” He immediately let go of his sword, his hand relaxing somewhat.
Nobunaga turned to Mai, “Hideyoshi, Mitsuhide. Leave us. I have something to discuss with Mai-gozen.”
"With me?“ Gozen?
They stepped outside as Nobunaga approached. "Your discourteous manners aside, you saved my life. I’m intrigued by you. You’re a woman who carries fortune’s favor of that I’m certain.”
Mai’s eyes widened. Nobunaga had slipped one arm around her waist, pulling her possessively toward him, his voice close, “How would you like to rule the world at my side?”
“Apologies, but I really must go; I have my duties, and you have your nation to unite…” And with that prediction for the man, she fled towards the edges of camp. “What did you say to Me!” Nobunaga called after her. Toyotomi-san and Akechi-san called on her but she fled the small camp, racing into the forest.

So I have seen a million stalker/yandere x mc
But what if the mc was the crazy yandere stalker?
Ikesen please jus like how they'd react you dont have to do a fic
Oh, Yandere? Nowadays I am not too comfortable with the theme but I can try it, though it will be very light.
Warlords react to Yandere MC (very light. MC acts more like a fan).
Oda forces.
Nobunaga Oda.
He would noticed that… you seemed a bit too obsessed with him, it reminded him of Hideyoshi. He will react like he normally does to Hideyoshi, a bit annoyed but allows you to follow him around.
Hideyoshi Toyotomi.
Hideyoshi is used to have fans (more life friends, most of which are ladies) but he never had someone obsessed over him like this. He would feel flustered and wonder why you were so interested in him.
Ieyasu Tokugawa.
Great, another one. Ieyasu had to deal with Sasuke and Mitsunari liking him a lot, being obsessed over him. Now he has a new admirer. Ieyasu will be annoyed, but he also won’t push you away.
Mitsuhide Akechi.
Hoh? He will be interested, mostly because at first he will think that you are a spy. Even if it’s revealed that you just like him a lot, Mitsuhide will like teasing you. “What’s this? A little mouse following after a fox? How amusing.”
Masamune Date.
Well, he does like the attention. Though Masamune will purposely tease you by disappearing out of sight only to appear behind you to give you a little scare.
Mitsunari Ishida.
He… probably won’t notice you, Mitsunari can be very smart, but also dense towards certain things. Others will naturally notice your obsession over him, except for Mitsunari himself.
Keiji.
He won’t like it that much, if you want to talk, be more upfront with him. No need to hide while following him around. He will notice you every time.
Ranmaru Mori.
Ranmaru is a ninja, so it’s no wonder he found out about you. Though he will find it cute and not mention that he found out about your likeness towards him. Maybe in the future he will.

Something tickled her cheek, her hand batting aimlessly at the sensation as MC turned away in her sleep.
The tickle came again, more insistent this time, and she made a soft noise of complaint, brows furrowing as she turned over again.
A soft breeze made her shiver...but had she left a window open?
The quiet shattered around a scream, felt more than heard as it set every nerve alight with the urge to flee, violently jerking her from the safety of sleep.
MC gasped deep lungfuls of air as she shot up, meeting the man beside her halfway as he reached for her. “Nobunaga-!” her voice trembled with fear and adrenaline as she clutched at him, eyes wide as she peered at him in the darkness.
“Shh, it was just an owl.”
“An owl?” Sure, she wasn’t familiar with owl calls, but she could’ve sworn the sound had come from something human...or something that had once been human. She swallowed, shivering as she asked, “Are you...Are you sure?”
Nobunaga nodded in the darkness, but his reassurance did very little to calm her racing heart, still thumping hard in her chest.
Settling back into the covers, she shivered as she curled closer to him, seeking his sturdy warmth. His fingers carded through her hair, but her mind refused to calm, still suffused with fear. Every touch against her skin felt like it could have been a thousand spiders, her hands reaching to nervously brush stray hairs away from tickling her cheeks.
More than anything, MC wished she was back home in Azuchi, in their bed in the tenshu. Hopefully Nobunaga would be able to finish his business with the daimyo who lived here soon. She didn’t like this place. It was colder than Azuchi, a strange loneliness clinging to the walls and making her skin crawl as she walked the halls. Every noise made her jump, her steps quickening as she nearly ran in search of her lover.
She had never been the superstitious type, but something felt wrong about this place, a strange heaviness to the very air she breathed. The people seemed amiable enough, but it clung to them too, this weight. Sometimes she swore she caught the hint of a more desolate expression beneath their careful smiles, like peeking beneath a mask.
When she had mentioned it to Nobunaga, hoping he could assuage her anxiety after they had been escorted to their room for the evening, she felt her heart do a little fearful dive in her chest when his eyes had narrowed, lips curling down in a frown as he said, “You noticed it too?”
Burying her face against his chest, she tried to focus on his steady breathing, on the beat of his heart, letting the comforting, strong sound calm her as she slowly sank back into the sweet embrace of sleep and dreams of home. She wanted to leave soon...
MC woke from a fitful sleep the next day, stirring when her boyfriend’s warmth left her side.
“Nobunaga?” she called, searching for him through sleep-bleary eyes.
“I want to get an early start on today’s business,” he answered, sitting down beside her on the futon, fully dressed. Her head rested on his thigh as he ran his fingers through her hair, almost lulling her back to sleep. “The sooner we’re finished here the better.”
“Agreed.”
His hand gripped her chin and she tilted her face to meet his as he bent to kiss her. She was grateful for the affection, for the warmth it spread through her tight muscles. “You may sleep longer if you wish. It’s still early,” he murmured against her mouth.
“No. I don’t think I could sleep without you.” The thought of being in this strange room alone with the walls was more than enough to drive the last of the sleepiness from her form. “I’ll be with Lady Yamayo all day.”
“Enjoying tea ceremonies?” he chuckled. The daimyo’s wife was obsessed with tea ceremonies. MC hadn’t even thought that was possible until now.
“Let me restrain my excitement,” she grumbled. Maybe she would take her chances with the walls and the eyes that seemed to follow her every move. They would be more interesting company, that was for sure.
“Retreat to me if it gets to be too much,” he said, punctuating his words with another kiss.
She couldn’t help but smile as he rose from the futon, the constant prickling at the back of her head momentarily forgotten. “I love you.”
The smile he returned had a pure, delighted edge to it as he answered, “I love you, too.” Nobunaga could deny it all he wanted, but she knew he melted inside when she said it. “I’ll see you later.”
She waved him out and then rolled over onto her back, blowing out a long breath as she stared up at the ceiling. Even the wooden beams looked too dark, as if damp from the inside out, and she half expected to see centipedes crawling among the shadows.
