The waves crashed harshly into the hull of the ship as it swayed side to side atop the ocean, in an attempt to stay afloat. Yunho slipped around the wooden deck, the only thing holding him down being his tight, white-knuckled grip on the helm, enduring the challenge of steering as water sprayed his face and body. His soaked hair hung in front of his eyes, water droplets falling from the ends and gliding down his face.

This storm was the worst he had ever encountered whilst sailing, never experiencing more than a few harsh waves and small drums of thunder. Mingi ran his hand through his dampened hair before gripping tight and hopelessly tugging at the sails, the other crewmates deeming it useless once one of them ripped right through and got pulled off by the fierce winds.

Yunho looked across the ocean, through the fogs and lightning strikes, searching for any sign of saviour only to have a large tsunami-like wave bellowing towards them. Mingi followed his line of sight to see the same swell barging forward at an increasing rate. Bolting along the slippery deck, he lunged up the stairs to the hull as the waves pummeled and capsized the ship in one quick motion. Mingi threw himself over Yunho, using his body as a shield, before they brutally crashed into the ocean with such force to knock them unconscious.

With every crushing wave, the ship shattered into a million pieces, wooden planks, barrels and fabric sales now littering the ocean along with bodies of crewmates. The storm had left as quickly as it came, a new orange gleam cascading over the water, the sun shining quietly in the background. Yunho lay lifeless on a small raft with slashes in his clothes and cuts on his skin, the soft rise and fall of his chest barely visible.

Suddenly, Yunho swung himself up, clutching at his chest whilst his breathing was ragged and heavy, oxygen desperately filling his lungs with every breath. The unexpected air that entered his lungs caused nausea to grow within his stomach, quick to lean over the small raft and empty it into the ocean — mostly just water he had swallowed with the impact of the crash. Wiping the drool away from his mouth, he glanced around at the wreck, eyes watery at the sight of dead bodies: his crewmates.

Grabbing a broken log, he paddled the raft around the wreck and thoroughly examined each body, his heart sinking more and more as the face he looked for the most desperately kept disappearing.

Pushing through the mess, he got to the last body. A tall man with dark brunette hair lay face first into the water, unmoving. His mind began to race and thoughts began to process that this could be his best friend who lay dead in front of him. But thankfully, when he flipped the man over to view his face, there was no mole on his cheek, his hair now obviously a lot shorter than-

“Mingi!” Yunho screamed, his voice rough and scratchy but still remaining at a loud enough volume. His voice echoed across the sea, bouncing off the far cliffs that surrounded their landing. “Mingi! Are you out there?”

No answer.

He knew he wasn’t one of the floating lifeless bodies, which meant he had to have gotten out somehow. But with the extent of his own injuries, he believed Mingi’s would’ve been much worse considering he sacrificed his body to shield Yunho from the danger.

Through the soft fog, Yunho saw a shimmering light in the distance. It sat upon a small cliff on the shoreline of an island. The light gleamed as the sun hit it, similar to how Yunho’s bracelet did, almost as if it were its twin.

A smile claimed his face as he realised that it, in fact, was the silver chain's twin, which sat on the arm of his other half. He waved his arm desperately in the air to gain attention, making sure the sun hit his bracelet the same way as it hit the other. He watched as the further star grew brighter, an indication of life. Using all the strength he could muster up from his worn out body, he paddled harder and faster than he could in order to get there. He ignored the way that his clothes hung off his body, how the salt water of the sea splashed into his open wounds and caused him to wince in pain each time. He ignored it all, to get to Mingi.

The sky grew a darker orange as the sun began to set behind him, his determination never faltering even though his body grew weary. Muscles were tensing with every small movement, the cool evening breeze sending chills through his weak body. The blood from his cuts had dried on his skin causing it to tightened slightly. He looked at the shining light, still prominent enough for him to locate it as he moved closer at a steady pace.

Yunho’s eyes grew heavy as his arm flailed around with the make-shift paddle, his body on the brink of collapsing from exhaustion. No matter how hard he tried to fight it, the battle was lost as his body grew limp on the raft, arms dipped in the water and face lay on the splintered wood adding some new scratches on his delicate features. His breathing was slow and frail, the dehydration in his throat causing it to sound raspy through his parted lips.

By the time his eyes flickered open, he had ended up on the shoreline of the island he was chasing, the tide bringing him in with swift motions. Laying there with no movement in his cold body, he stretched an arm out and reached for the sand, grasping it and watching as the grains cascaded through his fingers. Blinking largely to wake himself, he sat up slowly and stared at the sharp, rocky cliffs that surrounded him. Coming to his senses, he realised he was finally where Mingi was, frantically looking at the cliff’s edge for that silver shimmer once more.

