- started enjoying lofi music ever since levi introduced him to it.

- out of all the brothers, satan feels the most comfortable crying in front of mammon the most. (can i get some big brother mammon appreciation out here? 😔)

- he's the type to practice his lines in front of the mirror before asking you out on the date! he just wants everything to be perfect for you and yes sometimes he messes up but it's your fault for being too pretty

I've been thinking, about how you would make sea creature kazumaji... do you already have headcannons for that or is it something more new?

a lil mix of both 🤔 I originally drew eeljima for MerMay and was gonna leave it at that but I got really attached to the idea of kiryu and his dumb fish boyfriend so I rolled with it kdlsjfddsf. I got a few ideas tho 👀

majima's an eel - nothing specific but I leaned to electric since the rpg games give him electricity as an element. also, knifefish (what a coincidentally convenient name 👀) have spots that remind me of his snake's spots so that fit well with his overall theme plus they're related to eels so even better >:D saejima's also a fishdude, a grouper specifically because they're huge and chonky but also gentle uwu

kiryu's a silly lil fisherman guy, one of them commercial types that goes out on a boat to get big hauls. nishiki's there too being the saddest wettest little beast. other characters make up part of the crew in similar ways the canon families are set up. so like kazama and kashiwagi for example are captains of the crew

I have thought about if they were fish too if I wanted to do a branching AU of this and kiryu could maybe be a thresher shark - because they got that big slappy tail but also their huge beautiful eyes™. OR a betta fish because I think the colors would really compliment his heat colors. nishiki can be a koi because of course

kiryu and nishiki live in a lil shack on the shore. nishiki hates it but kiryu likes the simplicity and being close to work. nishiki would move closer to the city but frankly all the haircare product he buys is so obscene that he can't afford a place on his own ✌

majima and saejima (+ yasuko) live in some nearby kelp forests/coral reefs. merfolk tend to stay away from humans and live further out in the ocean, deeper underwater but these three take advantage of all commercial fishing going on to get some easy food. but being so close to fishing trawlers, this leads to majima getting caught in a discarded net, being trapped and beached where kiryu finds him 👀

merfolk can breath air and go on land but it is as awkward as you can imagine. when majima hangs out with kiryu, kiryu drags him up the beach to enough dry land where the tide isn't a problem. merfolk do have to be moisturized often so majima's either doused with a bucket of water or gets a big ass lathering of lotion. whether or not that'd actually be realistic doesn't matter to me I just think it'd be funny for nishiki to be very suspect of the comical amount of lotion kiryu suddenly starts buying

majima's fav thing to do with kiryu is have him fry up some fish since he's never had cooked food before and thinks it's the bee's knees. kiryu will often go into town to buy all sorts of things for majima to try or majima will catch some wack fish from who knows where for kiryu to fry up. they pick secluded beaches as not to be disturbed but kiryu is ready to fling majima into the ocean at a moment's notice just in case

majima has a second set of jaws normally not visible unless he's snacking on a fish. sometimes he pops em out for a smooch and kiryu is wary but willing to try anything 😤 nishiki is often very worried about the numerous weird bite marks kiryu comes home with but kiryu chalks it up to clumsily falling face first into some coral. you can tell by now I'm very into the trope of person dating a cretur is very bad at keeping it a secret dsklgjk

majima tends to have electrical flare ups when he's feeling emotional so kiryu ends up getting zapped a lot. it's not enough to be dangerous but kiryu has since avoided touching light switches and makes nishiki use them first

rarely kiryu will take majima out on the town in a wheelbarrow covered in a blanket and everyone's like *squint* but eventually gets used to his funny lil friend who seems fascinated by literally everything

there's defo some tigerfish action at a later point once nishiki eventually decides to follow kiryu to one of his little secret beachside escapades to not only find out kiryu's being a weirdo as usual but now with a weirdo fishguy. on the other side, saejima is eventually convinced that there is not a bunch of people on the shore waiting with harpoons and nets and joins majima for one of kiryu's fish fries and finds out hey maybe humans ain't so bad if they can put up with majima for more than five minutes

he does so and you close your eyes, feeling kinda giddy all of a sudden

but you can still feel his downturned peepers staring a hole into you, curious to see every facial movement and reaction you may have👁️👁️

he must be really excited then!! (even if you feel extremely unsettled rn)

you slowly bite down on the stick, getting nervous. you can definitely hear him crunching on it too...

but then you hear a *snap* and the pocky falls out of your mouth... what just happened?

