Once you’re ready, he even takes you to your family’s gravesite

He lets you take all the time you need because he knows how badly you need this

Recovery is never an easy road. Tomas knows this from first hand experience. Doesn’t matter though because Tomas is always gonna be there to lift you up when you fall

Overall, Tomas would handle the guilt aspect the best. He has his own experience when it comes to losing family and guilt, so he’d understand how you feel

i think my biggest critique of the first arc was the ferrix crew storyline. i didn't really feel like we spent enough time with them, and on a personal level with the characters (namely bix, brasso, and wilmon, less about cassian in this case), where they are now, how they feel about that, i felt like it was missing something.

(quick disclaimer that i've only watched the episodes once; my opinion might change upon a rewatch and upon seeing the rest of the season, but for now this is my first-viewing takeaway.)

it felt a bit like the writing sacrificed getting deep and personal with our ferrixians in exchange for pushing the discussion about them being illegal workers/immigration/etc. we've obviously got some very real world parallels with the discussions around illegal workers, and important discussions at that, but it would have been nice to hear from bix, brasso, and wilmon how they feel about being forced to leave ferrix. what does it mean for them to live somewhere that's not their home? it would've been nice to hear them mention jezzi or any of the other ferrixians, and how they wish they could speak with someone back home to see how things are. i think the serious topic of immigration and illegal work would've hit harder if we'd gotten to see first-hand how these displaced characters are feeling.

i also wish we had gotten to see the three of them (four counting bee) interact with each other more, especially in the lead up to brasso's death. again, i felt like we sacrificed seeing the bond that bix, brasso, and wil have with each other to make room for them interacting with new characters, namely talia and beela. (nothing against her) but i didn't really see the point to talia's character, other than having a friendly face to leave bee with at the end (even though they could've left him with beela). this show has done an incredible job in the past at making me care about a brand new character in about 2 minutes flat (see even the beginning of 2x01 with niya's introduction), but i don't think that thought and care was put into talia. i didn't get a sense of her personality at all, and it felt like she was just there to be there. they could've still had her there, and just made her friends with the ferrix crew. but i didn't really get much out of her and brasso being an item. (i actually thought brasso's friendship with kellen had more depth, so we could've just focused on that instead, if they wanted to establish that the ferrix crew had a foothold in the community.)

beela had only a bit more personality, but not much. i think the connection between her and wilmon could have been more interesting, and could have had more depth, even in a short amount of time. if we'd gotten a better chance to understand why wilmon is drawn to her and her to him, it would've made him running off to her when they're getting ready to leave more understandable. and then the consequences of him leaving to see her, causing brasso to go after him and get caught in the stormtroopers' crossfire, would have hit harder.

and as for brasso's death, i predicted that he would die in this first arc, so that wasn't surprising. but it was a real blink and you miss it death, which felt a little odd. (*i* missed it anyway; idk about anyone else, but i didn't even realize he'd gotten hit until cassian saw his speeder crashed and smoking.) we've had very quick sudden deaths before (look at most of the aldhani crew) but this felt so distant compared to how beloved brasso is. and considering that we didn't get that much screen time with him before it happened, i really was just left wishing for something more from the whole ferrix crew's storyline before they lost brasso.

i hope we get to talk about brasso and ferrix more in future episodes, since bix and wilmon (and cassian, of course) are still around. but it does make me a little nervous about these year-long time jumps.

I'm wondering how much of the fandom reaction of "Aziraphale doesn't ACTUALLY want Crowley to be an angel, he just wants to keep him safe/happy!" is because we spent four years between seasons assuming that Aziraphale had already accepted that Heaven and Hell aren't all that different, and that demons and angels aren't inherently good or bad. And it's difficult to let go of that idea in the same way that it's difficult to let go of the idea that they talked their shit out That Night At Crowley's Flat and have been happy ever since. But to actually understand Aziraphale's choice without hiding it behind coffee or lies or secret plans or body swaps or magic tricks or purely romantic intentions, we have to to understand that Aziraphale is still working under an incorrect framework of the world as divided into Cosmic Good and Cosmic Evil.

Because the thing is. Aziraphale does not like that Crowley is a demon. He just doesn't. We can talk about his reasons, but I really don't think that it's a disputable fact at this point. Aziraphale CONSTANTLY talks down to Crowley about the differences between them, and disparages demons in general and Crowley in particular over and over again. I mean, he's obviously just spewing the party line at this point, but he even describes the ultimate triumph of Heaven over Hell as "rather lovely." To Crowley. Where does he think Crowley fits, in that scenario? Is he thinking about it? (He is, surely, given how distressed he is over the danger Crowley is in due to the Arrangement?)

Crowley, to be fair, often says similar things about himself, and hates when Aziraphale calls him things like 'nice.' But as I've mentioned in another post, I think 2.03 makes it all but canon that a lot of that is self-preservation. Hell can't know that he's running around saving children and rescuing people from suicide and poverty, or he'll get dragged down there for decades. Crowley doesn't really think of himself as evil--he's visibly upset during their argument when Aziraphale hits him with "you're the bad guys!" because he thinks Aziraphale knows him better than that.

But instead, Aziraphale makes knee-jerk assumptions about Crowley and his intentions over and over again, including that he's behind the Reign of Terror in Paris and, about two minutes before realizing he's in love with him, that he's working with Nazis. Crowley seems annoyed and hurt both times, and denies it. There's no demonic posturing from him then.

Which makes the Job ep really interesting, right? Because Crowley actively lies and says that he is doing the properly demonic thing, but Aziraphale doesn't buy it. And why doesn't he buy it?

"I know the angel you were."

To Aziraphale, Crowley's kindness stems from the traces of that angel he knew. He thinks Crowley does good in spite of his nature, and not because of who he is as a person, life experiences as a demon very much included. This is because to Aziraphale, Heaven is Good, and all goodness must stem from it.

