Admittedly, she didn't pay much mind to the tone of his voice, attributing it to his usual grouchy demeanor rather than the genuine emotion it came from. What with the weariness affecting her brain, she didn't give it any thought. Her concern lied far more with Vegeta's current state.

❝Here,❞ she hoists his arm over her shoulder, carrying a good portion of his weight as she shuffles to find a safer alcove for the two to rest in. It wasn't much cover, but it ought to be enough for the time being. Gingerly placing him down, she heaves a breath, realizing how low on resources she truly was. Normally, she would have been able to heal him up a hundred percent while she was carrying him, but she couldn't manage that in her current state. The battle has all but drained her. Even her regeneration has faltered, minor wounds still present on her body and stinging all the while. The fact that the blast had barely grazed her was a blessing -- at least that meant she still had something of a ki pool to pull from.

❝I don't have much left,❞ she admits, and yet regardless, reaches forward to place her hand upon Vegeta's shoulder. Entirely without his permission, her ki begins to flow into him, healing his more severe wounds -- albeit gradually, far slower than usual. Her breathing is heavy, and even her perch upon him is trembling. ❝But you have a better chance of fighting than I do. I can take care of the--❞ she winces. ❝--The deeper wounds right now. The rest can-- c-can come later. For now, you need to win.❞

She grins, bearing the pain and exhaustion, but her eyes reflecting confidence as she stares at him directly.

❝You've got this, Vegeta. You can win this. I'll still help where I can.❞

a gust of frigid wind rushes into the entryway as the front doors of the einzbern castle slam open with truly iimpressive force, considering that the one who stands at the threshold with her arms extended after opening said doors is just a little girl. snow clings to her hair and clothes, and her cheeks are flushed, though whether it's with cold or childish rage is hard to say.

"mooooooooooom!!!!!" illya calls out as she storms into the castle. "kiritsugu keeps winning all our games!!! make him stop!!"
