Here are some of my HI3rd Au Nemi pieces! Anything related to that au is just angst- I still don't feel like explaining the lore in detail so I'll just rapid fire it:

-Junqiao is a herscherr

-Junqiao possessed Nemi (via gem)

-Junqiao is a homewrecker bc he slowly made Leona fall for him while possessing Nemi's body

-Nemi got forced to become a valkyrie against their will after regaining a bit of control from Junqiao

-end game plan is for Nemi to give up their body and consciousness over to Junqiao since they no longer have anything to really "fight" for as Leona loves Junqiao now instead of them :D

-all Nemi wanted was a simple life, no valkyries, no honkai, just a simple life by Leona's side (but even that is a pipe dream eh?)

The decision of keeping the relationship between you and Sejanus a secret had been mutual. First off, your father would never approve of you dating someone from the Districts. He'd forbid you from seeing Sejanus ever again if he were to found out about the two of you.

And second of all, your classmates would never stop making fun of you for it, without mentioning all the teasing and bullying Sejanus would get- even more than usual.

You were happy together, and you both knew you didn't need anyone's approval for it.

Both you and Sejanus had done a pretty good job at hiding it at the Academy, never holding hands in public and speaking only if necessary, as you usually did before you started dating. You doubted your classmates suspected anything, maybe only Coriolanus had some suspicions given his friendship with Sejanus.

That was, until yesterday.

You had just gotten out of history class after a particularly tough exam, and you were definitely mentally exhausted. You just wanted to go home and lay down, but you still had a long day ahead of you.

Sejanus saw you walking in the hallway, definitely looking out of it, and immediately noticed something was wrong. He frowned, carefully approaching you. "Is something wrong?" He asked, walking side by side with you.

You shrugged and nodded. Sejanus furrowed his eyebrows, detecting your life a mile away. He didn't want to push you or make you uncomfortable, but wasn't he - as your boyfriend - supposed to make sure you were always happy? Or at least try to do so.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I'm just tired." You explained, stopping right in front of your next class. "I'll be fine after a long sleep. For now, I just gotta survive." You joked, offering him a tired smile.

Sejanus smiled back, unable to hold himself before leaning down and leaving two kisses, on your forehead and cheek. "Okay. I'll see you later then."

You blushed at the contact, not at all used to Sejanus showing affection in public, and waved him goodbye before entering the room, still stunned by his sudden  action. Sejanus stood there on the door as if lovestruck, observing as you found your seat and took out your books, before finally walking away to his own class.

The day after the first thing Sejanus did upon arriving at the Academy was searching for you. He could see some of the other students murmuring between them and pointing at him as he passed, which didn't surprise him. He had become used by now to the mean jokes they threw his way at school.

He finally found you talking with Lysistrata outside of class. He was going to wait for you to be finished talking with your friend before greeting you, but as soon as Lysistrata noticed Sejanus her eyes widened. She slightly moved aside, smiling gently. "I have to go now. Let's catch up at lunch!" She said, waving goodbye to both you and Sejanus before walking away.

You nodded and smiled, turning to your boyfriend. "Hi. How are you?" He asked, trying to sound casual.

You softly laughed at his attempt, "I'm good, thanks. As I said yesterday- I just needed some sleep." Sejanus was about to respond, when Festus appeared behind him.

"Plinth." He greeted, before turning to you. "So, uh, out of pure curiosity. How long has this been going on?" Festus asked the both of you.

You and Sejanus exchanged a confused look. "This what?" You questioned out loud, genuinely confused, but Festus simply shrugged.

"You know, this?", he gestured between the two of you, "whatever you... share?"

Sejanus raised an eyebrow. "Festus do you have a point to make or are we going to stay here all day?"

"How long have you two been dating?" Festus let out, almost looking unsure of his own words.

You suddenly felt your cheeks grow warm, and you could see Sejanus was having a similar reaction next to you. Considering the grin Festus was now wearing after witnessing your reactions, lying seemed pointless. And Sejanus seemed to be of the same opinion since he responded, "A couple of months, actually. Why, you jealous?"

