its hard to see in the photo but she is *very* glittery so shes done and im not painting her bc itd be hell tryin to make sure the paint doesnt chip on any of the itty bitty little parts

you also cant really see bc my hands covering it but her tail is a cable :)

anyway i have *so* much sparkly grey clay that i dont know what to do with so i might be making more ball jointed dolls this week :3

playing cards update!!! ive got 8 done so far, which means im over halfway finished with spades :DD

i really like pascals card bc i think its silly, but theres a lot of blank space on the card so im not sure if i should change the pose :|

otherwise tho i think theyre coming along really nicely :D and im excited to finish this suit :DDDD

(also kinda unsure about the colors on gothel and eugene,,,, idk if theres like a better thing to color for the shadow side,,, bc theyre both pretty plain designs. i think i tried making eugene's vest orange and i really hated it, but i think i wanna save the colored in hair for raps and cass

(also i added pink so i redistributed the colors for some of the other suits, but i didnt put it in this one bc none of the characters really fit)

we did movie poster/book covers in my art class to practice composition so i expanded my sundrop hugo/moonstone varian au >:3

i trieddd to make it look similar to the show cuz i like the lineless style but im really bad at replicating art styles so it looks more storybook than paper animation

also i realized i recreated the issue i had with cass's design which is that she only has 1 main color that diverges from her normal color scheme, while rapunzel has 2 main colors that stay consistent throughout the seasons TwT

someone suggested "prismarina" as a name for my robotgirl doll and while i didnt go with that one it did remind me of a magical girl so

prismarina!!! i spent wayyy too long sewing that skirt haha :P for some reason my camera makes the ribbons look a lot more messy than they actually are but its ok :)

shes not posable like beep (the robotgirl) but i still think shes really cute :D

i guess its alright for a first try? but its like. pretty bad

(for the record my theriotype is a longhair dilute calico and i havent made a mask for that just cuz i dont have proper faux fur and i just. dont find the patterning as interesting as other animals :P)
