Opposites attract right? At least that’s what others seemed to deem as the explanation for your relationship. Sirius was in a category all his own as far as you were concerned, but that category was nearly the opposite of where people would place you. Sirius was a people person, it came so easily to him it was like he never even had to try. It annoyed you to no fucking end when you first met him.

Being a descendent of the most noble and ancient House of Black had its advantages. Like incredibly sharp cheekbones, beautiful alabaster skin that contrasted perfectly with onyx locks and eyes so deep and blue you could drown in them. Sirius exuded this energy that seemed to pull people towards him; like he had his own force field. He could walk into a room and everything shifted, like he breathed extra life into the area and everyone was desperate to live.

Most people when asked about you would say you were…short-tempered. Your housemates tended to steer clear of your presence. Which was fine with you because you were easily annoyed by most of them. Ravenclaws were known for being know-it-alls and truthfully you found it rather repugnant. Thankfully you had Pandora as company. Usually her overly sweet demeanor would drive you insane, but you knew more than the rest. Being a Rosier sorted into Ravenclaw essentially meant she was the black sheep of her family. But that seemed to be your soft spot.

Pandora would tease that this was why you started falling for Sirius. Despite your more grumpy demeanor, you were never quite as grumpy when it came to Sirius. Hearing the ins and outs of what was going on over breaks from Pan made you want to take care of him.

The first time Sirius brought you around the rest of the marauders it was not without sideways glances. “Er, Pads, you seemed to have picked up a shadow,” James nodded towards your frame just behind Sirius. “Sod off, Potter,” you’d grumbled, Sirius’s palm big and flat against your back moving in slow circles. “S’alright love, he’s just teasing. Be nice, Prongs or she’ll hex you into next week and I won’t be able to stop her.”

“Not that you’d try to stop her, would ya mate. I’m Remus, but all these miserable gits call me Moony,” Remus gave a small fingered wave as he plopped onto the couch ceremoniously. He would eventually turn into the one that’d help you gang up on Sirius, if ever needed.

On this particular night, though, you were feeling just…down. It wasn’t often you felt like this, despite outward appearances. However when this feeling did hit you, there was only one person that could fully get you out of it. You knew that the Gryffindors were having their annual Halloween party. Which meant if you wanted to find Sirius that’s where he’d be.

You had of course agreed to come to the party ages ago; much to do with Sirius begging and pouting his pretty pink lips and sucking you in with his pretty blue eyes. Sirius had insisted that costumes were required, “Even for an angel like yourself” which earned him a particularly large eye roll. Thus, you threw on some fishnet tights and a black minidress with your signature black boots. Atop your head a small pair of black cat ears, thanks to Pandoras charm work.

She was dressed as an actual angel, charmed halo floating above her nearly white blonde locks. Any muggle would think they were truly hallucinating if they would have seen her. You greeted the fat lady with the password, “Hiddlypunks,” and she swung open. Within the first few steps one would be none the wiser. But two steps into the commonroom and the barrier was broken, music and singing and murmuring filling the room.

“Drinks yes? Please yes,” you nodded at Pandora who found her way to to the drink table to create what you were hoping were very strong concoctions. You didn’t need to look around in order to find him. That magnetic pull leading you closer and closer until you heard the boisterous laugh of Sirius Black. You were quiet in your approach, not drawing any attention to yourself on purpose. Even though you yearned for his touch you knew how much he enjoyed entertaining and didn’t want to interrupt.

Remus spots you of course, the observant bastard. He throws a playful wink in your direction; you responding with a middle finger and a forced smile. Sirius is in the middle of recalling “a truly amazing play, great play” from the last quidditch match, but Remus’s low chuckle from your display of affection towards him causes your boyfriend to turn around in search of who could have possibly pulled attention away from him.

His furrowed brows disperse as you catch his sights and smile lights his face, “Well, hello there, Kitten.” You give a weak smile in response, “Hi Siri.” His brows are furrowed once more. The others try to greet you but immediately you’re swept away to a farther corner of the room. Sirius swirls his wand around you both, muttering a quick muffliato, coating you both in silence. “Okay, out with it what’s wrong?” Sirius’s hands were laid gently on your waist, head dipped down to force your avoidant eyes to keep contact with his. “Come now, pet. You know I can’t do anything without knowing what’s wrong,” he urged, giving your waist a small squeeze.

You met his eyes and yours immediately began to brim with tears. In an instant Sirius has engulfed you, one hand grasping your head and holding you close to his chest while the other wraps around your back, squeezing you as close to him as possible and hoping the pressure of his pull is soothing. His heart breaks ever so slightly at the muffled sobs against him. Your emotions seem to be everywhere but embarrassment is toping the list as you begin to pull away, aggressively wiping your face with the heel of your palms, hoping no one but Sirius is noticing you in this state.

"I-I'm sorry Siri, 've just..." you trailed off, choked breaths causing your intake of air to stutter. Sirius's touch has yet to cease, one hand cupping your cheek gently while the other finds solace in the dip of your waist, "Rough day, love?" You nod once, looking to the ceiling and willing any tears to fall back into your head instead of trailing down your face. "Alright, let's go," his head tilts towards the spiral staircase that would lead to his dorm.

You sniffle quickly, shaking your head, "N-no, I'll be okay. I'm not going to take you away from the party, Siri. Not gonna steal you from your friends like that." Sirius can't help but scoff, "Fuck my friends." You laugh a little at his brashness and the sound makes Sirius grin again, "There you are, love." He takes a quick peek over his shoulder, "Now. Let's just go tell the others we're going up, Remus will make sure we're left alone for a good few hours then, hmm?"

You nod, agreeing, knowing that there's no use in arguing with Sirius when he's made up his mind. His fingers laced with yours and the cool feeling of his rings are such a contrast the the heat in your body that it's calming. He gives your hand an extra squeeze as you approach the group. You decide to try and stay hidden behind Sirius, almost burying your face against his shoulder blade, barely peeking one eye out to see the others.

Sirius explains that he's feeling tired and wants to go back to the room with you. James does not look convinced in the slightest. He looks even more confused by your seemingly shy and reserved demeanor. He doesn't think he's ever seen you look so...vulnerable. Remus is the only person you make eye contact with and he gives you a simple wink and a nod. The reassurance from the smallest action making you sigh in relief.

It's almost like Sirius can feel you relax slightly, turning to you and asking if you're ready to go. You give a feeble nod and a shy wave to the others, most of which look a little skeptical but say no protests in return.

When you make it to his dorm Sirius immediately goes to his trunk, pulling out his favorite concert tee and handing it to you. You take off your outfit slowly, pulling his shirt over your head and letting it consume you, the additional scent of Sirius now enveloping your body and adding to your relief. Sirius changes himself and then pulls back the duvet, "In you go, pet."

You oblige, going and getting comfortable on your back. Sirius climbs in after you, crawling over your form and placing two soft kisses on either apple of your cheek before giving you the most gentle yet firm kiss. He rests his head against yours, asking you almost in a whisper, "D'you wanna talk about it?"

"No," your response so soft it would've been missed had it not been only you two in the room, "Will you just...lay on me?" Sirius kissed you softly once more, scooching down just enough to lay his head on your chest. He wrapped his arms around you, relaxing himself and allowing his full weight to now lay on top of you. The weight of your boyfriend was the grounding you needed, your breathing now finally able to even out.

So I see that a lot of YouTubers are getting around to reacting to the Young Justice cartoon. And that’s great! Like that’s actually great, it’s one of my favorite shows and I will forever chant season five in my head.

There’s only the teeny tiny voice in my head that keeps saying how bad it feels for Billy when his identity was revealed. I hope I’m wording this right. Cause I’m not saying I don’t absolutely love the show. It’s just…

Cause we never see the aftermath of the meeting in I think s1 ep22 where they choose who becomes a JL membrr(sry if I’m wrong). Like we know Billy gets to stay, but I just know it must’ve been hard to deal with teammates who didn’t trust him anymore. Who just see a kid. We have no idea what the relationship Billy has with the league was before the identity reveal. Who he was close with, who was suspicious of him, that sort of thing. We just know that after the reveal, everyone was really unsure of what to do with the magic child.

