"this is an inaccurate adaptation" okay but is it good "this didn't happen in the book" does it make sense in the context of the new work though "they totally changed the plot" and is the new one good or bad "it's completely different" not what I asked "they changed all the stuff I like" then I get why you wouldn't be into it but I'm asking about its own artistic merits "this character is meant to be blonde" I couldn't give less of a fuck

I love when I'm like. "Hey, your jokes about straight people are starting to make me kind of uncomfortable, like maybe you don't like me or think poorly of me or something. Could you knock it off maybe?" to my white queer friends and they'll tweak out and be like "WOULD YOU LET ME SAY THIS TO YOU IF YOU WERE BITCHING ABOUT WHITE PEOPLE" and I'm like "I mean, I try to keep topics of that nature to a minimum around you and only vent / joke about that stuff to my black and latino friends if I can help it, your comfort is more important to me than low hanging fruit tier jokes" and watching their brains glitch out.