I've seen people get accused, when making this point, of attacking Aziraphale, or saying that he doesn't love Crowley, which is a ridiculous takeaway from S2. I've never seen a person more obviously in love, or a person more obviously trying to do good in the world. But so much of Aziraphale is tied up in his ability to believe multiple contradictory things at once. (See: the 80 years between "maybe there is something to be said for shades of gray" and "Heaven is the side of truth, of light, of good.") That doesn't make him stupid or ill-intentioned (in fact, he wouldn't need to do the kind of mental gymnastics we see from him if he wasn't clever enough to see through at least some of the bullshit) but it does mean that he's fully capable of loving Crowley while at the same time believing that demons are 'the bad guys.' Solution? Make Crowley an angel. Fix him, fix the bad apples in Heaven, be happy together, eliminate human suffering. Vavoom. Sorted.

Idk man. I'm constantly seeing takes that just...completely discount that Aziraphale really, genuinely, has misunderstood Crowley and the way the world works in his choice to return to Heaven. We can't blame it all on miscommunication. The most honest conversation in the world wouldn't fix this. Aziraphale has to go up there, without Crowley, and learn for the last time that Heaven is not Good, and will never be Good, because there is no Good. Good doesn't come from Heaven, or God, or even Crowley (and I see y'all, putting Crowley on a pedestal, saying Aziraphale wants to remake Heaven in his image--stop it.) Good comes from making the choice, in a very complicated world, to help as best you can, and it comes from love. And that's what Aziraphale will learn in season 3.

The blackmailing Vaggie thing was very anticlimactic and dumb as fuck especially since they made Vaggie avoid being questioned. It would've been more interesting if Vaggie did what Adam said and spoke against Charlie at the meeting.

I've come to realize that Heaven is just shit and nobody knows what they're doing. The fact that they have a piece of shit like Adam up there and he himself doesn't know why he's there in the first place is very telling.

I don't think Cherri is a bad friend at all, but it was very off putting for her to constantly peer pressure Angel Dust when he's been trying to have a good streak. I get that she's a party animal and don't give a fuck but she could at least be mindful of her friend that's trying to stop their bad habits.

Angel being protective of Nifty when she was drunk was so cute. I'm happy he saved her from Val even if she didn't need it.

Of course! Luzhen has to be there to see everything! He doesn't get tto go into town much at all so everything is new and different! And he is very much an Explorer like his bug brother mama. Wukong kinda has to keep him up there or he'll bounce off and they'll never find him again!

The twins are, once again, tbe bane of my existence. This time the colors were what I struggled with most. They simply did not want to color. They're mischievous, but less so than normal. Rumble don't feel too food with all the noise even through the headphones so Savage jsut wants to stick close to their sibling and they both stay close to Mom, but they still throws bao at their big brother's head. Just to be stinkers.

Yuebei is very much staying close to Mama, but she's happy to meet Dinosaur Girl. Her hanfu is intentionally big because I imagine she's going through the first of many growth spurts, so she needs the room. Yuebei is the most excited about the parade because she likes fireworks like Mama does, but keeps trying to eat things she shouldn't.

Wukong is my pride and joy in that Pic. I tried very, very hard to make him look human but not too human while also not obviously being a monkey. Maybe they think he's a cat, idk, they jsut know that ain't a human. He's super tired with all the cubs but still very much a stern and loving mom, it's the experience with all the babysitting he does for his subjects. He is the first to drop his glamour and the only one to do so on purpose, dropping it pretty much as soon as Spider Queen's hive bots try to target one of his cubs to get them away. He meets up with MK somewhere in the middle and hands the babies over before going to do the monkey king thing. MK shortly hands them over to Sandy in turn to follow after but has to flee because gross spiders and his mom getting caught. I like to think thay while the interaction goes similar to how he got caught the first time, the actual capture happened because Wukong pushed MK out of the way and ordered him to run as soon as he realized LBD was there

Luzhen is one misadventure away from Wukong making him a leash baby. He's so much like his big brother/adoptive mom that it worries Wukong sometimes. He just glad that his mini-me doesn't care for peaches XD

Rumble & Savage are so chaotic, they cause issues outside the forth wall. They def make a point of tossing bao buns at MK's head when he isn't looking - though he might just catch it mid-air with his teeth, he's had practice around these two. They likely try to avoid too much of the parade, but they still appreciate the visuals of the fireworks.

Oh gosh Yuebei hitting a (one of many to come) growth spurt and Wukong trying his best to find her nice day clothes that she hasn't outgrown. Yuebei hides behind her mama shyly before Mei says Hi, and suddenly the baby girl is excitedly pointing at Mei.

Mei: "Aww! Is she curious about me?" Wukong, sighs knowing whats coming: "Yes. She's fascinated with your skin." Mei: "No problem - these are my scale patches. I'm a d-" Yuebei, overjoyed: "Dinosaur!" Mei: "...Yep! I'm a dinosaur!" Yuebei: (*delighted giggling and bouncing in place!*) Wukong, whispering: "Sorry, she's in a big dinosaur phase." Mei: "Oh don't worry! I was a horse girl growing up! Gotta encourage her!"

Wukong is beautiful in the art. He's so soft and strong looking. I can imagine he steals MK away to see the parade for a bit (and ask him how well his experiences in the city are going), only to get blindsided by the Spider Gang's attack. A spider-bot scares the babies and immediately it's Monkey King-mode.

MK just gets handed his little siblings when it becomes obvious that MK is terrified of the arachnid enemies. Wukong knows MK isn't ready to take these guys on and doesn't want his eldest to lock up under pressure, so he tells him to take his siblings and get out of there. The twins argue that they want to stay and fight but protective mama Wukong ain't having it. MK runs to the Noodle Gang since Sandy is almost guaranteed to have a vehicle that can get them out of there (or barring that the HQ in the bowel of his ship).

