When they both made it to nahida they saw her talking to a child who looked like they were half listening and half paying attention to they toys they were playing with. -⚔️ After Paimon made their presents known Nahida walked towards them and started explaining why they were here, she explained that the god of teyvat was here and asked if they could protect and care for them after explaining that the child was the god of teyvat and being such a young child they are defensless and even though she is sure no one would hurt them people cough the fatui cough might try to take them. -⚔️ The Traveler agreed straight away and went to talk to you, after some talking with each other the Traveler picked you up as you three said goodbye to Nahida and made your way to the place the Traveler and Paimon were staying for the meantime. -⚔️ Paimon loved playing with you and your toys, you were just so cute and calming to be around, you two also ate lots of food together. You guys were almost like siblings and the Traveler was like your parent!

"Okay you two, we will be going to the market to get some things okay? go get your shoes on little light and wait near the door okay?" you nodded and ran to go put your shoes on. After a little while of you rocking back and forth the Traveler and Paimon came to the door and you three went off. The traveler was looking at different stalls when they heard the sound of you screaming, they looked over to see a fatui agent trying to drag you away from the market, as soon as they were about to run over the whole ground shook and Paimon held onto the Traveler, they looked over to see you were sitting down and crying with the fatui agent no were to bee seen, not even thinking twice the Traveler ran over and scooped you up in their arms and started comforting you. After they were finished and your crying turned into small sniffles they laughed softly "thats a new one huh? thats the perks of being the god of teyvat I guess"

-🧪 When all the fatui got called by the Tsaritsa they weren't expecting to be told that the god of teyvat was found and one of them are going to take care of them. -🧪 Thats when Dottore found out that he was going to take care of the god, the god thats a child at that and I mean even he was confused that they were trusting him with a child but yet again he would never think of hurting you. -🧪 He picked you up after bowing to the Tsaritsa and left to his office, contacting pantalone to get you some toys, coloring books and everything else you wanted. -🧪 He never did experiments while you were in the room and always called Pantalone to take you out whenever he was going to do experiments.

"Dot! Dot! look what I drew! its us and Mr Pantalone!" you squealed as you ran into his office and showing him your drawing, he smiled and patted you on the head as you giggled softly "that looks amazing my little god, have you shown Mr Pantalone?" he asked pausing his report on his new experiment and turning his attention to you, you shook your head "well you should go show him huh?" you gasped and quickly nodded running out of his office and making your way to pantalones office. It has been a few hours scence you came and showed Dottore your drawing and he was just thinking you were deciding to spend time with Pantalone when he heard screaming that sounded like your voice, quickly he stood up from his desk and was about to run to the door when it slammed open to show 2 new fatui agents holding you. Dottore marched over with a dark auror around him and commanded them to drop you, after they did you quickly got up and ran to him hugging his leg and crying into his pants, he picked you up and softly comforted you while usally he wouldn't show this side infront of fatui agents these ones wouldn't last long enough to step out of the room. After you calmed down and fell asleep in his arms he called Pantalone and he took you from Dottore, meanwhile the two new agents knew that they messed up big time and that this would be the last time they ever got to live. No one hurts you and gets away with it while your in Dottores care.

-🎨 Albedo was looking at different papers when Klee ran into the house dragging another kid with her, she started rambling but they were able to make out the important parts such as you being the god of teyvat and that Amber found you when she was out and brought you too the favonius knights and that Klee took you. -🎨 Albedo smiled softly and crouched down infront of you and asked if you were okay staying with it and Klee, you nodded and hugged him. -🎨 Albedo soon informed the knights that they would be taking care of you and that you will be staying at their house. While it was telling the knights that Klee decided to show you her bombs! -🎨 You mostly stayed inside the house helping Albedo with paper work and cooking, when your not in the house your running around with Klee and blowing fish up and covering Klee up so she doesn't get introuble!

Albedo tried not to laugh and only let out small snickers at seeing you on your tippy toes trying to see over the tall desk to see what it was drawing, after enough of your suffering you pouted and turned around looking up at Albedo with puppy eyes and grabby hands, shaking his head while smiling he picked you up and placed you on his lap and you looked with sparkles in your eyes at the drawing they did. They got you some paper and crayons and you started your own art with your tongue slightly poked out showing your concentration. A couple hours later you you were finished and lifted it up to show albedo "look! look!" you squealed while showing your finished drawing of it, Klee and you as a family! Albedo smiled softly and picked you up making its way to the kitchen "that's amazing my little artist! why don't you hang it on the fridge and grab some stuff for dinner?" you nodded and slid out of their grip, running over to the fridge and hanging the drawing up. After Klee got home you all cooked dinner together like the small found family you were!

