Notes: Pt. 2 to this fic. Where Idia messes up one of the readers friendships when he’s blinded by his jealousy. And it makes them mad.

For the rest of the day your mind was practically on autopilot. You got kissed by your… whatever Idia was to you at the moment, and he just ran off! How dare he. Just do that and leave.

That memory was running through your head for the rest of the day. The way Idia cupped your face. How he slammed his lips on yours in that passionate kiss. Now that you’ve fully processed everything you had so many other thoughts and questions. Your original question still has not been answered. But one was answered. A question you didn’t even know you had.

How Idia kissed you. The way he was so passionate about it, how desperate he seemed. Was that why he tried to ruin your friendship? Because he wanted to kiss you? Once you thought back to your now ex-friend, Azul’s words popped into your head. ‘If someone drops your friendship for a small secret.. were they really your friend?’ Maybe Azul was right. Nono, he was right. You just didn’t want to admit it.

But hey, Idia had no reason to steal your journal and look through your private things and then go around telling others. Who did he think he was?!

He was a love-obsessed fool. Idia looked at the picture on his home screen. It was a picture of you, him, and Ortho when you three were all playing a game together. It was Mario Kart, and you won again, for the hundredth time. The boy had his forever-evident frown on his face while he continued staring at the photo, wanting to go back to that exact moment.

When Ortho took the photo of you three. You were cheering and Idia was smiling and had his hand up to give you a high five. And Ortho was in the corner with a mischievous smile as he clicked the button to take the picture without you two realizing it at first

That was probably one of, if not the best, moments in Idia’s life. You, him, and his brother. All hanging out in his dorm playing your favorite game and eating snacks. It made a little smile appear on his face. Before it went away just as quickly as it came, as Idia remembered the events. Those fun moments in his room, watching Anime, and playing video games. Those weren’t going to happen anymore.

Because he was jealous over nothing. Over someone who was just your friend. Well to you he was just a friend. Or that’s what Idia hoped. Not because he wanted to be your boyfriend, but because he thought you were better than that stupid guy—Wilhelm—even the name sounds stupid. He didn’t deserve you… and neither did Idia.

“Big brother,” Ortho spoke up as Idia shrieked, throwing his phone out of his hands as he quickly went to catch it and put it down, “Sorry. You know you can’t stay in here forever.” Ortho told his brother as he went over and sat next to Idia. “Why don’t you just talk to them? Then I’m sure everything will be all better!” Ortho continued to talk, his usual cheery self with a smile.

Idia just groaned before he collapsed onto his bed and grabbed his pillow and shoved it into his face. “No. They hate me.” His words were muffled through his pillow. He groaned into the pillow, mad at himself for everything he’s done.

Ortho looked at Idia. He gave Idia the most ‘Are you serious right now?’ look he’s ever given. But it went away as Ortho pulled the pillow out of Idia’s face to see the pouting Housewarden. His face was red, not from embarrassment but from crying. His eyes were bloodshot, and he just looked like a mess. “They don’t hate you, big brother!” Ortho told Idia as he smiled and laid down so that he was lying next to his brother. “I actually just talked to the prefect and they said-“

“WHAT?!” Idia shot up, freaking out. He looked at Ortho, “No, no! Don’t tell me what they said! It’s probably not anything good anyways!” Idia was pacing around his room. What did Ortho tell them? It wasn’t anything bad. Ortho would never do that.

Ortho sighed, as he also got up before looking at Idia “It wasn’t anything bad, but alright. I won’t tell you if that’s what you wish,” Ortho spoke with a smile as he began to leave the room to go and do some of his work, leaving Idia to stay freaking out. Seeing the state Idia was in upset Ortho. He couldn’t stand to watch his brother act like this. Yeah, he’s always been a shut-in, but what happened with the prefect earlier made Idia shut himself out. He started to actually go to class in person because it meant he’d get to see the prefect. Now he uses his tablet again and only leaves his room for club meetings. And that’s with the hope you won’t show up.

While Idia was freaking out, so were you. Just not in the same way. You were freaking out from the amount of questions going through your head. ‘why did he kiss me?’ ‘Does he like me?’ ‘What do I do?’ All the questions gave you a headache.