There it was!

It was quick but visible enough for him to know.

Following the rocky path up the cliffs, he tripped over his feet more times than he could count, still ailing throughout his entire body. But Mingi was right there! He had no time to worry about himself. All he could think about was his heroic best friend who surrendered his own body to protect Yunho’s.

The rocks crackled underneath each footstep, all feeling loose enough to crumble with any wrong move. His pace picked up as the glimmer of jewellery faded in his peripheral vision.

Hiking his way up the final cliff, his body slow motioned but bleeding with resilience, a smile pulling at his lips as he finally made it to his destination. Climbing up the last few steps, he came to a sudden halt, the smile that appeared a second ago disappeared even quicker.

A limp body rested at the top of the cliff, deep gashes carved into it as blood bleached the torn clothes, one wrist sporting a silver chain bracelet identical to Yunho’s.

“N-no…” Yunho whimpered, hurriedly leaning down at the body. His hand grazed the facial features of the man, tracing his jawline and circling around the small mole on his cheek.

Arms wrapping around the man’s lifeless corpse, pulling him up and closer to his own. Although Yunho’s drenched clothes held his body cold, the figure in his arm’s had an icy chill to it, no blood had flowed through it for at least a few hours.

“Come on, Mingi… please…” Yunho cried into the man’s neck, deliriously praying for a miracle to occur and he wake up from this deep slumber. “P-please don’t leave me, you’re all I have left.”

Yunho pulled away from him, his eyes searching for Mingi’s. His heart shattered into a million pieces as his gaze was answered with a lifeless stare. Tears streamed down his face like a current, burning into his puffy cheeks and falling onto Mingi’s face. His head lay on Mingi’s chest, silence begs and muffled cries spilled through his lips as he still tried to listen for his heartbeat. One hand moved to his wrist — the wrists that both shared their matching jewels — squeezing it tightly as the chains intertwined together.

It was no use, and Yunho knew it but didn’t have the guts to want to admit it.

Mingi’s soul had left this earth and now lays the shell of his body — in the arms of his best friend, his brother, his soulmate.

All Yunho could do was stay there with him. His mind and body were numb with grief, as well as the exhaustion of his own ignored injuries. Head nestled against Mingi’s glacial chest, body succumbing to the enervation.

Yunho wasn’t leaving Mingi’s side until morning, until help came.

“Just a little longer, we’re almost at the top!” Wooyoung heaved, breath heavy from the immense amount of climbing they had done today. San was quick behind him, following each vigilant step as to not cause the rocky cliffs to crumble.

Finally making it to the top, San bumped into a paused Wooyoung, an unseen expression lacing his face. He followed his friend's gaze as it landed on two unusual shapes. Cautiously moving towards the figures, they noticed it was two people huddled together. One lay flat across the other’s lap, head dipped into the chest.

“How long do you think they’ve been here?” San whispered, the winds almost covering it. He lightly tugged at the torn clothing that sheltered the skeleton bones, almost withering away between his fingers.

“Not sure,” Wooyoung replied, circling the tangled pile of bones. He noticed the intertwined bracelets that enveloped the bones, now coloured a dirty silver. “But by the looks of it, they cared for each other deeply.”

Idk if you're still doing requests but could you do one of Adam laughing his ass off when Micheal gives him a rooster toy but it's like one of those ugly loud long yellow rubber chickens but Adam thinks is cute and hilarious. Micheal, maybe, is just glad Adam likes it.

I have so many headcanons on WHY Michael loves roosters qusgwishsis but one of them is it being God assigning all the archangels an animal to represent them as, like Lucifer is a duck (cute and goofy) while Michael is a rooster (the one that fights to protect it's flock) ahsishsowjs anyways the second hc I have about it is that (it could be either seen as platonic or romantic) but Adam was the first person ever that Michael had to create SOMETHING after Lucifer was banished to wonder earth with Lilith; he was left with the responsibility of creating new creatures for Adam (and he wasn't like Lucifer in that category of creativity, so it meant a lot for him when Adam would praise him for his work). The rooster was literally the most convenient (he did it to help Adam wake up in time to do his chores bc the first human would complain about oversleeping and not being able to finish all of his duties in time before nighttime) and beautiful thing he's made not only for Adam but himself too.

Third hc is because of Lucifer. I love them being caring over the other but I like to see Lucifer admire and feel inspire by Michael's hidden creativity that isn't allowed to share bc he's meant to fight not dream. So Lucifer just loves whenever he sees Michael 'slip' up and do something like an object or creature. I have this whole idea about more than anything but it's Michael singing to a young dreamer lucifer 😭💕 ahdkwjsossjsow

I dunno it just makes things more tragic after Lucifer's fall.

