Mmmmm idk if Rich and Jay are more popular than Mike with fans! I think there might be some disingenuity with the way people talk about Rich bc he's always given the role of comedic relief and thus people talk about him like he's a walking meme. I think this is a leftover from the times when Mike and Jay treated reviewing as "the adults talking" (<- in their own words, forgot what HITB it was) that Rich should stay out of. He's technically a deity of sorts, but he's considered a more "unpure" one due to him not helping in the creation of the world and all. He's incredibly sociable, he loves to meddle with people and enjoys being cruel quite frequently. He often makes impressive things, and then takes them away when it's most convenient/funny for him to do so, just to cause problems. He acts like a shitty genie sometimes in the "here have your wish but HAHA I FUCKED YOU OVER WITH LITERAL WORDING-" way. He's not too unlike our world's Fae, he's just?? Kind of fucking a menace- He has a twisted sense of humor, and generally makes impulsive-ish choices that he fully dedicates himself to? He's very capable of thinking out long term though, he isn't stupid after all. He's an old ass deity- He holds grudges VERY firmly and abhors feeling slighted, which isn't surprising at all, but he isn't the worst about losing. He prefers to get what he wants but he kind of accepts the consequences of his actions when they hit him- (even if he doesn't like the fact that he was TOLD NOT TO DO IT-)

It's interesting. He's speculated to be sort of lonely, in all actuality. though im also critical of it, ragnarok is one of my favs especially cus it endeared me with brodinson interactions (shoutout elevator scene) but after that, i didnt like future loki portrayals. it somewhat flipped loki's aspirations, although i liked how he really seemed a god of mischief i wished for more digging into that. if i said "country boys make do" and did what what i could, then i look at loki betraying thor once more as his warped way of saying "we've come to deeper understanding of e/o more and idk how to be your brother but i want to, this is all i know." (i imagine his ass is that type in fights "IDC! LEAVE! *wants them to stay* i feel frigga was the only person who saw that in him growing up and was there).

coulson did say to him "you lack conviction"; loki's always kind of struggling with himself to find his genuine purpose whether w/ being a king or a brother.

after that though i didnt care for loki they just took his popularized character traits and made him shout them out every second "hehe thats just what loki does!" and things i wanted delved into weren't addressed, or when they were it was poorly. i only seen season 1 but its loki content i just distance from

personally, i liked loki's personality shining in ragnarok. but like this time tom hiddleston said "loki should be an entertaining character but also that there should be a shred of truth" thats how i feel. about all future loki. i think they saw the numbers that loki did in ragnarok, and then on fucked up portraying him, and his depth

personally, during my initial mcu watch, i did actually kind of enjoy ragnarok. although i did realize it’s issues such as pretty much everyone’s characterization (but especially loki’s), the way odin’s death was… Not as serious as it should’ve been, the way everything was too Haha funny joke, korg, the racist thor/bruce joke (which i will actually make a post about eventually), etc…

i did think it was a fun movie. it wasn’t until i rewatched it for a second time, after rewatching the thor movies/avengers 2012 that i realized.. yeah, this isn’t really that good and the earlier movies featuring thor, loki, or asgardians in general really were better.

personally, i prefer the humorous side of loki’s personality more in the dark world over the one in ragnarok. he was being funny and joking around, but it didn’t feel forced. it still felt like loki. in ragnarok, to me at least, it felt very forced and off for loki’s character. in the dark world, they didn’t necessarily have to belittle loki’s character and make him the laughing stock of the movie to make him funny. in ragnarok, they did.

and of course we see that continue a thousand times worse in the s*ries.

you are so right about the popularized character traits point. it’s like when people gossip about something, and as the word gets out to more people, it loses context and only leaves the very basic details of the gossip in the first place. that’s what they did with loki, pretty much. but that a thousand times over if this analogy even makes sense.

honestly do not even bother watching season 2 if you already know about the ending. i actually do think it was a little better than the first season. it was a little more interesting as well. but loki’s characterization was still HORRIFIC. there’s this interrogation type scene with one of the newer characters, this guy who works at the tva, and i guess they tried to make loki seem as though he’s still mischievous and working on his own accord instead of a goody two-shoes, pushover or whatever. idk man. whatever it was, it didn’t work.

and also they put this scene where he’s basically crying over mobius and various other tva workers to sylvie saying that he misses his friends (the friends in question being mobius and the most random tva workers ever) ??? 😭😭😭 i really do not believe that his ass was that devastated over these random ass characters who did not care about him…

basically, his personality was still more that of a silly little english man (not in a good way, trust me.) who works in a cubicle rather than a literal god/prince who speaks very eloquently and in old english. (taking this as an opportunity to say that i miss the old english/shakespeare in the park-esque way he and thor used to speak 😔 it was so fun.)

