Someone having a bad attitude/rude articulation is not the same as someone being personally mean/harmful/offensive to you.

If you can walk away from a discussion confident that neither of you said anything worth wishing you could take back then congratulations: you’ve had the real life equivalent of a negative friendliness action in the Sims and there are NO permanent negative bodily consequences! Get back on the horse, your next social interaction with someone else could easily be far better.

My hands get tense and painful when I feel socially rejected, I can fully understand it sucks bad to receive attitude you feel undeserving of especially when you perceive yourself as working hard for unconscious social praise. But just like two autistics with different stimulation needs can’t both be happy in the exact same environment “made for autistics”, not everyone can have a pleasant reaction in a social convention “meant to be pleasant” because people can’t control their physical symptoms of frustration any more than I can control that my mind goes blank and I stutter or go silent when I’m genuinely (and irrationally) scared about answering simple questions.

As humans we are all owed common decency. Common decency is not semi-conditional kindness. It’s just respect for the unknown of a person. Offering basic comforts/requirements as you feel is natural, non-threatening environment for your personal life, acknowledging you exist when you arrive and wishing you well when you depart. That is common decency. Smiling, speaking in a specific tone, and forcing your body language to work for the comfort of a group rather than flow naturally as you react to stimuli, that is kindness. It’s nice to receive kind actions from strangers, but no one is owed these things. Even if you paid for a burger or got lost in the supermarket for two hours.

Based on what I've read here's some suggestions— some may contradict each other since they're just ideas and you prolly shouldn't add ALL of them

I'm imagining them to be much more soft spoken and introverted— not shy though. They don't get nervous around people they just don't really see the point of small talk/are more quiet. Maybe when they speak is an "Everyone listens" situation depending on how rare it is for to speak without prompting.

Manipulative and Influential are two different things. (Ur smart but I feel like making this point since ppl confuse them.)

+Maybe if you go more influential you can tie in the "Everyone listens" more.

As for manipulation:

They would probably mostly speak the truth and if they give their opinion, they say so. They also never say bold faced lies maybe dancing around the subject. (Think Alhaitham/Ayato). It would be more subtle and people can just see them as being private/ weird like everyone else at school.

Or you can pull a Cater and give Yuu a "speaking face" to put on during interactions. Granted it won't be as fake.

People rarely see them put too much effort into things.

^^ like maybe they never do assignments but Ace tests. Or they never participate in PE but are peak condition for exams. (Seriously they refuse to run laps but here they are with 80+ pull ups in their record)

Maybe their grades can be purposely low but never failing.

They tend to pawn off work to others after making them think it's their issue/convincing or by simply being in the right place in the right time. They can easily hide from Crowley making him give work to others.

I can see them being very calm. Really hard for them to make them show too much emotion.

Or maybe they're creepy calm. Maybe they always have a slight smile on their face no matter how they're feeling. How creepy would it be to be attacking someone who's smile doesn't drop for a moment? Or someone smiling while crying.

Blunt and explains things easily or they're more expressive in words and maybe make metaphors for people to derive meaning from or as a method to explain things.

silvio’s personality is obviously not for everyone but one thing i love about characters like him is that you can see their flaws clearly. im personally rarely into characters who have some kind of righteous front only to have some hidden dark side or whatever (if you like that good for you im not shaming!!!). anyway small spoilers and rant under the cut

i really didn’t think silvio would be my fav prince tbh. he really surprised me because he’s actually very smart and has reasons for his actions like the fact that he doesn’t actually like jewelries and he only wears them to show his worth to ppl seriously caught me off guard and i mean he’s right!! even irl people WILL judge your appearance, especially when you wanna do business with them. i originally thought he wore them because he wanted to show off or something. ofc he’s not perfect, his personality can be overbearing and too rude sometimes but it balances his character well. he treats rio badly but you can’t say he doesn’t care about him. the king ab*sed him while and favored rio,,,, i think people with siblings will understand why deep inside he has some negative feelings towards rio (ESPECIALLY if you’re the oldest sibling). even with that, we have flashbacks that show silvio wasn’t always horrible to rio. there was even that one interview where he said he went adventuring with rio when they were kids and they got matching earrings from that which they both still use btw.

i hate it when people have so much to say about a character without finishing their story. i dont like rio but i dont make hate trains criticizing him. yes i can understand why he’s so attached to mc but it’s not my thing so whatever i move on����‍♀️ it’s fiction and an otome game, ofc these characters will have redeeming qualities so you can’t blame people who like controversial characters. it’s a completely different story if it’s irl ofc. yelling about morals and ideals at an otome game is sooo boring imo like you must have very bland taste in romance novels…

my mom is very transphobic. i do not blame her for it, since she just grew up like that, i just blame her for being mean abt it towards her own child. E.g spitting the worst things you could possibly say abt trans ppl, knowing im listening and i will not repeat any of them, but i can assure u they are hurtful. Plus not believing me im trans. She doesn’t use my name, or my pronouns, she forbid me to wear my first binder so now i have to hide my second one and it’s making life harder and i’m not complaining about all those things, im just complaining abt the times she says she hates me for being trans, when she makes me feel as if she hates her own child, nobody rlly wants to hear that from their parents.

