Bucky groans when you just hit the Hydra Agent before he runs away and you follow him. I'm sorry if this is too personal but did you had/have any art trauma caused by art teachers in school? And by trauma I mean some aversion to try learning one thing, because art teacher was just a dick. I have something like that with shading and it still holds after 6 years as a adult and I want to break it, but I cannot force myself to try it again and this holds my proggres as a ,,artist" and that's make me smad. I'm sorry once again if this is too personal or too hard to answer

I studied ceramics in uni but I did have nude art classes and classes that required detailed art projects.

Although most of my uni time was wasted thanks to covid, I did get harrassed by a few of my classmates and my teacher in my last year.

My classmate had said that my art level wasnt good enough to be in this uni and my teacher yelled at me in the middle of class for like a week or two because I refused his ideas for my projects (he had given me the ok on the design before he changed his mind 180 and started pointing and laughing at me with my classmates while i worked on my ceramic project)

I eventually had to give up resisting because I wanted to pass the class and let him do whatever he wanted. (He legit just put clay on top of my design, smoothed it out and that was it in fact here is the design he gave me the ok to, the middle of my project and the way he stopped me)

After this I basicly didnt do anything more for his class, minimum effort. My days in Uni weren't all bad thank god but I was extremely unmotivated.

After I graduated, I didnt really draw or create much until my love for drawing rekindled with Cult of The Lamb! I love this game and Narilamb too much lmao-

But as for something similar to your experience I would say that I used to play the bass and electro guitar in highschool and we had to perform one day which I chickened out from that resulted in the music teacher getting angry at me. I dont play the guitar anymore :/ But my love for music hasnt died and I am using my love for art diffrently!

I would say that even if certain experiences deviates you from some topics, branches of art or people, dont let it kill your whimsy and ideas. You can always try out diffrent things to find something fun like diffrent styles of drawing, shading or no shading, diffrent mediums like digital or traditional, new or old techniques, weird colors or designs. You can always try out whats popular to see if you like it or not as well. You can also consume a lot of art media, educational or entertainment.

There is so many creative things you can try out, you dont have to be stuck on the past and that one shading idea your teacher tried to teach you ır tried to force onto you. I think you can go back to it after trying out many diffrent things to see if it was the technique or the teacher that ruined it for you.

If it was the technique, there are many MANY diffrent ones that you can enjoy!

If it was the teacher, Im not a therapist so idk what would be the right thing to say but healing takes time, sometimes the things people say never leaves you and sometimes you forget it 5 minutes later. You are a person with the ability to change, learn and grow. The only thing that is in your way is your 'will'. If you are willing to change, even if takes a long time, you will change! But if you dont want to, then no one can force you.

Healing and moving on is hard but not impossible. Dont let an asshole teacher get in the way of your growth ❤️

My own take on ben and rex's timeline 😗✌️

based on my own canon and rewriting some stuff especially on ben 10 lol

I'm not entirely sure about the ages idk anymore

I want to keep ben's OV outfit cuz I actually like it a little but it's more of an alternate outfit he would wear just like star's from svtfoe, similar to rex's (omg I still haven't decided what color it would be lol) (honestly I originally not gonna give rex an alt outfit but I ended up liking it)

Here are some of my (ben 10) rewrites I had in my head for now

I don't think ben really I mean really cannot take the omnitrix (it misses the point of the idea of a kid wielding a powerful weapon and unable to take it off it so has no choice to look after them imo) I feel he wouldn't use it in his 13-14 yrs that much than he used to until the events of alien force

I'm not gonna give ben the ultimatrix, I'm sorry man I don't really like it's idea and it's way too gimmicky and nothing else, also it just adds the fact that the omnitrix can easily be removed

his personality is a mix with alien force and omniverse, a goofball at heart but he's serious when he needs to

I'm not gonna include alien x into the roster, idk I find it weird that ben just casually had this ultra powerful thing and it just adds the fact that cn just power creeping ben and it's so ehhh, he never really had an earned character development god mode just like rex just cn just refused him to, I find it weird that this omnipotence ass alien that can wrap reality has dna and anodites don't have for some reason, (they probably want gwen to be special) my point is I don't like alien x

but there's this headcanon I find where ben's actually had the anodite heritage but the omnitrix suppresses it for the transformation and also, I really like this idea idk

I really don't have any rewrite with gen rex, since I'm really content with the main canon, but I'm still sad that we won't have more content cuz rex's powers and lore is really interesting