My thoughts on Trolls 3 & that Adam Sandler Lizard movie Leo (and also my thoughts on Wish)

So there's a lot to unpack here; let's start with the most basic, Trolls 3! It's adorable, nothing bad to say about it, good movie to watch with your family! For once I don't have a lot to say about a DreamWorks film, other than it was so cute and funny. I still prefer the first two but this was great and I loved the songs. I thought the 2D scene was a little bit weird my uncle thought the same. Didn't care for the villains' design but Velvet and Veneer were funny! I like how they had colorful lipsticks tho haha XD anyway, I recommend Trolls 3, see it in theaters if you still have time.

As for that Adam Sandler Lizard movie, it was great! It's called "Leo" and it's on Netflix. It kind of gets heavy when Leo finds out that he one year left to live and when he talks to the kids, it's amazing. I love how they tried to show different types of kids and different struggles they had. One girl talked to much, the other girl whose parents were going through a divorce, there was also a boy who was insecure about his voice and another one who was insecure about body hair, and I even liked how they didn't make the rich blonde popular girl be mean, they even showed her struggle too! There was also this one boy whose mom didn't allow him to play outside and be a kid and he had this drone follow him around all the time, and she even made him wear a hazmat suit inside his house which to me, was the most depressing. The part with the teacher, was on and off. I hated her for most of the movie but she even had redemption. The teacher at the beginning was really nice but it was the old lady teacher, idk man I didn't like her for most of the movie but at the end she's okay. I still think characters get redemption way too easily sometimes. Just my opinion... btw the humor was really good! It had that 90's Nickelodeon type of humor (like from CatDog or Rocko's modern life or Angry Beavers). Like, there were a few dirty jokes and just a few fourth wall breaks. Also, the movie had a good message. I wasn't expecting it to be a musical but it was. Let's just say that the songs weren't as good as Under the Boardwalk, but they weren't bad songs. Honestly, I even think the songs in Wish were better but Leo is over all a better movie and has a way better message.

About my opinion on Wish now, I don't recommend you watch it in theaters, unless you're a really wealthy person who can afford to see movies all the time. I mean, in my opinion it's a waste of time and money. It's better to watch it in the comfort of your own home on a free website, don't even watch it on Disney plus. There's a few reasons why but here's one of them https://www.instagram.com/reel/ but the other reason is because I don't think Disney deserves to make a lot of money form this. Part of me feels bad because I LOVE the character design, and the diversity. I feel bad for black girls, they can't get at least one modern Disney princess who from a good movie. Tiana's movie is old and she ends up marrying the dumb hunk prince when she just wanted to be a restaurant owner, Ariel is racebent but she's pretty cool even tho there's a war over her being black, and Asha's a sweet character but her movie doesn't make sense. Like, Wish's plot was all over the place; at first you were kind of on the king's side but they did make him out to be evil enough that you were on Asha's side. The hardest thing for me to understand was that at first she wanted the king to grant everyone's Wish because she wanted her grandpa to be happy since he was 100 years old, then she wanted to get her grandpa and mom's wishes back from the king, and then she wanted everyone to be happy but I was so lost... the only time I laughed was that one song and it showed the bear and the deer, and they called the deer "Bambi" as a joke, but really, it looked like Boog and Elliot from the Open Season franchise. The dancing chickens was pretty funny too, it reminded me of the Flip flop and fly scene in Chicken Run. Honestly, Wish isn't the worst Disney movie ever, but it's not that good. If you're planning on seeing it, know what you're in for. The story was incredibly boring as well, and the background characters barely had any personality or lines but were still cute (I like Asha's friends, especially the plus size girl in the red and also the girl with the yellow dress and blue thing in her hair). And like, the best thing about this movie had to be the character designs. Not only did it show race and skin color diversity, but it showed body type diversity as well! Some shows and movies just show skin color diversity and make the plus size characters the joke (like **cough cough** Total Drama show) but this movie actually have TRUE diversity! It's a shame that the story's a disaster because the designs were a 10/10... as for the story, it's a 4.5/10.

