Question: How much of Sailor Moon have I seen?

Facts:

One summer my memaw bought three shows at goodwill: Sailor Moon, the Hercules tv show, and Emperors New School. I watched all three obsessively.

I have DID

Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars were both in episodes

It was the dub

my ability to 'recognize' parts of the show can not be trusted.

Dubious facts:

All three were on VHS

there was only ONE VHS of Sailor Moon, it was not the first one.

Sailor Jupiter was not present.

I saw the ep with Selena/Usagi in the white dress. Yes, it did fundamentally change me.

New information:

The VHS english dub for Sailor Moon has four eps each. They also seem to be missing eps? To see both Sailor Mercury and Mars I would had to have at least #2. But the White dress ep is on #4? I really really don't think I had more than one. But I guess it's possible?

As I'm writing this I'm remembering more about my feelings about the white dress ep.

There was a DVD of the entire first season of dubbed Sailor Moon available at the time.

The Hercules show was actually a movie, Hercules: Zero to Hero, which is four episodes they spliced together with some clips and released to VHS. It was still really obviously from episodes.

There is no record that I can find of Emperor's New School having been released to VHS or DVD

Possibilities:

I just had #2 and watched the white dress episode somewhere else, randomly, later, with no context.

I had the DVD and not the VHS

It was a bootleg version of Emperor's New School that got donated (what are the ODDS Jesus Christ)

I've never seen the white dress ep and the intense feelings (I'm being vague so I know what this sounds like but i had so much trauma) I have are completely made up from just accidentally seeing a few screen caps while looking for the og VHS.

I only had #4?

I had multiple VHS's of Sailor Moon (unlikely. but possible)

Conclusion:

I had seen at least four eps of Sailor Moon before starting to watch it yesterday.

I'm gonna pretty confidently say that I have seen the white dress ep.

Emperor New School... Exists? and I've seen a few episodes.

WAKFU REDESIGN AND REWRITE SERIES PART 2

Okay I really should've started with Yugo but I just had so many ideas for Eva I had to let it out. (link to part 1 here)

And with Yugo, I have the exact opposite feelings, because... he's fine. He's the main character, he's a kid, he acts like a kid, he's very thoughtful and kind... I don't have any issues with his character.

But! Theres still ideas i have!

For example, I never quite liked the idea of Yugo being the Eliatrope king and yeah, I know hes a child but he never really... gave me leader vibes, yk? Tbh compared to Adamaï he severely lacks the assertive personality. After finding out that hes the last airbender Eliatrope, he doesnt even care for the culture much. Or like- at all? Hes mostly excited about his superpowers- AND THATS FINE, hes a literal child, but still... a supposed king.

So either make him more invested in his people (you could make a whole arc outta that! He gets hyperfixated on figuring his heritage out he forgets about the here and now - tho that really does sound more like Adamaï) OR make him state outloud that he already has a life and doesnt want to start another one! He likes his friends and adventures and doesnt need anything else... until he does. Make him grow and find parts of himself he didnt even know were missing. New values, a culture he can be a part of!

(Also AU where Yugo actually cant use his powers properly so they only inconvenience him (like accidentally teleporting his stuff) and he tries to stay away from his heritage as long as possible until Grougal is just forced to drag him out the house is so entertaining 2 me istg)

So im fine with the story Qilby has spun, where he and Shinonome are the leaders cause HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE?? And anyway, the Adventure duo finding out about Qilbys betrayal through random goofy shenanigans seems pretty in character lmao

Design

I like Yugos design (except for the shoes, they absolutely haunt me) so I mostly just put my own spin on it rather than changing it radically. I briefly debated on giving him a tail or more dragon-like features but then I realized he lived a normal life before all this lol the village would PROLLY NOTICE

Tho it finally hit me that Eliatropes cleatly have deer features- like the little fur thingy at the end of the Eliatrope cap resembling a deer tail??? How did I not notice that??? But I think his s4 outfit resembles a bat way more so idk?

I gave him white freckles like the bambi spots and light blue "wakfu" spots on the back instead of the runes on his chest he has in the Qilby final boss fight. Also I couldnt decide which outfit I like more for s1-2 so which one do u guys like more?

I havent watched season 3-4 but I did a potential s3 Yugo look as well, I had fun :))

great callback to chise summoning those wasps in arc 1. i enjoy seeing a scene from the early chapters reimagined in the modern art style. tangent, but in the supplements the note for that scene was something like "chise has never seen this kind of bug in real life so she probably remembered it from a nature documentary"

so overall i cant say that lindel and adolf are my fav characters or that i am terribly invested in them so i dont feel i got a TON out of this chapter but i am excited with the last page we got. happy for the lindel enjoyers and the lore dump yall got. i guess im not sure what purpose this new dragon is serving either because its (probably) not related to red vs white dragon conflict. i guess you could say that its a third dragon that emphasizes the importance of choosing your own path rather than being locked in this fated cyclical battle the way the red and white dragons are, which would be in line with tambs greater themes. like a third choice, i guess. adolf is also shaping up to be in a similar position to chise - that is, he has a unique relationship with magic, and his master has to lie for him so he wont be unduly researched lol. i am interested to see how much time we will see chise actually studying or being in class considering all the other things shes now expected to be responsible for. her ass is not studying 💯💯💯

sorry i forgot to tell you guys about the wildest thing that happened at work this past week (besides the ea who is trying to??? idk??? hunt me for sport i guess??)

but someone dropped off their computer on tuesday for us to look at; they called in and told me that it just would not power on. asked what time we closed and how much we charged and what our turn around time was.

explained all of that and they were wary bc like, they didn't wanna leave it with us for long. which fine. said they'd try to "do stuff" and see if that would fix it.

brought in the computer, reiterated that it just would not turn on. so i took their info and the computer and payment. went over our turn around time again (this is v important) (its 3 to 5 business days btw)

so, after they leave, i open the computer to inspect it (for physical damage bc we have to make notes of that just in case) and uh 1) there's no screws in the bottom case of the laptop (call the cust and they say its bc they forgot to put them back in after opening it up. uh)

next thing i notice is that the computer is on. there are lights on the side lit up and the caps lock light comes on (a sign Windows has booted)

okay weird. so the scope is now, the screen doesn't display but the computer is on.

we plug it up the next day, to an external monitor and uh. it works fine. we remove the RAM to test that just in case (bc my coworker had called the customer to get the password, the customer mentioned that before the computer "died" they were getting memory errors.)

RAM is fine. cool. we do more testing on it. and the...display? doesn't exist??? there's no integrated monitor under the device manager.

at this point we've done about an hour and a half troubleshooting on it to try and figure out how we went from will not power on to doesn't display.

call the customer back and they are not. happy. with us? somehow? why haven't we fixed it? even tho i told this customer that if we find out its a hardware issue then we'll have to order new hardware.

they were adamant it wasn't a hardware issue. okay.

anyway. its now friday at this point and they call for another update and we're like. starting to lean towards it being the upper assembly (screen + casing) but like it doesn't make sense to us bc this computer is newish (under 2 years old) and there doesn't seem to be any physical damage to it. the screen shouldn't just go out and stop working. esp if there were no other signs besides the "memory errors".

the person ends up coming in to get the computer, we talk about a screen replacement and the customer is for it. cool. they're taking the computer with them until we can get the screen ordered which is fine. i get payment for the screen so we can order it, i let the customer know that we do have to tack on an additional charge to the hours because we've spent about an hour and a half cumulatively on this--customer is not happy about it but understands. gets a bit huffy about it. says that we should have figured it out sooner etc etc etc

and then. then like. the customer hits me with.

