Like it was so cute that the women had a sleep over and party for her first night!  Then the fact he called her 221C and was so grumpy about it😂 That made me laugh!! And Ebola was just precious in every way possible!!!! I think you wrote her character perfectly!! I love how all the Shelby women just took her right in too! ❤️❤️ I'm sure Ada and Esme would be sure to grill Tewksbury hard when they meet him!!😂😂 Also I just realized that Mycroft and Oswald Mosley are both played by the same actor and imagines the chaos of the Shelby's meeting him when you mentioned him being a twat😂😂 But I just love over all how you built up her relationship with Enola! 

And then Sherlock 🥰🥰🥰🥰 abhhh my beautiful brilliant man😂😂I'm not sure if I'm right, but the way I read it he seems to have broken in to her apartment (technically) when he came in the morning to get Enola and that cracked me up! I loved how she threw the book at home too then! Serves him right😂 but their "second" meeting was also so cute and I loved how she was like "don't hurt my enola" and he was like "your brother annoys mine and that makes me happy"😂😂 

And then oohhh the drama!!!!! Like I feel bad she was hurt (even though I knew it would happen🤭) but then like AHHHHHH Sherlock saving her was just!!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I also love how soft he was with helping her and the fact she was able to relax when she knew it was him!!!!🥰🥰 and ohhhh! She kissed him!! Also how he was like "you're in shock" and didn't let it go much farther ! Idk why but like I really liked that part. Conscious consent is attractive. 🥰🤣🤣🥰 AND THEN HE READ TO HER!!!! 😍😍😍 also I can absolutely see him arguing with. A fictional characters motives😂😂😂 he'd probably make a whole case file for why a fictional plan failed or guess what the ending was before the plot twist😂😂 

And then the whole rest of the ending made me laugh so much!!😂😂 I love the idea of a furious Enola trying to tell off Tommy and his brothers thinking they'd hurt basically her sister. And then Tommy just staring because is anyone else yelled at him like that (and of that) they would have been ☠️ but he can't to that to this small girl he doesn't know it but could probably take him in a fight decently well😂 And then awe!! I love how her family was relieve she was ok, but the men immediately went into like 🧍🏻‍♂️🧍🏻‍♂️🧍🏻‍♂️🧍🏻‍♂️ kinda stand off mode over protecting her both generally and brother wise😂 Also I like how Tommy took some of the blame for it too!! That part made me smile thinking like he did it because it was true but also because let's be honestly Tommy seems to have a soft spot for like the young and innocent in that even if he doesn't know them well he'll try to help them. Like the big brother in him saw Enola's feelings her hurt and was like "yeah we're gonna fix that's a bit" And I think Ada and Enola make the best tag team wing women ever😂😂 They were like "oh this is happening, this is very much happening." I love how they even brought Alfie into it😂 also YEAH WE'RE ALFIE's FAVORITE !!😂😂😂  also brief thought, Alfie and Enola😂😂 oh the chaos that would bring😂

And then the ends scene 🥰🥰🥰🥰 like all the scenes were 🥰🥰🥰 but I really like the end he was like the safest you'll be is by me so let's cuddle😂😂🥰🥰 and yeah! I loved this entire thing so much!! okay let me back my opinions (and this movie) a bit more. (spoilers, obviously, if u care...)

In my tags I said I was happy this movie was short. And I *don't* have anything against long movies, I love long movies, but I really do think if this movie was any longer it would have ruined it.

I went into this without trailers. I just knew 'catholic horror' and that pregnancy played a part. and like, yeah it is that. It's a simple concept like "what if the church tried to recreate the virgin mary" (but also I couldn't help but think another idea is "what if the original virgin mary didn't want any of this." I don't think that's what the movie was going for, but I couldn't help but think that)

I also saw that a lot of the advertising had to do with "ohhhh this is gonna piss off the conservatives" or "the catholics hate this !!" but I guess I didn't really get why until I watched it. because I was still convinced this was a demonic possession movie. Which, in case you didn't know, a lot of christians actually really like demonic possession movies ?

I'm not basing this on actual evidence, but my own opinion, but following my last point, christians seem to like demonic possession movies because they're all fear mongering. "Look how evil this person is acting !! Aren't you glad there's an exorcist to save the day ??" (my only "evidence" is that these movies make box office bank in a country where christianity is popular)

Idk I wasn't raised catholic, but I was raised christian, so some of the ideologies are familiar to me and I guess I liked that this movie rejected those rather than take comfort in them.

And I *guess* some christians can view this as "this congregation was evil for trying to 'play' god" but idk. I'd rather look at it from the movie's tagline, "not every intervention is divine" lmao.

I think it's fine they didn't get that gruesome or scary. I think people are right in being disappointed in the lack of scares, but personally I guess it feels like the horror came from the concept and they just stuck with that.

Anyway I think I'm done I'm not even arguing why this is an amazing movie or whatever I just wanted to back my opinions this time and i guess I was happy this movie was not what I thought it was going to be. Like, they let her kill the b-

“Freddy,” George called, he slowed once he caught up with him. “Who was that you were just talking to?”

“Who? When?” Fred asked, puzzled by his brother’s question.

“Girl about yay high, wearing a hufflepuff uniform, (h/c) hair.” George explained.

“Ohhhh… Y/n. Yeah I have transfiguration with her and she’s my partner. What about her?” Fred responded.

“Oh um nothing. I was just wondering.” George rubbed the back of his neck.

George knew exactly who you were. He noticed you in 3rd year originally. He thought you were the sweetest, most awkward Hufflepuff in their year and was completely endeared by you. Now that you were all older, you matured into a beautiful young woman who was kind. You still had a touch of awkwardness but it wasn’t 15 year old awkwardness anymore.