-🐍 It was like what happened with Klee and Albedo, Baizhu was looking around for his medicine when he heard Qiqi's voice calling out for them, when he turned around to greet Qiqi it saw that she had another child that looked like the god of teyvat. -🐍 After Changsheng confirmed that you were the god it took it upon themself to look after you and Qiqi, Changsheng didn't want another child running around but she could let it pass just for you. -🐍 You helped Baizhu out by getting different ingredients for medicine, putting cold towels on paitents heads, keeping Hu toa away from Qiqi whenever she tried to steal Qiqi, you were just a helpful little assistant! -🐍 Qiqi also loved having a sibling around to keep her company and to keep the Hu toa lady away from her, she once intruduced you to coco goat milk and you loved it!

"Itss been quiet for a while hassn't it Baizhu?" Changsheng said while watching Baizhu write down a letter to a paitents family telling them that the paitent was okay and healthy "mm, it has been quiet hasn't it? I'll go check on the kids" they got up and left the room, slowly shutting the door behind him so it doesn't wake the person up and making his way to the place they sent you and Qiqi to collect some glaze lilies. When Baizhu made it they didn't see you two at first glance but after looking around it saw you and Qiqi making little flower crowns out of the glaze lilies, smiling they made their way towards you too and sat down "what happened to collecting glaze lilies you two?" he asked with a smirk on its face, you just smiled and started giggling "but we made flower crowns for you and Changsheng!" you got up and plopped a flower crown on his head and a smaller one on Changshengs head. You squealed and started laughing when Baizhu grabbed you and started tickling your sides "this is payback for making me worried little assistant!" you couldn't stop laughing as you fell into Baizhus lap, Qiqi running over and plopping into their lap too.

Following Aizen into Hueco Mundo was a decision filled with regret. Leaving behind your friends from the Seireitei was not your best move. But what more could you do when your older brother, Gin, had brought you along?

Honestly, what was he thinking?

But you couldn't deny him. You swore to stay by each other's side and this was not an exception.

So there you stood just a little behind him, fingers gripping tightly on the sleeve of his robe. Scared, you were barely peeking into the view of whatever Hollow Aizen had found interest in.

Ever since you set foot in this world, you were driven with fear, longing for a sense of warmth in this cold atmosphere. It's much too different than the Soul Society and the Human World. You'd do anything to get back to either one of those. But you swore to stay with Gin.

And Aizen was kind enough not to separate you both.

Until one day, he found your presence to be irrelevant and quite honestly a nuisance though he hid that fact with a sweet little lie of saying that he just wanted you to be safe.

And you remembered that day very well, too.

After all, it happened during a meeting with all the Espadas who swore loyalty to the God wannabe. Seated around the table were those 10 Arrancars and the traitors of Soul Society, including you.

"Y/N," Aizen brought the attention to you.

At this point in time, you had made yourself somewhat comfortable. Or rather, you've let yourself not get involved with anyone except your brother. So from your seat, your slouching back immediately straightened while your eyes widened. 

Your gaze lifted to meet the man, his soft orbs peering into yours. To the outside looking in, one would think he was displaying a look of warmth but you knew better than to fall for his manipulation. 

"Y-Yes?" You stuttered.

Sure, you were aware of his tricks. That didn't mean you weren't scared of him. 

"I have a very important task for you," he smiled. "I have informed Ulquiorra of everything and he is in charge of you."

"Wait, what?!" Your words slipped out, panic jolting your body as you looked from the man to your brother, your brows stitched in a silent beg for help. 

Before your brother could display even a shift in expression, your body froze in the chair. Your eyes widened, your lips emitting a hitched gasp. 

Aizen's Reiatsu was hurting you. 

Your fingers clutched firmly at the edge of the table. Your lungs felt like it was closing up, your airway narrowing as you gasped helplessly for air. 

"Are you denying me, Y/N?" His tone was silky smooth, an eyebrow raised condescendingly. 

Not without struggle, your head began to shake weakly as the brims of your eyes begin to well up with tears. Having enough of your suffering for the moment, Aizen lowered his Reiatsu and you gasped loudly as you could feel air flowing in and out of you again. 

"My apologies, Aizen-sama," you trembled, gaze lowering to the ground.

To that, he let out a pleased hum that matched his smirk. What a fucking sadist. 

So that's why you were currently stuck next to the 4th Espada, hiding in the Dangai while you waited to capture the human girl Aizen took an interest in. Honestly, some part of you hated yourself for being in such a position, forcing the same fate on an innocent girl who would do anything for her friends. 

"Inoue-san," you cleared your throat one day, knocking on the door. 

You pushed it open and saw the girl's sullen figure on the floor, gazing at the moon. She remained silent as she watched you enter. 

"How are you doing?" You asked, knowing it wouldn't bring any sort of comfort whatsoever despite that being your intention. "If you need anything, I'm at your service," you sighed. 