"oh hey, so my friend closed a pen in this computer right before it stopped working. right down here where the plastic case is. yeah. do you think that might have messed up the screen?"

i am absolutely flabbergasted by this and go "oh yeah it can definitely damage the cables there. the plastic isn't very thick. we didn't see any damage when we opened it up though" and this person just

"oh yeah my friend cleaned up the broken plastic bits before we brought it by"

OH OF COURSE. how silly of me.

i am. so tired lmao. like i dont know what this person expected of us but? tell us this info? the only info (even after asking all the questions) i got was "the computer stopped working today and it worked fine yesterday" and "i opened it up and performed an ec reset just in case"

anyway. the customer is vaguely annoyed they're having to pay more for us to find out what the issue is but in my defense YOU DIDNT TELL ME THAT A PEN WAS CLOSED IN IT.

To Be Abnormal for a second Every Frame A Painting If Jo Is In It right... an exquisite top pick... his attitude and body language are So Cunty when he's in control of a situation... he's just very fun to watch and the Context that the cap is part such a sequence and what comes before and after elevates it...

Plus the lighting and color grading in the office is very suited to Jo's design with the purple and pink undertones, and the general framing/negative space/value distribution in that particular shot is Just Good; the blinds also make for a nice backdrop and the way he casts this really soft shadow behind him does a lot to make him subtly stand out from the background... ALSO I love the detail of the blinds being Kind Of Fucked Up In Places like he put his hands on them with a little too much force at some point and [being dragged away to be institutionalized]

BUT YEAH NO I DELETED THE POST BUT I DEFINITELY. HAD SOME THOUGHTS. AS YOU CAN SEE.

It's not JUST that it's A Disservice To Mr. Tsutsumi it's that... as I was sort of talking about at the stream with young [i.e. eighties] Jo although I didn't elaborate... this and some other decisions age him so much. Like, when Tsutsumi was actually around that age, he looked like this. A Baby.

And I just think... NOT having that wide-eyed innocence isn't as fitting. It's like buying into Jo's Belief that he's all-grown-up when really he's still got the mentality and coping mechanisms of a child at fifteen and hangs onto a great deal of it well into adulthood... I think it was important to give him a face people'd instantly want to protect to place visual emphasis on the enormity of everything going on in Jo's monologue.

Would also apply to what you were talking about in the MineDai-AraSawa comparison ask, how Arakawa might feel extra-concerned for him because he's younger [I can't say much because my age gap with most of my friends is big anyway, but I frequently see my friends in their mid-twenties or later feel that way with their friends in their early-twenties]

Like it's THERE I just want it to be there visually... in a visual medium... in the ONLY visual medium where de-aging someone with 100% accuracy would be possible... is that so much to ask...

BUT BEHIND THE LORE REASONS™️ TO NERF TTM'S LIPS YEAH lowkey that's how ive forever chosen to interpret jo's flashbacks and why he seems so much older in them (Alongside with arakawa sounding older than he reasonably should at that point BUT ig you can make a case of The Yakuza Aging Someone idk not the main point). i think rgg just knew that if they kept ttm's natural lips i wasn't going to take sawashiro seriously for any longer than five seconds before being wholeheartedly distracted.. HOW TO DEFEAT THE DEPTHS KING GLEEOK: TLOZ TOTK (gameplay spoilers ahead, clothing collection mission)

prep

the gleeok den is just east of the drenen highlands chasm in the depths, in the north central portion of the map, beneath typhlo ruins.

you will need to prepare some gloom recovery recipes. additionally, bring a lot of arrows (at least 100). i would recommend leveling up your armor as well, at least to 2 stars. i also found good use of some haste potions. lastly, you should try to upgrade your stamina wheel, or maybe make some stamina restore potions.

having a couple fairies on hand is useful. and, obviously, bring some strong weapons.

the fight

. the gleeok will notice you as soon as you are in its line of sight, but will not notice you if you make noise where it cant see you (i tried whistling but it didnt hear me). begin the battle by catching its attention as it circles around the arena.

. as soon as the battle is initiated, the goal is to stun each head so that the gleeok falls to the ground. to do so, shoot directly into the eye of the head a couple times. to speed this up, you can attach something like boko fangs to your arrow so it does more damage. note: after a period of time, individual heads will recover-- you will need to take down all 3 in a relatively short span of time.

. each head will shoot a beam of its element at you. avoid these beams by running around the arena, and disable them by stunning the heads. if you can avoid taking damage in the first leg of the fight, you will have done a great job.

. after stunning each head, the gleeok will fall to the ground. take this chance to run up to it and beat the everloving shit out of its heads.

. after a few seconds of being stunned, the gleeok will stand and flap its wings to blow you back. to avoid this, sprint backwards before it can knock you off your feet. then it will begin shooting beams at you again.

. if you are fast, you can quickly stun one or two (or all three, idk) of the heads before it flies into the air again.

. at this point, the gleeok may start shooting balls of elemental magic at you. the most annoying one is the ice spell, which creates a cold fog that suddenly turns into large razor sharp ice snowflake. avoid these.

. repeat the process of stunning the heads and hitting the stunned gleeok.

. after its health bar is lowered significantly (maybe 1/3 or 1/4 remaining?) it will fly so high up in the air that your arrows cannot reach it and begin a new wave of attacks.

. the ice gleeok head will rain down a ton of icy spikes, and the thunder gleeok head will shoot down lightning strikes (there will be small colored indicators targeting the location these attacks will hit before they do, so stay frosty).

. after one of these lightning strikes hits the ground, a buffet of air will appear which can take you upward with your paraglider. float up, moving between air streams, and avoid the continually falling ice spikes as you do. glide toward the gleeok.

. IMO, you will want to take out the fire head first, as it can send a huge fireball at you and knock you right out of the sky. again, you will want to attach extra damage items to your arrows or use some stamina elixirs so that you can stun all 3 heads before you fall out of the air. correction: you NEED to stun all 3 heads before you fall.

. once stunned, the gleeok will fall to the ground again. kill it, and then reap your rewards >:)

from the kill you will recieve a horn from each head, wings, guts, and the chest in the center of the room will become openable, holding a collectable clothing item: the cap of twilight!