He has been trying to muster up the nerve to talk to you for almost 3 years now and when he saw you talking to Fred, he was a little crushed. Fred was extremely flirty with any girl he deemed worthy that day, not that it was a necessarily bad thing, he just didn’t want you, the precious angel, to be hurt by his non stop flirting.

He wasn’t like his brother, he couldn’t get a date at the drop of a hat. He stuttered when he liked a girl. He hadn’t gone on several dates with several girls in one weekend. He’s had 2 past girlfriends and they both broke up with him because he ‘just wasn’t how they expected him to be’.

He couldn’t think of a way to approach her and now that she knew Fred, how was ever supposed to impress her by being himself. Fred noticed the cogs turning in George’s head and figured it had to do with his Hufflepuff partner.

“Wait, do you like Y/n?” Fred asked George as they walked into the Great Hall to each dinner. George’s cheeks went rosy.

“What?? No… that’s.. no!” George stuttered out, shocked.

Fred gave George a pointed look.

“Well, if you do, you better get it together quick then cause she’s meeting me at our table at dinner to go over our plan for Transfiguration. And don’t worry, don’t worry, she’s not my type. I won’t steal your girl, she’s too…. Nice.” Fred explained, leading them both to their normal spots at the Gryffindor table.

George rolled his eyes, but internally sighed in relief, knowing his twin wouldn’t do anything to intentionally hurt his feelings.

Sitting down, they started to fill their plates as you walked over and sheepishly waved at them.

“Y/n! Take a seat! Any where you’d like!” Fred said cheerfully, trying his best to make you comfortable.

You grinned and took the seat next to Lee, right across from George, caddy corner to Fred. You started to fill your plate when Lee spoke up.

“No offense,” Lee started with his mouth full, “but what are you doing here?”

You smiled and explained, “I’m partners with Fred in transfiguration and he said we could talk about the project at dinner. Speaking of, I started looking through it and we’re gonna have to put some serious work in. We won’t be able to get started at dinner, much less get it finished in one day.” You said pointed towards Fred.

George, meanwhile was trying his best not to stare at you. He couldn’t look away from your (e/c) eyes and found you to be even more mesmerizing up close.

“Well, I guess you can come to the common room tonight if you would like?” Fred questioned.

“Sure, that would work!”

“Oh dear goodness, please tell me we aren’t adding a girl into our group.” Lee whined jokingly.

“Honestly, I think you could use a voice of reason and who better than a woman with a brain.” The boys chuckled at your comment.

After about 30 minutes of small talk, you headed to your room to grab your materials and the boys headed back to the Gryffindor common room to wait for you.

The boys at on a couch by a fire place and continued their conversation from dinner about a prank they were planning on doing.

“That’s genius Lee!! Come on, we’ve got to go write it down before we forget the details. That’s perfect!” The two boys sprinted toward their room, leaving George sitting, waiting for you.

He wanted to go with them, but would feel awful if when you came to knock on the door, no one was there to answer it and let you in. Just then, a knock sounded on the door.

George stood quickly, and smoothed out his trousers, suddenly very self conscious and nervous that he would have to actually talk to you.

He pushed open the portrait hole to find you standing on the other side with many heavy text books in hand.

“Oh wow, got quite the load there don’t ya.” George chuckled, letting you in.

You immediately recognized him as George, just by the gentle tone he took with you and the slight blush he seemed to always have on the top of his cheek bones. You instantly flushed when you realized that he was the only one waiting for you.

“Um. Fred and Lee got an idea for a prank so they had to go write it down… in the… in the room.” George tripped over his words.

“Oh okay. I’ll just get settled then.” You looked down and started arranging your books on the table.

George noticed your shy behavior and it almost gave him a little kick in the rear to talk to you.

“So, what do you like to do when you aren’t doing school?” He asked, sitting down beside you on the floor at the coffee table.

“Um, I really like to read. I also love nature, though I tend to kill plants if I own them, but I like walks and sitting by the lake.” You smiled, glancing over at him.

“That’s pretty cool. I like reading but Fred never did and since we do everything together I haven’t really ever had time. Ginny likes to read though, or at least she did when she was younger.” George said, leaning a little closer to you as you set out all your books and parchment.

Your eyes lit up with a sparkle that George wished he could take a picture of and carry with him every where he went. “If you ever want to try to take up reading again, let me know! I’ve got so many books you can borrow and depending on what you’re wanting to read.” You smiled at him.

and this girl was like, 15 and she was being thrown into debut suddenly with a bunch of boys, and it was very overwhelming

but mark assured her that it was all okay, and that everyone wanted her there, and that she deserved to be here

if she was ever having any problems with anything, he would always try his best to help her out, or direct her to someone he knew would help her

and now they are the bestest friends, sooyoung admitted that out of the members he feels like an older brother the most to her :D

once renjun saw that she was doing that and he went to where ever she was and complained about it and she just laughed at him while he was begging her to stop 😭

they also play fight a lot, like they could just randomly be hanging out in the living room and they would just randomly start fighting each other until they called a truce

sooyoung always wins ☺️, you gotta learn a few tricks if you spend the majority of your time with seven boys

also, when sooyoung got confindent and comfortable with speaking some mandarin, she randomly started speaking it renjun

and then a few months later she finally asked him to play

and he kept on hyping himself up,,, and then sooyoung beat him

j!!! omg. the party was a good time! we walked to my roommates friends house first bc she lives close by. she told me i looked great. so i had a confidence boost. and i said thanks and thanked her for inviting us. and she said “yeah i was told to bring some people and thought of you two. and dylan (thigh tat guy) said i should bring you two so that was perfect” and in my head i was like oh 👀 interesting. and anyway then we went to his house. and said hi to dylan who gave me a hug and his roommates. we talked for a bit and then we went to get drinks. and then we went to dance and whatever. and out of the corner of my eye i saw dylan talking to some girl. not that i was jealous i just didnt know what to expect from him yk. but then some guy started dancing with us. he leaned down to tell me i looked very nice and i said thanks. but he kind of had a weird vibe. and tried to offer me his cup that was totally full when i said i needed a new drink. i declined ofc. but when my friends and i tried to go somewhere else he followed us. so i found dylan and told him this guy was being sketch so he pretended like he needed us for something and took us to another room. and thankfully when we went back we didnt see that guy again.