Even after your conversation with Ortho, which you quite enjoyed. Ortho’s always been sweet to you. He also showed you a card trick he had learned from Ace, another friend of yours. While you two talked Ortho mentioned that Idia’s been a wreck and suggested that you go talk to him. And when you asked why Idia’s been acting so weird lately, Ortho gave you that same smile as he did last time and said it was Idia who had to tell you. Sometimes it annoyed you how loyal Ortho was to his brother. But it was also sweet. Another part of your guy's conversation stood out to you. When Ortho said the same thing Azul had told you just a few weeks ago when you first confronted Idia. “If someone drops your friendship over something so small, they were never your friend.”

You didn’t know what it was, but when Ortho said it to you it actually clicked. Maybe because when Azul did you were still fuming anger, who knows? But they were right. He was never your friend, Wilhelm. And you just finally realized it. Yeah, sure Idia was an asshole but he made you realize that you were better than Wilhelm. Plus, once you found out about his plans to ask you out, you just got even angrier at him. He was only friends with you because he was into you, and then when he finds something out about you he all of a sudden is disgusted? Weirdo.

Ugh. Of course, you began to think about Idia again. Amid your thoughts of your now ex-friend Wilhelm, Idia popped up. He’s been doing that. Ever since that kiss Idia’s been on your mind, even when you tried to think of something else it always came back to Idia. Dammit. Not only is your brain going a mile a minute with the hundreds of questions you had, but now Idia was all you could think about! That game-obsessed asshole!

You groaned, having enough. Ortho was right. You needed to hear it from Idia. Not yet though. You had... a.. very important meeting. Yup, you promised Deuce you’d watch his track practice in 2 hours. So you had to head over now to get a good seat. Yeah, yup.

After the practice was over you gave your friends Deuce and Jack a hug, congratulating them on how good they were, despite how sweaty the two were. The three of you guys talked until you all walked your separate ways. You walked by the door where the board games club was meeting. You were tempted to walk in and talk to Idia, all of your conversations with your friends' advice popping into your head, but if you did walk in you know Idia would just run off. So you’d have to settle for the next best thing.

“When’s the next club meeting?” You asked Azul, that night. You two were in the VIP room in the Mostro Lounge. You looked at the Octavinelle housewarden, who had the cockiest smirk on his face. You wanted to slap it off.

Azul kept his smirk as he looked at a paper in front of him. “I could tell you, for a..” He was interrupted by you letting out a loud groan. “I can go ask someone else, Azul.” You interrupted his offer. “Fine, fine. It’s Thursday.” Alright, that’s two days away, “And I can make it so it’s just you and Idia… alone,” Azul trailed off with an almost suggestive tone. You rolled your eyes and told him that you weren’t signing anything. Azul put his hands up in defense, “Not looking for anything. It’s not as fun to win anymore with the way Idia’s been,” he explained. “So even without a deal, I’ll get something out of it in the end.”

You rolled your eyes, playfully though. For the most part. You and Azul began to plan how you’d get Idia alone during the meeting so you two could talk. And instead of a contract, Azul held out his hand to seal the deal. You took it and shook his hand, your plan officially in play.

On Thursday Idia reluctantly walked to his club meeting. He tried to stay as close to the wall as he could so no one would see him. Once he got to the room Idia snuck into the room to see it was dark. He went to turn on the light “Azu- AH!” He jumped when he saw the other guy right in front of his face.

“Hey, Idia, I’ll be right back. See you in a few minutes, something came up at the lounge,” Azul explained as he slid by Idia and closed the door. Using a spell he learned, Azul switched the lock up and closed it, locking Idia inside the room. “I’ll come back later then-?” He tried to open the door and realized it was locked. “What?! Azul!” Idia shouted as Azul pointed past Idia, and into the room

The blue-haired boy reluctantly turned around, almost scared of what he’d see. But once he saw you, standing there, setting up a chess board Idia let out a shriek and tried to open the door, making Azul laugh as he walked away. “C-come back here!” Idia shouted before he turned back to you. “W-w-hat a-are you doing here?” He stuttered.

You gave him a shrug as you finished setting up the board. “You were ignoring me.” You stated as you began to walk closer to Idia, and in return the boy pressed himself against the door, keeping up with the fruitless attempts to open it and run. Once you got to him, you tilted your head up so you could look Idia in the eyes.