"I bit into it a bit too hard..." You open your eyes to see Floyd pouting like a toddler who was told he can't have candy

"Wait- moon lily, just wait-"

But you don't wait. The blood rushing through your ears blocks out all sound. You blindly walk away, your feet taking you anywhere from here- from Boothill.

You don't even hear Boothill's now weak voice, asking if you'll at least come home tonight.

"It was all to make you stronger! Tougher! And you did it, you're here now, aren't ya?"

"How could you do that to a child?! I needed you, and you weren't there!"

"It made you a fighter! We're a family of fighters!"

"Well, I didn't want a fighter, I wanted a father!"

You sigh, leaning heavily on the guardrails. The Xianzhou Luofu is absolutely stunning, especially at night with the glowing lights from the soaring starskiffs, but the fog in your mind and heart make it difficult to fully appreciate the scenery.

Ever since you saw Boothill face off against the young boy from Belobog, all you could see was red- and though you know why, it frustrates you to think that the past still holds such a strong effect on you to even start resenting your own lover.

You don't want to hate your past; your parents did what they did for a reason, even if it hurt you. And it led you to finding better, more beautiful things in the horizon- growing beautiful flowers, making wonderful friends... and meeting Boothill, your one and only.

Yet in that one moment, you saw yourself in that boy- Luka.

Echoes of your past, your desperate attempts to prove your strength, to prove that you were worthy of your parents' love, that you were worthy of this thing they called life, all came crumbling down, suffocating you once more.

With yet another sigh, you bury your head in your hands. "Why is living so hard?" you grumble to yourself.

And to make it worse, your stomach starts growling- and with the witching hour rapidly approaching, your options for dinner are rapidly closing. You know there's some midnight spots open in Aurum Alley, but your window to getting there in time is immensely short.

You rub your rumbling stomach sadly. You'll have to sneak back on the ship and find something to eat, and hope and pray that Boothill's occupied with something else-

"Ya didn't eat, did ya?"

You shriek, nearly jumping out of your skin. When you manage to turn around, Boothill stands in front of you, rubbing one of his ears while his other hand holds a takeout container.

"Jeez, woman, you nearly blew out a fuse! Anyway, I gotcha some food; they only had those plain chili oil noodles, but it's pipin' hot, so get 'em down while it's fresh."

He opens the to-go box and hands it to you, but you don't take it just yet. "How'd you find me here?"

"I only started lookin' once midnight came 'round and you didn't come back to the ship." He lifts an eyebrow at you, and you decide your feet have become magically interesting to look at. "Anyway, quit your yappin' and eat up. Fight or no fight, you ain't goin' hungry on my watch."

He offers you the box once again, and this time, you take it and gratefully shove noodles in your mouth. It's silent as you eat, Boothill refusing to say another word, instead focusing on making sure you ate every bite.

Once the noodles are gone, you put aside the now-empty box and pat your satisfied stomach. But now the two of you stand near the railing in awkward silence, Boothill more fixated on watching starskiffs delivering last-minute passengers soar through the air.

You finally clear your throat and say, "Look, about what happened-"

He lifts up a hand to stop you, then points up in the sky. "See that? That's Polaris."

You tilt your head, confused at the sudden change in topic. But you indulge him and look up in the Xianzhou's artificial night sky to see it ablaze with stars. "How can you tell? There's so many. Also, they're all fake here."