Imagine what was going through Billy’s head. The Wizard said he was worthy. Hell, the gods said he was worthy. And after years of fighting it, even he thought he was worthy. And then his heroes, his coworkers, push that all down and try to dictate his hero life. During identity reveal fics I also laugh at how they think they can stop his heroism when he’s the literal champion of magic. Like he HAS to be a superhero. You can’t just tell the Champion to quit.

You know what that does? That leads fucking Doctor Fate to your door. Zatanna. Specter. Hell, Lady Blaze. Even the beings who hate Cap know they need him. If they were to hear that some hero team from Earth was the reason for him to quit, they would go BALLISTIC.

Shit I went on a tangent.

Well anyway back to what I was saying before. We don’t see much of Billy’s relationship with the League after this episode. We do know his relationship with the covert team gets better, so that’s cool. But it just rubs me the wrong way how he was such an integral part of getting the adult and child worlds to collide and then they do this.

Idk that’s basically all I wanted to say. Again, I hope I worded this right. I love YJ, I just get a sense of dread when I see it😅.

hear me out, -- Reader is a member of Valerias cartel, -- they're in the higher ranks (im talking, one of the very few people that actually know who El Sin Nombre is, type of 'higher rank')

Reader is an absolute devotee. They (platonically, mostly) worship Valeria, cater to her every need, do whatever she'd like, whenever she'd like, no questions asked. Reader doesnt do it out of fear, that much is obvious. They just do it out of both respect and the far lack of both disobedience and a backbone.

Valeria, naturally, appreciates them, -- keeps them close, enjoys their company (mostly, because it feeds her ego, and makes her feel superior, -- in control, and whatnot) so much so, that reader is nearly permanently stuck being, somewhat of a 'personal assistant'.

Reader, being forced to spend all day (and, sometimes night, if Valeria needs some help with something) decides 'eh, why the fuck not' and asks Valeria out on a little hangout, disguised as a small 'meeting' in a coffee shop, that, ultimately, actually goes well, and spirals into a date.

(Date, naturally, ends with beating someone senseless in a dark alley, after they listened in on Readers and Vals conversation, or, .. something. Reader is, most definitely, doing all the damage, being a guard dog of sorts, not wanting Valeria to 'get her hands dirty, from such a small, unimportant man'. Not manner, man.)

Etc etc, girlfriends, lesbianism, boom. Work your magic, im bad at describing genuinly falling inlove.

Swans

Many species of birds mate for life. Penguins, corvids, vultures, and most famously: swans. Symbols of love, loyalty, and grace. They are creatures full of love. They're so sensitive that they can die from heartbreak. You stare at Valeria and understand how the swan feels. How it could hopelessly devote itself to another, even at the cost of it's life.

The quiet scratching of a pen fills in the silence. Valeria's brows are furrowed in concentration as she haunches over her desk. You want to remind her to straighten her back, so it doesn't hurt later. Your eyes greedily drink in her profile. The slope of her nose, the curve of her lips, her curtain of black hair slightly obscuring her cheek and eye.

She sighs.

"Get me a drink." She murmurs. You're to your feet immediately. Heading towards the small cabinet containing her alcohol. You've fixed her enough drinks to know what she wants. Your fingers wrap around the neck of a bottle with golden liquid. Pouring it into a small glass, then putting in exactly two small ice cubes.

You carry it over to her desk and set it down in the corner. You slink around behind her. Watching her take a sip. You can't see her face, but you know she's letting the liquid sit in her mouth to savour the taste. She does that with all of her drinks; savours the first sip.

You have no problem getting her drinks. Or doing her paperwork. Or taking a bullet for her. Valeria has been the one constant in your life. She's the only one who has ever noticed you, and you latched onto her like a leech. She fed you crumbs of kindness and that's all it took. It's obsessive and unhealthy but you're long past the stage of caring.

Valeria takes a second sip then goes back to working. Her shoulders look so tense. You want to rub that tension away, but you don't. It's late and you're feeling a little tired, but you'd never say so. You doubt Valeria cares and you don't want to distract her. Besides, she must be tired too. You'll go home when she does. For now, though, you wander back around the desk and sit down in one of the chairs off to the side.

You gaze at Valeria as she works. At some point without even realising it you fall asleep. Your body startles itself awake as that fact worms it's way into your subconscious. You aren't sure how long you've been dozing off for, but Valeria isn't in the room anymore. You sit up with urgency and look around, a small fleece blanket falls from your shoulders.

You furrow your brows, trying to remember if you put it on yourself. You know you didn't. You feel slightly giddy at the thought of Valeria doing it. As if just thinking her name summoned her, Valeria walks into the small office. Despite how tired she is her stride is still intense and confident.

She sits down with a grunt and glances at you.

"Good sleep?" She asks sarcastically.

"How long was I out for?" You murmur. Tugging the blanket into your lap. Valeria's hair is a little messy and you wish you could run your fingers through it. Or a brush. You just want to touch her hair.

"Fifteen minutes." Valeria replies. "You should go home and get some rest."

Fifteen minutes isn't that bad. You don't want to leave just yet though.

"No, I'm okay to stay for longer." You insist. "I could help you finish up the last of those reports."

Valeria shakes her head and when she speaks her voice sounds softer than usual. "You've been staying late for the past few weeks; I know you aren't getting the sleep you need. Go home."

You frown but concede. "Alright." As you're getting up an idea pops into your head. "Hey, could we meet at Ila's tomorrow? I just think I need some extra reminders about where all the trade routes are." You know every route and the exact location of them.

"Okay." Valeria agrees. "5PM."

The next day arrives and you're very impatient for 5PM. You finished all your tasks and went home early. It's not a date. Not to Valeria, but that doesn't mean you aren't going to treat it like one. You've picked out a nice, attractive outfit and touched up your makeup.

You arrived five minutes early and secured a table. Watching as patrons pass by. The smell of baked goods almost tempts you into buying something, but you don't want to eat before Valeria. Ever the punctual person, Valeria walks in through the glass doors at exactly 5PM. She looks very put together, hair brushed and glossy. She's even wearing different clothes.

Valeria sits down across from you and gives you a small smile that sends fireworks throughout your body. You want to trap that smile in a jar like a firefly. Valeria reaches into her bag and pulls out a folded, yellowed map and sets it up on a table. She begins to quietly and intently explain where each route is and where the shipments go.

You nod and hum, pretending to listen. You're much more focused on Valeria's hands as she points at places on the map. Her neatly trimmed pink nails and fingers. Ine of them is slightly crooked from having been broken one too many times. Her skin looks soft and if you try hard enough you can smell her lotion.

"-and this is when we split it into smaller batches to move it across the border."

You point to Mackey Hill.

"Here?" You ask. Already knowing the answer.

"Yes." She nods. You glance up behind her for a split second and watch some scruffy looking man quickly turn away. Immediately you straighten and stare at him. You don't like the vibes he's giving off.

Valeria furrows her brows at you.

"What's wrong?" She asks quietly. You lean closer and whisper back.

"I think that man is eavesdropping."

Valeria turns her head to look at the man, narrowing her eyes. You feel pleased that she trusts your word so strongly.

"Get rid of him." She commands.

You slip out of your spot and approach him. He startles as you lean down and murmur in his ear.

"Follow me. My boss has a proposition for you." You walk towards the doors and cast a look behind you. He's staring at you nervously but eventually rises.

You wait behind the brick wall and wait. Sure enough the man rounds the corner. Looking at you with a mixture of caution and curiosity.

"What was the-" He's cut off by Valeria hitting him in the back of the head. He grunts and falls to his knees. You strike him this time. Kneeing him in the face. He opens his mouth to scream but you cover it before he can.

You drag him deeper into the alley and fish out the small blade hidden in your boot. You make quick work of slitting his throat. He makes an awful gurgling sound before going still. Valeria helps you lift him into the nearby dumpster. Your fingers brush and you look at each other.

