just remembered bc i've been on a transformers kick the past couple of days and it's getting close to christmas... i have an optimus prime that i made when i was a little girl that hangs on the tree every year 😭

I Feel TFOne Could've Handled This Better...

Hot take but I feel like folks have been really generous with the take that OP was unable to find ~the perfect words~ in the heat of the moment (and thus should be given some grace) when he told D to stand down and "not be like Sentinel"... namely cuz I don't feel that the narrative supports this?

Like-- after all is said and done, OP doesn't reflect on that part of their split. He doesn't have a moment where he seeks validation or voices his regrets over the choice of his words, it's actually cut-and-dry. The narrative (as it stands) supports that OP saw D-16 acting up, so he called him out and stood on business, down to the last scenes where he's basically like "yeah it's a shame but y'all knew I had to do it to 'em."

It didn't have to be much! I'm not saying to absolve Megs, just show OP looking at things from a different perspective/contemplating a bit on that tough choice and the morality of the moment. Some examples of what I wish we had:

B-127 straight up blurting the obvious by later chatting with Orion like, "Wait so you told your best friend that he was acting just as bad as the guy who enslaved us for our entire lives and was torturing him like an hour ago? Oof. Seems kinda harsh." Then have some of OP's regret show on his face.

OP asking Elita-1 after Megs is banished if he did the right thing. Have Elita back his choice up, saying, "You should have seen what he did after you were... gone. It was terrifying. I know it was tough, but you made the right call." OP is grateful for the support, but a conflicted look still flashes across his face before he steels himself to look out towards the horizon... and the future.

Have OP walk past other mechs/former miners who didn't go with the High Guard saying stuff like, "Wish I could've given Sentinel a piece of my mind!" "Yeah, but I'm glad he's gone for good." "Ugh I miss everything." "Oh, it was crazy! Megatron picked him up and then he rrrrriiipped-- oops, hey there, Mr. Optimus... Prime... sir?" And have OP wave hello, looking a bit sick when they leave.

Post-credits scene with Starscream going on and on, asking Megs when they'll be back to teach the upstart Prime a lesson. Megs grabs his face to shut him up. "Patience, Starscream. The Prime thinks I'm no better than Sentinel... but I'll show him. He wants Iacon? He can have it. In the meantime we'll take the rest of the planet! Then I'll come back, crush Prime under my heel, and we'll take Iacon too. Sentinel's reign will barely be a footnote, because I'm about to become Optimus Prime's worst nightmare." The vocal performance would really need to sell this-- like picture Megs saying something like that from a place of anger and hurt, not so much a place of genuine evil or malice.

Basically instead of Orion's assertion being backed up as black and white/good vs bad, I wish we had some different opinions/reactions from the characters sprinkled in there. Like you can't tell me out of allllll the miners who weren't strong enough/willing to go with the High Guard and ended up sticking around that NONE of them were like "eyyo honestly?? Kiiiiinda glad Sentinel is dead. Wish I could have helped, tbh." like come onnnnn...

And you can't even argue that he's not an active threat-- I don't think everyone would see things that way! It's not just about the threat he physically has, but the threat he represents and is very likely to act upon if given the opportunity! He has a proven track record of not only being sneaky and conniving, but also capable of dealing some serious damage/killing people bigger and stronger than him, plus he has the backing of the Quints. All he'd need to do is wriggle his way out of jail and run off to his sponsors, then he'd probably be back to hurt more people! (If the Quints didn't just kill him out of incompetence lmao). There's a lot of "ifs" here, but I think it's a valid argument that not everyone would agree on what is the right or wrong way to handle Sentinel once he was down long enough to, like, do something about him.

I feel the situation needed a bit of nuance. In some way I wish they had kicked the can and had D and Orion bicker while Sentinel escaped, then have D get frustrated enough by the loss of Sentinel to point fingers (and his fusion canon) at Orion, who then falls and becomes OP. (Megs could still show some of thar emotion/remorse right after he does it too.) Not only would this open the door for a sequel, but tbh the Quint might have just killed Sentinel anyways and sought to deal with the miners uprising themselves lol. (Maybe that could have been an after credits scenes too instead of the B-127 bit??)

Would love to see a moment in a sequel where they have a calmer moment after arguing for a bit. Have OP mention how Megs was out of line, that it hurt and even scared him to see him act that way, and Megs can quietly point out "you said I was as bad as Sentinel... is that really how you see me? After everything we went through?"

Then OP can fumble the bag again lmao like "D, I... I'm sorry, that didn't come out right... but you still took things way too far..."

"Why am I not surprised-- your opinion is what matters the most! Maybe that's why you became a Prime, since you're so good at acting like the world revolves around you--!"

Ridiculous Headcanons Pt. 1

Sorry in advance y’all. Okay so I was so bored at work my brain was rotting thinking of TFP characters for so long that I have this. Here’s what I think each character’s favorite cheese would be, if either they were human at some point and tried it, or could taste a big enough chunk as cybertronians; whatever excuse needs to be for them to have any opinion about cheese. (also could just be them as cheeses… idk, I work in Wisconsin, I’m always surrounded by cheese, this is what happens.)