The guy who towered over you began to blush, his face turning red and his hair pink. “W-why are you do-doing this to me?” Idia cried out. He looked like he just wanted to escape this. Escape and go hide in his room, away from everything.

You began to glare at him as you crossed your arms. “What do you mean, why am I doing this to you? I could ask you the same thing! You steal my journal, tell someone what’s in it, and whenever I ask why you did it you just run away! Oh, and then one day you just kiss me instead of saying anything! Then you run off!” You were yelling now. You couldn’t believe him. He’s been messing with you and now he turns it to himself as the victim?!

Tears pricked at Idia’s eyes. He was right, you hated him. And he deserved it. “I-I’m sorry,” he cried out. “I didn’t mean to!” Idia tried to push past you and to the other side of the room so he could hide at the desk. But much to his demise you followed him.

“Great Seven, Idia! What is so hard about admitting why you did-“

“I LOVE YOU!” Idia shouted. He was hidden at the desk, curled in a fetal position. He left you speechless. Again. “I love you,” he repeated, more quietly this time. “Is that what you wanted?!”

“You..?” You were stunned. You began to figure Idia had some sort of feelings for you. But you surely didn’t know he loved you. Maybe a small crush but surely not love. You walked closer to the boy who was cowering at the desk. “I can’t believe it.” You said softly as you sat next to him, which only made Idia scoot as far away as he could.

The Shroud boy took a deep breath. He wasn’t getting out of this now. So he might as well just tell the whole story. “Iloveyousomuchandwhenisawyouwithwilhelmigotjealousandjustwantedhimtoleaveyoualonesoitookyourjournalandtoldhimyoustillwatchcartoonsnotthattheresanythingwrongwiththatidoittosometimesandhewasalsoreallyrudesayingyouwereobliviousbutiguessthatiskindoftrueandthenwhenyoufoundoutiwassoashamedthatiwantedtojustdissapearandafterikissedyouigotsoembarsssedandranawayscarediruinedeverythingmorethanialreadydid” Idia rambled so quickly you couldn’t understand what he said. After he finished his rambling he took a deep breath before he wiped away a tear and took another breath. “I love you. I got jealous and just wanted him away from you. I’m sorry, I know I shouldn’t have done that, but I didn’t know what else to do,” Idia explained, this time much slower.

It took you a minute to process everything. You stared at the ground for a minute before looking back at Idia. He looked ashamed and depressed. It hurt you. “I wasn’t even into him, Idia,” you told him. “Even if he confessed to me I wouldn’t have accepted,” you continued to talk as you fiddled with your uniform jacket.

That perked Idia’s attention. If you didn’t like that guy, who did you like? If you liked anyone at all for that matter. “Oh. I’m sorry," he muttered. “Who uhh do you like? That if you like anyone at all, I’m not saying you have to like someone but if you do.. who is it?” Idia quietly asked you, with a nervous tone. He really wanted you to say him. So so badly. Idia knew you wouldn’t. Who would? Who could ever like him? But that didn’t stop his wishes.

You stared off into the classroom. All the board games in a pile, and the chess set untouched after you finished it. “I don’t know.” That was all you could say. It was the truth. You didn’t think you liked anyone, but the way Idia kissed you. The way it felt. The way he occupied your thoughts every waking and sleeping moment after that kiss. In fact, now just the thought of the kiss brought a heat to your cheeks. “I wasn’t into anyone…” Did you hear that? Idia’s heart just broke. “But after you kissed me, all I could think about was you. How your lips felt, what you were doing, how you look. Just you.” Aaand his heart is healed.

Idia was quiet for a moment after you finished talking. Not entirely sure what to say. “Do you… like me?” he asked. What a dumb question. You just said you didn’t like anyone. Yet he still had to ask. Please excuse him while he bashed his head on the wall.

Your face heated up more. “I don’t know.” That’s not a no! Idia scooted closer to you and looked at you as you looked at him. You moved a little closer to Idia, and he didn’t move away. “I don’t know.” You repeated as you looked at his lips. Wanting to feel them again. “I don’t…” And you kissed him. At first, Idia’s eyes widened in shock, but a second later he closed them and cupped your face in his hands. You wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him closer.

After what felt like an eternity you backed away, Idia on the other hand, leaned forward, not wanting to stop the kiss. “I do.” You said as you were gasping for breath after that kiss.

