I made a post on Reddit titled "Hot take but I feel like many if not most Stolitz antis are either homophobic or just hypocrites" and I even had to clarify at the end that not all Stolitz antis are like that. Cue the replies harassing me, taking it as a personal attack on them and making baseless accusations about me. One of them even sarcastically said "Anyone who disagrees with me is wrong and bigoted" as a way to make fun of me. I never said anything remotely similar to that. I don't think they bothered to actually read past the title where I explained that Stolas and Blitzø meeting as children is compared to a bad fanfic when that never gets said about straight couples in media who met as children and that people who hate Stolitz for what it is now only tolerated it when it was just a running gag, as if they can't stand it when gay relationships are being taken seriously. I also mentioned that even non-homophobic Stolitz antis complain about how toxic it is and then turn around to ship Blitzker. (Blitzø x Striker)

I had a similar experience. It's so stupid because like, some of them aren't even subtle about it. Same for chaggie antis. I remember seeing a post talking about how much Charlie doesn't get enough dick, so she's unsatisfied and needs Alastor. Like... I'm sorry, what?

A lot of the arguments stolitz antis are literally inherently bigoted. Like how they want Stolas to be paired with Stella instead even though he's gay. And STILL hating him for "cheating" after The Circus even though he's a gay man being forced to marry an abusive woman? Idk, that's... a red flag 💀 The same people saying stolitz is one sided were the same ones saying that Stolas and Stella were in love not to long ago... sounds like heteronormativity...

Like, it's not that different from female characters who get hate while the same people shitting on her praise fictional men who are worse or do the same shit. There are clear double standards here. These people turn around and praise cishet media with very similar writing, characters and tropes as Helluva Boss. And not only that, but it's not even just about their relationship specifically. Like, I have a theory that the whole controversy about Stolas being an "abusive" father is because of the stereotype that queer people can't be good parents. And the whole "child and parent have conflict but make up in the end" trope happens in fiction all time (example: Danny Tanner, Jeff Morales, Doofenshmirtz, ect.) Weird how it only became abuse and neglect with Stolas and Via.

Some people are blantly saying they wanted stolitz to "stay a joke", and it feels obvious to me that a lot of them just like queer characters who are queer in a goofy "dark humor" way and not an actual character with queer struggles and/or queer relationships.

People who say "but I disagree and I'm not homophobic!" Be expecting you to give them a pat on the back or something, I swear 💀 Like... good for you? Thanks for not being a bigot? Do you want a reward?

What I don't think people understand is that if they're not homophobic, then the post isn't about them. The fact that they're getting so defensive about posts directed at no one in particular is just weird because it looks worse than it would be if they just kept scrolling. Now it just kind of seems like Freudian Slip.

Ch 108 spoilers + discussion of DV

I said it before that I think it would be funnier of Donovan went to therapy, but I still think Melinda going might have the same impact on Twilight.

It would pose a very personal challenge to Twilight beyond his fake family. It's a case of domestic abuse something he actually experienced growing. It was confirmed that he was at least 10 when his parents died which means he was far more aware and in tune with what was going on his family.

I think he would be put in a weird position

a) use the information he gets from Melinda to take Donovan down but also put a clear victim in the middle of it and possibly make the whole situation a lot worse

b) stay quiet and prolong the mission until she is able to get safe assume she even thinks she's in danger in the first place

This gets tricky when you consider how people perceive abuse vs. how it actually is. It's easy to think all Twilight has to do it tell Melinda "Hey let's work together to take down Donovan" and i wouldn't be surprised in that is what will happen but realistically it would be a lot harder than that.

Abuser don't just hurt their victims. They convince them that they deserve whatever pain comes their way. They are at fault for everything bad that happens to them. In other words, they wouldn't want to just leave or even hurt their partner because they don't think of them as doing something wrong.

Melinda isn't afraid of Donovan because he's a terrible person. She is afraid of him because she's a terrible person who does terrible things that make him hurt her. He wouldn't harm her if she wasn't such a problematic woman.

There's also the issue of who Melinda is. She's a victim of abuse but she's still the wife of a fascist. Associating with her, endangering WISE to help or save her could easily backfire (probably won't but let me have my angst) against them. It would also make it harder for her to trust him. Would take long for Donovan's programming to cut back in and Melinda to run right back to him because everything he said was right.

Idk my thoughts are very inherent right now I am delirious for different reasons.