We've come to a conclusion. Watch Leo on Netflix and if you don't have Netflix, you can use kisscartoon, actvid, or whatever other free movie website you have. If you want to watch Wish I don't recommend seeing it in theaters but I'm not stopping you. (Please click the link to the video I sent). Also, Wish is better than most of the old Disney movies, don't go comparing it to peter pan or something, we know that movie's outdated and way worse than Wish. If you're a Trolls fan or just have any interest in seeing Trolls 3, GO SEE TROLLS 3 in theaters! I recommend it! And also, if you have any thoughts, whether you agree or not, just let me know. What each Stray Kids Member was like in Real Life

Bang Chan: OH MY GAWWD??? He was the one who shocked me the most. He looks so much more handsome in real life than pictures. He looks like a prince. I couldn’t get over how good looking he was. And his abs….were immaculate. Not to mention his chest..arms.. Adam’s apple.. like the man is GORGEOUS and pictures don’t do justice AT ALL. If you see him, you will be so shocked like??? I kept on gushing about him to my friend the whole night…. Unbelievable.

Changbin: okay people were screaming over him so much, like he was so popular with stays and I could TOTALLY SEE WHY. The way he dances is…and his rap LIVE???? Even better than anything I’ve heard on Spotify or CDs. It was so powerful & so clear. He definitely knows how to captivate the audience!! So much stage presence, humor, like whenever he would come near you can’t help but feel close to him. He’s so fun and interactive & down to earth.

Leeknow: no, I refuse to believe any human being could be THIS gorgeous. He was too shining like there’s a halo glowing from this perfect sculpture… he looked like the most handsome Japanese actor one could ever find. like..every part of his features were just so perfect. Like he looks good looking on screen, we all know that. But he looks even more beautiful in real life, like seriously, glowing.

Hyunjin: I…have no words. During soundcheck he came over to my section so many times. When I first saw him come over to my section…even his aura was so captivating. The way he walks. His gestures. His face was so….handsome doesn’t do it. He has something that really pulls you in. My heart was beating so fast. Even if he just moves casually to the rhythm, he’s like art??? I can’t say anything more because my heart still aches idk. too many emotions seeing him.

Han: okay I’m actually kinda sad because jisung is my bias wrecked and he didn’t come to my section, hardly at all so I never got to see him closely… 😭😭 but from what I observed, he was sooo interactive with the fans, like he would read so many signs and would talk to people, have funny reactions, and would smile such a big genuine smile that it made me happy. his live is so so so good too. and he’s always so funny haha

Felix: no. I will not be able to talk about him without crying…the boy’s literally an angel. he tried to go to every corner of the stage, he waved to his fans every chance he could get. he was so sweet and he never once stopped smiling. but also when he’s performing, he’s incredibly sexy and smooth & charismatic. I’m kinda sad he didn’t get to look at my section but I’m just glad he was literally trying to go to every corner and was waving constantly 😭😭 he’s so intentional and considerate..

Seungmin: yeah, seungmin was kinda bias wrecking me. his vocals? so stable. his voice is really clear and pretty…but on top of that, he kept smiling and looked genuinely so happy to see his fans. he would also point to many people, many signs and read them, and blow so many kisses haha! He made me laugh so much! And I think our eyes met once when we were both dancing to miroh (I was fairly close to him). he was so cute and charming 🫶

I.N.: okay this boys vocals improved so much and he’s really really stable & great at singing live.. I truly think he sounds even better live than on recordings. he was shy and cute, like you’d feel so protective over him. I was kinda sad he didn’t come by my section so I didn’t get to see him from that close but he was smiling the whole time too..I LOVED hearing him singing creep. That was unexpected but he did it so well 😭

- When you first join the forensic accounting firm, you find some of the personalities are... a lot. Unfriendly, loud, obnoxious- some of these people are definitely not here because of their skills.