And ofc as the pressure/severity of the situation increases, MK's own glamour falls apart - leaving a panicking monkey demon in the human's place.

Tang, triumphantly: "HAH! Told you! Monkey demon!" Pigsy: (*grumbling*) MK: "Huh?" Pigsy: "We sorta had this running theory that you weren't 100% human, kid." MK: "Since when?" Pigsy: "Since before you picked up the staff. I thought you were like, a human raised by demons or something." Sandy: "I personally thought you might have been part cat demon." MK: "...did anyone think I was just human??" Red Son: "I did." MK: "GAAHH! How'd you get on the ship!?"

Transferring schools can be tough. Having done it a few times you would think it would get easier, but it doesn’t. You just never know how people are going to act or treat you. I just hoped this new school would be better than the last one.

As I walked into the school it didn’t seem that bad. People at their lockers or in friend groups that were made in the first few months of school or from past years that I had missed. I just ignored the group of people as I tried to look around for any signs that told me where the principal's office was.

As I looked around I couldn’t see any sign that would lead me to the principal's office. People had already left to go to their class so it wasn’t like I could really ask anyone. I tried to hear if there was anyone around but all I could really hear was the key chains on my bag. I then went and silenced them by grabbing them to get them to stop hitting each other.

Once they were finally silenced I could hear a guy and girl talking. In soft voice well, mainly the girl. The guy talked like a nervous mess so his voice went high pitched here and there as he talked. I then headed over to them. Trying to see if they were too busy for me to ask for help or not. When they got into my line of sight I could tell that they were my age.

The guy had blonde hair that was in a faux hawk style, blueish-grey eyes. The girl had burnt coral hair and eyes. Her hair had gone to her shoulders. They were both wearing the school uniform. They didn’t seem like they were in an important conversation so I decided to ask for help.

Clearing my throat before speaking. “Excuse me?” They both stopped talking before looking over at me. I felt myself shrink into myself. Kinda regretting getting their attention and not just going down hallway after hallway to find the office.

“Oh. Hello, I’ve never seen you here before. Are you the new girl?” The girl with the coral hair asked, departing from the guy and standing in front of me. When The guy realized that the girl was moving to be more in front of me he followed her.

I nodded before finding my voice. “Yeah… It’s Kianna Komori.” I put my hand out for them to shake.

She then takes my hand before speaking. “I’m Hinata Tachibana. It’s very nice to meet you” You could tell that she was a bubbly person. From the way she talks to the way her eyes showed so much emotion as she talked. As she let go of my hand I then looked at the guy as I put my hand out to him too. The guy seemed like there were multiple things going through his head before Hinata elbowed him before pointing with her head to my hand.

The guy snapped out of it before taking my hand. “Takemichi… Takemichi Hanagaki.” He then lets go of my hand as quickly as he took it. He seemed like a person that was very nervous.

I then looked at the two before back at the girl deciding it was best to ask her than the guy. “Well it’s nice to meet you both… I was wondering if one of you could help me find the principal's office.” I had laid my hand to my side. Trying not to mess around with my sleeve so it didn’t seem like I was as nervous as Takemichi. Hinata looks over at Takemichi before nodding to him.

She then looks at me. “I can. My teacher wouldn’t care unlike Takemichi’s teacher.” She said before she started walking with me to show me the way to the office. Takemichi was watching us as he was going to protest but knew that Hinata was right. His teacher was so done with him being late to his classes.

He then waves to us. “See you later Hinata. Bye Kianna.” He said before heading the other way to his class. The walk was quiet. The only sound was my key chains hitting each other and our feet hitting the ground.

I then decided to interrupt the silence. “Are you two a thing?” I looked over at her with a small smile to show I wasn’t trying to be rude about the question. Just curious. She looked over at me. Her smile was so soft. Her cheeks had turned a little red just by the mention of that.

She then nodded. “Yeah. We are. He’s a really great boyfriend. Just has a lot of issues about not getting into fights.” She rambled on as she looked forward. I nodded. I wanted to ask questions but decided to keep them to myself. Not wanting to pry too much into their business seeing how we just meet and everything. After a few more minutes of walking we finally got to the office.

I just sighed before going and following him. You would think that maybe Draken can pick a better classroom to go into but no he didn’t he picked one with a lot of smaller gangsters. I couldn’t help but laugh as I saw all the gangster’s in the classroom. Their eyes were so wide before they all got angry. Even the teacher couldn’t stop the brawl that was going to happen. The teacher just ended up walking away, more like running away when the first punch was thrown. It was really easy to beat all of them. They were lower status. So they didn’t fight that well. Once they were beaten. I then looked over at Draken. “Want to deal with them? I’m going to keep looking for Takemitchy.” I said. Draken looks at them before me. He then shrugs. “Yeah I got them” Draken said before going and ordering them to all lay down. I waited before going and started walking on their backs. Till we got to the last one. We must have been really lucky since we got our own human carpet and the next room even had Takemichi in it. “Takemichi!” I exclaimed as I smiled when I saw him. I then waved him over to us. The teacher is going to stop us before Draken gives the teacher a look. Takemichi then nervously grabbed his things before coming out.