It had happened several times throughout their stay that MC had caught sight of some phantom movement out of the corner of her eye, but when she turned to see what it was, there was nothing there. The first few times it happened, she dismissed it as nothing more than her eyes playing tricks on her, but as the occurrences increased, she began to grow more suspicious. A couple of times, she thought she felt a tug at the hem of her kimono or a movement under her foot, but again there was nothing there. It didn’t help her nerves at all, but she wasn’t about to hide away in bed all day like a child and wait for the ghosts to get her.
Throwing off the covers, she dressed and freshened up, giving her cheeks a few pats for strength. She tried to keep her paces even as she walked down the hall to take her breakfast with Lady Yamayo, a smile on her face as she made small talk with the older woman.
She only had to suffer through a couple of rounds of tea ceremony before lunch, and then something odd occurred.
Honestly, she had very little in common with Lady Yamayo, the woman’s values a little more traditional than her own, but she got along with her well enough as long as she didn’t accidentally try to discuss deeper topics like the recent rice shortages in the neighboring province or the new irrigation systems used in the fields bordering Azuchi. No, the most important subjects she discussed with Lady Yamayo included new designs on porcelain, new strains of tea from China, and, worst of all, when she would bear Nobunaga children.
They were in the middle of a discussion *cough* interrogation *cough* concerning the last topic when MC had taken a glance outside and caught a glimpse of the nearly full moon hanging in the evening sky. A second later a shatter broke the murmur of conversation, making her jump in her seat. Lady Yamayo’s face was stuck in a look of fear and horror, her hand trembling in the air where she’d once been holding her cup.
“Are you alright?” she asked, making the other woman start.
“Y-Yes, my apologies,” she stuttered, patting her pale cheeks. “You’ll have to excuse me, Princess, I’m suddenly not feeling well.”
“Yes, please, I hope you feel better,” MC called after her as Lady Yamayo stumbled from the room, nearly tripping over the hem of her kimono in her rush. She continued to stare after her as a maid came in to take care of the mess, a basket under her arm.
“You’ll have to forgive my lady,” the young woman spoke softly, an apologetic look in her gaze as she knelt on the tatami floor. “We’re all a little anxious with the tenth full moon approaching.”
That made MC blink. “The full moon?”
The maid’s face pinched in a look of confusion as she regarded MC with a mix of surprise and anxiety. “My lady, you haven’t heard the story?”
Warning bells went off in her mind. Of course there was a story. There had to be a story to add to the creepy feeling. If this didn’t feel like some horror story already, it sure was beginning to feel that way now. She debated whether she really wanted to know as she asked, “What story?”
The maid busied herself with the bits of broken pottery, fiddling with them as she placed them in her basket. “It happened many years ago. Lady Inume, the previous daimyo’s daughter, was betrothed to the lord of the neighboring province. She was a lovely woman, graceful in all things, so it came as a surprise when she revealed that she had fallen in love with a farmer’s son.” Scooting forward, she helped with the smaller pieces of pottery as the maid continued. It was too easy to see where this was going. “The daimyo was outraged and banned them from ever seeing each other again…” she trailed off.
“And then?” she urged, her voice quiet.
“On the day of Lady Inume’s wedding to the lord, the farmer’s son appeared to rescue her, but he was killed by her father in the attempt.” MC felt her jaw drop, her worst fears about where this story was going confirmed. “Lady Inume found out, and, before the priest, her betrothed, and all those gathered, she took out a knife she’d hidden in her wedding robes and laid a curse on the daimyo and this manor before taking her own life.”
Her heart dropped in her chest, a burn forming in the back of her throat in sympathy for the poor young lovers, driven to such lengths with their love on the line. “That’s awful,” she said, and the maid nodded in agreement.
“It was a terrible tragedy, to be sure, but no one took her curse seriously...until a month later, on the night of the full moon, the tenth of that year.” The maid’s hands gripped the edge of her basket hard.
“What happened?”
“A yurei in blood spattered wedding robes terrorized the halls, tearing up the floors, flinging doors open, and wreaking havoc. Her screams for her lost lover could be heard in all corners of the manor. Lady Inume’s curse embedded itself in the house, in the walls and floors. The daimyo was found dead the next morning, scared to death. Several have tried to destroy this manor to rid it of the curse, but it remains even if every piece is burned to the ground, simply renewing itself when the manor is rebuilt. Holy men have been called from far and wide to try their hand at it but none have succeeded. If anything, they simply irritate Lady Inume’s yurei further. Every year since, on the tenth full moon, she roams the halls again, searching for her lost lover in her wedding garb.”
“But then that would be this full moon. The one happening in a couple of days?”
“Tomorrow,” the maid corrected, the word heavy with dread. “Pray that your business here is finished by then, my lady.”
The maid’s words stuck with her for the rest of the day, and she suddenly felt more in tune to the sense of disquiet that grew among the staff and daimyo’s family as the moon rose higher in the sky, so close to being full. It was a relief when the sliding door of their room finally opened to admit her lover, crimson eyes meeting hers.
“Nobunaga!” Scrambling to her feet, MC ran to give him a hug, her shoulders loosening in the safety of his hold. Her eyes sparkled as she tilted her head to look up at him, smiling wide. “Welcome back! How was your day?”
“Fruitful enough.” Leaning down, he gave her a soft kiss. “I imagine we’ll only need to stay here another few days. And yours?”
A few days? Then they would have to stay through the full moon after all. Parting from him, she sat down on the futon while he changed into his night clothes. “Listen, I heard a story about this place today, about...why it is the way it is.”
Peering over his shoulder at her, he lifted a curious brow. “Oh?”
Nobunaga listened attentively while she recounted the story of Lady Inume and her love, her curse, and her ghost, his expression narrowing as he hummed occasionally. “Do you believe it?” she asked when she’d finished the grim tale.
“Do you?” he responded.
Biting her lip, she tried to put the feeling she got from this place into words. “I’ve never been the kind to believe in ghosts, but this is a strange place. Something doesn’t feel right here.”
“I see.” He was silent for a couple moments, contemplating, before he suddenly smirked. “Meet me at the old shrine up the hill at sunset tomorrow.”
“The old shrine?” The maid had told her that after the incident with Lady Inume, the structure had fallen out of use, everyone in the area too afraid of the woman’s yurei to care for it. “Why?”
“I have something in mind, something that might appease whatever rattling spirits may or may not be causing a fuss. Either way, I promise it’ll be enjoyable for us.”
MC gave him a suspicious look as he joined her at the futon, tugging her into his arms as his smirk widened, turning downright mischievous. “Nobunaga, what do you have planned? You better not be messing around, especially with these poor people scared out of their minds.”
“It’s a surprise, but I promise you I’m not just doing this for entertainment. You’ll just have to trust me on that.”
She regarded him through a playfully narrowed gaze for another moment or so before sighing. “Fine. I’ll go along with whatever it is, so long as we don’t get in trouble, okay?”
“Deal,” he said, satisfied. “So what did you and Lady Yamayo do today?”