- One of these such people is Zach, a case leader above the busy bees crunching numbers. Someone pulled strings on this guy, you were sure. Unprofessional, idiotic, way too touchy with the female employees...

- When you hear him call the man in the desk besides yours, "rain man", you feel your hackles raise. It was a moniker you'd heard before. Given to someone a little different (read: neurodivergent) with intelligence, particularly with numbers. Fuck Tom Cruise.

- You clear your throat, irritated. There's nothing you can really do, you know, but Zach seems to almost sneer as he walks off. The man at the desk turns to look at you.

- quietly you tell him, "Fuck that guy." You'd been on the receiving end of multiple names like that. Intended to mock. To pit you into stereotypes. To erase your identity as a person.

- The man smiles. His name is Edward. Edward Nashton. You're pretty open about being neurodivergent. Him... less so, but it's apparent he considers himself different to everyone else.

- Sometimes you two pass notes to each other while working. Little riddles or puzzles. He's... pretty amazing at them but he humors your attempts to outwit him. Nothing too distracting, you can tell how serious he is about the work.

- What you don't know- everything you cannot see, is bubbling under the surface of Edward Nashton. Nashton, even if he himself doesn't realize it at the exact moment, is going through a dark metamorphosis.

- He's uncovering the corruption of the city bit by bit. Finding allies on Enigma. Digging deeper into what he will become. Yet... he has someone in the real world who seems to actually like him. You.

- While not inherently romantic, he finds himself a tad obsessive about you when he has free time. His mind seems to keep coming back to how you are. If you're safe.

- This results in him finding a cctv route that follows you home from the office. Easy to flip to when he's watching footage of his targets. Just to make sure you're safe.

- You've protected him, he wants to do the same for you. This filthy city is so cruel to people like the two of you. He can be your guardian angel.

- That particular imagery gets more intense as time goes on...

on the surface, they're bantering. haha! we're not going to have sex, for a silly reason! because the idea of us having sex itself is a joke, and we're both in on the joke, right? right?

it's them reassuring each other that it's fine, even though for both of them, deep down, It's Not Exactly Fine.

also, a few lines ago, julie has literally realized that she loves him, specifically because he takes it easy on her, because he's figured out a way to be with her without making her feel like she needs to run, and without making her feel like she needs to act like someone else. he fucks up a lot, but he's trying, and does it all with his own humor and heart and she sees that and she loves him.

which is in strong contrast with mikey, cause she started off very much herself with mikey, but when they starting having sex she promptly fell into weird, somewhat unhealthy patterns of behavior where she was like 'it's casual! that means you can fuck me whenever, never text unless you feel like it, disappear for an entire week with no explanation, it's all fine. i pretend that watching you fall apart doesn't kill me, you pretend that neither of us have intense emotional involvement in this, and, you know, it's functional!' and then he dies.

it's so obviously fucked in retrospect, but she 100% did it to herself. mikey didn't even ask her to be like that. she just...wanted to be wanted and got scared about demanding anything more.

in many ways, do i know you? is a love triangle story where one corner of the love triangle is already dead. but mikey's ghost is often just around the corner.

so even though again it's all jokes on the surface, julie's memory of how she shrank herself down and didn't demand what she wanted/needed from mikey, the last man she loved, is obviously gonna have an impact on how she views her—very recent!—realization that she loves richie.

it’s been such a long day for both of you, apart and together. of course you’re getting messy, of course it’s time to go. you zip up your coat, run your hand through your hair. 

you can see her here already trying to diminish and dismiss and repress that realization. her feelings can be blamed on the long day she's had. and she doesn't even call them feelings, she calls them "getting messy". she zips up her coat, runs her hand through her hair; prepares to go outside and leave; tries to put herself together/look normal.

let me drive you, he says again. you wave him off. no, i need to walk. clear my head. it’s december in chicago, fuckin pitch black—  i’ll be fine. it’s christmas eve, are you really gonna punish me for a fucking joke?

