He’s also big on playful touches, holding your hand, squeezing it gently, or resting his hand on your thigh while driving. He def likes it when you're holding onto his arm or leaning into him, it makes him feel good knowing you're reaching out for him just as much as he does for you. He’s tactile in a casual, unspoken way, always reaching out to connect with you.

He’d call you simple pet names or silly nicknames, nothing too over the top. When he’s talking about you in interviews or with friends, it’s always, “My baby did this” or “My girl said that” with that casual and proud tone that shows how happy he is to have you in his life and to show you off.

We all know Ben to be very agreeable and social amongst so many people so I think if you were to start off as friends, he'd be constantly trying to make you laugh, bantering, teasing you and have casual touches like bear hugs when he sees you, fist bumps, hi-fives; the whole lot.

I think he'd want his partner to be able to riff back and forth with him - make jokes, mock and trashtalk him a bit but also support him and keep him smiling. I imagine on his off days when he has a bunch of things to do, like cleaning his car and grocery lists, he'd want you to tag along and bribe you with food, not that you needed a bribe. He doesn’t like unnecessary drama negativity or toxicity, he’s all about keeping things light and fun, so constant complaining or bad vibes would get under his skin. He likes it when you run your fingers through his hair while he’s falling asleep and murmur words of affirmation and love. It relaxes him instantly, and he’ll murmur little thank-yous, kiss your skin softly or give sighs of contentment until he drifts off completely. If he wakes up in the middle of the night, he’ll check on you, making sure you’re comfortable and pulling the blanket over you if it’s slipped off, making sure you're nice and tucked in. Ben might also wake up early, but he’ll stay in bed a little longer, just lying there next to you, content in the quiet moments of the morning.

The tow truck pulls out of the parking garage, trailing your lifeless hunk of metal behind it as Minho turns to you, hands tucked into his pockets.

“Thanks for…coming out to help me so late,” you mumble, hands busying themselves with your jacket sleeves as your eyes watch the concrete. He hums, not trying to draw out the already tense atmosphere. He knows better.

He knows why you’re so stiff.

You two situate yourselves into his car, and he’s asking something about how long your car will be in the shop, but you barely register it. Three days, you feel yourself say, but you don’t really know.

You don’t really care either.

“Who’s going to drive you to work until then?” He turns in his seat to face you. A small part of you wishes he hadn’t.

“I haven’t thought that far ahead yet.” You force yourself to not meet his piercing gaze, and thankfully he sighs, looking out the windshield.

“I’ll drive you.”

“You don’t have to-”

“It’s already on my way to work, and I already know your schedule,” he states calmly, ignoring the way your eyes flicker to his lips. “It’s nothing, really.”

You know you can’t change his mind, and you also don’t want to, so you press your lips together, not-so-unintentionally wetting them as you did so.

“Thanks.”

“Don’t sweat it.”

There’s a faint hum in the car. Minho hasn’t clicked it into gear yet. There’s a little red symbol blinking on his dashboard and you figure he’s overdue for an oil change. Someone is walking out to a dumpster a ways away from his car, and your ears barely pick up the way the lid slams when the worker carelessly lets it drop. Minho is mindlessly rubbing the leather on the steering wheel. He doesn’t normally do that.

You thought those details would be enough to distract you.

But it’s never enough.

Nothing is ever enough if it’s not Lee Minho.

He lets out a small breath of air, and you can see the frustration in his eyes as he quickly checks the surroundings. The small voice in your head screams at you, because you know you shouldn't be here like this, but he turns back to you and squanders the remaining sanity in your brain as he leans into your face.

And it’s hot and desperate and fast, the way your lips move against each other, the way your hands fist in his hair and grab at his collar, the way one too many curse words slip out of his mouth; but there’s no time to think about that, not when his hands are on you, igniting a fire that you’ve tried to put out time and time again.

And it’s dizzying, the way he tears himself away from you after a few seconds of sinful bliss, because the guilt rocks your entire body like a boat caught in a summer storm, and you’re not used to dealing with the consequences of your actions this soon.

“We can’t,” he pants, “we can’t keep doing this.”

You stare at him, shirt slightly crushed where you had gripped him from earlier and hair an absolute mess, and despite how enticing as he looks you nod, because he’s right.

You can’t.

Unfortunately you’re a pair of liars.