Your blush only increased as Sejanus took your hand in his, softly giving it a squeeze. Festus' eyes went from your intertwined hands to your face, and finally Sejanus'. "Dear Panem, no." He said with a mocking laugh, "but I do own Hilarious money now. Great."

"You guys bet on how long we've been dating?" You asked surprised, a mildly amused tone in your voice.

Festus nodded, "I bet a week, him anything longer than that." He commented, annoyed.

"How did you-"

"Oh c'mon. Did you think no one would have seen your sweet moment yesterday?" Festus teased him.

"The kiss? It was just-"

"On the forehead. And cheek," Festus interrupted Sejanus again, "you guys usually barely talk at school. You really thought it was subtle?" He let out a laugh at Sejanus' dumbfounded expression and then walked away- probably to give Hilarious what he owed him.

Sejanus turned to look at you with an unsure smile on his lips, putting his arm protectively around you. Now that everyone at school apparently knew, at least he didn't have to act so distant with you anymore. "So... they know."

"Indeed they do." You murmured, leaning into his touch. "I don't really mind, they were going to find out sooner or later. Do you?"

Sejanus shook his head. "Of course not. But your father-" You put your finger on his lips, shushing him.

"We'll take care of that when the time comes. For now, let's just enjoy what little freedom we still have." Sejanus smiled and nodded, giving you a long, sweet kiss on the lips.

I love the moments where Momoka gets all serious/mature mode

Momoka apologizing.... seeing everyone getting shocked about it.... Honestly, this one broke my heart a bit. Momoka, who had lost all self-confidence, had rebuilt it very slowly because of Nina's and everyone else's trust in her.

So, seeing the song that was made by her with the members in mind not doing well must be a blow to that fragile confidence yet again. She was guilty that she let everyone down.

Everyone is tired (affectionate) of Nina's outbursts while Momoka looks awestruck... Of course, we will add this to the album of the Momoka Gayze (tm) but I think this is also related to her self-confidence.

I just said that Momoka felt guilty and like how Momoka blew Nina away in Ep. 1, Nina's outburst blew her away in a way that no, no one was blaming Momoka for their failure and the person that she is closest to still believes and trusts in her.

That awestruck gaze, admiring Nina's confidence and unwavering belief for her and the group. To the song. To their decision and that they weren't wrong. Maybe I'm just overthinking it, but let me be lmao.

Okay, now for GBC as a whole: I adore this show so fucking much. I didn't expect to fall in love with the show when I started watching it, but man. I am so glad that I didn't wait for this to finish and got to wait each week for a new episode with everyone.

Personally, the ending was okay. It feels like it's just the beginning, so it didn't feel like an ending ending. Idk how to explain it. It just.... it's like not everything has been concluded.

Regarding momonina: I am not surprised that nothing happened on camera. But with all the subtext and hints, I will take it. Sure, I wished they addressed the confession more openly, but you can't win it all.

Overall, this is my anime of the season, possibly anime of the year, and definitely one of my all time favorites. Maybe I'll make a post about the ED (since it's an epilogue), about momonina, or my fave moments throughout the season but we'll see haha.

The Lionheart Brothers Bookcover (part - 3) from Shri - 29/03/24

Hi Archie!

I'm glad that my bullying (affectionately) worked!

Seeing you getting so stuck in your character's stories makes me want to get back to my comfort characters and their stories - I'm actually trying to make some official character sheets for them, so maybe one day I'll be able to officially show them to people.

Until then here are some of my warm-ups and cool-downs of them instead.

Anyways getting into Part 3!!!

Recap on what I was talking about

The last blog was about how I was completely lost in what to do next as I just couldn't come up with anything with the right vibe.

So I went back to the basics by analysing first what the existing covers were doing and what I liked and disliked about them.

Notes at the time

What I’m struggling with is both depicting their relationship (their adorsion for each other) while also showing the more intense scene later in the book

Both the covers on the left [above] have the brothers physically larger than the dragon, showing how although the dragon is massive, the story is about them and overcoming the dragon.