"Don't matter; it's still based on the real thing. See the Big Dipper?" He moves behind you, gently taking your hand to map out the pattern. "If you look down the last two stars that make that weird little cup, it'll lead you to Polaris. Back home, we always used it to find our way back." Slowly, gently, he nuzzles into your neck. "I'm sorry, for what I said back there. I know better than anyone else that you're the toughest fighter around. And I dunno what's goin' on in that head of yours, but ya gotta know that no matter what, nothing you do could ever take me away from ya- I'll always find my way home. So just... know that you can do the same, yeah? No matter what, you can always come find me, and I'll be right here waitin'."

Shame rises within you, and you stare out into the false sky so you have a better chance of hiding your tears. "...I'm sorry too. For running away. For being so mad. I just..."

Boothill hums. "Aw, sugar- you don't need to apologize or nothin'. I ain't got much in my head, but I know when somethin' weird's goin' on in yours. You don't gotta explain anything, just... I'm always here, alright?"

You nod with a sniffle. "...Yeah. I know. My sweet, capable cowboy." You allow yourself to fall into his waiting arms and press a kiss on his cheek, your heart softening when he melts at your touch.

And you feel a bit lighter as you tell him a bit about your past, your family, your reasons for your anger. And when he nuzzles into you and carries you back to the ship, murmuring soft apologies and words of comfort, you feel better already.

...And when you both find Argenti standing by your ship, you can't help but laugh hysterically at the nonstop lecture the Knight of Beauty gives to Boothill, who keeps giving you desperate looks for help.

You think you'll be a little petty and let him endure it. Just for a bit.

people are in love with his looks, his music, his bad boy persona... wearing cutoff shirts and the like (SUN'S OUT GUN'S OUT ! 😤). as to which genre, that's up to you guys to decide! but his albums are selling like crazy and his songs are always up top on the charts, never second place. until...

oh ilnam scouted for new talents but to no avail. there is money to be made here! luckily for him, ilnam struck gold when he felt hungry and wanted some comfort food like tteokbokki. because then he saw the most prettiest and beautiful young man at a stall, helping his friend's mom with the orders. the young man is a bit clumsy (he almost dropped ilnam's soju bottle on the ground). his name is seong gihun. a little reserved, sweet eyes, beautiful lithe build. oh, what an angel. a smile that is worth more than diamonds and gold in the earth. KA-CHING! that's the sound of money pouring in!ilnam asked gihun if he can sing. "ah, well, i love going out for karaoke but i wouldn't say i'm excellent at it..." but that's not a problem, nothing a couple of vocal lessons that can't fix!

the next day gihun found himself in the studio along with ilnam and other important figures to brainstorm how to mold him into a superstar. everyone is complimenting his physique and gorgeous face, making gihun blush and play with the hem of shirt. one thing lead to another, and looks like the industry has another rising starlet!

i really love the sound of 90's R&B, so i think i'll choose this genre for gihun (づ˶•༝•˶)づ♡ what started out as playful, captivating, funky songs developed into very foxy, sultry, and smooth. gihun evolved as an artist and got out of his shell, becoming more sure of himself, going with concepts that he likes and what he feels like fits the most. and that is by being an artist portraying himself as both innocent little kitty and a sexy siren. he experiments with outfit too! does not matter if it's a skirt or jeans, clothes are clothes and he is here to look CUN-TY! women, men, no matter who - everyone wants gihun (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*

i think it would be funny if inho never got to meet gihun immediately because he himself is busy recording, touring, practicing choreo, attending award shows, etc. but he does notice there is competition around. on the top 10 charts for songs or album sales they are so close to each other. then he sees gihun on a cover of playboy ("i know he's not a girl, but he's pretty like the rest of 'em! believe me, those magazines will be flying off the shelves!" said gihun's manager. and she was RIGHT). inho's brain short circuits but he quickly snaps out of it has to focus on performing live on a late night show. fuck, gihun was attractive. beautiful curves and features. he needs to know more about him. he needs to have him.