the story's very much from julie's pov, and julie can be a pretty self-absorbed character. (honestly, when i was writing this, i didn't know if i'd get any readers making it several chapters in, because she's not always a particularly sympathetic, nice, good, or attractive character. so again, i'm THRILLED that literally anyone is reading!)

anyways yeah julie can be very self-absorbed. this is partly due to the hermitlike existence she's been leading—she hasn't had to engage with other people on a particularly complex, intense, or deep emotional level, and even her relationship with mikey was noticeably stunted in several ways—but it's also partly due to just being a personal flaw of hers. she's so self-absorbed, in fact, that she actually misses what's going on with richie because she's busy thinking about richie, paying more attention to the man in her head than the man standing right in front of her.

a parallel thing occurs in chapter three, when she's fantasizing about how she'd heat up leftovers for richie if she took him up to her apartment; how she'd take care of him, in another world where she was willing to be that vulnerable. but like, he's right there! she could take care of him by paying attention to him right then and there, especially because he's venting and literally all he needs in that moment is a listening ear.

do i know you? isn't just a line from chapter one or the title of the story, it's also me drawing little hearts around one of the main themes of the story. how do you truly know a person and how do you learn to love them right?

julie thinks she knows richie because she knows so much about him from mikey's stories, but in chapter three she's surprised to find out that richie deals cocaine. of course mikey wouldn't have told her that, since it was mikey's idea for richie to do that, and in the end this is all because the beef was failing financially. that wasn't something mikey was proud of, so he didn't tell her about it. (shame & its sources & how to deal with it is another huge theme in the fic!) so in that moment julie has a rare moment of clarity and tries to look at richie physically to really fix him in her mind, to observe him for herself. to be in that moment with him. which is a lesson that she...could perhaps have learned more quickly & thoroughly lmao. but isn't that life? it's rare that people learn important lessons once and follow them perfectly ever after.

ANYWAYS. in this passage, julie's just preoccupied with being as emotionally opaque as possible and getting the hell out of there, so she's focused on herself, not at all on richie.

richie, in the meantime, is picking up on her weird vibes & doesn't know what caused this. he knows that she let him drive her before and that was fine—delightful, even—so something has to have changed. he chalks it up to the sleepover + condoms jokes, the fact that he's brought up, even jokingly, the mere idea of them having sex. and he also wants to take care of her, he does actually want to drive her home, so her rejecting that doesn't feel great! just feels like her being stubborn (which she is). so that's why he's like, it’s christmas eve, are you really gonna punish me for a fucking joke? like, we had such an amazing night together, we're closer tonight than we've ever been before, i cooked for you, you came willingly to my apartment, we talked about our families, and now you're going to reject my care and leave in a weird tension filled way that i'm like 80% sure is happening just cause i made some off color jokes???

also, as one might expect from a guy whose father was never around, whose best friend committed suicide, and whose wife left him...richie's kind of sensitive about being left. see: season 2, when he explicitly says he fears that carmy & co are gonna "drop this ass" & leave him in the dust. so! yeah!

what i do love, though, is that they've learned from last time, in a way. in chapter 3, when there was that disconnect between them and he senses it and is offended by it, she responds angrily and defensively, says something hurtful, and basically the only reason they don't get into a much bigger fight is because he showed a bit of mercy (probably spurred by the fact that she didn't show up the night before and he was truly concerned about her absence).

THIS time, even though there's a disconnect between them, when he bursts out in frustration, she understands what's going on and de-escalates the situation, reassures him, tries to be gentle. and even though he's not completely satisfied with her walking home in the dark, he lets it go, recognizing that she has her own reasons but she's not angry with him and she doesn't mean it as a rejection of him.

they're learning!!! i love it when they learn! it took us 34,000+ words, but they're figuring it out!

hi so I wanna say I love Andrews portrayal of spiderman and Peter parker were both great charming and endearing to me but ot doesn't take away the fact for me that the movies were almost starlight up terrible especially the second one we had glimpses of what the movie could be in some scenes that were so great but other than the wonderful performances bu stone garfield and sally and the actor who played uncle Ben and a few scenes here and there the movies were bad really bad I loved that andrew and his Pete got a redemption arc for nwh I love that it's what sold the movie for me he's a great actor who was robbed of a decent script and too much studio interferences really mangled the end product

But i do feel like people are unnecessarily harsh on the mcu version of spiderman while it makes me now uncomfortable thinking About Tony stark is musk's wet dream but the movies were really great for the audiences they are marketed towards young kids the class struggles are very much present just in a more subtle way and nwh has fixed most of the "problems" that mcu spiderman had they are also in general the best spider man movies out there if you remove the rami trilogy this is just my take but Maybe it's just the fact that I'm much younger and enjoy these movies more idk

Ignore the major plot holes and shit script and just enjoy the ride of watching a 2012 superhero movie.