You've been loyal to her for years. Since before she even came into power. Through thick and thin you've stuck by her side. You've thrown yourself in harm's way to protect her without thought. You've spent countless hours staring at her intently but now your gaze is being returned tenfold. There's a new fire in those dark inky eyes. One you've only caught glimpses of. But here it is, in all it's blazing glory and it's directed at you. Scorching and all consuming.

His body thumps dully as he falls among the full trash bags but neither of you are paying attention to him anymore.

"Why don't we go get something to eat?" Valeria murmurs softly. "I'm sure you'll have an easier time getting the routes with a full stomach." Her hand creeps towards yours and your fingers tangle with hers. You've done more than feed her ego, you've carved out a place in her heart for yourself.

i'm the same anon who asked abt the tattoo, so. you can be as controversial as you want, but could i ask why taivan is not as prominent/noticeable in comparison to shaunahat, or fanon ships? like, your opinion. because, genuinely, as much as i see their scenes and ppl cheering for them, idk, it's not as HARD and LOUD if that makes sense. thank you in advance!

I dunno about controversial--I'm never actively trying to be a shit-starter, I just. My honest take is twofold. One, people are definitely being steered by racism. I mean, I see that just in the way Jasmin is constantly under fire no matter what she does or says. This is a biracial Black queer person (noticed recently she's operating with she/they pronouns, playing in the gender sandbox, and good for them) who is clearly always working so hard to better their world and be a voice for the various minority groups she inhabits, and I feel like I'm just constantly seeing people be awful to and about them. Like, constantly finding excuses to set her aside, or send her the worst messages in the world, and I'm just like. Let this person live, for the love of Christ. The inability to not take unearned ownership of someone else's journey is...insane to me, but I feel like I see it constantly with her. So to have Taissa be this incredibly complex Black woman who is not always likeable, not soft and sweet and constantly striving for other people's approval--yeah, I'm not surprised the fandom ignores her. Furious! Always furious about it! But not surprised.

Van, too, gets set aside an awful lot, and that's obviously not about racism (although the interracial couple aspect is there). I think people are...so volatile about Van in ways that will never make sense to me. Half the time people are calling her a villain, the other half they're calling her boring, and in both cases, those people are just not watching the same show I am. Liv's performance is so nuanced and so carefully escalated, and Lauren is following suit; there is so much going on with this character, with Taissa's character, with their growth together and apart, and...yeah, I dunno, man. I think it's a lot of what Tai says onscreen in season one. They're not what people expect, or what people want them to be, so they get written off as "boring" or less appealing than the noncanon ships. Some of it is the racism, some is the complicated nature of gender and Van's butch qualities, and none of it makes sense to me because those aspects are so much of what I love about Taivan as a ship. Like. They are so real, so multifaceted, so good and so toxic for one another at the same time, and they are played by 3/4ths (at least, I don't know Ambrose's life) openly, proudly queer actors. DUDE. For me, that's the fucking dream.

THAT SAID. My other thought is a lot simpler. And that's just: what happens in canon belongs to the writers, and we get to share it. What happens in fanon belongs solely to fandom. The fanon interpretations of characters can be worlds away from the actuality of those characters onscreen, and I think there's a freedom there that a lot of people really love. Subtext has been the bread and butter of queer audiences for so long that I think a lot of viewers just naturally feel more comfortable in that space, reading between lines and making up the necessary filler as they go. It doesn't hurt that a lot of these characters are white and/or conventionally attractive, but I think it's more to do with...not needing to put the canon of it all at the forefront. Like I love Jackie/Shauna, I love Lottie/Nat, I live for Shauna/Lottie--but they're all subtextual relationships, to various degrees, and so I can just sort of...do whatever with them in stories, so long as I'm feeling the characters out. I personally have a preference for writing fic as close as I can to existing character profile/voice, but that's not for everyone, and I've noticed a lot of the fanon-born ships are...not simpler, necessarily, but simplified. Which, in turn, makes them more palatable. I dunno. I get it! I do. But I will never understand throwing aside the canon queer ship in favor of subtext. That just...ain't my bag.

And then I guess there's a third, less prominent idea of like. Who's the main character of the show? If you had to boil it all down, it's Shauna. She's the POV character, if we have one, from the start. So not only do you have the freedom of fan interpretation, but she's front and center a lot of the time just by the nature of the narrative. And then Natalie is probably the next "main" character, so...that speaks for a lot of the louder ships, I suppose. I'd really love to see more attention on Taissa for the same reason, since she's been at the front from the beginning, but...see above, i guess.

When you wake up in the morning, you can't seem to find Sirius in his usual spot next to you. You assume he's probably just getting washed up, or making a pot of tea for when you woke up.

You pull yourself out of bed, heading to the bathroom to brush your teeth and wash your face before heading downstairs. You expect to hear the whistling of the kettle, or maybe a little ding from the bread toaster, but you were met with silence. Brushing it off, you continued making your way down the stairs.

However, when you reach the kitchen and still have no sight of Sirius, you feel something off. Never has there been a day where he hasn't been all over you within five minutes of you waking up.

You start thinking the worst.

What if he left you? For good?

Your heart sinks when you see a folded piece of parchment on the kitchen island. Next to it is his wedding band.

THIS IS FOR FUN but my ideas for Leo and Danny in the Outlast Trials

Notes:

_uhh so Leo is gonna be depicted as a real person in this since originally I was gonna make it where he was in the frisbee puppet talking to Danny; but that would literally just be a Mother Gooseberry rip off. So please keep this in mind

_this isn’t an AU or a fanfic, this is purely just for fun, and I probably will never mention it again. But if for some reason one of yall likes this idea or wants to add onto it FEEL FREE 😛😛😛I am not gonna get into detailed stuff

_ALSO some of the info might be kinda sloppy and wrong since I am rushing to make this but I might come back and edit a few things so imagine this just as a draft. Also my writing is not good in general so this is not formatted well at all

(Danny and Leo as Prime Assets)

So far I really do not have a story for how they would even show up in the trials HELP or why they qualified to be prime assets instead of EX POP(personally, it would be more interesting to see manhunt 1&2 gang members as ex pop rather then the man characters) since this is really not supposed to be a big thing, so for a placeholder I will just say The Project sold them to Murkoff for testing FOR WHAT? Idk. Murkoff and The Project seem to have a lot of similarities with their experiments, especially when relating to MKultra, so they would either be rivals or best buds. 

You cannot really separate Danny and Leo (angels….) so for their trials they will both be present. HOWEVER, it’s not gonna be like both of them at the same time, one will retreat out of the trial and the other one will come back out a little later. So this is really nothing like prime time, but towards the end I think it would be cool if they both were released. Since the prime assets all have some sort of quirk for their attacks (EX: Coyle disables your rig and Mother Gooseberry causes bleeding) I think (SORTA) Danny and Leo would cause the regents' night-vision goggles to shut off temporarily. Danny, and especially Leo, both work better in the dark, so they probably have an easier time navigating through it, the reagent cannot however. The night-vision goggles are super important since most of the areas in the trials can be pitch black, SO I feel like this would be a really fucked up thing to happen, possibly a BIT TO overpowered but the shutdown wouldnt be very long. For the special traps for their level I really do not know HELP maybe louder sound traps(?)

For their trials there would be two. One mainly focused on Danny and the other more focused on Leo but they will both still be in it. Their trials will also both be in different parts of a knock off version of Dixmor Asylum, where the player will either start off leaving a cell or be entering from the front door. The decorations in the asylum will be based off which one of them its for (Danny’s would have furniture similar to the ones he has in his head, etc) :

Danny’s trial will focus on his memories. The reagent will be told to burn files containing some information Danny would need if he ever wanted to remember his past life. The reagents start off will collecting keys UGHHHH and have to use them to find different file boxes to throw into a pile alongside a victim who is dressed up as Mrs. Lamb HELP HELP. You then find gas canisters THIS IS BORING SORRY GUYS and through the speaker you can hear Danny actively growing more and more upset until towards the end where you light the pile (and victim) on fire, where he grows completely frantic. I will make this more detailed later maybe maybe maybe scratches chin

Leo’s trial would be centered around the Pravitas where the reagents will push a victim through the experiments Leo was subjected to back when the project had him 😭!!!! The victim starts with the top of his head being removed and exposing their brain (keeping them alive) and will be placed in different machines that either need keys or parts to continue so yes this is a Kill the Snitch x Pervert the Futterman sort of thing I am lazy. Leo would **probably** take this as being mocked so he gets kinda loud about it, and towards the end when the Victim is killed, he grows completely unintelligible. 