inho and gihun eventually meet at a staff party, celebrating record-breaking profits. inho finds out that gihun might be older and slightly taller than, but he can wrap his strong arms around gihun's tiny waist and lift him up easily. they get to know each other very well, and ilnam sees the chemistry between both singers. he gets this brilliant idea - those two should tour together.

and it's a big success, there is an entire crowd of screaming fans waiting for them to perform solo and together. i'd imagine inho and gihun spending time with each other during the tour would make them fall head over heels in love. not just as artists, but for who they are (,,♡ᵕ♡,,) as people, as one nerdy guy interested in crime/detective books and a clumsy fellow who took in stray cats until his mother scolded him. amidst the singing and showbusiness, they found each other (╥﹏╥)💜💜💜

believe me when i tell you inhun would fuck like rabbits because they're two young men and gihun's hips are made to be gripped at, but because they're two high demand artists and under strict regiments they're not able to fully savor their relationship... i'd imagine there would be many fanservice moments on stage though. like inho holding gihun's waist or giving him a kiss ln the neck. making the audience go WILD. ilnam isn't opposed to this because money but he did tell them to keep it at that and don't go beyond unless they want his higher ups to chew him out (so PDA is not okay but making gihun pose for playboy? alright *rolls eyes*)

It’s getting colder each day and all you ever wanted now is a hot and spicy soup. You want to sweat after spending a whole day working. Everyone looks gloomy and unmotivated. Perhaps it’s because tomorrow is the weekend. And the weather is not helping at all. 

You're listening to a podcast and it is said that it’s going to snow tonight. It instantly brings a smile to your face. Someone you love adores snow. 

Hours spent at work and your mind is full of that someone that keeps you warm the whole night before. And how he hugs you tightly, very reluctant to let you go to work. He is lucky he gets to work from home today. Knowing that there is someone waiting eagerly for you to come home is lucky too. 

You have about one hour before your office hour ends, and you cannot wait to enjoy the rest of the day outside of this boring chilly concrete. You miss him terribly.

As if being summoned, he called.

“Hello, Jungkook” wincing at your own raspy voice. An effect after  a whole day of not talking to anyone. 

“Ah, my heart. How I miss hearing your beautiful voice.” Jungkook sigh, 

He is always like this, even when your voice is as hoarse as sandpaper, Jungkook still thinks it’s the most beautiful melody he has ever heard, and it always makes you grin like a teenage girl.

“I crave hotpot,” you whine on the phone. Staying true to the teenage girl character. You only act this way for him. Only him. 

“Oh dear, let’s go get some, then. ” Jungkook chuckles. He loves it when you whine to him, requesting something from him, yapping and just being clingy with him. You make him  feel like a real man to you.

“I just don’t want it. I can cook something later,” you reasoned.

“Yes, Jungkook. I am paying this time.” You want to stand on your decision this time around. If it’s up to him, he is willing to go broke for the whole month just to treat you. 

“Baby, we’re gonna end this conversation and I’m buying you food.” Jungkook’s tone turned flat. It is a sign that he is very adamant on this matter.

“You just spent a lot on the car service, I don’t want to burden you.” You finally blurted out the real reason. 

“That’s it? That’s the reason why you don’t want me to pay?” Jungkook was shocked at first and now he just burst out laughing. “Oh baby, have some faith in me, I still have some money. What do you think I am? Even if my wallet becomes dry, I can eat cucumbers for days. I just can't let my baby’s craving go unsatisfied. My mom's gonna kill me if she finds out. ” Jungkook reassured you.

“Not funny,” you mumble. In truth, you’re about to laugh too, not because of what he said, but because Jungkook always finds a way to make you laugh.