Personally, I like to pick out the parts that I loved about it and focus on those rather than the poorly done bits. They literally have some of my favorite Spidey scenes in them. The part when all the construction workers move their cranes together because they see Spider-Man struggling after being shot and he saved Ponyboy's son earlier in the movie and now Ponyboy gets a chance to repay him back so he gets all his buddies together to help and Peter swings from crane to crane to get to where he needs to...a literal perfect Spider-Man moment! It's up there with the scene in Toby's when all the people in the subway lift an unconscious Peter up and carry him back inside, maskless, and tell him that his secret identity is safe with them and then hand him back his mask. It's the scenes when NYC backs Spider-Man as their hero that always get to me. I don't remember if Tom's Peter has anything like that because I've only seen his movies once (and one was on a plane lol) and my memory is poop so I can't speak on that. But I like whenever they add in NYC backing up Peter in his films. It was very Spider-Man esque. He's a man of the people, esp the working class, and the people usually like to repay him for that whenever he can help. Andrew's version did a good job of representing that.

Gwen's death was also good. Andrew acted the hell out of it. I mean...

Besides being visually dark as hell, his perfect hugging of her dead body cradled in his arms! They don't shy away from it and they linger on the quietness and raw emotions of that scene for a minute. It was emotional and powerful and done well.

Then the humor in the movies was wonderful! Andrew nailed the one liners and body movement. To me, he was such a cheeky Spider-Man especially going from Toby who didn't quite have that cocky Spidey charm like Andrew did. If you don't look at the movies as a groundbreaking work of art, I don't think they're as bad as people claim them to be haha. They're not great but they're also not the worst movies I've ever seen. It keeps you entertained and excited and can pack a punch when it wants to.

I do think you nailed it though when you said that it depends on your age. I was in the perfect age group when The Amazing Spider-Man came out. I had grown up watching Toby's movies but I was too young to really see them as anything more in depth than just Spider-Man swinging around. TASM released when I was 19. It was the most perfect age to see it in theaters and fall head over heals in love with Mr. Garfield as he blushes and hides his face in flowers after showing up at Gwen's bedroom window. Or when he shows up in middle of the night covered in blood and gets half naked while she tends to his wounds. CHOCOLATE HOUSE. The raw, horny, sexiness of their chemistry together!! He is by and far the horniest of all the Spidey babies. All of their kissing scenes!! How could I not fall in love that man?? He was on the big screen and I was horny for a boyfriend and he gave me everything I needed for my teenage fantasies. And then you add on the chokehold that Andrew and Emma had over the young world when they dated. 2012 was a crazy time. People genuinely thought the world was ending and Peter Parker was back on the big screen hahaha. What more could ya ask for? ;)

It was like it was made for my generation of nerdy ladies to thirst over. By the time Tom's movies came out, I was already way to old to be invested in a high school kid. I thought he was a good actor and has great chemistry with MJ and Ned but I just don't have that same pure, all in love that I did with Andrew.

I honestly don't even remember Tom's other Spidey movies, I remember a couple of scenes here and there, but NWH was perfect. I don't think I've ever been so equally breathless and excited while watching a movie in my life.

It just reminds me of B, and my dad, and most of the other men in my life who are such good and lovely pure lads that have suffered so much and don't know how to talk about it. I live in a city with some of the UKs highest suicide rates and I worry about the men i love so much and whenever i hear that wee "canny chanter but he looks sad" it just speaks to me idk.