but after we mentioned how that was kind of creepy, dylan made sure he stayed with us. and eventually i wanted to go outside for some air even though it was so cold out lol. but he went with me and my friends stayed with his roommates bc they didnt want to go out in the cold lol. i was sitting on the edge of their porch and he said “it’s good seeing you again” which made me smile 🙈 and i said “good seeing you too”. and he told me i looked beautiful. i blushed and tried to hide my face. but he got closer and moved my hair out of my face. and he goes “i still think about that one night with you” and then i leaned on his shoulder so he couldn’t see how red i was getting. and i mumbled that i did too. and idk what was gonna happen out there. but then there was a gust of wind and i shivered and he said we should go back inside so i wasnt cold.

so we went back inside and went back to our little group. eventually my friends wanted to leave to go to some other thing with people they knew but i didnt so i didnt want to go. and dylan told them he’d take me home later and they could go to their thing if we wanted. so they left. and it was me and the guys lol. but their party didnt last too much longer. and his roommates were like thank you for coming we’ve all gotta hang out soon. and i was like yeah ofc you guys are fun thanks for the invite. and they told dylan to made sure i got home safe and sound in one piece lol. so he drove me home. and we maybe made out in his car. but then he walked me to the door, told me to have a good night, and kissed me again. and i told him to let me know when he got home and he smirked and was like “is that you asking me to text you?” and i said “its just to make sure you make it home alive” and he stopped looking so smug and was like “i will” and he did. and now we have been texting all day 🙈

Ohhhh.. umm what about one with Seb where he is dating a famous author and the couple in her next book are based off her relationship with Seb (he knew this would happen). Reader is showing good and bad in the book and Seb is not happy. He starts to become self conscious about what he does and says with her. Reader notices and tries to get seb to open up but he is concerned it will be in her next novel. Idk where I went with this. But I would like some angst with a maybe happy ending? I love your writing so however you want this to play out- I trust you.

Also- i still love and support Seb too (though that has nit been easy the last six months). I'm hoping this is over shortly now that he has to work again.

Author’s Notes

Are you still at your computer putting the finishing touches of the first three chapters of your new book. Your editor has been bugging you over the last several days to get the chapters in. You try to explain to him that after going on a large book tour for your previous novel, which was a huge success, you wanted to take a little break before starting your next book. Once you were done with your chapters and felt satisfied, you fax them off to your editor immediately feeling accomplished.

He went downstairs and found your boyfriend Sebastian sitting on the couch watching TV. You sat down next to him on the couch and curled into a side, and he wraps his arms around your shoulders pulling you closer. “Hey baby how's the writing coming?” Seb asked. You cyan relief, "Thank god it's finally done in the first three chapters have been sent. Now he can leave me alone for a little while," you say laughing.

Sebastian kissed your head, "are you ever going to tell me what this new book is about?" You looked at him and honestly felt nervous, because you weren't sure how he was going to react to this. "Um... It's about a relationship between two people who come from completely different worlds, who argue sometimes, but seem to make it work," you say without looking him in the eye.

"Oh yeah? Where are you getting the inspiration?" He asked. You try to avoid eye contact, but Seb puts his hand to your chin and turns your face so that you are looking him in the eye. "What are you hiding from me?" He asked. You sigh again, "I'm writing about you and me.”

Seb’s eyes widen in surprise, "So… You're letting people in on our relationship? You're telling them about our fights, our sex life, everything? And you didn't feel like you needed to tell me?" Seb asked getting angry. You look Sebastian in the eyes, "I'm sorry. My editor wanted me to write about us. He feels that fact that you’re a famous actor will help me sell more books. I didn’t want to do it! I swear, but what am I supposed to do?” you ask defensively.

“I want to read what you have written,” Seb demands. You stand up, “You know no one but me and my editor can read my book until we are both satisfied. That’s my process,” you say. Sebastian stands up and puts his hands on his hips, “I can I ever trust you now? What’s to say that everything you do for me isn’t just for your book? Like this fight! I’m sure you are going to put that in!” he yells.

“Seb. I swear I am not going to push our relationship for my book. I am talking about how difficult things are for us because of our jobs, but we work hard together and make it work,” you say, trying to get him to not be upset. “Why didn’t you ask me? Why have’t you discussed this with me, at least once? You have been writing chapters for a week and never bothered to tell me that it was about me? That you are using my fame to sell books?” he sneered.

You step back, offended by his words. “Wow. You think that low of me?” you ask. “You just said your editor wanted it because I’m a famous actor, what am I supposed to think?” he yells again. “I know I should have told you, I know I should have asked you, but I was caught between a rock and a hard place. But I am a very well known author, who has written several New York Times Bestsellers, so excuse me, but I don’t need Sebastian Stan the actor to sell my books!” you yell back.