For starters, it's totally understandable that these panels make you feel sad! That's clearly what they were written to do.

However.

I can't take it seriously because it's RUDY WEST. Rudy West is not comparable to Oliver Queen! Rudy West is absolutely not a better father than Ollie!

I mean, aside from the fact that it's pretty hard to be a worse father than Rudy West and Roy would absolutely not be "a better person" if he was raised by the Wests, like. Ollie and Roy didn't have that much of a bad relationship when Roy was a teenager. Obviously Snowbirds happened and that changed their dynamic and created a whole lot of tension they had to work through, but this is clearly pre-Snowbirds, and since Ollie still has money+Queen Industries it's also presumably pre-Hard Traveling Heroes, which is where the idea of Ollie not being around stems from. Was there conflict? Sure! But not to the extent that the Teen Titans would be blaming Ollie for how Roy is (actually, the "its not his fault the way he was raised" angle is more accurate for Dick than Roy, but I'm not gonna get into that). And I am doing a lot of explaining and defending for a man who's competition is Rudy West.

Fundamental misunderstanding of Ollie and reducing him to "Batman with arrows" my beloathed.

Also another big issue is the fact that Roy's meant to be some spoilt rich brat, which doesn't really make sense?? I mean, Roy grew up on a reservation, and at this point he's living with Ollie who, based on this panel, is implied to still be at least kinda socialist in this timeline. He's not gonna be some disconnected nepo-baby who shames Wally for his parents' financial status, even at his most insecure, which I guess is the angle they're taking here.

And also why is Garth the one defending Roy? Garth doesn't care about Roy at best at this point, and actively dislikes him at worst. Especially considering Roy's treatment of Garth is arguably worse in this than in the original Teen Titans run. Idk, it feels like it's trying to make Garth into the quiet emotionally mature kid in this scenario, which i don't feel is very accurate to who Garth actually is (I'll admit I'm only recently getting into Aqua comics so I don't have a complete grasp of Garth's character, but I get the impression that he's definitely not as much of a pushover as this comic presented him as- in the original Teen Titans run he was bantering as much as the others were, and he did have moments where he'd get aggressive, such as when the Titans refuse to help him because of their 'vow')

I'm not gonna say I hate this comic. There are some parts of it I really love, like

These panels are cute as fuck and I adore them. I think that the comic really works as its own story outside of the main Teen Titans continuity, with its own interpretations of the characters and their stories. But if you try and apply it to the original Teen Titans series, it does get kinda messy.

So yeah, in conclusion, the panels are sad if you look at them within the story, but I just can't take it seriously in a broader scope because y'know. Rudy West. I'm not even that big of a Flash fan and I still know Rudy West is the worst guy.

How do you torment your favs (aka how have you traumatized some of your favourite characters)?

Well, if we're talking broadly here I mostly give them mommy issues, but lets go character by character here for the nitty gritty/true pattern examination

TW for mentions of miscarriages, abusive parents, and just a lot of trauma

Apple White-- Mommy issues, internalized homophobia that she does mostly get over but it doesn't help when a lot of the world is homophobic to her, body image issues, and a possible eating disorder

Darling Charming-- mommy issues, daddy issues, experiences a lot of homophobia and misogyny

Louie Duck-- Just. Just the worst mommy issues. Wants Della to love him so bad but feels like it's literally impossible because of their differences and his "glaring" flaws and selfishness

Yakko, Wakko, and Dot (Long Live the Queen) (idk how to write normal universe whoopsies)-- Abusive grandmother who actively tries to (and nearly accomplishes) murdering their parents making their parents have to abandon them for a year, Yakko has parentification trauma from that, Wakko gets literally starved and locked in a tower on multiple occassions, and Dot feels like it's all her fault whenever Wakko gets hurt because she's supposed to be the perfect princess. It gets fixed but it do be a lot

Lena Warner (my oc from Long Live the Queen)-- Abusive mother who literally attempted to kill her. Wants very badly to be a proper mother to her children and keep them safe, but her mother has far too much control and power over her for that to be truly possible. Had a runaway marriage in her late teens in order to avoid being married off to some old guy. Her mother's murder attempt caused a miscarriage and robbed her of a year with her children while she had to physically recover from her injuries. Ended up killing her in the end though, so that's good.