Autobots

Optimus Prime: Optimus liked Colby Jack. Good, classic Colby Jack. He likes the two distinctive colors and just generally enjoys the flavor.

Arcee: Pepper Jack; well loved, timeless, and packs a punch too. She likes that it’s soft but not sweet. Also, Jack being in the name is a bonus.

Bumblebee: Velveeta. The color is great and it’s a universal, famous cheese; everyone knows it (at least in the USA), just like him. He had it in a mac & cheese and stuck with it as his favorite. (he strikes me as a mac & cheese sort of guy)

Bulkhead: He’d chose brick cheese because it has a good, versatile, underrated taste. Also, just like him, this cheese is softer than its name implies <3

Wheeljack: Cheetos. He didn’t care that they “technically wont count as a cheese”, they’re cheese flavored enough and they’re what he likes. Especially the flamin’ hot ones.

Smokescreen: Cheese curds. Warm, squeaky, proper cheese curds. Specifically the ranch flavored ones are his top pick.

Ultra Magnus: This was how Ultra Magnus found out he was lactose intolerant. He didn’t like any of them, and he won’t be asked to try again.

Ratchet: Ratchet chose blue cheese, purely because the flavor was so distinctive. It’s also a very mature choice of cheese, which just made sense for him. 

Decepticons

Megatron: Monterey Jack. The warlord refused to consume any cheeses but picked Monterey Jack just because to him, it sounded like an evil version of Colby Jack.

Starscream: Cheese whiz..?? When presented with the samples he didn’t bother to try anything, but automatically went for the can of cheese whiz, as if he already knew it..??? (He did what he had to do when he was rogue. Ik it doesnt make sense but its hilarious.)

Soundwave: Mozzarella. Soundwave had already heard of cheese on the internet indirectly throughout his few years of needing to interact with human information in order to serve Megatron. Because he understood mozzarella cheese to be a monumentally important cheese to human society, he internally likened himself to it, being himself monumentally important to the Decepticon cause. No one knew that this was why he chose mozzarella, they were just glad that he responded at all. 

Shockwave: When Shockwave received the cheese samples he did not taste anything and instead just.. Left to his lab and ran some tests.. After a while he decided on feta cheese, saying that it is among the healthiest of cheeses and therefore, for nutritional purposes, is the most logical choice.

Knockout: Camembert. It’s soft and fancy and french and… He hardly tasted much it, but liked pronouncing it, and appreciated that he could spread it on a cracker instead of getting a giant chunk stuck all up in his teeth.

Breakdown: Breakdown chose Parmesan cheese because he had once seen in a movie the grater that is used at restaurants where they just keep cranking it. He said it tasted as good as it looked in the movie.

Dreadwing: Dreadwing thought that Provolone was the ideal cheese. It seemed the most sensible.

St3v3: String cheese was St3v3’s pick, even though it is technically mozzarella. For him, it was a texture thing.

Airachnid: Cazu Marzu. It’s that maggot cheese that can kill you if you eat it. It wasn’t even on the sample plate, she just brought it herself.

Predacons

Predaking: Predaking chose smoked Gouda. He did admit that the smoke added a touch of familiarity to the cheese (seeing as, of course, breathing fire exposes you to plenty of smoky smells). Overall, he thought they were all pretty good, but somehow this was the only smoked one on the plate, so he chose it.

Skylynx: Skylynx thought the aged Swiss wasn’t that bad. The bitterness was enjoyable to him, and he found it best melted.

Darksteel: Limburger. It was the most controversial cheese on the plate, and that just made him think it was the most exciting one. The smell didn’t even bother him much, and he genuinely enjoyed the flavor.

If there are any TFP fics exploring the whole 'Smokescreen almost became a Prime' thing (either, like, aus where he becomes a prime or just like, fics tacking the aftermath of 'it almost happened') send them my way pls b/c idk how to find them.

In the meantime I need to ramble about my idea for the timeline of 'Smokescreen ends up a Prime' in TFP.

Optimus dies. The Forge didn't have enough energy to save him, enough for a good bye but that's it. Leaving Smokescreen alone, with a lifeless Optimus Prime and the Matrix apparently being transferred to him. #smokescreendidnotsignupforthisshit

And it does, even if Smokescreen does not think he's ready or qualified. But he gets it and it reborn as Smokescreen Prime (or, w/e his name would be. idk if it needs to keep the same initials, like OP did or the same/similar name or a different name, if a totally new name is a thing then I nominate Ignis Prime, b/c Ignis means flame, and where there's smoke there's fire). Probably gets a physical upgrade as well (bigger, maybe his s3 colour scheme, new abilities, the works).

Meanwhile, at the Decepticon fortress everything is proceeding the way it did in canon, the Bots are captured to be executed up until 'oh, who's that on the horizon?' it's not a Con, looks wrong, but it can't a Bot cause none of the ones currently on earth fly. And as it gets closer they're even more confused. It's NOT Prime, the colour is wrong, but it's not familiar.