“I want to read the chapters,” he says again. You deflate because you know it’s only fair, even though it goes against your process, but you nod and walk into the office to retrieve a copy. When you come back, Sebastian is sitting on the couch with his head in his hands. Your heart breaks thinking that you hurt him. That was not your intention at all. You hand him the chapters and sit next to him, but he stands up, “I’m going to bed. I’ll sleep in the guest room,” he says quietly before walking up the stairs. You watch him as tears fall from your eyes.

Over the next several days, Sebastian has kept a distance and barely speaks with you. You try to get him to open up to you, but he pushes you away each time. When you finally ask why his response breaks your heart, “Because I can’t trust that you won’t use what I say in your book,” he says before leaving the room. 

You start to panic that he is going to end your relationship over this, which is the last thing you want. You called your editor and begged him to allow you to change the subject of your book, or to use different names so no one knows it’s you, but your editor denies all your requests and starts to demand the next set of chapters.

You lie on your bed contemplating what you should do. Either way this is going to end up bad. You could lose your boyfriend, whom you love, or you could lose your editor and will have to start your career over. You feel like you are trapped with no way out and the panic seeps through you constantly.

Seb walks into the bedroom and into the walk-in closet while you lay there, not saying anything. When he walks out he has a suitcase, which makes your panic even worse. “Are you leaving me?” you ask him on the verge of a breakdown? Seb looks at you, but it’s not the same as he used you. Everything is different now.

“I have a job, so I figured I would leave early and give us some space until I can think about what I want to do,” he says as he starts to pack. You feel like he was done so quickly and you followed him to the front door. “Seb, please. I love you. I love you so much, baby. Please don’t leave me. I don’t want this to come between us,” you beg. 

Sebastian looks into your eyes again and you see confusion, hurt, and sadness. “I just... I can’t help but feel that everything was a lie for a book. If I can’t trust you, how can I be with you? I just need time to think,” he says. You break down and sob into your hands. Sebastian pulls you into a hug and kisses the side of your head.

“I will talk to you when I’m ready. But for now I need space and I really hope you understand,” he says sadly. You nod, knowing that he is right, but you hate it. He grabs his bags and leaves you alone in the apartment to your thoughts. You can’t believe that you just allowed your career to surpass your relationship. Suddenly the hate you feel for yourself is so extreme that you scream and destroy everything in your path.

You already destroyed the best thing that ever happened to you.

well, even though literally no one asked, am i going to do a whole analysis on how the red album is also lowkey about tcw? sure. sh, let me indulge 12/13 year old me.

state of grace:

our wonderful opening track. the lyrics “just twin fire signs / four blue eyes”—from this line alone, i think a lot about anakin and ahsoka and obi-wan, just because what color are their eyes? blue. check and mate.

but on a more serious level: “and i never saw you coming / and i’ll never be the same” speaks to how each of these characters’ lives were interrupted by the presence of the other. obi-wan certainly didn’t expect anakin to come into his life, and i doubted anakin ever expected ahsoka to come into his life.

“love is a ruthless game unless you play it good and right” and “these are the hands of fate / you’re my Achilles heel” speaks to how this whole theme of love and how both raw and burning and ruthless love can shine in this specific universe. specifically anakin’s kind of love. additionally, the idea of Achilles heel...i’ve already discussed the parallels between Achilles and anakin and don’t feel like rehashing, but it’s def. worth noting.

“this is the golden age of something good and right and real”...golden age. the war was messy and terrible and shouldn’t have ever happened, but also, i think for that brief moment, disaster lineage was at least together.

look me in the eye and lie to me about how this song doesn’t sum up the exhilarating rush that must have been being around someone like anakin skywalker.

“losing him was blue like i’ve ever known / missing him was dark grey all alone / forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you never met / but loving him was red”: this entire refrain is about that kind of ruthless, very fiery-seeing-red-everywhere kind of sensation that comes with love. alright, time to put on the anidala hat. this song is supposed to be all about loving someone and constantly feeling like you’re sliding down a slippery slope. a treacherous path—a reckless path—and yet, and yet, “i like it”.

the whole concept of these two being put in a whirlwind romance matches perfectly with these lyrics: “i can’t decide if it’s a choice / getting swept away / i hear the sound of my own voice / asking you to stay”. this mess of a relationship that probably shouldn’t have happened, but it happened, and now the only choice for these two is to hold on...bro.

i knew you were trouble.

ohhhh god, do i need to explain how this is an anidala song or—

“i was in your sights / you got me alone / you found me”,,,the fact that anakin skywalker really looked at padmé amidala after ten years and automatically went “i love her”. a part of me will always sigh and want to pat anakin’s head that please, please, please control yourself, but what am i supposed to do anyways—

but also, the way this song also addresses all the dangerous things that come with a love that probably shouldn’t have started / shouldn’t have been born with so many secrets. the damning / basically self-loathing lyrics like “the joke is on me” and “shame on me now” is honestly kind of sad, and while i don’t think padmé ever regretted loving anakin (and i’ve covered this so many times, but i think anakin and padmé genuinely loved each other), there was def. a sense of constant danger and fear that one day, all the secrets will come tumbling out / something’s going to happen. and all that ultimately bubbles over in revenge of the sith, right when padmé looks at anakin and just doesn’t see him anymore.

all too well

tbh, this song deserves a whole long post on its own, but i’ll try to be concise. i genuinely think this could be about any of the tcw characters / tcw pairings, but because it’s my post and my obsession, i’ll discuss the disaster lineage. there’s something so quietly sad about the line “but you still got [my scarf] in your drawer, even now” and how that speaks to how obi-wan has anakin’s lightsaber / how anakin has ahsoka’s lightsaber both as himself and as ahsoka after ahsoka left the order / after order 66. the fact that you still have a piece of someone you love(d), long after they’re gone...

the fact that this song is so full of memories and longing and aching and grief over a loved relationship. thinking about the lyrics “you tell me about your past, thinking your future was me” is especially sad because while i don’t think anakin was ever completely open about his childhood / past, i like to think he must have told some stories to obi-wan and padmé and ahsoka about happier moments—and you have to wonder what kind of future anakin saw for himself with his loved ones.

