— holding your hand in public

public affection is one of his favourite things to express. sometimes you wouldn’t notice it, but he would always have his hand holding yours; either fingers intertwined, his finger hooked around yours, or his palm over yours. he loves being around you, seeking your warmth and your touch every chance he gets. whenever confronted, he would only smile and kiss the back of your palm, squeezing it gently before saying that he wants everyone to know that you're his.

he’s the type who doesn’t like you lifting your fingers unnecessarily. he would always walk ahead to open the door before you even got the chance to reach for the handle. like the gentleman he is, he would lean slightly against the doorframe as he holds the door for you to walk through. in public spaces, your home or your front door, he always has it covered. it’s a very simple gesture, but it will always remind you that he cares for you.

a true gentleman he is. he loves getting on his knees for you, ready to serve. bending over to tie your shoelaces, he would always look up at you and watch the warm smile on your lips as he does something so simple for you, lighting a smile on his own face. during the first few times, you would grow flustered watching him get down to help you with your laces, especially if you were both in public. but you soon grew used to it, gently brushing your fingers between his soft locks. once he finishes and stands up, he always gives you a small kiss on the forehead before the two of you continue with what you were doing prior.

your hair is one of his favourite things about you. often taking a few strands of your locks and twirling them between his fingers, he loves playing with your hair. he always has a keen eye for the details. and whenever he sees your hair slightly messy or a strand is loose, he would arrange your hair for you, carefully and gently fixing and styling it for you. it’s a small but sweet gesture he always does for you, kissing your hair once he finishes arranging it. he loves seeing the sweet, giddy smile on your lips as he pulls back from your hair.

— memorises your favourite drink/food orders

whenever the two of you go out, he would always do the talking with the waiters or servers, especially if you are the anxious type. that being said, he would take the time to remember your orders and preferences, keeping them in mind for whenever you go out. when the server asks for your orders, he would turn to you before asking if you would like your usual. sometimes, he would tell the waiter your order without asking, surprising you with how well he remembers. he would brush it off, saying that he always makes an effort to remember everything about you, especially the little things like this.