They don't realize it's Smokescreen till he lands (flying in on, idk, new wings or jet feet). And he promptly guns it for Megatron. And to their (and Megatron's surprise) does not get insta killed. In fact he seems remarkably energized for someone who should have been battered and hungry and in hiding for a while.

And it takes a bit for anyone to realize, through all the fighting (since everyone is now), what weapon Smokescreen is wielding.

The Star Saber

And when someone does notice, oh they notice and comment. Idk if it would strike harder if it's Megatron or an Autobot(like Arcee or Rachet) who finally asks/comments "But, only a Prime can use the Star Sabre."

And Smokescreen, replies, in a sad/melencholy/bitter tone just replies "Yeah, they can."

And it's a small statement that speaks volumes and has everyone shook.

Finally he issues his first actual command, "Bring this base down." And they do, they bring the Decepticon base down and beat them, sending the Cons fleeing.

In the aftermath and the quiet is when Smokescreen is finally able to explain and deliver the devastating news of Optimus' death. The whole time Smokescreen has just been just barely holding himself together. And unfortunately, all the inevitable questions ('why you?' 'what happened?' 'how?' etc...) finally break him and just has a breakdown. He doesn't KNOW why Prime or the Matrix chose him. He doesn't know what to do, how to lead. He's not even sure he wants this, not right now!

Yeah he wanted to be a great warrior like Optimus someday, he just hadn't realized that 'someday' would be 'right now, today'.

It's just so so much to take in and handle. And oh yeah, he DID have to watch his hero die in front of him, helpless and unable to save his life. That kinda fuckin sucks too. #smokescreenneedsabreak

I feel like Rachet would offer his sympathies, or at least a comforting pat on the back/shoulder for the younger bot who just, really really needs to sort himself out. Maybe tell him they'll figure this out together, he doesn't have to do this alone.

And I don't really have an ending aside from Smokescreen just, having to grapple with this massive change in his life and burden that's been placed upon his shoulders.

Maybe end with them giving Optimus Prime a funeral or w/e you do with a dead bot.

Okay, sooo, I’m bored and I have this oc named Vivienne, Viv for short, she looks near human but gives off uncanny valley vibes. She’s like this Cyptid based in France, she wears a very extravagant masquerade mask most of the time(I’ll provide examples of her at the end, I used my Roblox oc of her as an example cause I can’t draw very well, as well as Gacha club:,)) and she’s just very kind and caring but is forever cursed to live in solitude due to how people react to her.

Soooo, I was wondering how Optimus(TFP), Ratchet(TFP), and Wheeljack would react to her protecting the kids(say they follow them throw the ground bridge) from cons or something

I also how just sentences of how I think she’d react but I want a full visual, like she completely destroyed a con, finger tips over her mouth as she says ‘ My apologies Monsieur ‘ or her just doting on the kids worried they are injured saying ‘oh vous petits chéris(oh you little darlings!) are you okay? You must have been so scared’

Optimus will meet Vivienne when he goes to France.

He will be searching for decpticon since there was activity.

He will hear somthing crashing and goes to investigate.

That's where he finds Vivienne standing over a now dead con.

She has a hand fan, fanning her self.

He hears her say "my apologies monsieur"

He will be surprised and come to talk to her.

He will bring them to the base. (As much as ratchet hates that)

He will see quickly how portecrive he is of the kids.

(She is also his favorite since she is the most mature)

He would become Vivienne's guardian.

While being with Vivienne, he will see how people react to her.

He felt bad and asked

She explains, he feels worse.

He will try to include Vivienne in everything to make her happy.

Ratchet

Ratchet will meet Vivienne when optimus brings them to base.

While he complains, the kids will be interested of Vivienne.

He will be assigned as Vivienne's guardian.

He will pay Vivienne no mind but he will notice how she watches him from behind her fan.

I think he will finally see how powerful she is when she rescues him.

They where attacked while heading to base.

She will kick the decpticons ass.

He will hear her say "quelle chose pathétique" (what a pathetic thing)

He will have respect for Vivienne and actally starts to be nice.

(Meaning he will stop ignoring her)

He will let Vivienne sit on his shoulder while he works.

Wheeljack

Wheeljack would have met Vivienne when the autobots head to the decpticon warship to rescue him

While he is chained up, he hears somone shouting and blasting.

He will be surprised by a human walking in.

Vivienne will interduce herself (very politely)

"my apologies for the delay ami" (friend)

Vivienne will get wheeljack free and they meet up with the team.

He will be vivienne's new guardian and friend.

He will not be real quickly that Vivienne will be ignored and ask her about it.

Once he figures out why, he will think that would be awsome

Hi hello so idk if anyone else has said anything about this but I'm making a post about it cause I can (MILD TF EARTHSPARK SPOILERS AHEAD???)

So recently I got into Transformers: Earthspark and the show is so gOOD LIKE AAAAAA- the details in it is phenomenal and the dialogue they have for the characters is great. But one thing I noticed the other day was with the GHOST logos on Optimus Prime and Megatron were different than each other

I noticed how in the Ghost logo for Optimus, it has the Autobot insignia while with Megatron, it has the Decepticon insignia. Which would make sense, the logo goes with their corresponding sides. HOWEVER. HOWEVER when thinking about this more, it kinda hurts; Megatron should have the Autobot insignia, not the Decepticon insignia.