“maybe this thing was a masterpiece until you tore it all up” speaks to how for a rare, rare moment, we see anakin skywalker as the hero we’re all supposed to like—and we see how it all crumbles apart so fast.

“but you keep my old scarf from that very first week / because it reminds you of innocence and it smells like me” hits especially hard when you think about how vader still has ahsoka’s lightsabers, or the fact that everything goes “back to when i loved you so / back before you lost the one real thing you’ve ever known”...thinking. a lot about anakin and how the love he felt / received from his friends were real, realer than anything that palpacreep could ever give him. it was all real, and now they’re all memories.

okay, this is just a fun song so i can’t really apply it anywhere, but i like to think there must have been a birthday somewhere along the line / some kind of happy event where there’s some chaotic tcw fam shenanigans. ditching the whole scene and “end[ing] up dreaming instead of sleeping”...i like to think they must have had some kind of happy moment like that.

i almost do

this song honestly reminds me the most of anakin and ahsoka. do you ever think that ahsoka might have wanted to reach out to anakin at some point? how “it takes everything in me not to call you”—how she might wish that she could talk to him again but every time she doesn’t, she almost does. (and ha. this makes their S7 reunion even more painful.)

the whole “i bet you think i either moved on or hate you” and “i bet it never ever occurred to you that i can’t say hello to you and risk another goodbye” speaks mostly to that very same reunion. the fact that ahsoka and anakin leave so many things unsaid—the fact that ahsoka restrains herself, cites that reason for the fact that they’ll just catch up another time...when that another time never happens.

we are never ever getting back together

hahaa, i can’t quite laugh about this but also i can because i kinda made a crack edit of disaster lineage + this song over the summer, and it really is just a joke but also...lol vader + ahsoka + obi-wan, but more specifically ahsoka and vader in their reunion in rebels lol. they’re never getting back together, geddit? they “used to think [they] were forever” and “[sigh] he calls me up again and is like i still love you and like,,,this is exhausting, you know?” yeah, me too sis. 🙄

stay stay stay

okay, okay, okay, maybe going a little bit into crack-y happy tcw feelings, but all i’m saying is that i love the image of these dorks staying for each other, you know? the whole “you took the time to memorize me” and “all those times that you didn’t leave / it’s been occurring to me i’d like to hang out with you for my whole life” and “no one else is gonna love me when i get mad” makes me kinda soft but also sad knowing that one of the tragedies of tcw fam is that no one really stays.

the last time

highkey the whole clovis arc in season 6. but anyways, especially the lines about “this is the last time i’m asking you this / put my name at the top of your list” speaks a lot to me about this hunger (yeah, this is @ anakin) to be someone’s first choice. it’s about the anger and jealousy and dull pain of knowing that everyone else’s priorities are elsewhere (and that’s not their fault, but you still feel like it is).

but if we’re thinking about the clovis arc especially, i think a whole lot about anakin + padmé, as well as anakin and obi-wan, esp. in these lyrics: “you wear your best apology / but i was there to watch you leave” and “all those times i let you in / just for you to go again”. we know anakin and padmé were...going through it in this arc, but specially anakin and obi-wan’s conversation—the one where obi-wan’s trying to reach anakin? we see obi-wan briefly open up (ie. about satine!) and anakin quickly shuts it down, and when obi-wan leaves, we see the pain on both of their faces because this wasn’t how the conversation was supposed to go.

but also, if we’re circling back to anakin and padmé’s relationship in this arc especially: the really, really painful lyrics about “this is the last time you tell me i’ve got it wrong” and “this is the last time i say it’s been you all along” and “this is the last time i let you in my door” and “this is the last time / i won’t hurt you anymore”...this arc truly explores just how deep the hurt can run when you have a secret relationship. how quickly love can blur into possession and jealousy and anger, and we see that in how anakin and padmé just...both crumble apart, especially in that one bit when padmé basically says she doesn’t want to see anakin for a little while. like. idk. it’s just sad, because this arc really showed just all the issues and problems within a relationship built on lies.

holy ground

oh god, what a fun song. but anyways, just to kick things off: “and darling, it was good / never looking down / and right there where we stood / was holy ground” speaks to a relationship that was good, even if it was wild and brief. which. disaster lineage.

the whole “i guess we fall apart in the usual way / and the story’s got dust on every page” and “i see your face in every crowd” vibe too—these idiots miss each other, and they probably see each other where they’re not supposed to. there was nothing unusual about their falling apart, of course, but something about this song compels me to think about how even in the grief and pain that ultimately drags ahsoka and obi-wan down especially, i think they still are fond of their happier memories with anakin.

also, “tonight i’m gonna dance for all we’ve been through” and “but i don’t wanna dance if i’m not dancing you” makes me a little sad because i think a lot about the fall of the empire and how the whole galaxy is out celebrating, but there’s a certain togruta woman who can’t completely celebrate because now she knows that. her whole family. really is gone.

sad beautiful tragic

this whole song is so tragic, but. anyways. more tragic disaster lineage vibes. the words “words, how little they mean / when you’re a little too late” makes me want to scream because i think a lot about how in rebels, ahsoka tells vader that she won’t leave him—not this time—and obi-wan crying that he loved anakin—the real tragedy here is that these were all words that anakin should have known deep down, but he didn’t, and they all felt late. their timing is terrible.