I also hc Michael having his wings down when being only around Lucifer as he felt relax an at ease while being around him, the brothers all knew that Michael wings were always tensed, up (to look bigger), and alert or tucked away as he had issues on trusting someone/something won't happen if he let his guard down, and without Lucifer (fallen) it was unlikely to ever see his wings down but somehow after Adam entered heaven they started noticing Michael's wings flapped excitedly and flopped downwards while speaking or being around Adam.

Last hc I promise ahsuwwjiw but I also like hc Michael having a prosthetic wing after Lucifer's fall from trying last minute to protect Lucifer but having to be put down by one of the seraphim ripped his wing off as a warning (it was both traumatic for Lucifer and Michael that Lucifer just accepted his fate and shielded Lilith from most of the pain of the fall).

I don't remember where I read this but I remember reading somewhere that Slender doesn't actually kill kids. (Everyone in my family who knows I had a Creepypasta phase is convinced he is??).

And that just fits him in my opinion.

He does kill the parents in certain situations though. (ex: they're abusive or just generally bad people)

He's generally pretty quiet... Very quiet actually-

He can talk but he just doesn't? Not unless he actually has to or wants to.

My version of Slender is also about 12 feet tall so this man is towering over everyone. (that was expected but I remembered how tall that actually is and I'm screaming)

That back of his suit has a lot of rips from.. well... Tentacles.

He sometimes gets fed up with the rips and just sews it up himself. (Can't decide if he figured it out himself or if Trender showed him how... Idk, tell me in the comments)

OH MY GOD I JUST REALIZED ITS BEEN A FEW WEEKS AND I STILL HAVEN'T ANSWERED THIS. I AM SO SORRY I LIVE IN SHAME EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Anyway, Teth! Our deeply beloved forest cryptid. I have to be honest, I don't have as many headcanons about her as I do about some of my other fave elders, which is a thing I should work to change because Teth is awesome. But here are some I do have for now:

CAAAAT I think my good buddy @krillking has already spoken about Teth having cat traits in his animal elder post, but yeah. While in my headcanons, the animal traits are less defined, Teth still very much has cat behavior, like her irises widening or narrowing like a cat's, and she likes to sleep in the sun (which is trouble because. Forest is 90 percent clouds and rain. Thankfully she has the yard behind her temple and the sunny forest segment, though due to the whole thing happening in the kingdom, she could visit those comfort places less and less :<) and most importantly - purring. Which she is a bit shy about, so she rarely does it. If you get to catch her purr, it means that she trusts you enough to do it next to you, though she will still be embarrassed if you mention it out loud. (Also do not leave her anywhere near fancy furniture she will try to rip it with her claws. Yes, lamed learned it the hard way.)

TRANSGENDAAAAAAAAA Idk how to explain it but Teth is just so transfem coded. Goes by both she\her and they\them. It just makes so much sense that I don't even need any proof to know that, she has told me this herself. Gotta give @dogedepan for this one though since I stole this idea from her (like many others. Can't help it Chi your headcanons are awesome)

BEEFCAKE Let's be real, TGC is a bunch of cowards for making her slim. How can you look at this woman, who is a blacksmith, and can catch a giant flying hammer with one arm like it's no big deal, and not think that they have some impressive muscle? If you draw Teth buff I am forever in your debt. PLEASE I WANT TO SEE MORE BUFF TETH ART PLEA-

BESTIE Teth and Ayin are literally fated besties, be they platonic or romantic. Even in early concept art, Ayin was described as "Teth's friend" and held the key to her realm, just showing the level of trust between them. Their realms also work with each other really well, with Ayin being the main supply for Teth's factories which is what allowed her realm to grow. I like to think of them being childhood best friends, and that they have been by each other's side through the good and the bad. Remember that headcanon about Teth enjoying sleeping in sunny places? Prairie is perfect for that, and if she decides to take a nap while visiting it is no rarity for her to choose Ayin as a bed for that (soft). I don't really see em as romantic because I already ship Teth with someone else, but as an aromantic person, it's important for me to show intimacy like that even between friendships. Ayin is always there to lend an ear to Teth, being there for her through her worst, and Teth is Ayin's "EXCUSE ME THEY ASKED FOR NO PICKLES". Although, if we go to the sadder territory, their friendship did suffer a falling out during the turbulent era of the kingdom, with Teth closing off from everyone, including Ayin, too caught in her work and darkstone production to meet the ever-growing demands, and that led to Ayin also drowning in work to keep up the light supply. That is not to mention the different world views about light creatures and how worthy they are of preservation.