And it’s not even you who pulls the other back in, how ironic.

You take it upon yourself to move into a more comfortable position, one that lands on his lap, and he exercises his restraint for a few moments more before his hands land on your hips, helping you move faster over the gear shift.

Maybe you’re moving too fast but you can’t help it, his hips are positioned under yours just right and it’s not long before you’re grinding down against him. You expect him to hold you off of him and call it quits, not groan into your mouth and hold you closer like he’s doing now, and it takes every fiber in your body not to whimper back into his lips.

Your jacket disappears in the wake of his desperation, and there’s finally more skin-on-skin contact between you two. His fingertips burn with the knowledge that what’s happening is far from right, but the fire building inside you makes it feel like heaven, makes him feel like heaven, and you long for his fingertips to run under your shirt, where they definitely do not belong.

And they do.

So yours work their way to the hem of his jeans, tired of the leather that’s holding them together, and he breaks the kiss, hopefully to tell you to stop.

What he says next, unfortunately, doesn't surprise you.

“We need to stop getting ourselves into this situation.”

You look up from his belt, watching as the shame glosses over his eyes and you nod, feeling a pang of guilt rise in your stomach.

But the need between your thighs temporarily stalls the negative emotion, and before you can apologize for letting the situation escalate this far again, he’s the one undoing his belt.

At least you’re not the only one at fault here.

And the pressure between your thighs is finally satisfied as he lets you ride him, lips sucking on your neck hard enough to make you gasp but not hard enough to leave marks. For obvious reasons.

“Fuck baby,” he halts his trail of neck kisses, “if you were gonna take my cock this well you should have called me earlier.”

You wish hearing him say that didn’t make you feel so good.

He meets you halfway in slow, lazy thrusts, which makes you feel every ridge of him through the latex separating you two, and suddenly you’re crushing the fabric at his shoulders now too.

“You like that huh?” With the way you clench around him, he doesn’t need verbal confirmation, but he edges it out of you regardless. “You like when I fuck you like that?”

“Yes-”

“Yes what?”

“Y-Yes Minho.”

“That’s my girl.”

Oh, how that couldn’t be farther from the truth.

You whisper something about wanting him to go harder, faster, and he’s compliant, seemingly not in the mood to tease you. Or maybe, judging from the way he was gripping you, he was just close.

The glass is fogging up.

There is a foreseeable end in sight, and you feel relieved, after weeks of not having any sort of real release. To be fair, last time was supposed to be the last time. As well as the time before that.

And the time before that.

But you chase away the guilt creeping up again with your own fingers, rubbing away at your clit with a determination that even Minho doesn’t have chasing his own high.

He knows how badly you need it though, so he slams up into you the same way that made you finish the last time.

Suppose there’s no such thing as a good time when there’s nothing good about what you’re doing.

Which is why although you want to, you shouldn’t complain about a ringtone slicing through the humid atmosphere of the car.

Both of your hips come to a halt, and it takes a moment for your brain to recognize the ringtone to see if the call is urgent.

It is.

And the high that you were close to reaching comes plummeting to the ground as soon as you read the caller ID.

ok so lemme tell you i had the BIGGEST reading slump ever just as i started to read this. so this review may be a little choppy at some points because i've just pointblank forgotten some parts and don't wanna go back and re-read finny's pov just yet.

i was so on the fence about reading this because on one hand i really wanted to read finny's pov and on the other, complete and utter heartbreak.... yeah....... so anyway i read it.

when i tell you that this book had me ugly crying in the middle of the night. like seriously finny's pov?? fucking broke me. are you kidding me? the way he speaks about autumn? ugh when am i gonna find a guy like finny fr? but seriously this book had me on a rollercoaster of emotions just from the heartbreak knowing whats already gonna happen to finny as he describes how happy he is and how he can't believe autumn loves him back, to the smile i had on my face reading about 'the moms' bickering over baby stuff for autumn.

i will say this now i did expect a little more (hence the rating). i wanted idk more closure at the end there. idk rlly know how to describe it better since its 10 o'clock at night and ive had zero sleep for the past four nights in a row. but yeah i wanted something more. (bitch u wanted finny to be alive)

(also to be fair i was still sobbing from finny's pov so that probably didn't help) like i seriously just thought it'd be some jock trying to process finny's death by hooking up with alexis (who by the way can go jump up her own ass and die) but we got the whole other side of him where he was genuinely affected by finny's death and really was his best friend. but the way he didn't like autumn way just- yeah. also i saw him and sylvie coming from a mile away like seriously it wasn't very subtle.