𝙺𝚒𝚊𝚗𝚗𝚊 𝙺𝚘𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚒 𝚙𝚘𝚟- I had been in my last class. The class had just finished when I heard people talking about something with Hianta and Takemichi. I had quickly put my things in my bag before getting up to go and check up on them. I haven’t talked to Takemichi besides this morning but I have with Hinata since we have a few classes together. So I wanted to make sure that she was okay. I was able to find her pretty easily. Her just being at her locker. I then went over to her. “Hey… You okay? People were talking about something that happened to you and Takemichi” I explained as I looked at her for any injuries. She had looked at me before shaking her head. “Oh yeah. I’m okay and so is Takemichi. I had gotten him and his friends mixed up. I thought they were stealing him to go and beat him up but that wasn’t the case.” She explained as she smiled before going and grabbing her things from her locker. I nodded before going to my locker. I was glad that it was just a misinterpretation and they didn’t end up getting hurt. I got to my locker before undoing the lock. I then grabbed my bag from my shoulder and was about to start taking things out I didn’t need before seeing one of my key chains were off of it. What?! How?! How could that one have fallen off? That one was my favorite too! I started to dig through my bag, my locker, around my locker, I tried to rethink my steps to see if I could think of any place it would have dropped from. Of course it had to be my hello kitty one. The one that took me forever to find and then another forever to even get the money for it. I then quickly got my things before going back over to Hinata who was leaving the school. “Hinata! Wait!” I said before catching up to her. “Hey, have you seen a key chain? It’s a Hello Kitty one. I lost mine and was wondering if you saw it!” I said. I probably sounded like a dead man since I was so worried that I would never see it again. Hinata had a look of thought before shaking her head. “No… I haven’t seen one Kianna. I’m sorry. It might pop up in the lost and found box tomorrow.” She said, She then waved goodbye, giving me hope that I would find it soon. I just groaned out in frustration. That really sucks. But I knew going around the school would be a dumb idea since the school was going to be closing in an hour and I won’t even have enough time to get through the first few classes since I still don’t know my way around that well. It might just be a better idea to wait and then look tomorrow. I then dragged my feet as I walked home. Upset that I lost my favorite keychain.

𝔐𝔞𝔫𝔧𝔦𝔯𝔬 (𝔐𝔦𝔨𝔢𝔶) 𝔖𝔞𝔫𝔬 𝔭𝔬𝔳- I had gotten home. I had sneaked into my room before Emma could even ask me to help her with dinner. Not really wanting to help out with the cooking or even the clean up dinner. I then put up my gang jacket before going and getting some of my pjs. I then changed. As I was changing I then felt something in my pants. I then pulled it out. I then looked at the Hello Kitty key chain that was in my pants. I found it yesterday on our way out of the school with Takemichi. I had wondered whose it was but decided in an instant to just grab it and try and return it to the person when I found them. Ooooo that means I get to see Takemichi again tomorrow! I was about to sit down when I finished changing before I heard Emma call for me. Guess she finally heard me in my room. I then groaned out before setting the key chain in my gang jacket before heading out to go and do what Emma needed me to do tomorrow.

𝙺𝚒𝚊𝚗𝚗𝚊 𝙺𝚘𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚒 𝚙𝚘𝚟- The day felt like it went on forever. I was going to go and look for the key chain in the morning but I had gotten up late and barely even made it on time for class. So I was just going to wait until the end of the day. But it felt like today had been five days in one. It felt like every second that went by was an hour. Today was never going to end. Especially when I was in my last class. It was like it was prolonging when I could search for my keychain. When the class did end. I didn’t know I could stand up from my desk that fast. I would have gotten way more dizzy if I wasn’t so determined to go and find my keychain. I didn’t even go and try to talk to Hinata. I went straight to the lost and found. I had gotten directions half way though since I did get lost but that doesn’t matter. All that mattered was that I got lost and found. Only to find- To find nothing! Nothing at all! Where is it?! I was mentally cursing myself. I was digging in the box but couldn’t find the key chain anywhere. I swore I lost it here. I wouldn’t have lost it on my way to school… Right? I mean it had to be lost here at school. I was mentally falling apart as I was trying to think if I did really lose it at school or on my way to school. Which if it was on my way then there was no way of getting it back. That means it would take me an eternity to find a new one and even then I was already attached to the one I had. I was about to go digging for the keychain again till I heard footsteps stop behind me. I looked behind me to find a guy that was around my age, below-average height with pitch-black piercing eyes and long blonde hair that is only the top layer of his hair is tied up. I looked at him confused. I was about to move for him to search through the box till I swear what was in his hand. A Hello Kitty keychain! “Hey! Where did you get that?” I asked. Not even realizing that it sounded a little rude as I pointed to the keychain. The guy looked at me confused as he looked at the keychain in his hand. “Found it yesterday… Is it yours?” He asked before handing it to me with a smile as he tilted his head. I just nodded before smiling. I then took it as I looked it over. It looked like it was well kept and wasn’t broken in any way. I was so happy I could bounce up and down. “Thank you so much! You don’t know how worried I was that I fully lost this.” I said as I looked at the man. I then felt myself get more embarrassed as I hadn’t even introduced myself or get to know the guy’s name at least. I then felt my cheeks get a little red. “Also the names Kianna Komori. Thanks for finding my keychain and bringing it back.” I said as I went and put the keychain in my bag before looking back at him when he started talking. “Majiro Sano. Or you could just call me Mikey” The boy named Mikey said as he put his hand out. I then took his hand. His hand felt so warm against mine. I then let it go before walking past him and waving to him. “Well. See you again maybe. Thanks!” I said as I headed to the doors to the school. I didn’t realize that this meeting would end in an obsession to the point I just wanted him near me all the time.

𝔐𝔞𝔫𝔧𝔦𝔯𝔬 (𝔐𝔦𝔨𝔢𝔶) 𝔖𝔞𝔫𝔬 𝔭𝔬𝔳- I didn’t know why but when I got home I didn’t even try to sneak into my room. I just instantly went to the kitchen to try and see what needs help. I did see the looks Emma gave me when she heard I wanted to help. But I was just in a really good mood. Maybe from meeting that really cute girl, Kianna, was the reason behind it or that I got to see Takemichi again. Even while I helped Emma I couldn’t shut up about how I met Kianna and that I thought she was really nice. I thought Emma was going to get upset with me but this is payback for all the times she just talks about Draken non-stop. Those nights were the worst sometimes. All she wanted to do was talk to me about him. Ask me questions on what she should do. While all I wanted to do was to go to bed. I would try to secretly go to sleep while she talked but when she noticed she would hit me with a pillow before speaking again. She would do that a few times before getting upset and walking out of the room. Now I understand why she wanted to talk about Draken all the time. Since it makes you feel good. Even though my encounter was shorter than hers and Draken it still made me feel good. Even after dinner. While I was in my bed just trying to go to bed. I couldn’t stop thinking about her. I wanted to see and talk to her more. She seemed so cool. So nice. Normally I slept really well. Able to fall asleep easily after a long day of dealing with the gang but not tonight. All that occupies my mind is her…Kianna. After a few hours of not being able to fall asleep I decided to get up. I had an advantage on things she likes. Hello Kitty.