and “in dreams, i meet you in warm conversation” screams to me this one passage about how obi-wan dreams about anakin, although those dreams are anything but warm. but the idea of how obi-wan still dreams and how “time is taking its sweet time erasing you”—because in the kenobi novel especially, obi-wan explicitly struggles...a lot with anakin’s loss. he definitely gets...sad and tries to remember how the hell it all happened. he keeps pulling out anakin’s lightsaber and just. forcibly puts it away because he knows looking at it would cause just more grief and oh yikes.

the lucky one

ngl i forgot how fuckign good this song is,,,bro. anyways, i think this def. speaks to the og prequel trilogy trio especially, because i think they were all seriously going through with the whole...reputation thing. thinking mostly about how anakin, padmé, and obi-wan are all supposed to be these heroic / cool / beautiful figures who everyone’s supposed to look up to when in reality, they were all struggling with something. also lol the fact that obi-wan and anakin were both propped up as war propaganda figures in-universe because of palpacreep def. speaks to that whole “they’ll tell you now you’re the lucky one”.

and “they tell you that you’re lucky / but you’re so confused because you don’t feel pretty, you just feel used” and “you wonder if you’ll make it out alive” hurts the most, i think, just because how they apply to all those in prequel trilogy. anakin, obi-wan, and padmé—not to mention all the other jedi and the clones, oh god, the clones—were all fighting a war that ultimately didn’t matter, and they were all fighting a war that didn’t leave them as heroes. it just left them as pawns.

but i think if there’s any hope—any hope at all in this song, i think it’s in the last lyrics: “and they still tell the legend of how you disappeared / how you took the money and your dignity and got the hell out” reminds me the most of probably ahsoka and rex, or the people who survived the mess that was the clone wars. granted, rex didn’t exactly have the choice that ahsoka had, because she was the one who really made the big decision to look around herself and say “nope, i can’t be a part of this order”. she got the hell out.

everything has changed

hear me out, but i just think this makes for a cute anakin and ahsoka song, esp. their very cute beginnings. just like. as soon as they meet each other, both of them are ultimately changed. the fact that ahsoka has been noted to be the key to understanding who anakin is—the fact that it’s ahsoka’s relationship / interactions with anakin that ultimately makes him a better person because they’re siblings, your honor—yeah. very much the cute “all i know is we said hello”...the lyrics going on about “i just wanna know you better” and “your eyes look like coming home” makes me soft because. i think that while yes, they had their own rocky beginning, the difference between anakin and ahsoka’s relationship vs. anakin and obi-wan’s (rip i love anakin and obi-wan and i genuinely believe that obi-wan was the best teacher for anakin, and i think their bond is incredibly special, but.......boys please communicate better) is that i think anakin makes a really explicit effort to make sure ahsoka knows that like. he wants her around.

idk—i’m not saying obi-wan didn’t want anakin around! but i think one of the greatest tragedies of their relationship is that anakin always seemed to just. not click with obi-wan’s own demonstrations of love / i want you to be here messages. (the gambit duology goes a little more into this—only in those books, anakin and obi-wan actually talk a little about their feelings! which is nice!) but anyways, point being: anakin and ahsoka really looked at each other and were like “oh yeah. you’re my idiot now.” and i think that’s really cool of them.

oh god, this is kind of an anidala song but i also am tempted to say obitine song just because of that one line about “pretending to be a duchess and a prince” because,,,lol duchess geddit? and overall just think it’s really cute because. summer love!!!

but also, i do see this as an anidala song because “he was trying to skip rocks on the ocean, saying to me / don’t you dream impossible things?” because i see anakin as most certainly that dreamy-eyed boy who looks at padmé and is just. like that. (and we see a whole ton of that, esp. in aotc and how padmé initially is like “this is a terrible idea” and eventually winds up falling in love anyways, as one does.)

begin again

this song is odd because it doesn’t really give me overwhelming star wars feelings, but it does remind me a little bit of how ahsoka must have felt getting with the rebels crew. because i think ahsoka must have “watched it begin again” when she noted kanan and ezra’s interactions with each other, and i feel like when she’s with ezra, she sees a lot of the young padawan she used to be, and i think there must have been a point where she recognizes that “what’s past is past”. she’s watching everything begin again.

the moment i knew

this is another one of those songs that makes me sad about anidala because it seems like they’re always getting interrupted? the idea of being told that someone’s going to show but it might not happen because life (ie. war! there’s a war!),,,and still not being able to be really that sad about it in public makes me sad. just. i’m reminded of this one moment in tcw where anakin has to leave early because of something and just. the lyrics “what do you do when the one who means the most to you is the one who didn’t show”—like, of course, we see anakin sneaking off, but i def. think in that one tcw episode, we get a glimpse of. how lonely life might be if you’re just. waiting for someone to come home, only to realize that they might not show.

okay, so as for anakin and ahsoka first: “i can’t help but wish you took me with you” hits hard just because of the time anakin tells ahsoka that he knows what it feels like to want to leave the order. just. oh god.

and then there’s this bit of “this is when the feeling sinks in / i don’t wanna miss you like this” hits hard, esp. considering the whole utapau arc where anakin accidentally slips in ahsoka’s name. he misses her, and i don’t think he really wanted to show that—but it sinks in so hard and fast for him, and it hurts so much oh god

also, the “right when i was just about to fall”: i know that in this context, fall is supposed to mean falling in love, but. the fact that anakin is literally about to fall like,,,a few days after his reunion with ahsoka. i cry now!

