Oh it’s GOOD.

I am having a blast! I haven’t finished it yet but I think I’m close; everyone says the finale is awesome so I’m mentally preparing myself for being a sobbing mess lol that being said it’s a good game but definetly there seems to be missing something- like the devs had an idea of something very cool but didn’t go all the way through. I feel for them because I know what it means to being forced to rush a project (yes it’s been ten years but oh my god the amount of times they had to restart everything) and of course the fact that they got laid off once the work was done. Makes you wonder what this game really could have been. Anyways! Solid eight out of ten for me so far!

I just had one of those, "If I won the lottery" thoughts that was about banned books. Look up a place that has banned a book and get a nonprofit company set up that can access marketing data. That kind of data is pretty granular, showing various information about age stats and such down to a street and house level.

Then have that company buy up copies of the book and mail it to the demographic it's being denied to with a little letter explaining that it's free, thanks to [Generic Company Name] since [Generic Company Name] understands it's not available in the community anymore. Include a little generic blurb on the letter to say something about how censorship isn't the answer, ideally with a slant to appeal to the local politics, and then end it.

Set up the company to be as opaque to ownership as possible to make it a pain to see who's behind the corporate veil and don't make any press statements (or very, very generic ones that are obvious boilerplate). You probably couldn't do EVERY place that bans a book and you couldn't do every book that got banned either but you could do it enough to definitely cause a stir.

my problem is i want more fanart and i'm impatient and have a bad memory. not in the sense that i don't like waiting for fanart from artists just that i'll lowkey forget i commissioned someone and i'll be like i want more fanart but i literally just commissioned some the artist just isn't done yet so i can't spend money on more because i already spent money on fanart and no longer have my fanart spending money. but i . forget. and i. want more.

Poking around eBay always seems to end up reminding me of one thing I’d love to do if money was no object (like if I won the lottery or something).

Namely buy “junk lots” of old toys, books, and other stuff.

Some things I’d probably repackage and resell, or maybe donate to places that could use them. But I’d definitely keep and collect some of the stuff like a dragon protecting its horde.