𝙺𝚒𝚊𝚗𝚗𝚊 𝙺𝚘𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚒 𝚙𝚘𝚟- Last night was so rough. It was hard to even sleep. I couldn’t stop thinking about Mikey. How he had taken care of my key chain and didn’t break it like most guys would have when they touch things. And even how nice he was. He was also a very good looking guy. I didn’t get a lot of sleep since my mind wouldn’t stop thinking about him. I was lucky enough to get at least four hours of sleep. But throughout the day I couldn’t help but think about meeting Mikey again. Get to know him, talk to him, hangout with him, and so on. When the day ended. I don’t know why but I got out of my desk pretty quick. Not like I did to find my keychain but still pretty quick. I then made my way to my locker to get the things I needed and put things in there that I didn’t need. As I grabbed my flip phone I saw that there was a message. I then went and looked at it before seeing that it was from an unknown number. My guess it was Hinata seeing how she asked for it this morning. But the message didn’t make sense since she was just a few feet away from me. It was about if I wanted them to come get me after school. I then looked towards Hinata before going over to her. “Hinata? What do you mean by getting me after school?” I asked. Her face told me all I needed to know. She also didn’t seem to know. “What do you mean? I haven’t been able to text you yet.” She said, I looked at her confused before showing her my phone. “Do you know who this might be?” I asked. She took my phone before looking then smiling. “Oh! I forgot to tell you but… Takemichi’s friend wanted your number. Saying that he met you yesterday. Mikey.” Hinata said. I couldn’t help the big smile on my face that appeared as I nodded. I then thanked her before walking away quickly. I then texted him sure with some smiley faces. That must mean that he was also thinking of me. I wanted to bounce up and down with excitement. I waited outside the school before I saw him come to the front of the building on his bike. I then went over to him. “Hello, Mikey,” I said as I waved at him. Mikey smiled back at me as he nodded. “Hey! Hope you didn’t mind me getting your number from Takemichy.” He said, cheerfully. I shook my head. “No no. It’s all good!” I then ended up getting on his bike by the end of us exchanging words. He had told me that he was hungry and was going to stop for food if I was good with that. Which of course I was. That meant I got to learn more about him. ★★★The time spent with him was so much fun. I hated that I had to depart from him. I had learned that he was in a gang, The Tokyo Manji Gang. I also learned that he liked dorayaki and taiyaki. He also acted childish too and that he had a friend named Draken and many more. I even got a few photos of us throughout the hangout. I instantly went to my room. I then went and started printing them out. I then went and got some thumb tacks and put the pictures up my wall. When I had finally gone and headed to bed I felt like I could fall asleep a lot easier now knowing that I can see Mikey whenever I can.

𝔐𝔞𝔫𝔧𝔦𝔯𝔬 (𝔐𝔦𝔨𝔢𝔶) 𝔖𝔞𝔫𝔬 𝔭𝔬𝔳- It had been about two months since I met Kianna. She was awesome. I couldn’t help but want her around me all the time. I kinda hated it when we were apart from each other. I wanted to be around her all the time. No matter what. We had started hanging out almost every day and I couldn’t help but hate every departure from each other. I just wanted to keep her for myself. I wanted to be around her all the time. It felt like it was going to gutt me from the inside out. But we were finally going to hangout at her house. I finally get to see what her room looks like. I mean it would be better if we were at my house so then I could keep her there with me forever. I then shook those thoughts out of head. I then parked my bike before heading to the door. I then knocked before waiting for her to answer. When she did I smiled at her before waving. “Hello!” I said holding out the O a little longer than normal. I saw her smile as she nodded. A thing that I loved when she did it self consciously. “Hi! Come on in.” She says as she moves out of the way for me to come in. I then walked in before looking around. The house was just so cute. It really matched her. I already loved her place. I then looked over at her. “Are you giving me a grand tour?” I teased as I tilted my head to her. She looked at me chuckling softly as she nodded. She then took me on a tour around the small apartment. We ended up in her room. I was sitting on the floor in front of a small table that had some snacks. I couldn’t help but see that the snacks were some that I love. I couldn’t help but grab a few to start eating. “I love your place.” I said as I took a bite out of the dorayaki. Being humming. “Ooo This is so good,” I said with food in my mouth. I saw her smile. We talked for a while before I went to reach for another snack but found them all gone. I then frowned as I looked almost like a kicked puppy. I saw Kianna frown when she saw my look before standing up taking the tray. “I’ll get us some more!” Kianna said as she headed out of her room. I then nodded as I waited for her. I don’t know how long it had been but it felt like forever I needed her next to me again. I was getting impatient. I then looked around before deciding maybe there is something I can take so when I head home I have a part of her with me. I then started going through things. Trying to find the best things. I then saw a box. There has to be a good thing right? I had opened the box before stopping. They… They were just photos of me… Does that mean? Does she also like me? My heart was pounding from excitement. That she also might like me back. I had gotten out of my trance when I heard someone come to the doorway. I look over before feeling my eyes go wide. There was Kianna in the doorway with an axe. “Kianna?” I called out. Wondering why she has the axe. “You weren’t supposed to see that… Not this early…” She said, She looked down before looking back at me. She then started coming towards me. I didn’t know why but I didn’t feel that scared. I then went and picked one of the photos up before showing her. “You had to get me mid bite? I look so weird.” I said as I turned it back to me with a small smile as I laughed. “I can’t say much though… I have some photos of you in weird situations… But you look good in all of them so that's good” I hadn’t noticed that Kianna stopped moving towards me. I then looked up at her when she set down the axe. “You… You have photos of me too?” She asked in a soft voice. I nodded so quickly after. “Why wouldn’t I? I mean your mine so I would have photos of what’s mine…Right?” I said as I spoke about it like its common knowledge. After a few moments of silence I then saw Kianna nod. She then walked back out before coming back with more snacks. I then sat back down before clapping my hands. “Yes! More snacks! They are so good!” I said before going and grabbing another snack and eating it.