Idia turned red. You do?! You actually do!? You aren’t playing with him? “I- uh uh I erm” He was stuttering, trying to find words as he kissed you. And again. planting small kisses on your lips over and over again.

You scooted away from him. If you didn’t, then he’d never stop kissing you. Never. “I think I do anyways.” You quietly said as you moved your arms from around his neck and cupped his face as he did yours.

“Whaat?! You can’t just say that!” Idia pouted. “You can’t just say you like me and then say you don’t knowwww..” He was dragging on the words as you smiled. “Hey, stop smiling!” Idia said as he leaned forward and tickled your sides, making you burst out in laughter.

“Okay! Okay! I can’t breathe!” You couldn’t stop your laughter. “I- Ahahah! Stop it!” You shouted as Idia finally stopped. While you were still catching your breath, Idia was staring at you with nothing but love in his eyes and the sweetest smile on his lips.

“Will you me by-! No, wait. Will you be my partner?” Idia finally asked, getting the words right. They sounded desperate almost. A small nod from you was all it took for the Housewarden to trample you in a giant hug. “Yes!” He cheered.

👑 Looking at your boyfriend over your shoulder, your eyes slightly widened at the sight of him, his face was contorting slightly as if he was going to cry but he was being forced to hold it in by fear

👑 Grabbing his face, you began to try waking him up. From shaking him to, somewhat, messing with his already messy hair, nothing was working, until you grabbed a small glass of water from your bedside table and splashed his face, making his eyes jerk open with shock

" Vil?! Hey, are you alright? You were jerking so much in your sleep and you looked like you were about to cry. I tried waking you up by shaking you but it wouldn't work- " " You're okay... " " What? " " Oh, thank the Great Seven that you're okay! "

👑 Furrowing your eyebrows in confusion, Vil wrapped his arms tightly around you, tighter than he ever has before, making you let out a small gush of air from the pressure

🎮 Unlike pretty much the rest of the boys, Idia doesn't fully hate his overblot. After all, he did gain his brother again, albeit a robotic version, but still

🎮 Though, every time he looks at Ortho, he remembers his overblot and the incident that happened when they were very young. And that makes him rethink everything. Also, don't get me started on when he looks at you

🎮 While he does think about how amazing and good-looking you are, he also thinks about the incident and how he sent a large shock at you and caused you to go into the infirmary for nearly an entirety of four weeks. And if scares him that he had done that to the only person who was there with him since the beginning, no death of anything occurring

🎮 Because of that event and how he had nearly harmed you to the point of being in a coma, Idia was very distant, holding to himself far worse than he ever did before. But, somehow despite these actions, you had accepted him and begun a relationship

🎮 For Idia, your relationship was built upon trust, loyalty, and honesty. Nothing else truly mattered to the male if he knew you would always be there and tell him the truth without him questioning it

🎮 One sign of his trust was allowing you to sleep in the same bed as him. And, in one of the first few times of this happened, disaster struck in the form of a nightmare

🎮 Hugging you tighter from behind as his eyes dodged in every direction underneath his closer eyelids, you awoke to his whimpers and very faint calls of your name and a mixture of pleases and no's

🎮 You had heard his eventual scream of a no and looked over at him in shock, he had never awoke so abruptly and harshly, even when he had nightmares of Ortho's death all those years ago, and that was scaring you enough, what had scared him so badly?

🎮 Opening your arms as he lunged in and hugged you tighter as if you were about to disappear, you began to hush him and hum a lullaby that his younger brother said he used to sing to him all the time when he had bad dreams growing up

Notes: This is based on a dream I had about Idia a last night. Pt 2

Characters: Idia Shroud ft. Ortho Shroud and Azul Ashengrotto

Summary: Idia gets jealous and does a big little mess up

Warnings: None. Idia being jealous, Idia’s a little ooc (he actually talks to someone), Not entirely proofread, but I tried.

Word Count: 2366 dam boy really brought it out of me. I wrote it all in like two hours too.

Gn!Reader

You were walking with one of your friends down the school hall, laughing and talking about something that had happened. Unbeknownst to you, your friend Idia was on the other side of the hallway. Retreating back to his room after his club meeting with the board game club. He saw you and your friend laughing. He saw how happy your friend made you. And it stirred something up in Idia.