SO yall met first when you were buying some soju and like idk beer or something (kids do not do this) for a party you’re hosting in your department and before checking out you see him just feet propped on the side of the cash register, him leaned back on his chair throwing a plastic toy ball thats supposed to be a stress reliever that you found out the store was also selling, it was a small store, not too much customers go there so he gets to laze around most of the time AND get paid!

so you saw him right, and he was just so in his world that he didnt notice you waiting at the counter, till you cleared your throat while putting the basket on the table

he nearly died, he said

he kinda lost balance while trying to lift his feet of the counter to scan ur things, like he fell backwards due to his haste but fortunately he hit a sturdy stand behind him, and slightly bonked his head, it wasnt too bad, you tipped over the counter to see if he was okay but before you could catch him defeated on the floor, he sprung up and with a pained smile he started spanning your things and giving you your reciept and all that

but while he was typing the amounts you noticed how he rubs the back of his head every now and then and you can’t help but feel bad

you went into a tiny thinking state as he scanned your items like you went: .>. hmmm…

and you had a tiny light bulb just flicker open in your head and you went to the back of the store, jisung was caught by surprise and he tried to ask where you were going but you just flew all the way to the back (LMAOOOO)

But he just stood there looking at the bottles and cans you wanted to buy ad he nearly choked, like the hell you prolly bought all their supply

And so he was kinda concerned and wanted to ask you about it when you get back, he wasn’t much of a drinker sometimes but he loves to party, when he has the adrenaline, i feel like yeah he would chug a months worth of alcohol or sum

But he generally doesn’t like it, idk he’s just kinda weird okay

You came back with a frozen ice cream it was those power cap ice creams, the ones in the bottles and you rip off the cap to eat it, yeah those, it was frozen SOLID and you added it in your pile of goodies, and he cluelessly scanned it and updated your receipt, you then payed him and then offered him the ice cream treat with a sweet smile (omg ily)

And he was about to ask about the heap of alcohol you were buying and you two kind of clashed two ideas together it went like

Jisung: hey uhm- oh-

You: here this is for you- oh what were you saying..?

Jisung: haha- i - uh nothing, you should have your ice cream back you paid for it,,,,

You: oh no i bought this for you! You hit your head pretty hard so it can act as an ice pack for now then eat it when its slightly melted!

Like idk he took one look at you before and was like “okay”

He started sulking for a few days because he thought you guys wouldn’t meet again, and gah dang that’s true

LMAO you guys didn’t meet till like idk a few months later, it was nearing the end of the college semester, turns out you study right at his university!!

He took up literature, don’t ask why, he just LOVES writing about whatever goes in his head, he doesn’t think he’s that good at anything and that sucks bc he’s like everything but yk

So yeah and he just wants a little of everything, he took up literature also because weirdly enough, he likes to read, like his personality is so off and u wouldn’t think he likes reading but he enjoys reading books sometimes like with fantasy and Greek mythology and all that shiz

And that’s incredible,, so yeah he helps writing lyrics for Chan!!! His senior!!! And his first best friend!!! (Fun fact jisung was Chan’s first “stray kid” btw *cries*) so yeah a team! And he learned rapping from his best bud changbin, he actually met changbin because he bumped into a rlly buff dude in Chan’s studio and yeah they met, he looks up to them so even if he bullies them but jisung says and i quote “i bully you guys lovingly!”

Actually bestie jisung met you again when y’all were abt to graduate like it was a month or two till he graduates and you about to start your degree!!! You took up law and that’s so cool because he saw you in a heap of books in the library and he was there being all cool or with saying “he’s gonna study like a mad pro” since he had like 10 books in hand and then he saw you and he was like “wow that’s a shiz ton of books, lemme go there” and he went there,

You were so messed up behind those walls of books like you were crying, eating, reading, writing, ironing, fencing, driving behind those books

You had your 3rd warning awhile ago and one last warning you’re going to be reading books on the street, but anyway so yeah that happened and you recognized him like an hour later when y’all brushed it off and studied then you turned to him and went “YO-“ but slapped your own hand on your mouth bc yeah

And he got freaked out a little but giggled silently, and it was clear you weren’t in ur head then so he brushed it off

And so he was going to leave because he has another part time job in a few hours and so he asked to borrow your pen and you were hesitant bc that pen was your savior this whole year and he nodded happily at you like he wasn’t even threaten and shiz and you eventually gave it to him, he wrote sum and slipped it towards you before quickly getting his things and leaving

You read the note and then nearly cried

In exchange for an ice cream “hang out”

You were gonna cry bc his note was so nice but you also wanted to cry bc bro he took your pen

And he didn’t place what his department is or what he’s even taking up, and you panicked abt it later on, like you nearly punched a window

So you were in your room, it was 8 pm and you just had your dinner, was fine till you were preparing early for your “hang out” and you checked where the venue is and your eyes popped out, it wasn’t stated and you were about to cry again

Well not really cry more like scream, then your bestie room mate was like “can you shut up omg” and you were explaining to them your crisis and they went ._.”oh he’s actually from the lit. Department” and you went: “w-“ like you didn’t expect that and they went “yeah i know shocking..” and y’all just sat there for a moment of revelation HJEAHFIDFHI BYE NO BUT THEN YOUR ROOMMATE THEN STARTED TEASING YOU FOR THE NOTE AND TOLD YOU TO GO GET YOUR PEN THATS RIGHT NOT “GO GET YOUR MANS” ITS “GO GET YOUR PEN”

Then yeah you were there at his department and it was like 11:40 and you thought of just walking to the bookstore and get you another pen and go home and just stop hoping for him to show up, then someone approached you looking like a dead person, Chan came your way lol, he was tired and Jisung spam called him to tell you he was late bc he fell asleep and you nearly kicked Chan in the face bc he looked like a ghost with a black hoodie on and it was dark so it looked like some floating head or something idk

And after a while of telling you to calm the hell down he told you jisung fell asleep and that he was rushing here right now and you nodded and apologized to Chan for your misunderstanding awhile ago, and then when Chan brushed it off and left for his dorm Jisung was speed running to you and collapsed on the floor, like he was out of breath and just dead from running like a few blocks to his building, he lives in the dorm farthest from his building since he signed up late for getting dorm rooms bc his parents kicked him out and told him they refused to have a giant baby in their home

So yeah, but he stood back up after a while and smiled at you with the biggest smile he could give you right now, and you two couldn’t help but laugh at literally everything you guys went through, and during the ice cream hang out you guys started warming up to each other and it was great, you guys were rlly close and he bluffed how he didn’t have your pen

But as he was dropping you off at your dorm he shoved the pen into your hoodie pocket and then said a quick goodbye and ran for his dorm

And you being clueless as hell, tried to tell him to be safe and goodbye he left already so you were left there with the pen in your pocket

There was another note and it said “hey! Wanna go out on another ice cream date?” And you just smiled so hard that night you didn’t regret giving him your pen back in the library.