The reason I say this is because in Episode 12: Outtakes, Jawbreaker goes and asks how Elita-1 and Megatron got their alt modes. Megatron went first with telling the story on how he got his alt mode and how he chose it just before the end of the war and this was when he stopped fighting against Optimus and joined him with his faction: Autobots. Megatron had stated when talking about his past that his priorities had changed and wanted something better for future Cybertronians.

Jawbreaker asked how Megatron got Optimus to trust him after the two were enemies, in which Megs responded with "By scanning an Earth vehicle." JB was surprised because he knew that meant Megatron had to give up his Cybertronian alt mode and it didn't seem fair. Megatron agreed because that is what he believed, at first. Megs only changed his alt mode when they had gotten attacked by seekers from in the air, he had no choice but to take the fight to them and scan the last aircraft on the base. With this act, Megatron said he had defended his new friends and proved his loyalty to Optimus. He no longer identified himself as a Decepticon, but people still treated him as such because of his past.

It's not fair with how much Megatron had sacrificed to prove himself, and still be treated unfairly by others. All he wants is a fair world where all Cybertronians, and Terrans, could live peacefully. It's a reason why Megatron had gotten so upset with how poorly they were treating arrested Decepticons and not even trying to give some of them a second chance.

This also is probably why he isn't exactly trusting of Ghost. Ghost keeps many secrets from others and leaves them in the dark with little to no information. Not to mention with all of the shady things that have been going on with them so Megs has valid reasoning not to trust them even though he has been 'working' for them.

Also I would like to rq mention how Ghost has been a thing for like 30 YEARS??? And how Optimus has been with them for that long but Megatron has only been with them for 15. So this also could correspond with how cruddy Ghost treats Megatron since he joined later, he asks a lot of questions, and doesn't exactly like to take BS from them.

TL;DR - Megatron needs to be treated fairly with all the shit he's sacrificed and had to deal with after joining Ghost

So I finally finished Transformers EarthSpark, lowkey love it. (Plot and human Malto’s)

⚠️ SPOILERS ⚠️

Overall Plot

- I think they did pretty good with the plot overall, I think the biggest plot hole is what happened to Ravage when Soundwave let them out in the cell block. I think it would have been interesting and explained better if they kept what they had planned from the story board instead of cutting it.

I like that they moved the antagonist from the Decepticons themselves to GHOST but I still feel like that left loose ends after the show. Like what happened to the Decepticons vs Autobots war or how did they’re treatment change after defeating Mandriod.

From what I know theres not much information about why the war in this iteration really started except that its tied to G1 through comics and ‘history’. Regardless of how it started I feel like Transformers as a whole is kind if an allegory for real life in many ways, example: Decepticon movement and revolution was (at least that I know in prime) was because the Council forced them as slaves and entertainment which makes their struggle a fictional parallel to events like the Civil Rights movement and revolutionary wars (happened/happening/might happen sometime in many countries).

I just find the idea that I’m supposed to root for the Autobots that want to protect humans after bringing their war to our planet over the Decepticons and their very understandable movement regardless of what their leader is doing at the moment is just kind of weird. Megatron, while is their leader has on multiple occasions changed what the movement has been kinda been about like in TFP he shifted focus from equal rights and changing out of a caste system to wanting to Offline Optimus Prime.

A leader can start a movement but its the people that drive it, if the leader is tainted and no one can/chooses to stand up for the actual cause then the cause is doomed. At the same time the people may not see the change in corse or understand the difference how it isn’t what they were fighting for if the leader words it in ways that makes it sound like the opponent is standing in the way of their success.

In TFP Megatron really wants to offline Optimus Prime, besides the fact that most of the crew on the nemesis is currently drones, the crew that the drones were clones of actively chose to follow him regardless. The crew, regardless if any spoke out, believed that Optimus Prime would be an obstacle in their way of creating a ‘better’ world. So at the end its mostly just manipulation from Megatron to get what he wants and the crew can’t really tell or are not strong enough to do anything about it.

ANYWAY, Characters,

Malto Family (human)

- Robby

I like Robbie, I think he has good character, especially growth. That being said I hate how he acted in the first episode. As a kid that was moved around a lot I understand its hard when you move away from some where that you grew up and know a lot of people to a new place, except the way he handled it was completely just no. He was 13 and came from a big city, understandable that he would miss home and the country would be a big change. But the selfishness in the idea that the only reason he stopped trying to run away from Witwicky wasn’t for his sister, but for giant robots. Just the way he treated Mo in the first episode is un called for and he should have had a sit down talk with their parents about how he felt and what comprises could be made for him to like it out there too. Like idk plan days to go hangout with friends in the city? Clearly you live close enough to bike there if you thought your friends parents wouldn’t send you back home if you actually managed to abandon Mo and get to the city.