Somebody asked about LGBTQIA+ on the modernity blog and I just want to clear something up on Fordsy's end to avoid accidentally offending people or making room for misinterpretation on my end. I'm not perfect and frankly I'm still figuring my way around the community as well so please forgive me if I make a mistake or need correcting.

Actually, if you guys could help me better shape things for this AU regarding such topics feel free to drop me an interaction on this post so we could talk because I would genuinely appreciate it.

Anyhow, as far as I'm concerned, in this AU Ford is closest to the AroAce label. I say closest because he doesn't exactly experience romance or that kind of attraction but he feel a distinction towards somebody who he's friendly with(i.e. Fiddleford) vs somebody who he is very very close with(Bill). It almost borders romantic but at the same time not inherently, but it's still not 100% platonic if you squint.

I wouldn't pin him as flux, because it's not like the attraction switches on and off. There's just different levels of that "closeness". I wouldn't say he's pan or bi either because his attraction to people isn't necessarily romantic in nature either. I know there's a lot more but generally this is just how I've condensed things based on my own understanding(which I'm very sure is LACKING HELP-). Also, I get this thing isn't all black and white but again I do not know what I'm entirely doing I just consult google and Reddit and hopefully I'm not being a dummy.

As it stands, Ford himself doesn't really see the point in most labels so he generally doesn't care for them. A part of him takes solace in the fact that he is his own strain of weird and that makes him hard to replicate/replace. Hence why he doesn't bother with the labels either, just that he uses he/him pronouns. So if asked he'd probably genuinely just be like: "Idk" mans never actually checked and he's just vibing.

It's that kind of "Tralse" answer you'd put on a test when the question is neither true or false LOL

And imma be fr, the only reason why he'd even only be aware about most of these things is because Stanley had that point in his life where he was like: "omfg am I gay??? No wait I still like girls though???" In highschool because ya know, crushes are a huge thing and Ford also never genuinely having one was also an odd point for him.

The household they lived in during that time didn't really help things on this front either.

So yeah, Ford is in that space of where he doesn't really care to have a label but is inherently aware that he doesn't fit the cishet mold. It doesn't bother him for the most part, but he is generally very confused by all of this because of he doesn't typically feel like he "fits" anywhere.

This isn't to say he's indecisive, just very painfully unsure. Stanley on the flip side is very much: "I have two hands I can like both men and women fuck you guys I'm greedy-" which I think is hilarious.

Caryn and Shermie are generally also just: "You like who you wanna like, who are we to judge?" So they pretty much just vibe too LOL

honestly? it could've been worse.

lots of things happened in 2023, both good and bad, in real life and on this hellsite. i feel like i've started to hone in on my voice as a writer this year, and my creativity and motivation just seemed to skyrocket for absolutely no reason. it's been fun sharing my work with you guys, and i'm forever grateful for all the love and support i have received <3 furthermore, thank you so so much for 4k followers!!!!! i never thought i would reach such a milestone, so it truly means a lot :')

there's a lot i wish i could have done during 2023 that i didn't end up doing, but i think it is best to focus on what i did accomplish and use that as a stepping stone towards better things. also, there were a lot of times where i didn't feel content with where and who i was. right now, however, i can confidently say that i am happy; i am hoping that happiness will be abundant for everyone in 2024! we all deserve it!!

I NEED TO DISSECT THAT SEQUENCE UNDER A MICROSCOPEOREN S NADJSDLKS:DS I love just. I already mentioned the voice acting and the model comparisons before but OH MY GOHOHOHOHOOD. The Atlas designs really do feel like matured versions of their Beacon counterparts I am SHOOKETH that was so fucking GOOD I VLOE UP Also I'm just now noticing the shot contrast between the Beacon girls posing the offers and the Atlas girls rejecting them. The focuses on their mouths and the deceptiveness of what they're offering at first contrasted with the eye closeups and the determination/soul that comes with them. It makes me so god-damned EMO