Prime Time:

Gooseberry and Futterman would probably NOT like Leo. She would sorta treat him how he treats Coyle, claiming he should not be around the children, while she treats Danny a bit more kinder. Leo shares similar feelings, especially towards Futterman, claiming he finds the voice Gooseberry puts on for him to be god awful. Danny would be nice, talking about her to Leo until Leo is like SHUT UP DANNY

Coyle really likes the idea that Leo was an assassin, and likes how vulnerable Danny is RUN GUYS. Leo TRIES to talk to Coyle probably to try and negotiate his way into getting a cigarette while Danny just keeps his distance.

An analysis of alcemy for the Magnus Protocol!

I have just finished the episode I have found a list of alchemical symbols let's fucking gooo baby. Just to clarify it is my belief these are the new entities. I know it would probably be better if they were less rigidly defined but I love sorting things and am hyped!!! This is going to be long so strap in (not all of those though they're just to illustrate)! I am so sorry if you use dark mode (like me!) these images are almost all transparent.

1: Mercury!

Referring to both the metal and the planet, go wild. Mercury is all about transcending boundaries as it's kind of both a solid and a liquid (it's not but whatever), specifically the boundary of life and death, possibly even transcend death. That seems relevant. Also related to snakes so if snakes show up... probably mercury. Also if we ever get some sort of white queen in a chess way? Mercury. It also represents the mind, or spirit maybe? It's got a lot going on. Colin said it'd make the world end. Fuck yeah probably why not.

2: Salt

This is one that is not included on one list I have but is on the other. I'm not guaranteeing all of these are significant I'm finding it hard to find a definite list. If you look into just all the alchemical symbols they've got loads and I doubt they're all significant. Anyway. Salt is the physical body in this trifecta (we'll come onto that). Very to do with physicality, the body, honestly might manifest in a few ways similar to the Flesh. Also to do with purification? In general but also 'purifying' the body which I think medieval people meant in a good way but sounds evil to me. There is also of course, seperate to the whole alchemy thing, salt circles and all that. You've seen supernatural you know what I'm talking about. Although that's also to do with purification.

3: Sulphur

Or sulfur, if you are American. This one's actually got a few different symbols but let's go with this one for now. Honestly, and I know we shouldn't be comparing these to the TMA entities, but this one's pretty desolation. It's all dry heat and masculine destructive energy. Yeah this one's 'masculine' and mercury's 'feminine' for some reason, I doubt that will come up. Which I guess makes salt non-binary. This is the red king, too. This is the soul in the 'tria prima', Mercury, salt and sulphur, which were the three first elements apparently, and also cause disease? Idk. That might be relevant. Hell's meant to smell of sulphur, that tells you most of what you need to know. Again, we've all seen Supernatural. Colin said something about this making you go mad. I think yeah sure but less spiral-type mad more slaughter-type mad.

4: Air

Right, onto the four basic elements. These all have a humour related to them too and air has blood for some reason. Air is life and light and God and passion and all that good shit. I have to imagine it's gonna have some vast shit going on too because I don't think Jonny can help himself, but it's also to do with being changable and generally quite nice. Oh also ideas and creativity. All that good shit!

5: Earth

Basically the opposite of air. The 'masculine counterpart' as all these websites keep saying. It's associated with salt, which makes sense, and is all about stillness and being grounded and again, I feel like there's going to be some buried attributes in there. It's got the humour black bile which is all about sadness and shit. Most of the four basic elements are fairly self-explanatory.

6: Fire

You know what fire does. Passion, emotion, love and hate and all that. Although honestly in an alchemical way fire seems to be more emotional. So far (and I am writing these as I look into them) if you want something based around physical destruction you're gonna wanna look at sulphur. Its humour is yellow bile.

7: Water

Water, humour is phlegm, connected to mercury, honestly alchemically I can't find anyone having much to say about it but y'know. It's water. BUT I HAVE THINGS TO SAY ABOUT WATER. Okay so this has gotta be the deep, right? The whole mix of the buried and the vast thing with the sea? That killed the girl Alice saw? Or at least was involved with the death. It's all very water.

8: Lead

Right, onto planetary metals! Which Mercury kind of also was but hey ho. So, Lead is associated with Saturn. So, alchemists believed that lead was the base metal, that all other metals were just lead that had turned into something else. Which means it's really important but also kinda sucks, and is why people kept trying to make it into gold. So lead is also to do with change but also kind of purity as they thought it 'purified' into gold. Also associated with the Roman god Saturn/Greek god Chronos, who are both to do with time so that might be involved.

9: Tin

To do with the planet Jupiter. It seems to be connected to wisdom and maturity and education and all that. BUT ALSO. It is connected to Lady Mowbray, hell yeah. Because I watched a video about the arg and noted that on the back of Lady M's assistant's clipboard or whatever is this symbol which I recognised at the time as Jupiter! Now. What does tin have to do with dogs and eating people. As far as I can tell fuck all. I thought I'd misremembered for a moment and it was actually the Saturn symbol because that would work with cannibalism at least but no Lady Mowbray seems to serve... tin. Which is kind of funny. I get the connection to nobility at least, Jupiter is king of the gods after all, but as far as I know he doesn't hunt people with dogs? Idk.

10: Iron

Related to Mars and, as I'm sure you can tell, men. Because these fuckers loved gender. Similar to fire it's all about anger and passion, but also seeing as Mars is the god of war I don't think it's beyond belief we've got something similar to the slaughter on our hands here.

11: Gold

Connected to the sun and therefore does not have a classical god I can interpret. Damn. Maybe Apollo? Gold is about having gay lovers. No. So gold's big thing is that it doesn't corrode. Something about staying as you are, the opposite of Air's changability, sort of similar to earth... I could make something out of this.

12: Copper

Well hello ladies. Copper actually has a cooler symbol but I suspect we're sticking with these. Connected to Venus, obviously, which is all about attractiveness and desirability because copper is a very pretty metal. Personally, I would say episode 2 is to do with copper. I don't know if ink5oul themself is (I think they might sort of span entities) but what's her name from the episode and her obsession with looking good seems very copper to me. I know I'm not sorting all these episodes (yet! I have to relisten first) but this one jumped out at me. Copper is also to do with love, of course. I feel like one reason maybe the desire theory got so big is a lot of alchemical elements are to do with love and desire, so that just sort of bled through?

13: Silver

That's right, it's the moon! Very to do with mystery and weird shit. I think if you get the non-literal elements of The Dark you've got Silver. Also keeps away evil, again, Supernatural. Although it also has to do with tides so I think there is a very small chance that actually this is the Deep? I doubt it though.

14: Antimony

So I wasn't going to do the mundane elements because they're less likely to be important (you'll see) but some of them are really interesting! I might not do them all. Anyway, antimony is about the wild and animalistic side of human nature, and is to do with wolves. That remind you of anyone? A certain... aristocratic milf? I know she's connected to tin but it should be antimony okay??

15: Arsenic

Arsenic is cool, we all know it. It's my mum's favourite element on the periodic table. Anyway. Swans? It's to do with swans. Apparently it transforms its appearance like a cygnet to a swan. It also fucking kills people which I'm not convinced the alchmists were aware of.

16: Bismuth

Nobody knows what they were doing with bismuth. RIP. Also, I don't know my astronomy but that is taurus. Does that mean anything? I looked into the metal; it's quite pretty and people get it mixed up with tin.

17: Magnesium

Oh boy. It's hard to extinguish once it's lit, so it represents eternity! That's gotta be something babyy! Some combination of the end and the vast and all that.

18: Phosphorus

They thought phosphorus trapped light. I know it's easy to say this from a modern perspective but alchemists were fucking dumb. I feel like I could disprove this. But they were the first scientists so we have to be nice to them I guess...