“Plus, it’s not good for the baby if the mommy’s craving is not fulfilled. The baby will be born with drools coming out of their little mouth. Why? Because their father is incompetent. So, my dear, let’s have some hotpot, okay?” He adds. 

Inside the warm hotpot restaurant, your heart and belly are filled to the brim. Jungkook is a champion for spicy food, he keeps on requesting chilli oil as dipping sauce. Your heart flutters every time you look at his reddened cheeks. You just hope the baby comes out as an exact copy of Jeon Jungkook.

YES. Honestly, most of my thought about Malleus interacting with baby/child Silver are fluffy, adorable, or just melting. Like. Malleus keeping Lilia a little more late at the castle everyday so young Silver can eat with the Zigvolt family.

Malleus:...hm ? Where is Lilia ?

Guard: Ah ! Lilia-sama just left a few minute ago. He wanted to return home sooner for preparing his son birthday cake.

Malleus: NO !*proceed to teleport himself*

At some point, I think Silver integrity his due to Malleus and the Zigvolt family care and help.

Or like, Malleus finding and reading literally anything he could to learn about human baby. Because he was speechless before the cuteness of Baby Silver squeezing his little hand around his finger.

Malleus:...Lilia. I can't return to the castle. Your son is holding me in hostage. He will wake up if I move.

Lilia: Fufufufu. Don't worry. I sent a bat to Maleficia-sama so she knows you're with me. Keep bonding my boys !

Too much thing about those three dynamic. Even more when we add Sebek. The Diasomnia family just melt my heart. I need sweet and family fluff to forget all the stuff in book 7 :,)

Oooh, adding to the hole Singapore scenario for the TP/Rookie AU; Oscar miraculously survives the the whole media day without loosing his mind (barely, everyone should be very proud of him, he worked really hard) and decides to make use of the pool of the Marina Bay to refresh himself and admire the views of the circuit from above only to find the bane of his existence, the persone who lives rent free, both in his mind and his fantasies, talking over at the edge of the pool with Charles Leclerc and no no no no, absolutely not; Oscar likes the monegasque but he has absolutely no right to be so close to Carlos like that 😤😤

Anon, your mind!! Oh my god!!

First, Oscar would barely survive his TP, looking like his hottest fantasies. But he would. Good job, Osc.

And then the pool. Oscar goes in there to relax and feel better, especially in the hot weather. He spots Carlos first, at a distance. He's been so good all weekend, maybe he can indulge a little. Maybe he can dare get closer (and probably get an erection and embarrass himself, and five some food to that unbearable crush he is trying so hard to hide). He makes up his mind. He's done well this weekend (on track and in the paddock, keeping his distance from Carlos), he can get closer now. And maybe something can happen again? (in my mind, this takes place after they hookup for the first time and then try to ignore what happened because they can't let this happen).

But then! Then!! As he gets closer to Carlos, he sees that Carlos is not alone and there's Charles fucking Leclerc, standing at the edge of the pool right next to Carlos. They are talking, even giggling, brushing shoulders. Oscar would get absolutely livid with jealousy 🤬

As usual with Carlos, Oscar loses all his cool. He splashes in the water, makes himself heard and Charles leaves them alone with a little wave to Oscar (Oscar doesn't reciprocate). Before he leaves, Carlos puts his hand on Charles' forearm, squeezing lightly. Oscar is absolutely furious.

"What were you two talking about?" he asks when Charles has left the pool and Oscar is closer to Carlos.

"Nothing for you to worry about."

Carlos' lips are all red and now Oscar worries it's because Charles and Carlos kissed.

"Do you want him to be your driver? Maybe you're having enough of me already."

"I'm not leaving, Oscar. Not until I see you win a championship."

Oscar still can't look away from the red lips. Can't get the image of Carlos putting his hand on Charles out of his mind.

"Did you fuck with him?"

"Oscar, what the fuck?" Carlos splutters, taken aback. "This is none of your business."