MK (dadsy of two)-- dead parents that were incredibly abusive (especially his "mother"), a burning desire for closeness to his guardian that he feels he can't access out of fear of attachment + Pigsy's own distant behavior at unpredictable moments. Desperately wants Pigsy to be his dad and nothing hurts more than when Pigsy actively denies it. Craves affection and praise more than anything in the whole wide world but doesn't know how to accept it/how to react when it happens.

Mei (dadsy of two)-- dead parents who gave her severe perfectionism but died before they could ever apologize/acknowledge/realize any damage done. Blames herself for starting the fire because she knocked over an ancestral artifact (that fire was actually fixed, the fire that killed them is unrelated but she'll never believe that). Wants to be the perfect daughter for Pigsy while also not feeling like she's actually his daughter because of the distance + complicated grief related feelings.

Pigsy (dadsy of two)-- tbh what haven't I done to him? Gave him guilt over the death of Sandy's ex fiancee due to "causing" Sandy's trauma that lead to the incident, gave him mommy and even worse daddy issues, deals with fantasy racism on such a regular basis he believes being distant with MK and Mei (ala saying he isn't their father/he's only their legal guardian) is the only way to really protect them from it (and even that backfires on more than one occasion). Internalized fatphobia. PTSD. Smoker. Severe lack of self esteem. Couldn't give less of a shit about himself and his own health (ESPECIALLY mental) while worrying endlessly about everyone else. Just. just so much trauma for one man. what the fuck.

Tang (all fanfics)-- Abusive, severely homophobic parents who cut him off when he was 19 due to finding out about his homosexuality. Could barely afford food for a year until he met Pigsy and basically relied on his charity in order to not starve to death/suffer the effects of severe malnutrition and still continue his education. Loves Pigsy endlessly and hates watching him torture himself over the littlest things (knows he does the same and feels so helpless every time it happens). Wants to be a dad to MK (and Mei) desperately but worries he's nothing compared to Pigsy. Has constantly had his passions belittled and mocked to the point it's genuinely surprising to him that MK actually likes his stories and the way he does things.

Sandy (all fanfics)-- PTSD, guilt over having missed 20+ years of his best friend's life. In Dadsy of Two he killed his fiancee after a nightmare about the war he and Pigsy had fought. Wanted to be a parent but after that accident, he can't trust himself with another human life like that. Has a hard time trying not to be "the therapist friend" and poking where he shouldn't when it comes to his friend's emotional issues (especially Pigsy's). Had just the worst toxic romance with Pigsy ever that was just the hottest of messes before it all fell apart but they tried to be friends (until his fiance's death) (the time away was very much needed for them both to heal and grow so they could actually be good friends again but it still hurts it took that long).

Pigsy (Li Na AU)-- most of the above but even more trauma around fatherhood, only made worse by the fact he had five miscarriages in the past (only three Tang knows about). Buries that pain instead of talking about it and believes that because Li Na is alive and well the pain is gone (it's not. it lives within him in every waking moment and is why he's so fucking terrified at the thought of losing her or MK).

so i've been sitting on this idea for Prince Red for a bit, it still has holes and issues to work out but i still think it be an interesting idea.

hopefully its not something that has been suggested before.

mk my beloved I'm sorry this is kinda a prince red turning into DKR au.

I say sorta because rather than "i have to protect this man from everyone at all costs" I'm suggesting more of an "I need to fix this man at all costs"

also, he wouldn't be the one doing the tormenting per say, but he's definitely enabling it.

so say its directly pointed out to everyone that MK's "sacrificial tendencies" is in fact programed into his nature by Nuwa. it's a core function of himself and his behavior, it cannot be removed. its just a fact, and everyone has to learn to live with the fact that he is self-destructive.

except Prince Red can't just agree with that, because centuries ago that similar thing was being said about HIM. the creator of the shamadi fire, an unstoppable, uncontrollable force of nature. destruction and violence was originally a core element of his behavior and for decades no one could fully control him not even his parents.