19: Platinum

Supposedly a combination of gold and silver, hence the symbol. Possibly something about being bound to something... idk.

20: Potassium

Or potash. Didn't seem to have much historical context. But I believe it has very important modern context.

21: Zinc

They burned zinc to get what they called 'white snow'. You fucking idiots snow is already white.

That's it! Honourable mention to horse dung, which is a more obscure element but gets its own symbol and everything.

also soap and urine and all sorts of shit so I think we should stop there. What have we learnt? Possibly nothing! One of these has got to be to do with plants - I assume earth? That would make sense. One's something to do with luck from the sounds of things and I have no idea what that is, hopefully someone knows more about alchemy than I do for that. There's definitely some sort of watcher and I think either that's the eye crossed into this dimension or possibly mercury? I don't think the names are going to be these because honestly imagine Lady Mowbray being like hey I serve Tin. She's probably going to say Jupiter but we all have to know in our heart of hearts. It's just fucking tin. I am very tired I am going to bed.

Hmm... another depiction of the winged lion with horns. Also, there was no need to bring up the black magic. Marcille used a regular resurrection spell, just using ancient magic to boost the power level. If the dragon hadn't been soul-bound by Thistle, it would have gone without a hitch. People like to joke Marcille did nothing wrong, but in this one case, I think she was totally in the right. There is plenty of time for her to commit war crimes later.

I know people dunk on Toshiro a lot, but I really have to question his relationship with his retainers if a simple thank you and sorry elicits this sort of reaction. Honestly, I mostly get the impression that his dad isn't great, and Maizuru is too loyal to do anything about it.

I also have to wonder why he left Asebi behind. Did he just not want to bother? Or is he rethinking his whole relationship with his retainers, and is offhandedly giving her her freedom?

For me, I think the story of Peredur came first and Chrietien based Perceval on that. Idk. To me, that just seems more plausible. It's a barebones kinda first draft thing and Chrietien fleshed it out and included The Grail.

If you could re-write Jasper but keep 2 things about him, what would you keep? Besides appearance and gift! How would you explore this new version of Jasper?

For me, I'd keep his army past and Alice. But I'd explore how he changes over time and comes to realize how bad being on the Confederate side & being racist is. (I think you get it I'm trying to keep this short.)

Such as what makes him change and how he copes with his new understanding, and y'know the whole process of that.

Ofc, she comes into play too, maybe she's the catalyst that gets him to thinkin' about the topic at the surface, but it eventually goes deeper as she overtime explains things to him, and he thinks further on his own. IDK BRO I'm just thinking and wanted to read what you'd do. {Have a discussion.}

I'd change him shacking up w/ the Cullens though...or maybe their relationships with each other. I'd love to explore everything basically around canon while still being divergent to an extent. (Canon Related?)

I wouldn't rewrite anything, I'll just play it differently, I'll give it a nice depth.

I've always been on the side that just rewrite or ignore Jasper's confederate past is- not ideal. Yeah it's okay for a silly little comfort fic with your favorite vampire but not when talking about his actual canon characterization.

I would keep him serving for the Confederate army. I know a lot of people don't like that about him, but, I think it's a huge part of his character but there was something lacking there.

And what was missing is guilt.

Jasper, as to how he is written, and how we see the scenes of his past are played on both the book and the movie makes him look like he wasn't ashamed of his racist past or that he was even still prideful for it.

And it's so weird for me, how could this man who spent a century long depression, a self described "monster" a "nightmare" that just floods with self loathing couldn't feel guilty for not only taking someone's life but their freedom?

How could he feel guilty over killing the newborns but not black people? It doesn't make sense and it makes it worse, it makes you think that he, in modern times, it's still a confederate and also because vampires are "mentally frozen." He's not changed that much really then.

(I think Jasper lacking guilt and remorse about these fact about him is because of SM and her own views she not so subtlety spread all over her books though.)

So yes, I am keeping him as an ex-confederate soldier. Jasper was 17 so we are just to assume he was ignorant, and that's okay, we can live with an ignorant white boy for now. I cannot stress enough about how there is no need to make mental flips and splits to justify this choice of thinking in a 17 y/o southern boy from the 1840's. But, he gets to change, he, after the first years of him killing the newborns reflects about this, he might not be completely educated but he has the spirit.

Now let's talk about Alice.

I love her, but, if we are really analysing this then her and therefore the rest of the Cullens (because they welcome her and Jasper on their family) are okay with Jasper serving for the confederacy and I don't like that.

Why did Alice make him feel hope and all this shit and get him to change and learn a new life but didn't make him reflect on that maybe, perhaps, fighting for the enslavement of an entire race wasn't a good thing to do.

She says "you'll never be that again." referring to him being a vampire killing machine, not a racist, may I remind y'all.

So, I think the change would be about Alice teaching him things, Jasper spent so much time with Maria and then he was seriously depressed, I get the idea he wasn't interested on- going outside besides to feed from humans.

I think there are two types of vampires, those who love seeing humanity grow and change and come up with all these little inventions and then the ones who just see humans as prey.

Alice being the first and Jasper the second, but not for long after he meets her.

I think Alice could update him about the modern world that was the 50's, she would educate her that yes, Jasper's gentlemanly ways are charming and make her blush and giggle but there are some comments that aren't okay, just because in "his time" it was "okay", "funny" or "right", to say these things doesn't make them less offensive, dismissive and hurtful.

Alice would ask Jasper what did he felt while serving? And why? Was he even fully aware of what he was fighting for? Did the years of him seeing countless human's fight and go to wars that got bloodier and more destructive made him stop and think about the damage of his own army career?

Make the man reflect. Make him think for days and days about these questions he asked himself but never truly took the time to answer them. I need Jasper to have a slight mental breakdown before he gets to know the more peaceful life with the Cullens and Alice.

Alice asked these questions in her endless curiosity, not in innocence, but rather to know Jasper, really know him and understand him.

I want him to feel disgusted about having to feed from humans now that he realizes how much harm he did, and that's were the Cullens come in, Alice knows about her new family of course and it's more than excited to know her mate wants this life too, not because oh he's so in love with her he'll do anything (he is) but because he wants to change.

Carlisle let's him stay because he knows this, he understands in a way and he can't help but sympathize with him and Alice wanting to change herself and help her partner.

But Jasper can't fully because his body is asking him to kill constantly. He doesn't want to keep harming people, but his body can't forget, not only his body it's scarred as a reminder, but there's this annoying bloodlust that doesn't want to go away just yet.

But he has Alice, holding his hand and make him feel like everything will be alright.

Jasper is struggling but he is changing, he is getting more and more mental peace, finally, after a century and a half. It's slow, it's painful but it's there, self forgiveness and change.

One of the things that I love, a concept, Jasper being into philosophy, history and just literature, him loving to learn.

I love that in Breaking Dawn Jasper wanted to help Bella with her thirst. And of course I love him being hurt when she's way more successful than he is after so many years.

Seeing someone who you share the same experiences is so amazing, it helps you, but seeing them overcome this challenges that you also endure it brings you down on such a horrible way, it hurts you, but it makes you think of who you were before and how much you have accomplished. How much you've changed and that's my take on Jasper Hale.

Also, I think I would change vampires not being able to sleep or cry, I think Jasper deserves both, as a treat :). I love him.

Yeeeeahhhh!!! okay I have admittedly way more thoughts about Cobb Avery than Z'Oiseau so while I do think the latter is a super fascinating character who I definitely need to spend more time mulling around in my head, we're going with Mr. Ender here for now. Maybe if I wind up with extra time later tonight I'll revisit this for the spooky blackbird man.

First impression: WHAT A COOL DUDE. I mean, watching the music video was one of the very first things that clued me in to the existence of the lore and it's nice that it's mostly a self-contained little mini-story that tells us so much about him in under 5 minutes. Big fan of our undead revenge murder hero living out everyone's not-so-secret fantasy to just fucking kill the rich bastards who ruined your life. Relatable.