Silence passed between you two. Though expected, you took it as a sign to leave. Just as you were about to, she stopped you with a question. 

"Kuchiki-san told me about you," she said. "Why did you betray the Soul Society?" 

Her question struck you right at the pit of your regretful heart, making you stop in your tracks. 

With a sigh, you answered, "Just as you'd come here for your friends, I would do anything for my brother."

Refusing to prolong the conversation, you took your leave. Turning a corner as you head to your room, you felt fingers wrapped around your wrist. Holding you in place, Ulquiorra then appeared before you. 

"What do you think you're doing?" He raised his brows in question. 

Your eyes met his and you lowly exhaled. 

"Aizen-sama said that she's under our care," you reminded. "I am only caring for her." 

He let go of your hand, eyes still staring into yours. "You have no need to make friends with  her." 

A scoff slipped past your lips. "What are you?" You changed the subject, rather curious about something regarding the Arrancar. "Which part of Death do you signify, Ulquiorra?"

With your eyes stuck on him, paired with your question, he felt somewhat, exposed. His lips remain pursed, gaze peeling away from yours as he turned to walk away. 

"I do not see how that is of any relevance." 

"If I am to work by your side, I'd like to know more about you," you simply answered. 

Looking over his shoulder, he said, "As I said, I do not see the relevance." 

"I'll find out soon enough," you hummed, watching as he walked away. 

And with your future days spent closely with him, you actually did figure him out. 

You could clearly see it in his eyes, you actually wondered how you could have missed that. But you couldn't miss it anymore as each day passes by and he often visited you. 

It was odd but you had realized how frequently he came to see you whether it was to send you food or talk about the prisoner. You wondered if it was intentional but over time, you didn't seem to mind it. And maybe because now that you know him, you couldn't help the interest you held for him. 

You wanted to understand him. 

You wanted to understand why it was that you noticed his eyes changing since the day he met you. 

It seemed like you managed to reach that on an afternoon in Hueco Mundo. 

You were gazing at the blue sky, a smile tickling your complexion at the view that reminded you of the warmth back in Soul Society. But the one that sheltered you at the moment was nothing but a fake. At such a thought, your smile faltered. 

"What are you doing?" Ulquiorra's voice ran through your spine. 

"It's so heavy," you murmured. 

"What is?" 

You let out a sigh, turning around to see him. "My heart," you said. "It's full of regrets." 

He let out a patronizing scoff, "You humans and Soul Reapers toss that word around mindlessly. What is this 'heart'?" 

Your eyes flickered close for a moment but hearing his question, you understood him. 

And you understood yourself. 

And with a saddened smile, you reduced the distance with a question. "Do you not believe in the existence of the heart?" 

"I do not believe in things I cannot see," he began, taking another step. "Even with these eyes of mine that perceive all, I cannot see this so-called 'heart'."

"And that makes it not real?" 

His hand stretched forward, fingers aiming at your heart. 

"If I rip out your chest, will I see it? If I crush open your skull, will I see it?" 

The gap between the tip of his finger and the fabric of your dress over your heart closed with another step from you. His long nail threatened to puncture your skin but you did not have it in you to break your composure as you stared into his eyes. 

"Do it, then," your words silkened out daringly. 

You can see surprise behind those dark eyes, only aiding you to go further. 

"Rip out my chest. Crush open my skull. Do whatever you must to find my heart because I can assure you, it is real and it is there." 

You could see the slight tremble in his hand. With another step toward him, your dress let out a ripped sound as his claws penetrated through. 

"I have a heart that beats and with each passing second, it beats for you." 

Your lips parted in a slight gasp as you feel warm blood oozing out. Still, you let yourself be guided by your heart. 

"I am not afraid of you, Ulquiorra," you exhaled. "As I can see the emptiness in you begin to fill with the reflection of my love for you." 

Any changes of expression he tried to hide had failed terribly. But he was not the only one shocked by your confession.

It seems that you've let yourself fall for the 4th Espada. 

Maybe that would soon turn into yet another one of your regrets but for the time being, he let you go. 

His cold, empty demeanor had returned when he retracted his arm to his side. He began to walk away, leaving you a taste of his void and disappointment. But before he closed the door, he stopped. Over his shoulder, he looked in your direction but not really looking at you. 

"The human's friends have come to Hueco Mundo. My order for you is to stay in your room," he slurred out. "No matter what." 

With everything that occurred next, you still remained in your room. Why? 

Because he had asked you to. 

And you were meant to listen to him. 

So you ignored all the changes in Spiritual Pressure that occurred in Hueco Mundo to fulfill his order. But there was one change that you can no longer ignore. 

And with that worry, that fright, you ran out of your room. With all your strength, you flew upwards, past the fake skies of Las Noches and into the truth of Hueco Mundo. Landing on the ground, you stood up. 