also a thing she does is touching me - yes ik it sounds like sexual harassment and believe me it also feels like sexual harassment but it’s like, it’s not really making me suffer so idc. still, this is very uhm unacceptable kinda i think. i mean if someone told me this, i’d be seriously worried.

my dad is not reaaaaly transphobic, it’s no as if he’s a supporter but he accepts it, i think he just feels very sorry for trans people, i do as well bc being trans sucks. ooo god ok i’ve been to a few by the same artists so i’ll put them all together!! my first concert was one direction in 2014. i don’t really have a lot of memories from it, i just remember that it started raining when i got into the stadium so i looked up to the sky with open arms and the silliest smile on my face, i was so happy and excited to see them!!! i had only been a fan of them for a year and a half so i didn’t have to wait long but it felt like i had been in the fandom forever

that same year i saw r5 which was. very random lol. my friend wanted to go but didn’t have anyone to go with, the tickets weren’t too expensive so i went with her. i saw them twice again after that show. they were always fun! the music was kinda disneyish but i liked it anyway, ross was always an absolute sweetheart so i had a great time everytime!

i saw the vamps twice and those were the most random concerts actually. the first time i saw them was in 2016 and i bought a ticket the day of the show. i didn’t even like them, but my friend’s cousin got sick and gave her her ticket, so my friend told me they were very cheap so i should buy one and go with her so i did. and i really enjoyed it! the second time i saw them tho… i don’t know what changed, but i remember feeling a bit bored? and kinda ignored lol. we had the same seats as the year prior but it was the opposite side. so like, the dude who was closest to us didn’t really. look at us. and i mean we weren’t close at all, it was a good view anyway but he just. didn’t even wave so that was kinda eh. i saw tini tho so that was something!!!

saw fifth harmony twice lmfaooo the first time was. probs the worst show i’ve been to? there was like… no interacting w the crowd at all it all felt v robotic. maybe i’m not used to shows w ppl dancing but idk. camila was the most fun at the show. also i was annoyed cause they changed the venue and i ended up w shit seats lol so maybe that influenced it. also it only lasted an hour and it was v far from my house so that sucked too lol. the second time i had pit and got very close so i liked it more but i think that’s literally the only reason, i don’t think i would have enjoyed it if i had nosebleed seats or something like that rip

i saw niall in 2018! it was a very chill concert and i really liked it!!!! i don’t remember a lot i’ll be honest i just know that i liked it. pit wasn’t that bad cause his music was very chill so i didn’t fight for my life that time!

ok finally 2022. imma start w harry. i saw him in 2018 as well but i’m putting those two together: i had an AMAZING time both times, i really love harry as a performer! my least favorite thing about his shows tho are … the fans … they are just rude and mean for no reason. last week was only bad while we were queuing outside but in 2018 they were SO aggressive while waiting for him to come out AND during the show and that annoyed me but i can’t say anything negative about harry. i had a blast both times and i still can’t believe how lucky i got this year being so close to him lol

LOUIS!!!! i still can’t believe i got to see my boy twice. i was so nervous the whole time, i wanted everything to go right (aka didn’t want to pass out lol) so thinking about it all the time made me very very anxious and i def think i could have had a better time. i still had a fucking blast tho, i couldn’t believe LOUIS was in front of me like i was actually in shock during the first show. to this day i watch my videos and go . i can’t believe i took this. lol. i can’t wait to see him again sometime next year/2024 <3

He’s very attentive, and while he can get frustrated sometimes, he’d never make you feel insecure. He’ll wait as long as you need to.

He can usually tell what you want based off of body language, but if it’s something romantic like a kiss or a hug, he wants you to be verbal about it, or he wants you to initiate it first.

Bakugou likes when you hold his hand while you speak, he likes the way you run your thumb across his knuckles. It makes him feel all giddy inside.

But he won’t tell you he likes this.

It’s not like you can’t tell with the way he practically leaps to hold your hand every time you even think about opening your mouth to speak.

So if anyone is not up to date on my lore I move into college in less than a week, which is WILD btw literally never thought I’d even be accepted to a college and now I’m not only accepted to my dream school but I’m moving in in less than a week? Hot damn.