BUT that didn't actually end up being the case. when he was forable made to become one of guanyin's disciples, his personality and behavior did a 180. yeah, it took years and a lot of work but he eventually changed his whole self for the better and continued his teachings in favor of returning home.

he, with the teachings of Guanyin, changed his nature, so MK could as well. and he knows just how he can help him. he just has to get mk to go threw the same training he did!

and so he forcibly takes mk back to his monastery and the other disciples to help, and no he can't leave until red's sure he's "fixed" his destructive nature. hopefully, with all this one on one teaching time, he can also eventually fix his relationship with mk. he knows mk will be really upset at first, but surly once they start making progress with his healing journey they'll grow closer again.

now seeing as the disciples don't like mk or him being near red, they aren't exactly thrilled about this plan. however red is able to get them to see his point and agree that it is part of there duty to help others, and yeah they definitely all think Mk needs some serious reforming.

and if Reds this set on being with this stone monkey then at least with this plan they can make him reform into someone actually worthy of the prince.

their only condition to Red's plan? they are given full rights to disciplinary action against mk.

after all in the beginning Red needed a lot of correcting and had to receive at least some form of punishment for his bad behavior. and of course, had some form of restraint on him to prevent him from burning anything or escaping. Mk would 100% rebel against them in the beginning and try to leave so he'd have the proper punishments to correct his behavior.

and they all point out that Red is waaay too lenient with him to be trusted to give proper correction. he wants to help save mk from himself? he has to allow them to dish out the "tough love".

hence what I meant by Red's only enabling the torment, the others are the actual tormenters, given their bias, they definitely would take any opportunity to "correct" mk on anything and everything they didn't like. there careful about any physical acts, but they are for sure verbally abusing him whenever Red is not in earshot.

and worse the others would convinced red to not to really trust anything mk would say about being mistreated.

"he's exaggerating"

"he's just trying to guilt you"

"it seems harsh, but you know we need to be firm with him red"

"we all need to be tough on him, change is not easy red you know this."

and so on. Red already fully trusts that his fellow disciples have only the best intentions and want the best for mk so he parrots what they say and goes on with the day's lesson. doing his best to ignore mk's growing distress and misery, telling himself it's for the best. he was pretty miserable in the beginning of his reforming too, it'll pass, he's sure it will.

It's funny to me that in order to make stella look as bad as possible, viv and stolas fans make her relationship with Octavia bad, like always having been bad too. Idk how they don't realize thos makes stolas look bad too.

Like if stella always neglected Octavia and was always an asshole, then why did stolas stay and subject his daughter to that?

I mean if they'd shown stella as truly powerful enough to fuck him over or something so he stayed to keep him and Octavia alive that would be different. But despite wanting stella as a hate sink and villain, they don’t let her have any real power over stolas. Stolas is not afraid of what she or even her brother can do against him if he leaves. As soon as he wants to be with blitz he gets a divorce.

He could have done so at any time after their daughter was born, but he supposedly stayed because he wanted to give Via a normal life. But if stella was always neglectful and showed she didn't even like her, how is that good childhood? Why stay when it's no benefit for Via?

I get that people stay in abusive relationships, but that's because they either love their abuser, they are afraid if they leave their abuser will kill them, or because financially they can't. Sometimes, all three.

Stolas is in none of these situations. He didn’t know stella hired striker to kill him (despite her screaming it right infront of him). He doesn't love her, they don't appear to have times of calm or any good memories together. Hes the one who keeps everything if they divorce. She doesn't give a shit about Via and now she's throwing things, which could hit Via.

Why the hell did he stay and subject his daughter to this toxic person who doesn't like her? It's ridiculous to act as if he braved stellas abuse for years in order to give Via a good childhood, if it's true stella was never kind or caring towards her. Also why does he let his abusive wife take their daughter at all, especially now when she's so volatile? Is it just so he has an empty house he can fuck blitz in?

It's like everytime they try to make Stolas look like he's the lesser evil they indirectly actually make him look worse. Seriously, every try to make him this put upon woobie just makes him competent as a parent who doesn't see he needs to get Via out of there instead of trying to keep up this bs image of her mother since she's supposed to be this vile abuser. And again as you said, it doesn't make sense he stays because he has the resources to always kick her out but it just comes off as a martyr complex he has to make himself look like a better person than he actually is. None of this adds up because the writers only use the abuse in order to justify the ship and not how it relates to their daughter.

I’m pretty sure you mentioned an idea of an AU of your Chthonic!Athena AU where Zeus actually did not mean to permanently harm/kill Athena and was sincerely regretful. In that scenario, would Apollo and Athena’s trauma be as bad as in Astrophobia and Its Consequences? (I feel like it would be agony either way though, for a version of Zeus who sincerely cares for his children yet still sucks at parenting and leading his family, to have caused such irreparable harm to his daughter)

also, I’ve been wondering about Minerva? With the other gods (except maybe Apollo? Idk if he changes much in Roman form) it’s like a subtle personality change I think (I haven’t read the books in a while), but with Athena it seems like it is more like the mental damage is getting worse and Minerva is a manifestation of the brain fog and confusion.