CRYBABY I just like to think that despite appearing cold and serious, Teth is a very gentle soul underneath the hard facade she forced herself to create due to her position. But if you get to know her you will find a very soft, shy, and caring heart that makes it easy for her eyes to water, be it a happy or sad occasion, even if she is trying to hide it. She is also a pretty big introvert and starts getting nervous during events with big crowds, esp if they have to do a speech as an elder or something. This gentleness and softness hidden behind a cold surface is one of the things that attracted Priestess to her, which leads me to the next point:

LESBIANNNNNN You may know this already but I'm a big PriesTeth truther, which is the ship between Priestess (the original elder of the Valley from concept art, never made it to the final game but there is a pretty popular fanon that she is the mother of the twins) and Teth. Again, I was enlightened about this ship thanks to @dogedepan she is literally the CEO of this ship god bless. I know it's a bit silly to ship her with an elder who never even made it to canon, but I fell in love with the dynamic of the "serious and cold at first glance but soft and gentle on the inside x extroverted, energetic and mischievous but deeply caring and kind" that exists between them. Priestess was Teth's firework, the bright and colorful in the grey and cold of her life. Never had the elder of the Forest loved someone like she did this bright, giggly, and open girl who managed to always make Teth smile. And it hurt all the more when Priestess was lost. After the death of her partner, Teth closed off completely, lost in her work, just to not feel the pain because the grief was overwhelming. Milf As I ship priesteth, I also headcanon that Teth is the other parent of Sah and Mekh. Unfortunately, their relationship is very rocky. Priestess died when the two were very young, and due to Teth being too lost in her grief, she simply couldn't care for them, causing the two to be raised by other elders (mainly Tsadi, who is their uncle) and kicked around from temple to temple until they were old enough to live on their own. This caused feelings of betrayal and neglect in the two, and it came to the point that they rarely acknowledged Teth as their other parent anymore. And she feels too guilty before them to try and get them back because she believes she deserves this for her mistakes. But perhaps not everything is lost, and some of this relationship can be salvaged if she finally gets brave enough to reach out.

WORSTIE She and Tsadi have a beef. That's it that's the headcanon. It's not anything serious, it's literally a "cat and dog" type of beef, the two can't even tell when it started, it's just that both will use any opportunity to roast each other. Why do I have this headcanon? Because it's funny.

INSANE SITUATIONSHIP Let's just say that the situationship between Teth and Nesting guide still left the latter one staring at her pictures every day for hours.

Hobbies Other than being a blacksmith, Teth enjoys all types of crafts, like sculpting from clay or woodworking. Girlie doesn't need any IKEA, she can make all the furniture herself (I mean, the Nesting guide had to learn this from someone)

the same pen every year but, its not just him stealing it from mc's room to rewarp it he has a box full of the exact same pens if one of them has a slight defect he will write a letter to the company that made the pens and send the damaged pen with it (mc shouldn't mention the fact that they've gotten the exact same pen from him four years in a row his pride will be hurt and he will just start engraving their name into the pens never know he may eventually switch it up and put a cute little nickname or something on the pen instead of just 'mc'), either that or he listens very closely and pays attention to what mc might need throught the year need a new desk at some point cause satan broke theirs placing a book down consider it bought mc dropped their bag in a puddle and need a new laptop it's theirs. sadly though he will only get them things that are practical hat they say they need so no jewlery or devices you already have that work fine unless mc can come up with a good excuse as to why the latest tech is needed for studying, there is the odd chance he may get them a bottle of demonus thinking 'they seem to like the taste of it even if it doesn't affect them' (doesn't matter what he gets mc the pens will always be given to them as a fun little bonus prize)

Mammon

anything and everything mc has even looked at for more than half a second is now in their room they mentioned a certain idk (whats something a half sane sheep that has to babysit like 9 demons 2 angels and a sorcerer on daily basis look at in a store oh well) mc mentions something they saw the other day that caught their eye his broke ass is looking for the cheapest deal he can find (or most expensive depends on if he has goldie or not) and buying it

Satan

like lucifer mans will think practical things and like himself he thinks books are the most practical things of all of course cats are fairly high on his list of practical things (they are a must have unless you're allergic to them if you're allergic to them im sorry cats cause you pain, then again they cause most people pain tiny little fluffy a holes that i love continuing) he will be bothering mc about their choice in books asking alot of questions along the lines of 'what genre are you most into' 'mc whos your favourite author' 'fiction or non-fiction' all in attempt to figure out what mc likes if mc isn't really into books and is into idk sports or gardening something like that he will search endlessly to find an interesting book to give mc on one of their hobbies and if they don't like the book he can always "borrow" them to learn more about mc's likes and hobbies