These are good examples, showing more of the adventurous side.

Though I don’t like how it shows the dragon which is a mystery of the whole book, so kinda a spoiler.

I also had a look at other book covers to find what kind of vibe I wanted the cover to look like

I absolutely loved the composition of this one, with the ice queen overshading the character, again showing the control over the progestins story.

I then came up with these two sketches.

This was the breaking point for me although it's very similar in composition to the first draft I did, its tone is completely different.

Differences

Brothers Poses:

The pose on the first draft was showing fear, running and determination. while the new pose of the brother shows the absolute adoration they have for each other and how the book is driven by their love for each other.

Notice how the older brother is not even looking at the perales ahead he's just looking at his younger brother with so much love, while his younger brother returns the gaze.

(btw I am obviously talking about familial love)

This gives the cover a hint of a vintage look, implying the tone of the story - capturing the innocence of vintage stories I was struggling to capture.

Note how during the colour phase I took out the eye complete getting rid of the dragon. this was because I felt visually that the area was getting too busy, distracting from the brothers. so I took it out.

And other notes

The Cherries and the roses are a narrative node towards the village's feathers in the book. Cerry village and wild Rose village.

Look how the brothers are in front of the border/frame, this was to visually show how they go from one world to another in the story. going into another world with the vibe of a painting or a storybook.

The dove flying onto his arm shows how he's an advocate for peace and will fight for it (pose - he's visually standing against the bad guy in the image) and his natural acceptance of the dove shows it's his nature to fight for peace.

The bag guy seamlessly blends into the landscape filled with shadows - again showing his control over the lands. Notice how the two elements in red (and at the highest pion of the page) are the shell/horn and his helmet feathers - these are his symbols of power

I love semma so much. I love them so much. I have literally written roughly 60 pages of story for a universe I completely aside from a few things, made up, comprising and spanning over twenty years of time so far.

Impressive mildly, to say the least considering I rediscovered an outline for this from 2000s? I of course fleshed out doctored this storyline there's been quite a few versions of this story but ultimately I kind of have a hope that I have given my thirteen or fourteen year old self justice somehow?

At the very least I'm finding myself a writing machine which makes me feel good. 🙃

here's to the genuine hope that someday soon I will complete backtrack, find a way out of this corner I wrote myself into in together forever (an emjay vehicle and my pandemic baby), and some other long, multichaptered works. I suck at writing endings. ✍️

I always aspire to write a holiday esque story this might be the year it happens to be finished on time. Backtrack believe it or not was slated to be in the earlier chapters but I kind of diverged and I'll fated maybe this Christmas I pretty much scrapped and time got away from me is literally holidayesque. I have one I hadn't posted pretty much and this story ive been working on has always been a holiday type story but it doesn't like my other stories aren't all one ship there are multiple relationships interleaved such as in Backtrack there's Cranny and Janny in a weird triangle that ultimately leads to fall out for one ship and a full on romance for the other relationship which initially was planned to play out much differently than I started with, in this story mentioned above there is an original character and entire life that didn't pan out in canon who now exists in this universe I created circa 2003 and fleshed out and humanesque. By comparison Camille of Backtrack, the Wasaga Beach "girl next door" who is sort of cursed by where she comes from was somewhat based loosely on Theresa from The OC and also if you could believe it Haley James from One Tree Hill.

Camille, affectionately known as Cami or Cam, was Sean's childhood best friend he grew up with in Sean’s trailer park in Wasaga Beach. They were both not from money, she was a smart girl and had potential to be something but circumstances and luck seemed to not be on her side. While other kids in their neighborhood were about parties, drugs, are generally prone to growing up too fast, experimenting deviant behavior and the like they largely flocked together and that stuffc didn't phase them and they were boy and girl but the best of friends, the trope kind of Haley and Lucas or Steve and Robin. No sexual or romantic undertones what so ever. That was them, Sean and Camille, though at thirteen.

Camille knew Sean was going through a lot. Tyler Bishop was a popular guy who would push the other peers around but she never put up with that. Things were going in a bad direction and Sean’s anger was reaching a boiling point.