(an aside, I honestly love how Minerva mentioned Odysseus in MOA, claiming he could help her get home. Even as this romanized version of herself, she still cared for and respected this one long dead hero so much)

So in the Zeus's Regret AU, I honestly can't decide if Athena and Apollo would be more or less traumatized by what happened in God Games. At minimum, they'd be traumatized in different ways than they are in the base AU.

They're both a lot less traumatized before God Games than they are in Chthonic!Athena, at least. Because with the base AU, Zeus did everything he did from a basis of maliciousness and his desire to see others suffer, and they both know that. The side effects of what happened in God Games may have been accidental, though neither of them are certain on that front, but the suffering Athena endured was not.

But in Regret, God Games was a moment of temper and viciousness that neither of them had ever seen from him, before or since. And that makes them both doubt the entirety of their own relationships. With him and with everyone else.

Because if their own Father, who they love and who they thought loved them in turn, could hurt Athena so badly for such a small thing, what was stopping him from turning his temper on them again? What was stopping everyone else from doing the same? Had he made her suffer this way on purpose?

Athena had shown weakness in God Games, had shown that she cared for and had an attachment to Odysseus and his family. And that weakness was, at least partially, why he hurt her so badly. She'd put her attachment to Odysseus before her respect for Zeus and his pride. And now she was dying for it.

They're both terrified that if they showed such a weakness again then someone, whether that be Zeus or someone else, would use it as an excuse to hurt the two of them.

So Apollo actually pulls back a lot more in Regret than he does in the base AU, with his friendship with Athena becoming his only truly close relationship on Olympus on purpose, as opposed to it being a side effect of how cutthroat Olympus is, hiding Athena's condition, and his own trauma from from Athena's near death.

And as for Minerva, I'm still not quite sure how to properly describe what I want her to represent, so sorry if this doesn't make much sense.

Minerva is essentially the damage to her soul made manifest. She's what happens when all of Athena's negative feelings and pain from the soul damage hits her at once. Or rather, the other way around.

All of the anger and fear and pain and side effects from what she's suffered since God Games hits her at once when she's forced to be Minerva, leaving her afraid and hurt and traumatized and angry as only a small fragment of what her mind knows she should be. So she lashes out at everyone around her, wanting them to hurt the way she is, while also pushing them away so she won't be hurt even more.

Ironically, her children actually get the least of it, her love for them enough to pull Athena back into focus slightly. What happened with Annabeth was bad, yes, I'm not denying that. But it was miles from the worst Minerva had ever been, even to others she cared about.

It's actually really lucky that Apollo doesn't change much, if at all, when Roman, because if he did, Minerva would likely have succeeded in pushing him away like she wanted to.

I was talking to a friend about Kavetham and how, while I like the ship a lot, it's like... Cheese curds on their way to becoming Parmesan.

There's no question that they're not one of, if not THE, most important people in the other's life. That said, I don't think they could date rn. For one, Alhaitham is... Mean.

Not on purpose. Nothing he says is with intent to harm, but he is AWARE of the harm his phrasing causes and... Doesn't do anything about it? While I would like to defend him on the basis that communicating while autistic is HARD, why is everyone so emotional, there is a point where you recognize that you live in a society. If you wanna stop hurting your friends, you gotta watch your tone. Or even just clarify more: "I said you're emotionally fragile because I watch you bleed for people that don't care about you. It bothers me and I want you to stop hurting yourself."

The correct response to someone saying "what you said hurt my feelings" is not "well that's not what I meant and you should get over it" lol

Now, more importantly, I don't think Kaveh could handle dating someone he's financially dependent on.

Idk if y'all have ever really had to RELY on someone like that before. It's a horrible feeling. You know how much it sucked growing up and your parents could threaten to kick you out if you disappointed them and you'd be left homeless AND unable to support yourself?

It's just as bad if you're not related to them. I think it's a little worse, actually, because even if your parents are monsters you can usually hold their public image hostage to get them to cooperate. "I kicked my son out' is almost never a good look, yk?

People are much less sympathetic to a romantic partner than a child. Anyway, I do think Kaveh would be open to starting a relationship with someone he relies on because he has no self esteem. It's just another thing to feel guilty about, whatever, business as usual. That means that if they ever had a sexual relationship, it would feel like... A very nicely dressed up prostitution. This is what he needs to do to earn a place in the house. It's a service he can provide to make up for the burden of his presence.