Groaning, she turned her face into the blankets. “You’ll never guess how many times she asked me why I wasn’t with child yet.”
Nobunaga’s deep, resounding laughter made the room a little less dark, the shadows retreating a little further into their corners.
Sure enough, the next evening MC found herself climbing the short incline up to the shrine at the top of the hill behind the manor, the trees bathed in an orange-red glow as the sun sank closer to the horizon behind her. The manor itself may have been dreary, but the surrounding forest was actually quite spectacular, animals chittering in the trees turned orange by the amber hold of autumn. No shadows lurked here, no eyes to watch her or phantom hands to reach out to grab at her. She could breathe here.
“Nobunaga!” she called his name when she reached the end of the overgrown path, beholding what once must have been a beautiful shrine. Nature had since set itself to reclaiming the structure, grass and vines climbing over the peeling red wood. One would never have guessed what terrible event had happened here so long ago.
“I’m here.”
She looked over to see her boyfriend rise from where he has been sitting at the shadowed edge of the wooden steps, the setting sun lending his hair a red tint and highlighting his strong, masculine features.
“Will you tell me what you’re planning now?” MC asked as he came closer. “We should probably get back before the moon rises.” She had barely been able to leave with the maids and Lady Yamayo warning and fussing over her.
“We won’t be returning to the manor tonight,” he rumbled, and she blinked at him as he offered her his hand. “Come,” he ordered when she looked at it questioningly, “There’s nothing to fear so long as I’m at your side.”
Without another thought, she placed her hand in his, following as he led her up the creaky steps of the shrine. She half expected to see blood stains covering the floors and walls, overturned bottles and cups hinting at what had occurred here, but the sight that greeted her was much more surprising. A gasp fell from her lips as she took in the room with wide eyes, new colors and scents greeting her with each turn of her head.
Flowers burst through the wooden floorboards and rotten tatami mats, of every brilliant shade and variety, perfuming the air. Lush vines climbed over the walls and stretched across the ceiling, draped with lengths of sweet, purple wisteria. Butterflies fluttered here and there, resting on the blooms.
How such a garden had grown, she didn’t know, but everywhere she looked, there was life, growing and vibrant and, most importantly, gentle. The maid had said that the shrine had been abandoned due to the curse laid upon it, but there was no malice here. Instead, all she felt from this place was-
“Love.”
She spun to look at Nobunaga. “What?”
“There’s nothing but love in this place,” he clarified. “Don’t you think so?”
Squeezing his hand, MC leaned into his side. “I do. It’s beautiful.” Heartachingly beautiful. “How do you think it grew so well?”
“I imagine it’s simply the course of nature and its mysterious workings, but if you wish to put it in terms of what happened here, I would say this too is part of the curse.”
“As a remnant of Lady Inume’s love?”
Nobunaga nodded. “Precisely.”
“She laid the curse as a result of her heartbreak, but behind it all was love,” she said idly, before smiling at the man beside her. “I’m surprised you thought of that. It isn’t like you to be so sentimental.”
He smiled in return, chuckling, “Of course, I don’t believe in such things as curses.” Looking back at the garden, he continued, “But when I realized this was here, I couldn’t help but think of you. When you told me the story of this place, I had to show it to you.”
She felt the love in her gaze as she looked at him, wrapping her arms around his waist as he encircled her in a strong arm. “Thank you.” The disquiet she’d felt since they’d arrived had all but disappeared, evaporated by the warmth spreading through her chest. All she felt now was love, from the inside and out.
Leaning up, MC planted a soft, lingering kiss on his waiting lips, feeling him groan when she pulled away.
“Kiss me more,” he murmured, “as my thank you.”
“Here?” she laughed, kissing him again.
“It’s better than the madness that’ll most certainly take hold of the manor tonight. So.” Taking her hand, he guided her through the flowers to a small back room she hadn’t noticed before. “Will you stay the night with me in this cursed place?”
“I can’t think of anything I would like more.”
The back room was dim in the evening light and a little dusty, but warm and comfortable. Some of the wilderness that dominated the main room had spread here as well, growing up the walls and blanketing the floor. The sweet smell of wisteria made her sigh, her muscles loose and relaxed under her lover’s hands as he caressed up and down her body behind her. Leaning into his hold, she reached back to tangle her fingers in Nobunaga’s hair as his hot mouth attached to her neck, sucking and nipping at the skin. Strong fingers smoothed across her hips to her obi, loosening the chords before letting the whole garment fall to the floor.
Slipping her kimono down her shoulder, he kissed at every inch of new skin that came into view, leaving love bites in his wake. The kimono soon joined her obi on the floor, and she turned in his arms, completely bare. Her hands went to his haori and slipped it off his broad shoulders as he pulled her close to him, swallowing the soft noises she made as he kissed her, licking past her parted lips.
Her hands smoothed over the bare skin of his chest as MC parted his robes, letting his clothes join hers. She whimpered as his naked erection pressed against her hip, squeaking when his hands gripped her rear and hoisted her up, instinctively wrapping her legs around his waist.
Night had almost completely fallen by now, only a smudge of orange light left on the horizon, but the back room was already dark, the shushing sound of cicadas in the forest beyond. The flowers and grass were soft against her back as Nobunaga laid her down, his weight between her legs as he kissed across her jaw and down the column of her throat. She moaned as he lavished her collarbones in love bites before moving on to her breasts, taking her nipple into his mouth as his hand made itself busy with the twin globe.
His groans vibrated pleasurably against her skin as he sucked the hardened peak, slowly grinding his erection through her dampening heat. A cry fell from her lips when the tip of his cock prodded her clit, her body arching into him as her arms wrapped around his neck, hugging his face closer to her breasts.
“You make such beautiful sounds for me,” Nobunaga panted, releasing her swollen nipple with a wet pop. He lavished the same attention on the other nipple, teasing the sensitive bud after his fingers had pinched and twisted and rolled it to his satisfaction.
“Nobunaga, please!” she whined, rolling her hips against his to create more of that delicious friction. An ache was beginning to form in her lower belly, her core clenching around nothing as his thick length slid through her folds and coated the hot, velvety skin in her slick.
He chuckled, hot breath fanning against her cheek as he nipped at the soft spot beneath her ear. “Patience, fireball, I’ll take you soon enough, but I intend to bring you to the brink of pleasure first, until you’re begging for me to shove myself inside of you.”
Whining, MC writhed under his hands as he groped down her body, hoisting one leg over his hip while the other spread her other leg to the side. She felt his stare in the darkness, spread open for his taking, and his growl echoed through the small room. “You’re positively glistening, my love. You have no idea how much I desire you.”
“Then take me!” she whispered, biting her lip. She could feel her arousal seeping through her folds, drenching her inner thighs.