RECOGNIZES ITS THE HERO FROM THE TAPESTRY???? like, CASUALLY even?? like a well known fact ?? did i miss some big lore part somewhere that talked about that dog gerudo sonau thing?? and if its on the tapestry that means it wasnt that long ago really (i mean ... all the sonau shit is still pretty much fully intact so arguing that they came and went in the time between totks past and botws past isnt that plausible either imo ..??) o how come you never see anything from that and yet its somehow completely known for them, and you cannot tell me she saw the abstract version of the hero and then looked at that armor and went thats the same bc two colors veguely matched or what?!! also given that its fully clothed in sonau stuff .. like the arms are literally raurus bracelets .. thingies, but then the sonau where supposedly a complete and unknown mystery until it suddendly came all raining from the sky and revealing its been there and EVERYWHERE the whole time apparently? with the most we knew was some flimsyly made stereotypical barbaric armor set in faron in botw? which i guess is also fully undone by totk since it shares absolutely zero in desing to the 'actual' sonau stuff we got in totk

and if it where some sort of descendant from the mix of kids rauru and sonai kinda .. must have had (unless they did away with zeldas bloodline stuff too .. which .. why even call it zelda anymore at this point lol) then again, where did those features come from (like the tail and red hair, the strange googly eyes? is there a mix of goron in there too??) and how was it then not documented or seen anywhere else?? youd imagine the mutant kids of the first tragically dead king and queen of this hyrule would be known in some way .. that is assuming it was that, but given the weird features no other species has still is ... it just doesnt add up

(i had the awful thoguht for a second that it might supposed to mean the gerudo came from that but .. the gerudo are already there LITERALLY the 1:1 same as in the present, just like all the other species ... which is also disappointing as hell, like seriously? not even different feather colors for the rito? literally the same clothing for the gerudo as in botw but white with golden stuff instead?? some vaguely different zora features? idk ? anything? also the hero would never be gerudo, we know only evil comes from that *explodes*)

if its supposed to be a mystery then they absolutely failed in making it any interesting or intriguing but still something that feels like its part of the world, like botw was very good at giving you mysteries you wanted to talk and theorize about that still felt organic, harmonic with the world, but in totk its all either boring answers or just ... completely out of nowhere and just kinda stumps you (in a bad way)

*sighs* yet antoher ramble rant, this game could have had it all, it was right there on the plate in front of them all they needed to do is grasp at it, why wouldnt you ..

✧ Hiya! Super old ask so idk if you're even here anymore lol but sure <3 thought the ask was cute and I could probably do an uber short version for funsies <3✧ Characters: Kaveh, Alhaitham, Cyno, Tighnari

✧ Kaveh ✧

Kaveh has a hard time balancing 'my s/o can handle themselves without me being around 24/7' and 'i must do everything for them'

You do get a laugh out of how caring he is sometimes, in a good way! Kaveh wants to make sure you're super comfortable. He's also happy to answer any questions you have. Sometimes, you need to know what something looks like- he's got your back.

He's there to help with anything! ANYTHING. He'll get you water, help you walk up the stairs, help ease you onto the bed or the couch.

He'll make sure anything he designs is super handicap friendly for both blindness and people who may have a hard time with moving around without assistance.

✧ Alhaitham ✧

Alhaitham is very composed when it comes to helping you or doing anything for you. He doesn't act like it's too much work, he doesn't make any weird remarks, he just treats you like a normal person. How you like it.

He's also very patient. If you don't want help with something and want to do it on your own, he'll wait there. Again, no remarks, just silence. Whether you accomplish it or not is when he'll speak up.

Alhaitham is always prepared. He makes sure you have your walking stick, if you have a guide dog, he'll make sure people don't try to pet em. He might as well be your guide human.

Your favorite part about him is how normally he treats you. Your disability isn't evident to him and he doesn't ever bring it up. Like it's not even there.

✧ Cyno ✧

If you're comfy with it, he makes blind jokes. But he keeps them rare and mild. They always make you laugh out loud. In fact, you've found yourself making them too.

Cyno is there for you if you need anything. One time, you ended up losing your guide dog who got spooked by something. Cyno helped sit you down and even found your lil pup for you.

He's very patient too. He understands that you can't see the world like he can. So he's not about to rush you.

He spends a lot of time describing things for you. Sometimes, you wanna know what something looks like. You can feel it- figure out the general shape but the color and stuff, you won't know that. So he takes every moment he can to describe things in heavy, heavy detail.

✧ Tighnari ✧

Tighnari needed a moment to adjust to your disability. He's not judgmental but sometimes he'll move too fast. He'll say things like "can you grab that thing over there?" when you haven't ever been in the room before.

He's pretty apologetic for those days and works hard to help you with your situation. If you need assistance somewhere, he's at your side, if you need help with doing something, he's there, if you need a guide human, Tighnari at your service.

Tighnari cannot STAND it when people make remarks. Why? Yeah, you can't see- they don't need to half-ass whisper it to their friends. He gets really pissed sometimes. It's not even about them offending you, it's just needing to learn to shut their mouths when it needs to be shut.