Impression now: I mean same, but now I've also had a whole lot of time to consider all of the social and political and cosmic horror implications so it just only gets better. It's not just an undead dude coming back to kill Andrew Winthrop. His is ultimately a story about a working class man from a colonized and marginalized population of people in this country gains mystery cosmic horror powers to take power back into the hands of those people. People much better-educated than I on Chicano history have written extensively about US colonization in the regions that were formerly Mexico until their land was stolen from them, and so Cobb Avery's story, while set in the... 1950s? sort of? also has extremely strong echoes of the outcome of the Mexican-American War in the 1800s, and meanwhile extends the power fantasy out beyond him to the gang he has assembled which particularly in the film are shown mostly to be working-class nonwhite folks (and certainly mostly Latino but not exclusively) who have suffered from discrimination, deportation, racism and lynching and so many other awful fates throughout our country's history, and it's those people now who have been able to build something for themselves that puts the power to destroy back into their hands with Cobb Avery as a sort of dark folk hero.

idk I think about this a lot. I'll stop. I'm bordering on that other essay I threatened to write.

Favorite moment: Man.... so many. But the one I personally find really really satisfying in the music video at least is when the one girl stabs him and he just sort of smiles, and it's at that point they realize this dude is the best thing to ever happen to them and they are now ride or die for him and his cause. Coming together to defeat capitalism under the banner of a freaky undead guy.

But runner up in terms of how deeply intrigued I am is when Buck smacks into him in the movie and just gets temporarily flung into his own future in that dark forest after he's been black-brained. Cobb Avery what the fuck are you, man. Like what REALLY are you. I have a lot of thoughts and a lot of questions.

Idea for a story: I have an unfinished WIP that isn't really a story with any real plot but a reflection by Johnnie (so far, other character POVs would work here too) about how it feels to have this nonhuman creature living in their midst. This thing in human shape that was human once but is definitely not quite human now. I really love exploring the idea of Avery returned as someone who has very little grasp on who he once was except for the memories that drove him to revenge, and that somehow that scrap of humanity is filled out by the sort of dark World Ender entity that he is now a part of. More cosmic horror, and the gang as cultists who take his eagerly granted permissions for chaos and violence and just run with it. But because I don't have any actual plot I probably won't figure out how to finish writing this.

Unpopular opinion: Once again I don't think there are enough opinions in general for me to have one that's unpopular here. I think we all agree that whatever he is, the dude is a badass.

Favorite relationship: Not with any particular individual but with the gang as his thriving band of trouble, almost a force of nature themselves that spills forth not to exactly follow his instructions but simply to interpret his desire for destruction in however they like. But also, then, their reliance on each other as a family, with him at the center as some sort of inscrutable nonhuman leader they're in between respecting and worshiping, and how he meanwhile molds them into what he wants them to be by selecting leaders to serve directly under him and letting them loose. It's not a hierarchy it's a miasma. Found family but extra fucked up.

Favorite headcanon: I guess particularly my interpretation of what he is now, as being something much less human and probably slipping farther and farther away from it, except for those core retained memories that drove his revenge. Maybe he's soft for someone every now and then who reminds him of his wife, or daughter, but never in a way where that person could really be close to him or get to know him as a person, because he is a fraction of a much larger and older thing that sees them as a means to an end at best, and as little more than bugs to be occasionally herded otherwise. More alien, more monstrous, while he slicks back his hair and enjoys a cigarette and appears on the surface to be just another guy.

The First Impression:

Sebek is... Sebek. He can be a little hard to get through to at times, even if his core intentions are good. And he doesn't exactly leave a good impression on a lot of people... not that he means to. Perhaps it's your bluntness, or your nonchalant attitude towards him, but for whatever reason, he doesn't immediately write you off.

Why He Fell:

You guys will kill me for this but Sebek is a little cutie. A little fanboy. He's also jumping up and down like wawawawa when he gets excited. He has a lot of growing to do, but if there's anything admirable about him, it's that once you're close to him, he will care about you forever. (Whether he'd like to admit that or not).

Though, truly, he admires you. You're obviously intelligent, you're honest (AKA blunt, but so is he), you have experience in martial arts... somehow, he finds himself watching his tone more around you, and shelving his boisterous, over-confident persona.

The Relationship:

No touching, no problem. Sebek is already getting used to this whole "dating" thing (not that he can't handle being eternally devoted to another person... look at the guy), and he might even breathe a sigh of relief when you say you don't have to sleep in the same bed.

Sebek is... protective, and that's an understatement. He loves people fiercely, and isn't shy about it. You can expect lots of attention and worry and care, especially as someone who gets sick a lot. He will insist on doing everything for you. He'll make an attempt to keep you on task when you need it, too, though he might not be as great at preventing you from overexerting yourself (as he is with himself!)

Backstory

Not everything is set in stone but these are just some ideas I have

Obviously, Elliott was born a girl and for the most part was fine except that they felt more masculine on the inside while still enjoying feminine stuff

elliott was also known to be pretty fragile (ik very cliche) so he picked up sewing to pass the time but eventually starts to like it

I have no idea how elliott would become a vampire tbh, so if u have any ideas, lmk

anyways, what made elliott realized that he’s a man was a nice tailor he met when he was window shopping

he and the tailor became good friends and later he learned that it was ok to be a man while accepting his femininity

I should note that he met the tailor after becoming a vampire

He soon became a sort of assistant/apprentice and continue on doing so for every generation pass down

At one point, the tailor built a separate room for Elliott so kinda like a studio but adding a bedroom in the same room bc they learned that Elliott never really comes out of the shop (at this point, lives in the shop)

madam red and her husband were one of their regulars so elliott had some sort of attachment with them

The two met shortly after grell became a full ledge reaper and basically elliott was like “omg you are the one I need for this outfit I’m working on” and particularly pushed grell to their tailor to try on the outfit and omg grell looked so pretty

after that, grell would frequently stop by at the shop during closing hours bc she’s aware that that’s when elliott is pretty much active (she doesn’t know they’re a vampire yet)

it would mostly just grell talking about her work and complaining while elliott measures her for his next week or making the outfit has he actively listens

nothing really changes once the two learn of each other’s true nature but it just made the two fell of each other even more

well… for elliott. it takes grell even longer to kinda realize it

bc grell had always fancy other men, it made elliott somewhat jealous and insecure of himself for not fully being the man she wanted

which somewhat led to having the worst gender dyphoria of his life

grell later catches on and basically realizes that elliott was the man she wanted all her life

bc he did not care about the fact that she used to be a man, and loved her as a women and treated and cared for her like one

she realizes that elliott was basically treating her the way she has always dreamed of, for who she is inside and outside

buuuttt it took a while for her to get to elliott bc he was so emotionally closed off

this is where madam red comes in, she was sorta the stepping stone to help grell realizes elliott's pining love for her

she also helped grell by telling elliott that the commission was from someone she knows very well

anyways, elliott just made the dress as he was told only to find out that the person that madam red was talking about was grell and grell basically was like "sooo.... i didn't realize how much i was hurting you and i didn't really mean it..." (idk how to write this without making her out of character)

grell put on the dress and basically fell in love with elliott even harder and basically confessed her love to him by hugging and kissing him (yes in those cartoon fashion ways where lipstick stains was all over elliott's face as he gots heart eyes)

after that, elliott slowly becomes more open with his life and his emotions with grell

he does eventually learn that just because grell fancy other men, doesn't mean she feels any sort of romantic feelings towards them

it doesn't fully stop with elliott possessiveness and jealously towards other men but it wasn't as bad as before

pov: elliott grips grell's waist and basically says "trying to eye my lovely grell aye?" as grell shivers at the possessiveness in elliott's tone

when elliott meets sebastian, the jealously went somewhat off the roof

he was relieve when sebastian verbally shows that he isn't intersted in grell

but elliott was still jealous of him bc sebastian is partically elliott's dream masculinity (if you know what i mean)

it took some time for elliott to open about it with grell and when he did, grell basically spoils him for the rest of day

also yes, elliott does drink blood from grell and ofc grell enjoys it, a little too much but hey, it's a win win for the both of them

elliott did not fully liked the idea of sucking off from other people before he met grell

he still doesn't but he wouldn't mind if it's grell bc he loves her and she enjoys it