He blacked out in a rage and we know what happens next.

It's worth noting she initially dated or pursued Tyler, who was Sean's enemy, bully, and later catalyst for his departure from Wasaga, to get him off of Sean's back and she had a slight crush on him but she didn't intend to betray her best friend but tensions with Sean and Tyler only intensified.

When he went to live with Tracker, he unfortunately lost contact with Camille. She grew to love Tyler a little prior to Sean and Tracker’s fight, implied he

Fast forward to when Sean returned to Degrassi, and he and Tyler with Camille's now together in a long term happy relationship, Sean was able to bury the beef with Tyler and be peaceful and worked toward a friendship while they attended Wasaga High together for their junior year. Camille was still gearing up for her future. She still had good grades she had uncertainty about college and lack of funds and since Sean left she became a popular student through her relationship with Tyler and experienced the things they'd sort of thumb their nose at as young kids before things changed.

Sean then of course joined his friends back in Toronto at the start of the next school year and ultimately pursued the military and enlisted and all that. Fast forward to 2013 he briefly returns to his trailer park community. Camille is around, she wasn't successful post college and returned home after she graduated and is living with Tyler in this off and on revolving door relationship. She was in home Healthcare and taking care of Sean’s sickly father and her own older parents we don't really know them. The old friends catch up one night over beers and in their loneliness and drunken state have a brief hook up and one night stand resulting in a pregnancy and around the time Tyler and Camille reconcile. Days later Sean returns to Toronto and pursues a life there and also Emma who Camille knew all about her and was supportive of him. Their hook up wasn't something that ruined their friendship and was buried because she didn't know she was pregnant until months later. When she finally discovered it she assumed it was Tyler's because they were in a relationship around two days after Sean’s and they had make up sex. It's also worth noting Tyler is an alcoholic but he is a hardworking guy and loves Camille. He can't wait to be a father but she's looking for a way out because of his temper. They've had violent arguments before it's implied much like Theresa and Eddie in Chino and the animosity between Sean and Tyler in the past is the only real reason for their arrangement and she felts guilty, couoled with arguments and she can't justify staying together but ahe doesn't know how to be alone anymore. He's a very possessive boyfriend and she'd be arguably more successful and got away like Sean did if Tyler didn't root her in Wasaga and financial aspects and other influences too keep her complcant compliant and generally beat down so nothing changed really.

Tyler's alcoholism intensified with the financial stress of working more to provide for the incoming baby. It became more evident that there was a possibility that he might not be the father of the baby. Sean and Emma, since we're in a committed relationship, and paid his mom and dad a visit in a later chapter. Emma heard a doorbell ring and opened the door to find Camille in the early morning to take Sean's father's daily vitals and such visably pregnant. They shared a pleasant conversation while Sean slept unaware.

Emma had never heard of Camille or his life in Wasaga like it was some dirty little secret and she had limited information aside from how he wound up in Toronto but not the key players in the rest of it in the meantime. In Sean's past, she was key and instrumental. It needless to say hurt her feelings.

By now, all four are adults. The pregnancy on Camille is unplanned, but timing was on their side. Prior to this, Emma had been previously married to Spinner. They never had children and were currently divorced for over a year, and Sean and Emma reunited in December and quickly became romantic by Christmastime. Also, Tyler wants to be committed with Camille stable but his alcoholism and implied temper cause tensions and barriers and the fight to end all fights puts her in fight or flight mode and she ran away when he passed out.

somewhere along the lines prior to this all, Emma finds out she can't have a family of her own. She is essentially sterile Camille agreed to a surrogate situation upon finding out the news, and her circumstances being what they are it made the most logical sense. By now she sheltered by a battered women's drug and mental health center in Toronto since the violent fight with Tyler, she later meets Alex Nuñes there who is in recovery (drug addiction) become close as roommates. Sean and Emma catch wind through Alex of this situation, and Camille gets discharged, and she moves in with Sean and Emma.

I've finally finished Nusantara Bermuda Triangle!!