BLAKE PULLING OUT GAMBOL SHROUD'S KATANA RIGHT AS SHE SAYS "MY LIFE." THIS WEAPON HAS BEEN WITH HER THROUGH EVERYTHING. THE WHITE FANG THROUGH ADAM THROUGH HER STRUGGLES WITH HER PARENTS THROUGH TO THE HEALING SHE GOT THROUGH MEETING RWY AND YANG. FRAMING THE GOLDEN MEND RIGHT IN THE CENTRE OF THE FRAME/LIGHT. AND BC EVERYTHING ELSE IS PURPLE LIKE THAT IT JUST STANDS OUT SO MUCH EVEN THOUGH IT'S SO TINY. THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THAT MEND ON THAT BLADE IS SO FUCKING KEY TO BLAKE AS A CHARACTER. The way Yang doesn't lash out or gets aggressive but just. She's being firm but also tries to be a guide to her younger self. She knows that the way she was normally taught would be either through rushing into it and finding out the hard way or from... Tai! And that method is not ideal to say the least. He tries but pushes her in the wrong way, with a lot of insults involved in some form (lost a brain cell along with that arm, your semblance is a temper tantrum, groaning at her hesitance at wearing her arm for the first time, I wanted a better goodbye than a letter etc.). I feel like she's using this opportunity to be the type of guide she's always wanted to be for others (namely Ruby) but also the kind she wishes she had for herself in life. Her life's always set her up to be a risk-taker and rush into things head on (all the way down to her semblance) and I'm realy happy that, in a way, she's finally taking the time to tell herself that what she really needed was to slow the fuck down. It's so fucking sad but also so good I'm OUGHHGHGH. The difference between Yang and Tai is empathy and it means the world.

Weiss' section oh god Weiss' section. Her speech has been sung about to death by now but it's just so iconic of her tbh. But can I just say I freaking LOVE the way she just has so much SASS. Honestly the best way to shut down pre-Beacon Weiss is with her own poison. But a detail I spotted that I really enjoy that's kinda hard to focus on at first cus big camera movement is her head movements when she say "I am" that was peak sass. But fr tho, I love the way she points her sword right at younger Weiss' nose like that.

Also the differences in the two's silhouettes and colours is some of my favourites, I love the contrast between the white laced with that tiny bit of red for rebellion and really faded Blue, only to over time gradually gain much bolder, more vibrant colours and a bigger form. Her v1 design is my favourite shape-wise still but if this isn't a massive parallel to how Blake's designs have evolved over the years idk what is.

Also I love the way she looks so confident when she plants Myrtenaster in the ground. Reminds me of Arma Gigas planting its sword to the ground in this context. She really reclaimed it so fucking hard in this scene I am going to blow up

For the most part you really steer clear of the rowdy group of Slytherin boys. They’re loud, and egotistical, and just not worth the headache.

The first time you run into Enzo is quite literal. You’re agitated enough with the boy as it is, he and his friends had been causing a ruckus in the library for the past hour and you were just done.

You don’t realize that the boy had appeared behind you in the maze of shelves until it’s too late and suddenly you’re in a mess of tangled limbs, sprawled across the floor.

Enzo, of course, is used to girls melting in his hand and naturally tries to charm you, but you’re having none of it, stalking off before he’s able to even get a name.

But boy does he love a challenge.

The next day, he sidles up next to you in the corridor, ramping up the charm as he insists on walking you to your next class.

He’s not at all prepared for the sharp bite of your words. Usually girls are falling over themselves to agree with every little thing he says, but your witty, sarcastic responses catch him off guard.

Everything about you really throws him for a new one. And he’s just so intrigued.

He tries approaching you again in the library, attempting to talk up the novel you're reading. (It goes horribly. After that encounter, you're half convinced he's illiterate.)

But he's just obsessed.

He likes the way that you’re pretty and confident, and yet seem to slip into the shadows, hiding in plain sight. And the way you’re willing to go toe-to-toe with him.

He continues popping up, despite your rather clear initial disinterest. But as you spend more time together, he begins to grow on you slowly, more and more. Like a mold. Or a fungus.

One day, you notice that Enzo is significantly more agitated than normal. Broody and clearly in some type of mood.

You know it’s none of your business, but the library is unusually quiet and you can’t seem to get any reading done- so you bite the bullet and ask what’s bothering the boy.

And boy does it come pouring out. The wreckage that is his home life, the pressure of having eyes on him all the time, the fact that Mattheo and Theodore had somehow managed to flood their dorm.