Asmodeus

feel like this is a no brainer but some kind of spa day or outfit (wait new headcannon alert what if he knows how to sew and occasionally makes clothes for himself for y'know when theres nothing new in fashion or theres an important event he cant find anything fabulous to wear but occasionally being the keyword he probably uses most of his talent fixing rips in satan shirts from satans outbursts) anyways... he will spend an entire day fawning over mc he will make sure they dont lift a finger god forbid they get a papercut from wrapping paper or worry lines from stressing about how tf they're supposed to sleep when mammons filled their room with gifts

Feel like because of this i should do how they wrap the gifts so this goes for Christmas / any other holidays too so bonusss (this is also who would remember to include a card)

lucifer

plain colour probably in mcs favourite colour no ribbon or anything fancy just plain [insert favourite colour] wrapping paper, he takes pride in wrapping his gifts neatly (he's wrapped the same pen for several years straight he has had practice) he gets a card for mc like the presents wrapping the outside is a plain colour with words relating to whatever celebration it is with either the dryest shit ever written on the inside or the most sappy shit depends on his relationship with mc if its the latter option though we will only give mc the card in private knowing exactly how his brothers would react

mammon

he uses the christmas wrapping paper from two years ago that everyone forgot they had until he called out 'anyone gonna use this wrapping paper i found in the closet' to satan replying 'you know thats christmas wrapping paper right' and mammon taking satan answer as a go ahead to use it, he'd do his best to wrap any gifts he got mc he looks up a tutorial and everything and 100% is proud of his work not matter how messy it looks, if anyone chooses to mention how messily it's wrapped he will say its part of the suspense he will use ribbons and bows to add extra effect

he forgets about aa card entirely

leviathan

ruri-chan wrapping paper wrapped as neatly as possible so the little images line up on every side as perfectly as possible he will spend hours trying to get the folds just right so the images line up nothing fancy like ribbons or bows he'd feel bad if he covered one of the characters so he doesn't bother with it

he panicked about what to write in the card so he gave up deciding that having a marathon with mc was way more important than writing his feelings onto a card

satan

cat wrapping paper or wrapping paper that looks like pages from books he makes any gifts he's wrapped look pretty (just like the pretty boy he is whosaidthat/j) he wraps the gift neatly and puts a little bow on it before writing a heartfelt card and using a little bit of tape to attach it to the wrapped box

asmodeus

picks out the prettiest wrapping paper he can find even if he's just wrapping a card that says "Spa Day!" he is wrapping it neatly with utmost care

he chooses a card based on mc's likes and hobbies of course making sure it's bedazzled and as pretty as possible

beelzebub

two layers of wrapping paper he found one that had images of food on it but halfway through wrapping mc's gift with it he took a bite out of the wrapping paper so he changed wrapping paper to a plain one so he would be somewhat less tempted to eat it

he gets mc a card and starts to write something in it before the writing stops mid word and theres a bunch of crumbs from him eating something forgetting to finish the card and giving it to mc anyways

belphegor

clouds it's very nicely wrapped because he probably went to one of those 'we wrap the presents for you' places and paid them the only part he did himself was the card and he put a tiny bit of effort into it until the writing gets smudged and messy and is that a bit of drool he fell asleep midway through writing oh well guess he better nap with mc to make up for falling asleep

tea party, tea party, tea party (i like tea) he will invite mc to the castle not only does this mean he gets to celebrate diavolo also gets to celebrate mc's birthday (like diavolo wasn't the one to suggest it, barbatos just anticipated dia asking to invite them over) barbatos will cook mc food from the human realm majority of it being things he heard them say they liked or missed from the human realm occasionally he might throw in a devidom ingredient or two to enhance somethings flavour or to add a fun little surprise (maybe he throws in something to change the colour of their fur for a few minutes who knows) as for the acctual gift part he probably gets mc something small to remind them of him or something practical he's not lucifer when it comes to gifts and may look into the future to see if theres anything mc will need in the near future like maybe their bag is gonna break in the next two weeks and they'll need a new one just so happen barbs gave them a new bag for their birhday the week before perfect

he wraps gifts by himself with a plain wrapping paper of mcs favourite colour and by far out of everyone wraps them the nicest he's lived for a millennia he's had practice wrapping gifts when it comes to writing a card for them he does his best to make it heartfelt and meaningful

soooooo tadaaa i've finished unless people want the others (by people i mean if i were in theory to gain motivation to write for the rest of the characters)