as for obitine: ahahahaha. pain, esp. considering how they probably separated after their year on the run? thinking about how that goodbye must have been like—mostly thinking about how there’s so much history between the two. how strange it is that they “didn’t know each other at all”, and how they might have had “the feeling they could know so much without knowing anything at all”, and now i think about how both of them could have “stumbled through the long goodbye”. i think a lot about those years of separation and how satine confesses how she had been in love with obi-wan for a long time—and how that in itself...wondering how or when satine knew for certain that she had fallen in love with the young jedi who came to her aid. thinking about how her “falling in love in the cruelest way” is how that whole falling in love—and realizing just how in love she was—is so cruel, because like. you know. when you’ve been in love / are loving someone for like...ten years....that’s kinda intense ngl

lol this song doesn’t really fit with anything star wars related because i don’t think anyone in tcw would actually cheat on their loved ones? still 100000/10 a bop of a song though, and i still think it’s one of swift’s more mature songs, 10000/10 recommend.

Your parents shower wasn’t that big, after all it was the Barrio. It was almost like cramming two people in a bathroom stall. 

“Maybe this wasn’t a great idea,” You winced as Rafael’s elbow nearly missed your eye. 

“Well, maybe we can’t go for round two, but I can still pamper you hermosa,” He lathered shampoo in his hands and began massaging your scalp. It was like he had magic fingers, the way they moved all around your head, hitting pleasure spots you were unaware you even had. 

“Mmmmm,” You purred. The head massage with the warm water, all of your stress just melted away. You weren’t thinking of the kids, or the restaurant, or even the Diablos. It was just you and Rafael, here in this moment. 

“Now rinse,” Rafael instructed, and you obliged. As the water cascaded over your face, he began massaging your shoulders with soft kisses mixed in. 

“You’re killin me smalls,” You groaned with a laugh.

There was zero way you were having sex in this shower without someone breaking something. Still, it was too enticing. You turned to face him, lathering shampoo in your own hands and rubbing it into his hair gently, pulling him in to kiss you as you did so. Pretty soon you could feel his erection against your naked thigh. 

“How’s your upper body strength?” You asked devilishly.

“It’s...adequate,” Rafael saw the wheels turning in your head.

“Well then I better work fast,” You grabbed him into a hard kiss and jumped into his arms, pushing him inside you. 

“Mmmph!”  He knew what was coming, but it still took him aback as he tried to distribute your weight in his arms without slipping and killing you both. However once he got a rhythm going, the feeling was intoxicating. He bounced you up and down while you had your legs tightly wrapped around him like a tree. 

“Are you almost there baby? I really oversold myself here,” He grunted, making you giggle. 

“Aw honey, is the arthritis kicking in?” You teased him, pulling on his hair as you bounced.

“Ha ha,” He couldn’t even come with a witty comeback, he was at capacity all around. 

“Alright alright, let mama help,” You balanced on him with one hand, as your other reached down and went inside you, between his ball sack and your clit. You started rubbing it around as hard as you could, encouraging completion from the both of you. You must have done a hell of a job, because one moment you heard you both moaning in pleasure, and the next you were waking up on the floor of the shower, Rafael still inside you.

“Fucking Christ! What happened?” You couldn’t help but laugh at the absurdness of this whole thing.

“Shit, fuck are you ok Y/N?” Rafael pulled out of you and frantically searched your body for injuries. 

“Yeah...I think I bumped my head,” 

“Yeah I um...we both...and I dropped you,” He turned bright red, making you laugh harder.

“It’s not that funny,” He grumbled, helping you to your feet.

“Aww, baby I know, I know,” You giggled as you rinsed the suds that were all over him. 

“Are you sure you’re ok? That was a pretty hard thump on the head,” He searched your eyes for dilation, making sure you didn’t have a concussion. 

“Trust me, my hard head can handle a lot,” You assured him. 

“Okay, good. Now no more shenanigans, I can’t end up in the hospital over sexcapades,” He chuckled as he finished cleaning himself. 

“Oh yeah, what would the people say?!” You feigned shock.

“They’d say that’s still pretty tame to some of the other government officials' dirty deeds,” He chuckled as you rinsed off and went to grab some towels off the rack. 

“Oooh scandalous,” You giggled, turning off the water and handing him one of the towels. You both dried yourselves off, then stopped to look at your reflections in the mirror.

“Well, this is one image I never expected to see in this mirror,” You smirked, reaching and ruffling Rafael’s hair. As you turned to face him you wrapped your arms around his neck. 

 “Yeah this is a whole 180 from kicking me out of your place,” He smirked. 

“I didn’t kick you out! You were already outside!” 

“Semantics,” He rolled his eyes as he walked over to his clothes and began to put them on.

“So you really, never thought--?” You perched yourself at the foot of the bed, still wrapped in your towel.

“In the middle of you screaming at me? No, I can’t say that it did,” He chuckled.

“I’m really sorry about that,” 

“Don’t be,” He kissed your forehead. “It’s far behind us,” You smiled and pecked him on the lips.

“Speaking of,” He glanced at his phone. “I am FAR BEHIND schedule, I better go. I still have to go home and get into abogado mode,” He chuckled as he grabbed his leather jacket and walked out of the room into the hall. You trailed behind in your towel, down the stairs and to the back door where he paused and held you for a moment. 

“I hate to say it, but next time you see me…” 

“You’ll be abogado Rafael Barba, not Rafa,” you finished with a sad smile; you rolled the R as he did the night before. 

“Yeah…” He played with your hands in his, looking sadly at the floor.

“Well it’s good we got that out of our systems then,” You half smiled, making his head jerk up. 