Dhjkhkjd did you see what jisung did there?????? He said awhile ago “ice cream hangout” but now he said date and then he said again so he kinda considered this a date </3

As the law student u are, you caught up onto that but you didn’t wanna overthink so you just face planted into ur bed, screamed then flail your limbs all around

You just had so much fun and it was so nice to be with him, like you were glad you chose To go to the date than slave away reading a bunch of manuscripts and stuff

Soon y’all started DAtINgGGgGg and he asked you out with the same ice cream you bought him but he kinda dramatically proposed with the cap of the ice cream since it had a loop, and that was a moment you’ll never forget

And I don’t think you’ll ever forget any moment with him

He would always sneak into your dorm room at night so you keep your window unlocked at times, and he comes with snacks and an extra big jacket on for cuddles and to give you the love you need for the day </3

He eventually realized he wanted to be with you instead of just slaving about in a part time job he decided to accept his professors’ invitation to get into graduate school or to get a degree or something, so he ended up studying in the same univ as you again for a few more years. Believe it or not he’s actually a star student in his department, he loves writing and his ideas just overflow him sometimes and he puts it on paper so it ends up being cool and admirable

And whenever you lose words in your essay reports, he gotchu, he tells u all these other words you can use and you just admire him like you two studying on the dining table and he just looks at you like “what?”and you’re like “omg you’re so—��- amazing..,,,,,,,,,” HKJJFHADFH

You guys eventually bought a house together to live in together!!!!!!!! While studying together you rlly found it an inconvenience when you’re far away and you’re both so tired sometimes you just want each other to be there to hug and cuddle and shiz

He always just drags you away from your work bc you’re going to short circuit and blow up, and you being mad is the last thing he wants to see before dying

And you appreciate that sm bc bro no one likes the feeling of being burnt out, and sometimes you’re so stubborn he would pull your chair out and just pick you up

So some days if Jisung is a little tired, he usually just helps you out and gives you suggestions, sometimes even calling chan to help since his s/o likes cooking (yes this is in the same universe guys shocking) AND YEAH BUt sometimes chan gives poor descriptions on the tips and you guys accidentally add too much baking powder and just messing up your pancakes 💔

But it’s always fun and games while you two cook ! Like you guys LOVE to just tease each other during those times, hug each other randomly, throw a bunch of ingredients at each other or even just bantering (in a playful manner) how to cook eggs at the right temp.

AND THATS ALL THAT MATTERS TO YOU GUYS JUST FUN AND BEING ABLE TO HANG OUT WITH EACH OTHER </3

Like the time you two messed up the pancakes you guys just made a disgusted face after the second bite then looked at each other and laughed together about all the mess you made and then your food wasn’t even good

BEST BOY EVERYONE SAY IT WIT ME NOW, FELIX BEST BOY

He took up an architecture course and he’s starting his first year (wooo!!! You’re doing great sweetie) and you as a pre-med student who is also about to start your course, you both end up bumping into each other, he actually like fell on you or something like he was riding his bike to school but weirdly enough someone decide to get in the way and he had to swerve and he kinda lost balance and boom you were also there and he fell onto you.

So he wasn’t hurt so much, but you were tho, you had a few scratches and a wound on your elbow, your knee was slightly scraped but luckily it didn’t bleed, you were in iMMEnSE pAin, there was literally a wound on your elbow, prolly had some tiny rocks= in it or something and the pavement was BURnIng HOT

And when he stood up he helped you up ofc and he did his best to apologize to you a bunch of times while listening to his apologies and explanation you just dusted yourself off and smiled at him before reassuring him it was fine, he offered to walk you to the clinic or something and he wouldn’t budge when you tried to say no

So he walked you to the clinic

Let’s just say you were glad it was still early and eventually you reached the clinic (WOOOOO GO Y/N AND FELIX) and the nurse looked at you and was like “dang with happened to you its so early the hell” and while the nurse was getting the ointment and shiz and the nurse told you guys to sit down after Felix explained what happened

Your brain replayed everything that happened in the span of like idk an hour and you just glanced at the boy next to you and you can’t help but giggle softly and he looks at you with a confused face, and you thanked him for at least trying his best to get you here and all yk even if he broke your skin

And he was like waving his hands in a X formation while saying its fine and that its the best he could do to make it up to you and you thought he was rlly cute <3 aside from his voice which was extremely low for his face, you found that intriguing about him and the freckles on his face was definitely one of the highlights of your day

And as soon as the nurse came back you two weren’t as tense and awkward anymore, maybe you two just wanted to get that off your chests and yeaHHHH after the nurse got you working and patched up you offered to walk him to his lecture hall but you didn’t know where it was and you only realized that when he asked if you knew where it was

And you just went ._. ,,,,,, and just stared at the schedule he showed you JDKFJKDJFHKADJFH PLS YOU TWO ARE SO DORKY IM GONNA CRY </3 and so he started chuckling at your expression which clearly showed you weren’t an architecture student obv and he didn’t mind going around the campus later to find his lecture halls, you joined him in laughing as well and soon enough you two sorta realized like “hey they aren’t so bad after all” and Felix went “well.. since we are both new,,,,,, what department are you in,,,,,,,,,?” Kids i want you to know that it must’ve prolly been like asking for their numbers but it rlly isn’t like that, you two are just a lil shy and hesitant that’s why.

And you went “,,,,,,,I’m just some pre-med student,,,,,nothing special,,,,,” and he went >:O WYM MAN THATS COOL kinda vibe like he always admired people that voluntarily chose to help others, he always wanted to do that, that’s why he’s being an architect he wants to build houses and shiz for the better of everyone and everything if possible.

So yEAh anywaY and you just said that being a doctor was always your dream as a kid so that’s why you’re here right now and he went ‘ :o … omg rlly? That’s so COOL! My dream as a kid was to be a vet actually,,,,,,” like he just started talking about his childhood dream and you just </3 softened like this guy with the deepest voice that broke the ground has such a sweet personality and has the most BEAUTIFUL SOUL

So YEAH that happened and you guys were rlly bummed out by the thought of it and the realization that you guys might never meet again with all your mixed up schedules and all, its like a 0.3% chance you’ll bump into each other again, like its impossible

So you guys met again at a party in one of the architecture students’ dorms, someone rumored their dorms are so big and spacious it might as well consider as a house that’s why they throw the most parties out of all the students in the univ. and when you entered the place omg it was blinding like you coulda sworn someone swung their bootie in your face like they were so into the party you wanted to leave already JKDBJKSDJKDSJK LMADOADO

But turNS oUT the student WHo tHREW tHE pArTy was FELix’s RooMaTE, and of ALL THE ODDS, you’ve been to countless parties but the first party thrown by an architecture student happened to be felix’s roomie, now if that ain’t the 0.3% in the gigantic campus in Harvard or sum shiz with university you guys are in.