- Mo

I love Mo and as a younger sibling completely understands how she sees things throughout the show. Episode one is like a double ended blade, Robby has no obligation to put other peoples feelings above his own about any situation <within reason of topic> however if you’re that close to your younger sibling its not only rude but concerning to push your family away over a move. Yes its a big move but Robby chose not to lean on family. Also the fact that he was so willing to run away and abandon his sister and yell at her for following him is disgusting. I’m sorry, yes a big move sucks, not being with all your friends sucks, but its not like he was too far to visit them and the way he treated Mo was unacceptable. Mo is his younger sister and is not the reason for the move, as an older sibling it shouldn’t have taken a cybersleeve for Robby to understand that Mo was affected by the move too. As a younger sibling, we see it all, we hear it all, we internalize everything. Robby leaving would have left Mo with the mentality that she was easy to leave behind because her own brother valued city life and his friends more then her being there. Theres no way in reality that she would have forgive him so easily for trying to leave after the Terrans were born. The only reason Robby didn’t keep running away was because something ‘interesting’ happened (the Terrans), the idea that two new friends/family members being the largest reason for him deciding to stay wouldn’t impact her mental is crazy.

- Dorothy and Alex

Cute couple, love their love and support for each other. Alex is a silly guy but clearly is a great sad just like Dot is a great mom.

The whole issue of moving to Witwicky was blamed on Dot which isn’t completely wrong but its not like they moved out of state or too far away for the kids to visit the city every so often. Yes its important to want your kids to want/like the move but sometimes its better that you do or theres outside factors that play in it and you have to move regardless. Dorothy didn’t have to have them move but she (very reasonably) wanted a change of pace and scene, they stayed within reasonable range of the city (clearly) so its not a giant problem especially if half the 2/3 other family members think its fair to let her finally have something she’s wanted for a while, a change of scene. Dorothy does so much for her kids and the lack of empathy from Robby to think he can’t possibly live without texting or seeing his friends 24/7 is crazy. Oh you have friends? Okay cool, maybe work on your communication skills with mom and find a schedule that lets you sit in the dining room and talk to your friends and make plans to visit every so often. Also clearly thats a fucking lie because instead of doing his family tradition with dad he stayed home and entered a game tournament IN HIS ROOM, so OBVIOUSLY HE HAS WIFI or connection to the internet and is able to play/connect with friends.

I feel very strongly on how Robby acted in the first episode and can’t see anyway for Mo to not be affected.

hhhhhh uh so for a little while now, I've been really heavily debating my name n such. I use a fake name online (i do respond to it irl though lmao) and for now it's been Tristan. I'm honestly super really happy with it and like it a lot. But at the same time, I just feel lacking, and I have certain kinshifts that I really lean towards.

Dave/Will are somewhat taken by a few moots (NO SHADE THERE GUYS POP OFF YOU GO HONEY!!!) and honestly, I don't even connect with them as much either.

So, after a long debate with myself over how cringe it would be considered to kin a certain character and such and how I'd feel admitting it, I decided to suck it up and face it. ccid. so uhhhh yeah!

I know not too many people i know here are really that aware of the transformers lore, but holy crap. oh my god. I kin Orion Pax SO HARD. iykyk esp with my insane fixation on Optimus prime, I love my baby man to bits and know how he feels on a spiritual level. He is so awesome and sweet and fun raaaggggghghghghghghgh

So yeah, in order of preference, though not strict, Tristan/Pax/Rion.

as for why I chose Rion instead of Orion, A. KWITE. if you know, YOU KNOW. (I love the hoodie, back off. kwitetrap supremacy), and B. Actually nobody has asked this yet, and I'm glad somebody finally did because I have some thoughts about if Kels was a Cybertronian or had an alt form, if she wasn't human!

I've been debating between what my heart says and also my brain, because my initial thought is that her alt mode would be a small steam locomotive! It wouldn't be practical because....well...she needs RAILS unless she wants to end up going in a straight line and ending up in a ditch somewhere. But I think if I had the choice, it would be a small steam locomotive, like the Gazelle steam engine! Kels in her normal verse adores trains and I just think it would be cute she'd be a train!

But if being a train is out of the question, I'd have to go with the 1959 Mini Minor. It's actually a British car but shhhh! It's so widdle and so is Kelsey!

If she was a Cybertronian she would actually be a decent size width wise, but if we're talking about her height she'd be very small, just like her normal human verse! That's why I chose some of the smallest alt forms I could find! Nevertheless, she'd have a hexagonal/diamond/emerald shaped area in the middle of her chest that is see through that you can see (safely) her spark, which is what a Cybertronian's life essence is. Typically it is too bring to look at directly, but the chamber is tinted. It pulses with life as she goes on with her everyday life.

Her mechanical parts of her body ofc would be depending on the alt mode, but one thing I would absolutely guarantee is that she would be a deep plum purple color. Not only is it Kelsey's favorite color in her normal human verse, it's the symbolism of Red and Blue mixed together, which those are Optimus' colors of his body.