And it was as if your mere presence had caused him to peel away his gaze from his opponent. His eyes that met yours were no longer those you saw during your first meeting. 

That emptiness that he signified was filling up. 

Just as your tears welled in your eyes, your lips parted in a frightful gasp, watching his wings begin to disappear. His hand, the very same one that bled you, lifted from his side. His fingers reached for you. Allowing your tears to fall, you cried as you ran to him, your own hand stretched out to grasp his. 

Yet no matter how fast you ran, you could never reach him. 

He was so close.

Yet so far. 

"I see it now," he said, stopping you in your tracks with wide eyes and parted lips. "I understand now," he said. 

You ignored the presence of the humans, only focusing on the fallen Espada. 

"Your heart," he let out, fingers beginning to close in an empty grip. "Has always been in the palm of my hands." 

Your breath hitched in your throat as you ran to him again, weakly struggling to reach him. 

But just when you did, his hand leaves you as it dissipated into darkened ash.

With a loud cry, you fell to your knees, our tears unabashedly falling to your cheeks. Your left hand clutches over your heart-

"Rip out my chest."

-while your right hand clutches over your head-

"Crush open my skull." 

As you were heeding his last order, he was heeding yours, providing you the sensation of actions you asked for. 

Yet another regret filled that heavy heart of yours.

Hey, just wanna drop in to say that I love your will & alex hate, hahahaha! I'm glad i found someone who's as infuriated of will as i did. He's so fucking annoying. Nightfall really ruined his character for me. He used to be my fav horsemen, but after nightfall, the only male characters i like are micah and rory. Don't even get me started with alex. She's like a whole different character in nightfall, and i hate how pd turned her character an OWD (other women drama). She was great before nightfall, why did pd had to ruin her character like that?

I was also pissed when people kept on mentioning how emory was jealous of other women with will, but these same people never mentioned how will always treated emmy badly when HE was the one who had to deal with his jealousy of seeing emmy with other men? Like the hypocrisy? 🙄 i love dark romances, but overall, i think this series just aint for me because i like no main male characters here, and that's literally the opposite goal of a romance story.

I don't find Will romantic enough because his words and actions are just so icky. Just because he went to jail for his crimes that are related to defending emmy, and kept on having loving thoughts of Emmy in his head, doesnt mean it excuses every other hurtful things he's ever said or done towards her, you know. And that's the thing, i'm aware that emmy was not fully innocent either, but at least we saw in her pov that she wasn't delusional about her bad treatment towards will, unlike will towards emmy? And his admission was only near the end, and it was so short and dismissive too? It was so unsatisying, I need a big grovelling.

😅 yeah i kind of hate those two idiots (not adorably) but i technically LOATH alex and just want will to use his brain and i am fine.

1 thing is for sure WILL too deserves hate just because he loved emory that didn't erase that he was awful to her at times.

And honestly i hate all the horsemen, none of them are my favorite.

I the entire series the males whom i loved are my precious MICAH and RORY. There is nothing they did that made me hate them, they were in blackchurch where they were put by their families to suffer but guess what they found someone they lived and thought "hey lets just chill".then they saw emory and was like "now i am intrigued, why exactly is she here?".

I just love these two cuties, they are the definition of the word pookies (i honestly hate this word)

But yes I LOVE THEM, and i want emmy to adopt them.

She probably has, they are her brothers.

Now coming to Alex, i don't think she is a different person in Nightfall, its just we get to see more of her, the real her in nightfall. A bitch who just cant understand her position.

She was not the other woman in nightfall, she was the other woman ALWAYS! thats what her character is. Let me explain.

He was someone else's FIANCE!!!!. and she was thet girls BEST FRIEND.

Imagine your best friend and fiance backstabbing you so bad. I am pretty sure she has a life time trauma because of these 2 *insert a bad word her of your choice*.

And in nightfall Alex always ALWAYS interrupted and meddled in between when will and wm are talking, a thing they barely did..

Honestly she was playing a long game to marry will, considering how she wanted will to put that necklace on her.

So when she realized "hey, em is here will wants her, and aydin is not even looking at me. Then what happens to me??"

For me she was not great before nightfall either, for me she was barely there.

She took banks to shopping not because she wanted to help her but because kai PAID her, and she will do anything for money.

She took winter to fare because will asked her and she never left him alone.

She was with winter when damon was not because damon asked her and she is afraid of her.

So yeah she never was a girls girl to me.

Emmy was jealous yes but its obvious she will feel that way because she loved will hey atleast she never behaved as rudely and childish as alex.

I hated will in present chapter, i get it you want to get revenge, as idiotic your reason is but hey have some spine and just say something.

In past he was like "i will do anything for you, depend on me, i won't let anyone touch you."