And sooooo you were actually just holding a red cup and just going from a bunch of games to dancing a bit to just standing in the corner

You didn’t like to drink and you think you’ve had enough from losing a few rounds in beer pong but you won majority of the games there so you didn’t have to drink as much

And eventually you just stood in the corner-ish near the food and drinks table, you actually didn’t like to party as much, your friends do tho and they always convince you to go so here you are, and somehow the blonde dude beside you was asking if he could reach over to get some drinks since you were kinda blocking the way, and you apologized till you recognized the voice, he had longer hair so it kinda covered his face, but when he stood up straight after getting the drinks you guys like- had eye contact and you realized the Felix before with brown hair suddenly had blonde and it was longer now and his voice somehow got a little deeper

And you two jut stood there in shock while some one was like screaming their heads off in the background, and Felix’s friend wobbled over and slung a arm around his shoulder and slurred his question on why Felix was taking so long, so that broke off your eye contact and all, Felix like diverted his friend to turn to thee other side and told him that he got the drinks anyway for his group, you averted your eyes but you could have sworn you caught a glimpse of Felix glancing back at you

So Felix eventually caught your attention when he was glancing at you from over his shoulder and then he quickly pointed to the front door at the exact moment his friend nearly tipped forward, Felix hooked his hand over his friend as he did so, smooth move there

And you nodded your head subtly before making your way to your friend to tell them that you just needed some fresh air and handed them your cup, they ended up chugging what was left in your cup, you couldn’t careless anyway. SO you went out the front door right, avoiding all the people and then you just waited outside in the hallway for about 30 mins and then he popped out with a little grin

so there was actually this time you guys met together on christmas like it wasnt really what you two wanted but yk your families decided to celebrate it together, and it was a whole party with all the random relatives together and the little baby cousins running everywhere

you and Jeongin were part of the major deputies in guarding the baby cousins like you two had to sit near or in the playpen of the kids ALL NIGHT LONG, and you couldnt even greet each other since at least one kid would randomly try to eat a metal toy car

then one of the older cousins took over the duty for a bit so you two could breathe and like get out of the crusty playpen, and you two had like no like friends or like you guys weren’t exactly close with your other cousins sooo you two ended up just chatting outside the house on the porch with your hot chocolates </3

and you know that myth or like belief that the person you’re with when the first snowfall happens like you two are meant to stay in each other’s lives for a long time or something

more renga headcanons bc i miss them

- rekis not one to like. hide his praise or anything he compliments langa a lot but just. every so often he'll grab langas wrist and look at him all soft and say "youre amazing langa" very reminiscent of how langa praises him and it just makes langa feel so fucking mushy and in love

- rekis used to affection from his family but thats kinda it and langas family was never super affectionate but he felt loved still but after his dad died he just felt super lonely but when they meet and start getting super close they both just feel like theyre overflowing with love both given and received and i just thinks that beautiful

- rekis chronically bad at opening bottles bc they hurt his hands and hes always embarrassed but he goes up to langa and is like. open please. and langa does KKFMSMFND

- it gets to the point he'll just go up to him with a bottle and langa will open it without being prompted

There was no hope of Stephen coming back. Every truth you had to face was harsher than the last. Even when you got home and realized that Wong was among the vanished...and he didn’t fix the stairwell.

Maybe the stairwell was a good thing. It gave you something to focus on in these hard times. Sure, it’d been a month since the incident, but that still wasn’t enough time for the world to heal. That meant that contractors were hard to come by. But the roof would have a tarp over it for some time. No way you’d deal with that.

So you took a trip to the hardware store, you stocked up on wood and nails, lacquer and wood stain. Anything else you needed for the project. Anything to keep you busy.

There were so many sleepless nights. You hated being alone in Sanctum, hated being alone in your bed. Every so often you would nap on the couch, but then you’d get right back to work. Weeks on end you spent on the stairwell. How long will you stick around while I talk about the stairwell?

Doctor Banner called you from time to time. His voicemails were kind, heartfelt, but you couldn’t stop now. The gutted stairwell from a couple weeks ago was coming by very nicely. As nice as it could when worked on my an amateur. Alright, it looked awful, but you couldn’t stand using a ladder to get to the second floor.

As you were staining the wood, you played a message from Bruce:

“Doctor L/N, it’s Bruce. I hope you’re doing alright, but you know that if you’re not, I’m here for you. All the remaining Avengers have kind of...gone their separate ways for the most part, they’re pretty broken up about everything. I just want you to know that because you don’t...have to be strong right now. I understand if you can’t be. Just call me back whenever you can? I want to make sure you’re alright. We’re survivors, we should stick together.”

Bruce hadn’t known you long, but he was still a great person and friend. You should call him back, but if you lost focus, you may lose yourself. So you continued to wipe against the grain of the fresh stairs and moved to the next step. And the next. And the next.

The last step was the lacquer and seal. You were scared to finish up. What would you occupy yourself with once this was over? You thought about the answer until the very last step and admired your shabby craftsmanship. It’ll do. Or maybe you should tear it all down and start over? While you were thinking over your newest thought, your phone rang again. Bruce Banner.

“Hey, Bruce.” You answered the phone as you normally would and sat on the floor in front of your work.

“Y/N?” Bruce asked in disbelief. “Y/N, hey! How are you? I don’t know if you’ve been getting my calls..?”

“I have.” You quickly replied.

“Oh.” He quietly nodded to himself.

“I’m sorry, Bruce.” You realized your mistake and knew you may have come off as a little rude. He’d been nothing but kind to you, but you’d just realized you were alone today.

“No, no! It’s okay! I understand, don’t worry. What have you been up to?” His effort to start a conversation may be successful this time around.

“I fixed the stairwell. All of it. That’s what I’ve been doing the past few weeks. I just finished a few minutes ago.” You felt awkward talking to him. Not because of him, not at all. Just because you hadn’t really had any human contact in a while.

“I didn’t take you for a carpenter, Doctor.” Bruce was genuinely surprised with your skillset, you could hear it in his voice.

“And you still won’t once you see the job I did.” You actually managed to let out a chuckle. You didn’t know you could still do that.

“Oh, I hear ya loud and clear.” Bruce laughed, too. I wonder if he was having the same thoughts as you. “Y/N, do you want to go out to lunch like, now? I could use some company, maybe you could, too.”

“Yeah,” you checked the time on your watch, Stephen’s watch, and realized you worked through the night and day, “text me an address, I’ll meet you anywhere. See you soon.” You hung up pretty quickly, only to get ready ASAP. You were sort of covered in “stair supplies” and smelled like...not good. You’d take a quick shower, put on some clean clothes, and take off. Unfortunately, the stairs weren’t dry, so it was another round up the ladder.

You finally took a trip back to your bedroom and shuffled through the closet filled with your...late husband’s clothing. It still smelled like him, surprisingly. You wondered just how long it would last. You hoped it’d be forever, but you grabbed your own clothes and quickly got dressed, then checked your phone to see that Bruce was running “a little late.” It’s okay, you were, too.

You took a seat on Stephen’s side of the bed and decided to snoop. Did it count as snooping if he was no longer here? You knew that he didn’t keep secrets from you, so what was the worst you could stumble upon? Books, books, and more books. But some were important books, ones detailing mystic arts. Maybe...maybe it was time to pick up a new skill. You stuffed the book in your bag and decided to head out now before you got too comfy in an actual bed.

You and Bruce sat at a booth in the empty diner, awkwardly gazing over the menu while trying to stir up some conversation. It’d been a while since either of you had visited someone, you didn’t even know what to talk about.

“So, home renovations, huh?” Bruce asked while peaking over the fold of the laminated list.

“Something like that.” You sighed and set yours down and aside. “I know what I’m getting. What about you?”

“I just need a minute.” The only noise besides your bland conversation was the rustling of dishes in the back, which didn’t last for long. “Got it. A burger. That’ll do it.” Bruce announced and got the attention of the waiter.

Ordering took a second, but soon you and Bruce were alone again and ready to talk.