His fingers brushed through the delicate petals of her entrance, gathering her sweetness on the digits. “So wet for me,” he rumbled as she trembled under the touch, rolling her hips into his hand. “And so sensitive,” he finished, his voice a deep, satisfied purr.
Without warning, Nobunaga sank a finger deep into her heat, his thumb brushing her swollen clit as her back arched and a cry of pleasure filled the room. MC almost feared disturbing the flowers with the sound, but she could barely bring herself to care with her lover crooking his fingers so deliciously inside of her, rubbing harshly at her clit as he did. The pleasure made stars bloom across the dimness, her hands running through the grass and stems at her sides in search of a handhold.
“Ah!” His fingers found the sensitive spot inside of her, her hands flying to his shoulders to dig her nails into his muscles. “Yes, right there!”
She felt his smirk widen against her breast, mouthing at the skin as he continued to rub that spot inside of her, scissoring his fingers in preparation for something much larger. The lewd sounds of his digits disappearing inside of her filled the space, and the grass scraped softly against her back as MC moaned and twisted, the smell of her lover and wisteria filling her senses in a heavenly combination.
She was getting close, so, so close, her pleasure intensifying as her climax approached. Tears of pleasure beaded at the corners of her eyes as his thumb swiped against her clit again, sending shockwaves through her body. “N-Nobunaga, I’m-!” she whined, feeling herself approaching the brink of her climax, but just as she thought it would overtake her in sweet ecstasy, his fingers pulled out of her, making her cry out in frustration as her orgasm fell away.
His weight fell over her, skin to skin, and she screamed his name as he sheathed himself inside of her in one smooth stroke, his fingers digging into her hips and rumbling a groan of her name as her clenching heat welcomed him. Sensitive as she was from his foreplay, her climax seized her at the feeling of his thick, hot weight stretching and filling her so perfectly, the vein that ran along the underside of his cock pulsing against her g-spot.
Nobunaga grunted and growled as she came around him, drenching him in her release. His fingers tore at the grass next to her, dropping his head to the crook of her shoulder as he gasped. Breathless chuckles fanned against her skin as he leaned back to look at her, a bead of sweat running down the side of his neck. “You almost made me come there, fireball.” Reaching up, he brushed her hair away from her sweaty forehead. “So tight and sensitive for me…”
MC had barely recovered before he pulled away to thrust back into her hard, drawing screams from her in the aftershocks of her climax. “Too much!” she cried, holding on to him for dear life as he plunged into her again and again, pounding her into the soft bed of flowers.
“Take it,” he grunted, grasping her hips to pull her impossibly closer, impaling her on his cock. His lips captured hers in a sloppy kiss, brimming with passion and need as he dominated her mouth. “Take it all!”
Here, in this backroom garden, it felt like they were the only people in the entire world, just them and the flowers and the ghosts of a time long passed, the proof of those old lovers’ bond in the air and ground and walls.
In the arms of the one she loved most, flowers caressing her cheeks and tangling in her hair, MC cried with love and need, her body aglow with the heat and intensity of her ardor. She needed him like the air she breathed, a part of her just as her heart and mind were.
“I love you,” Nobunaga murmured, his voice heavy with emotion. “I need you. You’re my better half, my reason to do good.” His lips brushed the corners of her eyes in a rare show of tenderness, kissing her pleasured tears away. “Everything good in my world stems from you.”
There was something desperate in his voice, echoing from a fear of loss buried deep inside of him. Faintly, her mind wandered to Lady Inume and her farmer, to the troubles they were unable to overcome and the tragic ending that awaited them. It was too sad to think they were never able to be together even in the afterlife. She and Nobunaga had been through their fair share of troubles as well, but through pain and love and sheer force of will they’d managed to work their way through it. If she had been in Lady Inume’s position, if Nobunaga had been that farmer’s son, would she have had the strength to do the same?
Biting her lip, she drew her lover impossibly closer, wrapping him tight in her arms. If she could’ve she would’ve never let him go, kept him safe from everything and everyone that would dare harm him. “I love you, too,” she panted, gazing into those wide red eyes as she cupped his cheek in her palm. “Never let go of me.”
“Never,” he vowed, and she mewled and cried his name as the angle of his thrusts changed, turning more forceful as he hilted inside of her, branding his name into the deepest parts of her. She nearly came when the tip of his cock slammed into the sweet spot deep inside of her, ramming into it again and again as he worked her closer to her climax.
“I won’t last much longer if you keep squeezing me like that,” he growled, his hips moving with primal, wild abandon and his balls smacking against her ass. The sound of skin against skin echoed around the room, almost too loud in the quiet of the night.
“Please! Hah…! I’m - I’m so close! Don’t stop!” she begged, the heel of the leg wrapped around his waist digging into the base of his spine, urging him to keep going.
“Give me all of your pleasure,” he demanded, biting at her neck and shoulders, “Give me everything.” With a rough pinch to her clit and another deep thrust, MC came around him, her scream echoing off the ivy covered walls of the small room. Nobunaga followed close behind, rocking into her through his orgasm as he muffled his grunt against her skin, shooting his seed deep into her core.
Strong arms wrapped around her, keeping her close as he rolled off of her. Neither of them said anything, exhausted, but the soft kiss he placed to her forehead conveyed more than enough. The sweet scent of the flowers and their lovemaking filling the air around them, they fell asleep in each other’s arms, comforted on a bed of flowers.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Later that night, MC found herself sitting on the steps of the shrine, having left her lover peacefully sleeping in the back room.
The full moon had risen high in the sky, illuminating the manor at the base of the hill. From here, she could see that there were lights on inside the building, and she wondered if Lady Inume’s yurei had indeed appeared as they had feared, the pain of losing the one she loved reaching beyond the grave.
“What are you doing out here?” Turning, she smiled as Nobunaga emerged from the shrine, a frown on his face. “I was cold, sleeping without you.”
“Sorry. I just wanted to look at the moon.”
“Hmm.” Taking a seat behind her, Nobunaga wrapped his arms around her waist, leaning forward to rest his chin on her shoulder. “Do you think the yurei appeared?”
“I hope not,” she sighed, snuggling into the warmth of his hold to fend off the night chill. “And I hope they aren’t worried when they find we haven’t returned.”
The man behind her scoffed, kissing one of the marks he had left on her neck earlier. “Pay that no mind. Just think of me right now.”
“As you wish,” MC chuckled, expecting more kisses, but just then she felt him stiffen behind her, his grip on her tightening protectively. “Nobunaga?” A large hand covered her mouth, silencing her. A little annoyed and more alarmed, she raised a brow at him over her shoulder, but he wasn’t looking at her, his eyes fixed on something on the path ahead.
Turning to see what he was looking at, she gasped and pressed back into him, clutching at his arms around her.