In present he was like "yes so what alex slapped her even though i know she was abused for years. Who cares? Fuck this bitch."

So yes present chapters are the reason i say EMORY deserves better than someone like will who would choose anyone be it alex, damon over emmy.

I just know if martin had been there and hit her in present chapter se would have done nothing.

I think will is romantic, i think he is the most romantic of all the horsemen, and i can never forget how he danced in front of the entire cafeteria to make emmy smile when he thought she was sad.

Its just we don't get to see it, we all have to accept the fact that pd don't love kaibanks and willemmy and we are never getting anything about them. If only someone stops thinking about rika,damon and alex in all scenarios this series would have been amazing and not grated on my nerves.

YES! Emmy is not innocent either but atleast we know from her pov what she feels, Will's pov were all him acting like a little bitch. And that short admission of his was so weird.

I have this feeling pd went out of their way to make thing infuriating in this book on purpose. How can you compare alex to emmy.

Will was a let down but only in present.

I don't need groveling, all i need is 3 or 4 chapters of will being true to his feelings, telling em straight forward that he loves em not alex he don't want her. Treat em right for once.

Even aydin treated em better than will and he was not her love interest, will was.

All throughout nightfall i was waiting for that 1 chapter of willemmy alone and in disgustingly in love. But we didn't.

As for this series, pd did not do good with backgrounds and plotline, there were soooooooo many loopholes.

And it was soooooo obvious who their favorite character are.

Favoritism is what killed this series.

I liked reading these books the curious factor was there but why would you write a book if you clearly hate both the fmc and mmc is beyond me.

to celebrate the day i made my favourite food, because i love food and can still eat my favs no problem!!

maki sushi with extra firm tofu. tastes p much exactly like i remember.

medovik! 9 layer russian "honey" cake. only date syrup instead of honey, and soy and coconut cream.

my mother used to make this for birthdays. its my favourite cake, but since you gotta bake 9 layers, it takes a bit too make. but SUPER yummy.

its been 3 years since i went vegan and i wanted to think back on my life as vegan so far.

i went vegan after i watched cowspiracy and right after earthlings.

except, thats not quite true.

no staunch meat eater just goes and watches cowspiracy and earthlings and goes vegan. (unfortunately! otherwise thered be way more vegans, haha, if we could simply convince meat eaters to do that.)

no, my vegan journey started way earlier.

i always loved animals. (who doesnt?) in university, back in 2011, i went vegetarian for about half a year. because i felt bad for the animals. it was a sudden, random decision, i dont remember what brought it up. but i only lasted half a year. why? i didnt do any research. none at all. i just figured, okay, not eating literally animals is great! animals dont die for milk and cheese so its fine.

i guess even back then i was too afraid to know the truth.

then, a few years later. corona just became a thing. i got sick. didnt get tested, because there was "no way" i could have. i went on a walk, for my health, with my ex, and i went on a rant about vegans.

i said how much i hated them and their hypocrisy. how vegans were responsible for making poor quinoa farmers even poorer. (yes, really! i said that!)

half a year later i was vegan.

how did that happen?

well, see. i used to feel very anxious about climate change. actually, i started feeling anxious about climate change back in elementary. consider we had started doing something about it back then, huh?

anyway. i felt... powerless.

"feeling ohnmächtig" is what i called it in german. translated its feeling unconscious. or. feeling powerless. helpless. without power to change.

there was nothing i could do. im just a single person. not a politician, not an employee of a company lobbying for less environmental restriction, not a rich person.

just a regular, normal person. no power. no way to change anything.

knowing that didnt make me feel any better, however, strangely enough.

i discovered zero waste. it was at least something. i wasnt overconsuming anything already, i tried zero waste. to alleviate at least some of my guilt and feeling of helplessness. if i at least do what i can...?

well, funny enough: all the people on youtube that made videos about zero waste were vegans. all of them. but they were not those pushy, mean, militant, crazy vegans. no, they were nice. telling their viewers to reduce plastic, simply stuff.

one of them posted a video on why she went vegan.

i didnt watch it for some time. made me uncomfortable. and it didnt matter, either. i was never gonna be vegan. i couldnt. me, vegan? no way in fucking hell. absolutely impossible.

And, well. It got me thinking. I could relate to a lot of the things she said.

Well, I went on. Tried bar shampoo, and less plastic, I ate more tofu and veggies in general. Kept watching their videos.

One day, I realized I had to watch Cowspiracy. I had to. For myself. For the environment. (It's what I told myself.)

So I did. I watched Cowspiracy. I sobbed. Decided to go vegan for the environment. And then I watched Earthlings. And decided to go vegan, for the animals.

And that was 3 years ago.

Right at the beginning, I was very sad. Hurt, upset, and angry. I was grieving. For all the animals I hurt, for all the animals that were currently being killed and tortured, because I suddenly saw all that pain around me. In the grocery store, during meal times, it was everywhere. I couldn't escape.