“How are the other Avengers? I know you said they went their separate ways, but...” You inquired and were surprised to see a smile crack on Bruce’s face. “What?”

“At least I know you listened to my voicemails.” He chuckled and took a sip of his iced tea. “They’re dealing with it. I don’t exactly know how. Nat’s staying at the compound, I’m sure she’s glad to have a home again. Cap went out on his own. Thor went back to his people. Tony and Pepper are trying to separate themselves from the world, I think. I don’t blame them. That’s all I know.” You stayed silent, but nodded along to his outer thoughts. “You alright?”

“I’m sorry, Bruce.” You started. “I didn’t mean to ignore you, leave you hanging. I just still don’t know how to take this. I keep thinking about what Stark told me when he came back. His whole ‘this will all make sense soon’ thing. Nothing about this makes sense to me.”

“Well, Strange was different, wasn’t he? He had that Stone, he had those powers, he might know something we don’t.” Bruce explained to you, an attempt to comfort you. “We’ve tried everything, y/n. Maybe it’s time to wait, maybe in time you’ll see that he sacrificed himself...for you.” You teared up at the scientist’s words and quickly wiped your eyes as the food was placed before you. “Thank you, sir.” Bruce said as the waiter walked off. “Hey, y/n? It’s okay that you’re hurting. I get it. But please don’t act like you’re alone. I’m gonna be here for you, okay?”

“Yeah,” you sniffled while hiding your wet eyes, “Me, too, Bruce.”

When you got stressed out when you were younger, you threw yourself into your studies. Maybe that was why you were such an accomplished scientist. But what studies did you have now?

You had a library full of knowledge. It wasn’t your usual knowledge, but it would suffice. Now, the book that you’d snagged from Stephen’s bedside was a bit advanced for you, but that was okay. You had options.

Where would you even begin? This place was bigger than you remembered. Was this another spell? Did you know what you were talking about? Stop thinking, y/n. Start reading.

You picked out a book. You just ran with it. You recalled stories from Stephen. You remembered you needed the ring. What did he call it? Song ring? Sink ring? Slink ring?

Sling ring.

Not a problem, you could find one. Sanctum probably had tons. Maybe in Stephen’s study? You wished you had asked him more about his arts before, you just didn’t get it at the time.

One was stashed in a drawer. It was Stephen’s ring. The one he used himself. And it was the only one you could find, so it’d have to do. And so you got to studying.

The first time the air sparked by your hand was magical. Literally. But it made you feel something for the first time in nearly three months. And that was just the beginning. It felt like you were carrying on Stephen’s legacy in a way. You’d never be “Sorcerer Supreme,” but you didn’t have any intention of that. You just wanted his memory to live on, even if it were through you.

So you’d practice and you’d learn and you’d practice and you’d learn. You’d see Bruce whenever you could, and he soon noticed your mood change.

“I’m glad to see you happy for a change.” He told you while you walked through the park.

“Yeah, it feels great.” You told him while watching construction vehicles cleaning up the debris that had been lying around for months.

“I’ve been meaning to ask. What’s with the ring?” He looked at your hand and you lifted it closer.

“Oh...it’s Stephen’s.” You simply stated.

“Is it like a wedding ring?” He took a closer look and let you laugh it up for a quick second.

“No, no!” You shook your head at the ridiculous question. “I might as well show you. I haven’t told anyone yet, but that’s because you’re the only person I talk to.” You stopped in your tracks and shooed him back to give yourself enough space. “Ready?” Bruce looked terrified, but nodded a response and watched you raise your hands ahead, concentrating on the small portal you had began to open. Bruce recognized the opening since he’d fallen through it before.

“You’re one of the sorcerers?” Bruce’s eyes widened. “Why didn’t you ever tell me?”

“I just started learning!” You exclaimed with a bright smile. “I needed something to get me through this all...and I wanted to protect Sanctum like Stephen and Wong had always stressed doing.”

“That’s...amazing, y/n. Self-taught magic? By a scientist, no less. Look at you go!” Bruce had a knack for being supportive. You were glad that he crashed through your roof and into your stairs.

“Thanks, Bruce. Maybe in time I’ll be able to cast a spell that fixes my roof.” You shrugged.

“Oh? Come on! I said I was sorry!”

And then five years went by. Flew by, actually. You’d become a skilled sorcerer and used your skills around Sanctum. There wasn’t much to do here on Earth. It was a bit quiet.

Bruce was still a close friend of yours! You’d advised him in his quest for balance. He was no longer at war with himself.

The roof was fixed! You had Bruce spectate your very own spell to repair the damages he’d inflicted, but all was forgiven.

Then one normal day you got a call from him.

“Hey Bruce! How’s it going?” You answered, even though it interrupted your meditation.

“Can you meet me at the diner ASAP?” He sounded a little off, but still upbeat, so you opened a portal and stepped through to find yourself right out front. It was easy to spot him through the window, but there were others with him. Avengers.

“Hey, all.” You took a seat beside an unfamiliar one. “Hi, I’m y/n.” You told him as a plate of food was set in front of you.

“I ordered you your favorite. Hope you’re hungry.” Bruce smirked at you and let you get to it.

“So, it’s been a while, huh?” You asked the two Avengers across from you.

“It has.” Natasha sighed. “I wasn’t aware you were...also a sorcerer.” She began.

“I had a lot of free time.” Last they saw you, you weren’t as cool, calm, or collected. They were glad that you’d found peace. “I have a feeling this isn’t a social lunch.”

“I’m sorry to pull you from your calm, Doctor L/N—” You cut Steve off.

“Y/N is fine.” You replied.

“Scott here,” Steve motioned to the awkward man sitting alongside you, “was stuck in the Quantum Realm for some time, if you’re familiar. He thinks that there’s a way to...to undo what Thanos did.” You peered over at Bruce and watched him shrug as your heart started to beat faster and stomach started doing turns. You hated the thought of getting your hopes up, but you still dearly missed your husband.

“What can I do?”

You had a hand in opening the dozens of portals around the ruins of the Avengers Compound, but you weren’t the only one. Stephen, Wong, and hundreds of other sorcerers were assisting to bring an army to combat the troops of an outdated Thanos, and you were so close to Stephen.

Using your magic to create a pathway to the sky, you leaped from step to step to get a clear look of the battlefield. And to let Stephen see you. He did. And so did the cloak.

You’d never used your powers to fight, so you’d have to step it up out here. But you knew Stephen wouldn’t let you get hurt. And you believed that you could handle this yourself.

“Y/N!” Stephen called to you as he flew to your altitude and held you in a special embrace that you’d nearly forgotten the feeling of. “It’s so good to see you.”

“Are you kidding me, Stephen?” You chuckled through tears that you just couldn’t hold in, tears that dragged through the dirt and dust on your face, clearing small lines down your cheeks. “I have missed you every day since the moment you left. I am so glad to have you back.”

“I’m sorry I couldn’t say goodbye, y/n. I truly am. But I knew that you would manage without me. You always have.” He explained to you in such a heartfelt way, admiring your capability to still be standing in the air.