Optimus Prime - Transformers

Whatever continuity it may be, I love Optimus Prime (yes, even the Shatter Glass version). I was torn between him and Bumblebee, but in the end, I chose Papa Prime. He's such a Dad and I would go to war for him. Optimus is one of my comfort characters and he's also one of the fictional beings I wish were real because I'd give anything to receive a hug from him.

Erza Scarlet - Fairy Tail

One of my first girl crushes. It was thanks to Erza that I realized I also liked women. I loved how goofy she can be despite her seriousness, and her love for the Fairy Tail guild is extremely admirable. I kind of relate to her as well because she puts on a strong front despite her emotional baggage and all.

Kaeya Alberich - Genshin Impact

My original main character in Genshin Impact. I have been playing since 2021 and I did build other characters (out of necessity thanks to the Spiral Abyss and other game mechanics), but Kaeya remains as my strongest character. Idk why but I just fell in love with him when he was first introduced (the camera slowly panning up starting from his legs while he slow claps aergfeksdfvd).

Saitama - One Punch Man

Where do I even begin with this goofy bundle of overpowered-ness? I love how he's written, how he cares for Genos and his friends in his own way, and how he uses his strength for the good (though I do wonder how the world will be like if Saitama is a villain lol). His fight with Gorou is the best in the series as well.

Percy Jackson - Percy Jackson and the Olympians; Heroes of Olympus

If I could have a boyfriend, I would love it to be Percy Jackson (sorry, Annabeth saldfnkd). I love him so much, head to toe, and I keep re-reading the books over and over and over and over (especially Son of Neptune. He was so badass there aldsjfk).

Toothless - How to Train Your Dragon

Okay, let's take a break from simping and introduce someone wholesome. Yes, I love Toothless. I love his strength, his loyalty, and how he loves and cares for Hiccup and Berk. I was really sad when they parted in the third movie, though I can kind of see why it could be a good closure between Hiccup and Toothless.

Chika Amatori - World Trigger

Continuing with more wholesome, can I just say that Chika is mY BABYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! Okay to clarify, majority of the people in the World Trigger AU are my babies (except for Soya Kazama coz he is my bae), but Chika is my number 1 baby, okay? Cute and badass, I love how this tiny bundle is such a talented sniper underneath that cuteness and timidness (I am getting redundant but please excuse me sksksksks)

Sung Jinwoo - Solo Leveling

MY MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN seriously, I fell in love with him ever since the light novel days. I was so ecstatic when Solo Leveling got a manhwa, and I was even more excited when SL finally got an anime! I love him, I love his growth and development (though I wish manhwa Jinwoo got more development when it comes to his personality and whatnot coz LN Jinwoo was soooo entertaining). Also his outfits are 10000000000 out of 10.

Alice - America McGee's Alice, and Alice Madness Returns

Eyeliner goals. Kidding aside, she's one of my most favorite in-game characters. I love the setting, weapons, and plot, especially in Alice Madness Returns.

Bolin - Avatar: Legend of Korra

Last and definitely not the least, is my favorite himbo, Bolin. I love his growth in the series, especially when he invented lava bending. I was worried that he'd just remain as the comic relief among his friends but I saw how he developed and I think it's good enough (though it could be developed more. Bolin has so much potential tbh).

I wonder how it'll be like if they are in the same room. I think they'll just be talking to each other and vibing, though I can imagine Optimus to be a little awkward since he's so tall. I can also imagine Bolin to be the ice breaker between all of them since he's the friendliest among this bunch.

1. Purson Soi 🎺 Mairimashita! Iruma-kun

i think this one was obvious afdsgbg. i just love him sm, and the fact that you can see little snippets of him from the beginning of the series is fantastic and you never know where he's lurking is just so cool. he's so relatable and just a really well written character (every character in mairuma is well-written i love mairuma sm)

2. Kageyama Shigeo 🌻 Mob Psycho 100

one of my favorite characters in mp100 it was hard to choose but i ultimately decided on mob! related to him so much i cried multiple times while watching the series (never skipped the opening it's such a banger). he's so nice and cool, and so damn relatable. he's got his funny moments too, despite being a strong psychic/esper he just wants to live his life regularly and not thinking himself as above others. this series is 100% fantastic, if you want a new anime to watch or manga to read, 100% recommend

3. Agatsuma Zenitsu ⚡ Demon Slayer

honestly i was so annoyed at him and his crying but realized: "Oh i relate to him" so that was a crisis /lh. but yeah i can see how his crying and whining can get annoying and get many fans to dislike him, but seeing his backstory, experiences, and just basic personality remove the crying. i'll be crying every day if i were him too. he's just so cool and awesome, he gets confidence whenever he falls asleep but when he wakes up his self esteem and confidence plummets, he only knows one breathing form but he mastered it to the T!

4. Akane Aoi ⏳ Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun

akane aoi! idk why but he's just really cool, part supernatural, clock keeper of the present. his 'love' for aoi is more of an obsession with her. his entire character revolves around her, and that's gotta spark some identity crisis within himself some day, i love it.