"That's not a no," Oscar deadpans with as much cool as he can muster (not much). "So I wasn't good enough for you then. As a driver, I'm decent enough to keep. But in your bed, not good enough."

Oscar isn't sure what he's expecting from Carlos. Whether he denies it or not, there's no way to prove he's not lying. So truly Oscar doesn't know what he's expecting. And as always, Carlos surprises him.

"Maybe you need to remind me. Of how good you are."

"Maybe I do."

And that's how Oscar ends up with his hand down his TP's swimsuit, at the edge of the Marina Bay pool, overlooking the city and the circuit. And he is not looking at the view.

bullet train/マリアビートル details ~

Hello!! I recently dug up the Bullet Train script (if you search it up, you should be able to find it relatively easily!! I'm not sure if it's completely reliable but it seems to be the first version) and listened to the soundtrack. (It's awesome, you should listen if you haven't already!!)

There's a lot of stuff here about マリアビートル, I hope you enjoy reading 🥳 (It's really ridiculous)

-- 1 ) LEMON'S CHILDHOOD // BACKGROUND(??)

I attached a photo for reference in the book!! :D (there's highlighter marks, I'm sorry) His backstory is tragic and aahh noo 🥹... I won't say much on it because we're all thinking the same thing. In the script, this is carried over when Lemon passes out because of the water. But apparently, in the final movie, this isn't shown a lot. In the book and movie, they aren't brothers and have a considerably colder relationship, so I can understand why the childhood scene in the cut is so much more wholesome. (Still supersuper cool though!!)

-- 2) "I'm forever blowing bubbles"

The original reason why this song was chosen for Bullet Train was because of Tangerine's West Ham United sticker (turns out, that's a football club). Hey!! But wait a minute!! There's a funny coincidence because Ladybug in the book was trying to become a football star. He has a quote that's like "my friend told me that someone like me could either become a footballer or a criminal, so I did both" and he says that his first crime was stealing a football.

The song delves into themes surrounding fortune as well!! I love their music selection 🙇‍♂️😤

-- 3) THREE ASSASSINS/グラスホッパー REFERENCES

Okay this part (in a way...) contains spoilers for Three Assassins, which is the first book of the "series"! ! The story revolves around a guy named Suzuki, who appears again in Bullet Train!! He kinda-sorta becomes friends with Ladybug and it's like 😊 they are so happy. To be completely honest, Suzuki's a bit traumatised but so is Ladybug, right?? Lovely friendship!!

It's also so interesting that he's reading a hotel buffet menu because his wife used to love eating at buffets and he adopted the habit of hoarding all the food as well. He's on the train to meet with his dead wife's family (which was extremely difficult for him after her passing).

-- 4) BULLET TRAIN REFERENCES IN THE MANTIS/AX

There's this other book in the series called The Mantis or AX for the Japanese version. This one isn't talked about a lot but if you like family stories, this book is so so soo good. It really pulled at my heartstrings when I first read it but I can't say too much without spoiling everything. Anyway, it makes a few references to Bullet Train and literally starts with the main character, Kabuto (an assassin), having a flashback to talking to Tangerine and Lemon during one of his missions, where they had the same target so they worked together. The Twins really respect him, actually, but find it funny that he's so careful around his wife (YES KABUTO, AN ASSASSIN, HAS A WIFE). Some characters reappear so.. :")) yay!!

-- 5) 777

Ladybug comes back!! He comes back in the latest book in the series; 777. So far, the Japanese reviews have been pretty positive and I think there's an English translation coming in November!! 🥳 I like how the title is 777; 7 like 7 tails in Nanao (七尾), car 7, his favourite number is 7 (if I recall correctly), 7 the "lucky number".