Trying to make myself OC post more so under the cut is all my current stories / OC groups and short “descriptions” (not rlly I’m just talking) on them, alphabetical of course (also it’s long!! But labeled so like, if u actually read it u can skip around pretty easy I believe):

4Corners

An older dream that I wanted to return to for making a new story cuz I wanted new stories and new OCs cuz I like to play. With my toys. From my brain. But anyway 4Corners is named like that cuz there’s 4 sections/big cities of this world where they line up together like a cube (I guess the world would be a cube then…) and each section is like a different dimension almost. There is the aliens section with a pink sky and hazy atmosphere with buildings all stacked together, the human section that is more like a “typical” IRL city bit very tall in buildings as well, another alien section that the sky is white/hazy and they have more technology and a ruler, and then the mystery zone that I need to work on. The main character is like, Ben 10 sort of? Idk how to explain it but he’s a human who for some reason transforms into an alien-like form for unknown reasons. And the other character is a human that was raised in the (pink) alien section. They will cross into each others sections and also like, battle with the leader of the (white) alien section. Still very rough! It’s an old dream so it’s been a while!

A Black Catharsis

I mentioned before, this is my story that I converted from my Ash TS4 save to be an actual OC story and not a gameplay. Malachi of course is the MC and so far what I have is his backstory (still working out some timeline details tho) and then some key events from my gameplay. It’s still about Black vampires eating racists 💁🏽‍♂️. It’s also a specific revenge tale as well - one of Malachi’s main goals is to kill the vampire who caused his turn. But also like, part of it with his past is not that it’s seen but it’s brought up and I want to like, just exhibit how he changed from then to who he presently is. Cuz like, he’s getting revenge on the guy who turned her but she actually likes being a vampire - there’s specific circumstances about it for both of these things so like I swear I’m tryna make it make sense lmao.

Across the Skin

Of course. My classic. My childhood magnum opus. I still love u girl 😭. Idk what to do. I used to actually like write a lot abt this story in middle school. I still am playing around with the logistics of it - even more so a bit cuz I made New Truth in the same universe as it so it helps to have some cleared world rules there. I always consider bringing back some of the older rules and putting them back but idk how that’d look. The very basic skeleton is still the same tho: Olma and Vince are going into a remote location to study under other psychics to learn powers (or rather, Olma is, and Vince is forcing himself to go along). But the rules of powers and the psychic society I still need to make more solid, it’s an important part of why things happen how they do.

Against My Better Judgment

This one is a group. It’s just like, Riath letting Vikki live in their house, only God knows why. Because I still don’t 😭. Like from their personality I need to know WHY Riath would do that. I also need to do some more logistics stuff. Like how does Dr. V do these things? How did he create life and make Vikki and Richie? How does Richie work as an android of sorts? Hm. More questions like how and why does Vikki leave and hide not being a natural human? What is the scale of tech in this story? Much to think about 🤔

Agtiu Lineup

One of my mains rn I feel. I only have like, one character’s full “arc” and motivations planned best so far (Mériga). I plan this one as having separate parts / “arcs” that would be like: the intro, the parts that relate to each character (but I don’t know when, I just know Mériga’s would be like, third?), and the end. I have some of the world building - aliens that interfere in the evolution of planets to try and help them return to the Earth and then send mech-type shit (or w/e the best word is idk) to random people on the world because of like, monsterous threats (like typical mech stuff). So like I have species lore and some world lore (honestly I have common world lore across a few of my stories where like, it’s our same world but slightly better in certain aspects but like, the same in others 😑 - cuz I want my characters to like, have my real life ethnicities instead of being “coded” but the formation of both of them are inherently tied to colonialism - “US” and Africa 😒 so that parts always i try to work on too)

BINDS WORLDWIDE

Newer story cuz it’s actually me trying to rework my reptile fan iteration (if you know u know) cuz I wanna do more of what I want and i want more negros of course. I’m trying to make it as separate as I possibly can but it’s hard cuz there’s some stuff that’s like intrinsically tied to the same ideas that makes my specific stuff I wanna build upon not work if I don’t try to fit it in. So far I’ve worked around the family history by just making changes like making it a fake world instead of set in a more realistic based location, and by fully leaning into how I changed the family drama past for my own purposes. (Also they are spies.) I don’t know what to do about the mutant stuff yet… like what will they look like. How does it happen? Why are they hiding? If I keep animals then I feel like that’s very obvious and I don’t like that. It’s not even that like I’m ashamed or something cuz like if I got asked “is this the inspiration” I’d be like “oh totally” but I really wanna make it more of my own thing rather than a sort of “rip-off” yknow? Like truly I think there’s some fun ideas that don’t have to do with the source inspo that I really wanna play with!

Castle (still tryna think of a proper title)

A much newer story based off a more recent dream. I’m still trying to figure out the setting because when it was a dream the world of it kept shifting back and forth from a human world to a sea creature/mermaid world, and certain important parts were heavily based on which world but all of it relevant to the plot of it. I’m thinking right now it will be a sea world, but also sci-fi techno at the same time. Like the mermaids have a cyber city. Which like, I totally could, but I’m not fully sold on it lowkey. Besides that tho, this story is about a rebellious prince who wants nothing to do with his monarchy, and is trying to escape it. He works on machines that he should not be and hides it with the help of his one friend he has been allowed to have and a new friend who infiltrated his castle. His father is the antag of course. He’s very weird abt keeping the family line and following very strict rules, like typical “we need a pure line” type story shit yeah? Still working on it.

Comic Kid

Destroy Deviolck City

Story about a society of a panopticon (in the sense of, broadcasting for entertainment tho). I have not watched the Squid Game, but because everyone is talking abt it. There’s maybe a similar vibe based off my osmosis impression. Idk I’m just kinda sayin shit here. But anyway, how the panopticon society works is the very rich / powerful leaders will capture random people in out them in this prison structure where they will record them for their entertainment and also keep people in line through this. However, the prison structures use old buildings as their structure, so there’s pockets where people can go from their assigned room into secret rooms with less watch and this is where certain ppl (such as the protag team) plan to escape and destroy the prisons. So far I’m planning a span of three years of the story (cuz Saint starts as 13 but I imagine within the story she becomes 16 at some point). I’m still working on some important background characters cuz they are central to Saint and Malik’s stories particularly. And I still need to work more on the specifics of the society. And if there are creatures. Cuz this story is another based off a dream (v old tho but I’ve been working on this story since I had that dream so it’s more solid) and in the dream there’s like, an iguana man. And I think that’s cool. But maybe it wouldn’t work. Idk. It could 🤷🏽‍♀️

Every Day Infinite

Another new one! This one is about an immortal from another dimension where the timeline of the world went backwards in a magic apocalypse, and so when he comes to a world more similar to our real world (but not a 1 to 1 cuz I can’t keep using the same base worldbuilding / history for all my stories - esp cuz most of them aren’t connected. Well. I can. But I do not want to do that.). From this he can acclimate sort of…he first is transported during like. Knight times n shit. In like (the equivalent of) Europe. But in ends up in the (equivalent of) the “US”. Don’t have solid world stuff for it yet but the world he’s from has more stuff. And I have bro’s backstory from it too n I rlly like it! This ain’t even half of the base of it tho. There’s another guy, and he is on a mission to find what happened to his sister, and this causes. Some problems. (Still working on it). There’s also a mind reader and a witch. Lots of stuff with this one.