5. Furuichi Takayuki Beelzebub

oooo boy this series is an old one but i still love it with all my heart. furuichi takayuki! best friend of tatsumi oga! the tactician/general of the delinquent school, ishiyama high! he's known as the 'Perverted' character and gets beat up for it a l o t in canon but i love how its not his ONLY defining trait, they also handled the pervert issue in my favorite arc in the manga and showed how one-dimensional and shallow the characters see him. he's so well-written and fleshed out and his entire character is *chef's kiss* i love him so much and can go in an entire rant about him but this is long enough.

6. Cheslock 🎻 Black Butler

he gave me so much gender envy when i first saw him. please he's so cool and despite his punk aesthetic he's a musical genius i cant wait to see him get animated. he's actually a side character but honestly i dont care i just love that he exists but is chronically underrated please-

7. Jun'ichiro Tanizaki ❄️ Bungo Stray Dogs

ok first up- his relationship with his sister is 100% WEIRD, there is a chance that theyre not actually related but it's still quite weird to do romantic acts with someone you openly call a sibling. disregarding that, tanizaki is a force to be reckoned with ngl, he's scary when he needs to be, his ability is strong and the way he utilizes it is amazing. he looks so harmless but he can actually kill you. i want his sweater right there it looks comfortable especially with the long sleeves i can hide my hands in as well

8. Zuko 🔥 Avatar: the Last Airbender

need i explain more. he's ZUKO. the ORIGINAL bad guy gets redemption arc, but done 100% RIGHT. they gave him a tragic backstory, stubborn and determined personality, funny personality and memorable quotes, and the most memorable hair journey. flameo hotman.

i love him sm, he's so funny and cool, radiates sm gender envy too and i want to steal his entire closet. despite being a demon he's undeniably not Evil, he causes mischief efficiently, and i love efficiency.

Here's something for you! Thanks for the ask, anon, I like this one (:

You’re a member of Team Prime, so Ratchet is around you a lot. He is very observant and quick to pick up on the fact that you’ve got some deeper issues going on by just seeing how you act; grumpy, secluded, flinching/jumpy when others try to touch you, deflecting anyone’s concern with a defensive rudeness constantly.

He understands and is worried for you a lot but doesn’t want to pry or make it worse, so he just leaves you alone. If he sees you panicking or lashing out, he tries to redirect and comfort you the best he can, but he doesn’t do much more than that. All he can do is lend an audial when you want it, and you never seem to want it.

But then it happens for the first time. He’s recharging in peace for once, excited to catch up on rest when he’s startled awake by a tiny servo shaking his shoulder. He shoots up and almost attacks on instinct, only to see that it’s you. 

Oh.

He looks at you quizzically, waiting for you to say something. Is it an emergency? Decepticons? Health scare? ...Nope. All you do is open your arms and look at him rather pitifully, so he does the only thing he knows how in response to that and pulls you into his arms. He’s under the assumption that you must’ve had a nightmare and came to him for comfort, and while he’s unsure of why you opted for him instead of a gentler bot, he figures it’s because the two of you are more similar.

He holds you throughout the night without a word, your body resting on his chest and his digits gently scraping up and down your back to soothe you. 

Then he wakes up the next morning and you aren’t there. He almost thinks he imagined it... But then it happens another time, and then another, and eventually, it’s happening almost every night. He can’t deny that the recent intimacy has brought up some deep, untouched feelings inside of him that he’s long-repressed because you’re too vulnerable, too troubled, too defensive, etc. It starts to bother him because now, every time you’re there, his cheeks are red and his spark is slamming hard and fast against his chest. 

You seem a little more at ease, though, and that’s all that matters to him, so he tolerates it for a while the best he can... at least until he reaches a breaking point.

Optimus gets a gnarly injury during a battle that Ratchet has to tend to for a solid three days with no rest. Finally, the Prime is stable and Ratchet gets to rest... only for you to interrupt again. He does what he always does and holds you close to him, but it’s accompanied by him snapping, too; “Primus, (y/n), you really need to stop this. What’s the point?”

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

Annnnd a talk comes up, of course. Ratchet asks why you chose him, what your intentions are, etc etc. You basically confess that you’ve always liked him so he was just your go-to on instinct when your nightmares started getting really bad again and you needed touch/comfort to ground you. Plus, unlike the others, he knew not to bring it up and embarrass you, so you could let your guard down around him. 

He tells you that he likes you, too, and the two of you start dating. He moves you into his room and you share a bed, which solves most of your problems. Your relationship is on the DL but you also don’t mind people finding out so everyone catches on pretty quickly. 