-- 6) THIS GUY

No one asked but I heavily dislike the Prince in the book. (to be honest, who doesn't...) He's just mean for no reason and likes ruining people's lives, makes fun of poor Ladybug (this really isn't that bad compared to the other stuff he does) and yeah, the list goes on. Also apparently he (heavily) tortures other schoolmates and it's not like he gets paid for it like the Twins or the other guys. He just does it for fun?? OK!! The premise of his character is amazing and it's great to see a villain that's actually just straight evil but since he's designed that way, we are validated when hating him ww. He talks about politics as well for some reason... keeps referencing historical tragedies.... man.

-- 7) ASAGAO/THE PUSHER

The Pusher is back too!! Weee~ (not really)

In the movie, it seems as though this entire part got cut out which, like, is reasonable. I attached a photo from the Grasshopper (2015) movie for reference hahaha. The guy in the black suit is the Pusher!! Yeah, he pushes people!! (not in the fun way!!)

He is in charge of protecting Wataru from the Prince's guy, although he's reluctant at first. He's obsessed with bugs and stuff. Whenever he opens his mouth, it's probably going to be about bugs. The Pusher's also strangely poetic. Maybe it's because he likes old bands like the Rolling stones? Oh!! And he gets mentioned in The Mantis.

And speaking of the Kimura family, Yuichi Kimura says something very true and it's:

"who do they gotta make the train toilets so nasty"

-- 8) LADYBUG IS COOL

This is very much a fact. In Mariabeetle, he gets kidnapped when he's 8 years old because he gets mistaken for a rich kid (after he lost a bet with his wealthy friend and had to wear his "rich person backpack"), then in the place he's being held captive, he escapes by HIMSELF since his dad isn't able to give the guys money for his son back (since they took the wrong person!!). But heyy he's resourceful and smart.

AND guess what?? He gets traumatised because there was this other boy being held but Ladybug didn't save him and it's haunted him ever since. This is also one of the reasons why he ends up helping the Prince even though he knows it won't do him any good.

Obviously, it gets worse from there. He makes it back to his family and they're pretty happy. Unfortunately, they're far from rich and Ladybug has to study extremely hard to get into a college. Spoiler alert, he doesn't. THE THING IS!! He studied so hard!! It's just that during his exam, some kid sneezed on his paper and he wiped it, smudging all his work and even his name!! Nanao! No!!

-- 9) TANGERINE BOOK RECS

To the Lighthouse - Virginia Woolf

-> He really loves that quote. A lot. Also he's a Virginia Woolf fan!!

2. Forbidden Colours - Yukio Mishima

-> He's also a Yukio Mishima fan... I wonder if he's ever read "The Sound of Waves". What would he think about it? Hahaha this will keep me up at night 😅 (<- SLANTED EMOJI!!)

3. The Sailor who Fell from Grace with the Sea - Yukio Mishima

-> To talk about Article 41 of the Penal Code of Japan. (Mr Kotaro Isaka, the author, studied law, by the way!! It's interesting!!) However, here, Tangerine quotes Mishima on Article 41 ;)

4. Hemingway and Faulkner

-> Actually it's a collection so it's not really a book recommendation but these two people are real - Ernst Hemingway (the Old Man and the Sea guy) and William Faulkner. They didn't really get along, by the way, and even though they respected the other's work, they criticised more than praised. Sounds like the Twins.

5. Demons - Fyodor Dostoevsky

-> "Crime is no longer insanity, but simply common sense, almost a duty; anyway, a gallant protest."

I think the author is a heavy Fyodor Dostoevsky fan, just because he also referenced his works in Three Assassins.

6. Crime and Punishment ;D

She's in Three Assassins AND the Mantis!! Hypercool. In both books, the Hornet is a team of a male and a female. The female is eliminated (this word choice ww) by Ladybug but the male is still up and kicking, though Ladybug feels bad about it. They use poison needles, like the movie, but they trigger anaphylaxis, which is a really dangerous allergic reaction that causes body shocks.

-- 12) SUZUKI: PHILOSOPHER AND ECONOMIST

"If people knew that they might be killed by someone tomorrow, economic activity would grind to a halt."

... well 😅 take from that what you will.