It was a side of Enzo you'd never seen before. You weren't actually completely convinced that he even had human emotions before this. But it was nice.

He'll later be very shocked that his depressive rant is what somehow won you over. (Trauma Bond™️)

It all spirals from there though. It starts with hesitant fingers brushing each other from across the table, then "friendly" cuddling by the library fireplace, then stolen kisses in the crevices of the corridors.

Enzo loves showering you with love and attention. He has no qualms about planting a warm kiss on your lips in front of a crowd, but is equally content to smother you in the privacy of your own dorm room.

His favorite thing is the way you trace little phrases on the back of his hand or his arm when you don't want to say it out loud and has picked up on doing it himself when he can tell that you're stressed.

You balance each other out in the best way and Enz loves the fact that he has you all to himself.

hello m i hope you are well. i read chapter 7. nearly cried. tears of joy and also tears of being in the closet.

i'll say the lighthearted things first. high steve booping noses, asking for kisses, needing cold water. i want him, need him, and want to be him. as a certified public transportation girlie, the bus schedule concerns me greatly. wdym it comes every few hours?? fuck dude the mayor needs to stop taking bribes and start putting that money to city infrastructure cuz damn!!! bug squatting down at a movie theatre.......oooo you know people in that front row were mad as hell they weren't getting their premium ten cent experience.....

secondly, steve and bug.......coming off the high of the kiss omg.... the entire earnestness with which they feel for each other is so endearing. the part where steve tells her her beauty scares him and all she thinks i show much his beauty scared her......their twin flames for real....burning a candle together like no other...cut the cameras on me for real. genuinely taking a moment within all the chaos to appreciate how beautiful he is.....stuff of stars. also i loved when bug said this, "I think he’s as sweet as honey in July.” very southern mom thing to say and by southern mom i mean my dad. also these two lines: "To love someone is to know that they deserve your love." "Steve hadn’t known gentleness until he met you." Love working as a force that helps steve see his worth, help bug see her worth, and strive steve to be a better person is so much, so near and dear to me.....the solace they find in each other is amazing truly. also steve johnathan and nacy being so very uncomfortable at the news oooo your local core 4 group is undergoing a CRISIS BABE!

Okay now the big thing, which is the robin coming out scene..........omg. i liked how tender it felt how much it felt. robin picking at old wounds about bug and steve knowing it would hurt her.....terrible terrible time...... but seriously, and i am trying not to get too serious right now, as someone who is largely in the closet and will likely remain there for some time, this was really, really beautiful. robin coming out the moment she found people she was and comfortable enough to be vulnerable with was very veryyyy real, and the way that she felt she had to do it as soon as she was safe and that she wouldn't be punished for it </3. made me sob for her. bug holding her hand through it was very.....idk soft and tender, and i thought it was nice that bug got to share that part of herself too, liking nancy wheeler is very much an understandable activity, esp in s3 she looked so fucking good! just very sweet and nice for both of them, esp robin. she survived the having a crush on a girl with a bf canon event :D!! so proud of her!! picking at it like a wound was also delightful imagery, and it was such a good description of what it feels like sometimes, this thing you have to be investigating even when it feels like you shouldn't for various reasons but with you regardless.

bug n steve were so cute in this chapter and im all giddy waiting to finally write them as a couple 🫶 theyre twin flames fr fr. and the line “to love someone is to know that they deserve your love” is a line i thought of a few years ago. ive waited so long to use her in my writing. i think it captures the trust within love and it really has stuck with me. i was so so so happy to finally have a place for the line in my writing <3333

except earlier this week I was standing out my store and he was walking so close to the storefronts and right we he passed me (yall I’m lame I was watching a boy next door TikTok 💀) he made it a point to put a gap between it and where he walked but like AFTER her passed me. and in my defense I fr didnt notice him till I was like who tf walking so close lmao and then I was like it’s this stupid bitch 🩷