“....Seriously?” He asked with so much hurt in his voice. 

“I was feeling you out, guapo,” You pushed his shoulder playfully as he let out a sigh of relief. 

“But seriously, that’s gonna have to last us for a while,” You stroked his cheek. “I can’t have the kids thinking…” 

“I know,” he put a hand over yours on his face. “I can’t have people talking either,” 

“But as SOON as my parents are home--” You batted your eyes. 

“Oh it’s on, mi amor,” He pulled you in for another kiss, you smiled into his lips. 

“Alright, well have Mr. Barba call me later, yeah?” You chuckled as he mounted his bike. 

“He will definitely be in touch, Miss Y/N,” He winked before driving out of the alley way and down the street. 

You leaned against the doorway, drinking in the whole night/morning. You were so lost in happiness, you didn’t notice the shadow figure emerging from down the alley.

“Hola, Y/N,” Diego’s voice startled you so bad you almost dropped your towel.

“D-Diego,” You whispered, unsure what to do. 

“I knew it, the abogado wanted him some nice chicano ass, those boring gringa Barbies ain’t shit,” He chuckled. 

“That’s NOT--” 

“No you know what it’s not? It’s not okay for you to disrespect me like this,” He shook his head. 

“Ay, mami. I tried to be nice, I really did. I gave you a nice warning and everything,” He put hand to your cheek but you jerked it away. 

“You leave us alone, Diego,” You summoned all the courage you had to stand up against him. 

“Ohhhh, kitty’s got claws now!” He laughed harder. “That’s cute,” 

“Rafael already put one of you away, he could finish the job,” You got way too cocky for your own good. Diego got in your face, his hands almost around your throat.

“Or I could finish him, puta!” He growled.

 “Rafa thinks he’s chico grande because he climbed up out of here, and yet look at this, he’s still slumming it,” He nodded at you with an evil smirk. “I think he needs to be reminded who still runs this place,” 

And that was it. You didn’t remember anything else until you heard Mari screaming at you. 

“Y/N!!!! Oh my God… Y/N!!! Are you ok? Please wake up, please wake up…” She was shaking you. It took you a moment to return to consciousness, but as your brain started to wake up, so did the pain. 

“Ow…” You muttered. Mari let out a breath of relief as she threw her hands around your neck and pulled you up. 

“What the fuck happened?!” 

“Diego…” You muttered, still not quite able to form full sentences. 

“Diego? Why would Diego beat the shit out of you?”

“Rafa…” You mumbled back, walking over to the mirror of your backroom. Your hair was disheveled, gravel all tangled in it. Your face was black and blue, your lip was bleeding. You removed your towel to asses the damage to your body. Black and blue bruises were forming on your rib cage. It was obvious once Diego had punched you out he literally kicked the shit out of you. 

“Jesus Christ...we should get you to a hospital,” Mari came up behind you with tears in her eyes as she saw just how badly you were hurt.

“No!” You spun around to face her. “That is the LAST thing we need to do,” You hobbled up your stairs. 

“Seriously, Y/N? Look at you, you can barely walk!”

“I’m fine,” You walked back into your parent’s bedroom, Mari trailed right behind you. You winced in pain as you sat on the bed. You looked over to the spot where you and Rafael had just been together hours before; how did it go from that to this?

“Wow, it looks like you had sex in here....” Mari trailed off, looking at you. “OH MY GOD,” 

“Can you not yell, please?” You held your ear in pain.

“That’s why Diego came after you! Rafael was here, wasn’t he?” Mari was starting to get angry.

“Maybe…”

“Oh that son of a bitch,” Mari started pacing angrily. “I can’t believe he let him do that shit to you!”

“He didn’t,” You winced more as you tried getting dressed. “He left, and then Diego jumped me,” 

“Where’s your phone? That pendejo is getting a piece of my mind--” Mari started going for your phone on the dresser.

“NO,” You grabbed it before she could. “If you call Rafa, he’ll just come right back down here and he can’t deal with all of...this,” You gestured to your bruised body.  “He has a job, he doesn’t have time to worry about me,” 

“He did this to you!”

“I did this to myself, Mari,” You sighed. “He came over last night and I should’ve told him to leave-- but I didn’t,” Tears stung your eyes as you spoke. 

“And now the universe is severely punishing me for it,” You threw your hands up. “I should’ve known not to fly close to the sun-- I got burned,” 

“And then some,” Mari looked at you sadly. “Well, obviously you can’t see him again,” 

“Obviously,”  You sighed, doing your best to keep a brave face. “Can you...Would you go downstairs and open for me? I need a minute,” 

“Absolutely babe, you take as long as you need,” Mari nodded and gave you a hug as she left and closed the door behind her.

As soon as she was gone, you couldn’t hold it in anymore. You collapsed onto the bed in sobs; pathetic, loud, carnal sobs.

jonaeriwagon is soooooo so so cute it involves the most wholesome and purehearted jojo characters and it makes me smile so wide. erina and jonathan r childhood sweethearts and erina helped jonathan back on his feet after he lost EVERYTHING in the first fight against dio at the mansion. jonathan and speedwagon are best FRIENDS OKAY!! SPEEDWAGON LITERALLY CHANGES HIS ENTIRE WALK OF LIFE BECAUSE OF JONATHAN AND THE KINDNESS HE SHOWED HIM. i know erina and speedwagon didn't interact a whole lot in part 1 but like they're BEST. FRIENDS. in part 2, so much so joseph thought something was going on between them. i bring this up bc then it’s proof that this ship is full of ppl who just care for each other so much. they just adore each other and love each other and I'm crying