I just don't think that's a particularly healthy headspace to be in lol

And while I was critical of Alhaitham earlier, he isn't stupid. HE knows Kaveh is incapable of not feeling like he owes Alhaitham, which is why I think he charges rent. Kaveh can't cut and run if he's actually paying his way. And more than that, I don't think Alhaitham would allow a premature relationship that would ultimately distance Kaveh from him

okay, i think i left this in tags, so like ignore this if you read those, but I can get into Urban Canville. I have the contrarian in me that can shake some sympathy thoughts loose:

I like the idea that he might be lower class than some of his other peers (going off a Peter headcanon that Io Jasper is as well and that she's a merit scholar to the Academy. His parents are referred to dismissively. Coriolanus can't even be bothered to remember what exactly they do. He posits physicists question mark).

Everyone not hesitating to dogpile him on national tv... makes me really think his family isn't in the position to complain.

I think his bad attitude could spring from insecurities about that and lashing out. (a lot of mentors can be this way to me, but I think coming from a less prestigious family could really put a chip on his shoulder)

He is canonically very smart and probably won't shut the fuck up about it, but when you aren't as rich and your family isn't as prestigious, what else have you got to compete with?

He likes making people feel stupid. It's his one sure-fire way to feel like he has the upper-hand. Since it's couched in the system of academic excellence, people can't punish him for it directly

Although, similar to how I see Arachne kind of leaning towards abusing her power over her tribute, I think that Urban would do the same.

I bet he tries to fit in when people are shitting on someone else but everyone gives him a weird look because they are like... "hey, you can't say that. you were just shitting on us?"

i actually really like your first headcanon! the idea of him being a scholarship kid and the other kids not respecting his parents gives him an interesting (and kind of sympathetic to me?) background! i could actually understand his anger better when you think about it like that!

I love him, I really do! I had such a crush on Danny when I was a teen, made worse (or better, idk) by the fact that when the show aired, I was also just entering high school. So it was one of those, "oh look! A socially awkward teen also has to deal with the stress of living! He's just like me fr (minus the ghost powers on my part)!"

My unpopular opinion about this character:

This boy doesn't have a dominant bone in his entire body. I don't like reading top Danny fics, my boy deserves a break, and I'm also not a fan when he's taller and beefier than Vlad either. I stan a short king and I will take no criticism.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:

It's a kids' show, so I know this was never gonna happen, but I would have loved to see him have a full psychological break. I'm talking an entire episode dedicated to Danny having a complete and total panic attack, Batman the Animated Series style. Parents want to catch and study him, one of his best friends keeps pushing him to do the superhero thing, parents and peers are pressuring him to date said pushy friend, he's failing in school, he can't retaliate against his primary bully, his future is screwed if he doesn't watch himself, the ghosts keep coming and they won't fucking stop, his sister keeps giving him these worrying looks like she's worried, why should she be worried? He's fine, everything's fine, he's only half-dead, what's the big deal?

Danny eventually has that panic attack the closer he gets to graduating, unsure of his future, scared he's gonna fail and never be able to leave Amity Park, terrified that all he has to look forward to is fighting ghosts and running/hiding from his parents. His future is forever uncertain because the alternate time line, and his friends can't understand, even if they're trying, but they just can't know what's going on with him, and he sees the fear in their eyes every time he brings up that dark future. He could go to Clockwork, but Clockwork will only give so much advice. He doesn't share more than is necessary to keep time in tact, so he eventually breaks and goes to Vlad. Who else could possibly understand if not the only other halfa in existence?

Basically, I would have loved to see him become increasingly overwhelmed until he had no choice but to run away and go to Vlad's. They make a temporary truce long enough for them to bond over their shared plight.

Danny totally had a crush on Vlad the first time they met. He thought he was handsome and charming and all that gross first crush stuff, and he actually enjoyed talking with him, even if him hitting on his mom was super fucking weird. Danny could look past that because he knew his mom wasn't interested, was happily married, and when Vlad wasn't focused on her, he could be pretty cool. Too bad he had to go and ruin it by revealing his evil intentions.

Aiden LOVESSSS rollercoasters so much, its a great way to get his adrenaline up! He'll ask Ash a lot to go on one too, but he won't force her (rollercoasters are *really* loud, especially all the people screaming, and he wouldn't make her do anything that causes her pain)