So like my school has orientation but they broke up all the freshmen into groups? That are called primers? God I hope no one from my school is reading this. Anyway in my primer group is me, this kid who has 20 3DS(es?) that they’re bring to school to just…hand out to people(????), and my crush who I’m gonna refer to as this little blue diamond emoji 💠 bc it makes me think of them.

💠 and I are doing that sort of Lesbian Flirting thing where you’re both obviously interested in each other but worried that the other one is just being nice and you don’t wanna fuck it up so you’re like nooo I can’t just say how I feel bc she might just be a super nice person! We’re both constantly like “you’re so attractive I’d make out with you right now but no homo” (we are both lesbians) and it’s. But then today we agreed to be Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy for Halloween? And there’s like…nothing gayer than that so? Idk.

We have been texting 24/7. Just texting our thoughts to each other, texting about comics we like, texting about the eternal emptiness we feel inside from having to be away from each other until we move in next week (yes we’re very melodramatic). We only live like an hour and a half away from each other so it’s not like it’s long distance by any means but we don’t have time to drive to each other before moving in bc packing and the like. Also…we literally move in in less than a week lmao it makes sense to just wait

My new wheelchair bag came today and she offered to embroider it for me and I’m like 😭 that’s the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me. I might be giving her Mercane, at least to borrow, bc she has arthritis and has been wanting to try a folding cane for a while but they’re kinda pricy

Anywayyy my friend and I made a disabilities club for the school which is wild bc we haven’t even moved in yet lol but it’s taken off a lil bit. Right now it’s only freshmen but after we move in I wanna try to have like…meet ups and stuff. Hopefully then more upperclassmen will join! Love being around disabled ppl.

Also my roommate is super cool. He dyed his hair green so we match ✌️😭 so cool. He’s giving me his old Monster High DS game 💕💞💖💗

idk where the anon's from, but I live in the US (and unfortunately right in the damn middle-kinda south of it) and lemme just say .. people are so brutal about kpop here it's actually crazy. like idk why people laugh at and make fun of kpop so much??? it's literally just another music genre so why are we laughing at it? :/

I dealt with similar problems that the anon had, bc I used to have cute little kpop pins and photocards that I'd take everywhere with me and ppl would always be so mean about it??? :'( and they never gained anything from it, so why do it?? and I'm not Asian but my friend who also liked kpop was south east asian and they were especially mean to her??? like wtf is wrong with people D: just let ppl like what they like?? I've even had a few friends who stopped expressing their like in kpop publicly bc of how mean ppl can be :((

what I was talking about above was a few years back, and I still wear all my cute little kpop merchandise out and I don't deal with as many problems as I did before (or at least ppl don't come up and say it to me directly) so I feel like kpop is slowly becoming more normalized (especially bc of tiktok audios lol) in the west (but honestly I think that might only count for big groups. like if I had a fromis9 pc on me I doubt that ppl would ignore me less than if i had a bts pc bc at least some ppl know who bts is where im from :/)

it just sucks T__T I'm honestly so jealous of more east coast and west coast states like California or New York, bc even tho the ppl there may still face rude/racist/insensitive comments, kpop is much more common there especially in this day and age where there's now a bunch of kpop stores in the US and the amount of thode public kpop dances that take place, and not to mention that jyp audition thing or whatever that was about

I’m like from a very small country but kpop has started to be normalised here too but yeah I definitely get the stigma because my friends used to make fun of my kpop obsession haha…

i always imagined myself being kinda mean? or sarcastic in a relationship n saying "my fo would have to put up with xyz" but sometimes ill catch myself and realize how polite or nice and ill compare my mannerisms to others-

and im almost shocked n even annoyed sometimes like ??? how is this not common courtesy /normal for everyone??? and i learned its very much a cultural thing. this isnt to brag its rly comforting ? bc i always feel like id scare them off ; idk how to explain it better but its just. so weird working w/ all these ppl from the mainland compared to locals like you can tell the difference and no offense...non locals are so much more selfish and rude, its jarring.

this isnt to say that all mainlanders are mean and selfish its rly just a cultrual thing and it always intimidates and lowkey frustrates me. esp when i get taken advantage of bc...i FEEL like sometimes i do but majority of those times im like 'im probably not n overthinking it' but w/ all that in mind, sometimes i imagine my fos being kinda like ??? when i offer to do certain things for them or even the way i talk to them its just a lot kinder n sweeter, maybe as we get closer id be more jokey. sometimes i imagine how they could easily take advantage of my kindness but dont? or how they wanna protect me bc of how 'naive' n forgiving i am like, talking me out of things so i dont get my feelings hurt anymore, or speaking up for me even when i say i dont mind helping more like 'well, i do,' not in a controlling way just,,,helping me....self preservation...limits and boundaries