You didn’t see Idia as he walked past, as you were pretty invested in your conversation. What you also didn’t notice was Idia silently and swiftly grabbing your notebook, which sat on top of the small pile of things you were carrying.

Idia didn’t know what came over him. He wasn’t like this. He would never steal someone's belongings, especially his only friends. But seeing you with that other guy irked something inside Idia. He couldn’t help it. Idia wanted him away from you.

“Big brother-!” Ortho’s cheerful voice came from across the room. Idia fumbled with your journal before hiding it under his sheets, and he looked at Ortho, wondering what his beloved brother wanted. “Yes, Ortho?” Idia asked the young boy and a small smile appeared on his face.

Ortho smiled as he sat on Idia’s bed. “I learned this new trick from a fellow first year in Heartslabyul, Ace Trappola. Look, big brother!” Ortho cheered as he did a card flourish perfectly. It was a more simple one, but for just learning it, Ortho did a great job. It warmed Idia’s heart to see his brother having so much fun. “That’s amazing, Ortho,” Idua said before the younger boy smiled at him and left, saying he had to go and meet with another friend of his. Idia was glad Ortho wasn’t anything like him and actually had friends. While Idia only had enough to count on one hand. Barely that even. And it was probably about to be one less when the prefect realized he was the one who took their journal.

Speaking of said journal, Idia grabbed it from under his covers once his brother left. If Ortho knew what Idia was doing he’d be disappointed, so he did it behind his younger brother's back. Not that it changed much, but still.

Idia began flipping through the pages of your journal, trying to find something, anything. As long as it got your friend to get away, that’s all that mattered. Idia flipped to one interesting page in particular. The Ignihyde housewarden smiled when he read the words. That’ll work.

The next day Idia hunted down your friend. He was only going to ask a few questions. Besides, the less he had to talk the better, as long as this person left you alone.

Once Idia got sight of him, he began questioning if this was worth it. He’d have to talk to someone. “A-are you the prefect's friend?” Idia asked, his regret already coming through. Now he just wanted to crawl into a hole and never leave, but he just had to say something.

“Yeah, they’re one of my best friends. Do you know them?” The guy, who introduced himself as Wilhelm told Idia, with a smile, as he thought about you. “Actually.. can I tell you something?” He whispered as Idia nodded, wanting to know what Wilhelm had to say. “I really like them. I mean, who wouldn’t? So I’m just trying to shoot my shot. I mean they’re kind of oblivious, but I think if I can get the point across they’d accept my confession,” Wilhelm explained to Idia.

The way he sounded was like you were some dumb kid who couldn’t read a room. How could someone act like that?! ‘Oblivious’ ‘Get the point across?’ How the other boy explained it irked Idia. You weren’t some dumb kid who couldn’t tell what was going on around you. You were special, just like that super rare UR+ that always took forever to roll. And this guy just wanted to act like you’re oblivious. I mean, maybe you are, but that’s not the point. It was the way he said it. The way he made it seem like you were a child who couldn’t tell of his advancements. How dare he?! You don’t deserve someone like that. Now, Idia didn’t feel as bad about what he was about to do.

“W-well I uh- heard something about them, don’t tell them I said this but..” Idia whispered your secret into your friend's ear as he looked back in shock. He had a look of ‘Are you serious’ as Idia nodded.

Wilhelm looked shocked. “They do that?” Idia nodded. “Why? They aren’t a child anymore..” Wilhelm muttered. It wasn’t even a bad secret. So seeing Wilhelms's reaction, he obviously didn’t deserve you in the first place.

Later that day at lunch you went to sit next to your friend Wilhelm but he looked at you with a look of almost disgust. “Go away, you little kid,” He spat at you. You leaned back in shock. What? Just yesterday you two were laughing and talking about yourselves, and now he was calling you a little and to go away?

“I- Wille are you alright?” You asked, your voice soft, and hurt. He was your friend, or so you thought. You sat your tray down on the table but he pushed it away, and you had to catch it from falling. “What is your problem?”

Wilhelm scoffed at you, “What’s my problem? Ok, first off, don’t call me Wille. And second, how come you still watch children’s cartoons? You aren’t a child. grow up.”

You looked at him in shock. That’s what this was about? You watching… cartoons? “How did you find out..?” You asked him, hesitantly, “Also what’s so bad about cartoons?”