idk why but I thought y'all might wanna hear what I thought about the season premierrrrrr!!!! it was so good and so chaotic. so many things going on at once.

when Janine walked out and revealed as district, I HAD A HEART ATTACK. but then the context helped. im just a little confused because didn't the Manny the district guy say Janine could go back into her class 1-2 days out of the week to teach?? or was it just to go around about hearing feedback?? it was so sad to see Janine's kids not caring about her presence and the super mean substitute. But, that one little boy, Alex, made my heart just warm!!!! It just reminded Janine why she's doing what she's doing!!!

omg and Janine and Gregory?? the way Janine HAD THE CONFIDENCE to go talk to Gregory about her feelings at the beginning of the school year??? like where did that bravery come out of, and she handled the rejection so well. like honey. I would have DIED. but also.... the way Gregory just... moved on???? well, I get why. bro has to protect himself, but like come on greggy boy, don't tell me YOU DONT just feel a little of love for Janine???? but I love the way writers handled it at the end. they didn't leave the awkwardness for the season and that is something I APPRECIATE. and at least we know that Gregory and Janine still want to be friends and still miss each other platonically.

I think Janine is getting really confortable and friendly with the district crew and it's kind of scary me because if she gets TOO comfortable, she won't want to leave. I think when the fellowship ends, they'll offer her a permanent spot on the team and she'll want to take it but still teach at abbott.

Barbara was so cute this episode, with her makeup. and with how honest she was to the district. as some who works at a high school and has been dealing with a particularly horrible district and administration, Barbaras words hit too close to home. but she realized that the whole district team is essentially just 4 Janines with the power and position to make things happen. and I think she's really opening up to relying on the district more.

omg my girl Melissa. honey., I was so scared every time Gary made a marriage joke. and when he proposed I HAD A HEART ATTACK AND FOR A SPLIT SECOND I THOUGHT MELISSA WAS GONNA SAY YES and the rest of the season would be wedding planning. but as embarrassing and heartbreaking as it was for Melissa, she stayed true to herself and was mature to end the relationship. and my girl just crying made me cryyyyy omg. she looks so sad even though she was the one to break up with Gary, AND I KNOWWWWWW SHE'LL STILL BE HEALING. I don't think this is the last well see of Gary since he goes to the school every Thursday, but I think it'll be the end of their relationship permanently. but now that Melissa knows fs was wants to date and knows she doesn't wanna get married, I think she's gonna be in her exploration phase. HOEEEEE PHASSEEEE. god please send Melissa a gay awakening PLEASEEEEE. she needs a rebound and no better rebound than a woman. that would be so fun and so true to her.

What if the group escapes with the help of the Crane group (except Ashlyn ig... she'll be going through some shit with Maverick kind of staying by her side, evil or empathy idk), and each kid is with the Crane Group member who matches them the best: Ashlyn- Maverick

Aiden- Mr. Thomas

Ben- Blondie (that is, if he does get his name drop, btw I'm gonna consider a character having a name mean they are important to the story)

Taylor- Jasmine

Tyler- Ryan

Logan- Alex

And they're all just kinda on the run from the bigger organization. I like to think each kid has different feelings based on who they got with.

Ashlyn is stuck in this strange comatose phase, following phantoms around to figure out how to get out of this sleep. She senses Maverick nearby but can't do much about him. Although, she senses strange calmness every time he's around (He's speaking comforting words to her, hoping she could hear them, and let it be known he's there for her... omg uncle figure y'all?? FOUND FAMILY AU BABY-). Maverick is just sort of sitting by Ashlyn, observing her to see when she'll wake up, wondering why he came to this point in life (redemption arc baby).

Aiden doesn't trust Mr. Thomas at first, refusing to believe he and him are similar. But after some exposure, he finally understands the similarities, and feels seen by the teacher. They do... a lot of stupid shit while on the run (All those poor billboards man). Thomas also has to keep Aiden close to him in case the phantom tries taking control. Although he does treat Aiden to skateboarding and cool events (which they half the time end up having to leave early because Crane members)

Ben is hesitant to talk to Blondie, not wanting to speak to him. But he notices how Blondie doesn't really look like he wants to talk either, but forces himself to so he could communicate important information either way, and starts to slowly communicate with Blondie (with paper). They bond over the fact that they both don't like communicating with their voice, and Blondie thought giving Ben some speech therapy could help him out. He works with him often, while they relax in calming picnic spots or fields.