You've had to grab his arm and pull him back at times. He's not violent, but he does like to scold people. You don't wanna cause a scene, but you'll usually find yourself getting an apology or two.

this is so random and literally not even relevant anymore, but I literally cannot get over the dumbass redesigns for the twilight book covers. like I am genuinely so confused from both a fan and marketing perspective. I don't understand how this slight tweaking (for the worse may I add) of the original covers does them any service? If anything, it probably just confuses people. there's nothing notable or interesting enough about them to attract new readers, and most veteran readers are probably not going to bother picking up the new editions when they're just fuglier versions of the originals...? I truly I do not understand. I need somebody with some graphic design or marketing background to explain to me why the hell someone at Little, Brown decided to crop and recenter the text on an enlarged photo and call it a new edition like I am still so baffled.

and truly the worst part to me is that they could have done something SO COOL. So many 2000s/2010s fantasy and/or YA book series have had cover upgrades in recent years that REALLY elevated them. in all fairness, I actually don't think the Twilight saga suffered the worst of the fugly YA cover syndrome of our collective youth, and so I understand why they might not feel like they NEED a more contemporary design, but if you're going to redesign them in the first place, AT LEAST do something a little more aesthetic?!? Like come ON, there were so many options. We could have had a minimalist color block look with subtle but sweet designs like a pine tree, a wolf, a truck even idk. Or we could have gone for one of those sweet little illustrated sketch-y designs, or just something totally different and new and cool. Like I've seen so many people online designing sick ass covers that would genuinely look fabulous on a shelf in a bookstore, so I really struggle to understand why professional graphic designers could not manage it ://

hoping that when/if we get this twilight adaptation, they might actually give a real attempt and design something new to usher in the new era. not looking forward to the potential tv show/movie tie-in covers tho lol.

Soul Eater characters and their MLP Gen 4 equivalents

i will be disregarding all ships and familial relationships for this purely because it would make it WAY too complicated and this is my silly little haha. i already put too much thought into it, i cannot burden my mind with the restraint of familial and romantic relations.

first up, the main 7 characters. starting with the one who inspired this all:

Maka as Twilight Sparkle

she's got the wings, she's got the book smart, she's got the power of friendship on her side, it's perfect. this was all started b/c while rewatching the anime, we joked that Maka's dubbed voice sounded like Twilight. this one is the strongest comparison, it gets worse from here.

Soul as Spike

no offense to Soul, but he's usually secondary to Maka most of the time. snarky, sassy, and often asking questions. also, his name is Spike, Soul's got spiky hair, it makes sense.

Black☆Star as Rainbow Dash

cocky, proud, super strong, fast, and blue!! a lot of their development revolves around like valuing other people (Black☆Star is more about like,,,, becoming his own person but y'know) also they both have scratchy voices.

Tsubaki as Fluttershy

calm and mild mannered, but also on occasion has the ability to go apeshit. befriends someone who is quite strong and obnoxious that most characters find annoying.

Death the Kid as Rarity

obsessive about appearances and has a particularly fancy way of talking. pale?? distinctive hair. makes sense.

Patty as Pinkie Pie

no explanation necessary.

Liz as Apple Jack

older sister figure! blonde and realistic, kinda tough and used to having to work for stuff (though Liz doesn't have to do it too much anymore now that she and patty are chilling w/ Kid) also, AJ was the only one left of the mane 6 lol.

Crona as Princess Luna

obviously the moon connection, duh. dark aesthetic, doesn't understand other people, and gets kinda possessed by madness!! which leads into my next choice

Kishin Asura as Nightmare Moon

evil!! but also because they were a bit misunderstood. spreads their powers across the entire world. possesses someone who is also part of them. lives on the moon.

Lord Death as Princess Celestia

tall and a god figure, but also kind of royalty? super OP but also we barely get to see them fight or use their powers ever so that our lovely main characters can be the ones to defeat the big bad. questionable morals at times.

Stein as Discord

crazy ass bitch!! tall and a slightly concerning amount of people simp for them. looks stitched together, stuff sticking out of their heads.

Marie as Princess Cadance

Ox as Snips

weird hair,,,,,,,,,,

Harvar as Snails

tall?? Harvar's a spear so he's tall by default. he's also gold-ish when he's in weapon form so that counts, also pointy b/c unicorn and spear.

Jackie as Octavia

Jackie has to be Octavia b/c her name is based off of cellist Jacqueline du Pré and even though Jackie doesn't play cello, this is who she must be to fulfill her destiny. also, they both have dark hair.

Kim as DJ Pon 3 (Vinyl Scratch)

gay. unicorn, so she has magic like a witch

Kilik and the Pots as the Cutie Mark Crusaders

there's three of them and they are inseparable. do not separate them. Kilik can be Sweetie Belle b/c he's standing in the middle.

Sid as Big Mac

man of few words. super strong and ,,,,,,, angular?? idk they're both kinda blocky. sad eyes,,,,,,,, UNDERRATED.

Naigus as Zecora

doctor!!! also if i was a pony, i would have a crush on Zecora. i have a crush on Naigus. this is my reasoning.

Medusa as Chrysalis

evil. weird and confusing hair!! dark aesthetic with one accent color. insanely manipulative, undeniably slaying.

Arachne as The Storm King

this one comes as a suggestion from Tumblr mutual (and my literal current college suite mate) @xaltiide she says that this guy is "the big bad" but isn't doing Most of the bad stuff in comparison to the other villains.

and finally, my grand finale

Giriko and Justin as Flim and Flam

they suck!!!! they suck SO BAD!!!!!!!! and they're evil. HORRIBLE.

anyways, happy April fools everyone. i finished the last half of this post while an edible kicked in on a Friday night and i feel like that probably shows in what i have created, but i will stand by this.