The pain lessened after some time. Then I got angry. Very angry. Those who have followed me way back probably can remember. I was just SO fucking angry. At other people that still dared to eat meat, at corporations and restaurants and politicians and-- mostly myself.

I knew it, deep down, that eating animals wasn't okay. That's why I went vegetarian. I did care, but I was too much of a coward to really learn the truth. I was angry for going that long, refusing to accept the simple truth:

Animals don't want to be eaten. And they don't deserve to be treated the way they are treated now.

It's been 3 years and I definitely calmed down a lot. I still got angry from time to time, but overall I'm definitely way more calm about this.

And... I've been trying to think of the best way to convince others to go vegan. I don't think there is one foolproof way. And as good as being angry and mean may feel at that moment, that probably isn't the best way to convince others. But I don't think complimenting somebody into baby-stepping their way into it, is it either.

I think... the main way people turn vegan is the emotional route.

You CAN rationalize yourself into turning vegan. Like that one philosopher youtube guy.

But you can't rationalize yourself into staying vegan. Because humans aren't rational. You can have the best rational arguments for something, but then one day you get home drunk after going out with friends, there's a cold burger in the fridge and you're hungry and it's probably that you eat it. That's how I stopped being vegetarian.

But if people learn the truth, and learn about the pain animals go through by watching Earthlings or Dominion, that's a whole different ballgame.

So, what's the verdict?

I'm glad I'm vegan, I'm glad I'm no longer that overly angry and I hope I can at least show people it's possible to live a happy life with good food even as a vegan.

honestly yeah, i didnt even think about the mastersword but i guess .. there were two then for the period of time between totk-past and totk-present, since it gets only send back at the start of totk so idk

but it made me think about it again, so .... that excuse doesnt work for me at all bc .. why wouldnt she want to stand out? whats the danger of that? her suddendly appearing out of nowhere, not knowing anything of the traditions or happenings of the time, being around the king and queen all the time with a duplicate enigma stone and unknown technology (purah pad) isnt weird? i know the excuse of oohoho shes a distant relative of sonia (i know its far stretched techinically true i guess) but why even do that, why go to such lengths of keeping her time traveling secret? making her less of a target for gan isnt really sensical either bc he went for sonia anyway, despite zelda clearly being the younger and less experienced of the two with less control of her power, and if he knew she was techinically more powerful .. well then shes even less in danger, and if he might have wanted to get information from her what could he have gained from it really? she didnt really know anything more anyway? like all she could tell him would be like you will lose i guess lol

Bruh same. I HATE those posts and have only seen like...one or two that im actually like "accurate" about but thats because they all basically said the same thing and thats "u want someone to love u." Because who doesn't.

I'm gonna give a soft "no" to this request because again, I don't like those types of posts and I am not here to psychoanalyze anyone but the characters in game (because they aren't real people with real feelings), but I will elaborate a bit on why these particular posts drive me bonkers. I'm going to be tagging these types of posts as "character analysis" just for ease of finding if you want to hear more of my psychological/philosophical ramblings about this otome game haha.

(Also spoilers ahead for the game past lesson 16; also spoilers for The Batman)

Sure. Maybe you do like Lucifer because you didn't have a great relationship with your dad. Or maybe you like Mammon because you were bullied a lot. But for everyone who engages in Obey Me, we all have tropes and characteristics of the characters we like and dislike for whatever reason.

If you choose not to read further into my analysis here, then the tldr is this: People aren't so one dimensional that the only reason they like/don't like a character in media is some sort of weird trauma-related inferiority complex.

For instance, here's what I like about Lucifer based on little snippets of the game where we don't see him being a dickhead: I like that his character genuinely changes from the start of season 1 to where we are now. And you can even tell which devilgrams were made in s1 and which ones were recent. I like that he has genuinely soft moments with Mc, and the romantic tropes he displays. For the rest, its mostly my own head cannons on him being soft, learning from mistakes, and acknowledging hurt caused. The reason I like him is he evolved, and is a cutesy romantic simp.

Does he remind me of my dad? Hell no. Not even close. That wasn't even my first thought in the game when he was shitty.

So why then, does the assumption run that this fictional man is symbolism for my so-called "daddy issues"? Is it because some people headcanon him as being into kinks related to domming? Maybe so, but thats not my headcanon.

So herein lies the issue of making blanket statements and psychoanalyzing people on like this, and sending judgement upon them based on their particular character preferences: Everyone engages with a character differently.