The boy rolled his eyes at you, “The problem is that you’re like seventeen and you still watch shows for kids. It’s weird. Just like your blue-haired friend that told me.”

Blue… hair.. Idia! You rolled your eyes at Wilhelm before walking off. Determined to find Idia.

The thought of your lost journal filled your mind as you walked to the board game club. It had a mention of your cartoons in it. So help you if it was Idia. You threw the door open and stormed in. The pieces on the game Azul and Idia we’re currently playing fell to the floor. “Idia Shroud!” You yelled as you marched over to the table he and Azul were at. The boy let out a small yelp as he jumped away from you, and Azul’s eyes widened, “Explain.” You commanded the blue-haired boy who was shrinking away into his chair.

“H-here you go,” Idia said as he brought your journal towards as you snatched it away from him. Let's just say if looks could kill, he’d be a dead man now. “I- uh..” Idia stuttered out, not knowing what to say.

Azul, who was across from the two, was enjoying this. He gave himself some monopoly money from the bank while Idia was busy being glared at and yelled at by you. Of course, Azul was already winning by a long shot, but extra money never hurt anyone. “Well.. seeing as you two are occupied, I will be taking my leave,” the Octopus said as if he didn’t just take 2,000 dollars for himself in monopoly money.

“Sit down, Ashengrotto!” You paused your yelling at Idia and demanded the Octavinelle housewarden to sit, which he did with a mutter saying yes. You turned your attention back to Idia. “Why did you do that?! He was my friend, ya know?” You shouted at Idia, but he just sat there quietly. “Answer me!”

Idia looked to Azul for help, hoping he’d intervene, but Azul was now all of a sudden occupied re-sorting the money around. “I trusted you, Idia! You were my friend. And you steal my journal and go ruining my friendships?!” You continued your shouting.

He was speechless. Idia didn’t know what to say. He was embarrassed. That was all. Idia knew he shouldn’t have done anything. The housewarden got up from his chair and ran out of the room from embarrassment. Running away, back to his dorm, his fortress. “..You know, prefect, if someone drops your friendship for a small secret.. were they really your friend? I mean, if he meant so much to you, for a price I could make him your friend again..” Azul led on, a smirk forming. You rolled your eyes and told Azul to shut it before leaving.

Back at Ignihyde, Idia was burying himself in his pillow. Half hoping to suffocate himself. “Big brother, what happened?” Ortho asked, going to comfort Idia, although, underneath his concerned tone, Ortho sounded like he’d be ready to fight someone if they messed with Idia.

“I messed everything up. I ruined everything. I just wanted him away from the prefect and now they’re mad at me.” Idia half explained, not fully saying what happened. But how he ruined your friendship. The best part about him was his friendship with you, and his jealousy ruined it.

Ortho listened to his brother's brief explanation, but telling Ortho's confused face it was obvious that Idia would have to explain everything. And he knew once it came out, it would sound even more stupid.

After the full explanation, Ortho gave Idia the most disappointed look in the world. He couldn’t hide it. “You’re right. It does sound pretty dumb out loud big brother,” Ortho put it bluntly. He wasn’t one to scold Idia, but dang. That boy messed up. The Housewarned groaned and muttered an ‘I know.’ He buried his face back into his pillow “I’m never leaving my room again.”

Or so he says.

When you show up the next day, pounding on his door, Idia reluctantly opens it, and when he sees you he yelps and goes to shut the door, but you kept it propped open with your foot “You. Asshole. Why did you do that?” You glared at Idia. Why did you have to be so stubborn? The housewarden groaned and tried shutting the door but you wouldn’t budge. Alright then. You, unfortunately, left him no choice. Idia left the room and walked off. Dammit. He really just did the unthinkable. He left his room.

That’s basically how it was for you and Idia for the next few days. You approach him, call him a rude name, and then demand he explains himself to you as to why he did what he did. It became a routine Idia hated. He is halfway enjoying the day, you interrogate him, and he walks off.

And sure, Idia loved seeing you. But he didn’t know how to explain himself. What was he supposed to say? “Oh, I love you so much and got jealous-“ Uh… NO. That’d only make you even madder at him.