The forest had gone completely silent except for the sound of dead leaves scuttling across the ground, carried along by a cold wind. Standing on the path, just in sight of the shrine, was a pale figure clad entirely in white. She stood far away, but it was obvious she was looking their way, locks of wispy black hair blowing in the breeze. It was impossible to make out her expression or any features, but a dark smudge marred the front of her white wedding robes, stark in the light of the full moon.
The woman stood like that, staring at them, for several moments, and MC thought she could surely hear her heart pounding in her chest, hear proof of the life rushing through her veins. The hairs on the back of her neck stood straight up and she could feel goose bumps rising on her arms. The logical part of her tried to reason that it must be one of the villagers or someone from the manor, out for a late night stroll, but the other, more instinctual part of her screamed, urging her to cower and run from this being that she sensed as inhuman.
The stillness almost grew to be too much, nearing its breaking point, but as they watched, a second figure appeared from the treeline along the path, drawing the woman’s attention. A tall male approached her without fear, clad in simple brown robes. They seemed to exchange a few words, too distant to hear, and then he took her hand, drawing her close to him.
With a last look at Nobunaga and MC, the couple disappeared out of sight down the path, fading into thin air. She held her breath long after they were gone, the sounds of the forest steadily coming back to life.
When she tried to speak her lover’s name nothing came out, so she turned to curl into him instead, shaking.
“Gods,” he invoked quietly, his voice a little strained. “That had to have been one of the villagers,” he grunted, “Or a trick of the eyes?”
“That we both saw?” she whispered.
Looking at each other, a couple of heartbeats passed and then they burst into laughter, the kind tinged with adrenaline and relief, hearts beating madly in their chests as a reminder that they were alive and real...even if what they had just witnessed was questionably so.
Somehow MC didn’t think Lady Inume’s yurei was all that vengeful anymore.

Ikemen Sengoku comforting a MC that is feeling sick
Platonic! MC x suitor
1. Nobunaga Oda :
He calls you to his tenshu and lets you rest near his huge balcony while seeing the stars. Asks you if you're feeling okay or not from time to time. Feeds you konpeito as a reward. Huffs when you don't like them. Whistles in the air for Haguro and demands that he entertain you.
2. Hideyoshi Toyotomi :
Prohibits you from doing any work at all. You have to lay down and rest. Don't worry, your older brother will arrive with a tub of water and a clean cloth to put on your forehead. Cleans up your room as he rambles about Mitsuhide's deeds. Notices you sleeping an hour later.
3. Masamune Date :
Brings his tiger to snuggle with you and to provide you comfort. Makes your favourite dishes and soup. Feeds you soup even though your nose is blocked and you can't taste it very well. Sad boy when you tell him that you're full and can't eat anymore.
(Will you eat sexy eyepatch daddy's cooking? Cause I sure will)
4. Mitsuhide Akechi :
Stops teasing you for once and actually gets serious. Wraps you up in a 100 layers and tells you to sleep like the darling mouse you are. Spies on you to make sure you eat. Threatens to use "unfair means" to tease you to submission if you don't listen to him. Smirks when you make a pouty face.
5. Ieyasu Tokugawa :
Actually knows what to do in this scenario. Gives you the appropriate food and medicine. Let's you braid his hair after you plead with him a million times. You heal quickly thanks to Ieyasu's vast knowledge of medicine. Blushes when you thank him for taking care of you.
6. Mitsunari Ishida :
Clueless boy tries his best. Reads you stories with his soothing voice. Calls Ieyasu for help and gets scolded by Ieyasu. Smiles at you goofily when you tell him to answer Ieyasu back with the same demeanor. Forgets you exist when he starts reading his books.
7. Keiji Maeda :
Tells you to go horseback riding with him or climb a tree with him and gets spanked by Hideyoshi. Tries very hard to come up with a good reasoning for you to climb up a tree and fails. Makes you laugh by saying extremely shitty jokes. Later he tries to climb a tree, sees a snake and pisses his pants.
(Sorry Keiji XD)
8. Ranmaru Mori
Brings you peaches and volunteers to massage your shoulders or any area that you feel pain. Gets flustered when you tell him to dance for you. Carries you around if you need to be somewhere and realizes that you still need more rest. Guards you at night even though there are soldiers outside and inside the castle.
9. Kenshin Uesugi :
Tries to "kill" this so called virus which he heard from Sasuke. Goes into big brother mode and chases Shingen away when he comes to flirt with you. Only him, Ume, Take, and Matsu are allowed to visit you. He doesn't want anyone to bother his sister.
10. Shingen Takeda :
Thinks flirting will make you feel well and has clearly never been more wrong in his whole life. Tells the cook to prepare your favourite sweets and hot soup. Wants to feed you but later is withheld by a meeting. Sends you a hairclip as a get well soon gift.
11. Yukimura Sanada :
Tries very hard to not get into a stupid fight with you. Calls you a dummy for falling sick and not taking care of yourself. Is shocked when you start crying and confused when you fall asleep after that. Is very unfamiliar with the concept of "mood swings". Grumbles about it and later gets sick too because he slipped on a banana peel and fell into the castle pond.
(MC set him up lmaoo)
12. Sasuke Sarutobi :
His knowledge of modern medicine was immense, but unfortunately there weren't many tools to work with in the Sengoku period. Tries to cheer up his modern day bff with vines and tiktok dances he learnt. Later they both fangirl about Ieyasu and scream. Sasuke is now prohibited from visiting MC's room because he gave her a sore throat from all that laughing.
13. Kanetsugu Naoe :
Can't care more about some rat being sick. He still helps you though, by telling you he has postponed your punishment. It doesn't help much, but you know Kanetsugu is warming up to you. Fangirls about Kenshin to you and later gets caught by Sasuke. He later is seen chasing the ninja throughout the castle.
14. Yoshimoto Imagawa :
Lets you lay your head on his lap as he plays with your hair. Massages your scalp very gently and makes sure everything you need is available. Offers you freshly cut up fruit and chats with you all day long. Surprised to hear that you too have an exquisite eye for clothes and fashion. Wants to go shopping with you someday.
15. Motonari Mouri :
Tells his men to steer the ship a little slowly and barks at anyone who says that the new girl made him weak. Takes you out on the deck to get your mind off your sickness. Cooks for you and scoffs when you tell him he added too much salt. Surprised to see you sleep walking on the deck late at night and asks what were you doing. He remembers being knocked out by someone and wakes up with a bruised nose the very next day.
(MC sleep-punched Moto)
16. Kicho :
Gives you chocolate which he got from a foreign trader. Happy to see you're all well and smiling now. Offers to give you a bigger room if that is what will make you happy. Clicks his tongue when you tell him that you don't need a bigger room or any fancy treatment. Disgusted when Motonari comes to visit and winks at you saying that it will make you feel better.
17. Kennyo :
Prays for you and for your health. Gives you herbs and advice on how to take care of yourself properly next time. Brews warm tea for you and gives you snacks. Insists you rest up and not care about anything else for the meantime. Will definitely get Ranmaru to dance for you if that is what the situation asked for.