Ratchet laughs at all your vulgar, fucked up humor when no one else will and you do the same for him. It works very well <3

If you're interested to read the disjointed, rambling Ratchet mini analysis I wrote during my lunch break today, then buckle up kids:

Idk if this is canon or fanon but I love the idea that Ratchet, while a fantastic doctor, still struggled in establishing himself post residency bc of his attitude (and his superiors being intimidated by his skill and intellect), and that the reason he was made CMO of the Prime (Nova, I believe) was bc he didn't play politics and Nova wanted an excellent physician who would treat him without ulterior motives. Being the Prime's doctor is a big fucking deal, but Ratchet was still just a medic, he wasn't like... known for all of the things he became known for during the war. Folks knew he was picked bc he was a political nobody, but the general public didnt know how talented he was. Then Orion became a prime and chose Ratchet as his CMO (bc Optimus knew Ratchet wouldn't ever say no to him, as his friend, and he wanted to exploit that), and he was forced to become an Icon, he was supposed to represent all of what a medic could be, he was the miracle worker, the mech with the magic hands, the bot who could rip a mech's spark back from Mortillus himself. He stopped being his own person as soon as he took OP's "offer" to be the Autobot CMO, and thats a bit part of why he held onto the title so fiercely, even after the war was over: he didnt want/couldnt trust anyone else to live the way he did, to fill that impossible role. Least of all his apprentice!! First Aid was more than capable of being the CMO, but Ratchet didnt wanna put that on the kids shoulders. Plus, after 4 million years, Ratchet didnt have an identity outside of being Autobot CMO. He was nothing. A walking miracle worker, the best of the best, but he wasn't Ratchet, he was a walking Symbol that he and Optimus created.

Another reason why he was su1c1dal at the start of MTMTE. The war was over, they didnt need an Autobot CMO anymore, just a CMO to the Prime. And with his hands failing, that Symbol was shattered and he could no longer fill that role. He was nothing without his hands. He couldn't perform the same miracles as he did during the war, when he saved Optimus' spark again and again and again when the mech was barely more than a smudge on the tarmac.

He joined the Lost Light to find someone who would be willing and capable of being a new symbol. Not First Aid, not the kid (despite how insanely talented and ingenius he is), but... someone else. A fool's errand, maybe, but he was going to continue working until he literally couldn't anymore, regardless.

Im just! Thinking a lot about Ratchet and how much the war took from him. Not just the millions of mechs he couldn't save or who died anyway after he fixed them, but what it took from him personally.

and THEN, when he finally found happiness, JRO took one last fucking jab at him by having his body just. Stop. Like, as soon as he finds some inner peace and moves outside of the CMO role with someone who loves him for who he is, after he replaces his failing hands, after seemingly moving past all of the trauma that Pharma caused him, he fucking beefs it. So needless! So hurtful!

it further established for Drift that he's meant to be alone, that anyone close to him will get hurt: he's lost every single person he ever trusted or was close to??? And Ratchet never thought he'd see the end of the war, he acted as a reminder of how fucking hard the war was on old bots. He saw Cybertron in its Golden Age, saw it fall, saw the war through every stage, until it finally ended. He never thought hed make it that far! He survived, by some miracle. Even the LL was supposed to be his swan song, but he found??? Love??? Someone who saw past his gruff exterior and scaled his emotional walls and loved him for the mech he was, not the Infamous Miracle Worker with the magic hands. They both found happiness against all odds and it was ripped away!!! For nothing!! For shock value!!

idk I think it’s fun to explore the concept of a chosen one in regards to tf rollback because hot rod is technically the chosen one but he’s also technically not one

when primus becomes sentient after being exposed to cosmic energy she is able to see the future and various different timelines. she knows that the autobots and decepticons will fight and that unicron and the quintessons will come back. and so primus creates the matrix of leadership before she falls into slumber for the cybertronians to pass down continuously until it reaches him.

primus choses hot rod because she thinks he can do it, because he has the personality and the strategic ability to do right where everyone else has done wrong. importantly, though, she chooses him because she thinks he will enjoy it- once he gets past the trials and tribulations of becoming the new leader, he’ll enjoy finally being challenged and being able to help people and being himself, at his peak. she choses him because he’s the only one who can do it, and because she loves him. she gives him the matrix like an old friend offering a parting gift.

if hot rod TRULY did not want the matrix, if he truly rejected her offering, primus would have given it to someone else. but hot rod, once he understands that primus chose him because she really thinks he’s capable of doing it, would never give up the matrix. hot rod’s core traits are his determination and stubborn hope. and if hot rod would never give up the matrix once he understands that he’s the best chance they have for a better future, then is it fate? if he would never say no, based on his character?

show pony lived in the timeline where optimus stays prime and hot rod stays hot rod and that universe was doomed and destroyed by the quintessons. show pony sees first hand the difference that hot rod’s leadership as rodimus creates, that the war is stopped thanks to him, that unicron is put back to sleep and cybertron/primus isn’t destroyed, and the matrix of leadership is used by hot rod to decimate the quintessons. hot rod makes decisions that optimus never would have done- that optimus HAS never done, in the countless timelines the quintessons have destroyed. that’s why the matrix is given to him- because he’s the only one who thinks like he does, and thus is the only one who can make things right.

primus choses him but it’s not so much divine intervention as it is just wanting to help. it isn’t fate because by all means hot rod WASNT supposed to become prime- show pony’s time travel created the butterfly effect. but primus has been waiting for him to become prime this entire time. it’s not fate but at the same time hot rod could never deny the matrix and thus it sort of becomes fate. a different outcome could not have happened once hot rod receives the matrix and speaks to primus. the story then becomes inevitable, but only until that point.