Another week passed when you got tired of this and went to Ortho. I mean, hey, Ortho loved you, and you loved him. He was almost like a brother to you. But alas, Ortho’s loyal to Idia and said he wouldn’t tell you since it was Idia’s business. But what Ortho did say was that Idia always stalls to leave his history class and you could find him there. By himself. “Perfect, you’re the best, Ortho!” You smiled as you hugged the young boy and ran off. After all, the next class would be ending soon.

Once you got there, you waited a moment after the bell rang before heading into the almost empty history class. Almost as in Idia was the only other person. Besides now you. You smiled, reminding yourself to give Ortho something as thanks. When Idia looked up and saw you he let out a small noise of surprise and tried to leave, but you pinned him against the wall, giving him nowhere to go. “I just want to know why you did that! Honestly, Idia, you ruin one of my friendships an-“

Your words were cut off by Idia cupping your cheeks with his hands. He slammed his lips against yours in a passionate kiss that left you wide-eyed and speechless. Before you could fully process what happened, he broke away from the kiss, going wide-eyed himself, realizing what he just did. With everything still going through your brain, Idia opened the previously shut door and ran off, the tips of his hair turning a light shade of pink as he escaped from the room, still not believing he just did that. Well, you wanted an answer, and you got it. Just not in the way you expected. You stood there in the empty room for another minute, replaying the moment of Idia kissing you over and over again. At least until Trein kicked you out and told you to go to your next class. You nodded, “Yes, sir,” you told the teacher as you finally moved your legs and walked away.

The housewarden was red, and his hair fully pink, all the way back to his dorm room as he launched himself on the bed. Shoving his face into his pillow once more. “Big brother, what happened?” Ortho asked as he rushed into the main room from where he was, seeing Idia's face plant himself into a pillow.

“I kissed them,” Idia mumbled through the pillow. He was ashamed of himself. Embarrassed to oblivion. How could he do that?! You were already mad at him. There was no way you weren’t furious now.

Ortho, on the other hand, didn’t take it as a bad thing. In fact, he was overjoyed, “That’s great big brother! Are you two dating now?” The young boy asked cheerfully, only making Idia more embarrassed.

That single sentence, no, that word. ‘Dating.’ As if Idia could be any redder in his face, well, he was. “N-NO!” He stuttered, freaking out. I mean- obviously, he wanted to date you. Would someone just passionately kiss their good ol’ buddy? Idia was in love with you. He wanted you to be his partner and him your boyfriend. He wanted you to be his.

…But he ruined it all. Over something so small and stupid too.

Idea time:

Bro, I get sick of seeing everyone making reader in a twst fic Yuu. I get it Grim is cute and you play Yuu in the game. However, there are three other dorms without a first year to their motley crew. I'd mainly love to write a reader that's a first year in Scarabia or Octanivelle but Ignihyde works too.

Also, what would be cool is reader from another world, but they died in the original world and got reincarnated with powers (and is even another species). They only remember that they died when they make eye contact with Yuuken, and kinda have an identity crisis.

Also, female readers are great and all but I'm nonbinary and appreciate a good gender-neutral fic. I could write male but that's a hard thing to do since I'm AFAB. I'd be willing to compromise and make a trans masc reader. I'll also do female reader and male reader. However, I'd rather do a nonbinary reader that is feminine or masculine (androgynous nonbinary gets boring too, like men and women can be androgynous looking and nonbinary people can be feminine or masculine presenting, not fitting the gender binary is the whole fucking point)

These ideas would probably be multi part fics and a lot of this is rambling, but I think Twisted Wonderland is so unique there's a billion possibilities. For example, female students aren't allowed but you're the constant companion of Idia and the Shroud family paid to have you there too (Reader would be based off of Megara and also Crowley is a greedy bastard). Or Reader is a rambunctious parrot beastman who joins Scarabia and bonds hard with Jamil (could really feed Jamil's jealousy complex to see you interacting with others (especially Kalim)). Or reader could be a smaller shark who's a kindhearted member of Octanivelle (contrast to the terrors that are the Leech Twins and the slime ball that's Azul).

Just throwing some ideas around.

Also, I'd eat my foot to write some genderbent twisted, as I can see how some individuals would change slightly personality wise (Riddle would be harsher being the gender of the Queen of Hearts, Epel's a tomboy or trans masc, Leona is a boss bitch. Malleus being even taller and scarier (female lizards are often bigger than males), MILF Lillia )
