she could have loved him had she given herself the chance. sure, it was one night and she made the decision to leave it at such, but it was one of the most difficult decisions she's ever made, right behind putting hudson's name on the birth certificate. she still thinks about that night they shared together and how it took everything within her to go back to hudson. there have been moments throughout the years where she's considered reaching out to him. to tell him that she believes that max is his son and that she made the mistake of a lifetime. so, in memory of the night they shared together, and as a tribute to the beautiful son they made together, andy has a 'g' tattooed on the inside of her wrist. it's tiny and it's not even really noticeable, but it's a comfort piece.

Did some thinking and I haven't seen an Alternate Transmigration AU of Shen Yuan as Yue Qingyuan.

I think it's mostly because people generally like whatever the hell is going on between him and Shen Jiu, and some might even like the double angst of that relationship + the added fact that Yue Qingyuan Does Not Know and will Never Know that Shen Jiu is gone forever (because if there's one thing YQY stans like, it's his pain lmfao). But I think we're really missing out on the potential angst AND crack factors of canon QiJiu Fuckery with Yue Qingyuan being replaced, and SHEN JIU being the one having to deal-by-not-dealing with Yue Qingyuan being gone.

Because it's possible that he'd recognize that something is off and IMMEDIATELY decide YQY is possessed, which in it's own right can be both a crack and angst premise. But imagine if he doesn't???

His self-loathing and his hatred towards YQY (and the good memories he DOES still have of him) would make the perfect concoction of reasons to doubt himself and YQY's actions. He's already so hostile to him, constantly pushing him away, wanting but not wanting him to fuck off forever. Shen Yuan being yeeted into Yue Qingyuan's body and probably doing exactly that for the first month or two? Shen Jiu would be SEETHING. How dare this man take all the verbal, visual, and physical cues I've given, and actually take the hint and leave??? How dare he give me space when I throw things at his head and threaten his life??? Clearly all that kindness from the past few decades was just an act, just like he thought! He's stabbing a pillow with Yue Qingyuan's face on it.

And when "Yue Qingyuan" starts showing up at the peak again- to speak to that fucking orphan brat???? The same kid Yue Qingyuan almost took into his own peak??? The same little runt that's all talented and special and has all that fucking potential in him???

Binghe would NOT be the one committing the attack on Cang Qiong Mountain this time.

So we all agree that Jamil enjoys when he can nudge others to do what he wants, right? Like, one of the basketball jersey lines is about controlling the flow of the game and making others react, and beans camo has a bit of a similar vibe.

Plus like, the whole plan in book 4 of setting things in motion and having others actually take the decisive steps once he paved the way.

So, consider: Jamil nudging his s/o to being the one to actually act on his desires. Because yeah you're together, he knows how you feel about him, but it's just nice to get himself to feel extra desired and wanted, isn't it? Having you come to him, rather than him going to you.

So he does all sorts of little things he knows get to you.

Knows how you feel about seeing his bared arms? Casually pulls up his sleeves while cooking (if he's not in his dorm uniform already).

Or maybe he'll ask you to come watch his practice or a game, if he knows him on court is a weakness of yours.

The sight of his hair loose gets you weak? Oh better undo his ponytail and take his time readjusting his hair.

A million and one totally casual touches, he just happens to touch you in passing while doing his thing or while you're hanging out.

Similarly, he just happens to be close to you while talking, lowering his voice or using a particular tone that gets to you.

You like his more cocky, scheming side? Oh, why doesn't he tell you about a little something he just pulled off earlier (or is planning on doing), that'll give him a reason to hit you with that smirk and everything.

Sweet words from him are your weakness? Sure he can slip something nice and totally matter-of-fact into the conversation (when you're alone, at least).

Just, all those little things, until he can really see all that love in your eyes, that desire in your expression.

And the satisfaction he feels when you're the one getting close to him, when you're the one to turn those fleeting touches into something more. When you don't let go of him.

He loves pushing you like that.

And how easy it is to make you express your love to him? Well, that just tells of how much love you have to give to him, doesn't it? And how could he possibly not want to see the proof of that, time and time again.

vampire!choso who’d stay up all night gently stroking your hair under the moonlight because watching your chest gently rise and fall was a much more pleasant sight than the darkness of his eyelids as he pretended to sleep

vampire!choso who’d carry hand warmers with him because he wants you to be able to hold his hands without getting cold (or who would rest his palms on your neck and wrists to cool you down if you ever got too warm)

vampire!choso who’d always try to be gentle with you because he was afraid of hurting you, still struggling to understand the fragility that is being human, even after you assure him you’re stronger than he thinks

All I'll say about the ATLA live action reducing the side quests is that Zuko is convinced Aang is a master of evasion, which is why he's so difficult to catch, and it is his job to crack the pattern. Then it cuts to Sokka saying "you have no idea where we're going do you?"

romantic clownzy is sweet in its own right, super super cute and stuff. but platonic clownzy / funhouseduo is just so much funnier especially considering how they constantly flirt with each other. it’s also got this special kind of tenderness too & its really funny to think about. i think they can work really well in both ways and that’s so special to me.. their dynamic is too good either way….. 😪