I finished ALL the routes for Nusantara Bermuda Triangle and phew... What a ride for the antagonist route.

My favorite route to my least would be

1. Arya

my baby 😚I'm still a sucker for tsundere archetype, the mask, everything about him is like Ajinomoto, MSG, a flavor enhancer for romantic things to be more sweeter(saltier)

2. Antagonist

I love his character, his story route. If we get something special like... An epilogue/in the future/somewhere down the line type of thing where we get to see a romantic CG of them together(Something like Love and Deepspace how the LI remembers MC in their past lives) maybe, just maybe 🤏, he'll be in the no.1 spot

3. Guntur

Him and Kahlil are the ones I skipped the most(mostly because it's all the same, except for dialogue and event changes) but his is the most fun, more teasing towards the MC (Kahlil and even Arya is having fun with them at MC expenses)

4. Kahlil

Unfortunately his route is the least memorable for me 😞 in fact, by the end, in the epilogue, I don't think I know what is his wish. I most likely don't pay attention to it, my bad. I only remember the flower crown during the Autumn Village and his past life.

By all means, that doesn't mean Guntur and Kahlil's routes sucks, the fact that I skipped during them probably has an effect on my playthrough.

If you don't like/stand the Tsundere archetype, they're your get-go routes, they're fun and entertaining routes. Fluffy galore! I just happened to be a masochist and like getting jabbed by mean words at the heart.

Antagonist's Ending Talk

I'm a bit sad with the ending, it really is an open ended ending and the fact that there were very few explicit romance interactions between you and him(that the mc is aware of *wink*) makes the good ending gut punching despite it being a good ending.

I get that The Goddess can't just "BAM! You've redeemed and now you can live your life with her!" The goddess has to work overtime for the super-mega-ultra good ending for us.

I fell asleep after getting the antagonist's good ending, I was going to stop at the bad ending but I was determined.

I dreamed about how we, the players, play the game again after getting the antagonist's good ending(maybe multiple times), he existed as the usual bachelor, like he's been reincarnated!

After that? I don't know, I black out. Probably the same as how the other routes go, I do love his harsh exterior towards MC, how he bullies her affectionately.

-Antagonist Talk Ends-

In general, for all 4 characters, I have to say the ending epilogue does feel a bit rushed. Despite being a family girl, we don't get to see her family reactions to the bachelors, how she's feeling afterwards. Maybe the latter is for us and how we conclude the story, but I feel like it would be nice seeing her feelings even if there's a chance we don't feel the same way.

I love the game regardless, especially Arya and Antagonist. If SweetChiel makes a DLC(especially for antagonist) like Cinderella Phenomenon: Evermore, I'll gladly buy it!

I've been a fan since her first otome VN, Nusantara: The Legend of Winged Ones, (Reksa my love) I look forward to SweetChiel's future projects!

Okay so I do this thing when watching horror movies where, when a character does something incredibly stupid, I'll think "this idiot has dumb bitch disorder fr", yk, as a stupidly unfunny joke. When said character CONTINUES to do painfully stupid things, I'll just roll my eyes and decide "fine, if you're going to continue to be stupid and stress me out, then your last name is Dumbbitch now."

That information is important because OH MY GOD DOES EVER AFTER EVAN NEED TO CHANGE HIS LAST NAME. this dummy passing out MULTIPLE TIMES during his fnaf experience is giving me SO MUCH ANXIETY. he is sooooo dumb, I'm gonna need to come up with a third tier in my "dumb bitch" rating because the STRESS IS TOO MUCH. I felt like I was having an out of body experience reading his interaction with the Marionette from how terrified for him I was and how expertly you captured the suspense and quiet horror of the moment. I sincerely cannot stress this enough when I say: OH MY GOD.

I was so hyped for the Cassidy and Evan team up and it did not disappoint! What a beautiful blend of comedy and unsettling foreshadowing. And then i was SCREAMING when you ended their little duo on that cliffhanger, but I didn't even have time to be upset about the cliffhanger because you IMMEDIATELY followed it up with that emotional gutpunch of young Evan being traumatized.