anyways I’ll give you some weird encounters with 🩷 and 💙

so another one with 🩷 another time I went out with my friends, I was sitting in a booth trying to ignore the fact that this mf was standing a little away with his friends and YALL. WHEN I TELL YOU no matter where 🩷 and I stand in a room, no matter how many people were with, we always manage to face each other. like even if he showed up after me or I after him. it just happens ídem. BUT ANYWAY my friend was talking to me standing but I couldn’t hear him so he had to bend down to talk to me cause I was sitting and lmao 😭I was gonna try and sneak a quick peak at 🩷 since my friend had been blocking me but tell me why 🩷 WAS ALREADY STARING. like we was both waiting for my friend to move out the way lmaooo

another time with 🩷, the make up store is at the end of the hall so it’s perpendicular to the barbershop ( ┬ ) and ngl I don’t always do my makeup bc tf but on weekends or days that I actually have time I do. I do my makeup on the weekends cause I know fine shyts will be there lmaooo but anyways if I forgot my lip liner or eyelash glue or something I just go to the makeup store and buy a new one lol. so I been in go to makeup store I’m trying to be mysterious 🎀 and not look toward barber shop? But everytime I leave, I could see the mirrors in the barber shop and half the time I see exactly when 🩷 peeps me walking out and he always turns to look. literally all the barbers do and I wish I was lying but they’re men so they turn everytime they see a girl idek but it’s just funny how 🩷 is always already looking when I walk out

AND TELL ME WHY SOME KID CWME TO MY STORE TODAY WND GAVE ALL US bracelets with the barber shops name on it

anyways with 💙 they’re even dumber and more delulu

the first time I saw 💙, I was with my brother shopping for shoes. so my brother and I were like 👀 you see what I see? FOINE MAN 😂and I remember I was so excited to go with him to the register but tell me why my grandpa calls me as we get in line and me trying not to be that annoying customers who’s on the phone while someone is checking out, I get out of line. I’m talking to my grandpa and 💙 is just staring at me as he’s checking out my brother like hoe is u nosy?

so our management and I usually plan outfits on days we know we work together like we’ll do “witchy vibes” “y2k vibes” “camo or cargo pants” shit like that so we kinda match. sometimes when it’s really slow me and my work bestie will stand at the front and greet. well sometimes someone other than 💙 will be standing up front of the shoe store greeting. but then they’ll see one of us standing out our door and they’ll leave and suddenly 💙 is the one greeting people.

even if I’m out there by myself 💙 will switch with whoever is out there and he’d be the one greeting. keep in mind this was after we had established we worked across from each other. anyways like I said before you can tell this man is a S L U T. like he just looks like he gets bitches yknow and I was like girl it would never be me 😂and I still think that but I can’t even lie, I love flirting and nothing coming from it. like if I can just flirt with someone forever without them asking for my number or to link I’d be so happy lmao anyways, there’s another fine ass man who works with 💙 so we’ll call him 💜. he’s a manager too at his store with 💙 so lowkey we all are either opening or closing. so we see each other A LOT

anytime 💙 is out staring; 💜 joins him and they’ll look over, talk with themselves and smile and look over and sometimes I’m like “I bet they think we want them BAD” but like realistically I’m just on my phone or like greeting but you can just tell them they’re hot shit. like yeah they are but always fuck them lmao

anyways earlier I was up front doing recovery and every now and then I’d pass the store front. 💙 would be greeting, see me and leave, come back; look at me and do it all over again ALSO. 💙 is a tatted up motorcycle guy who is shy as fuck for being a slut. like we know mutual people and they say he doesn’t like to party anymore and he’s quiet so obviously that’s hot but he’s such a bum lmao 💀

At least 🩷 has money, travels, has tattoos, speaks Spanish, yes also a slut but like he drives a hellcat 😳🫣

anyways 💙 always gives shy vibes but also slutty and honestly we were so busy today idgaf about him. tell me why 💜 goes into my store today and as you know I’m greeting and say hi and he’s like heheh neighbor but in a bit corny way and he does his shopping. Im standing up front and 💜 leaves, looks back at me asks if we’ve been busy blah blah blah. 💙 is standing at his storefront just watching and then 💜 looks back at him, goes back to store then they talk and look back at me

men are so weird and dumb but like such an interesting case study

and like I said, haven’t really been seeing 🩷 bc idk. I feel like he’s just been so attainable but neither one of us have done anything about it it’s kinda just getting bleh like the universe is probably mad at both of us for not making a move

and for 💙, he’s just a pretty man to look at. I know too much about him from other people to EVAAA — ok I’d fold for like a quick link but like I wouldn’t take him serious