“You knew I’d become a sorcerer, didn’t you?” You cocked a brow and watched him smirk.

“I had an inkling.” He joked with you as the firefight below was still rampaging.

“It’s very unprofessional of you to be talking to your s/o during times of crisis like this.” You chuckled and broke your spell to fall back to the ground, stopping yourself before it was too late in what could only be described as a “superhero landing.” Now that you were on the ground, assistance was required for your own side of the battle.

You and your fellow sorcerers had to defend more than anything. Shields popped up across the battlefield in an effort to keep your people alive. There were too many close calls and you wanted to survive long enough to go home with your husband.

“Y/N, over here!” Stephen beckoned you to the flood that would have made this fight much harder, and you were delighted to defend alongside him. The cloak rushed to you and gave you a fast track to the edge of the water, you couldn’t help but that it for it’s kind service. “Ready?”

“Of course.” You lifted your palms and motioned towards that water, redirecting it and keeping it at bay for the time being. “I love you, Stephen.” You remembered to tell him.

“I love you, too, y/n.” He replied with his focus still on the flood. “And I’m proud of you. So very proud.”

“Couldn’t have done it with you.” You joked and stabilized the rushing waters, giving you a true load-off before the end was clear. Dust passed through the sunken hole you all stood inside. Dust of your enemies that had finally lost. You and Stephen stared at each other in disbelief, yet couldn’t help but run into each other’s arms. “This is real? We won?”

“In a way.”

Stephen and you dressed in all black were standing in the back yard of your savior. Tony had given his life to give others a life. You were just sorry that it had to be him.

Bruce stood alongside you with a long face and an injured arm. It was time for you to be there for him like he’d been there for you.

“Thanks for bringing back my husband, Bruce.” You whispered to him while holding Stephen’s hand tightly. Over the past few days, you just couldn’t seem to let go of him.

“Oh, yeah? That was nothing.” Bruce playfully answered through his sorrow.

“How’s your arm feeling?” You asked him, making sure the sling wasn’t twisted up an any way.

“Not the greatest, but I’ll be okay.” He assured you and watched as you leaned your head onto Stephen’s smile with a sense of relief. “I’m really happy for you, y/n...”

“But?” You raised an eyebrow with a hint of worry.

“But you better still hang out with me.” He smiled at you and you even heard a chuckle escape Stephen’s lips.

“You can count on it, Bruce.” You lifted a hand for a fist bump and collided your knuckles with his, even if they were a bit oversized.

“Shall we get going, dear?” Stephen asked you while he hooked his arm around yours and opened a portal home. You waved goodbye to Bruce and went on your way, stepping right into Sanctum as the way closed behind you.

“So you really meant it, huh?” You asked your husband while setting your belongings down.

“That I love what you’ve done with the place?” Stephen laughed at your oncoming smirk and walked forward, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you forward to kiss the top of your head. “Of course, dear.”

“Even the stairs?” You peeked your head up to look at your husband and watched his smile grow. You’d never bothered casting a spell to properly repair them. Maybe you were just too proud of your work. Maybe it was a reminder that you got through these five years on your own terms.

“I do.” He leaned down to kiss your lips. “It adds character to this place.”

“More character than the magic?” You prodded at him.

“I think you mean ‘sorcery.’” He corrected as you leaned into his chest and slightly swayed back and forth, taking in his presence for the 50th time since he’d come home.

“Oh, of course. Silly me.”

Let’s talk: Vlive Asks and comment/chat discussions

From @cottoncandykings​: Hello! As u probably know jimin just went live recently and again he mentioned mandaggo and discussing about doing it with tae. I just find it so weird though. I mean jimin keeps constantly mentioning it and its not like vminnies were begging or dying for a vmin live everyday even before jimin mentioned it last year. Even now most including myself dont really care that much ofc i m happy if they do one together. But the way jimin keeps mentioning it is so weird. Like surely if he wanted to do it so badly he could have talked to tae privately and arranged it by now. And if tae is the one that doesnt want to do it then idk why jimin is pushing it. But what was really weird to me this time was that he said there were lots of comments about mandaggo yesterday in zoom call and yet they didnt mention it yesterday but suddenly today without prompting he talks about it. I also hope no one spammed the zoom call chat or the vlive chat with requests for vmin live (i didnt see any) bcoz thats just unnecessary and demanding. I hope vminnies wont demand/ ask for another memeber when one of them is live. Its just disrespectful. This turned into a rant sorry. Do you think it was weird too?

Since Admin 2 can’t type their thoughts themselves, I’ll relay their thoughts to you instead, since they had more thoughts/opinions/ideas in regard to this than I do, to be honest.

Admin 2 is sure that there is a good chance that we will get a vmin vlive sometime soon, which I know contradicts their original opinion and post from a few months ago, but there’s a reason for it. During the zoom meeting between BTS and ARMY they noticed something I don’t think anyone else noticed, or at least neither of us has seen any vminnies mention it anywhere, which in conjunction with Jimin’s vlive today and saying how he’d talk to Tae about doing a mandaggo vlive again, as well as another observation a little while ago, leads them to this conclusion.

So, the observation from the zoom meeting. Basically at one point when the question of Jimin doing a vlive arose Tae looks at Jimin and then he nods while smiling which in turn makes Jimin smile as he turns away from Tae and back to face toward the camera before answering the question and saying how he’ll come visit us the next day. Which he did.

Then the other observation from a while ago, this one being from their OT7 vlive celebrating their BBH100 #1 on June 29th where at one point Jimin says something but slips into satoori after which Tae encourages him to say that again but this time in the Seoul accent, so the way they actually should speak, which Jimin says isn’t difficult but he doesn’t actually end up repeating what he said.

And lastly in today’s vlive Jimin mentioned how he’s using satoori quite often but that he isn’t all that good at doing it on command or at teaching it to others, which is something he’d have to do for mandaggo but I’m sure he’d manage just fine if the time came for it.

Based on that Admin 2′s thoughts are basically that Jimin really meant it when he said, last year, that he’ll bring Tae around for a vlive, that it wasn’t a joke or a way to tease us with something he knew he wouldn’t be able to deliver, but rather that up until this point they weren’t quite sure how to do it. Which sounds a bit odd, I know, but what they mean is that if vmin were to just sit down in front of the camera and were supposed to just talk based on what the chat would give them, it would likely just turn out awkward and weird and no one, including them, would really have fun. Even more so when we take into account how idiotic the chat is during regular vlives so now imagine if those two were to do one together that’s just a casual chat. It would likely end up in disaster and honestly I wouldn’t wish it upon them to read all those awful comments that they would likely get, even worse ones than they already get normally, to be honest.

But now that the whole satoori thing was brought up, and Jimin actually mentioned mandaggo and wanting to bring it back after so many years, Admin 2 thinks that they must’ve finally figured out a solution to their problem, if you can call it that. Doing mandaggo would basically mean they would have an activity, something to do similar to how they did those ASMR videos for the Japanese Fan Club which were fun and cute, and so Admin 2 thinks that perhaps chances are we will finally get the vlive we’ve waited for so long (though like many others I’ve long given up the idea).