Not all people share my headcanons, and there's nothing wrong with that. I wont share everyone else's either. And that's fine. The glory of watered down characters like the boys in Obey Me! Is that you can project whatever you would like onto them! Its pretty neat! And can some of that come from a place of trauma and insecurity? Absolutely. But who are you to tell someone that liking Belphie despite the fact he kills Mc in the main plot means they're "a red flag?" Please. This shit is harmful in more ways than one.

Maybe that person had an imagined redemption arc for the character in their head? Or maybe they didn't. In short: who the fuck cares? Liking or not liking a character doesn't mean you endorse the terrible shit they do- again, especially in watered down media where fandoms are blatantly encouraged to make their own headcanons for how the story plays out in longevity, rather than the small snippets we are given. And that's something I've always appreciated about media like Obey Me!

Also, liking a "villain" doesn't make you a bad person. You can like the dynamics of that character, or maybe even sympathize with their motivations. For instance, appreciating the dynamics snd careful character construction of Riddler in The Batman is not saying "hey, I really like that Riddler killed a bunch of people in neo-nazi fashion." Again, people are more one dimensional than that.

So, in short, leave people like who they want. Everyone engages in media differently, especially within the Obey Me! Fandom. Telling people they have daddy issues just because they like a character is more or less a super Freudian thing to do- and we all know that dude was bonkers. The perceptions people have of something shape their experience, and we know this. If someone's engagement with a character isn't causing harm, leave them be.

Anyways, sorry for the long rant, but I like taking about this sort of thing. It really pulls out the philosopher in me. Any asks similar in nature to this are more than welcome, I could go on for hours about this stuff.

In Defense of Salt AND Sugar: Aka ML Fandom pls chill out.

So I don’t talk much as those who follow me will say I tend to just stick to myself and my own things. HOWEVER, Ive gotten a lot of asks about why I write both Salt and Sugar for Miraculous Ladybug.

The short answer: Both salt and sugar are valid, fun, intriguing things to read and write and the point of writing is to entertain and be entertained.

The long answer: Salt isn’t inherently someone hating on your fav show and sugar isn't someone necessarily giving it a free pass either. Ya’ll are just dramatic as hell.

The LONGER answer:

I write salt because I LIKE Miraculous Ladybug, BUT the show has not lived up to its potential AT ALL. The show could be so much better and the characters are so flawed or full of holes that occasionally I feel FRUSTRATED and mad!

I hate that Alya a character who I was so excited about, gets shafted ignored, sidelined, or written like a jerk! She could have been this great detective working alongside her friend to unmask the villain, but instead she often comes across as pushy, obsessed with Ladynoir or Adrinette, and so damn easily tricked. Not to mention how when shes not gushing over her ‘ships’ shes pushed to the side and ignored. [or you know... LILA]

I hate that Marinette’s crush makes her do things that are so cringy and awkward i feel ill I hate that she’s constantly the only one making mistakes and ‘learning lessons’ when the show has all these other great characters that could use the spotlight and be the ones learning lessons. I hate that she’s so jealous and that she cant ever seem to catch a break as if the show is punishing her constantly.

I HATE that Adrien is a mary sue, how the writers say hes perfect and treat him as such, I hate that he gets to guilt Marinette into fixing everything and dealing with bullies, I wanted a funny, Ron Stoppable, naive boy who learns about real friendships and grows into a great partner. Instead he gets to be pushy and downright a jerk as Chat Noir ignoring his responsibilities, guilting Ladybug with his feelings, never taking no as an answer. He’s not a good role model for kids.

I hate that Chloe got built up to have a redemption arc several times only for the writers to decide that Chloe a teenage girl who needs some serious therapy [and actual reasonable punishment for her actions] is worse than Gabriel child abuse Agreste. She could have been a great lesson on compassion and growth and dealing with your own pain without hurting others. Instead the writers wrote her off completely.

And dont get me started on how the show treats Nino, Kagami, Luka and the rest of the cast. They may as well be a backdrop for the forced love square that we NEVER get a break from. Seriously I’m a sucker for romance but does it need to be EVERY damn episode?! Can’t we just get some wholesome friendship between everyone including Adrien and Marinette at this point like COME ON.

And i’m not even touching on the white washing, awful lessons on responsibility and forgiveness, awful lessons on well so much other stuff really, the guilt trips, the teacher, the fact that she show could be used to teach kids how to better handle negative emotions and the importance of open communication and not keeping quiet about injustice and/or your feelings but instead decided that the main priority should be a love square that gets force fed to us EVERY SINGLE EPISODE.

My point is the show has FLAWS. That doesn’t mean its the worse show ever and it doesn’t mean its not fun, and has a great premise and characters, and so when I write Salt I write it because i’m frustrated! Im frustrated with the show, with the characters, with the writing and so I vent that out with salt I write those characters as their worst selves because I cant stand how the show has decided to treat them and Im ANGRY and disappointed.