No one humbles them like their toddlers
~~~
Imagine Nobunaga with a mini him
Like he's in a meeting with the other warlords holding his toddler who was playing with a toy and becomes entranced by their papa who is speaking.
And everyone’s faces turn to shock as their lord was dealt a serious blow to his face.
Headline: Lord Nobunaga taken quick and strong by wooden toy! The blow was dealt by none other than his own child!!!
And further all the warlords look on in astonished surprise as this man has a full on conversation with his babbling baby as to why you can't hit daddy in the face.
OR
Alternatively, he raises his sons challenge, in the middle of war council...
Flowers for Your Love (IkeSen Gift Exchange)
Pairing: Nobunaga Oda x MC/Reader
Warnings: Angst, hurt/comfort, heartbreak
Notes: I am so thankful to have been a part of this lovely gift exchange! I was given the opportunity to write for the lovely Riza ( @dreamscapesin1582 )! I know you like angst and hurt/comfort, so I wrote the most heart-wrenching concept I could come up with, with a little comfort at the end. I changed the idea for this fic about a hundred times, but I finally felt like this one was the one. I so so hope you like it!!!
Bryn ( @ikemenlibrary ) & Sunny ( @sunnyikemen ), you all were amazing hosts and I loved getting to know you through the discord! I'm glad to have you all as some of my lovely moots now. <3
You sewed in silence, gazing up at the stars in the blackened sky every now and again, thoughts of him swirling in your head. You knew you only had 3 months here, in this time and place that was so very far away from home. It was odd, how the absence of unfamiliarity had become so… comforting. It was almost as though you had yearned for this place, before even knowing it was possible to get here; or perhaps it was yearning for him, the man that consumed your every waking thought. You would not be too startled to learn that your heart was aware of him long before you were. Perhaps he was even the reason that you, of all people, were dragged backwards in time to crash down in front of Honno-ji on that fateful night; to save him; to meet him; to love him.
Love was a thorn to you, a fated disaster. But your rose-tinted heart accepted the thorn without so much as a backward glance as Nobunaga Oda looked down at you with a glimmer in his eyes and the most beautiful smirk that you had ever seen playing across his pink lips. His “lucky charm” he called you. Little did he know how delicately twisted the flower that bloomed in your chest had become since that moniker had graced you. You longed for him; to touch him, kiss him, to have him hold you in his strong arms.
You longed alone.
Sighing, you let your sewing needle tumble to the floor beneath your bent legs and leaned against the stone wall next to you, your heart heavy. That woman was probably with him now, you thought, thinking back to the gorgeous woman who had arrived with several of the men from the nearby town. They had come to Azuchi to appeal to Nobunaga about trading linens for farming supplies, which the town was desperately in need of. She had entered behind the three men, keeping her head low as was respectful, but you saw the twinkle in her eye appear once she laid eyes on him; your warlord. A stinging pain struck the back of your throat as the thought hit. No, he was not yours. That much was evident, what with the way he smiled at her and entertained her fancy. You wished he would smile at you that way, and let his eyes dance for you, the way yours danced for him.
Proof of your love sprouted from your lips and you sobbed, coughing the delicate colors onto the ground. How could something so beautiful have become so carnivorous? It devoured you from the inside out, taking with it all of your joy and vibrance, leaving you pale and weak.
“MC?” a soft voice echoed through the night and you turned abruptly, meeting Hideyoshi’s caramel colored eyes, laced with concern, emerging from the dark.
“Hideyoshi,” you tried to steady your breath, the barbs inside you scratching against the gauzy and torn sides of your lungs.
“Why are you out so late?” he asked, walking over to sit down beside you.
“I just wanted to finish up this kimono.” you lied, brushing the fabric in your lap down hurriedly.
“What happened to these flowers?” Hideyoshi gestured to the petals on the ground, then looked around as if searching for something. “I don’t see the stems anywhere. You really took them apart, huh?” he chuckled. “Who dared to bring you flowers you didn’t like, MC?” Hideyoshi was smiling obliviously until he turned to face you and saw your tears shimmering like glitter in the moonlight. His grin faded into a grim understanding as the coughing began. “No, MC… no. Not that. Anything but that.” You nodded through your wheezing and his arms engulfed you comfortingly, pulling you close to his warm chest. “Who?” he asked flatly, stroking your hair as you struggled to breathe, finally ejecting the petals onto the ground to join the others.
“N- No” you struggled with your words, your voice hoarse and raspy.
“Nobunaga?” Hideyoshi guessed your intentions and you nodded, quietly sinking into the warlord's arms. The pain lasted for ages after an attack, and you knew the sharp edges of the thorns that grew inside you had lacerated tissue in their attempts at escaping out your mouth. You were being eaten; destroyed, and your only option now was death. When the first stipule had appeared, death seemed so far away and so frightening to you. But after weeks of hurling color from your bosom and feeling the scrape of unrequited love burning inside of you, death was ever present, and oh, so welcoming. You laid in Hideyoshi’s arms, waiting for it to take you, for some kind of respite. But it didn’t come; it never came, and you cursed the gods above for leaving you to suffer this way.
“Come on, let me take you to bed.” Hideyoshi whispered somberly, cradling you in his arms delicately as he picked your mutilated form from off the ground and lifted you into the air with ease. You hadn’t the heart to respond, nor the energy to nod. So you simply went limp and allowed him to maneuver you where he would.
A deep, resounding voice shook you to life and you rolled your head away from Hideyoshi’s chest to confirm your vibrating hope. “Hideyoshi, what are you doing with MC?”
“It is as Mitsuhide predicted, Lord Nobunaga.” Hideyoshi answered. You couldn’t bother to care what they were discussing; your eyes were locked onto Nobunaga’s face, weathered and tired, and full of worry. He wasn’t with her. The vines inside you coiled tighter around your sensitive organs, almost as though they were anticipating the fall, but you paid them no mind. If you died by them tonight, at least you would see his eyes trained upon you once more before you made your peace.
“Give her to me, I will care for her.” was his gentle reply, and you were transferred from one set of arms to another. The moment his skin touched yours, your eyes fell closed, an obscene amount of relief flooding your weary body. The vines put away their thorns and allowed you to rest for the first time in weeks. “Nobunaga,” you whispered weakly, and you could have sworn you felt a pillowy kiss being pressed to your temple before your mind faded into the bliss of sleep.
You hummed, squinting at the golden sunlight against your eyelids; your eyes not yet ready to reopen to the world. It was warm where you lay, comfortable in a way you could never remember knowing before. You snuggled closer to that warmth and smiled, a cloud-like euphoria settling over you. “It seems you needed that rest.” a low, velvety rumble of a voice reached your ears and your eyes, previously heavy, snapped open to reveal Nobunaga laying in front of you, his deep carnelian eyes gazing into your own, an affectionate smile on his lips. His kimono had lazily fallen to the side, revealing the pale skin of his chest to you, and his fingers trailed up and down your side at a leisurely pace.