Bramace/ Bram Stoker x Ace: What?? 💀 I can’t with these random af pairings. Its a crackship, and I react to all crackships the same: Haha funny you said something ridiculous by pairing two random characters together. Okay, why are we talking about it more than once, what is this, 2012 where we still do “random XD” humor? 0/10

Bramushi/ Bram Stoker x Oguri Mushitarou: Same as above. 0/10

Chuuaku/ Chuuya Nakahara x Ryuunosuke Akutagawa: I know a lot of its shippers (at least in the past) hate Dazai and therefore the ship skk. And for the skk hate I say props to them 👏🏽 I don’t know if this is a ship created out of spite though. I don’t like those types of ships and so I will withdraw my support if that’s the case. Recently I’ve seen there’s a good amount of multi-shippers. Anyways, I don’t really care for the ship in and of itself. I don’t think either of them are attracted to guys so I don’t think it would work. And if they were, I’d just say “where’s the flavor?” Idk. If they were both girls, then I could see where the flavor is. But I still wouldn’t ship it. If Akutagawa was a girl but not Chuuya, I wouldn’t ship it. I would also not ship it if Chuuya was the girl and Akutagawa was the same. It’s just not appealing to me. 1.5/10

Do you think they even talk about anything other than work/the weather? I know everyone always freaks out because somewhere (idk what official thing) Chuuya referred to Aku as “my boy” so I think Chuuya would try to talk with him some and Akutagawa would stand there like🧍🏻‍♂️because that’s his superior and he’s not going to be casual with him.

Chuuango/ Chuuya Nakahara x Ango Sakaguchi: This ship feels like the Kunikida x Chuuya ship (forgot the name) but for people who ship kndz and don’t want to ship a threesome so they had to find someone who was kinda similar & who interacted. I know that’s probably not the case bc the shippers of it are fr about it, I’ve seen posts going around in the fandom and people are tagging the ship on them, but that’s how it feels. Idk I think it’s a weird ship. I’d say the same if they were both women and one or the other was a woman. (But I could kinda see the appeal if Chuuya was a woman) 0.5/10

Would this count as an enemies to lovers ship?

Chuuatsu/ Chuuya Nakahara x Atsushi Nakajima: This ship is kinda funny. Taking the two members of skk and sskk— the fandom’s biggest ships— who have never met (not counting wan) and shipping them together. It wouldn’t work. I’d say the same whether Atsushi or Chuuya was a girl. If they were both girls, that would make their relationship a little more interesting. And by relationship that would also mean a platonic relationship, which they don’t even have canonically. But I would see the appeal. I say 1/10 except if they’re both girls then 2.5/10

Chuumori/ Chuuya Nakahara x Ougai Mori: Man, what do you even want me to say about this? Obviously my answer is “no!” And unlike Morizai I haven’t actually seen anyone ship this. My answer would be the same for all iterations of this ship. 0/10

Chuuran/ Chuuya Nakahara x Ranpo Edogawa: Although I would be interested in more interactions between the two (or even just seeing when they were stuck in that mystery book together) I don’t ship it. I think the ship would be interesting if Ranpo was a girl, but my opinion would be the same if Chuuya was a girl. If they were both girls I would also want to see more interactions but it wouldn’t affect my opinion on the ship romantically that much. M/M & MRanpo/FChuuya 2/10 F/F 2.5/10 FRanpo/MChuuya 3/10

Dazaku/ Osamu Dazai x Ryuunosuke Akutagawa: No. No (Spanish). Non. Nein. Nee. 아니요. いいえ. Não. нет. όχι. hayır. नहीं. Không. Tidak. -3.5/10

Dazatsu/ Osamu Dazai x Atsushi Nakajima: This is actually an interesting ship and Y’ALL KNOW IT. And I know y’all know it because of all the unnecessary and frankly hypocritical and contradictory reasons for why y’all hate it. Out of all the combinations of ships between the characters in skk & sskk, this combination is the best possible/healthiest one. If Dazai was a woman I’d ship this— but I would not want them to end up together. Ultimately it would be a great “they almost were” ship. As it is in canon, I don’t ship it, I just recognize potential. And if they were both girls… well it’s hard to imagine a world where BOTH the MC and the character everyone mistakes as the MC in a seinen are both women 😭 And if Atsushi was a girl I wouldn’t ship it.