Hey Rider

Another ex-ts4 one! This is based from my Horse Ranch save! Another where I slightly change world history to make things better cuz I thinkkk I can make it work here. Still tryna figure some details out with it but that’s my base plan for that! So far what I have it stuff that happened in my game of course and also some things I had planned to happen later. I like the gameplays I’ve made into stories cuz I get to play with the backgrounds I imagined for the characters more when I’m doing everything rather than them just being my Sims in a game I can’t fully control even with mods. Although some of the stuff being out of ur control adds extra stuff that’s fun to add so I might end up doing another TS4 to story/group conversion in the future idk!! 🤷🏽‍♂️

Match to Mine

And another one of my mains I feel. Fully original world building based off AfAm and Kriolu culture, afrofuturism, and just some ideas I have of a more stable type of world (but not in all aspects - cuz like I want there to be a bit of outside conflict so it’s not totally perfect, but I also didn’t want oppression to be a part of the conflict of the narrative. At the end of the day this story is set in a beautiful world where problems rely more on things out of anyone’s control and interpersonal relations). Even with what I said tho, there is metaphorical reference to the reasons for the formations of my cultures (similar reasoning to what I mentioned on my Agtiu section but in a different direction). For my worldbuilding, I have a world map with regions, how time works (world clock), and some styles of the world so far. I also have the social standards / values set as well. This story is very fun to build the world for because of just how much I can build with it without having to work in relation to colonialism and imperialism in the story, and I can make a story with a world that doesn’t have them in it.

Meridevisán

My OC world. Newer-ish cuz I made it cuz I wanted certain misc OCs (Séti Ténta Ávi) I had to be in the same world and interact regularly. The base of it centers around ideas I had for Séti as a standalone cuz that was the most built out one, and it works well for the other two characters so I’m glad I put them together. How it works is that Angels and Devils are formed from a random selection of aspects that humans can have (additionally tho Devils can be conceived tho, but not Angels - might change tho cuz like, I think I had a reason but I forgot so it’s like, who cares). (Mermaids are conceived tho, not formed.) Séti is formed newly and trying to figure out who he is and what is purpose it to be, Ávi has been formed and is helping him (in his strange type of way), and Ténta is also along for helping Séti out (and being helped as being newer to land!). It’s an OC group so there’s no like set story that’s just a basic setup.

New Truth

This one is more of a group than a story which I find funny just cuz of its connection to what I concussed my magnum opus as a young teen. It’s just about weird college art people. Shiloh as a psychic being OCD attacked by their powers while not knowing about/understanding them. The rest of the characters are just regular lmao. They’re tryna help them 🙏🏽. If this was more of a story, then maybe I’d have like, an Olma and Vince cameo as helping Shiloh with their powers or something big like that. Would defo be post ATS tho for sure.

SUED

OC group from my first actual OC group when I was a kid! There’s only two characters left and their story is totally different than original (it makes my sister sad cuz she really like these OCs of mine so lowkey I consider bringing them back but idk what I would do). The original story was about 8 people in like, a school that are forced to live as story characters for certain genres (it’s kinda like EAH but like, more weird). The current group is the 2 of those characters I have left being scammers lmao. Honestly my original idea is better (but it’s also a whole story n not just a group) so honest maybe I’ll return to the original premise to fix it up and make it better idk!

The Manifesting Collection

My “cartoon story”. I have mentioned somewhere??? (No one prob has seen it lmao) that this is also a dream story! From when I was 12! And in the dream it was formatted as a two season show and I like to think abt that (not happening tho, I am not an animator lmao and plus I’m still working on it). The format is like, episodic with an ongoing plot in the background that comes into the foreground at the end of the first “season”. Still need to do world and world building logistics. But I like this one. This is like, one of my few stories where I can’t make the characters adults tho cuz if the tone and their like, teen behavior that’s inherent to the story 😭. It stresses me out idk why except that I get stressed by ridiculous things that don’t matter (OCD slay!!! ✌🏽) (idk I like making adult characters more now cuz I can do more stuff and it’s more fun for me. I still like the TMC kids tho cuz it doesn’t get so heavy with their story)

The Turn Around

Last of the ts4 games turned story/group! It’s my Dial save! My favorite legacy/main save I played for like 3 years yayyyy 💕. I think it can work well as OCs for the reasons I mentioned on my “description” for Hey Rider. I love the Dials and I’m so excited to work on them as OCs. I wanna make a proper timeline and I wanna figure out how to draw them! I’ve tweaked a bitttt of my notes so far but there’s still quite a few changes I need to make, but it’s coming together so far. I am gonna like retcon stuff I can’t make work cuz of how aging works in the sims yknow, not being realistic at all, but also just cuz since I’ve had this save for so long there’s things I need to change because I forgot the original reasons certain things happen so I gotta make it up now, but it’s not like these changes are bad so it’s not a big deal except when I really really wanna remember a specific detail cuz I remembered I liked it even tho I don’t remembered what it was 😭. With changing this game into a story, I’d say the vibes I want to evoke are like a family drama type of thing. Cuz I mean that’s kinda what legacy saves are right? And I picked the title I have because I wanna reference their last name without straight saying it. It seems like something you would see on a Tv line up so I like it 👍🏽

Traced in Thickets

My true main story at the moment. I’ve been working on Traced since like 2021 😭 I wish I was faster and better at this typa thing - it’s okay tho, that’s the process plus I’m still having fun! I have like the basics of the worldbuilding down for sure - it’s a combination of my typical method of “real world but some things are improved” and “I just made a buncha shit up” because like, part of the base world building is that different Earths of different dimensions are combining! (So like, I actually have a reason for humans existing I guess lmao. I really like humanoid characters over creature like ones okay? 😭). I have written like, the base outline of the first part of the story so far, and I have backgrounds kinda done so far too, but I don’t know how I wanna move into the next part. There’s like specific scenes in my head that would happen and certain points and some sort of an end, but it’s still not fleshed out like that yet. Idk, cuz like at the end of the day this actually a bit of a road trip story if I’m being honest, and those can kinda go however yknow? A road trip story about figuring your life out. Much to think about still.

When You Got Here

This is actually like. Technically a classic sims to story group for me. TS3 even! Not TS4! How it went was that when I was like 11 or something I finally got to get the Supernatural pack (which I was obsessed with as a kid) and I wanted to do like that no adult challenge or w/e. I made four supernatural sims from species i wanted to play with and tried to do that. But I didn’t not understand how to do kids, so it kept not working how I wanted too lmao. And then I just made them OCs and I’ve had them since then. The current version has two parts - the part when I was a teen so they are teens and it’s like the actual plot of being supernatural in the human world (their world is a mirror world to the Earth but with supernaturals), and then the second part where they are adults and just like, reflecting upon how they got there (so I guess like the actual plot and then just like an epilogue and “extras”). I actually have some key stuff done for this one but I haven’t actually written it down cuz I’m so bad at that. Like it’s been years and it just lives in my head (dangerous, because of my terrible memory). So I will have to actually write it at some point. May share when I do so! 👍🏽

Very very different from then they’re actually the only one left from the original idea but it’s sooo divorced so it’s like this is basically a completely different OC but I still associate them with each other

The evil fairy demon. I don’t do anything with them but they’re funny. They kill people but not actually it’s like, they trap ppl in a time loop of sorts to kill them but then let them free when they get bored 😭💀 they just like tormenting humans!

My SDV farmer I miss them cuz I don’t be playing video games like that but I still think abt them cuz they’re fun 🫶🏽 No one likes them (except Evelyn my GOAT!!) they are very strange still. “Christian” daughter of the devil in the apocalypse. Maybe if you was here for a bit u know I started writing her story and posting it as a poetry series but I never finished it. What I was going for with her is like rejection in relation to Christianity and such themes, and I’m still kinda at that angle but that was when I was still experiencing a terrible Catholic school experience / when it was still a fresh wound but now it resonates with me less cuz I make my religion my own more now and time has put the religious specifics of my problems quite further from me now. But I still wanna play with the ideas I had started planning with her. Maybe I’ll try to write the poetry series again one day…

Renamed from Yca Syeilno, same character obviously I just wanted to give them a first name I didn’t make up and simplify the spelling of their last name. Still an influencer-type, still a bad bitch, still my fun dress up doll! I should draw them again some time.

My knight girl who is on a quest to just live her life (running theme with my characters I fear…) - she wants adventure and excitement! I actually have written much about this character cuz I developed her further for a writing class I took in high school - I actually wrote a scene!! The catalyst of her story is that she finds an enchanted sword that lights a flame when she wields it and this pushes her to try to adventure.