“I’m… dreaming.” you croaked, your voice fighting to leave your throat.
“No, my darling. You are not.” Nobunaga replied, a hint of regret in his eyes as he reached up to tuck a stray hair behind your ear. “Had I known sooner, you never would have suffered.”
“Known…” you spluttered, trying to come to an understanding.
“Hanahaki,” he said softly. “It never would have plagued you had I been more forward, more blatant.”
“I, I don’t understand, Nobunaga.” you whispered. “What are you saying?”
“I am saying that you do not love alone, my darling.” he murmured, his gaze never leaving yours. “And if I had told you such to begin with, that horrible disease would have never touched your beautiful body.”
Your breath caught in your throat as you stared at him with widened eyes. “You- love… that’s what you meant last night.” a flash of memory from the night before filled your mind’s eye.
“Mitsuhide suggested it. He saw your pallor skin and sunken eyes.” Nobunaga confirmed. “I do not know how he is familiar with it, but he recognized it almost immediately. Hideyoshi proved it such last night after seeing you in-” he shuddered visibly. “such a state.”
“Nobunaga,” you cupped his cheek and propped yourself up on your elbow. “Say it. I need to hear you say it. Please.” You felt them, coming to life inside of you, the thorns pressing against the walls of your stomach, the petals beginning to tickle the back of your throat, a gag nearing. They felt it; they felt how close they were to dying.
“My darling,” Nobunaga neared you, his nose brushing against yours. “I love you.” he hummed against your lips, finally taking them as his own. The flowers within you burst apart, shedding into hundreds of pieces as joy overwhelmed them. You smiled against your warlord’s lips.
You are free. He is yours. You are his.
I’m so excited that you’re taking requests! May I ask for some Mitsuhide headcanons? Any are fine (although I do love an in-love!Mitsu 👀)! Thank you so much dear!! 💘💞
Omg I was so happy when I got this request cuz Mitsuhide is the LOML. (Also perfect timing cuz I just finished re-reading his route). I’m not sure what kind of headcannons you wanted but I’m just kind of rambling based on the reasons I love him.😂 (+ NSFW)
(Also I wrote these at 3am if there’s any spelling errors pls don’t kill me😭)
Hope you like it!❤️❤️
Tagging: @aurora-morning @writer-akihiko @ikemenvmpire @judgemental-seal @delicateikemenmemes
Mitsuhide is...so incredibly soft. Sometimes when you’re sleeping next to him, he just takes in your beauty and listens to your heartbeat. Knowing you are alive and in his arms, warms his heart more than you could ever know.
He cannot believe that someone who radiates so much love and light would fall for someone like him, but he is eternally grateful that he is blessed enough to have the chance to love you with his entire being.
As much as he teases you, this man LIVES to pamper and please you. Muscle pain after sparring with Kyubei? (Or other activities with Mitsu). Mitsuhide will use his extensive knowledge of the human body to give you the most mindblowing massage you’ve ever had. (And he will equally enjoy hearing your satisfied noises at his touches.)
He is extremely perceptive, especially when it comes to you. If you are upset, or anxious, or in pain, he will know right away without needing to be told and will act accordingly. He will insist on going back to your home and giving you some time away from work so you have a chance to relax with him.
He may be a secretive person but everyone on the Oda Forces knows just how much “Mitsuhide Akechi adores his wife”. He can’t help it, it just slips out. Whether it’s through his words or his actions, everyone in Azuchi knows he only has eyes for you.
Mitsuhide has the utmost respect for you (he chugs his respect women juice daily) and will consider your opinions on his work a great help. There may be some parts of his job that he isn’t allowed to with you. However, 90% of the time he will tell you everything he’s been doing and will ask for your advice.
Sometimes he feels like you know him even better than he knows himself. And he knows that even if the whole world considers him a murderer and amonster, you will always be there to hold him and remind him that you love him and that he is a hero in your eyes.
Even for him, it’s sometimes too much to handle, and on those days he will come and lay down with you, resting his head on your chest as you stroke his hair and allow him to finally rest. He won’t admit it publicly but, being in your arms feels like the safest place in the world for him. He never thought that he would experience the luxury of having such a place to return to after his battles. A true home.
If you like to cook, you better believe Mitsuhide will eat everything you make, regardless of whether he can taste it or not. (He says he doesn’t need to taste the flavor because he can taste the love you put into it.)
He is known for neglecting his basic needs, and while he has gotten better at it ever since you came into his life, his level of self care is still unacceptable.
However, if you come in and insist he take a break because he’s overworking himself, his heart will absolutely just melt at seeing how much you care about him. (Is it the bare minimum? Yes. Has anyone ever taken care of him like that? No.) He is so starved of love and affection that even the most minor things will melt his heart.
Mitsuhide also loves to tease you, just to see your reactions. It’s incredibly entertaining when he whispers a dirty joke to you and smack his arm because “We are in public Mitsuhide.” It amuses him to no end.
He also loves teasing the others with you, and you two make the best pranking team in Azuchi.
You two have increased Hideyoshi’s migraine levels, but he lets it slide after seeing Mitsuhide look so happy for the first time in his life.
Hideyoshi has never seen Mitsuhide smile like that at anyone before, and he’s just glad Mitsu finally has someone to love and depend on. (Though sometimes he wishes that person was him. We’re not gonna unpack all that right now)
Random Headcannon: Modern AU Mitsuhide would be an amazing dancer. Like Michael Jackson type shit.
NSFW Below the Cut
Mitsuhide lives to please you and that translates to the bedroom as well. He is a switch through and through, but he could eat you out for hours. (Lying isn’t the only thing he’s good at using his tongue for).
His favorite place to be is between your thighs with your hand tugging at his hair, bringing his face even closer to your dripping core. You are his priority and he will not partake in his own pleasure until he has seen you come twice at least.
He loves to hear you beg, and will torture you for hours with phantom touches that allow you a small taste of the pleasure he can give. He will leave you desperately wanting more until you are crying his name and begging him to finally take you because you can’t handle any more of his teasing.
It’s truly a game to see how long he can keep his own composure before letting go and loosing himself in mindblowing pleasure. Oh and when he does...when he finally lets himself take you the way he’s been wanting to...you won’t be walking straight the next day.
The expression on your face, and the way you cry out his name with tears of pleasure running down your cheeks when he finally pounds you into the futon send him into ecstasy like he had never known before. He will keep going until your legs are shaking and your voice is hoarse from screaming his name so many times throughout the night.
He has a hidden chest of various toys and ropes, and secretly one of his greatest fantasies is to be tied up, completely at your mercy as you “punish” him for his teasing behavior. Nothing brings him more pleasure than feeling the rope dig into his skin, being unable to move as you teasingly suck him off, stopping right as he gets to the edge. He also loves seeing you ride him, using him as a device for your own pleasure.