Taylor literally will refuse to talk to Jasmine the first 3 days, both out of fear and frustration (She probably has PTSD bc of this woman). Jasmine won't force her to talk, simply asking questions that require head nods or shakes. After 4 days, Jasmine gives Taylor a nice little trip to the Mall Of Georgia, seeing if there was a possibility to contact her brother (who was with Ryan) so they could talk after so long. She let her roam a little bit, with a good amount of cash to treat herself. Taylor does some shopping, not really having fun since she was alone, but she overall got a good change of clothes, meaning she didn't have to wear Jasmine's stuff anymore. While exiting from the food court, she stood there for a second, observing a group of friends having a fun time, not having to go through the hell she was in. She pulled the hood over her head, just wishing things could go back to at least the simpler times. However, she was unaware of the fact that a Higher-Up crane was attempting to sneak up on her. But luckily, Jasmine had been driving up the car to the entrance and planning on waiting for Taylor, when she saw this. Without thought, she drove full speed and hit the Crane Member. Taylor was caught off-guard, and realized what had been happening. "Get in!" Jasmine yelled in a panic. Taylor quickly threw her bags inside, closing the door, and Jasmine sped off. [Side note- Some kids who knew Taylor recognized her, and it spread around the school like crazy]

Tyler is straight up being sassy with this man. Insulting his bald ass head (Insults is his coping mechanism fr), and not really cooperating half the time (Phantom is starting to affect him, so). Although, when he is calm, he generally learns about Ryan, and they discuss about their similarities (Like them being both Hispanic, although Ryan is also mixed Vietnamese). He takes Tyler around the state, giving him a little break from the madness, also making sure he has a safe place to be at night for when it hits 12:00am. (He took him fishing once, safe to say he's never doing it again.)

Logan already got along with Alex, so he's just discussing about plans to get back with the group. However, Alex encourages him to take breaks every once in a while, by taking him stargazing on multiple occasions. He also does calming activities with Logan, like touring museums or having nice little snacks by ponds. They also grow close to each other, treating one another like family (FOUND FAMILY AU BABYYY)

12. When Nanba gets anxious he fiddles with his jewellery he does it sometimes while talking to people he doesn't know that well and they usually think he's threatening them and he has no idea why

13. People that aren't in the Armament assume that Kousei and Shougo r brothers all the time, Kousei laughs it off , Shougo gets awkward and quiet , and Juuzou gets a tiny bit jealous cuz like that's his lil baby bro

14. Shougo has some sensory issues and on some days its worse and it makes him not wanna wear the tfoa leather jacket but he'd rather die then disappoint his seniors so he wears it but he's so obviously uncomfortable and stands like a puffed up bird with his arms to his side but not touching him and his legs a bit too far apart and it's so uncomfortable everything he does looks like one of those stock images but he thinks he's doing a good job of hiding it meanwhile everyone in the armament knows and when it's one of those days they send him home saying there's nothing today or give him some work to do which needs him to remove his jacket

15. It's few and far in between buy there r days Nanba is more insecure about himself to the point he'll do anything he can to avoid looking at his reflection and the rest of the armament have caught onto it and help him by covering any mirrors and really reflective surfaces or setting them out of his sight

Let's start with CROWS :

– Hiromi and Bandou are, duh, in love and later on get married. They were in love during high school but since there were so many emotions between them it was hard to decipher to what level. But during Hiromi's third year they realized they couldn't live without seeing each other/not being around one another for that long.

– Young Bandou had a crush on Sugata.

– Harumichi screams at the monkeys in the zoo.

– Makoto is a he/him butch lesbian on HRT. He's out to everyone in their friend group beside Gunji (the boy was unaware. Had whiplash when he learned. But later on did not gaf.) He also was a silent tank because he did not like the sound of his voice.

– Zetton is a hundred percent autistic with ADHD. He's really intelligent but has difficulty focusing on one thing at a time. He'll sometimes neglect one thing for another if he deems it necessary (regardless of their true importance). Pisses off a lot of people, Hideyoshi being top of the list.

– Hideyoshi refused to pay to pierce his ear and did it himself with a hammer nail. Luckily his ear didn't get infected since he had put the nail on top of the gas until it turned red (it was painful), but he can only put one type of earrings since the hole is too big for regular ones.

– Masa had pink hair at some point. A very soft hue, a yellowish pink.

– Gunji gets extremely clumsy around girls. Very awkward, loses all sense of speech.

– Yasu once got so drunk he cried on the way home when he thought Harumichi had turned into a fat cat he saw on the street. While Harumichi was right beside him mind you.

– Ryuushin is hot blooded. He gets too warm swiftly. That's why he often doesn't wear shirts under his jacket.

– Tatsuya is cold blooded, in contradiction. He always has an undershirt.

– Harumichi also is cold blooded but he's a show off. He catches colds easily.

– Bulldog knows sign language. Learned it because of a girl, now uses it to curse people for fun and to get discounts on stuff since he's deaf in one ear.

– Yonezaki is a sleepwalker. Stopped taking naps at school when he woke up standing on his desk in front of his entire class.

– Kousei is allergic to pollen. The guys find the way he sneezes adorable, like a mouse squeak. But they don't find it so cute when he starts to turn red with watery eyes. They all carry EpiPens in their pockets because of that.

– Jou likes to do food critics for fun. He's actually a very good palate.

– Teru and Kiiko are a couple. Parko's the third wheel. He does not give a fuck though, even when they start to flirt. He often intrudes, unaware, but they don't mind him at all – they even include him sometimes. (Me, you, and Steve type of situation lmfao)

Let's go over to WORST now!

– Kiyohiro gets flustered easily. He turns red as a beet root. The Armament (mostly Tesshou) LOVE to tease him to get some kind of reaction. It pisses him off so much he sometimes leaves and only comes back the day after. (He doesn't give anyone any information. Not answering calls or texts. It frightened everyone the first time he did it. They almost ordered a man search.)

– Tesshou often comes to the scrapyard with painted nails because his little sister enjoys doing them.

– Shougo is easily offended. He doesn't show it but he'll sure sulk later on. Takumi is his worst enemy when it comes to that.

– Takumi is a sarcasm missile. He always finds a way to send a jab. Meaning it or not, he'll find a way to make a snarky remark.

– Maekawa has a wheezy laugh. Sounds like he's choking.

– Kuniyoshi is afraid (dislikes the sight) of needles.

– Renji is a mumbler. Mumbles words as he walks or stays still, doing whatever. He mumbles in order to remember all of the information he's gathered, otherwise he might forget some details or mix things up.