Another confirmation is that during his vlive today Jimin basically said that he only came by for a little while since they are quite busy and had to soon get ready for work with the other members but that he’ll return in two or three weeks for a more proper, longer, vlive. So, he could’ve treated today’s vlive as the promised one but instead he saw it more as a bridging one between the zoom meeting and the proper vlive he wants to do, so is it the farfetched to think that he had proper plans for a vlive, like doing mandaggo, but it just wouldn’t have worked out time wise today so he moved the actual vlive he wanted to make to a later date?

One last thing (well two actually) that has nothing to do with this question but Admin 2 wanted me to include it anyway is that one, have you noticed how Tae and Jimin were both on weverse around 3 am (until almost 4am (also both of them posting a comment to some post at 03:41 am KST)) one after the other (though with one day of a break in between them) recently and then also two, that Jimin was up until like 6 am (since he posted on weverse around that time) on the 8th and then during the zoom meeting Tae answered a question by saying that he’d been awake until 6 am the previous day (also the 8th) since he wanted to see the sunrise? Which is also something an anon mentioned to us. Curious, isn’t it?

From anon: I request both admins to please post this ask. So jimin wwnt live today and one of the accounts on twt posted a screen cap of them commenting 'touch your hair if vmin is real' in the live chat and jimin's reaction to it. Now idk if it is an edit or real. No matter i just want to say its not ok to bring up ships in front of the members no matter which ship it is. We dont know the reality of their relationship so lets not make them uncomfortable. Its not a joke. Its not funny. Be respectful the members are real people.

(Admin 1 taking over from this point onward) This ask nicely ties into the last one that’ll be further down in this post since they cover a similar issue of sorts. But let’s start with this one asking about, essentially, vlive comments and the things fans ask/comment, which also ties in with the above ask as well.

The thing with the vlive chat, and especially comments/questions that are like anon said, questions or “commands/requests” about touch your hair if XYZ ship is real or cough twice if you love XYZ member or, likewise, comments such as where is XYZ member or what are the other members doing, unfortunately those have been a steady and unchanging part of the vlive chat since basically forever. It’s been an issue on and off with different intensities though I feel like it’s gotten worse again this year. Particularly if we look back at the vlive Tae did with Hobi and Yoongi and how essentially the entire chat was filled with comments related to Xkook and not much else.

If my memory doesn’t fail me we once even had a situation some years ago (2016) where the chat during Hobi’s vlive was so bad, as in so full of questions about that other members instead of him, that you could see he was upset about it and eventually he handed over the vlive to Jimin, whom the chat had requested Hobi to visit, and Hobi just left. And I can’t blame him for it since the chat must’ve made him feel like basically no one cared about him so what was even the point of him being there, right?

Personally I’ve long given up looking at the comments during vlive because they just make me cringe and feel bad for the members, especially when I think back to vlives such as Yoongi’s D2 one last year where he was so excited to talk about the songs and the process of making the mixtape and yet so many of the comments were just unrelated nonsense and annoying request like speak english or can you say my name or say hello in XYZ language. If it makes me question why the people posting those questions are in the chat, why they are fans to begin with, imagine what the members must feel like, how discouraging that must feel like. After all they are musicians and yet so rarely do they get questions about that. Or rather they do get them but they are just drowned out by nonsense. Which is a shame. And also very disrespectful but any attempts that were made to remind people to be respectful, to remember their place as fans, to focus on the member that’s doing the vlive instead of asking about the others, and to keep ships away from the members have failed because some don’t care and will continue to not care.

From anon: what are your opinions on the Qs that were asked during that zoom meeting thing between BTS and ARMY?

Now I’d like to preface my answer to this last question by saying that by no means do my grievances come from a place of jealousy or anything. I’m very happy for all the ARMYs that won their spot, that they got to participate in the event and that BTS got to see ARMYs again even if only on screens and not in person still. No, my issue stems from something completely different, and I don’t want to say that the system chose the wrong people, because that would be mean and also who even knows how the winners were chosen, if it was pure luck or there were some actual criteria that went into the process, but the fact is that only a select 200 ARMYs got that spot out of however many that applied, so basically for some this was a once in a lifetime chance, right, even just getting this close to asking Bangtan a question and have really great chances of having them give you an answer while acknowledging you somewhat instead of just seeing pure words on a screen, you know what I mean?

Now imagine you are one of those 200 ARMYs and you get the chance to fill the chat with questions along with the other 49 participants of your session and you decide that asking questions such as what it’s like for Jimin to work as angel, if Namjoon ever broke a bicycle, or why JK smells the crowns of the other members heads? Or even worse, you decide to ask about JKs shower routine and in which order he washes his body? And sure, the “fault” doesn’t fall completely on the ARMYs alone, after all it’s the members who read out those questions and not some magical off screen entity, and since I wasn’t part of the event I can’t say with a hundred percent certainty that no one asked any “proper” questions, but if those were the questions that ended up being read out loud, is it that hard to guess that likely all the questions looked similarly? 

Which brings me to my main grievance of it all: have you forgotten that you are fans of musicians and not reality TV stars or vloggers/influencers? I know there were likely no rules for what questions you could or couldn’t ask (except for probably ones that were 100% about shipping or far too personal), but really, you get to ask your favorite band a question, something you might never, ever get the chance to do again, and your first thought isn’t to ask about their music but instead about some unimportant nonsense like the angel question or if they differentiate between the clothes they wear at home and those they sleep in? Like sure the angel one was kinda funny, maybe, and Jimin handled it in a cute way, I applaud him for it, but was that really necessary?

I know someone asked JK about Decalcomania, as well as Tae about his mixtape, and Yoongi/Jimin about Tony Montana (season 2), but other than that were there any other questions about their music? Perhaps I’m overthinking things, maybe I’m exaggerating and maybe I’m the only one who sees an issue with this, but if I would’ve won a spot, I’d rather have asked something about their process when writing lyrics or creating beats or how they prepare when learning new choreographies, what it’s like to be on tour (though perhaps that would be a mean question seeing as tours aren’t really something that’ll continue being possible for a while still), you get the point.

It makes me wonder if it was just bad luck or if it had something to do with how old the participants were (I saw some being as young as fifteen), which isn’t to say that teens can’t ask smart questions because they definitely can just like adults can ask stupid ones as well, but somewhere something, in my opinion, just went weirdly. And maybe that was the point of it all, for the event to be casual, funny, lighthearted, but my question then is when is the time for music discussions? For fans to ask those types of questions that actually have something to do with the boys careers? When even journalists aren’t asking them proper questions, ARMYs aren’t either, so what is the point of it all then?

Then again, after the event concluded and Seokjin came onto vlive he seemed so happy and excited, so maybe they had fun (I mean they seemed to have fun) and didn’t mind at all that the questions were lighthearted and silly, maybe I’m the one making mountains out of molehills. I don’t know, but anon wanted to know my thoughts/opinions, and this is them. Once again, I don’t mean to be mean toward the ARMYs that got rightfully in, that won, and I don’t want to insult them for the questions they asked, perhaps I just expected/hoped for something a little different? And perhaps I’m the only one. I don’t know.