It feels good to write salt and to read it. It’s nice to see characters get called out for bad behavior, its nice to read about Adrien not getting the girl. Its nice to occasionally indulge in salt because it validates that the show is flawed and lets you get out that frustration.

BUT ON THE FLIP SIDE

Miraculous Ladybug is a lovely show. It’s a show that decided to give little girls a FEMALE HERO. And not just as a side kick or background character! No they made her the protagonist! Its so important to me that little girls see good well rounded female characters in media.

And even if the show is clumsy about it they are TRYING to build an expansive lore that tickles the theorist brain. And gets people invested in the world.

The show also made Marinette shy, and awkward, and clumsy something a lot of girls deal with during puberty as growing up can literally make you clumsier as your body adjusts. Having a character who tries to be positive and tries to find solutions who solves things with creativity instead of pure violence. Thats LOVELY for young girls to see.

Growing up I loved and admired Kim Possible, and probably would have loved Marinette, even if the shows not perfect I can admit its trying and I can see why people love it as much as they do! And why they write these fluffy sugary fics its the reason I WRITE fluffy sugary things.

Because even though I am frustrated and angry and disappointed with the show, I still see Alya’s potential and how great she is as representation to little girls who want a black female superhero so I write fluff where Alya’s loyalty, compassion, cleverness and her pursuit of justice are center stage.

I see how Adrien could be better and I want him to be better and I WANT him to be the naive funny comic relief the Ron Stoppable to Marinette’s Kim Possible. I want Adrien to grow and learn and spit in his dad’s face I want him to overcome the abuse and be happy. To show people that neglect and abuse doesn’t mean you will get stuck like that forever, that you can overcome that and be a better kinder person.

I want Nino and Kagami, and Luka and Chloe and the class to grow and get attention and have funny moments I want to laugh and make other people laugh! So I write prompts focused around comedy and shenanigans and where the characters get to be fun and silly and make decisions for themselves!

SO IN CONCLUSION:

I write salt AND sugar. I see the value and merit in both sides of the coin, and I respect how other people see the show. I know its easy to get angry with other people in the fandom who see the show differently then you do but please can we put down the weapons and just BREATHE.

Someone who writes salt might LOVE the same show as you, and they might in fact love it so much that they vent their frustrations in angst and salt and cracky fics. Let them vent about how they wish the show was better, leave their tags alone or block them if you cant stand to see it. But dont attack salt writers for ‘hating on your show’ when they might love it just as much as you do but want a way to vent out their feelings.

On the flip someone who writes sugar might NOT be forgiving the show for its flaws, they might see all the same flaws as you but decide to take that frustration and write fluff and fix it fics and sugar because they want to indulge in a version of their favorite show where everything is just... OK. Where everyone is well written and happy and the character development sticks. Stay out of their tags let them have their sugar, they aren't writing it to hurt you just like you don't write salt to hurt them.

So ENOUGH. Enough hunting each other down, enough sending each other hate, enough filling each others tags. Let people write SALT if they feel angry and vengeful and disappointment, let them have their tags, let them explore the dark side of the characters, let them rant and rave and be HURT when the characters they love upset them with their actions. Its not your place to tell them to stop, to tell them their feelings are invalid, to tell them that ‘adrien is sweet sunshine boy how dare you’ or ‘alya would never’ or ‘i hate your marinette leaves dupont au’. Just leave it be, heed the tags, and let it go.

AND ENOUGH. Enough hunting each other down, enough sending each other hate, enough filling each other tags. Let people write SUGAR if they just want something to feel happy about. Let them makes coffee shop au’s, let them make fix it fics where everything is just happy without needing 8 pages of backstory for why everything is just happy. Let them squeal and gush and talk about the ship they like and the fluff they see. Its not your place to argue with them that the show is flawed, its not cool to ruin their fun by accusing them of not understanding the flaws, to tell them ‘umm actual this character shouldn’t get to be happy’ or ‘wow this is so shallow’. Just leave it be, heed the tags, and let it go.

PS: Now with that said and done. I do have one final message for everyone - If you write/enjoy pedophilia, if you sexualize KIDS. Then get the fuck out of fandom spaces, stop fucking following me, and do everyone salt and sugar a favor by LEAVING. Carefully reads every stories and listens to their lines attentively. He finds it amazing how the company spent their everything on this game. It amazes him. From the stories, lores and lines, he truly appreciates it.

Balance his team pretty well. He mains bennett so he doesnt need that much of a healer in his team.

Enjoys bennett's hangout very much!! He tried to not get him killed by the dungeon's trap but ended up having to sacrifice him which ultimately ends the route. He had never felt so down and guilty before.

Not much of a damage dealer. He prefers to play it in normal mode and doesnt care that much about one shotting monster.

He feeds his character three meals a day!! If only there's a sleep option, he would be sending bennett to sleep first before the rest.