– Sakota is easily startled. Jumps at any short disturbances. But he's so hot-tempered that it just looks like he's going to crash out each time someone startle him (they don't know they just scared him).

– Tora is actually really silent on his feet. Startled Sakota more than once. Weirds everyone's out. Looks like he teleports across the room when no one's keeping an eye on him.

– Asai ears can move but they're also extremely flexible. He can put his ear in its hole, literally. He did it one time in front of Yaita & Katsuhiro and they started to shout like monkeys after seeing a magic trick.

– Ozaki's right arm often stings. It didn't heal well from the fracture.

– Ginji is touch-starved. Uses Tsutomu as an outlet. Putting his forehead on his shoulder blades or leaning against him. Putting an arm around his back, or putting his arms on his shoulders. Tsutomu doesn't mind.

– Pudding is actually a real bullet, he runs extremely fast. That's why he's able to escape Tsutomu most of the time.

– Hana is extremely skilled at calisthenics but bad at gymnastics (not flexible enough). He's a killer at rock climbing though.

– He's also weirdly skilled at reproducing animal shouts. Made everyone's eyes go wide when he started to sing like a bird. He also likes to bark for fun. (Makes Sakota jump real hard).

– Amachi's adoptive father is extremely kind. That's why he's able to get that much money in order to erase people's debts etc...

– Amachi has schizophrenia (because of PTSD), paranoia and extreme mood swings. He also lacks empathy but he laters works on it. The sight of Hana makes him terribly angry (it's mainly jealousy). He couldn't bear to see a man as strong as him be so carefree, so openly kind, instead of using his strength to dominate others (how he believed he'd survive in life).

– I also think Amachi has platinium blond hair. Stress and anxiety, wariness and anger wore the color out.

– Daitou has a fat crush on Amachi.

– Ichizen is colorblind.

– Akira is dyslexic.

– Bisuko also is dyslexic.

– Takumi has synesthesia (can see colors in letters).

– Guriko and Kurosawa have a thing going on but it's not exactly a situationship because they are willing to get together but Guriko is weird about it. It's exactly forced feminization (but a heteronormative brain too). There has to be a woman in their relationship (that's how it works, right?) and it sure as hell won't be Guriko. Kurosawa never complies though, of course. And it often ends up in a physical argument. In utter denial while still participating . He gets the idea though, when Kurosawa states that they're done and ignores him for weeks. Guriko gets so mad he can't talk to him he just tackles him one day. It goes downhill from then, but it gets better after.

– Tokio and Butcher have a situationship though.

– Mitsumasa has a typing record 90 words per minute. He's also the only of the four brothers who can speak English.

– Mitsuyoshi and Mashima are dating. (Housen knows its boundaries best. LMFAO)

– Teru knows how to sew. Sewed back multiple uniforms before he made people pay for it.

– Teru also has a countertenor singing voice.

That's about all (?), these are the ones that came to mind! That's still quite a lot, yeah... But it's fun, it's fun <3

trying a new thing where i write my ideas down and kind of journal about the writing process (spoilers for hate to see your heart break i guess lol)

ok actually i'm trying a lot of new things recently

sleeping without my phone in the room LOL i have to stop scrolling before i sleep

writing my ideas down on an actual notebook instead of letting them float around in my head

writing more than 1-2 scenes in a fic (it's been like… 6 months since i last did that or wrote something long enough LOL)

not pressuring myself to finish writing a fic in 1 sitting lol

i like to outline for longer fics, and when i type them out, they tend to be… loooooong. like i can write line per line of dialogue in the outline and i just fill in the introspection and movements but use the dialogue as a guide posts in the journey (which would have been helpful for all the monologues in this LOL but i digress…)

buuut because i was writing them down (usually before bed to tire myself out for sleep lol), it's more concise than usual:

i always love looking back at my outlines and realizing how much i deviated from it lol usually for the better… plans are nice but sometimes the beats just go an entirely different direction and i gotta respect the course the story wants to take. or sometimes i try sooo hard to stick to the outline but it gets me stuck for hoursss so i pivot and hope that it works out better.

OH MAN the central point of this fic was supposed to be the "can I kiss you?" line :( like the key part was the buildup of ange having to admit to herself that she wanted to cross that line and really see at him as a romantic partner :( :( that she was willing to fundamentally change how they interact with each other because the moment they kiss, she can't just write this off as a friend hangout or whatever :( :( :(

but i struggled so much even getting them to where they were at that point and after the monologue about his past relationships, it just flowed naturally to her realizing that she wanted to show him something better was possible for him— the same way he did for her and ahhhh idk…… the story took its own path and i must respect her autonomy 🙂‍↕️

also there are so many details that i didn't even end up adding to the actual fic lol… this happens all the time it's ~ world building ~ i guess

fave parts:

the hook/summary of the fic was lowkey a lightbulb moment, i started the outline AFTER i wrote the first scene bc i knew it was going to be a long one

writing changela banter is sooo much fun, the s/hitting on line still makes me giggle

freyja being fed w a spoon is based on my actual lazy princess cat 😭 she's not even old she's just soooo spoiled

most difficult to write:

uhhhh from the kitchen to the first kiss and ESPECIALLY how to end the fic 😭 i wrote and rewrote that part so many times before settling on the text. i'm really happy with how it ends though!

Paramore - Hate to See Your Heart Break → randomly came up on shuffle and the lyrics just got to me… i read the genius description and awww it can definitely be interpreted as a platonic kind of comfort, but for this fic i wanted it to be about them seeing each other struggle and thinking they could do better for each other. but not knowing for sure, ykwim? it's the line between friends and lovers that's always the most difficult to cross

anyway this (the actual writing and the talking about writing) was really fun for me! it's been ages since i was writing as regularly as i am now. also don't have a lot of time so i'm really just trying to enjoy the process! may or may not do this for future fics heh