"That same horrific moment played in his mind over and again. Grasping the sheet. Expecting to find his brother and coming face to face instead with a corpse." "For four glorious days he’d had the ideal big brother he’d always dreamt of, and he’d been too much of a coward to let himself enjoy it." Like I was only partway through this chapter when my roommate came up to me and tried talking about something, and I had to be like "respectfully, can we continue this conversation after I finish this chapter. I'm literally begging you."

And i absolutely need you to know that I was just reading your ending notes on that chapter when my roommate inquired about whether they could ask me a question about the research paper they're writing. And then I was friggin half-crying as I said "umm, I'm currently emotionally devastated by the fanfic chapter I just read, but go ahead."

My roommate literally just looked up at me from behind their laptop and asked "....are you okay? (Me: no) ...do you need a hug? (Me: no) .... Drugs to make it hurt less [/j]? (Me: ...no)."

That chapter was so beautifully horrific, I'm both in awe of you and angry at you for this fresh new trauma. I'm literally still misty-eyed with a gaping, aching hole in my chest as I type out this ask :')

Just finished playing Chevy's route in the His Loyal Maid event, as usual, Clavis had my heart. I'm a Clavis' woman, after all. I like the ridiculous smirk and his beautiful smile u.u

But i will admit, i wish we had this Chev in his OWN ROUTE. It showed he was caring, loving, protective and respectful of MC's choices even when he didn't agree with them, and they acted much more like a couple than I had ever seen from the two of them. He even almost lost his cool when he saw through clavis

I'll be totally honest, before this event, i thought Chevalier would be dismissive of any idea he saw no benefit for or that he disagreed, but when MC asked to be a maid, even though he showed disapproval in his face, he let her do as she wished because he respected her autonomy and her way of doing things.

It's just really nice to see this in their already stablished relationship, specially with all the times MCs being referenced as his future queen. Even though he calls her his little rabbit, it's way more of an affectionate pet name than a pejorative one like in his route where calling her a rabbit equals her to easy prey, silly prey, weakling, and someone who freezes in the face of a predator as rabbits are known to do; he sees her as his future queen.

And another thing I liked about it is how cutely unreasonable he is for her. Yes, when he saw her all dirty after being bullied by the servants that don't accept her as his bride, you cannot tell me he wasn't this 🤏 close to simply either executing them all (hold your horses, this is not a yandere fic) or simply firing all the servants who oppose to MC as their future queen. And he very well could have because even though MC ain't no snitch and didn't babble to him, he very much figured everything all on his own, and despite thinking her method was foolish because 1. He could solve it with much more ease, and 2. He doesn't like to see her going through this, he never once tramples over her agency, stepping back to let her handle things her own way, simply resigning himself to watching OVER her, without meddling but more than ready to protecc if needed.

huehuehuehue I won't lie- I didn't know anything about stardew valley apart from the fact that it's a farming game and apparently the npcs are hot (for real)

But, I got to playing and downloading it because one of my friends suggested it after I said I wanted a chill game that I don't have to put much effort in asdfghjk-

It's pretty chill and is actually fun whenever I play, ngl tho once I achieved most of the goals given by the game and only a few more to finish, it started to become a little bit repetitive cuz all I did was do my chores around the farm and also start a family with my in-game husband lmao (my hubby is elliott, aka a long-haired writer hermit that lives in a cabin near the ocean :'D)

As a game, I definitely recommend it if you just want to live out your dream of being a farmer after resigning from a draining desk job from the city :D

One of the highlights of this game tho are the npcs fr, all of them have their own actual personality, they're not all the nice very general and lifeless npc we've come to know. Most of them have their own problems and some have their own dark-ish pasts and plot twists (it's like a telenovela bruh)

It also doubles as a decorating game (which I am a WHORE for ;D) you can decorate your house, your farm, greenhouse, hell even the sewers are available to be used :''D

all in all, a pretty good game fr (it just sucks that there's so little fics for my hubby once I started to look for them :'''D)