Mitsuhide is normally not very loud, however, if you edge him enough, it will break all self control he has as he desperately moans your name and bucks his hips, just to try and finally feel himself buried deep inside you.
Once you free him of his bonds he will immediately flip you over, licking down your chest and throwing your legs over his shoulders as he drills you into whatever surface he decided to rail you on that day.
If you’re not too tired, he will even bathe you himself as he kisses every part of your body telling you how amazingly beautiful you are in the afterglow of your lovemaking.
Afterwards, he pulls you close to his chest and kisses your forehead, as he tells you how much he loves you and how euphoric you make him feel. Nights like these are one of the few times Mitsuhide will fall asleep right away as the languid exhaustion overtakes him.
Me: opens requests
Also me: immediately rushes off to write 1k of angsty Yuki sex that no one asked for
Oops.
Yukimura x MC
Disclaimer: Characters belong to Cybird, not me!
Word Count: ~1.2k
WARNINGS: Sexual content 18+ (Do NOT read if underage); major spoilers for chapter 7 of Yukimura’s route (that probably everyone knew about except for me lmao)
On AO3 here
Yukimura’s blood had frozen in his veins when he saw her behind Nobunaga on the battlefield. A dangerous mistake to lose focus while death creeps so close, waiting for a single misstep, but he was powerless to stop the wash of terror that rushed through him.
Now, alone in the forest with her, his racing pulse begins to thaw. He takes a deep breath in, sick relief filling his lungs at seeing her safe, at her adamant denial of being Nobunaga’s lover.
He has no right to this mitigation, yet he feels it still, sweet among the acrid taste of bitterness that lingers at the back of his throat.
Yukimura knew that the happiness he’d felt with her could never last, lies piling upon lies until he was nearly drowning in them - it crushes him, the realization that each blissful coincidence that had thrown them together was simply the cruel hand of fate weaving his own demise.
What an intricate and brutal design it is.
When she addresses him by his merchant name, “Yuki” falling with familiarity from her perfect lips, it hits him like a punch to the gut.
“Not Yuki.” He fumes, full of anger, raging at the gods for cursing him so. “I have always been Yukimura. Your enemy.”
He is, the truth burning his lips as he speaks it, sharp and vile on his tongue. Fists clenching at his sides to hide the way he shakes.
Yet she refutes him with passion curling in her voice, so radiantly beautiful in this moment that Yukimura nearly has to shield his eyes. Words that he’s been yearning to hear are abruptly said out loud, tangible in the air around them; part of him despises that this moment is tainted with the sting of betrayal.
He is desperate, so wildly out of control when he pleads with her to stop. Not knowing how the hell he will possibly cope if she utters one more word.
Yet she does, and he moves - jerking forward to catch her around the waist. His arms ache to hold her, the shape of her body fitting just right against his own.
It’s not enough.
The scent of her surrounds him, wreaking havoc on his muddled thoughts. Her touch on his neck, eyes beseeching him and he’s too weak to refuse her; body leaning down to press his lips to hers before his mind even fully registers the movement.
It’s heaven and hell all at once, soft mouth immediately parting for him. He’s never tasted anything so good in his life; frighteningly addicted to the feel of her, the whine she makes when his fingers tighten on her back.
Alarm bells ring in his head and he rips himself away, begging once more for her to go, to leave.
She must escape him now. He won’t be able to hold back if she doesn’t.
When she denies him once more, securing herself ever closer into his embrace, something inside him just-
Snaps.
They tumble to the earth below, Yukimura barely registering their surroundings. A touch on his cheek as she says his name, his real name, and fire blooms deep in him at the sound of it. He can’t keep his hands from her anymore, not for one more moment, a near-frenzy lighting through him; she clearly feels the same, fingers clenching hard in his hair, tugging sharp enough that it pricks at his eyes. He’s grateful for the pain of it, grounding him.
His mouth is bruised from kissing her, buzzing with it, lips swollen and sensitive. They’re tongue to tongue; just like he’s been dreaming about every night since the festival, his heart slamming against his ribs with such force that he wonders if she can sense it with how intimately they’re tangled together.
He fumbles at her clothes, so far from graceful that he would be embarrassed but for the way her movements stutter as well; both unwilling to separate from one another for long enough to do this properly. He has one hand entwined in her hair, holding her steady as he ravages her mouth; the other immediately seeking out the skin that has been uncovered.
She gasps into him when his palm finds her breast, nipple hardening under his touch. Her body jerks upward, his hips following her back down; a sharp grind has his thigh slipping between her own, and the whimper she lets out at this makes his head spin.
Pulling back just long enough to whisper out a desperate, “Please,” against his jaw, their fingers begin struggling in unison to finish divesting the remainder of their clothing.
There’s a painful sadness resting low in his heart. This isn’t how he wanted to take her for the first time. He wishes he could draw it out, revealing his own vulnerability as he reveals her body; committing every inch to memory.
They don’t have time to waste for him to dwell on that though. The caress of her skin on his is intoxicating; when her hand wraps around the length of him, he has to grit his teeth against a broken sound that threatens to leave his throat.
She guides him closer, until he’s rubbing against where she is so slick. His breath catches, and in the space of a blink he is pushing inside.
White noise fills his head as he bottoms out. She’s so tightwethot inside, like nothing he’s ever experienced before. It’s a long moment before he has the strength to move, nearly over before it’s even begun. Her legs wrap around him, urging him on as she frantically mouths at his throat; he thinks wildly that he could die like this, before he closes his eyes and moves.
He makes love to her there on the forest floor, the stars the only witness to their passion.
Her hand reaches down between her legs, breath shivering out of her chest, fingers managing a few tight circles before she breaks, head falling back on a moan.
It’s only a few more thrusts before he follows, the rhythmic clenching of her around him too much to bear; she refuses to let him move back enough to pull out, grasping his shoulders with all of her strength.
He shudders his way through orgasm, each thought of her taking everything he has to give only causing him to grind in deeper.
She kisses him before he’s fully come down from the high, shaking in each other’s arms.
When she falls asleep at his side, he stares at the glow of moonlight highlighting her features; mouth still red as evidence of their lust.
He’s in love with her.
He knows it, feels it from the top of his head to the very tips of his toes, even though he hasn’t experienced such a thing before.
She turns towards him and sighs in her sleep, seeking out the warmth of his chest. He closes his eyes and holds her, tries hard to forget what comes in the morning.
The light comes too soon, Yukimura not having slept a wink. He lingers when he wraps the hastily discarded kimono around her, eyes tracing every curve, fingertips brushing along the swell of her lower lip.
When he departs, he leaves his heart there with her, fragile and broken; slowly making his way back to camp.
